summary: when you disappear for six hours straight, overworking yourself, shoto panics and misunderstands the entire situation. 

a/n: literally the first anime man i ever simped for and holy shit do i need to get caught up on MHA i am like two seasons behind :,(

YOUR TO-DO list had seen better days. much better days.

today, it was overflowing. there were assignments for every class, multiple different kinds of quirk training you had yet to complete, cleaning to do in your dorm room, hopefully a meal or two to eat - if you had the time - a multitude of people to call back and respond to, and, as always, a boyfriend to communicate with.

but, sitting at your desk with a stack of papers beside you that seemed neverending, you found yourself forgetting anything else you needed to do. hours passed in a haze of paper, hand cramps, and scribbles of words and equations and formulas. time blurred together, your neck and back ached, and it wasn’t until you noticed you were practically squinting at your papers that you realized-

the sun had set.

you didn’t register it for a moment. you had a candle burning beside you and a laptop in front of you, enough so then you could still see your papers and continue to work. but you were squinting hard, and it was starting to bother your head as well as the rest of you. with a sigh, you stood up for a moment, finally stretching as you made your way to the light switch.

you passed your nightstand on the way back, and your eyes locked onto your phone. you told yourself not to touch it, to return to your desk until the work was done, but then you were desperate to know what time it was, and you were unlocking your phone.

seven thirty-eight.

you were about to click off your phone, you really were, when you received a text message from tsuyu. you merely blinked at it, not really comprehending the words, until you swiped down to see all your notifications.

.. oops.

as it turns out, your sudden disappearance off the face of the earth had scared - not just your shoto - but the rest of your classmates. even bakugou, who was prone to either ignoring everyone or expressing his severe dislike, had texted you, asking where you were. you had messages from everyone - thankfully not aizawa-sensei - in your class. you stared at the screen for a moment, trying to weigh your options.

respond.. finish the work.. go downstairs.. what to do? your thoughts were fragmented, a sure sign of overwork, but you dismissed it. maybe you just needed a coffee. yes, that sounded perfect. it got you downstairs, so everyone would know you were still alive, and it would help you focus.

with your plan in mind - get downstairs, make a cup of coffee, answer three or four questions of where you were, return to your room - you left your room for the first time in six hours, footsteps light on the ground as you walked to the elevator. the doors opened, and you were stepping inside, not noticing the other occupant.

“.. (y/n)?” shoto todoroki asked, eyes wide as he looked at you. “you’re- where have you been?”

you froze, not having prepared yourself to see him just yet. “uh.. in my room?” you said, your tone lilting upwards, as if you were also confused. 

he nodded, reaching out a hand to you before pausing and retracting it, his eyes boring into his palm. “did.. did i do something?” he asked, refusing to look at you.

you stared at him, lips parting. “what?”

he shrugged helplessly, suddenly looking a lot like the hurt little boy he had confided in you about. “well.. you didn’t respond. to.. anyone. i kept calling, and texting, and then i went to your room, and i knocked, and you didn’t answer so i didn’t know if you were even in there, and then i remembered that sometimes i leave you on read or i say the wrong thing or i freeze you and then i thought that-”

you cut off his ramble with a hand to his left cheek, your thumb stroking softly over the scarred skin. “shoto. breathe, baby,” you said softly, taking his hand to press to your chest and taking a deep breath, showing him to match your breathing. “just breathe.”

he nodded, taking in a shuddering breath and releasing it with you - at least, doing his best to. when he exhaled, he slumped, like all the nervous energy in him had slipped out, and he rested his head against your shoulder. you continued breathing with him, and he kept matching your breaths until his heart rate was calm again.

“thank you, (y/n),” he murmured, keeping his head resting on your shoulder.

you nodded, releasing his hand, fully intent on letting go of him, but he merely grasped your hand tighter, taking a half-step closer to you.

“can we.. stay like this? just for a bit?” he said, one hand enclosed around yours, the other wrapped around your waist. 

instead of responding verbally, you wrapped your free arm around his torso, keeping him close to you. 

you both remained like that for quite some time, merely basking in each other’s embrace, until the elevator doors started to open. you both froze, having forgotten where you were entirely.

and then denki’s voice was practically echoing in the elevator, making you both wince.

