i rmr when all the initial meta around endgame was coming out people were talking about steve being depressed and whatnot and it's like well yeah but he's BEEN depressed, like he woke up alone in this century and he kept going, now i can understand it being worse this time after finding a family and getting bucky back and losing them all except of course that's not why endgame steve was on about so like......the people writing meta were trying to connect these things that of course weren't really there on screen because that simply wasn't our steve

but i think it really could've been SO interesting to see this is the thing that finally makes steve stay down like he's lost so much and he just CAN'T keep fighting like i get some people think that's what they were going for but considering the ending......it's really not. and so i'm just thinking about a version after iw, maybe he gets some of the thor treatment except not turning his depression into a dumb fatphobic joke lol and maybe nat and others are trying to get through to him and it just doesn't work and then we get some flashbacks (which you could have done for all the original avengers actually which would be particularly important for bruce and nat and clint who did not have their own trilogies) including his mom telling him "you always stand up" and THAT being the thing to finally get him moving like it would've been such a perfect way to finally show sarah rogers some respect and ACTUALLY show steve really struggling instead of whatever they tried to do with him in that movie

had talia not been character assassinated do you think she and bruce should have gotten back together?

no. i hate to use the word "phase" bc that would seem to diminish the importance of what's between them, which is something that will always persist esp as their continued dedication to the same causes and their respect for each other remains. but i do think realistically bruce should be a phase in talia's life. at least in terms of consummated romances specifically. i do love the idea of them remaining allies, close friends, and co-parents, but i think allowing talia to walk away from ra's and bruce in the first place has to stand for something in the long term. before talia went her own way i think it was easier to imagine a potential future where she ended up with bruce bc it felt like the desirable option. she was in this very debilitating position where she had little to no freedom to act on her own desires and goals, the embodiment of which was none other than bruce. so when you frame her situation pre-tower of babel, obv wanting to be with bruce was appealing. he was as much the love of her life as he was a means of escape and freedom and talia having the scope to then act on her own desires. i think that's what subsequently makes dc #750 (or is it #570. i never get the numbers straight and i'm too lazy to check) a really clever issue, actually, bc it acknowledges that and the fact that bruce once again setting her free bc of his love for her actually gives her the courage to step out on her own where she never has before. the fact that she has the option to go back to gotham with bruce and presumably have everything she's ever wanted with him, but she leaves it anyway, is a really huge deal. it's a statement. she loves him, but not more than she loves herself. and sure, what talia puts herself through during lex corp era certainly begs the question of whether her version of loving herself is really viable or in any way healthy, and i would love to see bruce help her recognize that she's not alone and that she doesn't have to do it alone to prove that she's capable. all of this i agree with. but i don't think that really means she and bruce have to fall back on their once-imagined dream of playing house. even if talia did find methods of going about her work that were mentally healthier i don't really know what'd be in it for her to play house with bruce in gotham. bc that is what it would have to be, for their relationship to work in any way. bruce will never leave gotham and son of the demon didn't need to explore that issue bc it was never going to get there but trust that corny as the line about naming the baby thomas or martha was it was reflective of a reality: gotham is bruce's entire life. no matter where he goes, no matter what he does, no matter who he works with, in the end he will always belong to gotham. and i simply do not think that would ever work for talia bc there is so much more she is capable of. while her vision is aligned with bruce's her scope of access and ability is entirely distinct of his own and there is so much more that she can do aside from relegate herself to gotham (hence why lex corp as an arc makes so much sense, bc it capitalizes on that scope). and yeah every superhero couple is kinda crazy and they have teleportation and shit but idk i don't think it's really a relationship for each party to go on long missions with ill-defined parameters that give them the worst sleep schedules known to man and occasionally they share a bed. it really isn't. and that's something that bruce and talia have to live with. their duty is always going to come first even though they both have a passion for civilian life. for talia to be in a relationship again she would have to stop having the liberty of being able to go wherever the work carries her and for bruce to be in a relationship again he would have to have the equivalent of a robin-wife. neither of these things is ever going to happen. so

For the reading, to be honest i didn’t finish studying JK’s chart, from what I see, he can be willing to try those stuff but you all need to remember we don’t know jungkook personally, it’s an analysis, so we like to say the two sides of a coin if you know what I mean.

