Fighting Fate: Chapter 5
-Present Day-
A few days had passed and Links wounds had finally managed to completely heal, much to Yonas delight. She had helped Sidon in helping him with his recovery. Link had thanked her and was even escorted by Sidon to the borders of the Zora domain.
““I hope your travels fair better now. Don’t forget you are always welcome here.” Sidon said kneeling down on one leg taking Links hands in his own and brought a hand to Links face.
“Words could not express what sorrow I would feel if you perished.”
Link smiled and signed to him.
“I promise I’ll be careful. Until next we meet, make sure your people are safe. Otherwise I’ll have to save you again.” Link smiled
“You always look better with a smile Link, truly it is fitting of such a great hero as yourself.”
Sidon gave him his signature toothy smile as Link whistled for his horse which came out from the nearby woods. Link saddled the horse as he smiled once more to Sidon waving goodbye as he ventured off onto the path leading to Hyrule castle. Hopefully some news of Zelda would appear from there, at least anything at this point would ease his mind. At least he prayed that Purah had some news.
-
Zelda stood still from what she heard. Naboris and Ganondorf were siblings. The heat of the baths made her mind slowly become dizzy. Ganondorf had his ever mischievous smirk on his face. He has been waiting for her to speak on for a few moments but he could tell she had a lot of questions, as always.
“It is really such a surprise?”
“A surprise?! Of course. You never spoke of her being your sister, not to mention that she is by at least my mind a princess of the Gerudo.”
“She enjoys the title of captain far more than princess, but I suppose yes. By your traditions she would be.”
Zelda was still shocked as she thought how Naboris never said she was related. To learn such a important part of their history she wondered why it was never written in any texts. Perhaps when he became the Demon Lord, Naboris sought to cut all ties to him. Zelda saw Ganondorf adjust his robes once more as he brought his hair up to tie it back up. The water still in a light layer on his skin as the scents from the soap still remained in the air.
“So you and Naboris...your mother...is she?”
“She died long before you arrived. We were both just kids when it happened.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Nothing to be sorry for. It was not you or your peoples fault. She was sick and we could find no cure. Not even Sonia and all her knowledge could save her.”
“What was she like? Do you remember.”
‘I remember she always wore her hair in a long braid. Her favorite gem was sapphires because it was like looking into the sea. She was headstrong like all Gerudo women, she was not without worry for us though. Especially if Naboris and I would learn to love each other as equals.”
Ganondorf looked down at Zelda and motioned for him to follow him as he continued to speak.
“Do you?”
“I respect her and understand her pain from losing our mother...though she seems to ally herself with the Zonai...I have no hatred toward her...after all. She is my sister.”
“And her father?”
“Naboris’s father did not stay to give her any life lessons. Not that he would have seen her much with voe not being allowed here. All I knew of him was that he was a traveling Hylian. The last I heard of him was from one of my scouts...he was now a regular in a hylian bar”
Leading them away from the baths, Zelda could see that he was bringing her to the second floor of the palace, she saw it was his royal chambers in the main room, with a few side rooms on either side but also two small hallways on either side. Most likely leading to Naboris’s chambers she thought.
The main royal bedroom had a balcony looking out toward the vast desert and below she could see the crystal lights of the city. High above in view through the open window was a full moon high in the sky with only a few clouds in view with multiple stars peaking through.
“You said you were ‘reborn’ first and then Naboris was born.” Zelda said as she saw him sit on the rather large bed. If she was to lay down on it, she wouldn’t even cover half of it. The moonlight hit his face causing his hair to gleam in the light as the gold accessories he wore shimmered like sunken treasure. His eyes opened to her, they were a beautiful gold that were different from the first time she saw them. The day she first saw him they were dull and cold but know they were filled with gleam and warm.
“They said she was pregnant with both of us, but mine was blessed by the Goddess...more like a bloody curse. I have no father nor would I want one. A mother that loved me as her own and as a warrior was enough for me.”
“Still I am sorry...it seems that me and you have fates both with their shares of good and bad.”
“You were blessed to reincarnate from the goddess herself. In what way is yours a curse?”
Zelda stood before him with her hands clinging to the other in front of her. She was silent as she walked toward him and sat behind him. He watched as she tried to find the right words.
“My mother died when I was very young as well, I was only six at the time. When she died, I lost my only way to properly learn how to use my power. My father who fell into a great depression, forced me to learn my power...well religiously...” she chuckled as she looked up at him.
“But I never did...at least not to the extent he wished. He made me focus my time solely on my power and away from my friends.”
The images of Ravalli, Daruk, Mipha and Urbosa came to her mind, the memories of all of them smiling and wishing her good grace and offering any support she needed. And even the silent hero, though he could not speak. Whenever he was with her, she felt no fear. But even then he knew his path, the path of a hero. And in some regard she knew that Ganondorf even knew his path.
She felt her eyes sting from the tears that fell from her cheeks. She missed everyone, but she was glad to have found friends even in this ancient time. Zelda felt the bed shift a little as she felt Ganondorf take one of her hands in his giving it a gentle squeeze.
“Forgive me. I did not question or wander as to how the responsibilities of a Goddess reborn would be so troubling. But clearly we both must suffer much in these lives...both in the past of future.”
Zelda was slightly taken aback from his words. He truly wasn’t evil sure he wasn’t a savior but no one is truly completely good or bad. She remembered the times when she would lash out at Link and even Impa when they would seem too worried for her even though she understood that they still cared for her despite everything.
Without any warning she sat up on the bed on her knees and reached out to him with both her arms wrapping them lightly around his neck. The action took him aback slightly as he tried to register what she was doing. To make it a bit less uncomfortable he brought and around her shoulders.
“You're, uh...welcome. I guess.”
Zelda smiled to herself realizing how she had somehow surprised the great king of the Gerudo from a hug. She sat back down on the bed smiling to herself once more before blushing as she looked away.
“Thank you.”
“No...Thank you.  I must admit...it is nice to speak to someone on such matters.”
After a few moments he adjusted himself on the bed before she spoke once more.
“Would you mind Ganondorf If slept beside you. Being honest...I don’t want to be alone.” she said wiping away the last remnants of her tears.
“I see no reason why not.” he said as he gestured for her to claim her spot. As he watched her get comfortable he couldn’t help but think again how here presence made him feel at peace again. At first he thought it was her power but in the here and now he could see it was because of her. After only a few moments once she got comfortable did he lay next to her giving her as much room as he could. She took off her earrings and placed them on the nearby stand.
“Goodnight Gan.” She said snuggling into the bed as her head barely covered the pillow.
“Goodnight...Zelda.”
-
Ganondorf squirmed in the bed, the nightmares of his past life echoed in his mind. The endless visions of his own deaths that plagued his mind, memories of the hero of legend that always beats him. A figure in his memories was always blurred though...one for the life of him he could not recall the name of.
A sudden chilled touch awoke him as he opened his eyes to see Zelda's body laying beside him but her eyes were open and a hand was on his arm.
“Are you...are you alright?”
He merely nodded before smirked to himself, he opened his arms out to her in an invitation.
“Are you?”
Zelda blushed as tad as she moved a bit closer to him feeling the warmth almost immediately. He breathing was calm but he had to admit he was a bit scared, and he wasn’t even sure why. All he knew was that she was clearly opening up to him, and unlike the other domains, her fear of him seemed to almost disappear entirely. He sighed to himself as her breathing got slower and slower with each second. All he did for the night was hold her and watch her sleep as he soon realized that maybe...just maybe. For once. He could get close to someone...to her.

As a materialist, Anzu usually considered herself good at giving gifts. Clothes, soaps, cosmetics or perfumes, whatever it was, Anzu's expensive and discerning taste came in handy. With Sonia, though... she could just buy anything she wanted and never think about the cost, so what even was a good gift? Other than Shinobu wrapped in edible chocolate ribbon holding a sign that read 'Sorry I'm too emotionally stunted to be open about my feelings, please admire my muscles and kiss me lots.' Actually, would... Anzu shook her head. No, that wouldn't work.
It felt weird to not have a physical gift for Sonia to fawn over. Without one, that meant Anzu herself was the focus of any attention, and while she typically loved that sort of thing, the nature of the gift meant it was... just spending time together? Was that really anything to get excited about? Anzu was conceited but not that conceited. "Happy Birthday! I know you're going back home for a little while, Sonia-san, but I thought once you get back..." With a small wriggling of her nose, she pushed the paper towards Sonia, an itinerary written in big, looping script.
In the morning, breakfast together near HPA, then off to Omotesando for luxury shopping. There was a new French cafe that was opening nearby while Sonia was back in Novoselic, and the pre-opening buzz was good, so over there for lunch, followed by going to the Tsubouchi Memorial Theater Museum. Some shopping in Ginza would round out the afternoon, and then a special dinner/dessert performance of Dracula at one of the small theaters in Roppongi. They even had a handsome lady Dracula this time, so if that sparked anything for Sonia, Anzu wouldn't complain.
"I wasn't really sure what to get you, Sonia-san," Anzu admitted sheepishly. "But I thought we could have fun going out together, just the two of us?" Of course, she could probably wrangle Shinobu into some of it if she really wanted, but if this was supposed to be some experience-based present involving time with a close friend, then it made more sense just for the two of them. Either way, this hesitant character wasn't very fitting for her, so Anzu straightened up, pressing her hand against her chest. "Naturally, from one illustrious lady to another, we both know time is more valuable than any gift, so I would generously like to give you a day of mine so that we can hang out, make memories, and do bestie things together."

Sonia's Birthday Asks 2023 - No Longer Accepting!
Most people, it seemed, weren't fans of cafeteria food at Hope's Peak Academy. Unless the likes of Hanamura-san was cooking (and his food wasn't otherwise tampered with), most students were eager to eat elsewhere. Especially for dinner, as it warranted a little time off-campus before they dedicated themselves once again to their talents.
Sonia was the opposite: a bowl of tempura udon, chilled tofu, and pickled vegetables were as close to comfort food as she would get for quite awhile: the next two weeks would be an array of ceremonies, meetings, formal dinners and, of course, the annual masquerade ball which so happened to fall on her exact birthday that year. It wasn't quite how she'd wanted to spend it, she thought in-between bites of noodle and shrimp: still, she'd been given permission to extend invitations to her new Japanese friends abroad, but with the prediction that none of them would attend. It had been her mother's attempt at being gracious and accepting of her new life and the friends that came with it, except few could take the time away from their studies to travel to Europe, and fewer still could afford it. Unsurprisingly, there had been one affirmative RSVP from Class 78. To Queen Valentina's delight and Sonia's unease, she could only hope that, in the presence of so many CEOs and aristocrats, Byakuya Togami would forget about asking for a dance or two.
She sighed heavily, stirring a now-mushy piece of tempura-fried kabocha when Anzu approached. Just in time, too: she had maybe thirty minutes left of her dinner before the cabin crew and security arrived to fetch her various valises and trunks and chauffeur her to the private airport where the jet was being readied for her night flight. "Thank you, Anzu-san!" She beamed, setting her half-eaten dinner aside. "I was wondering if I would see you before I left. Two weeks is such a long time to be away from school now, it will be wonderful to spend time together once I return."
She'd given invitations to the likes of Tsubasa, Shinobu, and Anzu too, though she'd either never heard back or they were declined. Just as well: the more she thought about it, the more she didn't want to start another argument with her parents on the topic of 'suitable friendships.'
"I am sure you and Yaguchi-san will find something fun to do while I am away," She continued, unfolding the paper itinerary Anzu had given her and trying not to sound terribly put out by the fact that she was a princess with important duties, particularly duties the press and the world at large were fascinated by: the gown she'd wear, the fact she was being given a new tiara, the guest list composed of politicians, aristocrats, and businesspeople from around the world, and who she'd be dancing with. If she explained it in that much detail to Anzu, she doubted the other girl would find it was as emotionally taxing as she did: after all, pretty much every young, male, and unmarried member of the peerage in high school up until thirty years of age had accepted the invitation. Sometimes, her life really did resemble a Disney movie.
However, Disney movies didn't often have extended shopping sequences or trips to a museum, and they definitely did not have performances of Dracula with an all-female cast. Anzu had included a printed screenshot of the website advertisement, and the marketing seemed to lean heavily into dark color palettes, elegant cursive, and a healthy dose of passion alongside the scares. Sonia grinned, setting the paper aside: she'd been to a host club with Anzu where the latter had crawled into a man's lap and, for lack of a better phrase, claimed her territory for several hours. A gothic romance between two women hardly seemed scandalous in comparison.
Tumblr media
"Oh, this sounds like such a fun day!" She exclaimed, sniffling. Sure, she could pass it off as the temperature of the soup or how thoughtful her friend had been in planning a birthday celebration, but Sonia was moved by the fact that Anzu had called her her 'bestie.' She'd never been called a 'bestie' before, but she knew that was what normal people called each other when they were good, close friends. Wiping a single tear away, she gave Anzu a warm smile, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks. "Two weeks cannot go by fast enough, and this shall be an excellent treat for Halloween. I love it so much, Anzu-san. Thank you for thinking of me."

