Guess who’s back, back again! (I feel the need to be social)
Could I humbly request the letters
H, Y, P, E, and D for Lilia? Either General or Current! (Or both if you want to but I’m fine with anything)
Take care of yourself!!
hiii, thanks for the ask!! be as social as u want, i LOVE interacting with others (and esp with twst fans🙏) anyway, i love lilia, he’s one of my favs!
also idk if u meant to do this, but spelling out “hyped” is pretty cool!
H: Habits | As a lee/ler or both, do they have specific habits when it comes to tickling?
when he was a general, it just.. simply didn’t happen. someone tries to tickle him, poof he’s gone. (well, maybe when he was younger it was different with maleanor and levan?)
eitherway, now, a habit as a ler would be popping up randomly. he never offers much anticipation because he just gets right into it. as a lee, i dont think he would have any notable habits. maybe? im not sure 😭
Y: You | Any personal self- or reader-insert tickle fantasy / headcanon to share with this character?
for me, no. but, let me try to come up with one. hm, I DONT REALLY KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THIS so it might be totally wrong but imagine yourself messing around with him, finding ways to surprise another ie. water guns, jumping out from behind, etc. u totally didn’t expect him to just start tickling u, so he won that battle. because, yeah, that was really surprising…
P: Partner in Crime | If they were to go after a ler and accept the aid of a tickle partner, who do they prefer to join hands with and why?
i actually have a few in mind! first, malleus. this would be because lilia is trying to include him and get him to be more social. this doesn’t really just INVOLVE tickling, but would be one of the instances where he would join hands (i have no idea how to word this sentence). also, malleus would undoubtedly be curious, but i imagine him being a natural lol.
the next two, pop music club members cater and kalim! kalim is open to pretty much, anything. as long as he thinks everyones having fun. same with cater! i think they would be really good lers too!
E: Expression | How do they express their wish to tickle/be tickled?
i think if lilia wanted to tickle someone, he’d just go for it. of course, he’d make sure they were fine with it and would stop if they weren’t. he just really enjoys the element of surprise and that also applies to tickling!
i don’t think he would express the wish to be tickled much at all. sometimes, maybe, he would get a bit like, reminiscent back at home in the briar valley, but that’s the most of it. I JUST FEEL LIKE he would keep it to himself and if he gets tickled, he gets tickled!
D: Death Spot | What is their most ticklish spot?
i think it would be his back! i imagine when being asked if he wanted a back massage, he would be like,,, “…ahaha no, that’s fine!” just because he cannot handle back massages at all HELPP

Can be seen as a part 2 to this fic (after some time has passed that is) or can be read as a stand-alone.
“Leave me alone human!”
“For someone who is chained to the ground and gravely injured, you’re pretty loud.”
“I’ll rip you from limb to limb.”
“Why don’t you get better first before we get there hmm?”
General Lilia Vanrouge screeched at you in the fae language, some of which you knew were curses. Ah yes, you can’t wait to make fun of your Lilia when you get back to your time. His cursing while playing video games had you easily recognizing some of them now.
Luckily for you and your ears, the General wore himself out. The wounds from the iron and those of the battles weakened him.
It didn’t help that he also had a fever as a result. You were put in this cell to help him recover. Humpty Dumpty- well, King Henrik, implied it was the least you could do.
A random human that was pick up by his men, who was using valuable resources that could go to his soldiers instead. Never mind the fact that you helped treat said soldiers and gather said resources.
The Knight of Dawn had clenched his fist, about to speak up on your behalf. But you simply grabbed his hand and shook your head. It wasn’t worth it. King Henrik would just make his life harder for talking back, and you didn’t want that. The Knight of Dawn dealt with enough, you didn’t want to add onto his troubles.
…But you also didn’t realize that meant staying locked up in this cell with General Lilia Vanrouge either.
The General wasn’t exactly happy when he first met you, and you couldn’t blame him. You just weren’t used to the open hatred from familiar eyes you would see everyday. Eyes that were always friendly to you, now burned you.
The first time you tried to provide him treatment, he had fought back until his wounds weakened him to an unconscious state. You had silently treated him then. Not a soul a witness to your tears.
As the weeks passed, the General gradually stopped fighting back, probably due to his weakening state…it didn’t shut his mouth though funny enough.
You were only let out for a change of clothes, a bath, a proper meal, and a bed to sleep in every few days. Even then, King Henrik made it seem as if that was too good for you.
You later found out it was due to the Knight of Dawn’s request that you were even allowed such accommodations. Your heart ached at the idea of what he must have gone through to get you this, as you knew King Henrik did not treat him well.
You breathed softly, you wished you could return home soon.
You were dressing a wound on Lilia when you felt him stir.
“Melea…Le…B…”
You took a wet cloth and wiped his forehead.
He must be dreaming about his family.
You knew all would be well in the future, but that didn’t mean current events didn’t affect you.
It hurt you to see so many struggle in a useless war, due to greed from one man.
Lilia clutched at his stomach, his sharp claw like nails reopening the wounds you had painstakingly bandaged.
You quickly grabbed his hands and sucked in a breath of pain. His nails dug into your skin, drawing blood. His grip could break your bones to tiny, incomprehensible pieces, but you held on.
You knew he wanted to be free and return home, to protect his loved ones. You were determined to heal him for that very reason.
“Damn it Lilia Vanrouge! You will get through this! You have so much to look forward to. So many people who love you! Now, stop being a prick and let me go so I can treat you!”
Surprisingly, he let you go. You ignored your bleeding, aching hands in order to reseal his wound.
“…will you be in that future?”
You froze, turning and looking into feverish eyes.
“Yes.”
General Lilia Vanrouge fell into a deep sleep for the next 10 days.
You were returning to Lilia’s cell when a knife was held to your neck.
“Human, where is the fae you captured?”
Ah, it seems rescue finally arrived for Lilia. It took them long enough.
You looked up into hardened, familiar eyes. Baul Zigvolt would have been a sight for sore eyes if he didn’t, you know, have a knife to your throat.
“I would gladly show you if you take that knife away.”
“You-”
“Besides, I was heading right in that direction. If you don’t want to be caught, you better hurry.”
You continued walking, listening to Baul grumble about frustrating humans. You couldn’t help the slight smile on your face as you remembered similar words said by his grandson.
You led Baul quickly and quietly to the cell that practically became a second home to you. No one in sight. You had noticed, unlike the men that the Knight of Dawn commanded, the men directly under King Henrik were…well, just like him: sleazy and lazy.
They let their guards down thinking The Right General of the Fae was too weak and couldn’t take any of them on. They even implied you were nothing but a sacrificial lamb should said Fae get angry, but of course, they would rescue you at a price.
It took you all you could not to spit in their faces or smash their heads on the wall. The self defense lessons Silver and Sebek taught you provided security that you would forever be grateful for.
It was due to this fatal thinking that Baul was able to infiltrate the base, as the men went to seek entertainment elsewhere.
When you arrived, you opened the cell door quietly so as to not hurt sensitive ears. The sun was high enough for the cell to be well lit.
You heard Baul hiss in anger before rushing to his general’s side. Lilia didn’t seem surprised to see him, telling you how he must have always known rescue would come for him.
“General!”
“Careful! You’ll-”
Baul recoiled from the burns the iron chains struck at him.
“I tried to warn you.” You shook your head. You sat next to Lilia, taking his hand in yours. From the corner of your eye, you could see Baul tense but Lilia motioned for him to remain calm.
You picked at the lock. Another thing to be thankful for, your lock picking skills, which you learned quickly from days you were locked outside of Ramshackle Dorm because Grim forgot the key or the door just wouldn’t open.
“You got it in one go this time.”
“I told you I had surprises up my sleeves. I just needed the right tools.”
“Hmm, so you say.”
Baul looked at both of you as if you both at grown two heads each. Lilia noticed his look and waved towards his feet. Where chains that should have been locked were open.
“Any longer, Baul, and I would have rescued myself.”
Baul stammered before apologizing. You turned away to hide your smile.
Within moments, the atmosphere changed. General Lilia Vanrouge had to escape and return to his men.
“Leave.”
“What?”
“You have to leave. You need to return to your troops."
Lilia clenched his jaw, looking at you. You couldn't return with him; you both knew that. It didn't stop him from trying, but you shook your head before he could even open his mouth.
"I can't go with you."
A human amongst the fae would not last long, at least not now. There was too much hatred.
You took the cuffs that had been his tormentor for so long and locked them around your hands. You chose to ignore the angry growl Lilia tried to hide at the sight of the cuffs now imprisoning you.
"I'll make it look like you escaped, now go."
"They'll hurt you."
You shook your head.
"The Knight of Dawn would never let that happen."
He knew you were right. The Knight of Dawn had visited several times, helping you treat his wounds and restrain him when the fever would have him lash out at you.
The Knight of Dawn had honor, as a fellow general and soldier, Lilia respected him for it. Lilia pulled one of his magic stones off his belt before offering it to you.
"Take this. Smash it to the ground if you need help, I'll find you."
You agreed and watched the two soldiers turn to leave. General Lilia Vanrouge hesitated before speaking, "You told me you would be in my future."
"I will be."
"You better keep that promise, YN."
"I will."
General Lilia Vanrouge and Baul Zigvolt vanished from your sight.
I'll see you both soon.
Part 3 (each part takes place after some time has passed) or can be read as a stand-alone.
Author’s Notes: I can’t believe this became a 1.5k fic, the way this bat fae drives me crazy. 😂💞🌺

