Okay so my thoughts because there really wasn't much Rio Agatha backstory explained and I'm wondering about the kiss. Because it seems to be some kind of kiss of death situation. So my question is now. Was that their very first kiss? Or. OR!!! Does Rio mean by "speacial treatment" that every time they kissed, Agatha should have died but Rio couldn't bring herself to take her so she spared her??? I'm not fully sure if that makes sense but I'm just wondering what this kiss means for them. Because again we don't actually get to see the parts of their backstory that doesn't involve Nicky
#agatha all along#like#i'm just a little disappointed because#i really wamted to know their backstory#like how they met how they fell in love#because the earliest moment we see of them is agatha already calling rio 'my love'#and i wish we could have gotten more of an explanation#or a kiss in the past???#and that's why i'm wondering if they ever have kissed#but from what we got in episode four it seems like they did#so did rio really spare agatha Every Time they kissed?#because that would truely be special treatment#lea's random thoughts#agatha harkness#rio vidal#agathario#agatha x rio#rio x agatha#agatha all along spoilers#agatha spoilers#aaa spoilers#many thoughts right now

CW Gore, and suicide depicted
Ive been updating my gore skills, because i do actually like expressing myself. I will post more, dip if you want, skip if you wamt, or not, whatever makes you comfortable!
A dramatically depicted Ire when he got his scar (non cannon)
Anyway, canonical femur backstory moment. So if you're out of the loop, femur shot himself in his backstory, and this is the depiction. I haven't actually practiced extreme gore so i feel like it's good for a first time, and also i didn't really know how to draw a fractured skill like that. (Reminder that femur is based of of MY life, i am not glorifying suicide.)

I am really really interested in Jeanne's backstory and i really hope i don't have to wait too long to delve further into it. I'm pretty sure i've got her overall character figured out, between th way she and Vanitas interact, i just wanna know th details.
Like, i get that she isn't telling anyone about her being a curse-bearer for the obvious reasons of not wanting to die so she can protect Luca, but she's also not wanting to ask Vanitas for help and i wanna know if it's just because she doesn't trust him yet or if she sees being a curse-bearer as some sort of self-imposed punishment for her past?
I also feel really bad for Vanitas, because he is obviously trying to help but it's in such a self-distructive way, y'know? Like, "i'll be th one to save you even if i have to be your villain, because i also have some self-imposed punishment to deal with". And yes, i get that he's like that with everyone, but it's still super heartbreaking to see it so plainly with Jeanne, especially because he is making himself seem like a creepy, selfish asshole (i mean, he is a selfish asshole, but i also definitely see that he's playing up th creepy aspect).
I also wamt to add that i really like how well th author writes the more subtle aspects of Vanitas' character. I remember part of th reason i fell off th manga was because Vanitas's interactions with Jeanne icked me out so much, but also just Vanitas's interactions with everyone icked me out. But i think watching th anime now, a few years later and with a little bit more emotional knowledge, i can see a little bit of th "true" intentions behind the way he interacts with Jeanne.
It's a little bit more obvious seeing it the second time that sure he is interested in her in a weird way, kind of like Jeanne is a puzzle to him, but he also sees a patient who is refusing treatment for some reason. He knows right from th get go that she's a curse-bearer - and, since his whole schtick is fixing curse-bearers of course he's going to make up some bs about being in love with her so he can use it as an excuse to keep closer tabs on her. Even later, when he says that he'll keep her secret on the condition that she only drinks his blood - it's presented as this vaguely sexual, Vanitas just being horny on main thing, but he's really doing it so she doesn't accidentally slip up and attack someone, thus being outed as a curse-bearer and then probably killed for it. If she's only drinking his blood, no one else is getting hurt. Sure he might die, but Vanitas doesn't actually seem to care if he lives or not? And this way, he might be able to get close enough to convince her to let him cure her, which is ultimately what he seems to want.
Anyway, just my personal thoughts i wanted to put down somewhere :v
