aguri’s, lala’s, emiru and ruru’s dual henshin, and the gopri ones (i can’t pick just one sequence)

really, any of them! but if i had to choose... i’d say either crystals (because it looks pretty and goes with my outfit), fire (THE ARSON JOKES), or stars (i just fucking love stars).  If you mean as in attack types... i’d like one of my attacks to be something that can reflect the enemy’s attack back at them. Preferably, in a way I can customize to look like an Uno reverse card. 

TBH, probably the one from PMMM. But the suite and go princess precure openings are a close second. 

Glitter Force. Yeah, that’s how I discovered precure. Through that dub. I went months before seeing smile precure and when I did, it was like upgrading from lite to premium.  (i feel as if i must mention i haven’t seen every episode of the original. I watched the ones the dub cut out first, then i rewatched my favourite ones and the highlights and the ones with Joker in them in general, and then i went right to dokidoki. I figured since there’s so much filler and I’ve basically seen almost all of it anyways, if a watered-down version, I didn’t need to watch the whole thing.) 

Oh, you know this. *dramatically sings something from the PMMM soundtrack* The Madoka Magica soundtrack is absolute god tier music. 

My self indulgent daydreams but with a coherent plot line. 

A magic cat!  (sometimes when i imagine myself as a magical girl, i imagine my real life cat as my familiar. She gains the ability to talk and reveals she’s involved in magic. Hey, this could be the start of a magical girl series... the girl’s cat accidentally reveals she’s more than meets the eye...)

Sailor Moon SuperS episode 16 (143) was pretty good. Another Fish-eye episode, this time where he goes after a little boy that has a crush on Chibiusa. Kinda fucky, but the boy’s not interested and manages to reject Fish-eye’s attempts with only the 1 2 3 beautiful dream sequence as consequence. Also the Remless this time is a pegasus that’s trying to frame the actual Pegasus, so when Pegasus is later called to help out but can’t give Sailor Moon power thanks to a barrier (why can’t she just do her other moves by the way? Moon Tiara Action at least like come on), the rest of the Sailor Soldiers don’t immediately trust him when he says he can make them Super Sailor Soldiers too. Oh yeah, that happens and I fucking popped off! Episode titles of this show spoil stuff so when I saw the title card I was super hyped, and like god damn am I happy to finally see this one happen. Their henshin sticks all get transformed and have a cool guard and stuff, and their actual designs uh, barely change. They’ve got those longer bows on the back, big stars on the collar things, and the shoulder thingies are that see-through 3-tier thing Usagi’s got going on. You know what it’s not much but it’s something new and moreover, it’s literally a power up, and if it means that the girls outside of Usagi and Chibiusa can do anything more, I’ll take it. They don’t get any new moves but hopefully we will see more? I do like the current ones but we’ve had them since R, maybe give everyone a chance to step it up, you know? So a decent episode, mostly exciting because of the power-ups. 

Next is episode 17 (144) which is another much appreciated case of an “I FUCKING LOVE AMI MIZUNO!” episode. This episode is SuperS’ beach episode, and it’s a proper beach episode unlike in S, so already that’s great, and in it, the Amazon Trio are all at the beach, Tigers-eye being the one doing the work though, namely targeting Ami. Ami rejects his advances because she doesn’t know him at all, (also when he sees Minako he’s all “that two-timer again!” which is a funny piece of continuity”) which leads to some discussions between her and the rest about love. See Ami, like the rest, is actually waiting for “the one”, though since she wants it to be important and stuff she doesn’t feel comfortable just chasing after any rando that comes her way. And see this episode also has Shingo in it, who’s very clearly and understandably hardcore crushing on Ami, and since he’s her friend anyway she’s happy to like, go out to see on a little blow-up raft with him, and he actually talks about how he thought her dream was to be a doctor, but she mentions how she has more than one dream! That’s super great because like that episode in S where she’s worried about her studies being all there is to her? Yeah this is her after that having more than just her studies (I mean she always did but now she knows for herself) and fuck that’s actual character growth for my best girl, I’m so super happy with that. Also Tigers-eye attacks them at sea so Ami gets to do some mouth-to-mouth CPR to save Shingo, which was nice of her I suppose, she does want to be a doctor after all lowkey I’m jealous. Ngl I did expect Ami to get a new move this episode since, you know, it’s an Ami episode immediately following an episode where they all got new transformations, but an episode where she just stays Ami the entire time and just has nice character moments and developments, she doesn’t need to be Sailor Mercury, I like that just as much. Wouldn’t call it my favourite Ami episode but it’s up there, and it’s easily my favourite episode of SuperS so far. Also Tigers-eye says this about Ami:

And oooooh that got me mad. Obviously it’s up to whoever’s subbing this to decide on what he says here but that’s a terrible thing to say about Ami. Not that it’s out of character for him or I’m complaining at all, I love the line specifically because it got an emotional reaction out of me - namely hatred that my best girl got insulted. What a great episode.

Last for today was episode 18 (145) which was your extremely typical SuperS episode. Usagi and Chibiusa are the only heroes, it’s another Fish-eye episode at least, and the only thing really setting it apart is that the exchange with the Remless is fairly lengthy and comedic, being full of banter both between Chibiusa and Usagi and back and forth between those two and the Remless, which like, yeah that was fun, but the episode leaves me with little else to say. Not the strongest note to end today’s episodes on but like, of all the SuperS episodes that are just this, it’s one of the better ones at least.