Endeavors with the General ft. General Lilia Vanrouge x reader
Tag: Long haired Lilia, fluff, he's the wife, he's pretty soft here guys, no gender mentioned
A/N: how tf do you write him? You can't tell me that no one is taking care of that beautiful hair let's forget silver who only uses soap. This is tribute for my hair that's getting cut. For context, I have a wavy hair that's more than 24 inches long. With a small estimation, I like to think that General Lilia and I have almost the same hair length. Thanks for reading my fics guys. I feel like my passion in writing is coming back just needed some validation
Masterlist
---
Being a general, your husband, most often than not, comes home looking unkempt. You don't chastise him for it. In fact it is one of the ways you get to bond with him and his busy schedule. With the way between humans and faes, you rarely got the chance to spend with Lilia as the kingdom's safety often calls for his attention. Most of the time, you are worried of his line of work, but you know his loyalty lies far deeper than just for the kingdom.
Now, you giddily opened the letter from Lilia. It seems that he will be coming home tonight. To prepare for his upcoming arrival, you canceled all your plans and used all the remaining time you have to plan a great dinner and sleep for him.
For hours, the servants around the house watch as you pace back and forth, waiting for Lilia's arrival
"Lilia!"
You jumped at him as soon as he opened the door. He effortlessly caught you as always, not even surprise at this entrance. "I've missed you." You push back the scarf on his head and slide off his mask. You were greeted by by his gentle face as soon as you did. Immediately, your lips that were magnetically attracted to his skin, latch on his cheek. You gave him plenty of kisses, yet purposely missing his twitching lips.
"It's only been 4 days." His hands fell on your waist. After you stopped from showering him with affection, you buried your head on his shoulder and hugged him back.
"4 days and 4 nights without you, to be exact. I was so worried when you didn't answer my first letter."
"I can't just be at your beck and call all the the time." He sighs before continuing, "It won't happen again."
You raised your head and look away from him, pretending that you are pondering of your verdict for him. You hum, "Well since you're here now, I forgive you." He huffed when you poke his nose and patted his head. You can see his cheeks darken after doing so.
"I'm not a child," he grumbled. You laughed at his bashful demeanor. He didn't exactly say that he didn't like it, and if he did, he could've pulled your hand away. Instead, you see the fearsome phantom general of Briar Valley act this cute.
"Yes yes, you are not love. Though there is nothing wrong with me desiring to be affectionate with my husband, no?" You wrapped your arms around his neck and finally gave his lips some love too. You broke the hug between you and gently took his hand, to dragged him to the dining room. As soon as you opened the room, he sees the array of servants carrying dishes. Even if the food were covered, his heightened senses immediately knew most what it was. He pulled one of the chairs for you to sit on before taking a seat for himself.
As the dishes were laid on the table, you turned towards Lilia. You noticed that he was just staring as the dishes were being served.
"Is it not to your liking?" you asked him, worried that there is something wrong.
"It's different back in the camp," he lied.
"You should eat a lot then!"
He winced as he realized that his excuse backfired on him. Truth to be told, he had a feast back in the princess castle, because someone insisted on keeping him stuffed for the journey back to you. Though seeing your enthusiastic demeanor, he could only groan internally as he is more apprehensive of seeing you sad than his stomach bursting.
Throughout the whole dinner, you kept rambling about what happened to you while he was away. Seeing how distracted you were, he opted to hand some of his portions from his plate to yours.
---
That was one of the ways you can bond with him: eating together. Another was through self-care.
You gently pulled the hair tie out of his locks, letting it flow freely. "Now what would I find here again?" You gently separated the hair strands and found a small twig stuck in Lilia's hair. A common find.
"You didn't have to do this. I've already dealt with this after I took a bath," he sighed when you shook your head.
"Tell it to this twig then." You enjoy his long locks too much to agree his earlier proposal. "You can't see your whole head, Lilia. Just let me do my work, hm?"
You softly brush his hair, admiring how the strands transition from black to red. "Besides, you have to thank me for keeping it this beautiful."
"It's no different than before," he retorts back.
You pouted, unable to find a counterattack. It was true that he was naturally gifted with his tresses. Even before your marriage, his hair albeit a little tangle at times, was still silky smooth to the touch. You speak from experience.
"What do you even do to have something like this? Do you have some secret routine you're not telling me?"
"Water and soap washes away dirt easily."
"That is true, but I was talking about your hair."
"And?"
"Wait what?"
Now in the present, we understand why Silver uses soap as his shampoo.

Imagining Yuu being Lillias as first and last love.
Let's say he was gravely injured during the war, and you, a human, had snuck him away to tend to his wounds. (I like to imagine this in a scenario where in chapter 7 when they meet Lilia in the 'dream world', he retains those memories, only for it to loop back to the modern day, less than a reincarnation.)
You, knowing Lilia from NRC and being enamored with him for so long, obviously had no choice but to help their fae....friend. When he became gravely injured during a particularly difficult battle, He awakes and is immediately on guard. He never really trusted you and the others who suddenly came face to face with him, two humans, a beastman, and a fae-human hybrid. You were all suspicious to him, yet he couldn't help but feel a ting of familiarity in his heart the second his eyes met yours. He knew, by some force, you were different than the other humans; you were kind, caring, and worked on your lonesome rather than a group.
"Are you okay? Do your wounds hurt? I can change your bandages If you'd like. You have been out for only a few hours..." You pursed your lips, hands hesitating over his injured waist, "But...I understand if you rather me leave now. I just wanted to make sure you would be okay, you really took a hard hit."
He just stared at you with wide eyes and a rapidly beating heart. He came to realize you were truly no threat, and he honestly, owed you his life. He never thought he'd see the day; General Lilia Vanrouge allowing a human tend to his needs, he frankly felt rather pathetic at the notion of this being affecting him as much as they had. Since the moment they arrived at his camp, he knew you were trouble for his heart.
"There 's...no need," Lilia said, sitting up slightly grasping his covered wound with one hand and holding his other out for you to set the spare bandages to him. You nodded slightly and handed it to him, turning around and starting to walk out. Before you had reached the door, Lilia called out to you.
"Human," He said, causing you to turn around in surprise and tilt your head with anticipation of his next words, "Why...why aren't you like the other humans? Are you not betraying them by helping your enemy?" You sighed and shook your head, chuckling at a question that seemed obviously ridiculous to you. Your reaction had caused Lilia to furrow his eyebrows and frown.
"Because I have... a lot of love for everyone," You finally said, looking up with the most serene, sincere, and peaceful gaze he had ever seen, "I love Humans, I love Fae, I love beastmen...and.." You blushed slightly, "I love you, too." The general couldn't wrap his head around it- your comments seemed utterly ridiculous to him- you hadn't known him for long at all, it seemed you two had only met for a couple days at best and here you were already admitting your affections for the fae? Despite this fact, he could tell by your unwavering stance and confident voice, that you were not lying. He simply replied with a nod and dismissed you with a wave of his hand as he had done so with many of his subordinates, muttering a quick thank you before you exited the hut.
Lilia stared down at his hands where the bandages you handed him lay, his cheeks taken a rosy tint. The red-eyed Fae shook his head and wiped his brow beaded with sweat, scoffing in disbelief. Did he just fall for a human...? A human he hadn't even known for long yet felt like he knew a lifetime, at that, over some silly hopeful words? He couldn't deny the way his heartbeat sped up at your kindness, your gentle touch tingling across the skin you cared for, and his ears begging to hear more of your mellifluous voice. Taking a deep sigh, he felt a deep rooted resolve force him to stand upon his feet and chase after you- his heart yearning to learn more about this mysterious human that had somehow shaken him to his core.
However, he never could find you after that.
Queue modern time.
Lilia had well after a while understood he would never be able to find that human- he knew after decades you must have wound up dead. Yet he couldn't shake the feeling that you were around, somehow, somewhere, alive and living a happy life- yet he had no proof you were either dead or alive. He didn't particularly look very hard, either. You had given him conflicting emotions that he had never experienced before, yes, but he knew he had a duty to attend to. There were indeed nights where he re-played your words over and over again- eventually bringing him to his resolve of peace between humans and fae and finding solace in the idea of loving all creatures for what they were, just had you did for him when you saved his life with reckless abandon.
So the moment he lay eyes upon you when you stumbled upon NRC, he had the same exact feeling all those years ago rushing back to him all at once, as if he had been hit by a sudden train of emotions. His heart thumped and the sound of blood rushing overtook him overwhelmingly- There was no way, right? The human who saved him must have been long dead by then. It couldn't possibly be...
Then you said your name.
You had the same name, the same unwavering confident eyes, the same serene peace that he felt wash over him in that little hut during the years of war. He wasn't sure how, if this person who suddenly came to NRC was a long distant relative of that person, or if there was something else going on beyond his comprehensive skills. You were alive, your voice as beautiful and mysterious as you were all those years ago. He spent a considerable amount of time studying you, being by your side, trying to put together the puzzle piece by piece. Yet he surprised himself- he never knew, even at his old age, he could feel such vibrant emotions as strongly and just as beautifully as the first time he laid eyes upon you. He felt like that young general again- passionate, young, and this time without animosity and war to get in the way of his curiosity.
Perhaps it was old age getting the better of him making his mind warped into believing he had some sort of magical entity on his side bringing you back to him, or his old heart yearning for something he had never had before and had deeply regretted never experiencing; love. Whatever was going on, Lilia knew one thing for certain;
He would not let his chance slip away this time.

