its a super powered world bc of course it is. takes place in the fictional city of perenburn, usa! youve got heroes and villains and the weird in between people

the main chars so far are

azazel cantor, local ghost vigilante dubbed specter who channels his inner child every day by pranking people

lex wisther, local cafe owner who can see the emotions & intentions of other people through ribbons and has two yoinger twin brothers who are hero & villain archnemesises(?)

noxurous, local enby amnesiac villain with shadow powers who may or may not have a thing for lex (and vice versa >:))

and marissa villaneuva, local demon villain dubbef purgatory who i havent fleshed out but she does crime because shes lowkey depressed (im still working jt out yall)

i would yap abt the plot but that seems like spoiler territory but it will unfortunately revolve around lex & nox eventually. still working on ship names rn. i think shadowmilk would be really funny considering thats a crk char (shadowmilk cookie my beloved & beloathed) but also. shadow = nox bc shadow powers. milk = lex bc he works at a cafe. yk.

theres also like. lexurous but thats boring tbh

Remember guys if someone block evades you are able to report them. Its against the rules!

Seriously it's so important to first of all report & tell the toyhouse mod their block evading, even if your report does nothing the mod will eventually realise "oh this isn't just a one time thing, this is constant" and actually do something.

If you cant follow the simple sites rules about "hey dont go through all this effort to block evade. Your account may be suspended " and you still do it then you shouldn't be on the site. Not asking people to mass report since i don't agree with mass reporting but if it personally happens to you then you should definitely report it if you're uncomfortable.

OCtober 2024 ⭐ Day 4: Under-Appreciated OC

The first OC that comes to mind for this prompt is Juno, because she's supposed to be the main character, but I feel like she isn't as fleshed out as her friends. character traits that she has that i love:

does not give up, she will wear herself down to the point of exhaustion first

complex about trying to save/help as many people as possible, gets sad if she can't save someone

knows martial arts

she acts more chill and good-natured than Steve and Tora, who are really petty.

basically the caretaker of her friends, they go to her for advice, and she has to remind them to not do stupid shit.

usually shes the only sane man. but occasionally acts deranged. examples:

crazy determination, as previously stated

represses so much shit, to focus on fighting for the greater good

lowkey kind of a gun nut

every once in a while, the tables turn, and she does some stupid shit herself. and her friends have to step in for her. because thats what she did for them

attracted to stupid people

part of her arc is figuring out that her current boyfriend isn't right for her, and breaking up, and then getting a girlfriend.

so. much. angst.

i want her to be able to relax in the post canon. actually i want everyone to relax post canon. i think after you save an alternate version of earth, u should get paid at least enough to retire forever. i want them to be happy

also, if possible, id like to flesh out "Dale" more, and give him a different name. i want to also flesh out the other minor characters in hexagon. so far Dr. Moss, Terry, and Charlie all have their own toyhouse pages, but i have other vague ideas for background characters that i wanna make more concrete eventually.

anyway outside of hexagon, some other characters that should probably get fleshed out more:

Petra - shes part of her own fantasy world that i made ages ago but mostly forgot about

space robots - i love these guys so much!!! i feel like i should make a secret third space robot, like a dog that represents twilight

literally every other character in the untitled robot game (i ran out of character ideas)

since the alien cats are loosely based off of scientology lore. i think it would also be funny to base some of the robots off of lesswrong and e/acc ideas. im sorry, but cults have the best scifi worldbuilding.

ok but this is a bit of a random tangent but: scientology lore, especially the Xenu story, talks about powerful alien organizations that use psychological manipulation to oppress people. the church of scientology portrays itself as being the opposite of these organizations, but someone who is anti-scientology could also write about these organizations to make them allegories for the church. on a similar note you could also use the paperclip maximizer as a metaphor for big tech corporations that waste resources and hurt the environment. or use the ai box thought experiment as a metaphor for charismatic cult leaders.

also since my MCs are based off of vocaloids. i do plan to use vocaloid characters as inspo for some of the other characters, but not completely.

