You mentioned a while ago that Conrad from Man of Medan is following you because you found him in Alan Wake 2, so why not write something about it?😉

Wake's manuscript had made a mess of things - had grabbed reality by its roots and pulled them, twisted them, braided them into something new altogether - Saga had seen it happen firsthand, in real-time, and still, somehow, this was the strangest change she'd witnessed tonight.

Or, at the very least, the most unexpected.

"Sheriff Breaker?" she called, pushing past a few lackadaisical townsfolk as she hustled her way down the dock, meeting him as he climbed off the speedboat. After what she'd seen happen down in the morgue, the way the darkness had swallowed him whole, she hadn't expected him to look...well...put together, say, but this was...this was a little much. The shock of it was enough that her first thought escaped her before she could organize the rest of them: "Did you...shave?"

"Sheriff..." he repeated slowly as he joined her on the dock, the smirk wending its way across his face almost as out of place as the cargo shorts he was wearing, "I'm sorry, I think you have me confused with someone else, I'm actually with the FBI - Female Body Inspectors, you get me - but I mean, if you're looking for someone to lay down the law, so to speak, look no further!"