Sweet Dreams
Lilia Vanrouge x GN!Reader
Synopsis: Lilia was certainly strange, visiting you out of the blue- saying things you could easily mistake for something loving. Truly, he was peculiar. Yet, it wasn't yet another prank- he had his reasons. After all, he couldn't see you suffer. Thus, he didn't let you suffer. With a sweet song and a bit of magic, you were lulled into his comforting arms.
TW: None, just fluff! (a little bittersweet at the end though, maybe-)
A serene morning; raven's cawing outside, Grim yawning as he clings to you, and the ghosts chattering outside your room. This was the usual for Ramshackle mornings, well except for the questionable singing outside. You'd just awoken, lashes fluttering open as you tried to pry Grim off of you. You sighed as his form wouldn't budge, sleepy rambles of tuna spilling from his mouth.
You stretched your tired body trying to accommodate to the chilly morning. Still, what was that strange noise- no, singing outside? It wasn't ghastly, quite the opposite actually. it sounded as though someone was singing lullabies- whoever it was must've been confused about the time of day, it was clearly morning.
Raising a brow in confusion you woke grim up who huffed angrily and complained about how lovely his dream was.
"Huh!? My tuna! W-where is my tuna and my servants!?" Grim exclaimed before you picked him up by the scruff.
"It was a dream, Grim. We have stranger things to worry about than tuna and you having servants." You said nonchalantly, a yawn escaping your lips.
"There's someone singing something outside." You spoke to wish Grim's ears twitched as if he was trying to listen.
"Henchman, you're right! But why're they singin' a lullaby in the morning?" Grim asked, his paw's rising up to jab you- commanding you to let him go. You sighed as you released him- he etched towards the nearest window to go peek at who was outside, and yell at them to stop.
"There's nothin' here." he said, to which you responded with a raised brow. You began to march over to the window too, certainly there was someone or something outside- music didn't just spawn without a source.
"What do you mean there's nothing? There has to be someone-" He was right, no one was outside neither was there something that could generate music. You and Grim glanced at each other in confusion then looked outside the window once more, in sync.
Out of the blue, a head popped up in front of you- upside down.
"Good morning, how's the day for you two?" You both only shrieked in response, backing away from the window- you swore your heart thumped three times faster. That is until you realized, that was Lilia and not one of the ghosts playing a prank on you- it didn't make the ache on your bum any better from falling down though.
"Lilia!? Why are you- what are you doing here," You said, quickly pausing to glance at the old clock to check the time before continuing. "at seven in the morning?" You asked with a huff, Grim nodding at your side- both your and Grim's arms crossed in sync, to which Lilia heartily laughed. He quickly got off your roof and began to float outside your window- this wasn't the morning you were expecting and you did mind, sort of.
"Well I merely thought it would be a lovely idea to visit you, isn't that what you do with loved ones?" He said, his tone filled with mischief and a cheeky warmth. At his mention of 'loved ones' your cheeks flared up, a wide-eyed stare following suit. Nevertheless, you brushed it off, realizing that he could very well mean a dear friend.
That stung.
"Not by scaring them first thing when they wake up, anyways-" You began after composing yourself, only to be cut off by Grim.
"Hey, were you the one singin' outside?"
"I certainly was, good ears." He winked before continuing once more. "I thought it would be a lovely gift for the prefect. I've heard that singing for the one you love is a form of endearment, no?" With that, he disappeared with another, cheekier, wink.
Grim simply nodded, still half-asleep- you did too, for a second that is, until you realized what he said. His words played in your mind: 'the one you love'. A soft blush coated your face yet you said nothing. You probably misunderstood him, he meant friend- that was it for sure. You should stop getting these wried thoughts.
Just a friend. Right?
A sigh escaped your lips as you got ready for classes, Grim draped across the couch as he napped for a while.
After your classes, the Adeuce duo's shenanigans, random tasks from Crowley, reminders that overblots could still take place, and Grim's constant yapping about tuna- you were simply tired.
You were ready to go back to ramshackle, climb into bed and not get up till late- mainly because there were no classes tomorrow, you couldn't remember why. With a tired smile you left a talkative Grim at Heartslabyul for the night as you treaded for Ramshackle yourself, ready to plop onto your bed and forget everything that took place around you.
The urge to just disappear from all your problems.
Upon entering Ramshackle, you felt so comfortable- not like you normally didn't, but there was something different. You weren't sure exactly what it was, but your dusty old room- it felt mystic. It was as if someone or something magical has visited your room, blessing it it with a sweet sleep spell. You were tired, yes, but rather than groggily falling asleep, you felt as if you were lulled to sleep.
As if someone was singing you a lullaby, cradling you in comforting arms.
Tired eyes fluttered, struggling to stay awake, scared to miss something- someone. A small yawn escaped your lips as you began to fall from the need to sleep.
Endearing.
Before you could fall on the hard ground, a pair of arms caught you- a cheeky smile etched onto Lilia's lips as he held your sleeping from. A soft sigh released as he continued to sing, only now actually entering your chambers. After all, what kind of lover would let his beloved fall?
A sweet hum left his lips as he finished his song, his arms cradling you one last time before placing you on your bed. A soft kiss was planted on your forehead, a kiss to keep away nightmares.
He'd felt wrong in the past, entering your chambers as he cradled you to sleep- his beloved crying in his arms. It could be immoral to enter someone's room, yet how could he leave? Nightmares plagued you every single night, Grim noticed too- thus clinging to you in desperation to comfort you, when sleeping at Ramshackle.
With no choice left, A sleeping spell was cast in the dorm by Lilia, ever since the day he noticed how these horrid dreams affected you. You'd toss and turn, cry and mumble in sleep. Maybe fear from overblots? Perhaps homesickness? Or maybe it was pure lonlieless.
Whatever it was, Lilia was there- whether you realized it or not. A soft, blessed, tune to sing you to sleep.
As his usual night routine went, tucking you to bed and leaving- he propped himself up from your bed as he prepared to return back to Diasomnia. Yet, a soft tug at his sleeve stopped him; an incoherent mumble from your lips as your brows furrowed- still asleep.
Therefore, a kiss was placed on your lips- a spell.
Now your nightmares were his to keep, a gift in his eyes- for as long as you didn't suffer, he'd remain content.
Before leaving, he sung one last song.
"Sweet dreams"

Living with Their Fae! S/O

🐺 Your family had moved from Briar Valley to the Shaftlands so they could get away from the pestering of the fae being against the humans due to their history
🐺 When Jack first met you, you were messing around with a small squirrel as his siblings spoke to you
🐺 Jack was warned by his parents that fae were people to not be messed with, but, watching as you calmly smiled at his siblings as they screwed around while the tree-rodent ate an acorn while hanging off your horn, he couldn't help but rethink it all
🐺 You and him both joined Night Raven College, and many wouldn't expect such a delicate soul to be friends, nonetheless lovers, with a many-described brute like Jack
🐺 He is an amazing boyfriend through-and-through
🐺 Once you guys graduated NRC, you and him finalized your relationship and met each others' parents, and, newsflash, they love you both, and they have an amazing co-parenting relationship with one another
🐺 When your relationship started, you both basically began courting, as both fae and beastman normally stay together for life, never leaving one another for another being
🐺 Does he want children? Oh sweet seven, yes he does
🐺 He helped raise his younger brother and sister, of course he loves, and is amazing around, children
🐺 While many go against it all, since you're a fae and he's a beastman, you both go against them all instead, and end up having around three-four children, one of whom has both fae and beastman qualities, while the others have one or the other
🐺 Jack adores his children to bits, but, since you grew up with strong magic, you end up being more lenient with how they rest, so, in summary, he's the strict dad, while you're the hang-loose parent

🐙 Azul met you because of a deal opportunity, and, seeing how prominent you were in the Diasomnia dorm, alongside Lilia Vanrouge and Malleus Draconia, he wanted your power
🐙 After his overblot, he did not want to speak to anyone outside the twins, since it only made him wonder why he did everything without real reasoning
🐙 Despite his wrongdoings, hearing you walk into his dorm-room with a small plate of clam chowder and request to speak, it shocked him to his core, why were you forgiving him?
🐙 It took a while, maybe around a few months, for him to actually realize you cared about him more than any friend would, and it made him embarrassed. It's not that he didn't like you back, but, you were a fae and he was a merman, nonetheless, a octo-mer, you were far superior to him in his eyes
🐙 This merman has a complicated relationship with his family, as his birth-father and his mother divorced and how his step-father has tried to fill the man's shoes, and how his grandmother lived away
🐙 But, when Crowley organized a 'Family Day' in order to give his students a day or relaxation and pleasure, to which he boasted on how generous he was, of course, and you both ended up running into one another with your families in tow
🐙 Surprisingly enough, they bonded quickly, with his step-father and your father speaking on how they moved away due to racial issues between fae and humans, in which Mr. Ashengrotto offered advice, and your mother and his two female family members spoke about you both
🐙 Once graduated, you and Azul began to work on building up Mostro Lounge and his mother's restaurant, and eventually, you married and began to sort out your lives more
🐙 As a powerful fae, you could use special spells to sort out your bodily form, and you settled on a near-matching mimic octopus form
🐙 When you found out you were having children together, it was completely coincidental, and in turn, you had two children, one who took on more of a fae-appearance and the other looked more like a merperson
🐙 You grew up with magic being a key-element in your life while he did not, he valued hard-work, so, he was trying to help raise his children while helping you be more of a strict person, despite you being far stricter than him