OCtober 2024 Day 3: Old OC

technically i don't know who my oldest oc is, because ive literally been making up little guys in my head ever since I was capable of forming memories. but heres some honorable mentions:

when i was in ~5th grade i was obsessed with dragons, so i bugged my mom to sew me a dragon hoodie for halloween, and she did, and i had lots of fun. the dragon hoodie was so cool that in my head, i invented a story about girls wearing magical dragon & unicorn pajamas that turned them into those creatures in another world or something, i forget most of the details tho.

one time i was walking around the playground and talking to myself. and i came up with a story about dragon people living in this isolated town where nobody was allowed to leave. the town was ruled by this dragon named "Firelord" and it was surrounded by this huge ring of fire. some dragon kids escaped though, to figure out what was actually going on.

it turned out that Firelord was one of four quadruplets with magical powers, they were Earthlord, Waterlord, Firelord, and Airlord. but they had an evil younger brother named Hypnolord, who wanted to take over the world, and had everyone trapped in his evil skyscraper prison. So Firelord made the town where nobody is allowed to leave, to protect everybody. fortunately the dragon kids defeated Hypnolord, and saved the day.

i was really into legos and dragons. so for my birthday my mom went on ebay and bought a bunch of the baby norbert lego figure in different colors. while listening to music i imagined them in music videos in my head, eventually each figure had like. its own personality.

also when lego elves came out, i bought all of the lego elves dragon sets. and each of those baby dragons also got their own personality too.

I had this oc Max, who was a stupid teenage boy, and his little sister Megan was like this child genius. originally Max was supposed to be super depressed and edgy, but eventually evolved to be totally different.

Max and Meg weren't actually related. they were adopted by a talking cat that was their dad. the cat was british

also sometimes Megan had this other friend who was a child serial killer. she had the same black hat as that one xkcd character that has that hat, becuase theyre both eeeeevil.

i drew so much fanart of them, i cringe to remember what my art style was like then

currently, no! but i do plan on making a comic about them eventually, and i'd like to get it started this year (it will be called verdant ventures!). it will most likely be in the visual format of these, which i made specifically with VV in mind. verdant ventures, in comic format, will be a comedy slice-of-life where most pages won't be entirely connected, but i'll dip into multi-page stuff whenever i feel like it, & will have little bits of story stuff sprinkled in. i do comedy and SoL first and foremost, but character interaction & exploration of serious subjects are both incredibly important to me, so those will show up too :-] the MCs of the comic/story are my cacturne & breloom & nuzleaf, who are brothers (not by blood but should only be seen as such). i lurve them

my pmd ocs can all be seen in my toyhouse folder, but the bios i gave for my main guys are extremely old and outdated (i just can't be bothered to wipe them). i've only recently been posting about them on tumblr in regards to crossposting on twitter! but i ramble more about them in the tags here haha.

i write a lot about them, but not usually in any cohesive way. i did write a vague this-is-how-this-would-happen for one event between my guys, though, that i haven't uploaded in full anywhere (i did consider doing it today, actually!)

Blog/OC story intro

This blog is focusing on the characters Wesley Burchell and Aurelius (Ari) Stevens, and some other characters in their universe.

I'll specifically be focusing on Wesley a lot, since i want this story to be told mostly from his point of view. it should be noted that anything written in his pov can not be taken as fully accurate 100% of the time. he's an unreliable narrator, sometimes his view of things can be warped. if you ever want to ask me about any details, feel free. i may be able to clarify and add some things to help add more context from an outside perspective, unless its something i want to keep a mystery of course.

anything written/said in AMA answers and other things like that by me as the author will be in this color of text. anything by Wesley will be in blue text, anything by Ari will be in yellow text, anything by background characters will be in purple text.

i categorize different sections of specifically Wesleys life in "Eras". at the moment, Era 1, Era 2, and Era 3, starting when Wesley first moves to America. anything before that is BE1, "Before Era 1", and anything after Era 3 has been undecided yet, since im not exactly that far into the complete story yet.