screams in Sonia simp
okay anyway i have a story plot about a sonia x reader please listen to me rant about it thank you
non-despair/hope’s peak au where Sonia transfers to your school and has godly singing skills and she literally revamps your school choir ensemble and you both kiss
“i believe if you think you can do it, then surely you’ll be able to do it! right?”
Sonia Nevermind’s speaking was never the best.
her pronunciation was always a little off, and her wording was weird in some places. but, her singing was beautiful. in many ways, you could even say she was the one who brought the choir ensemble back to life.
admiration for the foreign woman was what had brought you to the room where many people resided--some of them friends of hers, others just waiting for a chance to join an actual ensemble--and there stood you, in front of the door.
her face brightened up and she walked over to you, asking a question you hadn’t yet had an answer to.
“are you here to apply for the ensemble of choirs as well?!”
“no.”
you had blurted it out due to panic, cold sweat running down your face. your hands became clammy and you hoped to god that your face wasn’t red right now. your answer was an outright lie.
and you had run away.
although you had been back at that same door for days--weeks--on end, it was hard to find the courage to walk in after that.
your school choir had never been the best. it was honest fact. with the admission and appearance of Sonia Nevermind to your school of amateurs, it was only natural that the school’s choir ensemble would finally get past their usual bronze medal in preliminaries to compete in nationals.
to be blunt, everyone in your school choir sucked. really badly.
and everyone really hoped that the foreign exchange student would fix that. and you did, too.
the despair of another year stuck with a bronze medal in competitions would be over--because with Sonia Nevermind came revolution. with her, she brought hope.
everyone in the choir ensemble could feel it.
so you stepped into the room, with an answer that you proudly said with your chest to the president of the choir ensemble.
“yes! i’m joining!”
and so, all that was left was a new choir director and the choir ensemble was finally back to work.
it had been years since the choir ensemble had been this serious, or had even worked so hard in their lives. the new and assigned director was strict and... determined, was a nicer way to put it. he pushed people hard--pushed people to their limits.
with the director came Sonia’s suggestions, and yours as well: breathing exercises, lung expansion, vocal exercises, and much, much more.
it went on like that for a while. it felt like things weren’t going anywhere at all and, of course, it wasn’t long until students were complaining about it.
“why are we doing this?”
“what’s the point in doing all these things?”
“why aren’t we singing?”
“what are we doing wasting time like this?”
this year was supposed to be different. this year was supposed to be productive and serious. so why was it being wasted by doing useless exercises they knew like the back of their hand?
and the result was a masterpiece.
with the music piece you all had sang, it was the start of sectionals. being separated by the usual Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. you supposed that things like melody parts and harmony would be explored later.
you were put in the Tenor section, while Sonia was with the Sopranos.
now, you’re probably asking, “gene, how does our relationship with Sonia have to do with anything in this plot? this is just about the school choir ensemble and how great Sonia is rn.....” SHUSH child, i will get to it. <3 /lh
sectionals, vocal warmups, and the basic run-down of things in sections. as the tenor section normally focused on falsettos and harmony, that’s what you and your section worked on: harmonization and hitting high notes that were usually out of your vocal range, as per vocal exercises.
and then came your sheet music, which held the power to create symphonies.
your first performance was in two weeks, and your heart could be heard screaming in your chest. you were more than just anxious, you were terrified. would two weeks be enough? would you all be able to make it in two weeks?
you supposed you’d just have to find out.
.
.
.
.
and with the passing of your first performance in the choir ensemble, came cheers of celebration. it wasn’t perfect, and it certainly wasn’t deserving of a golden medal, but it was good, it was warm, and it sounded like.. an ensemble.
you were proud, and in the moment of relief and celebration after you had all exited the eyes of the crowd, your gaze had intertwined with Sonia’s.
she smiled.
and invited you out. to a carnival.
a lot of people from the ensemble was going, and maybe she had no one to go with. or maybe she meant to ask you. or maybe she was pitying you. or maybe she felt bad for you because you didn’t have anyone to go with? you had friends in the ensemble, so there was no reason to ask you for that reason. unless she liked you?? woah there, no need to get your own hopes up! right? right??????
talk about overthinking it...
and the festival was spent on a hill, away from the commotion of the people.
“people here are interesting.” she blurted out, back facing you in a small, semi-formal dress, “but i like interesting. i like the people who are interesting, and you are interesting to me.”
she turned around, holding the railing behind her, “i didn’t come here to have fun. not really. but it has been so much fun since i have come here!”
“i came to learn the customs and cuisine of your people, to learn of your people, and i have had much fun doing so in the process. this ensemble was never planned, but i don’t regret doing it. in fact, i enjoy doing-- i enjoy singing very much. with everyone.”
“but after this, i have to leave. i must leave to my homeland after this, because i have promised my father to. though, i think that the ensemble will be in good hands after i leave. because you are here.”
you supposed being a foreign student isn’t easy, much less if you’re supposed to leave something you enjoy doing so much.
your words would not leave your throat.
“after we have hit nationals, i will be an honorary senior! how fun!” she ran up to you and grabbed your hands, “and you will lead wonderfully! am i wrong?”
you opened your mouth to say something, but nothing would come out. your eyes just stared in pity and sadness.
to leave something you love to do, for duties that you may or may not enjoy... it just didn’t seem right to you. that seemed painful. it seemed like it hurt.
“i don’t want you to leave.” was what you said.
Sonia simply smiled as the fireworks behind her shot off. something about it was sad, lonely, telling you.
“i don’t want to either.”
so now, your goal is to make sure that she stays for good. but can you accomplish it?

Gundham’s and Kazuichi’s mangaka S/O wants to draw them
Gundham Tanaka:
·       Though you were the Super High School Level Mangaka you specialized in historical fantasy! You absolutely adored doing research and finding new mythical beasts and species to sketch and incorporate into your work. It was no surprise that Gundham became your muse the moment you two met!
·       Gundham would allow you to visit his creatures and draw them to use as bases for cryptids and monsters of all sorts in your manga. The four Dark Devas often acted as your pose models given how unusually animated they were for hamsters.
·       Having asked the Overlord of Ice to allow you near his animals so often you spent much time together and eventually started dating.
·       “My Queen, the Stringer of Fates, what curse dares to plague your soul?! You’ve not touched the pages with which you create and destroy worlds, as if it were deadly to do so! You’ve yet to search out a demon to immortalize. Not even have you greeted the four Dark Devas of Destruction as you always have.” You huffed lazily watching the rabbit Gundham was currently grooming. “Artists’ block. I can’t seem to draw or write anything. Either I just stare at a blank page for hours, or I start something which quickly dissolves into an incoherent mess!” Rubbing your temples, you grumbled at the clogged feeling fogging your mind. “I did pull a few all-nighters last week. Maybe I’m just drained. But if things keep going like this, I’ll miss my deadline! I already asked for an extension on it last week, I can’t keep doing this!”
·       Gundham watched as you picked up the sketch pad and pencil. There was this stiffness in your movements. Your hand which once flowed about gracefully like a bird in flight now paved plain straight lines. Your eyes darted about unable to focus on anything. “UGH! I can’t even draw a proper circle for the rabbit’s body!” Sinking into your seat you tossed your sketch pad and pencil aside. “Perhaps a day of respite is in order.” “No, I already took a day off yesterday. I feel I’m even worse now than I was two day ago.”
·       The Devas quickly scurried over to you, hopping into your lap, or climbing onto your shoulder to nuzzle your cheek. “… thanks.” Gently petting the two in your lap you sighed in defeat.
·       It was at that Gundham abruptly stood up. “Where is my Queen, and what have you done with her, villain?!” “… Huh?” “MY Queen would never rot away so quickly into a decrepit state such as this! She’d fight and claw till her final breath! She’d never faulter so easily!” “I Am, your Queen.” “Hmph! No, you are not. Now, tell me where she is.” You marched right up to Gundham glaring at him. “I’m right here! I am your Queen, the Stringer of Fates!”
·       It started as a chuckle which boomed into uproarious laughter! “There you are. That determination, your will to live has returned to your eyes. I am glad to have you back.” Surprisingly, you did feel like you had more energy than before. “So, shall we be off? A piece of you is still missing and we must search it out less you start to fade away once more.” “… Yeah, a date sounds nice right now.”
·       As a bright blush dusted his cheeks, the Overlord of Ice took your hand into his bandaged one, the other taking your bag of sketch supplies, he led you out of the school grounds into the great beyond!
·       The day was filled with fun and laughter as you raced from place to place, doing anything you could think of. A walk in the park, a trip to the arcade, lunch at a café, shopping at a bookstore, and anything else you could have dreamed of.
·       As the sun began to set, Gundham and you found yourselves at the clear beach, dancing around barefoot, not a care in the world. “… Gundham. Thank you, today was amazing.” His entire face instantaneously flushed hearing his true name being called. In that moment he just looked so beautiful to you. His sheepish smile, those tender eyes, just, everything about him.
·       “May I draw you?” “… Of course, my Queen.”
·       And thus you drew, having completely forgotten that morning or the past few days, you were struggling.
·       “Ah! Your depiction captured my true form! I should have known you could see through my mortal guise!” He so happily admired your drawing with sparkling eyes.
·       While he was distracted you worked on another piece, one of a dark king holding his queen close on the soft shores of the beach.
  Kazuichi Soda:
·       You never held much interest in machinery till you came to Hope’s Peak and met Kazuichi. It seemed just about every time you saw him, he was tinkering with something, from a small robot toy to a monster truck engine. Often times the parts of whatever he was working on were spread out, and then seeing how they all fit together fascinated you. Without realizing it you’d end up just watching him work for hours and sketching out the pieces and tools he was using.
·       Quickly this fascination bled into your own work, incorporating steampunk-esque elements into it. And the more elements you added, the more references you needed. At first you tried getting some on your own, but you’d just end up injuring your hands and fingers in some way or you’d break the pieces.
·       “Look, you got me into this mess and now you have to take responsibility.” “W-what!?” Before Kazuichi could panic you placed an old, rusted pocket watch before him. “How do I disassemble this!?” For a week or two after you’d bring some new item to Kazuichi to disassemble and reassemble. You eagerly sketched out the pieces you needed the references of and more.
·       Quickly you and Kazuichi became friends. You would chatter away as you did your own things. Before you knew it the two of you ended up spending time together just to be together, no drawing and no tinkering.
·       Kazuichi would go to you for advice for his unrequited crush on Princess Sonia to which you’d try your best to help, even if it did hurt a little given your crush on the mechanic. She wasn’t the only thing he spoke of though, so you had plenty of other conversations.
·       Kazuichi certainly liked chatting so when one day he was quiet you got a bit worried… Then you remembered something. “Oh Soda. You’ve never been on a school trip before, right?” “Hmm, uh, yeah. I skipped out on the only one I got a chance to go on.” “Because of financial issues, right.” “Yeah.” “Well, I happen to be going on a trip all over Europe for background references and I was thinking who better to take along than my best friend and best mechanic I know!” The news certainly perked him right up, and he excitedly chattered on about traveling! Quickly the news spread, and it ended up becoming a class trip! Honestly, though a trip alone with Soda sounded lovely, you more enjoyed seeing how ecstatic he was to be going on an actual class trip with everyone.
·       The trip was fantastic, it seemed to be nonstop fun. Often you’d forget that you were being payed to go on this trip for work and that you needed to get reference materials, thankfully Mikan took more than enough reference photos for you.
·       Though during the trip, you noticed how Kazuichi, though still friendly, was a bit more reserved than usual. When you asked him what was wrong, he said he appreciated the concern, but it was something he had to work out on his own.
·       Eventually your trip took you all to France the city of love. The place was certainly an artist’s dream, you found yourself drawing nonstop there. It was amazing!
·       At one point in your trip your class wanted to get to a restaurant at the top of a rather large hill, but the only way to get there was via a thin road by car. So, you, Kazuichi, Sonia and your driver were the last to get to the restaurant.
·       Then the car broke down. Kazuichi immediately went to check the engine while Sonia stood at the edge of the road, looking out at the sunset. It was a gorgeous sight, her profile, the sunset, the city lights, everything. You had started sketching out the scenery when a though struck you.
·       You elbowed Kazuich, gaining his attention. You then leaned in real close while still looking at Sonia, not noticing the blush spreading on his cheeks as he kept looking to you. “Hey Soda, now’s your chance. This view is absolutely romantic, and you’re in the city of love. Don’t you think this is the perfect time to ask out the girl you like?” This hurt, it really did, but seeing how happy he was to be going on a school trip without worry like he always wanted, you could hardly imagine his joy if Sonia got together with him at a time like this. It hurt, but you just wanted to see him happy.
·       “… Ask out the girl I like, huh…… Okay.”
·       Turning to you he placed his hands atop your shoulders. “Y/N I have a crush on you. Please go out on a date with me.” “… Wait? I thought… what about Nevermind?” “I, well, yeah, I do like her, but… I really like you… I… That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out lately and... so I... You get it, don’t you!?” “… Soda, please let me draw you!” “Huh?” “Well, if we start going out, we’ll be boyfriend and girlfriend, right? I’d like to have something to commemorate the moment by.” “S/O!” He pulled you into a tight hug, giddy out of his mind.
·       You ended up drawing him at the restaurant. He loved the drawing so much he took a picture to use as his phone’s lock screen. From then on you often drew him for references for poses and though all great, his favorite would forever be the first one you made of him. It was made to celebrate you getting together, it was always so special to him.

April Fools Special Review: Part 5
Twisted Metal
Of course, Session 2 hasn’t ended but even this session had a lot of growth for Hibiki. While she has more or less accepted the true nature of her sister, and has decided to payback the kindness and support she got into helping others, there is still doubt and regret within her mind. Though Hibiki’s career is currently over, she still wants to get back into music eventually once things die down but now on her terms and not what Kanade decided, and there is still a part of Hibiki that loves Kanade like a sister. We also see that people who brush off music like a certain 11037, earn her ire as seeing him low key seeing music as a ‘easy route’ irritated her enough to confront the Future Ultimate Baseball Star himself on the matter. Despite the serious risk of exposure that she could have had, Hibiki might have been wearing a disguise at the time but there was already a scare in Session 1 when a date between her and Hajime was interrupted by a /r/niceguy fan, Leon wouldn’t have been into Hibiki’s genre of music so he didn’t realise he was actually talking to Hibiki Otonokoji. However, he was appreciative of Hibiki’s advice on the matter, and given that Sayaka would be in his class, someone who Hibiki has great respect for, she would be able to set him straight on the matter. When Hajime and co go back to school for their second semester, Hibiki, living alone in Hajime’s house decides to make an announcement on Twitter.com that she is still alive and is busy trying to sort her life out, but will go back into music eventually. The response she got was overwhelming positive as all her fans are pleased to see her alive, some apologising to her for any mean comments they might have made about her in the past, and others said they were worried that Kanade might have killed her. This brought Hibiki to tears as it’s not just the love she gets from her friends and lovers, she’s also got support from her fanbase. Her new emotional maturity is put to the test when Hajime loses his second life because a certain controversial Neurologist decides to test his time travel theory by killing him and Umeko, and of course the pain and trauma that comes from seeing a beloved friend’s dead body and himself getting stabbed. I don’t think the old Hibiki would have been able to comfort Hajime but this new and improved Hibiki was definitely able to comfort and calm him down. She’s not 100% mature yet as at one point she offers to lose her virginity to him, and despite certain lemony Anons wanting to see some spicy action, Hajime was like ‘No, just no’ and stated that no sexual matters will take place until they become 18, which in Japan is the legal age of sexual consent, and protection will be used.
Hibiki’s new fighting prowess had two intense trials throughout Session 2. The first is in Hide and Seek when she had to fight against Monaca’s robots. While she had the option of either joining Chiaki’s group in stopping Monaca from aging herself to death, or joining Hajime’s group in taking down Genocider Syo, she decided that she didn’t want to take on another serial killer, especially after being told that unlike her sister, Genocider Syo actually has some teeth to her and not just that one sprite of hers, and besides, Monaca is hellbent on making herself a adult and given her prowess in robotics, the likelihood of Team Monaca having to fend off robots are high and that group didn’t have a lot of fighters on them. She was able to seriously do a number on the robots, seeing as Chiaki and Emma get seriously injured at various points, Sora is more or less nullified due to the Anti A.I. Black boxes and Kyoji isn’t really a fighter, making her the main fighter on the team. Though like everyone, she is angry that they failed and Monaca is now a biological teenager, though thankfully not that deformed or dead, and that Emma’s and Chiaki’s injuries were for nothing. This again also showed how much she matured as while angry about it, especially about the fact that the aged-up Monaca is again taller than her, cursing her to always be the shortest female, she didn’t get too angry about it as Monaca clearly regrets her decisions and it’s a product of being in a very unhealthy environment and now that she is under Kyoji’s care, it’s not going to happen anymore.
But of course, the biggest test for her was in Twisted Sister, when Kanade was released from prison by Juu and via the aid of a mysterious person who might be a time traveller but one with darker goals then Hajime and co, was giving serious weaponry, technology and combat prowess. With this she was able to tear a bloody path through the Hope’s Peak halls and decimate any Hope’s Peak people who gets in her way. Upon finding out that her sister has broken free from prison and is on her way to ‘reclaim’ her, Hibiki’s first thoughts was to get some armour and then charge in to attack Kanade and just in time as she managed to incapacitate a grief stricken and enraged Nikei, and had just recharged herself with some Red Bull X. Not only is Kanade her own twin sister who she has zigzagged between being utterly terrified of to blaming herself for the monster she turned out to be, but thanks to the upgrades she became an equal match to Hibiki. In addition, this also says a lot about Hibiki herself because Kanade had advanced weaponry, dosed up on an addictive that could kill sleep for a week, advanced armour AND was able to defeat Sonia, Akane, Nekomaru AND Peko who all ganged on her with little to no effort, and yes she had been weakened by Nikei beforehand but said addictive rendered most of his attacks moot point, and despite ALL of that, Hibiki was able to equal with her and eventually with the help of Hajime, finally defeat her. And I didn’t mention the ‘puppet state’ because she never not even once regressed back into that, more or less confirming that is dead. Then again, the ‘puppet state’ may have not that hard to break as Kanade’s main motive for killing Setsuka in SDRA2 is that she could have reversed all the damage that Kanade had done to Hibiki and years of hard work, gone within a few weeks or so. And our lovely ronin sword-wielding vocalist had about 3 months to break the ‘puppet state’. While Kanade’s rampage was eradicated thanks to the third reset, the first one done on purpose, even in the current timeline when Kanade gets beaten deathless, Hibiki was able to knock a gun from Kanade’s hand, throw tear gas in to blind her and direct the rest of Class 77-B, and Juzo, into piling on Kanade and knocking her out, this being the last time we see old Kanade.
But despite all the carnage and pain that Kanade dealt her, there is still a part of Hibiki that cares for her like a sister and wishes for the Kanade she thought she knew back. And she got her chance when Yasuke offered to mindwipe Kanade and turn her into a gentlehearted girl. While the QC were deeply divided on the issue, when Hibiki was offered her input, she said that she was conflicted. Part of her wanted her sister back and Yasuke could quite literally grant her deepest desire at that point, but she is also aware that this is a form of execution, as while physically Kanade is still alive the Kanade that had existed prior to this is dead and never coming back, hopefully. As she isn’t a thinker like some of the QC members and understands the deep moral and ethical divides between them, she decides to hold a vote and whatever wins is the one they go for. Of course, the readers voted for Kanade to be mindwiped, and thus Yasuke got to work remaking Kanade while Hibiki helped to round up the other criminals that got out. I’m not dwelling too much on this as we’ve seen Hibiki’s greatest physical feat already and if she could take out swabs of armed headmen to some traffickers, escaped convicts shouldn’t be hard to deal with. Once the carnage dies down and we move into the Twisted Sister Aftermath Arc, Hibiki is hit with immense guilt. While she is grateful for that the sister she thought she had is back, she also knows what had to be done to ensure this occurs. But now that Kanade is back, she could make amendments as she was a rotten sister to Kanade beforehand and now she could try to reconnect with her, preventing her monstrous self from resurfacing itself. Of course, she has to juggle being with Kanade with also being a member of the Cuddle Puddle and general hero work, but life is never dull when you are with the Quantum Crew.