“hey! quit canoodling in public!”

If Y/N had to pay Cooper one compliment, it was that he had been a very good teacher.

Months passed, years, and she survived the apocalypse perfectly on her own.

To avoid trouble, she hid her pitboy and her gender under a large coat and a Ranger mask. Some people made fun of her, thinking she was doing this to protect herself from radiation. Everyone knew that West Tek's hardware, or any of Vault's partners, was crap.

Y/N knew it, and that was why she always had Radaway on her. Not at all in case she saw Cooper again and he needed some.

Three years without any news, doing everything to avoid attracting attention, and she hardly thought about him at all.

If she sometimes looked at the photo of him before his turning, with little Janey, it was only to remember that she should trust no one in this rotten world. Never again, she repeated to herself.

It was with this spirit that she almost killed Lucy when the young woman fell on her. Literally.

Y/N was standing in a crater, calm, silent, holding her sniper tightly, ready to shoot her future dinner, when the little vaultie had jumped to escape a yao guai.

Her instinct not being often wrong, she knew that it was more urgent to kill the bear than the imbecile who had thought that surprising a shooter was less dangerous than confronting a beast.

Even though she had a gun, was covered in blood, and one of her fingers was a different color, little Vault dweler looked harmless with her big, naive doe eyes.

It was obvious that she had been outside for a short time. A true miracle that she is still alive.

"Thank you, thank you very much !" she repeated with a huge smile, as if Y/N wasn't pointing her sniper at her. "You don't know the week I just had ! My father was kidnapped, I wanted to save him, but I discovered that he was a murderer who had bombed a city, and all the people I met tried to kill me, and…"

"Hey. I don't remember asking you to tell me about your life, vaultie."

"Oh, sorry ! It's just that I got lost. I was with someone heading to a place called New Vegas, but a big monster pulled him into a hole, then this thing attacked me. You seem nice, and I could use some help…"

"No."

“Wait. But wait !” the girl begged, following her as she went to carve the yao guai. Not the best meat, but she had just wasted five bullets for that, and the noise had either scared away the easy preys or attracted the attention of the dangerous ones.

Y/N vacillated between ignoring Lucy and threatening her, asking her to leave, but after exchanging names, the vaultie seemed to have decided that they were now best friends and should stay together.

No doubt taking her savior's silence as an invitation, she continued to talk about what had happened to her, between her meeting with a man named Maximus, and the inhumane treatment she had suffered at the hands of a mercenary.

Completely incoherent, she ended her story by explaining that she had abandoned her potential boyfriend to go on an adventure next to the guy who tortured her, with the aim of finding her dad and discovering who had destroyed the entire planet.

It was quite funny, because Lucy reminded her a bit of herself before. Y/N wondered if Cooper had seen her like that when they met, a lost and stupid thing.

At the same time, the girl's reasons for living were the same as the Ghoul. Find a family member and take revenge on Vault. Amusing. Maybe they would be very happy together.

If we forgot the fact that Lucy thought that no one should be killed, that everyone was nice, and mutual help was a fundamental notion, to start again. Ugh.

"So, some free advice, if you want to avoid having your tongue cut out, remember that it is not a good idea for a little vaultie who grew up in a palace to give big moral lessons to people who have been doing what they can to avoid dying for years, sometimes centuries."

"Why do you call me that ? You come from a vault too, right ? My pitboy picked up yours."

"Hang on. I am a victim of the cruelty of politicians and businessmen, betrayed by my own country and only alive by luck, or bad luck. You are a little vaultie. Now get away before I strangle you."

Lucy continued to follow her. And Y/N could have killed her, she really could have. This wasn't her first rodeo. She had killed a lot of people for less than that. But she didn't really want to.

Maybe she had been alone for too long. Maybe she felt sorry for this girl, like Cooper had felt sorry for her.

A deal was found. If Lucy could keep her mouth shut, then Y/N would help her find her friends so she could resume her main quest. Their paths would then part ways, and everyone would be happy.

Especially Y/N.

Because if she often talked about her dear Max, the little vaultie didn't seem so eager to find her survival partner. This was understandable, since he had tried to kill her several times, shooting her, cutting off her finger, using her as bait, and selling her.