I have no intention of this story ever being anything too too serious. this blog is really just for my own enjoyment and for sharing my characters backstory with my friends and mutuals.

if you have any questions you want to ask specifically to an oc instead of me as the author, feel free to do so. (its funny it makes me giggle)

Sistem and Systa were known as the Stylist Sisters and they did like fashion and shows and shit. Both have a painfully high ego that they kind of Don’t like each other due to constant jealousy and competition

Eventually Systa does some grand thing (I haven’t decided what yet) that makes them blow up in popularity and Sistem absolutely Loses her mind about it and actively tries to Kill Them

Systa eventually ‘disappears’ and is assumed Dead by circumstances, but in secret, they gave themself a whole new makeover and is now Nara, who is the narrator of the Storyteller Trio

At some point however, Sistem Does figure out who Nara, due to him continuing to be painfully egotistical after all this time, stalks him and eventually jams his system and his mute button, locked him in a room and then stole his identity

And since they’re almost identical in personality, Nobody noticed a Thing. Only reason she got sussed out was because Nara ACTUALLY pays his coworkers, and Sistem was so convinced he was enslaving them and so she had no good excuse to leave them unpaid

Her mere existence happened because All Eyes On Me by Or3o is a banger

you probably already saw this from the asks going around, but i love this headcanon so much.

i think touch is deeply meaningful for tenno since they can initiate transference with it, like how our touch reactivates our warframe in second dream and gives us glimpses of umbra's past. If they're conscious of it, they can but up a mental block, but if they aren't prepared they can kind of psychic blast each other with a mess of thoughts and memories. Sharing thoughts this way is a sign of deep trust between tenno and it's easiest to do it with the right hand.

this also connects to a sub-headcanon that that is why none of the handshake emotes actually do a real handshake (i know one of them they grab left hands, but their right hands only lightly touch so it still works) bc it's just easier for them to avoid touching palms than to block out the other's mind and hold their own back.

i also love connections between warframes so i think limbo and octavia are friends with their shared performer aspect. I also think vauban and sevagoth are friends bc that quest just hit me so hard, i wrote him into my operator's lore ;-;

my operator's name is Tamarisk, Tam for short.

He was one of the older kids on the Zariman and after being rescued he was eventually paired with the original Vauban. he and vauban share his headspace and prior to second dream he would occasionally have memories from the front lines. Tam prefers to act through vauban and tends to let him take the reigns for things if he's in a bad headspace. vauban can only do this if transference is active though.

I hc vauban as being, like, a field general in the old war bc of the bit abt him being a tactician. so he was near the front a lot and this is where he met sevagoth. I haven't decided on his background before becoming a warframe. Vauban protected him and eased the anxiety he developed being separated from the Void.

it's kind of hard to talk abt him bc i don't know how to really structure it, but his toyhouse page has more + a few stories for his lore. it focuses on drifter more, but This story is where i developed the touch hc if you're interested.

Hey there! Thank you and I could say the same to you! It's always nice to meet more furs here on Tumblr. I used to follow a bunch myself but most of them seem to have largely left the site unfortunately :/ That being said, I do have an art tag! Up to now I haven't posted much of my art to Tumblr but if that's your preference, you can find any art I do post here under my dog draws tag. Currently it's only got the one post, but I'm hoping to post more of my art here in future! Other than that? I post the majority of my art to my Toyhouse (that link should take you directly to my gallery there since I know the site is weird to navigate) and my Furaffinity nowadays. I try to consistently post my art to both but admittedly I'm not too active on the latter. As for my writing? Unlike art, writing only recently became something I'd consider as an outright hobby so comparatively I don't have a whole lot to show for it publically. However, I would like that to change. I've been trying to figure out a good place to post my writing, but most of the sites I know of that allow for written works are predominantly for fanfiction (which I did used to write and I am considering getting back into writing but it's not a priority right now) so I'm not too sure what to do there. I actually very recently made a writing blog here on Tumblr to potentially test the waters on that so I may be posting some of my writing there eventually? Jury's still out on that as of right now but we'll see how that goes if I do end up going down that route. Your best bet outside of that if you'd like to see some of my writing would be to check out my different characters on Toyhouse. You can see little glimpses of my writing there in the form of the character profiles I've written up there, but that's as much as I can offer right now I'm afraid so I am sorry about that! I guess we’ve been long overdue for an updates post yeah? Last one I made was legit Nov 2021... I think I should at least leave another update post before seeing if I’m still around or end up vanishing yet again, lmfao But regardless, getting to the point...