Ghost of the Past
Chapter 1
Wedgeherst was a quaint town; almost as quaint as the neighboring town, Postwick. The two routes that separated the two towns were also tame enough for a few people to live peacefully without being bothered by Pokemon, the regional professor was a prime example of that fact. A five year old Leon was too far gone in his own excitement to listen to his mother's exasperated demands. Sonia had told him that someone was moving into the empty house next door to her and her grandmother, the professor. It was a new person to get to know! A new kid to play with! Hopefully. The purple haired child found himself wondering if the new kid liked Pokemon; if they wanted to be a trainer as badly as he and Sonia did; if they had the same drive of learning about Pokemon that they did.
"Leon," his mother says with a sigh, pulling the five year old out of his childlike reverie of thoughts. The child looked up at his mother expectedly, his large, innocent eyes still brimmed with obvious excitement as his mother held his attention for the moment. "Please be on your best behavior for the Professor."
"Okay, Mum!" said Leon excitedly, an innocent grin on his face. His excitement was followed by a happy cry from the Charmander Leon had got a week prior for his birthday. "I'll see you later, Mum!"
"Be safe dear!" She called after her son as he ran out of the front door of the house, the small fire-lizard following his trainer. He had so much energy for a five-year-old, Amaya couldn't be any prouder. However, being pregnant with her second child; dealing with her first born's ever existing excitement and endless energy was exhausting for Amaya. Amaya could hear the faint 'I will!' from Leon as she began preparing lunch for Leon, Sonia, and the new child in the neighborhood.
Leon had met up with Sonia halfway to her house at the end of Route 2, she was just as excited as Leon was. To say the least, being the only two kids in the neighborhood was boring, so their excitement was justified. Sonia's Yamper was walking behind them with Charmander; excited, but nervous cries from the Pokemon could be heard as they made their way through the route.
"Grandma said that the neighbors are from a region called Kanto," said Sonia, her turquoise eyes shining with a certain curiosity about her new neighbor. "It's far, far away from here."
"Nevermind that, Sonia!" exclaimed Leon, who caused the ginger female and the Pokemon to jump slightly at the sudden loudness of his voice, as he was quiet up to that point. A quiet Leon was oftentimes a dangerous Leon. "Was there a kid there?"
"Yes, Leon," Sonia sighed with a shake of her head, clearly exasperated with her friend. She didn't understand her friend's thought process sometimes. "A kid around our age."
"Boy or girl?"
"Should it matter?"
"Not really," Leon answered as they approached the two houses at the end of Route 2.
Leon was familiar with the Magnolia household as he frequently visited it; the home always gave him a warm feeling, much like his own. The neighboring house, not so much. Despite the house being on the same path that led from Wedgehurst, it always gave the two children a sense of uneasiness as they passed by it each day; and it was to remain unknown to the children as to what caused that sense of dread and uneasiness. With the overgrown weeds, the trees that never seemed to have leaves, no matter the season; the two often speculated that the house was haunted and that it was filled to the brim with super rare ghost Pokemon. Another wild speculation that the two had come up with was that a homeless person lived in the house and eventually died in the house, causing the spirit to be bound to the house. However, the children’s imagination always ran rampant when they found themselves wondering about things they shouldn’t be thinking about. With their Pokemon by their sides, the two hopeful, but scared five year olds steeled their nerves and headed towards the now lived in house.
The Pokemon Moving Company Machoke dutifully did their job as they moved boxes from the moving truck and to the house. The two five year olds looked around for someone human, but not a soul was in sight, despite the door of the house being open.
"Hello?" Sonia called into the eerily silent house, her voice wavering slightly due to nervousness.
"Marionette, dear, can you see who's at the door?" came a tired female voice from further into the home. It obviously belonged to someone much older than Sonia and Leon, most likely Marionette's mother; whoever she was. Following the voice was the soft pitter pattering of sock covered feet against the wooden floor. Not a moment later, a girl with dark brown hair and matching eyes entered the living room, seemingly from the kitchen. She just looked at Sonia and Leon with a blank expression as a strange puppet-like Pokemon floated over her head. It wouldn't be until much later that week that the duo learned the curious puppet Pokemon was called Shuppet, a Pokemon native to the Hoenn region. "Marionette?"
A second round of soft pitter pattering of feet ensued as an older woman emerged from the staircase on the left of the three children. The woman looked just like the girl, Marionette. Dark brown hair; albeit with graying streaks, dark brown eyes that almost looked black and a fair complexion. "Oh, you must be the neighbor's granddaughter, she did mention she had a granddaughter."
"A-Ah, yes, that's me," Sonia said with a nervous chuckle as she avoided eye contact with the strange girl, her equally strange Pokemon and her mother. It wasn't like Sonia to be this nervous with strangers, Leon noted. "M-My name is Sonia, this is Leon. He lives a couple of towns over."
"I can introduce myself," Leon grumbled, but he still had a smile on his face as the strange girl named Marionette let a small smile peak through her blank expression.
"Go play with the neighbors, Marionette," the woman said as she smiled down at the girl, who nodded. Leon and Sonia took this as a sign to leave the mysterious house with its strange homeowner.
"So your name's Marionette?" Sonia asked as soon as the trio left the formerly abandoned home and began walking along the route. Marionette nodded at this as she looked at the scenery that surrounded her house. The surrounding scenery was certainly brighter compared to the gloominess of the house, that much was obvious. Upon closer inspection, Marionette was far paler than she let on when the duo first met her inside the house; it was like she didn't get an ounce of sunshine. "Is there a nickname you'd like us to call you?"
"What's a nickname?" asked Marionette, who looked confused and curious at the question.
"You don't know what a nickname is?" retorts Leon, who looked bewildered at the statement. Marionette shook her head at this.
"The kids in my hometown were named after colors," Marionette explains softly. It dawned on the two Galar born children that (in their childlike innocence, of course) they wanted to make this sad girl happy. "And my mother always called me by my full name."
"A nickname is a shortened version of your name!" Leon explained in a surprising burst of excitement. The burst caused a surprised squeak to escape Marionette and Sonia to yell at Leon for scaring the poor girl. He ignored Sonia's burst of anger and continued his explanation. "Like you can call me Lee!"
"But your name is already short as is?" Marionette countered questioningly with a tilt of her head. "Why shorten it by a letter?"
"It's a symbol of our friendship," Leon explained as they reached Wedgehurst. The town itself supplied all the traveling trainers needs; a Pokemon Center that held the item shop, the man that taught your Pokemon any forgotten moves, and of course, the ever loving Nurse Joy that looked the exact same in every location. There was also a boutique, of course; for those who enjoyed the change of pace of shopping for clothes.
"You want to be friends with me?" questioned Marionette as the trio made their way to the Pokemon Research Lab.
"Of course we do, silly," says Sonia with a bright smile on her round, childish face. "It'd be lonely to not have any friends, right Leon?"
"Right," says the male in question, who had begun thinking about something. He was quickly pulled out of his thoughts as an imaginary lightbulb went off above his head. "I know! How about we call you Mari? It'd be short for your really long name!"
"Mari, huh?" questioned the ginger female, twisting a short lock of hair in thought. She couldn't help but nod in agreement. "It's short and cute, I like it. I didn't think you could pull off something like a cute nickname, Leon."
"O-Oi, leave me alone, Sonia," Leon whined as a pout began to form on his five year old face. Though he knew Sonia was only poking fun at him, Leon would do the same thing to her in a heartbeat.
"I like it," Marionette softly says, blushing slightly as the two turned to face her, stopping in mid-conversation to smile at her. While the pale girl with the dancing ghost Pokemon didn't talk much, it was obvious that they would become quick friends.
-
The champion of Galar was deep in thought as a certain Dark-type Gym Leader aimlessly followed him in the streets of Hammerlocke. While Piers was glad to see his friend again, the rockstar hates getting lost, especially on one of his rare days off from gym work and recording.
"What's on your mind, mate?" Piers asks, adjusting his leather jacket. Piers might've looked stupid to a lot of people, but the rockstar slash gym leader (an extremely exhausted one at that) was far more perceptive than he let on. "And don't say it's nothing either, your lying abilities are just as shitty as your sense of direction."
"Just thinking about an old friend, is all," answers the champion honestly. Leon could barely remember his childhood after Hop was born, yet the memory he suddenly remembered was in such vivid detail; it was almost like he experienced it yesterday. "Speaking of an old friend, you'll be meeting her today, in fact. Don't worry about it, she's just as weird and creepy as you are."
"I'm not creepy nor am I weird," Piers snaps, a glare forming on his already intimidating face. However, he couldn't keep the glare with the honest grin crossing Leon's face; almost like Piers wasn’t the first person to tell him that. Not the shit eating one Leon usually donned when he was in trouble, but one that actually meant well. "This better not be a waste of my time. I've got better things to be doing."
"Yeah, yeah," Leon says sarcastically with a wave of his hand as he made a sudden stop, which almost causes Piers to bump into the purple haired man at full force if he didn't stop beforehand. "I think this is the right place."
"You think?" questions Piers as he looks at the front of the establishment. They spent the last ten minutes looking for a cafe that some strange girl works at or frequents often. The outside of the cafe itself was quaint enough, it had a few tables and chairs for outdoor lounging and Piers could only imagine what the inside looked like.
"You coming?" Leon asks, pulling the rockstar out his thoughts. The champion was holding the door for the pale male, which causes him to blush and enter the establishment. The inside was rustic with its warm browns, taupes, and creams filling the place. The place honestly reminded Piers of the buildings in Turffield.
"Lee!" came an excited female voice, which pulls the Dark type trainer out of his thoughts. Man, what was up with him and his thoughts today? The female voice seems to cause a strange Pokemon to jump into Leon's arms, causing the said male to laugh in amusement. Why does the Pokemon look like a creepy doll?
"Come on Banette, back to your mother," Leon says with a smile as the Pokemon let out an excited cry before returning to its trainer.
"Geez, I know you're excited to see him, but not in front of so many people, it's embarrassing," the same female voice said, scolding her Pokemon like an actual child. The talking female had long blond hair that was tucked into a black beanie, dark brown, almost black eyes, and extremely fair skin that put Piers' to shame. Almost immediately, Piers could tell that her hair wasn't naturally blond, due to the darker roots peeking out from under her beanie. "Anyways, I'm glad you got here at a decent time. You and your sense of direction is absolutely shit, Leon."
"Only ten minutes late. I think that's a new record," Sonia teases as she looks down at the time on her phone.
"Definitely a new record, I'll say," laughs Nessa as she sipped on her drink.
"I do not get lost," Leon counters with a grin as he leads Piers to sit with them. Not like the rockstar had a choice in the matter, anyways. Raihan, Nessa, and Sonia were all familiar to him, Leon included; so why was the faux blond female the only stranger to him? Piers would certainly remember someone with blond hair and such a unique Pokemon.
"Oh, Piers, this is Marionette," Raihan said as the said girl shyly waved at the rockstar before returning to her conversation with Nessa and Sonia.
"Not going to bother introducing me, eh?" Piers grumbles as he rests his chin on the palm of his hand, seemingly bored. He was ready to go home and be productive, not. Piers would have wasted his day away, sleeping, if Leon hadn't barged into his home in Spikemuth at 8:30 that morning.
"She already knows who you are, dumbass," Raihan sighs with a shake of his head.
"Not only is she a big fan of your music, but she also used to be a gym leader," Leon was the one to speak this time, causing Piers to look at him curiously, indicating for the champion to continue. "Stow-on-Side Gym to be exact. She retired a few months ago, though."
"Quit acting like I'm not here," Marionette retorts sarcastically as she turns in her chair to face the three men, who looked like deer caught in headlights. The three women giggled after sharing a knowing look. "I retired from being a gym leader because I wanted to pursue other things. Allister is doing a fine job running the gym, don't you think?"
"I didn't say anything, though," says Piers, a look of bewilderment on his face.
"You didn't have to," the faux blond female states with a small smile on her face. "Your face said it all. Ness, Sonia, would you like to join me for some shopping?" A string of 'hell yeah' and 'obviously,' choruses throughout the small group of females as they got up and waved at the men when they finally left the cafe after getting new drinks for the road.
"Is she always that cryptic?" Piers mutters as he watched the retreating figures of the three females through the window of the cafe, his head now laying on the table. They were a strange group of friends, Piers had to admit. Hell, if Leon and Raihan could befriend Piers, they could befriend someone as strange as Marionette.
"She's been like that since we were kids," Leon says, a frown on his usually bright face. "Marionette predicted the gender of Mum's baby when she was 3 months pregnant with Hop."
"Maybe she said it to fuck with your Mum?" Raihan counters with a nervous chuckle.
"We were five."
"Really?"
"Really," says Leon, sipping on the cup of overly sweet coffee that he had gotten when the two arrived. "There was no way she could've known that my mother was pregnant with Hop. She had just moved here from Kanto."
"She isn't from here?" Piers asks, as he had been quietly listening to the conversation between the two colored males. "But her accent."
"It's fake for the most part, yeah?" Raihan hums to himself, causing Leon to nod. "I wouldn't know, though. I only met her a couple of months ago."
"Where at?" Piers asks, humming slightly in interest. He didn't bother picking up his head, as he found himself comfortable.
"We met through Nessa, though," Raihan says with a matching hum. He has a distant look on his face, which looks odd on Raihan's usually cocky features. "Marionette said she participated in the Gym Challenge ten years ago. Which is strange, because I would remember seeing someone as unique as her."