Compared to this guy, Y/N was a saint, an angel from heaven, the perfect friend. When she offered the girl a bottle of non-irradiated water, she seemed about to ask her to marry her.

“You must be the only person in all the wastelands with good water !”

"It doesn't come cheap. But… I made a promise."

“My lovely traveling companion forced me to drink disgusting water and eat a man.”

"Charming."

Even though she seemed sweet and pure, Y/N continued to be wary of Lucy, sleeping with only one eye open and waiting for the moment when she would try to stab her in the back. First rule, don't trust anyone.

It had happened before. Never again.

Even after three years, the wound was still raw.

It was only when she saw the fear and regret in Lucy's eyes that Y/N restrained her action, yet ready to plant her blade the moment she had shown her the photo, taken out of her bag, asking her if it was her family.

Cooper hadn't been her family. He had been an asshole, who had manipulated her, who had made her believe that he loved her, and that she could love him, before abandoning her like a dog on the side of the road.

"Be careful with this Maximus. Men never change. He will take what he wants from you, and you will be hurt."

“He’s not like that.”

"I didn't think Coop was like that !" she shouted, really getting angry for the first time at Lucy, who jumped. "Yes, I loved him ! I trusted him ! It was stupid of me and I will never make that mistake again ! I hope he died in a hole, alone and in pain !"

"… Can I throw the photo away then ?"

“Give that back !” Y/N said quickly, snatching the only souvenir he had left from her hands and putting it safely in her pocket.

Lucy's sad smile indicated that she wouldn't have destroyed the photo. How sorry she was, for having gone through her things, and for having caused her pain by forcing her to talk about this man who had been so important. Also that she was happy, to see that despite her speeches, Y/N still cared for someone, even if she didn't want to.

She had never told anyone about it. It had been a long time since she had said his name, except when she woke up from a nightmare, in the middle of nowhere, calling for him like a child.

Lucy continued to smile, because for her, there must be another explanation for her precious Coop's behavior. She continued to call him Coop, even after Y/N threatened to make her eat her rotten finger.

"I know you don't like talking about him…"

“If you know that, shut up.” Y/N muttered as she continued walking towards New Vegas, trying to ignore the stream of words from the stupid vaultie, bingeing on romance novels and patriotic films.

"From the few things you agreed to share, Coop cared about you. He protected you, he taught you to defend yourself, he gave you a picture of his daughter. For me, this are proofs of love. Actions speak louder than words."

“He promised to come get me and I’m still waiting.”

"Wrong ! You left, you know how to hide perfectly, and you do everything to avoid him ! So, maybe he's been chasing you all this time and you don't know."

"What I do know is that the main clause of our deal was that you would stop talking so much, especially if it was to give such ridiculous and inappropriate advices."

They finally arrived at their destination after several weeks of walking. No sign of Lucy's friend on the way though. Perhaps he had died, or had not continued on his own.

It was clear that he wanted to use the daughter of vault 33 overseer to achieve his ends, and now that he had lost her, there was no point.

The city amazed the girl. It was the first real city she discovered, instead of those piles of ruins full of dust and vermin that were found in the four corners of the wastelands.

Her enthusiasm almost made Y/N laugh. A bit like how she had often made Cooper laugh without meaning to.

Damn, she needed to stop thinking about that bastard so often. Her mother was always saying that we manifest things through emotions and thoughts.

Her poor mother, long dead, but who had always been right.

As soon as her eyes landed on him, Y/N was crouched behind a wooden crate, watching Cooper Howard, fucking Cooper Howard, sitting near the casino, seemingly waiting for someone.

Seeing her, Lucy began to ask her what she was doing, her gaze following hers, and then the reaction was strange. Everything about this girl was strange anyway.

She started to smile.

Worse, she waved an arm at the Ghoul in greeting, opening her mouth to get his attention as she realized it wasn't enough, his cowboy hat falling over his face.

Y/N quickly grabbed her arm to pull her towards her, asking her what she was playing.

"It's the mean bounty hunter who accompanies me !" she replied happily, as if everything was normal.

For a moment, Y/N wondered if Lucy was making fun of her. If from the start, this was just a horrible joke against her, the continuation of a torture started in this seedy bar.