🏹 Rook first met you while scouting around the surroundings of Pomefiore in search of some of the new first years, and that was when he stumbled upon a stone, which led him to a panicking you
🏹 Ever since then, whenever Rook got bored, he would shoot you a message and meet you up in that very spot where he met you, and he found out he loved you when he looked over at your face and saw the moonlight reflect off your face
🏹 He gave you nicknames much like the other students at Night Raven College, though, your's were more romantic-sounding than the others, since he called you things like; "Mon trésor", "Mon ange", "Mon lapin", and "Ma fée"
🏹 This guy is a 10/10 boyfriend, much like Jack. That is because he always can tell what you are feelings, even if you have the slightest mood change, he's the first to notice it
🏹 Rook never really had anything work-wise planned when he started attending NRC, but, once he met and started his relationship with you, he began to get more into planning, and his main one was to be a Photographer of Wildlife, since he knew how to find and interact with different animals
🏹 You met Rook's family earlier on in the relationship, and to put it simply, they all adored you so much. His siblings mainly focused on your horns and whatnot that made you a fae, writing down everything they found out about the species
🏹 While many saw him as a red flag, you adored your hunter to smithereens, despite the fact that he basically hunted you during your time at NRC
🏹 When you guys graduated, he and you moved back into one of the many villas his family has in the Shaftlands, since you couldn't leave your family to far, though, after a bit of negotiating, you and him moved in the middle of the Shaftlands and Sunset Savannah, so you weren't far from either families
🏹 This guy definitely planned on having a larger family, since his was larger than average, and when you finished having children, there was around four to five in total, like I said, he planned on having a larger family
🏹 They were like Sebek in a way, since they were all half-fae, he even visits your home with the rest of the old Diasomnia group to teach the children more about fae heritage, since Rook teaches them more human things than anything
🏹 He is definitely the let-loose parent, not caring what they did as long as it didn't put themselves or others in danger, he knows limits. Because of him being the fun parent, you're the stricter one, handing out punishments to your children, and sometimes husband, when necessary

⚡ Sebek always held his fae-half to a higher regard than his human-half, and for some weird reason, that had upset you, one of the most prominent fae in Briar Valley
⚡ You knew a small amount about Sebek's family due to your grandfather and parents serving in the military with him by their sides, and they kept in contact even once the Fae vs Human war ended
⚡ When first meeting you, Sebek kept everything very platonic, showing no amount of romantic interest in anything, the closest he ever got to feeling beyond something more related to loyalty was when he defended and pledged his daily loyalty to Malleus
⚡ But one day, he had hit his curb. He was doubting himself because he hadn't gotten much better with his sword or magic, and that upset him because it reminded him that he was half-human, and it was stopping him, he was stopping him from impressing his grandfather
⚡ You had been walking by when you heard the soft tears and sniffs of the half-bred man, and when you appeared next to him and hugged him, he couldn't even put energy into telling you to leave him along, no energy was mustered to push you away either
⚡ After hearing how you loved his human side, despite many believing it made one weaker, he would become far gentler with you than he was with anyone else, even his own siblings
⚡ Sebek eventually pledged his loyalty and oath of love by one another until death a couple months after the first encounter, and when he heard you say yes and felt you kiss his human ears, he flushed the biggest amount of pink ever
⚡ When you met his family, you were far less nervous than him. He lived on acceptance from the people he cared about, especially his family
⚡ Needless to say, his parents and siblings adored you to oblivion, and when his grandfather spoke to you and smiled before giving you a small hug of trust, your boyfriend immediately knew, you were to be his one and only one
⚡ It took a while, but during graduation, Sebek popped the question of marriage and being together forever, which gained the attention of both his biological family, your family, and your shared Diasomnia family members
⚡ Sebek has planned his whole life out growing up, becoming a knight and serving Malleus until his death, but, he never expected to get married, nonetheless have any children
⚡ But, hearing that you were expecting, he lunged at you and cried the happiest tears you had ever seen, and when you guys finished, you had three children, one being a half-fae, and the others being full-blood
⚡ Unlike the past, Sebek always told his half-fae that they should embrace their humanity, as it was far more of a strength than they believed it to be
⚡ He's by far the strict parent, the one that dishes out punishments and scoldings when necessary, and you were the chiller one, the one they would go to speak about for advice on relationships, not that they didn't want to speak to their dad about that, you were just, less blunt to put it at best...

Over 4 Miles Away
That’s how far away a crocodile can smell blood! Unfortunate for you, having a pretty rough time of the month and a bothersome crocodile fae as a close friend. Can’t he take it easy on you for once?
Sebek X Reader Period fic! AFAB Reader, they/them pronouns, period comfort, minor scolding (it is Sebek, after all)
1,700+ Words
"Human!"
You weren't sure if Sebek had been calling for you for a while or not, as the general chatter of passing time made it hard to hear even his booming voice over the crowd. But the frantic intensity with which he grabbed you sure made it seem like he had been. Like a flash, he wrenched you away from the doorway to your Magical Analysis class, leading you down into a nook in an adjacent hall even as the bell rang and students began to frantically shove into their respective classrooms.
"What the hell, Sebek! You can't just yank me around whenever you want." You snapped as you rolled your sore arm in its socket. Usually you'd be a bit more lenient to Sebek and his general antics. But not today. Today you were not in the mood.
Apparently, neither was he.
"I expected better of you, human! Do you truly think so little of us, your fellow classmates, that we would not think to consider your state of health? Personally, I find myself rather offended by your perception of us!"
"What are you even talking about?! And stop yelling!"
"Your injury! You would really choose to hide an injury from your fellow students?"
"...Sebek. I am not injured. What even gave you that idea?"
He scoffed, tilting his head away from you and crossing his arms in a huff. "And now you lie to my face? I certainly know better, human. You've smelled of blood since the moment you stepped foot onto campus."
"Blood? But I'm not-?" Your words ground to a halt, a painful twang in your stomach reminding you of why you were just so irritated in the first place.
"Frankly I'm surprised no one mentioned it to you earlier. It should be painfully obvious to every Beastman on campus."
Oh.
"Many of the fae as well. Those with acute senses at least."
Oh god no.
"Regardless, as your classmate and friend I felt it my duty to express my disappointment in… H-Human? Are you… crying?"
"No!" You were, but just a little. Tears of frustration and humiliation pricked at the corners of your eyes. You were tired, you felt like shit, everything hurt, and apparently half the school already knew about it without your permission. "I'm not injured, you stupid jackass! I'm on my period!"
"...Oh. Oh!" You could watch the realization bloom on Sebek's face in real time, eyebrows crawling up his face and cheeks blooming red as his expression twisted from distaste and disappointment into some type of embarrassment… or maybe horror? "So- So you are not injured then! That is good!"
"But apparently the whole school knows what time of the month it is!"
"N-Not the whole school! Just the Beastmen. Half the school, at most."
"And the fae!"
"Only some of the fae! Those with enhanced senses, such as myself and Lord Malleus!... And Master Lilia, as well."
Sebek's placations and panicked flailing did little to quell your mood. You just let out a short, pathetic wail before burying your face into your cupped hands, leaving him no choice but to hover awkwardly around you as you spiraled. You barely even processed his rather un-Sebek like ‘uh’s and ‘um’s and stammering, so lost were you in your own humiliation. God, and the day had only barely just begun. You just wanted to roll back into your shabby bed at Ramshackle and sleep until it didn’t feel like your stomach was trying to rip itself out anymore.
But just when you had internally decided to start pulling it back together in time for class, you felt a tense, stern hand rest itself on your shoulder.
“Your current state is not conducive to any proper education!” Sebek barked, clearly attempting to stifle his own fluster although his face was redder than a beet. “Allow me to escort you back to your dormitory.”
“Sebek.” You sniffled, rubbing your cheek hard with the heel of your palm. “I can’t. I still need the notes for this class, and I have to get Grim, and-”
“I will speak with Jack Howl this afternoon and procure a set of acceptable notes!” He insisted, leading you by the shoulder as he began to gently but insistently push you down the hall. “As for your monster companion, leave it to myself to make sure he is suitably disciplined for the day! You have my word.”
Were you simply too caught off guard by his unexpected change in demeanor, or too exhausted to argue? You couldn’t quite say. But it wasn’t until you were nearly to the doors of Ramshackle that you tried to raise an objection again. “You don’t have to do all this, you know. Not that I don’t appreciate it! Cause I really do. I just mean…” You sighed. You could try tiptoeing around what you were trying to ask, but there was really no sense in it. Sebek is the type of guy who is best talked to in clear and direct questions and statements anyway. “You don’t usually go out of your way like this for anyone but Malleus. Why now?”
He didn’t answer right away, instead steering you into the house and letting himself in behind you. He pushed you all the way to the base of the steps before letting you go and budging past you towards the kitchen. “Make yourself comfortable! I shall return shortly!”
“Sebek, what are you-?” Aaaand he’s gone. A tiny voice in the back of your brain chided you for letting yourself be steered around so easily, but it was quickly drowned out by the agonized screams of your aching muscles begging for bedrest. You slumped up the stairs to your room, trading your uniform for an unrecognizable band t-shirt you’d gotten from Floyd and a pair of oversized, hot pink sweatpants Cater had pawned off on you from the last care package he’d gotten from his sisters. You couldn’t even attempt to hold in the relieved groan as you let yourself flop limply onto your mattress, springs creaking dangerously beneath you. You heard your phone ping a few times on your nightstand, but couldn’t quite muster up the energy to roll over and reach for it.
You weren’t quite sure how long you’d chosen to lie face down on your bed, but it had been long enough to hear Sebek’s heavy steps ascend the staircase and stop outside your bedroom door.
“You do not have any chocolate.”
“...What?” You lifted up your head to see Sebek standing in your doorway with a silver tray (was that in your kitchen somewhere? You certainly didn’t recognize it.) loaded with what appeared to be a large cup of tea and a bottle of honey, as well as a small bottle of painkillers.
“I was under the impression chocolate was a necessity. No matter, I will acquire you some this afternoon.” As you rolled to make yourself more comfortable Sebek approached, placing the tray on your nightstand next to your phone.
“You don’t have to! I mean, this is more than enough. I didn’t even know I had tea.”
“It’s abysmal quality, but it shall suffice for today. You may take two of these,” He tapped the lid of the painkillers. “But then you must wait six hours before taking more.”
“Oh! Uh, thanks. I will.”
He watched, steely-eyed, as you shook two pills out of the bottle and downed them with a mouthful of sweet, floral tea. Even as you cradled the warm teacup in two hands he stood stiffly, hands folded behind his back, fidgeting slightly whenever he accidentally met your gaze.
“You never answered me before, you know.”
He jolted, eyes shooting to focus on a point on the wall past you where the wallpaper had begun to peel.
“I’m just curious, you know? Why would you go to all this trouble for me?”
“I… I recognize that I acted quite rashly this morning. In my concern for your well-being I failed to take into account any other possible causes, and in doing so had caused you great distress.” In between sentences you could see him worrying his lower lip with his sharp teeth, still refusing to make eye contact with you. “In assisting you I hoped you would consider my actions an adequate apology.”
“That’s… That’s so sweet Sebek. Thank you.” You wondered if you could pass off the heat you were feeling from your face all the way down into the pit of your stomach as a simple warming effect from the tea. Either way, it was a wholly welcome sensation.
“You are a… A very strange human. Despite better efforts I always- what I mean to say is- I can’t help but seem to find myself… Endeared. To you.”
“Aww, Sebek, does that mean you care about me?”
You expected his usual explosive demeanor as a response, an overwhelming burst of words and energy. What you didn’t expect was for his shoulders to slide up towards his ears, face reddening further as he glared at the wall like he was trying to set it on fire.
“Oh.”
“If you would excuse me then, Prefect!” he barked suddenly, erupting into a flurry of flustered movement as he unloaded the tray onto your nightstand in a few panicked motions. “There is more tea downstairs, I will return shortly after making a trip to the school store! If you would please-”
“Sebek.”
You latched his sleeve in between two fingers, keeping him from fully escaping you, and you could see him visibly gulp. You tugged him closer, gesturing for him to lean down to you, and when he did you planted a soft kiss upon his burning, pink cheek.
“Thank you Sebek. If it’s worth anything, I‘m pretty endeared to you too. Despite better efforts.”
As he pulled away you saw his straight-set scowl curl upwards into a wobbly grin that he failed to hide completely, bringing a fist up to his mouth to cover it with a faux cough.
“Do not think I will allow you to make a habit of missing class! Simply consider this an extenuating circumstance.”
You laughed, slumping comfortably into bed. “You got me, I’m just buttering you up so you'll let me slack off all day… That was sarcasm, by the way.”
“I am perfectly aware of what sarcasm is!”
“Really? Could have fooled me.”
“Prefect!”