Tossing shit under a read more just so that in case of a lengthy ass post it doesn’t clog people’s dashboards (dashboards? timelines? ...I’ve been mostly on twitter lmao so). TL;DR, life’s come swinging hard at me so it’s kept all of my focus mostly on personal matters, less on art, even with still creating things in the distance despite taking a lengthy hiatus (that’s arguably still ongoing? a semi hiatus now perhaps) so.

So I mean, for starters its kinda. Obvious that I’ve been more active on other social media sites rather than here, & tbh whether I really stick around here for long or end up disappearing back into the depths once more for whatever unforeseen reason is yet to be seen, especially since I only really use this place on occasion (for my mental health’s sake, mostly, whether that’ll change over time or will always remain in this “appears only occasionally” cycle is something we’ve yet to see, but for now... just don’t count on me really being consistently active here)

But even with being more active on other places I’ve still taken a semi-hiatus/hiatus, with a major part of that being attributed to uh. Health issues coming back with a vengeance & tryna crush me lol. I mean that’s, kinda par for the course with chronic illness I guess? But it’s put a heavy emphasis on me having to look after myself even moreso than before, & this amidst still processing some really heavy shit I mentioned in my last update that I won’t get into (bc it’s both deeply personal & very trigger heavy), on top of other things life keeps throwing at me (because of course it would), well I’ve just taken priority on taking care of that & making sure I’m fine &... thus not really being too present on here or anywhere really. Sometimes showing up on occasions because I engage with astrology related communities (since I’m learning more on that & other personal practices I won’t bore y’all with), sometimes showing up to support other artists, but yeah.

I do admit tho I’ve still been creating stuff in the background. Be it practicing with stuff art wise or working on other personal OC stuff or projects, I’ve had that still, & its one of the things that helps keep me afloat whilst also navigating, well, life itself. It’s admittedly been difficult navigating shit also tho because due to my health situation, I can’t really do comms (& I’ve been on break from them due to burnout), so income’s been... troublesome to say the least considering medical bills & all that. So trying to find ways to get that & sometimes getting help from others has been another thing that’s kept me away, but yeah.

Ultimately tl;dr of it is that I’ve just had life itself as a priority above all other things. & it’s bound to stay that way for a while, so yeah. But I still do want to see if, on occasions I’m on here posting art, I can maybe share some stuff around the OCs I’ve worked on/created/etc, as well as maybe lore for personal worldbuilding stuff?

I mean I need to share it on my toyhouse eventually anyway LOL, & AT LEAST on here I can make posts about OCs without being constrained to a fucking 280 char limit per post if I opt to do so 💀 Or see what else I choose to share as well as the art I make from time to time? Especially since I’ve been majorly revamping my own OCs & even with my sona I’ll soon be showcasing their proper ref in full with all forms of them/versions of em, both in & out of fandom but. yeah. Things to come.

Also- do expect more of this acct to start turning more OC focused or, IF I share fancharacters, its more centered around them... It doesn’t mean I’ll stop doing fanart no, since I do enjoy doing that on my spare time too, BUT I want my focus shifted primarily on OC content more since that’s my own personal passion anyway (be it OCs, fancharacters, self ship stuff too, or other’s OCs also) & cause I usually have more to ramble on about when it comes to OCs? So yeah. I plan to also implement other changes later into this acct but I’m presently just figuring that mess out while still being on semi-hiatus so yeah.

I hope all of y’all have been doing well & I do appreciate those who’ve stuck around still despite my routine appearing & disappearing bs lmao, & I wish y’all well also
