im not insane for wanting to start tomatoes by this time of year i think, winter temps hit late december/ early january and the absolute lowest is like 10c, i trust them o7
#in other news i bought 15 bucks worth of potting mix ingredience haha#probs not gonna be doing any further purchases so its fiiine#i really did want perlite mainly bc my my cacti are surviving on waterlogging prone dirt and also hopes and dreams hdfjhdsfjh#shut up sheo#i hope regular plants are more forgiving than cacti hahaha; i do a good job at not killing them but oh mann#the sheer amount of misfortune theyve gone through ToT#like WHAT do you mean the neighbour´s cat knocked them over 6 separate times and also pissed on them ToT!!!#unparallleled#WHAT do you mean 0 experience sheo made the soil so incredibly loose for a year that the poor cactus became really thin#... then changed spike type and color??????#also made the too much drainage mistake with my bunny ear cactus; poor guy needs a trim now#it´s healthy fortunately and finally has enough soil to keep moisture in but oh goshh#oh also- i have the little lemon seedlings right? the freaking wind blew a black plastic bag over them after gettign rained on#so a couple leaves got steam cooked before i went for an afternoon checkup and fixed that#theyre fine overall but bruhhhh#and dont even get me started on that haworthia!!!!!#poor guy survived for over a year by force of will alone!!! soil so compact it had mold growing on it and water never reached the core!!!#took me hours to break it free; it had resorted to leaving like 2 roots at the very border of the pot so it could get a shred of water#plants mannn