Here’s part two of this long read/reader insert! If you wanna read part one, here it is:
Once Upon A Dream: Leon x Reader (Part 2)
Leon
It’s been about two weeks since Leon last met Y/N in the Slumbering Weald. After their sudden encounter, Leon could not stop thinking about them. Their image lingers in his mind with their worn out dress and odd mannerisms, but nonetheless sweet disposition. There have been a few times that Leon thought about going back into the Slumbering Weald in hopes to bump into them again, but decided that maybe it would be best to not bother searching for them. They are nothing more but acquaintances, yet Leon sort felt something to this person that had his curiosity peaked. He was just having a hard time going back and forth in wanting to find Y/N. And in some ways, Leon wonders if Y/N thought the same way, given that they never crossed paths with another person before. It’s a question Leon has been asking lately, but can only carry on with his day without knowing Y/N’s answer directly. He didn’t want to come off as nosy or annoying, but the question has beckoned him multiple times, to the point where returning to the Slumbering Weald has been very tempting.
He couldn’t really explain to anyone what happened, because hardly anyone believed that a person would live in the forbidden forest. Hop would believe it because he’s a kid who will believe in anything whereas Gloria and Sonia would be a lot more doubtful to the notion of someone living in the forest. They would think that Leon would be making this all up, offering a few words of dismissal and telling him that his mind must be playing tricks on him. Which Leon can understand, because how can anyone believe that a person is living in the Slumbering Weald, blissfully unaware of modern civilization and acts as if they are in a fairytale.
Fairytale.
That word always popped into Leon’s head every time he thought about Y/N. Her entire demeanor and appearance gave way to a classic princess in a fairytale that immediately makes them stand out as either a oddball or a pleasant delusional stuck in their fantasy storybook. There were so many questions that had so many answers, but theorizing would only make them convoluted and make little sense. Either way, Leon found Y/N to be both pleasant and an oddball, but still a good person who happened to have great sense of direction. He just hopes that he is able to cross paths with Y/N again, if he ever gets the chance. Or if another Wooloo gets let loose. Whichever comes first.
Y/N
The Slumbering Weald had a stillness that made Y/N’s surroundings feel a bit sparse. Visiting Rookidee and Skowvet would pass through, their movements swift yet quiet so as to not disturb the larger Pokémon residents that were lounging about on this warm afternoon. Y/N strolled through the winding path, empty basket in hand, going on another Berry trip. Her usual errand. Given the deepest part of the forest held the most Berries, Y/N traverses her way through the forest’s fog as she reached closer to the Berry tree grove. Her bare feet brushed across the cool almost damp terrain, the leaves crunching beneath her as she ambled onward. During the trip, Y/N’s mind wandered, as it tends to do whenever she takes long walk. Her mind instantly treaded towards Leon, the first person whom she met out of nowhere, talked, and helped.
His distinct violet hair and piercing yellow eyes appeared vividly in the depths of her thoughts, the way he looked at her with such surprise and intrigue. Y/N asked so many questions to herself about Leon and remembered the conversation they had a couple weeks back. His strange clothing and the Pokéballs that Y/N mistook as stones were something unlike she had seen before. Being raised in the Slumbering Weald by her mother, Y/N was not aware of other people coming and going from the forest and she certainly was unaware that was a village outside from where she lived. Y/N knew about villages and kingdoms from her mother, given that her mother is the only person who could travel in and out of the Slumbering Weald easily. Y/N wasn’t allowed to tag along, because in the words of her mother “she wasn’t ready yet,”
And never the one who would disobey her mother, Y/N listened and stayed put. However, after that encounter with Leon, Y/N could not help but wonder what everything was like outside of her forested world. Potswick? Wedgehurst? Those were names that Y/N has never heard of before, much less known about until Leon mentioned them. Every night, Y/N would lie awake and stare up at her bedroom ceiling, bombarded with questions that yearn to be answered. If being this curious could land her in trouble, then would it be a risk worth taking if Y/N wanders out of the Slumbering Weald for a day? This has been a back and forth consideration that Y/N would absolutely exhaust over, mainly because of the thought of Leon reappearing in those aforementioned villages made her excited. Still, despite the excitement, Y/N remained obedient to her mother’s wishes and tried to bury those thoughts in the back of her conscious. As she does this, her mind snaps back to the path where it made a turn towards the Berry trees.
With all of that thinking, Y/N approached the nearest Berry tree and gave it a gentle shake. A few berries dropped down from their branches, landing squarely in the basket with an audible ‘plop!’ While Y/N continued shaking the tree, she heard a few scampering feet behind her softly. Turning around, Y/N saw a couple of Skwovvets and a Rookiedee standing behind her, their faces bright and expectant. Smiling softly, Y/N bent down and lowered her basket to allow the neighboring Pokémon to have a snack, with which they happily accepted.
“You three are always here when I make a Berry run. Is it because you three want me to pick the ripest Berries for you?”
All three chimed a yes and quickly gobbled down the Berries hungrily. Y/N stood up and looked over at the other Berry trees and sighed deeply. Both Skwovets and Rookiedee peered up to see Y/N gazing at the Berry trees intently.
“Do you three sometimes leave the forest?” She asked, her voice quiet, almost a whisper.
The Rookiedee flapped its miniature wings and flew over to Y/N, who proceeded to lend her finger to let the small bird rest.
“Seems you lot have it easy. You can go anywhere you want with no rules and no one to hold you back. I’m so envious,”
The Skwvoets scampered over, each one climbing up onto Y/N’s shoulders, wanting to listen in on the girl’s conversation.
“I met someone a few weeks ago, you know!” Y/N said, her voice shifting to a giddy tone. “Another person who I never seen before; can you believe that!”
All three Pokémon chimed a response, their cries excited and wanting all the details.
“They came here to find a stray Wooloo that wandered in here. The poor dear was scared stiff but they managed to find their owner. They told me that their name is Leon, former Champion of the Galar region. Did you know that the Galar kingdom had a Champion? I thought it we only had a king and queen, but certainly no mention of a Champion!”
Y/N walked around for a bit before settling down on a nearby rock. She pulled her basket close to her and peered down at the remaining Berries inside.
“He was dressed kind of funny too. A ‘hoodie’, as he called it. A-And he also had these things called Pokéballs, which I thought looked like pretty stones. What are Pokéballs? Do you three know?”
All three Pokémon shook their heads in unison.
Y/N giggled and picked up a random Berry from her basket, turning it around occasionally.
“There’s a village nearby named Potswick and another one named Wedgehurst. Cute little names they are! I would love to visit them someday. Who knows? I might bump into Leon again by some lucky chance! That is, if he remembers me,”
Y/N sticks the Berry back into the basket and stands up slowly, dusting herself off a bit.
“Well, I hope he comes by again. Would love to talk to him again!”
The two Skowvets and Rookiedee head over to Y/N once again, wanting to follow her back to her home. She giggled a bit and shook her head.
“You know how my mother gets when she sees you three. I don’t want you to get hurt or startled,” she said, bending down to give the squirrel Pokémon a quick pet on the head and a gentle stroke for Rookiedee. All three Pokémon sighed but nodded, dismayed but understood. After watching all three Pokémon head back into the bushes, Y/N turned on her heel and back down the same path from which she travelled, basket half empty but her thoughts wholeheartedly full.
((Okay, part two is up! I might do some other long reads but this one here will be a continuous series and I might put this on Wattpad or something for everyone to read))

Tumblr media
@monsieur-de-paris asked:  Meta Mun ^.^
Send in ‘Meta Mun’ and the Mun will give commentary about the blog!
Tumblr media
When I started writing this blog a little over a year ago, I really just wanted to write. Write a lot of IC interactions and just see where Sonia and other muses took various threads and prompts. And while that was a challenge at first (being new with little history in the indie community, finding partners was hard!), I ended up noticing that in contrast to a lot of the blogs I was following and starting to interact with, there was a glaring difference between mine and theirs.
Headcanons. Everybody had headcanons! From personal histories to why a muse only ate a certain food, they were everywhere! And I was overwhelmed. Being new to writing Sonia and the indie RP community here, I hadn't given much thought to the 'why' of her background, but instead slowly building off the little information that the video game and anime canon gives about her (particularly in regards to Novoselic). From headcanons on Mundays to headcanon memes, I felt very self-conscious about it all. I didn't know every minute detail about my muse! Would others still want to write with me?
What helped, eventually, were threads where Sonia's background, her home, and her family weren't just obscure people and places she spoke about. In most of my canon school life threads, Sonia attends Hope's Peak Academy in Japan's fictional Towa City, where she's one of the few foreigners who proudly speaks of strange (to the other Danganronpa muses and the muns as well) traditions, primarily focused the country's wildlife. But actually placing threads in Novoselic (modern/contemporary threads, mostly) where I'd have to introduce some NPCs that play a significant role in her life, the differences in her activities and attitude at home in comparison with when she travels, and just how 'abnormal' it all is compared to her friends...that was what helped me write headcanons.
That said, I don't really publish a lot of them? At least not as headcanons. I usually put details here and there in threads when I think it makes sense, whether for Sonia to reveal it herself or it's information I think the other mun should know. For topics that come up a lot, particularly in the sense of 'Where the heck is Novoselic located in Europe anyway/why are their 'hidden' exports so popular/why do they all like anime and Japanese culture?,' I found that writing OOC headcanons for those and posting them helped. But otherwise, I just keep a running list of facts and faces in a google document and pull from things/edit things as needed. And as I get other crossovers and verses, particularly historical AUs and talentswap!AUs, I keep a separate list of HCs.
I guess there's a small part of me that assumes most followers don't mind/enjoy reading IC content, but the moment there's too much OOC (whether that's memes or HCs or something else) content, it's less likely to be read? HC ask memes help with that, though there's plenty of times I get asked about an HC that I don't have a firm answer for (yet!).

DAY 3 : Talent Swap
I don’t have time to write a fic today so I’ll just do Headcanons!
-Gundham first got into mechanics not through cars but through ghost hunting show. Soon enough he was building his own IR lightbox and other essential tool to hunt the paranormal.
-Hope’s Peak discover him thanks to vlog and article he made about his research. Like in canon he considers his main talent to be his link to the spiritual world and not his mechanics.
-Kazuichi first start taking care of animal in primary school. He found a small squirrel who was nearly dying of hypothermia. He managed to warm him up.
-Animal doesn’t like him at first, but he was too stubborn to renounce. He counts on his instinct to understand them and what not to do.
-When they first meet Gundham was investigating the farm because he noticed a cat fixing a wall without moving. When Kazuichi asked what he was doing Gundham told him that animals had a better perception of the supernatural than human and he was checking if there wasn’t any ghost in here. Kazuichi reacted as well as you may imagine.
-Gundham get used to ‘take for a walk’ some animals when he went ghost hunting. Kazuichi called it straight up kidnapping. When Gundham won the affection of the four hamster he was taking care of he ranted about it to anyone who would listen the month that followed.
-Kazuichi name the animals after super sentai show he watch as a kid.
-When Gundham took a liking to Kazuichi he started to drag him along in his ghost hunt under the pretense that the animals would be more reassured if the Ultimate breeder were with them.
-When Kazuichi started to like him back he started to invite him when he had to travel to far away countries like Argentina or Kenya ‘if he wanted to see the spirits of these places by himself’.
-Everyone except the main concerned saw right through it and quite seriously couldn’t believe it how dense they were.
-As ultimate despair (Yes I’m doing it!) Gundham used his technology to build Monokuma at Junko’s demand, but, he also used his ghost hunting tool to prove the existence of ghost and demons and show that even in the after life you couldn’t escape despair. And giant robot too. Because to have ghost you first need dead people, preferably people who died suddenly and painfully, and a giant robot filled the part nicely.
-Kazuichi on the other hand took a liking of creating a human zoo that would be visited only by animals and human safari where they would end up trampled to death or eaten alive.
-It’s during that time they ‘got together’ if you can call it that. It was an abusive relationship driven by the belief the other didn’t reciprocated their own feeling. The other Ultimate despair who knew better were delighted to watch the show.
-In the Neo world program their first meeting goes a bit differently. They are introduced to each other on the beach but they don’t really talk up until Gundham surprised Kazuichi trying to get in the Old Lodge before they got the permission from Usami. He warns him about angering the spirits (as he thought Usami to be one) and they soon fall back in their old habit.
-In his version Gundham uses his talents with mechanics to kill Nidai. The rest goes the same except for the fact that Chihiro was alive in his version and they were the one to restore their avatar because ‘Seriously guys the data doesn’t just disappear in thin air’.
-When they woke up their relationship is in shambles. Kazuichi didn’t remember what he did as ultimate despair but Gundham did and couldn’t handle what he did to him and what Kazuichi did to him too. Is the second one who died to woke up after Mikan. As soon as he is up and about he joined force with Chihiro to wake the others, and to avoid Kazuichi.
-Kazuichi feel pretty much abandoned between Hinata who’s not completely himself and Gundham who refuse to interact with him he’s left alone to discover what he did as a Ultimate despair.
-Kazuichi starts to go alone in Jabberwock Island wilderness to find animals who might need his help since it feels like humans doesn’t want him with them. One evening he doesn’t go back to his room.
-Owari the first to notice his absence when she saw there was one ration of the day left in the fridge. When she tells the other Everyone freaked out. Gundham was nearly excluded of the search party because he was so frantic everyone thought he was reverting back to be an Ultimate despair.
-As it turned out Kazuichi was one miles behind the ruins of the farm, helping a bear giving birth to her cub. How or why there was a bear on his island no one could tell, but it was the end of the world so it was far from the craziest thing out there.
-Gundham let his displeasure with the situation known very loudly. It escalated into a fight that ended up with him punching Kazuichi in the face and having an immediate mental breakdown when he saw the look of fear in the other eyes. Naegi and the other call Gekkohara to the rescue after that.
-It took month of therapy before Gundham agreed to shared séance with Kazuichi to open up on their relationship as Ultimate Despair. It was horrifying to Kazuichi at first, but he did his best to not show it too much in front of Gundham. After a lot of séance Kazuichi told Gundham that he was probably thinking the mechanic didn’t loved him back and it was why he agreed to be in such a toxic affair, not just to inflict despair on Gundham through abuse.
-Gundham doesn’t believe him at first, but when he talks about it with Sonia and Mahiru the two confirm what Kazuichi said.
-Two years after the start of his therapy Gundham properly confess to Kazuichi and they start to date. They chose to take things slowly and they continue to see Gekkohara.
-Gundham started to develop machines that’ll work with exorcism to free all the spirits that were created by the Incident as well than rehabilitate energy central and communication.
-Kazuichi tamed some animal to help with repaired and rescue to compensate the places when they lacked material and technology until his lover could construct the machine necessary.
-They married ten years after the Incident in New Novoselic, Sonia is the one that marry them of course. Hinata is Kazuichi’s witness and Gekkohara is Gudham’s since Sonia can’t play two roles at once.
And that should be it! I’m finishing school at 1:30 pm tomorrow so I’ll have more time to write but I may do headcanons again to start working on Day 5. Anyway, hoped you enjoyed!