This was it, you had been waiting for this day for what felt like forever, so why did your heart feel so heavy? Crowley had somehow managed to find you a way home, and as you stood in front of the mirror, you found yourself hesitating. The stupid question you’ve been avoiding is biting you now. Did you actually want to go back? You had made so many friends and although your start was rocky (and the overblots were rough), at the end of the day you felt welcomed and at home. Taking a hesitant step forward, you felt yourself tense, was this truly what you wanted? Leaving behind all those you’ve grown to love? What about the people waiting for you back at home? What was home? This was all happening too quickly and you felt yourself close to panicking.
“Wait,” The familiar timbre of Lilia’s voice rang out, halting your next step. Looking back, you felt your eyes water at his hesitant look, like he wasn’t sure if he wanted to say what he was going to say. “Don’t go…please.”
You felt the dam break, tears falling down your cheeks. You rushed over to the bat fae, wrapping your arms around him. You had grown the closest to Lilia during your time in Twisted Wonderland, finding solace in a fellow old soul. You had felt awkward, being surrounded by people who were younger than you, the only exceptions being Leona and Lilia. At first Lilia had found you fun to scare, popping in and causing you to flinch, but he noticed how you seemed alienated for two reasons, your age and your lack of magic. So out of his kind heart, he decided to tease you by using slang that he barely understood, only knowing it was all the rage with kids these days.
He found your scowl cute, pout adorable, and he nearly felt threatened for being the cutest. But it was those moments, late in the night when you’d open up and talk about how you felt, your home world, and your wishes. Those quiet times where you’d look at each other with fondness and a shared understanding. Lilia found himself realizing he was in it deep, especially when he slowly opened up to you about his past. Not about the harsh general, no, he wasn’t ready to share that, but about his time raising Malleus and Silver, sharing embarrassing childhood stories. Seeing your reactions to the silly things they went through in the past made his heart melt and his mind race. He wasn’t ready for another doomed romance. You were never going to stay, you weren’t a part of this world, so why did his heart have to choose you? When your arms wrapped around him, tears falling onto his shoulder, he felt a flutter of hope. A selfish part of him wanted you to stay by his side, and he was letting you see the exposed, raw part of him that he tried to keep hidden.
“I don’t know what to do,” You muttered solemnly, feeling just the tiniest bit of comfort in his arms.
Lilia pulled away just enough to look into your watery eyes, taking one of your hands and bringing it to his chest, “Whatever you choose, my heart will continue to beat for you.”
That seemed to make up your mind, after all, how could you leave the one you loved?
Turning to Crowley who had been awkwardly watching the entire encounter, you told him, “I’m not going back.” “You’re not?” Both Crowley and Lilia asked in unison.
“Why would I?” You asked Lilia softly. “I have you.” Giggling in excitement, Lilia couldn’t hide his joy, picking you up and twirling you around. You laughed with him, clinging to him as he set you down. His ruby red eyes watched you fondly as you smiled brightly at him, puffy eyes now filled with mirth.
“Are we about to kiss right now?” Lilia whispered, trying to smother his laughter, he was just so happy.
“Are you serious?” You asked, raising an eyebrow. “I don’t think that even needs to be asked.”
And as your lips met in a loving, smiley mess of a kiss, you felt that you made the right choice.

— MALLEUS DRACONIA | red
or, malleus forgets to tell you that his grandmother is coming (only remembering the day she does) and you immediately have an inner crisis.
wc. 792 words
note. hey guys, I guess thats it
"my grandmother—" he paused. "she is visiting today,"
you promptly choke on the tea like you would with one of lilia's homemade 'fruit shake' that he'd mistaken salt for sugar, and apparently added eggs for more flavor. midst your heaping coughing session—with familiar care malleus' face scrunches up in concern. he places a hand over your spine, like it's honestly gonna relieve the sting in your throat.
as patient as ever he waits calmly till you've finished losing your voice. "are you all right, beastie?" he asks.
beastie. you didn't know exactly when he'd started calling you that. you supposed it had already happened before you fully realized it on your own. strangely enough it oddly feels more affectionate compared to his old 'child of man' though you do admit it was better with 'my'.
well the old one did hold some sentimental value. you never did let go of his tsunotaro nickname, no matter how much sebek yelled, and bemoaned over.
malleus didn't mind. he liked it as well.
your face shifts into a deadpan, rubbing your poor throat. at the very least he could have told you that after you'd finished gulping down that damned water! "given how I almost died—no." you answer curtly, voice wavering several times. to be met with a confused stare.
"but you are alive and well," he expresses the obvious. politely leaving his arms hanging by his sides uselessly. as much as he'd like to keep his hands on you he supposes he'd be stepping over boundaries and possibly making you uncomfortable. and malleus would hate it if it turned out like that.
"oh malleus, dear. you don't get it,"
the new endearment term causes warmth to bloom in his chest, his lips twitch to a small smile and he fights the urge to just cradle you in the palm of his hand—cherish you, and hide you away from everyone else.
because malleus believes no one would love you like he ever does.
"what do you mean? get what?"
"nothing,"
"how would I get nothing? It must be something,"
if you did answer his statement you know it would just keep going, into malleus not understanding once again. but you suppose it's what makes him lovable, despite the contrast of what you are thinking (his large frame, and his refined features you could spend a decade staring at) he's like a child with an innocence that not a lot of people have.
he is very genuine.
you should stop thinking about it lest you fall deeper.
"nevermind that. your grandmother? hello?" you flail your arms around. hitting malleus once but he doesn't even flinch.
"hello. it seems like I forgot to tell you."
ignoring the greeting in the beginning that probably responded to your hello that wasn't even meant to be one. you huff. seriously? it seems my ass,, it would've been nice, great even! if he told you days prior to her arrival. and not like.. hours before she does.
never did you expect to be introduced to someone's family member. based off the countless books you stuck your nose in, in general it's very,,, intimate? to be fair it's a very big step and you can't say you're ready for it.
what if she doesn't like you? you're literally this,,, human that doesn't have any strong titles or anything. just plain, boring and ordinary. you're only granted the privilege to be this close with malleus since you're only really the first person to show him kindness besides the people that grew up with him.
if it were someone else, would they be standing in your position right now? would they be the one being introduced into a slimmer of his personal life?
so you've heard. she is a very popular person, strong but kind. rough around the edges but she was a leader that briar valley needed. sebek often boasted about her. definitely not in the same tone that he uses with malleus but respect from sebek might as well be winning 1st place in a competition with thousands of other participants.
you aren't even scraping the surface of how hard it is to get it.
probably sensing your inner turmoil, and seeing the troubled look on your face malleus subconsciously leans in. to provide comfort, to become a shoulder you'd lean in without the royalty-commoner thing separating you two.
the look in his eyes softens. "what's wrong?" he asks you sincerely.
yeah what is wrong? it's not like you're in any place to care about her opinion anyways.. not at all.. you think stubbornly, sweatdropping at the amount of thoughts screeching about first impressions.
if you meet her then at the very least—you don't want her to hate you. because hating you means relaying the flaws she saw to malleus, then swaying him that you weren't worth it, then next thing you know you lost him.
I am totally calm. you think, not hearing his words.
malleus opens his mouth. closing it, opening it then repeat for a goon ten seconds. it's rare to see him pondering about what to say.
"you look like a fish." you say.
he wonders how you could be so calm when you looked close to walking out a second ago.
"that's impossible." he responds.
then there's silence. just comfortable silence that two people whose relationship peaked to achieve it have.
"don't worry. whatever she thinks, I still—you still will be my child of man." my grandmother. she certainly would have something to say of you.
but she once said that love is unexpected. sometimes it happens the least you expect it, it's unforgettable and it conquers everything else. if your love is strong then nothing will break it. she had told him, and if it were really true. he's sure his love for you knows no bounds.
warmth presses itself to your heart, it travels up to your brain till it forces it to make you smile. "thanks."
you put up an awkward thumbs up. "you'd be my tsunotaro forever too."
he smiles.
for you forever doesn't exist, to him it does.
a selfish part of him just wants you to stay with him till destiny's time is up. and if you want he'll give it right to you. for now he won't make the decision that isn't his right to. your mortality is a problem but no matter how much he wants to get rid of him it's not his choice.
he hopes your love for him is as strong as the one he has for you. but then again, he doesn't believe that the love he has for you is stronger than anyone else.
yes. he has all the time in the world to love you
note. even for just a sec it was really nice to write this. gasp, is this a calling for me?