But in the end, I don’t think he does it often or is really into it. I know a guy who has Pisces Venus (and other stuff in his chart) and he really enjoys not being in a relationship and fwb stuff. He is very much into competition, Scorpio has a lot of influence on him. He is very freaky and wants to experience many things. And loves to flirt.

2. Shy, introvert, responsible. Doesn’t let a lot of people in his life, personally. Don’t like to go out too much. In love with love.

He just has so much tricky placements. Some people mostly remember the « clean » part of him and others see a freaky man mostly. Let’s not forget we don’t know jk personally and it’s all about interpretation. And mostly for fun!

i feel bad for jungkook because he’s always doubting himself and i know he wants to converse with others and have relations with them that are friendly and close bonded but he’s just so used to living his life a certain way that it’s hard to leave that bubble or comfort. not to mention, the way people perceive him further adds on to him staying in his bubble and i relate to him so much. we both don’t like to leave our comfort zones because that’s just what’s normal for us and that itself also causes people to judge us and not approach us. there might have been something that caused us to be that way whether it’s feeling neglected or not being accepted for who you are, etc.

and then there are people like oc who are similar to us in the sense they have a hard time letting people in, but the difference is they can easily converse with others if they want to which can help them make good relationships with others.

i hope that made sense haha but ultimately what i’m trying to say is that people’s perception about us makes us stray further away from others in general. it doesn’t necessarily mean we care what others think about us but more so we feel insecure or not confident in ourselves because we aren’t likable enough as others. i really love that this is a huge topic in the iwyts storyline and it really hits me hard (as does all of your stories and their deep topics :)

YES, anon YES, you’re making perfect sense and I loooove that that’s what you’re taking from it bc that’s how I envisioned this JK to be.

He’s not intentionally rude; he just has his own ways of dealing with things that aren’t always considerate. He lives in his head a lot and prefers to be alone bc there’s comfort and safety in that. He knows what people think of him, he doesn’t fully disagree but he won’t admit that it affects him alot, which also causes him to keep his distance bc he thinks that it’s just better if he’s not around (case in point, lunch with his team). We see from OC’s and yoongi’s perspectives that JK finds it difficult to connect with people bc he’s guarded and doesn’t think much of himself outside of work (which is why he pours his all into it bc he thinks it’s all he can over others, which is also why the Arts Center is so impt to him bc connection and beauty and intimacy are things he doesn’t think he can give). He did go through stuff and we’ll learn about them later on.

And then there’s OC who’s similar; they’re different sides of the same spectrum. She’s just as guarded, and we’ll learn soon enough that how she’s perceived affects how she sees herself as well. She’s got her own fears that keep her at a distance but she allows herself the joy of other people’s presence, which is also bc people aka her best friends made sure she didn’t isolate herself. People tried and she let them. Some of them, at least. So we see how these different self-perceptions and approaches to relationships complement and contrast each other.

It seems true since the writers essentially said it. I’m ready for that tbh; I want the full backstory on what happened with Joyce there and how this piece of garbage got into her life (I know the idea is he presented as something else which is why the town seems to love him even though he’s hideous and abusive).

But. While it makes sense for some of this backstory to get into a 1959-1960 or whatever prequel play; are they really not going to use what Lonnie did to the family in s5??? Bc it all is impt Vecna material to Joyce, Will, and Jonathan.

It does also make me wonder if Joyce can have the clue/insight for getting at and defeating Vecna since she knows him and he targeted her son.

i told myself i didn't want to spend another year having to pour out the love and anger and hurt from tyler but lately a couple things have been ringing in my head and won't let go so let me write this out to exorcise it

the first is him telling me "we were never going to work out" after the lawyer's office - the rage i felt when he said that was incandescent. it felt like a huge fuck you after all the effort i put in the relationship which had always felt one-sided to me; this statement made that feel even more real. one of our biggest issues was lack of communication and consistency from him - i hated when he ran away and ghosted me in lieu of actually talking shit out and i hated when he wouldnt tell me his real feelings even when it was glaringly obvious he was mad at me. i thought those were rookie r/ship issues that would get better with time bc it was obvious he had legacy r/ship issues he hadn't healed from but i didnt rly care bc it wasn't like i had zero baggage either, i was happy to be there and work it out with him. i also rly hated that he didn't plan for our dates/impt celebrations and it was always me coming up with things 2 do even after i told him multiple times it was important to me. it's actually whack that when i told him that, he said, "yes but i come for every date even though I'm tired from work" and he made me feel so bad about it - i rly dk why I thought that was something acceptable!!!! B said tylr was just emotionally dense and tylr did tell me that he was trying the hardest he'd ever tried so i just thought he didn't kno how 2b a good boyfriend but that it would work out bc at least he said he was trying. anw it clearly didnt work out so i should've gone with my gut and dipped instead of fruitlessly following my heart or believing in the best of him. this also felt like him minimizing what I do/feel again so i guess that's why it was so triggering - the fact that he reduced his infidelity and betrayal of trust to "I should've shown more care to you in ur vulnerable moments" literally what the actual fuck. how do u minimize talking shit abt ur pregnant girlfriend, revealing her secrets to ur friends, making fun of her with rbkh and checking out s*x workers at massage parlors to "i should've shown more care" - is basic empathy out of ur wheelhouse