ibuki headcanons!!!
had a scene phase and never outgrew it
plays minecraft. building off of @tenkolesbians hc for chiaki i think she runs a minecraft server w/ chiaki for the class. (more info on team chiaki and ibuki later!)
loves memes. has a group chat for the class where she just sends them memes.
she’s super outgoing, wants to see the best in everyone, and wants to get along with everyone, so you know you’re a fucked up person when she doesnt want to be your friend (applies heavily to teruteru & souda)
bc of this she’s super close to almost everyone in her class! she’s always trying to find some way to bring them together, and she even thinks some of her classmates would be cute couples, so she ends up trying to matchmake them
shes a lesbian and also polyamarous but she’s chill w/ being in a monogamous relationship too. all the matters is that she’s in love
her makeup skillz & instrument talents are all self taught
she has a journal where she jots down lyrics for songs if she gets hit with Sudden Inspiration
her horns are like. almost sentient. they get droopy when she’s sad and perk up when she’s happy. kind of like hiyokos pigtails
she likes to work with chiaki over class rep matters, and hosts a lot of class parties. they always end up being chaotic because its ibuki but people still have fun and that’s what matters!
a matter of fact ibuki basically. shares the role of class rep w/ chiaki. ibuki is much better with people anyway but ibuki wouldnt dare take over the role so they work together!
ibuki was the first of her classmates to come out. when they first came to hopes peak they were all kind of tense & nervous bc they didnt know each other & stuff but they all ended up being lgbt w/ the exception of souda
the only problem w/ this though is that ibuki flirts with the girls a lot and none of them can tell if she’s actually being genuine or if she’s just being ibuki
ibuki LOVES reptiles. especially snakes. she has one at home
ibuki isn’t an only child. she has a couple of younger siblings and she has gay moms
her childhood was really good but chaotic. her moms are nice and supportive bc loving ur child is IN.
she has adhd
ibuki is one of the best people to go to if you’re having troubles. she gives the best advice. this is bc despite her Ibuki Attitude she knows when to drop her quirks and take things seriously.
but she’s also known to give advice w/ her quirks too, but she saves that for lighthearted stuff. after the killing game she gets really serious when people vent to her about their guilt or what haunts them
ibuki doesn’t like holding grudges; when she wakes up from her coma she forgives mikan like, immediately.
during her school years she noticed chiaki, peko and mikan were having trouble making friends so she made it her Personal Mission to be their best friend and help them get closer w/ their other classmates
obviously she has a soft spot for those 3 girls but she loves all her classmates except for teruteru and souda. she especially loves hiyoko for her tsundere attitude and she thinks mahiru is the perfect mom friend and gundam is her Chaotic Partner in Crime
akane, sonia, and peko are her gym buddies. she loves to work out just for fun!
she actually has depression. she feels like she’s supposed to be happy all the time so she usually masks it but she tries her goddamn hardest! mahiru’s got her back & gives the best advice giver the best advice.
ibuki kinddd of gets a crush on mikan & peko and goes to mahiru all screaming & troubled bc yes IBUKI is poly but what if THEY arent
turns out mikan & peko are perfectly fine with “sharing” ibuki but then slowly peko and mikan fall in love with each other too so its a perfect poly relationship where they all love each other
hajime & the imposter keep her from going all over the place and overexerting herself etc.
she really misses being in a band & she tries to start one w/ the twilight syndrome girls. they suck at it
turns out sonia really likes screamo. sonia appears in some of her singles
ibuki loves gaming. she loves undertale. she loves minecraft. she loves lis. chiaki introduces her to a ton more games.
she also loves bandori and love live
also she’s online friends with sayaka and gets SO excited when she finds out she’ll be her underclassman next year
she loves sailor moon. and naruto
before chisa was teacher she skipped class a lot basically bc she got so BORED of waiting for kizakura all the time. so she just went back to her dorm and practiced her instruments and thought about how gay she was
her hair is dyed & she probably wears contacts but i couldnt tell u what her natural colors are(also her eyebrows are drawn on. she makes them Pink for Aesthetic. probably shaved them like jenna marbles)
but if u were to guess you’d probably say dark, dark brown or dark teal. maybe her eyes are silver? blue? purple? only peko and mikan know!
ibuki really misses chiaki when she dies :~( plays a lot of games in her memory and cries about it a whole lot and feels really guilty for some reason and then when she finds out that souda, chihiro & miu worked 2gether to make chiaki a new Robot Body w/ her information from the game ibuki cries a whole lot and hugs chiaki and is a real melodramatic mess (thank u to @tenkolesbian and that one fic i read for the inspiration of this hc)
diys a lot of her clothes. also has a ton of merch and fashion from hot topic
her room is kind of. a mess. peko & mikan help her clean it once a week or so
loves trying funky new hair styles!!! Braids!! Pigtails!!!! Buns!!!! every now and then she’ll go get a new thing of hair dye and then everyone begs her to change it back bc she looks so strange
really lovey dovey & touchy... she likes to kiss her girlfriends and cuddle with them and have any excuse to be close. She likes to steal pekos glasses as an excuse to kiss her nose before giving them back & she likes to kiss mikans birthmark
a surprisingly good cook? obviously not shsl worthy or else teruteru wouldnt exist but she lovesss cooking, especially baking. she loves domestic life in general. sign her up
also loves to travel. likes to go to concerts and cons. likes to go to carnivals. just get her out of the house!!!
her relationship with peko & mikan is really healthy for her gfs bc she encourages them to go out of their comfort zone while respecting their boundaries and reassures them that their trauma & mental illness dont define them, and help them cope with their issues.
will chiaki join the party?!?! stay tuned bc maybe ill make chiaki hcs
has no volume or impulse control
im so sorry this became SO long but ibuki is the best sdr2 character

Komahina 6, please :)
6 - giving a lap dance
It is the first party organized on the island where everyone can participate - Pekoyama, the last one to wake up, has left the hospital a few days before - and things are going well. The girls are especially enthusiastic, dancing and having fun with each other in the middle of the dance-floor, but everyone seems in a good mood… except for Kazuichi who is taking his fill of liquid courage before going on ‘offensive mode’ whatever that means. Him and Hinata are sitting on one of the comfy couches that had been pushed on the corners of the room before the party.
“Another one !” the pink-haired boy claims, pouring himself a drink Then, looking at Hajime’s glass, he tsk-tsks. “You’re too slow, soul-friend. Hurry up so I can fill it nice and good !”
Hinata chuckles. He isn’t drunk and doesn’t intend to be, but he is already pleasantly buzzed thanks to Kazuichi.
“No thanks, I’m stopping here, I don’t want to be sick tomorrow.” Like last time, he almost adds, but better leave the past in a past, right ?
“I’m sorry” replies Kazuichi “I thought I was talking to my super friend Hajime Hinata, I didn’t realize I was talking to a sixty-years old lady who had to feed her cat tomorrow morning ?”
“Okay, that’s very specific” Hinata says “But I’m not getting drunk with you tonight. And contrary to you, I don’t need alcohol to get laid, so there is that.”
That is mean, considering that Kazuichi is starting to get pretty depressed over the Sonia situation, getting his hopes up when Tanaka and her hadn’t started anything, and back to square one when she nicely informed everyone that her main priority was her country.
“Well” Kazuichi snickers “I’m trying to date a princess, mate. Not a weird-looking guy with a fetish for double-zippers, alright ?”
Kazuichi and Hinata’s eyes meet, narrowed and intense after this kind exchange. This lasts for approximately five seconds before both of them burst out laughing.
“Oh god Kazuichi, I can’t believe we are talking about it. Listen, Sonia has been dancing with everyone tonight. You don’t need to drown yourself in alcohol for that, okay ?” Hinata says, still laughing. “Just man up, as Koizumi would say.”
Kazuichi sighs but nods, and starts to walk in the direction of the dance-floor, when Ibuki’s song ends and she picks up the micro.
“Hi everyone ! It’s great that you are all having fun, but it’s starting to get a little late, and Ibuki knows that everyone wants to get a little frisky tonight.”  This declaration is saluted by a couple of good-hearted laughs, and a few more whistles “So grab the closest person from you and I’m warning you, I want to spontaneously combust from the level of hotness in the room. Careful, though, Ibuki wants frisky, not naughty, so keep your hands where I can see them !”
Souda glances at Hinata in panic but after a few seconds of silent discussion, he turns once more toward the center of the room. Hinata smiles and starts to sip on his glass, now that his friend isn’t there to be annoying about it.
He is barely alone for a minute when someone sits by his side, at the opposite of the couch he is on. He raises his head to see Komaeda, all flushed by the heat and the electrical atmosphere, who is taking a break after the little dancing he has done.
“Hi” Hinata said. “Wants something to drink ?”
Komaeda shook his head, smiling at Hinata with his usual toothy grin. “No, I’m fine.”
Even a few weeks ago, he would insist for him to hydrate himself, but he can’t just be behind his back all the time, and since the moment where he decided to be more relaxed about it - around the time where they started to go out, actually - his boyfriend hasn’t collapsed once, so he will trust him on this one.
“I’m surprised that you didn’t stay for the ‘frisky dancing’” Hinata chuckles.
Komaeda puts his hands in front of him, as to protect himself from this possibility. “I’m really not up to the challenge. I don’t want to be ridiculous and inconvenience the others with my lack of skill in this domain. Also, I don’t think anyone would want to do this kind of thing with…”
“Actually” Hinata cuts him off, not appreciating how easily Komaeda would fall back on his self-depreciating habits “I know very well one person who would appreciate doing this with you.”
Komaeda’s mouth makes a very cute ‘o’, and then his flush spreads on his face so quickly that he doesn’t manage to cover it up with his hands right away. Hinata smiles, amused by how ridiculous he can be whenever Hinata is being blunt in his affection.
Komaeda looks behind his fingers after a few seconds. “Well, from what I’ve seen, the one person who would have been interested wasn’t on the dance-floor, so that bring me back to me being here with you, right ?”
He hums in reply, looking absent-mindedly at the dancers who are more or less awkward, depending on their partners. Kazuichi and Sonia aren’t the worst by far, even if Sonia has firmly placed Kazuichi’s hands on her waist and glares at him anytime he is trying to move them, for Pekoyama and Kuzuryu seems absolutely unable to dance in rhythm, and are mostly standing there, at a respectful distance from one another, stiffer than a pair of brooms.
“Though I wonder, Hinata, don’t you know how to dance this way ? Wasn’t there a Ultimate ‘frisky dancer’ at Hope’s Peak Academy ? That seems like a serious oversight.” Komaeda teased him.
“Shut it, you,” Hinata replies. “For your information, the reason I’m not dancing is because I don’t want to, not because I can’t.”
“So there was an Ultimate Frisky dancer ?” Komaeda’s shit-eating grin refuses to leave his face, and Hinata rolls his eyes.
“No there wasn’t” he says. “That just doesn’t seem so hard. Call it natural skills if you wish, I’m bound to have some, you know.”
His boyfriend laughs.
“Alright, Hinata” he says. “If you say so.”
“You don’t believe me ?”
“Of course I believe you, I would never doubt what you say, you know” replies Komaeda, with the tone of someone who doesn’t believe him and is very much doubting what he is saying.
Hinata glances at the dance-floor, once again. No one is looking in their direction, and the side of the room they are in isn’t as illuminated than the dance-floor is. He then looks at Komaeda, who has this challenging light in his eyes, the kind he has a hard time to resist.
“Komaeda ?”
“Yes ?”
“Raise your arms.” he demanded, resisting the urge of smiling.
Confused, his boyfriend does as he said, and at the second where his lap is free, Hinata crawls quickly along the couch and at the next moment, he is straddling Komaeda’s thighs, a victorious smile on his face.
Komaeda blinks, his arms still raised, and he looks up at him.
“Hinata ? What are you doing ?” he asks, confused by this unannounced intimacy.
Hinata secures his arms behind Komaeda’s neck and caresses the hair he finds there, enjoying the shiver that run down the other’s body while he is doing it.
“I feel like you weren’t convinced by what I was saying. That maybe you would need some proof that I was good at frisky dancing ?”
“But Hinata” Komaeda’s eyes are so wide he is a little scared they are about to fall off. “It’s not frisky dance, it’s lap dance ?”
Falsely surprised, he put a hand in front of his mouth and hiccups. “Oh my god, you’re right, what and an idiot I am, I’d better get off and…”
“No !” Komaeda is back to being able to move his arms, and his hands grasp Hinata’s back to keep him where he is. “A lap dance is a kind of frisky dance.”
“Good, then.” He leans closer from the white-haired boy, and whispers in his ears. “Can I keep going ?”
Komaeda nods frantically, but Hinata notices that he glances at the room behind them, and realizes that it’s not something he would have done without the drinks he took with Kazuichi before. He isn’t the kind to be demonstrative in public and… well, what he is doing is something he would qualify of demonstrative, but Komaeda seems very into it, and so does he so…
He lowers himself shamelessly, trying to follow the rhythm of the music, and grinding against Komaeda who bites his lips, his pupils blown away by the lust. His hands on his back are gripping the fabric of his shirt.
He stops his physical - sexual, he thinks with a tingle of excitation - contact, getting a half-relieved, half-annoyed sigh from Komaeda, and moves his boyfriend’s hands on his waist, keeping his hands over Komaeda’s for the moment.
“Try to feel it” he says, letting him free to interpret whatever ‘it’ could be.
It’s strangely pleasant, moving slowly and languidly on top of Komaeda, feeling how his fingers dip into his hips whenever he lowers himself and grazes his crotch, how his breathing quickens when he starts to go a little faster, to move a little smoother. And always, alway, the other’s eyes are focused on him with such wonder in it, it’s making him light-headed. Maybe he is right, maybe he is just naturally good at that.
That’s not the worst talent to have, right ?
“Hi… Hinata” Komaeda manages to breathes out after a while. “Can I touch you… please ?”
He is trembling, and while Hinata enjoys to tease him this way, Komaeda’s fingers are starting to hurt him and the stain on his thighs is real, and himself wouldn’t be against some attention. He nods shortly, expecting to feel the other’s hands travelling on his thighs and ass but…
He is almost brutally trapped into a tight hug, Komaeda’s head nuzzling against his neck, and a pitiful moan escaping his mouth.
“Hey, is something wrong ?” Hinata asks, deciding to not get too worried right away. He has made sure that he was into it, but maybe it was just too much for him.
Komaeda shakes his head but doesn’t let go of Hinata. When he talks, his words are half-muffled and Hinata had to focus to understand them.
“I’m just… very lucky. It’s still hard to realize sometimes. I’m sorry for doing this.”
Hinata laughs, relieved that it’s nothing too serious - just Komaeda and the long way they all still have to go in their path of recovery.
“Hey, I’m not against a hug” he says pleasantly. “Also I think we were close to break the ‘keep your hands where I can see them’ rule so”. His fingers trace pattern on Komaeda’s back until he starts to loosen his grip. Hinata isn’t in a rush, his boyfriend’s lap isn’t the worst place in the world to be stuck on.
Komaeda’s eyes are a little red-eyed the next time he sees his face, and he is still blushing like a madman, but he isn’t trembling anymore.
“I guess you were right Hinata, you are really the Ultimate Frisky dancer” he says “It’s just a shame that you have to waste your talent on me.”
Hinata kisses the corner of his lips, trying to wash his mouth from what he just said.
“Actually” he says “You’re the only person I want to use it on. I’m counting on you from now on, alright ?”
After a moment, Komaeda nods slowly, hesitantly.
“I guess that can’t be helped, can’t it ?”
“Nope, the future of our world depends on you, Komaeda” and Hinata pulls him in for a real kiss this time, the kind that he is so happy to get lost into.
The truth is they are both very lucky.