idk if this counts as a story idea but may I request Lillia x child human reader. It was during the fae and human war and you were his kid but got ripped away by the humans from the war and years later you reunite.
Stay safe pls!! <33
Lost and Found
TW: War Trauma!; Lilia does stalking again but only a little; You look like Lilia
Info: Lilia x Reader (familial); Angst with a happy(?) ending; Not cannon compliant; Not my finest piece my bad guys
🍓I LOVE writing Lilia. I started writing him for Cureé and I realized how silly he is. I was a bit lost on how to go about writing this since canonically Lilia didn’t know how to (or didn’t know he could) love until Malleus. But… tbh making shit up is what fanfic is for lol.
Fae can only be born through love. That was a fact that all Fairies knew. You could not produce a child unless there was mutual love. So, it was quite a surprise when General Lilia found himself stuck with a child who looked a little too much like him for it to be a coincidence.
He was not capable of love, at least… he didn’t think he was. He had no clue who could’ve mothered you — he had no idea who he loved, except the princess of course, but she did not love him back… Without your mother, what was he supposed to do? He was a General and he was in the midst of a war — how could he have time to raise a child?
He would’ve dropped you off on someone else’s doorstep, making you another unsuspecting person's responsibility. When he looked into your big red eyes, he knew he couldn't. You didn’t ask to be born just like he didn’t ask for you. Whether he liked it or not, you were his responsibility and he was just going to have to live with that fact.
So after drills and horrific blood-filled battles where he lost hundreds of soldiers, he would return home to you.
You were old enough to be walking and talking, and boy did you walk and talk. You wandered around his small quarters and babbled on and on about things he couldn’t even begin to comprehend. It was annoying, at first. He was used to silence when he was alone — he treasured it. You did not.
Still, he put up with it because he didn’t have a choice.
He would make you little meals — none of which looked all that… delectable, but you scarfed them down like they were the best things you’d ever had. Maybe they were.
Eventually, he began talking to you — about his troubles, about his day, about his workload. It didn’t matter, because you would sit there and listen attentively to everything he had to say and respond with the best sentence you could muster for your age.
He hated to admit it, but he came to care about you. He liked spending time with you after his long day, and worried about you while he was gone. Each milestone you crossed filled him with a sense of pride he’d never gotten on the battlefield. He adored each hair on your head, even when your little hands were tugging too hard on his own while you tried to practice braids.
He even began to teach you magic and loved how your face would light up when you got a spell right.
The both of you would go for runs together in the forest, and your long black hair — so much like his — would flow in the wind.
When it would storm, you would cry until he wrapped you up in a blanket and held you tight in his arms.
He would’ve been happy with this little life he had with you. He could’ve lived his days out like this and been satisfied.
War tears families apart, though. War does not have favorites. War doesn’t discriminate.
He should’ve known better, he should’ve been more careful, he should’ve moved you as soon as he knew humans were in the area. He didn’t, though. He left you there and promised you that he would be right back. He promised you that he’d keep you safe.
He rarely failed his missions, but this one he had. He came back to his home ransacked and you gone.
He searched for hours: Nothing.
He screamed your name until his throat was raw: Nothing.
He begged his men and friends to look: Nothing.
It was one of the few times in his life he cried. It was one of the only times that he could not stop. The little family portraits you’d made served as cold reminders of what he had lost. He could hardly handle looking at anything that belonged to you, so he locked it away in a little box and hadn’t opened it since.
That was centuries ago, and Lilia had long since moved on from his loss. He only hoped that the humans did not kill you — that they had enough humanity to let a child survive, even if you were his. That, maybe, you were still happy and alive out there.
He used what he learned from you to raise his boys — who were his pride and joy. Still, he missed you every time that Malleus would proudly show him a drawing of their little family. Or when Silver looked at him in excitement after finally perfecting a spell.
You would’ve loved your younger brothers, he was sure of it. If only you could be there to see what they’ve all achieved.
Still, they grew and time passed until eventually Malleus and Silver were both attending NRC. Lilia joined them — half to keep Malleus safe, half because it seemed like a fun idea. He had seen most things in his life, so there were few surprises left that could actually surprise him.
Seeing Malleus chatting with a near-carbon copy of himself, however, did quite the number on his old heart.
You were short — still taller than him, unfortunately — and had grown your hair out so you could put it up in a ponytail. Long like his used to be. Your red eyes seemed to sparkle in such a familiar way. His heart and his head couldn’t take the shock, so he slipped away before he could be spotted.
He continued to observe from a distance, trying to convince himself that he was wrong. That it could not be you after all these years. Everything proved him wrong. The way you talked, your mannerisms, and your love for art. Especially your keen eye.
When you cornered him in between classes was when he really knew it was you. You had a scowl on your face that could scare off any trained soldier. It was his scowl.
“Are you going to explain why you’ve been following me all this time, or am I gonna have to use force,” you said, just as he might’ve so many years ago.
He didn’t have much of a defense, so he improvised, “I like your art, watching you draw is interesting.”
“That's…” He was busted, “a bit creepy… If you liked my art you could’ve just talked to me, I know I’m a little scary looking but I don’t bite.”
Thus began the ruse of art-loving Lilia. The two of you would meet up around campus and he would watch you sketch these elaborate drawings like it was nothing. He always knew you would be a talented artist.
He got to know you again. Got to see what you liked, and what you didn’t like, and learned that you couldn’t taste — which explains why you ate his cooking so happily. He found out that you were saved by a loving human family who not only adopted you but did their best to let you learn about your origins. He knew you were loved in the way that you were meant to be — in the way he never would’ve been able to during that time.
It helped heal his heart enough that he was able to go through that little box of your stuff that he had kept for so long. He had missed looking at the little drawing of you and him you’d given him for his birthday.
Truthfully, he thinks you forgot all about him, and he was okay with that. Less pain for you to suffer through. Then, one day, that changes.
The pair of you were in his room because he had this cool piece of architecture you were dying to sketch out in person. He had left the room for only a few moments, but when he came back you were focused on his desk, and he realized that he did not put things back into the box like he usually did the night prior. You were staring at one thing in particular, the picture you drew all those years ago.
“I apologize for the mess,” he sounded behind you, but you didn’t react.
Instead, you picked up the little picture yourself to examine it closer. The silence as you observed the piece made Lilia’s skin crawl.
Finally, you turned to him with an awkward smile, “This is gonna sound crazy, 'cause we’re both college students, but… did you ever have kids — like, your own kids?”
Unsure of how to respond, he muttered, “Once.”
“Were they taken by humans,” you followed up.
“A long, long time ago.”
“This is probably a stretch, but, do you think that maybe you could be my dad…?”
He didn’t respond for a long moment, face going stiff as if he was once again that young soldier who found you crying on his doorstep after your mother abandoned you. You bit your lip nervously, unsure of what to do yourself when he was looking at you like that.
“It was just a stupid question, I’m sorry,” he didn’t respond, “I’ll go. Sorry.”
As you began to walk out, his mind came back to him and he kicked into full gear, “Wait, no, I’m not upset. Please… sit, let’s talk.”
Talk you did. About him and his life. How you disappeared and how he searched for you for so long. Then about his boys, and how much he loved them and how badly he wished that he could tell all of you the truth. You cried as hard as you could, and he swaddled you up as best as possible and wrapped you up in his arms — like he always used to do. He cried too, the hardest he had in his entire life. Because you were safe, and because you were reunited with him.
At some point, you asked, “Did you miss me?”
He could only respond, “Every single day.”