Then she told herself that if someone made fun of her, it was just fate.

Because she remembered that she had only described Cooper, continuing not to have any particular interest in his condition as a ghoul, and with her goodness as a jug, Lucy had not wanted to reduce him to his appearance either.

The difference was that he didn't give his name to his new pet.

“I knew you were an idiot, but not that much.”

"What ? Why ?" Lucy wondered, slightly offended and trying to free herself.

"You can't trust him. You already know that, why do you want to go back with him ? Look… I can help you find your father, okay ? Find Max. Whatever you want, but let's avoid this bastard and let's leave quickly."

"Golden rule. We said we would wait near the casino, he's there, I'm not leaving him."

With this serious look, the vault dweler would almost have looked frightening. Almost. It was mainly because it was obvious that it was impossible to reason with her that Y/N let her go, not waiting for her tirade about great friendship and the need to stay together to run as far as possible.

If Cooper noticed them, she didn't give him time to really see her, nor to catch up with her or shoot her.

Y/N didn’t turn around to check. Not because she was afraid of him chasing her. But because she was afraid that not only would he not pursue her, but she would also see him with Lucy.

Because even though he had tortured her, insulted her, threatened her… He was in front of the fucking casino waiting for this girl. And it really hurt.

I just always saw Dabi as a yandere, I mean think about it. This guy is traumatized to no end, hes clearly obsessed with revenge and seems laser focused on his goals.

So when he spotted you by yourself in a cafe he was intrigued. Everyone in there was looking at their phones except for you two. To be honest he would look at it if he had one, but lets be honest my man is fucking broke. And you, since you were focused on the paper infront of you.

Your sketch book was filled with drawings of everything you could think of, it showed which shows you watch, what your favorite flowers are, even your personal style could be found in the characters outfits. And he was so fascinated by the way you stopped caring for your surroundings and stared at the page.

He couldn’t help but follow you home. He knew he was messed up but stalking was a new level for him. But he loved watching you so much, he always imagined how things would go if he was there too, sitting on the couch watching you draw while one hand was resting on your thigh.

And then his lucky day came. You forgot your sketchbook while some random thief came into the cafe you were sitting in. Poor baby, he thought, so scared of some thief even though he could show you real power.

But now here he was holding your beloved sketchbook in his scared hands, brushing over the stickers you put on it and finally getting a look inside.

Wtf was that ?!?! Why are you drawing those awful heroes?! They are just good for nothings who wouldn’t even care for your existence!!! They are not hot !! … why is there a sketch of Shoto in it ?

I just finished watching the MHA movie with Rody in it for the first time 😭😭😭😭😭 omg at first I didn't get the Rody Deku ship but I was like literally crying during that movie gripping that couch pillow so tightly as not to scream, omg. I’m also surprised at the whole thing with Endeavor’s career being “over” and him “taking the fall for Dabi” or whatever.

Guys.

THE MAN HAS KILLED ALL FOR ONE.

He lost his dominant arm to defeat the nation’s worst villain. He’s a war veteran who saved the country. “Dabi” is old news - it’s been a while since the reveal, and the whole time, as soon as he got out of the hospital, Endeavor has been fighting. Logically, he should be at the peak of his clout! He did something even All Might was not able to do. There is no way in hell, after removing the biggest stressor in every person’s life, he would still be dragged by most people for his past behavior. Especially given that he never denied his wrongdoings and has shown remorse. To a regular person, the very sight of Endeavor should bring relief, just like the sight of All Might used to. You know the man will sacrifice a limb to save you and risk his life - because he’s done that before.

Additionally, after All for One confessed to taking Touya and messing with his body, it should be clear that he had his hand in the making of Dabi. Endeavor didn’t make his (adult) son “kill 30 innocent people” any more than Shigaraki’s dad made him ruin cities and decay heroes.

Last but not least, Endeavor is a big-time dilf.

Yes, it sounds super unserious, but think about real-life media, the public, and fame. He’s a tall, good-looking, physically fit man with a sexy job, unusual hair color and rare eye color who wears a skintight outfit and has a powerful, impressive-looking quirk. When a famous person is attractive, they get away with shit a lot more easily.

Look at real-life MHA fans: who’s simping for ReDestro? No one. Now who’s simping for Dabi? Everyone.