"we were never going to work out" is such a defeatist statement and it rly hurt bc it felt like everything i did ultimately didn't matter because he had already made up his mind that we weren't going to last. it explains why he betrayed my vulnerabilities and secrets and spoke badly about me behind my back to his friends though - in his mind, i was never end game so what did a little mudslinging matter lmao. i think the words sting also bc the defeatism showed i was not someone he felt was worth fighting for and that obv hurts coming from someone whom you love with all your heart - to know you matter so little when you've invested everything and more into him is more than a little heartbreaking. the anger also comes from all his lies - both in manipulating me and in presenting false/half-true narratives to his friends. i really h8 my naivete in believing him (even when i felt things were off) and i now recognise that that was pure manipulation/gaslighting - him blatantly lying about shit that he did to me and making me believe that i was unsound. he'd get mad at my rxn to the fuckshit he did then ran with that 2 rbkh lmao.

in tandem with "we were never going to work out" was him saying "i've fought for the relationship" which was the biggest lie ever and smth i know he texted jsut so he could screenshot it to his friends to look good. the real truth is the complete opposite bc i rarely felt that he had my back/was in my corner. i felt like an option rather than a priority, and it was compounded by him placing everyone else above my needs/caring what other people had to say about certain issues, but not my viewpoint even when they were issues that affected our relationship. how many times had he ignored me when I was in hospital or needed him to talk to me about whatever issues we were facing lmao. i had to watch him do things he hardly did for me: plan activities for his friends/colleagues, gift them the same things he gave me and show up for them in a way he didn't for me.

i hated him valorising his ""efforts"" in front of other people because they werent true - how are you fighting for our relationship when you bring our issues to other people (and dont even discuss it with me after), how are you fighting for our relationship when you won't plan for a future with me (but discuss how i should finance the mortgage with your friends instead of me), how are you fighting for our relationship when you and rbkh were making fun of your girlfriend when she was preggers lol i also hated that he said buying the condo was his Grand Gesture of Love for me when the truth was the opposite - it was me asking what our future was going to be/look like + when he initially talked about the condo, it was right after we got back tgt aft our first breakup and he meant it for himself (which is valid, and so was me asking what that meant for our future/if there was a place there for me) ((also i found out that the desire for getting his own place was sparked by rbkh getting a place of her own)) (((and his ultimate decision to choose the place was bc it was less than 10 mins away from his ex, the one he'd been texting behind my back throughout our relationship))) i haven't even touched on the massage parlor girls he has on his phone or his propensity to look for leaked discord/OF n00dz or the miscarriage but i dont think im ready to talk about it yet here

i actually have a lot more 2 say but i cried my feelings out already so i think im gucci but the tldr to this is that cowardice is tylr's trademark and no amount of cosplaying as a good person will erase the BS he put me through

Are ya’ll believing it’s May? An A-lister celebrity client of mine always says, “The days are long, but the years are flying by!” My youngest son asked, “Dad how many cats do you need?” I said, “I’ll let you know!” lol of course he has 5 chickens in his back yard, so if I want to have a cat lady/man starter pack so be it.  What a kitty cat journey we’ve had, and I believe we’ve figured the mystery out; having watched enough 48 hours and investigative shows.  We lost my biggest black cat a couple years ago when he never came back.  Ditto for a breathtaking Bengal tiger male outsider that simply disappeared.  Then finally a community cat, our sweet outside LB (little black), was found nearly lifeless by our neighbor.  We thought she got hit by a car, but she was chemically poisoned 

.  After figuring that out, my girlfriend Kimber was brave enough to bury one of LB's beautiful, short-haired, black kittens she found and we set a no-harm trap for the other 2 long-haired black ones which we’ve nick named “the twins”. 