Continued from here for @electricea due to new blog + beta editor!
She didn't doubt it, as she listened to Ryuji with a strained, sympathetic smile. Until she moved abroad for school, Sonia's idea of owning a shop had been nothing short of an idyllic romance. A pleasantly simple life of stocking shelves and helping customers who were always polite and thankful to do business there. The reality, she'd learned after beginning her time at Hope's Peak Academy, had been something rather different. And by the time she and Ryuji met that fateful night a few months ago, she hadn't even been surprised by the rude customer behind her, demanding she speed up her transaction. Her lack of expedience and perchance for manners, particularly as the clock neared midnight, had turned her into a blonde, foreign annoyance for the other customers behind her as she'd chatted amiably with Ryuji behind the counter.
It was far less aggravating, she supposed, for everyone that she spend time with him like this instead. Surrounded by various prepackaged offerings and waiting for him to bring a selection of sodas, she found she rather preferred it too. He didn't have the same tone he utilized behind the counter: it was the sort new members of staff used when working for the Royal Family, before they came to know the family they worked for, and they with them in turn. "When I was younger, I loved reading anything I could get my hands on, really!" She admitted, smiling fondly at the memory. "I think I mentioned that I was tutored at home until middle school and my parents chose my friends for me, so much of my way of learning about the world was through books or television. I still must read quite a bit for work, but it's usually news reports or various proposals. For fun, I like novels, particularly gothic romance and horror, and manga as well. They are very soothing for me."
If he was imagining something akin to a library in an animated enchanted castle, Sonia would have to admit that it wasn't far off. Except instead of being full of fairy tales and love stories, it was full of texts on history, language, philosophy, mathematics, science, and more. Though she'd taken care in finding all the fiction she could, including books that her parents would've been horrified to know she found, and read, as a young girl. They should've stored the naughty books somewhere a bit more discreet, she thought as he returned with the drinks. Or at least somewhere a young child wouldn't be compelled to climb up a ladder to reach.
Tumblr media
"When you aren't here, where do you like to go to have fun?" she asked, now torn between her inquiry and the vibrant, colorful sodas and their labels he set before them. "I'm afraid I'm not terribly familiar with energy drinks! Do they simply contain a lot of caffeine?"
Her version had always been tea or, if absolutely necessary, coffee with enough sweetened syrup to take away the bitterness of roasted beans. Hopefully energy drinks weren't as sour or bitter as plain coffee or espresso was: she wouldn't enjoy it if that were the case. Unlike the strawberry soda he now held out to her, eliciting a bright smile and a nod from the princess.
"Oh yes, I agree, everyone loves strawberry. That is an excellent choice, thank you," She agreed, accepting the bottle. It wasn't the most unique flavor, but it was reliably enjoyed. Ryuji would know, Sonia thought as she uncapped the bottle: he was the one selling them.
Still, her eyes widened at his description of the seasonal noodles. Not only seasonal, but autumn and Halloween appropriate. Precisely the sort of thing that sparked her interest, causing her to set her soda aside for the moment. "Oh, pumpkin noodles!" She exclaimed, "I should like to try those. But you are right: I like to try new flavors, as long as they aren't terribly sour, bitter, or plum. I often am introduced to new foods when I travel for work, so I take those opportunities as they come. They aren't quite like this though, convenience shop food and such. I'd imagine you like to try everything the shop gets in stock!"

Prologue - Part 3: The final student
Byakuya was the first to speak once Jana was done. She kept her translator open and set it to Japanese to English so she could follow the conversation. His suggestion was that everyone split up to explore and find a way off of the island if that was at all possible. Sonia grabbed Jana’s arm and dubbed them ‘exploration buddies’ before pulling her toward the hotel site. ”I believe we have not exchanged titles.” Sonia stated as they left the beach behind them. “Though Super High School Level is something of a mouthful.” ”Oh I agree.” Jana replied as she removed her jacket. It was a little warm to still be wearing it. “Maybe we should think of a decent English equivalent?” ”Ah yes!” Jana swore Sonia’s eyes sparkled. That was actually kind of adorable. “But it must be fitting. Our titles tell the world that we are the best at what we do.” ”World’s Best?” Was Jana’s first suggestion and she cringed at how obvious it was. Sonia’s expression mirrored hers. ”It comes across as a little egotistical.” ”Well anything we come up with will sound like that.” ”Very true.” They fell silent as they passed by a ranch and spent a few minutes just admiring the landscape and the single chicken calmly pecking around. Ideas were bounced between them as they left the ranch and continued their path towards the hotel site. ”Do you mind if I ask what your title is, Sonia?” Jana asked as the country lane became a concrete path once again. ”I am the Super High School Level Princess. I come from a small kingdom in Europe called Novoselic and I am so excited to be here among people of my own age.” Sonia’s face just lit up and Jana couldn’t help but smile with her. She understood to a degree. ”And what about your title, Jana?” ”Super High School Level Alpha.” She admitted, glancing down at her feet. Knowing a question was coming, Jana quickly ran through a few ideas. She couldn’t exactly say too much about her title. ”Alpha? What does that mean, exactly?” ”W-well...” Think! Think think think... Or just improvise and remember the first thing spoken! ”I come from a long line of travellers. We’re never in one place for too long. There was a period of time when my father couldn’t lead the group and I stepped up to take his place at everyone’s request. Seeing as we were always on the move and we had a habit of running into wild wolves, we often joked that we were a pack and that I was the Alpha. I guess Hope’s Peak felt Alpha was a softer version of Leader.” Her words were slow at first but Jana soon gained confidence in her partial lie. It was true enough that she could be honest about herself as long as she remembered to switch out the right words as needed. ”Ah, I understand. That is a very interesting title to possess.” Sonia seemed happy with her explanation. Now to just remember it for the next time she needed it.
They still hadn’t thought of anything by the time they reached two neat rows of pretty looking cottages and a decent sized pool. Here they found Fuyuhiko and Nekomaru and while the former scoffed and continued just wandering around and totally ignoring them, the latter greeted them warmly. They simply waved and smiled back as Sonia really wanted to get inside the hotel itself and Jana didn’t feel like whipping her e-handbook out every time someone around her said something. ”Hey Sonia?” ”Yes, Jana?” Jana pointed up to the hotel sign as they finally approached the doors. ”Does Mirai mean hotel?” Sonia looked up to see what Jana was talking about and read the sign. ”Ah no. Mirai actually means future.” ”Hotel Future?” Jana translated with that knowledge. “Hm... I like it. Shall we go through the doors or up those stairs at the side there?” ”How about the door? And then leave via the stairs?” Sonia suggested. “That way, we can ensure we see everything.” ”Alright then, Princesses first.” Jana offered as she opened the door and stepped aside for Sonia to take the lead. ”Thank you!”
~ ~ ~
The hotel’s lobby was as empty as the rest of the island but all electrical things seemed to be working as proven by Chiaki sitting at an arcade game, totally immersed in what she was doing. Jana swore she couldn’t hear the girl breathing for a few seconds. The area itself was very cosy with a couple of plants near the seating area and a bell on the desk and a gorgeous view of the outside area. There was also a small bar that Jana assumed was open to people who actually had ID and would hopefully be hidden seeing as they were all under age. Unless it wasn’t actually alcohol in which case, free drinks and Jana saw no problems with that. With Chiaki occupied and not much to look at, Jana and Sonia headed up the stars and their jaws dropped at the beautiful open space this restaurant offered. The chairs and tables were very simple wooden pieces but suited the natural feel of the island in general, there were more plants in here that resembled mini palm trees and Jana could see the top of the staircase that lead back outside to the front of the hotel. ”My goodness... So much space!” ”I know, it’s amazing.” Both girls just wandered around slowly, taking in the atmosphere and the open space. Unable to resist, Jana started sniffing the air. ”Are you hungry?” Sonia asked, laughing a little. ”A little.” Jana replied, smiling in embarrassment. That really had been kind of dumb. “I was hoping something would be cooking and maybe I could smell it and guess what might be available for our next meal.” ”Did someone say cooking~?” A male voice said from a few tables to their right that Sonia quickly translated for Jana. He was very short, dressed in a chef’s garb and had styled hair that came to a point. Both girls just blinked a few times before Sonia smiled politely as she recalled the boy’s name first. Jana wasn’t far behind but she did have to pull out her e-handbook to see exactly what he said. ”Ah Hanamura, correct? What brings you here?” ”Well I am the Super High School Level Chef, the first place I would naturally check is the restaurant.” Maybe it was Jana’s imagination but Teruteru seemed to have an overly slick quality to his voice. Like he was trying too hard to be smooth. Unless he really was that smooth and he was attempting something. His beady little eyes zeroed in on her. ”Aren’t you going to say something, my dear~?” Did he just... Maybe it was totally unintentional. But there was something about his tone and expression that made her hackles rise. ”I can but all you’ll hear is words you don’t understand and then a robotic voice repeating what I say in Japanese.” She dead panned, holding her e-handbook flat in her palms so it would pick up her voice. Judging by his face, he was a little unimpressed and probably hiding it by combing that really strange hairstyle of his. At least he left Jana alone so she could play with the translator settings to find something less annoying.
While messing with the settings, she missed part of the conversation that Sonia and Teruteru were having. ”Wonder how effective speech to text is on this thing?” Jana mumbled to herself. It was the last one on the list and it sounded like it would be perfect. Selecting it, she held her handbook flat again to see how it worked. ”Oh yes, yes, I am in quite a bit of pain you see. I must have eaten something that looked like one of my ingredients.” Teruteru was saying and Jana’s handbook displayed it for her in perfect English. ”Oh my! Is there anything I can do to help?” Sonia sounded so concerned and Jana was a little worried too. Just how did he manage to eat something bad? Was the blood coming from his nose part of that? ”I thought you’d never ask! I would be so grateful, Miss Nevermind. Such pain in my loins is giving me a very hard time.” Was it just Jana or did she see a hint of a smirk on Teruteru’s face? And why was he speaking so suggestively? ”A hard time?” ”That’s right, I’m having a hard time because it’s full of poison.” Jana flared her nostrils to take in any scents in the room without sniffing the air and drawing attention to herself. She could smell two new scents coming up the stairs from the hotel lobby, Teruteru and Sonia... But nothing poisonous. ”So it would be great if you could use your mouth to... Well... Suck it out.” Okay no, something was up here. Jana couldn’t smell any poison and Teruteru’s eyes were transfixed on Sonia in a way she didn’t like. Like a predator eyeing up easy prey. She bit back a growl that was starting to rumble at the back of her throat. ”Poison, you say? In your loins? Do you mean-” Oh Gods, Sonia hadn’t even spotted it! This guy wasn’t poisoned at all! He was just trying to take advantage of pretty girls and Sonia hadn’t even registered it! Jana felt her skin prickle and tingle and heard herself starting to growl lowly. ”Uhm h-hey, excuse me, do you all have a moment?” That was a new voice. Definitely male and a little on the deep side considering they were all about sixteen or seventeen. ”Woah... Denied.” Teruteru mumbled to himself.
She had to calm down before she could see who had joined herself and Sonia in the restaurant; she could feel her eyes tingling again. Using the screen on her handbook, Jana used one free hand to play with her hair to give the appearance that she was just fixing it when she was actually waiting for signs that she was calm enough to face the newcomers.
~ ~ ~
Once calm, Jana smiled at the two, recognising them as Nagito and the boy who passed out on the beach. The boy’s green eyes drifted over all of them, observing them and saying hello. Teruteru and Sonia introduced themselves and the boy did so in kind. Hinata Hajime... The family name was spoken first which meant his first name was Hajime? Jana opened her notepad on the handbook again and added in Hajime’s name, a pronunciation guide and a memorable feature about him. When she looked up again, she saw that Hajime seemed to be lost in thought whilst looking at Sonia. If he kept that up, it would be more like staring and after the little talk with Teruteru, Jana was feeling a little protective of her first friend here. But it was Nagito who came to the rescue and broke the silence. ”Has she enchanted you, Hinata-san?” Nagito was saying.
Rereading that sentence, Jana felt confusion; had she written Hajime’s surname wrong or had she maybe misheard Nagito? Or maybe the microphone and translator hadn’t picked him up? Was it a language thing that didn’t translate properly? She could always ask Sonia about that later. ”That can’t really be helped, I suppose. Nevermind-san here is true royalty, what with her title being the Super High School Level Princess.” There it was again. Maybe it really was a language thing... ”And of course, we have another European in our group.” Nagito gestured to Jana who held up a finger as she switched her translator to the English to Japanese setting. Constantly doing this would be a real pain in the neck. ”My name is Ja-... Uhm... Wait, no, family name first.” She took a breath and tried again. “Vilkas Jana. I’m a transfer student too, from the UK. Not entirely sure how I made it into Hope’s Peak seeing as I don’t speak a word of Japanese.” She gave them a few moments to read the translated text on her screen that she had held up for them once she’d finished speaking before laying it flat again so she could continue. Nagito cut her off so she scrambled to set it to Japanese to English. ”I’m afraid I don’t know very much about Vilkas-san, she hasn’t had much of a presence on the world stage compared to the others in our class.” That was a poke at her pride and Jana fought to keep the tingling and prickling feelings at bay. It wouldn’t be good to get wound up in front of people. ”I’ve had quite the effect on my local community back home, thank you very much.” She said to Nagito, knowing perfectly well he could understand English. Her voice was as low as it could get without her growling and she daren’t risk that. ”My title is Super High School Level Alpha. Clearly, the school saw some leadership quality in me and decided I would be a good student.” She cleared her throat and focused on Hajime, smiling as politely as she could, holding up her handbook for him to see as she spoke. ”It’s nice to meet you, Hinata-san. If you’ll both excuse me, I think I need an impromptu Japanese lesson from Sonia.”
~ ~ ~
Turning her back on the boys, Jana headed back to Sonia’s side and tucked her handbook in her jean pocket. ”There’s something I don’t really understand that was in the translator. Could you maybe explain it to me?” ”Of course!” Sonia happily replied before linking her arm through Jana’s and the both of them disappeared down the stairs that lead to the outside of the hotel. ”So what it is you are having trouble with, Jana?” ”I kind of just copied Nagito when he added the word ‘san’ to the end of everyone’s names and hoped I did it right but I was wondering what it meant.” ”Ah, you mean honorifics. It is not something that exists in Western languages as we tend to use our tone of voice and body language to convey how close we are to someone but Japanese has a set of suffixes that convey your relationship to someone else be they a teacher, an adult in authority or a close friend.” Sonia explained. Jana listened with rapt attention, quickly writing this down on another note on her notepad app. These translator and notepad functions were definitely going to come in handy.  ”I see. Did I use it correctly?” ”Yes, you did. You even remembered to say your surname first and use the surnames of others too. It would have been a social faux pas if you had addressed them by their given names when you do not know them that well. However, seeing as you do not speak the language at all, you may be given some leniency.” ”Okay, I’ll make extra sure to remember this. How many do I need to know?” ”Not too many thankfully. But you may want to keep taking notes. Perhaps we should find somewhere to sit down? A proper explanation may take a while.” Jana nodded in agreement as they left the hotel site in favour for the shade provided by the trees a little ways away. Being Europeans, they weren’t used to the warmth and Jana being a redhead was already looking a little pink in the face and Sonia’s fair skin had darkened a shade or two. ”Alright, now that we are comfortable, I shall begin.” Sonia effortlessly took control and Jana was actually really okay with that. She could see why Sonia was the Ultimate Princess. ”San is the most commonly used honorific and you did indeed use it correctly. It is used in respect for those of your own age group as well as people you are not very familiar with. For example, even if you got to know Hajime very well, it wouldn’t be unusual for you to call him Hinata-san or even Hajime-san if he allows you to use his given name.” Jana nodded as she diligently took notes. She didn’t want to offend any of her classmates after all and she truly did want to understand Japanese as a whole. It bruised her pride a little to have to rely on her handbook and Sonia to be able to communicate with everyone. ”Sama is a more respectful version of san.” Sonia continued. “It is used rarely, saved for house guests and shop customers or people you admire such as celebrities or deities you believe in. Using it with your own name is considered incredibly rude and will make you appear arrogant unless you are using it in a humourous self-depreciating manner. You will likely hear kun used a lot as we all get to know each other. Kun is used to refer to those younger than yourself and is generally used to refer to boys younger than yourself but you will likely hear it used amongst all of the boys at some point. However, keep in mind that this is not a rule written in stone; male teachers often use kun to refer to their female students and kun can also be used between family members and close friends of any gender.” That one seemed a little more complicated to Jana but at least she wouldn’t be using it for a while. Sonia was still speaking, were there more for her to learn? ”Chan is the final one that you ought to learn while you are here. There are a few more honourifics but it is highly unlikely that you will hear them on this trip. Chan is an endearment, it is also used between close friends and is used for all ages though I would avoid using it for your superiors as that is very rude and condescending.” Jana finished up her notes and smiled up at Sonia. ”I think I understand a little better. I’ll probably reread these a lot to make sure I don’t make a mistake but thank you for teaching me.” ”You are very welcome, Jana. I understand how difficult it is to learn a language. I am fluent in thirty myself.” Jana’s jaw dropped. Thirty languages?! That was insane! Sonia just giggled in embarrassment. ”You are not the first to react like that.” She would’ve replied but she heard a bell and a nearby monitor lit up showing the rabbit. She held up the handbook, hoping it would translate but it seemed it couldn’t pick up sound from the monitors very well and mistranslated several things. ”Ah, Usami wishes us to go to the beach.”