This really isn’t reflected well in the manga or anime, Endeavor is depicted like some scary guy people avoid, but if you look at how real people behave, that’s not realistic. There would be simps galore, apologists, fans chasing him asking for stupid shit like “please yell at me,” “I want to have your babies,” or “please set me on fire,” people flashing him their boobs, people selling and buying Endeavor body pillows, accounts with pictures of his ass, etc. All this shit would only get more intense after the defeat of AFO and would contribute to Endeavor’s public approval score.

So no, I don’t think there’s a big scandal or that it makes sense for him to retire for something other than health or personal convictions.

Like, let's dissect here. One thing is bothering me in lieu how the MHA treats redemption arcs is how the victims have no saying in the redemption of the villain(and BK let's not forget what he really is) the fandom wants to babiefied the villains without facing the real consequences.

Won't talk about PoS here. Let's talk about Shiggy.

Fandom says he is groomed by afo and so...he needs to be saved. I talked to @doodlegirl1998 about this. She proposed the idea of afo suggesting things to Shig which...yeah makes sense.

Brainwash trope: it's a trope where a character acts differently from the norm thanks to external reasons. For the trope to work we need to see how the character is before the brainwash.

What we know about Shig before being Shig.

*He is Tenko.

* He has a fluffy corgi

* His family died .

Shig fandom insists Tenko was this paragon of goodness. We are told that btw never showed. "Tenko helped those two faceless and shapeless kids. He is an angel" and the fandom nods.

What we really see of Tenko is how he was abused bc Hori really couldn't make his backstory a clichê. The SHIMURAS are dead and......no one really care. What they bring to the story?

Then afo took him in.

He didn't groomed Shig. A groomer (if we go by a non sexual way) would be all the steps of the person's life to mold....afo didn't do that. He see him give a really cruel name to Shig, see the Dr give the hands (I so think they laugh at this) and leave him alone with Kuro.

Which comes to my point .....Shig chose to continue on this path. Shig chose to attack us, to kill those heroes. It's was on him. Afo doesn't have a hold on him...Shig did himself.

And my point is, Shig can't ever get a redemption action if we don't account the victims.

How the victims and their families would feel about a Shig wanting to redeem himself?

Ok imagine that. Everyone forgive Shig...maybe they all see Baby Tenko and are. Heartbroken by his cuteness ...they forgive him as easily as some Shig simps wanted .....what this means to Shig then?

What he would do with this forgiveness? Would he try to change? Would he care? What the story would be if everyone forgive Baby Tenko?

I'm profoundly annoyed how Izu has to see the SHIMURAS being murder, how the fans will see this as "oh no. Poor Shig" (don't get me wrong ...it is horrifying as it is....silly. the entire family is dead. It's lazy) and no one will give a shit about Izu's past, just to not break a pattern. We will see the horrific scene of SHIMURAS being killed...a scene Izu will see as well....and doubt we are going to see Izu's past....and if we do see....

Do you ever feel like majority of the MHA fandom is biased towards the more attractive characters?

Like I get they are attractive, but some of them aren't perfect amazing people.

Like for example, Aizawa isn't a really good friend, like shuting down his friend after he was expressing his grief when their other friend died. But none says anything, but if it was Mic that acyed like that, everyone would not let that slide.

I don't feel like people are biased. I KNOW people are biased based on how pretty a character is and overall pretty privilege of a character.

However, this is something that happens in every fandom or well every fandom I have interacted with. Take for example attack on titan there's plenty of people who defend Eren and his actions while also simping for him (I don't like using the word but I suppose it fits the best here) or take for example domua in kny I have seen plenty of domua apologists or take toji apologist that also simp for him in the jjk fandom or dazai from bungo stray dogs.

I can list more but I think you get the jist of it.

MHA itself isnt free from this and has a lot of characters that have their actions ignored because they're pretty. Yes aizawa is one of them but you also have hawks and bakugo.

Honestly, even if I do low-key hate that there are people who view them this way I also think it's fascinating that the phenomenon of "beauty privilege" seems to transcend human interaction and can be found with people expressing bias towards certain characters.