While putting out food and traps, she found a handwritten note near the cage, “Stop feeding the ferrell cats, that’s part of the problem.”  Kimber the PI figured out which fence it was tossed from and went over fearlessly banging on their front door.  A disheveled, gaunt wife answered the door.  After reading the note the wife said, “Well, I hope he’s not putting out moth balls again.” We had to Google it and found that of course, moth balls would kill cats and kittens equally.  We were waiting until we were done trapping to call the armed county SPCA agent (yes, there is one) because Mr. Moth Balls deserves a good lecture from an armed man.  Evil people that do this work their way up to humans.  Is his wife next? Ugh grrr.   Kimber put signs up on the fences, “We’re trapping and fixing and relocating the cats.” Finally, we nabbed these adorable fluff balls (that we now know are girls) and got them fixed and defleaed etc.  We wanted to save these little buggers as the last offspring of such a cool momma - LB black cat who used to wag her tail constantly and come to my bedroom window when she wanted to be fed.  Ditto for Bamboo who looks like a black and gray Bengal tiger, again the offspring of little black and the Bengal tiger kitty that vanished a year ago.  What’s the point?  Never ever, ever, stop doing good wherever you can, as often as you can, for as long as you can.  Help contribute to all the people and animals, and yes...this planet too any chance you get.  Do good deeds without expecting a return.  Be a good deed doer and spirit will rain down blessings you’ve yet to imagine! ��

TGIWednesday: Don't leave the twins behind

Are ya’ll believing it’s May? An A-lister celebrity client of mine always says, “The days are long, but the years are flying by!” My youngest son asked, “Dad how many cats do you need?” I said, “I’ll let you know!” lol of course he has 5 chickens in his back yard, so if I want to have a cat lady/man starter pack so be it.  What a kitty cat journey we’ve had, and I believe we’ve figured the mystery out; having watched enough 48 hours and investigative shows.  We lost my biggest black cat a couple years ago when he never came back.  Ditto for a breathtaking Bengal tiger male outsider that simply disappeared.  Then finally a community cat, our sweet outside LB (little black), was found nearly lifeless by our neighbor.  We thought she got hit by a car, but she was chemically poisoned 

.  After figuring that out, my girlfriend Kimber was brave enough to bury one of LB's beautiful, short-haired, black kittens she found and we set a no-harm trap for the other 2 long-haired black ones which we’ve nick named “the twins”. 

While putting out food and traps, she found a handwritten note near the cage, “Stop feeding the ferrell cats, that’s part of the problem.”  Kimber the PI figured out which fence it was tossed from and went over fearlessly banging on their front door.  A disheveled, gaunt wife answered the door.  After reading the note the wife said, “Well, I hope he’s not putting out moth balls again.” We had to Google it and found that of course, moth balls would kill cats and kittens equally.  We were waiting until we were done trapping to call the armed county SPCA agent (yes, there is one) because Mr. Moth Balls deserves a good lecture from an armed man.  Evil people that do this work their way up to humans.  Is his wife next? Ugh grrr.   Kimber put signs up on the fences, “We’re trapping and fixing and relocating the cats.” Finally, we nabbed these adorable fluff balls (that we now know are girls) and got them fixed and defleaed etc.  We wanted to save these little buggers as the last offspring of such a cool momma - LB black cat who used to wag her tail constantly and come to my bedroom window when she wanted to be fed.  Ditto for Bamboo who looks like a black and gray Bengal tiger, again the offspring of little black and the Bengal tiger kitty that vanished a year ago.  What’s the point?  Never ever, ever, stop doing good wherever you can, as often as you can, for as long as you can.  Help contribute to all the people and animals, and yes...this planet too any chance you get.  Do good deeds without expecting a return.  Be a good deed doer and spirit will rain down blessings you’ve yet to imagine!

i was looking at a post you made a while ago about quotes you associate with bruce and this one of the ones that hit me in particular but i couldn’t find where it was from? i searched but nothing under the title came up. if i had to guess, its something hannah wrote from jellicoe road? ive never read any of the authors work but ive been wanting to:

“i’ve listened to people in the media say that nothing beats the love between a mother and the child she births. i’d have to challenge that. nothing beats it, but something equals it. because i feel a deep love at my heart’s core for this child. i truly believe we were meant to be.”

it is a melina marchetta quote but it's from an essay she wrote for a magazine where she talked about how special her experience has been with adoption! thankfully i still have the screenshots of the piece on my phone, they’re a bit hard to make out (bc these are from her instagram story at the time lol, i wouldn’t have access to this otherwise) but if you zoom in you can read most of what’s said hopefully!