Nighttime was a strange concept, sometimes. How did the world collectively agree that it was the time to rest? Wouldn’t it be safer to sleep in the daylight? On second thought, sleeping in itself was strange. It wasn’t quite like shutting a machine down, and it wasn’t as if people attach themselves to a cable of some sort, yet they still recharge. Could that mean that they were all wirelessly connected to something?
Those were the thoughts the mechanic busied his mind with, and the thoughts he eventually fell asleep to — or maybe it was the sound of cars occasionally passing by. Admittedly, a bus stop might not be the safest to sleep at, but it will do. Rarely did anyone want anything from a fully grown man with a homeless vibe, unless it was to harvest his insides, or something of that sort. Either way, he was confident enough in his escaping skills, at this point. As long as he was in a well-lit public place, he didn’t have much to worry about.
Aside from a heart attack.
Tumblr media
“Y-YESSIR??” Being woken up with a shout of his name was never a good sign, jolting him up to frantically look around, before realizing it was the beanie enveloping his view in darkness and tugging it backwards. It took a few moments for his mental system to reboot, but maybe it rebooted all wrong, because when he traced back the source of the shout, it was suspiciously something out of a dream.
There was Sonia, with a look that made her fairytale-worthy, and in a car that would have been enough to get him on his knees on its own. It took him pinching himself to believe he wasn’t in la-la land.
Tumblr media
“…Oh,” because it took him a bit to process what she’d said, before he cleared his throat. “No I uh, wasn’t waiting on the bus! Just… napping here for a bit. I was planning to walk to Hope’s Peak later.” He could have walked to Hope’s Peak and slept there, but he’d been feeling sleepy, and it wasn’t like it made much difference to him in the end. “…Y-you uh, went out of your way to wake me up?” Part of him was incredibly touched at the realization, warming up his heart despite the cold weather. Another part of him, though, wished the princess would stop being so nice to him: he was just falling for her harder.
Ever since they had that talk at the café, conflicted emotions consumed him every time she crossed his mind. Sadness, determination, joy, guilt, uncertainty, just to name a few — the last one being his current state, right now, at Sonia’s offer. “T-that… car??” he questioned in disbelief, eyes traveling down to look at his messy clothes. Patting the dust off wasn’t enough to clean up his jumpsuit, stained with oil and dirt and a bit of blood. Point is, no way can he get into a car that nice and risk dirtying the princess’ seats. “I mean, w-well, it’s okay! I uh… I can just walk…!!” He really wanted to try sitting in that car. “Y-y… yeah.”
Tumblr media
@mechatiqe asked: [ 12 ] a lonely bus stop at 2am, (except kaz is snoozing away on the bench there)
Various Settings/Location Prompts - Accepting!
It was one of the few times Sonia would let her perfect posture slip: where no one could see her, or paid enough attention or care to tell her otherwise. In the back of the black car, with its tinted windows and bulletproof exterior, she leaned against the leather seats after fastening her seatbelt, driver and bodyguard in the front. Upscale parties that stretched late into the night, even after a full day of classes, were a test to both her nerves and her stamina. As soon as she'd been free to leave Miss Yukizome's homeroom, her private tutoring sessions for the day had been entirely devoted to primping for that night's gala: skin and hair and nails and makeup, well before she even donned her gown and jewelry that had been painstakingly selected for her via video call at home. Every bit of her appearance, from her looks to her gestures to her words, had to send just the right message to the organizers and attendees: that Princess Sonia of Novoselic was inquisitive and respectful of their culture and customs, not appropriative, and she was delighted to represent her father in all sorts of polite chit-chat, photographs, and dances when requested. Of course, a speech was expected as well, in nothing less than flawless Japanese delivered with the brightest smile.
No pressure, save for the ones that cut into her heels and toes. Weight of the diamonds and emeralds at her ears, neck, and wrist aside, it was her shoes that brought along the aches and pains. As the car turned a corner onto a busier road, well away from the tucked-away mansion in the city's most expensive area, she reached down to unbuckle the small straps around each ankle, letting out a sigh of relief as she kicked the glittery shoes aside.
"Are you more at ease now, Your Royal Highness?" A question in Italian came from up front. Insistent that Sonia not muck up the event, her mother had sent over a guard from Novoselic personally recommended and vetted by her family's head of security who would be certain to keep the Princess in line and on task in the absence of her personal secretary. In public, anyway: in the privacy of the car, Luca hadn't given a single care to how his client slouched in her dress, one that easily cost a three month's salary for the average Japanese office worker, against the seat or how she so easily discarded the shoes her mother had insisted upon. By a coveted French designer that pinched and prodded Sonia's toes.
"Very much so, Luca, I feel as if I might finally breathe today," She smiled, knowing it would be reflected in the rearview mirrors. Breathing, much less eating, were secondary and tertiary activities in her gown, considering how fitted it was through the bodice, but for now she didn't mind. Soon enough she'd be back in the safety and comfort of her dorm, her gown hung on its satin-padded hanger, while she dug into the chicken karaage, onigiri, and sweets the chauffeur had picked up for her from the konbini and that all three of them had made a pact not to tell her family about later. She deserved indulgences here and there, even if they were ones the Novoselic Royal Family didn't approve of.
Just like extending a helping hand when it couldn't be recorded for future posterity, or at least a necessary PR campaign in the wake of a scandal. As they pulled up to a stoplight, Sonia glanced out her window, her tired eyes suddenly no longer feeling so tired. A familiar shade of hot pink, of black lined eyes and a hat and jumpsuit: Kazuichi Soda looked far less animated than his usual self in her presence. On the contrary, he seemed to be waiting for a bus, fast asleep. A bus, she noticed after rolling down the window and sticking out her beautifully-coiffed head to read the sign beside the bench, that likely wasn't coming: the bus ended its route nearly two hours prior, if the sign beside him was accurate.
Sonia frowned. She couldn't very well leave him there, but this was Kazuichi she was considering. Their friendship, for all intents and purposes, was a relatively new development of relatively new mutual respect: he no longer called her Miss Sonia or put her on a pedestal, and she no longer referred to him as her stalker and pursued a restraining order. They were navigating uncharted waters, so to speak, and the last thing either of them needed was for him to read into a situation for something that wasn't there. Still, it would be cruel to simply drive by and allow him to sleep on a bench.
Tumblr media
She cleared her throat, having made her decision. "Soda-san!" She called from the car. To no avail, it seemed, before she quickly instructed her driver to remain idle by the bus stop for a few moments longer. Nodding in satisfaction, she stuck her head back out the window again: was she truly going to 'cat call' him? That was what it was, right? When people hung their heads out the window to garner the attention of someone else?
"Soda Kazuichi-san!" She spoke again, this time louder, with full intent to wake him and anyone else in a fifty meter radius. "What are you doing out here so late? I am afraid the buses have stopped driving their routes ages ago. But if you would like, I am happy to share my car with you back to Hope's Peak Academy."