Agatha All Along Ep. 5 First Impressions
I'm kinda disappointed.
Agatha All Along has been working really well as a solo project. The practical effects and episodic writing make it feel really different than a lot of the MCU. There are a lot of non-MCU fans watching this. So I was worried that
...Teen's identity just doesn't flow with not just the plot of this show, but its emotional core. What does "Teen is actually Wanda's kid" mean to the story of Agatha's coven and their journey down the Witch's Road?
What I was hoping was that after the Witch's Road, they'd take some time to bring Wanda's legacy back into the show organically so Teen's identity had some emotional weight to it. After all, there's a lot of potential for drama there once Agatha realized her "familiar" was the child of the woman who took her freedom for three years.
So when Wanda's crown appeared on Teen's head, I didn't have much of an emotional reaction to the reveal itself. It was certainly a cool way to do it, especially with the perfect song, but it happened too soon, too fast. I am definitely interested in how Agatha immediately turned Teen's words against him and projected Wanda's misdeeds onto him, especially since he immediately proved her right by taking control of Lilia and Jen and threw them all into the muck. I'm just a little confused as to why he would do that. Guess we have to wait and see.
The episode in general just felt...rushed, maybe? I don't know, I felt like bits of motivation or bits of reasoning were missing here and there. Everyone turned against Agatha during her trial really quickly, and they should know that past trials were supposed to be group efforts. Evanora kept repeating that Agatha was evil, she was born evil, but never offered any details about what she did. And nobody asked.
And then out of nowhere in the last minute of the "trial", Teen suddenly contacted Nicholas Scratch on the Ouija Board (didn't he say specifically it needed more than one person??) and a ghost's voice that I guess is Scratch pleads for Agatha to stop killing Alice, because he wants his mom to be a good person. Okay...? Then Nicholas Scratch was apparently a child when he either died or was sacrificed.
Why was that the way to finish the trial? What exactly was this trial? If last week's trial was anything to go by, you'd expect the coven to learn something, or find closure somehow. The fact that Teen randomly contacts a whole different ghost and apparently finishes the trial for all of them because the coven is in complete chaos and did NOT reach any understanding with Evanora - if that was the point of the trial - ? - kind of goes against the spirit of what we've seen so far. Maybe the writing was over-edited and messed up because Marvel had to oversee the Billy reveal.
This episode might still grow on me. That's why I'm calling this "first impressions". Because I literally just watched it, and I'm still digesting it. Stuff like Nicholas Scratch's appearance as a ghostly voice and Teen's reveal as Billy might make more sense with future episodes, so I'm not saying it's ruined or anything. Overall Agatha All Along is one of the best Marvel shows, exceeding it's predecessor Wandavision in emotional intelligence and drama.
Also at some point one of the witches called Billy Agatha's "familiar" and I just realized that's why she kept calling him her "pet". Though, considering she called her actual familiar "Senor Scratchy" and she thought Billy was her son for a while, that makes it a lot sadder. And I do like that Agatha only needed to know that he wasn't her son to suspect that he was Billy Kaplan. (Billy Maximoff? Billyvision? Whatever Marvel goes with.) But what really confirmed it for her was when he got righteous with her, and it reminded her of Wanda trying to excuse her actions in Westview. That was good.

Hello, I finally got the courage to interact with you. I just finished writing a fic, then suddenly got an idea after finishing it. 😭😭😭 like nooo I just spend hours writing one, dont make me write another- Basically, I've been listening at the song Renegade for hours while writing and was like, holy- this might fit him. Yes, all the lines are from renegade and ASDFGHJKLASDFG *insert simping noises*
Okay, imagine imagine this General Lilia, you were just out to gather some food, then you stumble upon this ethereal injured fae. Because you just dont have the heart to leave the kid so you decided to bring him to your home (Yes, you first thought he was a kid) 🤣🤣 and then tended to his wounds. Then one day you just woke up, with him staring at you unblinkingly (⓿_⓿) And when you heard his voice, yup you knew he wasn't a kid lmao. Like how can you forget faes are known for having youthful looks
Of course he needs to leave, but he will stop by occasionally. Then you guys got close then you guys went past the friend part 🤭🤭😏 Okay, then one day, he advises you not go out too late, like go home before it gets dark, but of course where's the fun in listening to him.( ̄y▽, ̄)╭ Yeah, let's also add that you guys have a lover's quarrel before he lefts he pulls :
"You dont know me; You just know my name." And then your hurt self decided to wander then didn't realize the time.
Eventually, you get kidnapped cuz you didnt listen to him and itz all your fault. Then when he decided to come by at night, because he's a creature of the night, he didn't see your house lit. He thought you were just asleep, and just convince himself he was just gonna take a peek at your face then go back. AND THEN (for the 10th time lol) *insert Lilia's shock face* he didnt find you 😭😭 and man he is like (►__◄)
Fast forward, he finds. Before he unties you, he lifts your chin with his pointer finger (probably the only time he'll tower over you for real) and then, "You should've to him listen to me" Then the guys who kidnapped you realizes there's someone trying to free you. Then our Lilia shoves us to his chest 🤭😘, then pulls his shiny cleaver, and then proceeds to beat those guys while holding you protectively and making sure your eyes are not traumatized. Then after the ordeal was done, you were pretty shocked cuz he's been pretty gentle with you all this time albeit a little bit of tsundere. Like you just can't believe he did that. (You dont know he's the General of the right of the fae army)
"Don't you know what I am?" He says, but you're like: your a fae, what do you mean???? Then man sighs at how naive you are. Yeah, you guys make up (not make-out but why not 😏) in the end.
Hello Aqua 🌺🌷💚
You’re always welcome to interact with me. I don’t bite I promise 🥰💞 (well…I only bite Lilia 😆). I get you entirely though! The ideas never go away. You might finish one fic but then get hit with another. The muses love to spread their love…sometimes at the most inconvenient of times lmao.
Renegade? By X ambassadors? Thats the only one I know of 🤔
I love injured General Lilia being treated by reader stories. Just the potential?? Chef kiss. I’ll kiss your wounds all better general 💞
Ohhhh you thought he was a kid!! Ohhhh I know for a fact I would never let that joke slide. In fact, I’m sure Meleanor wouldn’t either 🤣🤣
Ahh yes the lovers quarrel and famous last words before shit hits the fan 😆 don’t we love regrets? But! In defense of my words, the reunions after these moments are always spicy. 🥰😚
…the brat has to have the last word lmaoo
Okay but the shoving you into his chest while he kills everyone who dared to harm you is my favorite. Mwah. Chef kiss. 🤌🤌
I mean?? If you never brought it up?? How would they know Lilia 🤨
…hey I’m always down for make outs as a way to make up 🥰💚

yuusona/self insert Rory Queens
“Back home I was deemed a witch but, being here? Why, it’s incredible.”
Voice claim: Lyney-Genshin Impact
Character info
He’s typically pessimistic and sarcastic but he doesn’t mean to be. At least, not to everyone. It’s a defense mechanism for him in a way. When he was first transported to Twisted Wonderland he was pretty mean to a lot of the other students but over time his shell got cracked and he began to actually relax in the strange environment. Staying at Ramshackle before it got cleaned and fixed up caused his health issues to flare up so he more often than not would bunk at Heartslabyul.
He grew up in a strict household with many heavy expectations placed on him as the eldest sibling. Often times he would argue with his parents about what he wants for himself and his future but they only paid attention to the parts they wanted to hear. They were definitely not fans of his “witchy” hobbies. For a long time before coming to Twisted Wonderland he felt an immense feeling of loneliness. Sure he was around people and he thinks he had friends but he always had to be careful. Careful with what he said and did, constantly gauging others reactions. Whenever he was free from school and chores he would head to the stables he went riding at and spend as much time as possible there. Any time away from home was a gift to him.
Fun facts: The tarot card deck he brought with him was able to be enchanted so he can use them to cast spells. He joined the Pop Music club when Lilia saw him strumming a guitar that was left in the club room, Lilia insisted to hear him play more and soon enough he was a member. He misses his horse so if he’s not busy then he’ll stop by and help at the Equestrian club. He feels immense guilt for preferring Twisted Wonderland over his home world.
Basic info
Age: 17
Height: 166cm, 5’5 (out of platforms)
B-day: June 29th (Cancer)
Dominant hand: Right
Family: Unnamed mother and father, 2 younger sisters, and a younger brother
Nickname: Zebra shark (Floyd)
1st year
Class A
Club: Mainly the Pop Music club but if he’s not too busy he likes stopping by the Equestrian club
Best subject: History
Hobbies: Drawing, creative writing, and studying different types of magic
Pet peeve: Struggling to ignore people who get under his skin
Favorite food: Sweets. He’s a fiend to Trey
Least favorite food: Anything sour
Talent: Observing his surroundings and others reactions
Character dynamics
Grim: Lil stinky guy. Seriously though Grim did get on his nerves at first but now they’re that one Rosa Diaz meme with the puppy.
Riddle: Princess and the Pauper frfr, besides Ace and Deuce, him and Rory became friends quickly after his overblot. It was Riddle who was able to help him get used to school life at NRC.
Cater: An unlikely friendship where they realized how similar they are. Cater helps him become more outgoing and Rory helps him with not hiding his real feelings.
Lilia: That duo that need to be separated. They can’t be left unattended or something bad is bound to happen. They share a lot of common interests and Rory loves hearing about his time as a general.
Vil: Mother hen with an ugly gosling. They first met after Rory had a Mental Breakdown and decided to chop his hair, Vil was not a fan. He fixed his hair himself and they formed an unlikely friendship.
Azul: They did not get along at first, like at all. With the events of Book 3 Rory assumed that he was an egotistical and selfish person but, following Book 4 he started seeing through the charade he puts up. Rory begs to see his merform one day.
No the formatting will never stay the same, it’s impossible for me to make things cohesive and he’s bound to change as time goes on