TGIWednesday: Don't leave the twins behind

Are ya’ll believing it’s May? An A-lister celebrity client of mine always says, “The days are long, but the years are flying by!” My youngest son asked, “Dad how many cats do you need?” I said, “I’ll let you know!” lol of course he has 5 chickens in his back yard, so if I want to have a cat lady/man starter pack so be it.  What a kitty cat journey we’ve had, and I believe we’ve figured the mystery out; having watched enough 48 hours and investigative shows.  We lost my biggest black cat a couple years ago when he never came back.  Ditto for a breathtaking Bengal tiger male outsider that simply disappeared.  Then finally a community cat, our sweet outside LB (little black), was found nearly lifeless by our neighbor.  We thought she got hit by a car, but she was chemically poisoned 

.  After figuring that out, my girlfriend Kimber was brave enough to bury one of LB's beautiful, short-haired, black kittens she found and we set a no-harm trap for the other 2 long-haired black ones which we’ve nick named “the twins”. 

While putting out food and traps, she found a handwritten note near the cage, “Stop feeding the ferrell cats, that’s part of the problem.”  Kimber the PI figured out which fence it was tossed from and went over fearlessly banging on their front door.  A disheveled, gaunt wife answered the door.  After reading the note the wife said, “Well, I hope he’s not putting out moth balls again.” We had to Google it and found that of course, moth balls would kill cats and kittens equally.  We were waiting until we were done trapping to call the armed county SPCA agent (yes, there is one) because Mr. Moth Balls deserves a good lecture from an armed man.  Evil people that do this work their way up to humans.  Is his wife next? Ugh grrr.   Kimber put signs up on the fences, “We’re trapping and fixing and relocating the cats.” Finally, we nabbed these adorable fluff balls (that we now know are girls) and got them fixed and defleaed etc.  We wanted to save these little buggers as the last offspring of such a cool momma - LB black cat who used to wag her tail constantly and come to my bedroom window when she wanted to be fed.  Ditto for Bamboo who looks like a black and gray Bengal tiger, again the offspring of little black and the Bengal tiger kitty that vanished a year ago.  What’s the point?  Never ever, ever, stop doing good wherever you can, as often as you can, for as long as you can.  Help contribute to all the people and animals, and yes...this planet too any chance you get.  Do good deeds without expecting a return.  Be a good deed doer and spirit will rain down blessings you’ve yet to imagine!

I just find it simultaneously amusing and bizarre that Jujutsu Kaisen fans are constantly patting themselves on the back for the series’ female cast members and them allegedly possessing a “personality” as compared to the female cast members of other mainstream shounen, as if they don’t all suffer from the same fate of being sidelined regardless of personality and used as tools within stories that are primarily about men. The girls possessing “unique” personalities doesn’t mean anything in the long term if their presence doesn’t significantly contribute to moving the story forward because they’re either incapacitated, near death, or too irrelevant to even have a consistent presence for several chapters let alone arcs. It’s not a crime to love the girls, of course, and I love them myself, but it’s tiring to see this constant propping up of the female cast (as a whole) as examples of “well-written” female characters when there are series that put in twice the amount of work to give their female characters “unique” personalities; complex, long-term arcs; and consistent and plot-significant presence within the given story. So much of the praise from this fandom seems to stem from the fact that the girls are traditionally strong and uninterested in romance, which is fine! I love to see girls like that, too. But it’s incredibly telling that this is something shounen readers would value above any other kind of female character and would call “revolutionary” or “subversive” with regards to gender roles, when there are far more ways to subvert female characters in the genre (and manga in general) that go beyond portrayal of strength or how these characters feel about love. It’s a bare minimum “subversion” at best, and a gratuitous one at worst when the characters aren’t allowed to move beyond the fact of them simply being “subversive” in existence.