- it started with just making a sleep page and then spread like a wildfire

- got so popular he moved on to the drama and eventual fight page that he co-runs with mina

- it got so bad that people were scared to sleep in class and fights were more frequent

- the school can't do too much about it since no one’s snitched on him yet ;)

M. YAOYOROZU — The Nice "It Girl"

- basically the smarter version of cher from clueless

- minus the terrible driving and falling in love with her stepbrother

- always smells so good and will lend you anything you ever need

- just give it back to her or she will hunt you down

- takes the prettiest notes and is the first one to have her hand raised in every class

- the president of student council for all four years

- everyone knows her but she has a small circle of friends

- don’t take her kindness for granted though or you’ll get a lot of nasty stares in the hallway

N. MONOMA — The Devil’s Advocate

- def that guy that you see across the hallway that you think is pretty

- until he opens his mouth and you realize that he has a pretty punchable face

- always starts his sentences off with, “I don't mean to be that person but…” and then goes on to say some mess

- don’t expect him to help you with anything during a group project

- but if he does, you both are gonna end up fighting more than completing the project

- always has a smirk on his face and will start arguments just because he thinks its funny

- the teachers love him yet hate him

- on one hand, he gets the class to engage in discussions, but on the other do they really want to spend their prep period dragging another student off of him?

My actual prediction for [REDACTED's] fate at the end of MHA, and just my big ol' meta on the whole situation.

Sadly, I don't think Shigaraki is coming back to life. I really fucking hope he does, but I can't believe it for two weeks and then watch it not happen, I will break . Yeah Horikoshi loves his fake out deaths... But idk, Shigaraki 's body is pretty damn gone. And he tends to pull his punches less when it comes to villains (Twice anyone?!)

I truthfully think the best chance we have of seeing him again is through One for All.

Shigaraki 100% transferred OFA back to Deku with that last bloody fist bump. That moment was a huge part of Horikoshi’s original ending with Bakugo, and I wouldn’t be surprised (or mad) if he decided to try to work it into this new version of his ending.

I think we probably will see Shigaraki again and get some more of that context and closure that we’re looking for, but it will be as a vestige within OFA. That’s my prediction, that’s the best direction that I can imagine this ending going in my little lizard writer brain. And I don’t think I’ll be mad about that. (But idk man, talk to me again in like 2 weeks lol).

I’ve always had a hard time believing that Shigaraki was going to make it out of this series alive. Of course, I’ve always wanted Horikoshi to find a clever way for him to do so without totally betraying his character -- I never believed that Shigaraki should fully join the side of the heroes. It’s just so antithetical to his mission and the message of MHA, nor could he ever just… live a normal life with every crime he committed, and him spending his life in prison would be just as miserable as him dying like this imo, no fucking freedom there. Sure, the simp in me wanted an ending where he got a redemption and life, but I certainly wasn’t optimistic. It would be a HARD fucking thing to do. I certainly don’t know how I would do it if I was in Horikoshi’s shoes, as a fellow professional writer (not just of romance either. I write and edit YA action fiction in my normie job, fun fact). I had hoped Horikoshi would figure it out, and a part of me is obviously hoping that Kurogiri managed to pull some hijinks and somehow warp him away, then he and his friends go on to live like little rats the way they have for the majority of the series, forever, buuuut-

I did always have a feeling he was probably going to go the Vader route.

Honestly, him dying beating the shit out of All for One is a pretty great exit for his character, feels more true than him sacrificing himself for the heroes’ side or humanity’s sake. It is the quickness with which this all occurred, the off-screen rescuing he had by Nana Shimura, and the lack of bodily autonomy in his death that I think is pissing people off. (It’s certainly what’s pissing me off). If we had even just gotten a moment of him having full control of his body again, looking up to the sky and seeing his friends waiting for him as he decayed away – or you know, just a death that lasted longer then two damn pages – I think the reactions wouldn’t be so visceral.

That being said. Horikoshi is a master chef, particularly when it comes to stories of recovering from trauma and getting closure, as well as tying up loose threads imo (remember when everyone though that he FORGOT the traitor plotline? Boy was that an embarrassing time for the fandom lmao),  and this man has been cooking for a while now. MHA has been the best it has ever been in this Final Saga and I don’t think he’s done with this dish just yet, nor do I think he’s done with Shigaraki. Physically? Probably. But everything that Shigaraki represents and stands for in this series, no I don’t think this is the end of that. Just because we didn’t see those moments we wanted in this last chapter, doesn’t mean we won’t see them in the next.

