caving and making this about sylus... i can't tell what i want more, me as the mysterious guest or him. like the alluring eyes seen through ornate masks??? okay i've decided, uhhhhh welcome to delulu koi's mind (i am too down bad for him it's so sad):

-> i think sylus and i have met before, most likely through mutuals. he catches my eye definitely. i mean looking like that? there's no way i can miss it. and i like to think that he's a little intrigued too. he's also most definitely higher than me in terms of ranks in nobility. maybe like duke-earl area and i'm around a baroness sort of title. (how i manage to find mutuals friends with someone so high up idek lol) but i extend invitations for a party i'm throwing (let's say my bday party because nobles love their bday parties i think) and i don't hear anything from him so i assume he's not coming. day of the party rolls around and i'm wearing like a deep red gown and matching mask and he arrives, fashionably late, in red as well. there's theories of us planning this out, for appearances and such, but it's purely coincidence. he arrives, jacket draped over his shoulders and he finds me. takes my gloved hand and raising it to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss on my knuckles as he wishes me a happy birthday.

-> it's my own party so ofc i have to ditch it, escaping to the balcony looking out at the night sky, admiring the moon. and like i hear steps behind me so i turn around, not expecting to see him (THIS IS READING LIKE WATTPAD I'M SORRY PLEASE BEAR WITH ME T-T) but he's there, a little surprised to see me too. we exchange our 'what are you doing here?'s and discover that the party scene isn't really for us, at least not for that long. very cliche i know but i love it. and it's really awkward after that. i'm shuffling my feet together, trying to figure out if there's something else i was supposed to say, but he settles beside me, arms resting on the railing, and he's just getting some fresh air. he takes off the mask because it's a little irritating on the skin lowkey and i'm so shocked like sir what are you doing (and because he is so so pretty and hot up close) and he just chuckles like 'what? do i have something on my face?' (i would absolutely kiss him silly if we were on closer terms........)