I've been a fan of chyfr for 9 years the series is my life sorry so I will continue defending Sensei especially when a lot of the criticism comes from people who were not reading chyfr for what it was and if anything it was them who put it on a pedestal. You have said before that chyfr wasn't like other shoujosei I suppose you don't feel that way anymore? I honestly never agreed it with that I thought chyfr was very similar to its contemporaries but still managed to excel in the genre.

i don't know that i would go so far as to retract my statement entirely, because i do think there are areas where it genuinely pushes beyond the boundaries of the genre (with respect to the romance esp. the outcome wasn't the one i expected but i still believe the way it was executed was significantly progressive for a romance of its kind considering what's mainstream with respect to the same dynamic, and that aside, chihaya’s independence and priority of goals as a female protagonist i think was very significant). i only mean to say that acting like it's perfect from top to bottom ultimately isn't useful, and i mean, that's something you can say of any work, isn't it? there's always going to be little flaws here and there to nitpick at. i don't think they should mar the story as a whole per se, but i think they're still things you can talk about in good faith and recognize as parts of a story to improve on in the future when continuing your craft

- Thoughts on daisycamila in the show vs the book?

- Besides Argyle and Vickie, and do you think any previous side characters will make an appearance in s5 however major/minor it may be? (Keith, Eden, Suzie, Kali, etc)

- I’m hoping for more Byhop interactions S5 plus ones that we haven’t seen as much (Joyce-El, Jonathan-El, Hopper-Will, Hopper-Jonathan, Joyce-Jonathan, I think ideally WillEl would be a given lol), though idk how that will play out in the apocalypse and the remaining 8-10* hours of the series (*I’m assuming one hour episodes + two hr finale off the top of my head)

—at first I was sad they cut the main Daisy and Camila scene in the book that makes Daisy leave the band (but also has Camila’s clear belief in her). I sorta see why they did it though and Daisy choosing to get help worked, but didn’t love that their last scene then was not a positive one. I don’t really agree with people that the show undermined Camila’s importance in the last ep; I thought Billy clearly chose Camila. And if anything Billy relapsing and only wanting to be with Daisy if broken was p terrible and I was glad she shut all that down. I wish Daisy and Camila had another scene but the one about motherhood earlier was sweet. I also thought the end was true to the book (did you also see TJR’s original ending; I loved it but love the book ending and was happy with the show’s ending). What did you think?

—I honestly hope not. I mean Kali could make sense ig but the last thing they need is more characters taking up time and I already wonder how Argyle and Vickie will be integrated. Like I assume Argyle is def in s5 but someone should have asked Eduardo directly at the con! But I think he could be fun with the teen group and I really like him, esp when they don’t just make him ‘stoner guy’ but show he’s v sweet and a good friend and is good with unconventional problem solving. Does that group become Steve, Nancy, Robin, Jonathan, Argyle, Vickie? Or are they kept pretty separate? I still want some non love triangle ot3 interaction and stonathan and ronance interaction too in addition to jancy and jargyle.

—I really hope we get those Byers scenes and Byers Hopper scenes! I don’t know if the writers understand they can’t go full circle to s1 without them and or have a central Will plotline without them (yes we def will get WillEl which is impt), but I’m not sure if they’ll come through with the rest; I’m just hoping they do.

PART ONE

when your wakatoshi comes home from a long day of practice, one that tires him out more than normal, haru comes out to greet him, he gives the girl scratches and affection before you call out his name, having heard the door open.

today was no exception.

you always make sure to be home by the time ushijima’s done with practice, marriage had done everything but dull the feeling of loving him.

but tonight ushijima comes home late and he finds you passed out on the couch in your living room, the light from the tv in front of you reflecting on your face.

you’re knocked out on your side, clutching at a pillow while your head rests on another. ushijima doesn’t miss how you’re wearing one of his sweaters.

he comes in as quietly as he can and puts away everything he’s brought with him. including some food for you which will wait patiently for tomorrow. afterwards he takes a second to admire you.

because you obviously have no right to look this beautiful when you sleep, so why are you that beautiful?

ushijima thinks he won’t ever get the answer, though he does think it should be illegal to look so gorgeous all the time like you manage to do.

sometimes he can’t help but stare at you and when he finally catches your eye you smile and practically glow and no; ushijima will never get tired of that smile of yours.

but other times he stares when you're not awake, and he can’t really choose which way he likes to look at you most. but he takes every opportunity to study every little part of you he can, he finds it entertains him way too much.

soon enough though, he realizes it’s much later from the time that he’d gotten home to now. so he shuts off the tv and wrestles the pillow from between your arms so he can take you into his own.

no matter what, he’s always been able to carry you, and frankly the weight of you in his arms is always comforting.

he passes haru in the hallway, finding her passed out just as you are and only gives her a sincere pat of hello before moving to your bedroom.

he tucks you in under the sheets and squeezes himself in next to you.

he holds you close and feels you wrap yourself around him like a koala as he kisses your forehead.