Twisted Sister Arc Review Part 1
Hi guys I’m the Anon who does the reviews around here…guess you could call me the Review Anon? Wonder what the lore behind me would be…anyway that doesn’t matter! Point is, I have an Arc to review and Jesus is this a big one. So big that A) I’m doing submissions (with permission from the Mod of course) and B) I’m splitting the review into 3 parts. Heavy Arcs are Heavy and a LOT of stuff happens here so let’s get right into it!
So, the parts of the Twisted Sister Arc are first the Massacre, second is the Mindwipe and third is the Prison Break. Last one doesn’t start with M but I’m not doing rhyming here, but that’s enough time wasting let’s get right into it~
Massacre
Easily the darkest part of the Arc but given the Arc is basically Kanade being a Slasher Killer here, what do you expect? While Danganronpa is a franchise about murder, and we had serial killers in it both canon and fanon the nature of the Killing Game means that a full-blooded mass killing akin to many slasher films hasn’t really occurred in the franchise before. This makes Kanade’s bloody rampage here even more disturbing, as while we have had mass killings before, see Mukuro’s rampage through Giboua Middle School in Killer Killer, those are established as backstory drops for the characters, we never actually see one being carried out in action. And going back to that massacre, Mukuro only did it because Junko thought her sister’s killer intent might have slipped and it’s to prove to her she is still a killer, but here Kanade is killing for cold blooded revenge. And she doesn’t just kill a bunch of randoms as she brutally murders Iroha, Peko, Akane, Nekomaru, Sonia and Kokoro very brutally and very effectively. I knew something was up given that the entire school went into lockdown and all the fighters from Class 77-B were geared to fight Kanade to the death, and Kanade is such a pansy of a fighter that Sonia beat the living shit out of here, and Syo was taken down by the QC, and we all know how terrifying Syo is. But once the bodies started to drop, I knew that the first time that Hajime would reset on purpose was coming up and there were so many questions. Who set Kanade up for this? Someone had to be helping her…. but who and why? Juu could have let her out but he couldn’t have supplied Kanade with her tools and intel (more on that later) so it has to be someone else.
Within the darkness of this timeline there is of course your heroes. There are those like Peko who got a lucky shot on Kanade which set a chain line of events leading to Kanade’s death, Mikako who made Kanade’s injuries worse and Kokoro who stabbed Kanade in the eye. But those small victories led to total loses as even if Peko didn’t die, she would be crippled for life and moreover she failed to protect her classmates from Kanade’s wrath, and Mikako lost her mother, just as she started to finally connect with her. You may have noticed that I haven’t mentioned two names yet, and that’s because they deserve their own paragraphs, I am of course referring to Nikei and Hibiki.
I’m gonna start with the next person who attacks Kanade and that is of course our Journalist boy here. To say this day has been terrible to him would be a massive understatement as one minute he is suffering an energy crash from downing one too many Red Bulls and having lewd thoughts, to running faster than if he happened to be in Mexico (Seriously, if you happen to be a journalist just don’t go to Mexico) to Hope’s Peak and thanks to Ankle Effects, arriving alongside Hajime to a bloodbath. There’s his constant refusal to accept that Iroha is killed, even though we as the audience knew that given Iroha tried to stop Kanade as soon as she arrived at Hope’s Peak and that Kanade was seen by Sonia and co chopping up security guards, the likelihood of her survival was next to none. This carries on from the conversation Nikei had with Yoruko in the previous Arc where he still believes he is dangerous and that he doesn’t see the other Voids as friends or equals, but rather he took the role as leader because he wanted to have power for once in his life, something he alluded to in the Void Theatre during Chapter 5. However, his reaction to Iroha’s unknown safety, and eventually the truth that Kanade really did butcher the poor painter, proves otherwise. While Nikei’s relationship with his fellow Voids canonically won’t get revealed until LINIQ decides to get around to doing the Onmake mode, in which one of the stories in that is going to be about Void pre Mikado- with someone, most likely Nikei, being the POV character, here the fact his first thoughts upon finding out his ‘little sister’ is dead is to disregard the no-killing rule and just beat Kanade to death, proves that he does care about his fellow Voids, but is in several layers of denial. Out of all the Voids, Nikei is easily the most guarded and paranoid of the lot, and while the others have loosened up around Hajime and co, Nikei still has a lot of inner demons he has to deal with before he could truly open up to the rest of the QC. And Kanade chopping his right hand off, doesn’t help matters though I do give Nikei credit that unlike in the OG timeline, where upon his right hand been blown up by his exploding gun, he just broke down crying, here, he tries to carry on the fight regardless, or he would have had the other person I need to talk about didn’t show up. This is pretty important to establish that while most of the Voids now are pretty far removed from their canon selves and are unlikely to regress back in that, Nikei is still closely tied with his bastard canon self and more work needs to be done for him to detach from that.
But moving on from someone who needs to get some work done, let’s move onto someone who has seen the natural conclusion of their character development, Hibiki! Ever since Hajime and Chiaki rescued Hibiki from her twisted sister (*rim shot*) back in July, she has been making a ton of progress, firstly coming to terms with what Kanade did and her true nature, developing friendly healthy relationships with Class 77-B, the QC and of course a romantic relationship with Hajime. It seemed kind of cliché for Hibiki to fall for Hajime but then again a) Danganronpa can be cliché at times and B) As a Danganronpa Protagonist Hajime cannot turn off his swag. Then there is her officially joining the QC, learning how to fight and being a complete and utter badarse and a caring lover when needed as she confronted Hajime back when he died the second time. We all knew it was only a matter of time when Hibiki had to confront her sister and when Kanade broke into the school, we saw fully, how much Hibiki has grown in the past 3 months. The old Hibiki would have curled up in a corner terrified, crying and probably going into the Puppet State. Here though, Hibiki’s FIRST THOUGHTS upon finding out that Kanade is more dangerous now is to done some armour and get some weapons, and face her sister head on with no hesitation. All without going into the Puppet State at least once, which probably means that its more or less gone now. Kanade tried to talk her sister out of fighting her, but Hikibi isn’t buying Kanade’s insurance anymore and a fight breaks out. If this ever gets animated or becomes a visual novel, I would love to see the Hibiki vs Kanade fight animated as its brilliant, its epic and it’s just so satisfying to see Kanade getting the living snot beaten out of her. You could argue that Nikei’s mauling of Kanade was like that but there, Nikei was more or less in grief due to Iroha’s death and the whole thing was as painful to watch as the final fight in Captain America: Civil War, not saying what because spoilers ahoy. Here though is a glorious battle, as Hibiki gets to deliver justice onto her demonic sister and it is SO SO satisfying, given that a reset happens shortly afterwards.
And sadly, with that, we come to easily the weakest part of not only this part of the arc, but the arc overall, Yasuke’s multiverse theory. It could be written better, and even the Mod agrees that the way it was presented shouldn’t have been the way it worse, that having Umeko throw some ideas at Hajime and him coming to the conclusion that they might have been living in a multiverse be better narrative then Yasuke be like ‘Oh hey I am suddenly an expert on Time Travel now’. It would make Hajime breaking his no kill rule that much more impactful as he doesn’t have the excuses of not only Nikei’s who was currently going through a mental breakdown, and in the current plot where Yasuke more or less planted the seed of doubt in Hajime’s mind. Yasuke still has a role to play in this arc but during the Massacre timeline, I feel like he could have been removed entirely from the plot and not only would it have made no difference, but then most readers wouldn’t be complaining about it as much as Yasuke being a general A-hole wouldn’t tick them off. I’m not saying ‘THIS IS AS BAD AS ONCOMING STORM’ as that Arc was just a giant clusterfuck of a mess, and aside from this one part, the arc is very strong overall, but I will give criticism when due. I’m not mentioning my thoughts on Yasuke as a whole here because he’s more relevant in other parts of the Arc. However, Hajime killing Kanade and himself at the same time is brilliant and seeing Kanade begging for her life as Hajime throws her out of the window is so satisfying given not only all the crap she has been dealing up until that point, but also because in SDAR2, she was 100% fulfilled with the events at that point and given it was HIBIKI who was begging for her life then, let’s just say karma is a bigger bitch then Kanade is.
And that concludes the Massacre part of the Arc as Hajime kills himself and Kanade at the same time and he goes back to just before Nikei started to have indecent thoughts. No time to look at the 3rd page of the national newspapers’ boy, we got a serial killer to stop! And with that I’m stopping here as the Massacre part is finished. But this review is far from over, this is just here because otherwise my, the Mod’s and everyone else’s brains won’t be able to process all of this. Twisted Sister Aftermath Review Part 2
And we are back! Sorry the last part was a bit meaty; I couldn’t really cut bits out and most of the relationship stuff could be covered in the first part. And with this part we move onto the more plot relevant sections. So, seeing as we are going to start on a bad note (you will soon see what I mean by that) let’s hop right in!
Plotly Plot Stuff
Unfortunately, we cannot go one Arc without going back to Mr. Polarising himself, Yasuke. If A Student Out of Time ever gets its own TV Tropes page, Yasuke will definitely get the ‘Base-Breaking Character’ trope to him, because yikes has this guy been debated among Anons. Heck even my original review of Yasuke caused some tension! And to address some of the criticisms I’m been getting about Yasuke being nothing like Byakuya…what I meant was that he is a good ‘Rival/Antagonistic’ character. The villains aren’t going to challenge the Quantum Crew’s views, they know they are bad and they are going to get punished. Tsurugi despite being touted as Hajime’s rival isn’t going to challenge him from a moral standpoint, it’s basically like Sae towards the Phantom Thieves, when one riles up society, the law is going to oppose, and as we know the law is evil, it kinda dampens Tsurugi’s viewpoint. Yasuke though, can challenge Hajime as he’s made Hajime think whether going a Pacifist playthrough is really the best way forward. Given how irredeemable some of the villains are, and that simply imprisoning them might not be good enough, it’s going to be a real test to see if the Quantum Crew can go forward without spilling any blood. Granted Yasuke’s morality is twisted as his only friend is Junko…who isn’t the best of influences, and he is narrow minded in thinking that because his girlfriend is invincible, not helped by how much of a Villain Sue she was in Despair Arc, which is another among many reasons why the anime was a piling hot piece of crap. I used Byakuya as a comparison because really the other rival characters are nothing like Yasuke, and I needed something to get my point across. But the best part about his appearance was the savage beatdown Umeko gave him for thinking that the Many Worlds theory is valid. See this is what I love about this blog, the Mod could just go the lazy option when it comes to time travel, but no they take the time to research a plethora of topics and all the research into quantum physics is so good, it’s like reading a better version of Game Theory. Again, the whole Yasuke Multiverse thing could have easily been avoided if the Mod decided to take a break and not write when they were tried, as it seems to be when the most questionable story choices come from, and used their revised idea of having Umeko toss some ideas to Hajime, Hajime thinking about the Many Worlds Theory and heck even using the fact he played the Zero Escape franchise to get a better idea of time travel so he thought he was SHIFTing, and then when he found out he was wrong, for Umeko to chew him out. Anyway, that’s enough talking about Yasuke, I hope I don’t have to touch this jackarse again in a while, I don’t like him, you don’t like him, the Mod doesn’t like him and pretty sure 95% of Anons reading this don’t like him and just talking about him stresses me out.
Umeko wasn’t the only person to throw punches at Yasuke though because Chiaki had a few choice words to say to him as well. And while Umeko is more of ‘Your knowledge of quantum physics is BS’ Chiaki is more from a morality standpoint that she is very sus about Yasuke’s role in the mess. And think about it, he’s been sus of Hajime and co for a while now, we only have his word that Junko doesn’t know, and that ain’t good enough, and it seems the only reason why Yasuke wants to ‘help’ the Quantum Crew out is because they claim his original plan with Junko fails and he wants to ensure there is no chance that the Mindwipe process once he perfects it on Kanade can be done flawlessly with Junko. And again, Yasuke could be secretly involved in the whole plan because the one thing that for many of us is a concern regarding Kanade’s kit to start a school massacre is the BCI containing intel on Class 77-B. You can make an argument about Junko being involved with the other stuff, her analytic talent would have allowed her to create the complicated chemical formula for the addictive, as a model Junko is loaded so she has plenty of money to spend on stuff such as experimental armour on the black market, and her darling sister could have provided the combat data. Yasuke was in Hope’s Peak and would have known that Hibiki came to Hope’s Peak after Kanade was arrested and bonded with Class 77-B. Bear in mind as soon as Junko saw the news that Kanade was arrested, her first response was to call Juu and said she has plans for Kanade but they can wait for now. Obviously, Junko was waiting to see what was going on regarding Kasugano and wanted to test him by seeing how easy or hard he is to break. People often debate why Junko converted Class 77-B and not her own class but I think the reason why she went after them is because of how unified Class 77-B are. As we learn more about other Hope’s Peak classes it becomes clear just how much of an anomaly Class 77-B are in the regards that they are all friends with each other, and have a high level of hope, which of course Junko due to her desire of a challenge went to break them as sending that class into despair would give her the ultimate satisfaction, even more so than her own class. I think Yasuke isn’t going to be talked about for a while because his very presence stresses people out and after how much the Mod was savaged from their last usage of him, they are going to have to seriously rethink how to use Yasuke in a way that doesn’t cause a scrum debate among us Anons.
Still Yasuke did raise a fair point that against someone with no morals like Junko, the Quatern Crew are going to be hard pressed to keep their ‘Thou shall not Kill’ policy. While Hajime claims he has beaten Junko before in the OG timeline and will do so again in the various times Junko has lost, she has played by her own rules and allows room for failure in her plans, because due to how much of a despair fetish she has, the prospect of losing and tasting the despair of losing is too tempting for her. But if Junko realises that Hajime is hell-bend on standing against her, and that the very laws of time are against her, Junko might just go ‘fuck it’ and forgo that prospect of failure and become, much, much more dangerous as a result. Chiaki’s response to this is simple, they just need to expand their ranks and hire more people. In other words, it’s time for the entirety of Class 77-B to know. To some this is a case of ‘about time!’ But there was a reason why Hajime didn’t want to involve the class. He wasn’t aware on how much history can be changed, and as soon as he discovered he can change the timeline, he also became aware that fate is actively working against him, and the more he fights against it, the bigger the backlash. The last thing Hajime wants is his only friends, Class 77-B, to be hurt due to ripple effects of the Ankle Effect. While half of Class 77-B knew, Hajime didn’t go out of his way to tell them, they either forced Hajime to tell them, or they got caught up in one of Hajime’s plans and he had no choice but to tell them. Chiaki got sus of Hajime when he saved Natsumi and Sato and thus he had to spill, Mikan overheard Hajime and Chiaki talking to Umeko about the future, and the only reason Hajime told her is because he knew there was a risk that Umeko could accidently expose Hajime. Sonia and Gundham went to the Melody Rhythm Concert on their own separate investigation because Koroko and Yoruko was talking about serial killers in order to help get intel into Kanade’s mindset, Sonia got sus about all the mysterious deaths around the Otonokoji Twins, and thus got caught up in Hajime’s plan to save Hibiki and stop Kanade. Mahiru and Hiyoko were investigating Kasugano when they got kidnapped by Junya and Haiji, and Fuyuhiko and Peko were the only ones brought in because Hajime needed extra muscle to deal with the traffickers. And it is becoming apparent that changing the future is a task too large for one person as without the help of his fellow time travellers, his classmates that know, Void, and other allies, Hajime wouldn’t have achieved all the victories that the Quantum Crew have enjoyed. And given that Kanade tried to kill them all, its something they cannot hide from their friends anymore and thus its time to spill the truth.
This of course means that the rest of Class 77-B (Teruteru, Imposter, Ibuki, Nekomaru, Nagito, Kazuichi and the Canon Akane) get to meet Void, Another Akane and Sora for the first time. The interactions between them are both sweet and bitter. Sweet because all the Class 77-B interactions are wholesome, Nekomaru and Maku are developing a bromance similar to what Maku enjoyed with Shinji in SDAR2, Akane is done to have a scrap with Maku, Kazuichi is simping for Emma, I hope that doesn’t last, Iroha is fawning over the Imposter, Taira and Teruteru dosed Pornhub, and Kazuichi and Chisa are amazed that Sora exists. But also, bitter because if you noticed, I didn’t mention Nikei. And that’s for a good reason as Nikei didn’t really interact with the rest of Class 77-B, his only interaction is helping Mahiru getting the two horny members (you know who they are) away from each other. We could have had at least an interaction between him and Ibuki as those two actually met before, but nope. This is a clear example on how the other Void members have become comfortable around Class 77-B and warmly welcomed the other class members with open arms and yet Nikei is still gated off. Clearly our Reporter friend here is going for a slow burn character development but one that hopefully will pay off in the end because I will cry rivers of joy when Nikei finally becomes comfortable around Class 77-B. Oh yeah forgot to mention, Chisa and Juzo are in the truth meeting as well. I was wondering if they would be told but it makes sense to tell them as they alongside Kyousuke are doing an internal investigation into the dark under dealings of Hope’s Peak and in Despair Arc came the closest to foiling Junko’s plans to despair bomb the planet. They failed because A) it’s a shitty prequel anime and Junko is a Villain Sue in this and B) she brainwashed Chisa and blackmailed Juzo with his feelings towards Kyousuke dosed with a lot of homophobia, because we didn’t need any more reasons to hate Junko already. Once all the fuzzy feelings are done, the truth is spilled and everyone is horrified, as you would if you found out that in a couple of years’ time the world would end, you are the reason the world ended and you were basically turned into some Anarchist Model’s mind slaves. Naturally some are a little hesitant to accept it, but at the end of the day, its their friends at the end of the day, they didn’t tell them not because they didn’t trust them but because they didn’t need to know and they didn’t want themselves to be hurt by the forces they are up against. Its unclear how many are official Quantum Crew members or just allies, as knowing the truth about the future and being a Quantum Crew member are two different things. Natsumi, Sato, Fuyuhiko, Peko and Mahiru were all offered the chance of membership and they refused for their own reasons, but they didn’t rule out helping the Quantum Crew out if they need their help. Koroko and Kyoji aren’t official Quantum Crew members and yet they pull some serious weight in regards to the various missions the Quantum Crew go on. Chisa and Juzo agree to help as well, and Kyousuke is being left in the dark because he would go and try to kill Junko and we know from experience how well THAT would go. Spoilers: Not very well, just ask OG Juzo and OG Nagito.
Speaking of Kanye West Sans from Undertale on the Nintendo DS, Iroha started to chat up to him as she’s dating Makoto and he’s going to be Class 78’s Lucky Student if nothing changes about his Worst Day Ever, and Nagito drops a bombshell that Kanata is being upgraded from Class 79 student, to Class 78 student! Ever since Toko was sent to the mental hospital and thus means she could never become a member of Class 78, which was already a small class, debate ranged on who would replace Toko, if it was going only be 15 students, or if someone like Hibiki or one of the Voids would replace Toko. Welp the answer is that Kanata is replacing Toko. That’s going to be interesting because I would love to see how Kanata interacts with the rest of Class 78, especially those like Chihiro and Aoi. Obviously, she would be at great risk because she would be in the same class as the Despair Twins but that cannot be helped. But Kanata moving to Class 78 means there is a gap in Class 79. Now this obviously depends if there ever IS a Class 79 because ideally the school will be open as long as Junko is at large but once she is caught and defeated, the next step would be to expose Hope’s Peak, which would be easy because here’s a hint, what did Hajime promise to Nikei to get him on board with helping him in the first place? But call me pessimistic but someone like Junko, the main villain of Danganronpa isn’t going to be caught in a year, and depending how long it takes to defeat Junko, Class 79 might get formed before Junko is defeated. We obviously have a gap, and it depends if say Hibiki goes back to high school and gets scouted for Class 79 because I doubt while all the Voids would be eligible then for Class 79 (Reason why not all would be eligible for Class 78 is because Iroha is a year younger then the other Voids. The Voids as a whole are the same age as the Trigger-Happy Havoc cast, so Iroha is basically similar age to Class 79) That’s something to be tackled another time though.
One last thing before the Arc concludes and it’s the biggest bombshell of them all. So, one might ask, what is bigger than Kanata being part of Class 78? Here’s a simple answer; how about that being a time traveller isn’t the only way to remember the future? Remember when Mikako came to visit her mother? Turned out it wasn’t just a curtsy visit as ever since Mikako had her brain surgery, she’s been having recurring nightmares and the worrying thing about those nightmares is…they are memories of the OG timeline. She drew a picture of Monokuma, which is something that shouldn’t be possible as Junko didn’t come up with the design of Monokuma until she arrived at Hope’s Peak, and the robot version of Monokuma was only made by Junko influencing Monaca, which given that Monaca is more under the influence of the Quantum Crew, means that the Dis Bear more or less is non-existent in this universe. The nightmares are only the start though as before Mikako had her surgery, she met Kanata because Kanata’s adoptive father is the one who did the surgery to remove Mikako’s brain implant, and Mikako noted that Kanata felt familiar, which if Mikako was getting memories of the OG timeline, she should as Kanata was a classmate of hers. Now that Kanata is part of Class 78, she would no longer be a classmate and Mikako also remembered the Massacre timeline as she thanked Koroko before leaving with Yamato for saving her life, which again she shouldn’t have known as that only happened in the Massacre timeline which no longer exists. Mikako didn’t recognize anyone in the nightmares expect for Yamato obviously, but when shown pictures of future Class 79 members like Akane Taira, she noted of them being familiar. So, WTF is going on? I’ll be clear, I don’t think Mikako is a time traveller or a time traveller in the making. If she was, Umeko would have detected that and she didn’t. But what is clear is somehow Mikako is getting memories of other timelines. My best theory is a few factors. Firstly, being the future Ultimate Exorcist, Mikako possesses spiritual powers and maybe said powers provide some immunity to resets, which means that if Hajime has to go up against an enemy who has supernatural abilities, he has to be careful with resetting as its not just time travellers who can remember. Secondly, in the OG timeline, Yamato managed to develop a solution to reserve the memory wiping that Junko and Yasuke invented, and he used it on himself and Mikako. Granted, said machine wasn’t perfect and it did have side effects, Mikako’s emotions got supressed and she had difficulty expressing them and Yamato’s speech patterns got fucked up, but Yamato isn’t experiencing the nightmares like Mikako is. This obviously requires some investigating and probably another goal for the QC to explore in the next arc, but if other characters aside from time travellers can remember the other timelines, it can be both a boon as it means more allies and a bane because all we need is one villainous character to have this ability and then shit will hit the fan. Bonus points if it happens to be Junko. My big worry for Mikako though is that in DRA Mikako gets framed for Yamato’s murder by Monokuma, and he rigged the trial so that Mikako would be executed, forcing her to take poison so that Monokuma won’t get the pleasure of killing her himself, didn’t stop a spiteful Monokuma from executing her corpse though. Her death was on her terms but still recalling being poisoned to death, as Hajime can tell you is very unpleasant and something that Mikako is going to not enjoy dreaming in the slightest.
And with that we have finished Twisted Sister Aftermath! It was lengthier than I wanted but coming off from a plot heavy arc and being basically the spill over from that, it cannot be helped. I will give this a C overall. Normally I would give it a B because it’s not as intense as the previous Arc but the mere presence of Yasuke and the fact that I could see that most of this Arc was the Mod try to remedy their terrible inclusion of him from the previous Arc knocked it down a few points. At least the Mod learnt that you do not write plot when sleep deprived or lacking in energy, as its when the worser aspects of the story tend to be manifested from. Next Arc should be much chiller in tone and I just hope I can cram everything into one submission there. Nikei’s bemoaning that his article about Kanade’s death being too long speaks to me on a personal level. I hope you enjoy this review everyone and see you next time when we hopefully finish with a chiller Arc, and happy Holidays because I believe by the time the next Arc finishes, Christmas would be behind us! -Review Anon