So as shell-shocked as I am right now to see my ultimate comfort character (who I have a tattoo of by the way lol) fade away into dust, I’m gonna trust the process and Horikoshi for now.

It ain’t over til it’s over, as it were.

Hello! Sorry I have not been posting in the last month. I had no inspiration. However, I started to watch My Hero Academia (MHA). Started to simp for a few characters, and decided to write a Bakugou x reader.

Prompt: You are sitting alone during lunch until your boyfriend ends your misery.

Warning: Swearing. It’s Bakugo. What do you expect?

As the lunch bell rang, all of he students in U.A. came to the cafeteria. As usual, some students were buying food, and some were already digging in to the food they prepared the previous day.

After you got your food, you were looking for a seat. You skipped breakfast, big mistake. The smell of lunch made your stomach rumble even more. You could not wait to finally sit down and devour your noodles. You could even say that you were drooling at that point.

Your boyfriend, Bakugo had to stay back in class to get lecture from Aizawa. Typical. You would usually find an empty seat and sit with him, but today, you had to eat without him.

You go up to classmates and ask if you could sit there, but they either pretend you’re not there, or they were too busy talking to hear you. Scratch that, they all probably ignored you.

Feeling defeated, you find an empty seat and sit down. You sighed. As much as you wanted to feel sad and get mad at your entire class, you had an entire bowl of noodles to finish. Your stomach could not take it anymore, so you started slurping down your noodles.

Even though you were slurping down noodles, you could not help but think that everyone has been avoiding you recently. Honestly, they were never your friends. You just sat there, alone, with nobody to talk to. However, that that moment of despair might have ended at that moment.

“Hey idiot, anyone sitting here?” A rash voice called out.

You looked up and saw a familiar pair of vermilion eyes.

“Nope, there is no one.” You replied.

The blonde pulled out a chair as he sat down, putting his tray on the table and started to eat.

“I thought the lecture would last longer.”

“Well, you were wrong. And why were you sitting alone? I thought you would sit with classmates.”

“They ignored me.” You said in a sad tone.

“Fuck those idiots.” He said, looking slightly pissed.

You smiled. You were lucky to have a boyfriend like him.

“I love you.” You said in a cheerful voice.

“Shut up.” He blushes a little after saying those words.

Your smile widens. You knew it was his way of saying “I love you” back.

I've seen so many messed up ships and fanfiction from MHA, I SWEAR IF I SEE DEKU X LITERALLY ANY ADULT I WILL DO A BACKFLIP OFF A CLIFF 💀 They're so unhinged and it reflects badly on the story. THE FANDOM LITERALLY HATES ON ONE ANOTHER. I've seen so many fights on wHiCh pErSon ShOuLd DeKu EnD uP wItH I'm so over it 😭 Also you get all the cringy cosplayers and pov videos from this fandom in particular. I have never seen a normal MHA fan apart from myself.

Generally okay, except for the SPOILERS. This fandom spoils so much, and without warning as well. But generally a pretty good fandom, just avoid the sibling shippers and Douma simps. Everyone is pretty tame tho, and generally polite. Everyone learnt how to be kind after having Tanjiro as the MC 😌

Attack on Titan

I SAID DEMON SLAYER SPOILS BUT THIS FANDOM IS ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. It's like this fandom's goal is to spoil all the new readers/watchers as soon as the Google aot 💀 AND YOU ARGUE SO MUCH. Post a theory? Instantly get hurled abuse. Post eremika fanart? Instantly gets abused and attacked. YOU CAN'T TAKE A BREAK. But I do treasure the people who are just trying to survive the ending, they're the real ones 🤌

I LOVE THIS FANDOM. One of my favourite fandoms, y'all have the most unhinged humour and posts the goofiest shit but I'm so here for it. Fandom mainly consists of simps and psychopaths, but YOU'RE SO FUNNY. Again, you get spoils like all the other fandoms, but this is one of my fav fandoms, dark humour is where it's at 😃🤟