“love you,” he mumbles against your temple.

ushijima wakatoshi doesn’t think he can sleep without you anymore, not a chance of it at all.

Things I DO NOT want for YR S2:

- Love Triangle(s) I have enough of this shit in general. I’m hoping they won’t because of how well they handled the whole felice/wille thing.

- wille retreating back into silently controlled by the lovely Kristina (his mom) NO. Like I can understand easing into him slowly becoming himself and saying F the monarchy but please don’t let him retreat back. If not what the heck would that look at the end of the last ep be for esp while playing Revolution in the bg.

- Too much angst

WHAT I WANT/Would like:

- initial mutual pining. Can’t be queer without the pining.

- Simon and Wille being happy together at the end. I won’t be able to take them not smiling at each other.

- Simon and Wille talking through their issues. (Def some angst at the start before it comes to this and that I can take.)

- Really want them to still be able to rely and count on each other, that they can still be in each others space and talk... I just want them to keep talking to each other, smiling and still make each other laugh even if it’s just a minor smirk.

- I doubt that they will get back together right away. I think Wilhelm is only just starting his self-discovery journey and he still has a long way to go. I would like this to be the focus for Wille in season two and if along the way, we see them becoming friends and their connection are getting stronger again. Them sharing glances, at least confiding and talking to each other. Simon working through his issues too.

- handholding, hugging, kissing

- Wilhelm seeking therapy because he needs it (or at least something similar I guess) hahahahahh cries

- Wilhelm and Erik flashbacks. Brotherly moments

- MOST IMPT: Wilhelm coming into himself???? Self-discovery? Introspection? I don’t know what’s the term but yes. Simon mentioned Wille needing to find out what he wants but that is the truth. This isn’t just about their relationship or whatever but also how Wille intends to handle his current situation, his family situation and how he will resolve the conflict between those external factors and himself. He struggles so much and it’s understandable given his background but at one point, he needs to be sure of what he wants and at least an idea of where he wants to go from there and unrelentingly steadfast on that instead of catering and giving in to external factors (his mom, the royalty, August, peers aka the society).

- WILHELM slowly but surely standing up for himself against his family and peers. Start a slow revolution. I’m totally down for this.

- FELICE/WILHELM FRIENDSHIP!!!!!

- Malin/Wilhelm bonding ahhahaha (Random I know)

- Girl Friendships (or more). Where my girl gang at (SARA FELICE HOW) (Maddie my love)

- (Stella/Fredricka)? Idk if it will happen but one can dream for more 🌈

- Happy Felice who deserves all good things in life

- FAMILY (SARA/SIMON) at the end of the day, Sara and Simon will always be there for each other. I know this.

- Sara realising she messed up. Her finally admitting her mistakes? She will def have a hard time making up and being forgiven

OR Sara having a plan idk

- Linda/Wilhelm???? Idk. Linda forgiving Wille for hurting her son and giving him a hug cause she knows he needs it????

- Simon meeting Kristina. Simon at the palace.

- Wille’s dad (ludvig is that his name?) approving of Simon or at the very least, Wille’s dad being there for his son cause the mom ain’t currently doing it. Unless she let her motherly side overcome her queenly duties for once. Who knows. If so, family moment would be nice here too.

- 1st year (/2nd year; are they in their 2nd yr?) friendship gang please

- FRIENDSHIPS FRIENDSHIPS FRIENDSHIPS (inc Ayub and Rosh with Simon/the gang)

- I’m hoping they handle the whole Sara/august thing well though

- curious where they’re heading with the August storyline too (but at the same time I don’t want to? I don’t know. He’s an ass and he’s interesting but still an ass and what to do with an ass in your life? Cut them out ahhhh… they are also valid and not obligated to forgive someone who made their lives hell but I would like to see Malte still and august is intriguing and if they are able to turn his character around? Maybe hmmmmm but not necessary at the same time.)