*~Nasty Neige~*
AN: GOD, I lost control over this fic the second I started it, I didn't mean to make this thing so long. Which is why it took me so long to get everything down and editing. I know I missed something but I can make edits as I put links up on the other entries.
Word Count: 5.3K
Warnings: Neige being a general creepy guy. Obsessive thoughts, stalker vibes. Swears. She/They Yuu OC.
Pairings: Vil/Rook, Vil & Yuu (Siblings), One-sided Vil/Neige, Epel/Deuce?/Jack? (Guess)
Enjoy~!
Starter, Part 1 (Here), Part 2 (Heartslabyul), Part 3 (Diasomnia)
Classes didn’t start for another week and the open house event didn’t start for another day, so Yuu didn’t have any reason to be awake before noon. But she was because her trauma-filled body kept hearing noise downstairs. The first few times she was able to drift back to sleep, not hearing anything after the initial sound and assuming Grim was walking around looking for snacks. But then she realized Grim was still sleeping tucked up against her stomach, more floorboards creaking downstairs with no explanation. She does her best to not jostle Grim, reaching to the nightstand and grabbing her phone, cursing under her breath as she sees it was barely past 8:30 am.
She didn’t change out of her pjs, slipping on her houseshoes while she left the bed. Making sure Grim was tucked into the still-warm covers, Yuu grabbed her golf cub, making her way downstairs and avoiding the loud boards. Even after multiple renovations, there were still floorboards that creaked and on bad storm nights the whole house sounded like it groaned. (A part of her simply made peace with that it wouldn’t be Ramshackle if it wasn’t a little old and creaky). Besides her, Grim was the only one who knew what boards hated being stepped on. Ortho knew them too but he didn’t walk much. Epel seemed to take sick pleasure in stepping on each one whenever he came over, and the rest of her friends were either too naturally loud or heavy to not make noise in the dorm.
She would have felt more at ease if whoever was in her house was being loud. Her friends were loud, even if they knew she was asleep. But whoever was there was trying to be quiet and failing. Once downstairs she tries to hear where the intruder was, poising to swing. The sound of the toaster popping gives her the element of surprise, rushing into the kitchen.
Both she and the blond intruder scream when they see each other, Yuu just barely stopping her swing. Vil braced himself against the counter, breathing in a forced calm pattern before glaring at her. His hair pulled back in a messy ponytail, face bare besides a tinted lipgloss. Dressed in a modified cropped yellow hoodie, high-waisted black leggings and simple sneakers, “I swear you and Epel are determined to give me gray hairs! Why are you just so ready to deal violence!? It’s 8 in the morning!”
Yuu leans against her golf cub, trying to ease her own adrenaline spike, “Yeah! It’s 8 am, why are you in my house!? Also, are you dying? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you without foundation.” Her anger grows seeing the disheveled model look at her with a pinched face, not answering her as he turns back to plate the food he was cooking on her stove. She opens her mouth to yell again, only to look at the kitchen window and realize, “...Did you close the blinds?”
Yuu had an odd relationship with blinds after meeting Rook. Yes, she kept her more personal areas heavily covered and only opened them for her monthly dorm deep clean, but the more communal areas of the dorm were free to be viewed from outside. It was nice sometimes to be relaxing on her lonesome only to hear a tap against a window. A tap could be Jack and Vil on their morning runs asking her to pass them glasses of water or fruit she had on hand. Maybe Lilia coming to scare her or show her a new melody he’d learned. Ace or Deuce coming to beg her for help after they’ve pissed Riddle off. And Vil knew Rook would rather enter through a window than a damn doorway. Either way, open blinds at Ramshackle had come to mean ‘Come in’. Something that Rook delighted in whenever he wasn’t too busy with his ‘errands’.
“...” She looks around, finally taking note how all of her downstairs windows seemed to have not only their binds but the thick curtains closed, “Are you and Rook fighting?”
“Oh, he’s going to wish we were when I get back in the dorm…”
She laughs, watching the model bite into a slice of toast with a runny egg on top of it, “Oh sevens, the year hasn’t even started yet. Why are you fighting?”
Vil huffed, rolling his eyes, trying to avoid her gaze. Talking with one’s mouth full was just rude, plus he knew if he started ranting his food would be cold before he was done. If he had to hide out at Ramshackle for the day he would need the protein. Glancing down at Yuu, he openly takes another big bite of toast, just to show he wasn’t going to answer her anytime soon.
“Ok, fuck you too then, I’ll just open the blinds while you’re being a bitch.”
He chokes on a bite, nearly dropping the plate in his rush to shove it onto the counter. Nails sinking into her shoulder to stop her, not caring at the mush of food falling out of his mouth as he shouts, “NO!”
Yuu hisses, a hand coming up to yank Vil’s hand away from her, “OW!? Ok, what is the issue? Is Rook finally coming to shave an undercut on you or something?”
Vil sighs, giving her a small apologetic look before he swallows, “Neige is in Pomefiore. I…really didn’t want to deal with him today so I managed to make my way here to hide out. I don’t think anyone saw me, but I didn’t want to risk someone seeing me from the windows…” He takes another bite of toast, fingers wiping yolk from his lips, “Sorry about your shoulder…”
“...” Yuu sighs, placing her club against the wall and waves his apology off, “It’s fine. I hate Neige too but like- Wait, why is his ass here?” At Vil’s equally bewildered shrug her brows crease, “The open house doesn’t start until tomorrow? Are you sure he’s like here, here?”
“Seeing how Rook was yelling outside my room about his ‘Roi de Neige’ being in Pomefiore and he had to make himself look presentable, I would think so.” Vil scoffs, rolling his eyes at the very idea of anyone liking Neige.
Good ole Rook, scaring the precious wildlife to get them to escape a foreign danger. Might as well send him a text to ask how long he thinks it’ll be until Vil was safe to enter his dorm again.
“Well, get comfy I guess. Idia made sure I was set with cable and various media players, so there should be something on the TV. I’m going to make breakfast for me and Grim.”
Vil moved out of her way, finishing off his breakfast before grabbing a mixing bowl to hand to her, “Sorry, I should have made you two something as well instead of just myself.”
“Please don’t. Your unseasoned pallet would send Grim over the edge.”
The dorm leader, moves the bowl out of her grip, smacking her on the head with it before putting it on the counter, “Fuck you, you don’t need to use salt and garlic salt in the same dish.”
“They are different things, Vil.”
“They’re both salt.”
Neige looked around before fully exiting from the mirror, a hand quickly making sure his wig was in place. It wasn’t hard borrowing a disguise from his friends on his current movie set. Decked out in a mid-length pink wig and pale blue contacts, a simple white shirt, indigo overalls and his dark brown boots he wasn’t the least bit recognizable. Biting into his lower lip softly, he squealed, staring at the castle against the early sky. That’s where Vi slept! The blond had been in this very pocket dimension for years, he walked on these paths, talked in the halls, bathed in the water- He needed to focus. Giving himself one last preening, he calms his breath and walks toward the dorm.
Each step made his heart flutter. Excitement and fear pulsing in his veins the closer he got to the large, pristine castle. He was breaking so many rules; he wasn't supposed to be here for many reasons. The open house wasn't even open for the Seven's sake, he didn't go to this school, and he had no one's permission to be here. But he had to, it was his only chance. The open house would no doubt have people crawling all over the campus. Neige wouldn't be able to walk around as himself, let alone be able to get some alone time to talk with his Vi.
Ah. Just the thought of him alone was enough to make his knees weak.
He closes his eyes, hands gripping onto his shoulders in a self-hug when he finally steps onto the main area of the dorm. He breathes it all in, nearly missing a figure in an old yellow hoodie race past him to exit through the mirror.
He opened his eyes in panic, looking to see if the other figure was suspicious of him. He lets out a breath in relief. Whoever they were, they seemed more interested in running to wherever. Vi had made posts about how proud he was of his dorm members taking morning runs, maybe they were simply late for a run with friends. His palms get sweaty as his thoughts start to race at the thought of Vi running with him.
The image of Vi in his black and light purple designer tracksuit, hair pulled back into a wind-swept ponytail. Lips open in a pant as sweat drips down his jaw- FOCUS. He wasn't here to fantasize! He could do that when he went back to his dorm. Hopefully after gaining something to remember his trip by.
His eyes scan the courtyard. It was beautiful as expected, with elegant pathways of carved stones and a large elaborate water feature giving a calming background noise to the area. Apple trees with bright red fruits scattered amongst the deep green grass. The area was so clean and proper he could almost imagine he was back on Royal Sword grounds.
Pulling out his phone he starts to walk on the grass, whispering a small apology for ignoring the very clear sign saying to ‘Stay Off’. Vi had posted a video in late spring. He and a few other students had replanted a number of trees after a mysterious storm had wrecked multiple dorms in NRC. The blond was shown smeared lightly with dirt, a smile on his face as he gently placed a nursery tree into a hole. The video ending on Vi smiling to the camera, air-kissing the leaves of the tree and a message showing up. 'Grow up lovely, little tree'
(Neige won't comment on how he spent an hour in the bathroom connected to his dorm room, trying to hide his sobs as he promised the paused video to grow up to be a big lovely tree. He doesn't think he was successful if Chenya's side-eye was anything to note.)
He wanted to find that tree, he needed to. The urge to simply touch it, feel the bark and soil that were touched by the hands of perfection. Maybe, if it wasn't too tall yet, he could even kiss those same leaves…
It took him nearly an hour, 9 am rolling around and the sun making its formal appearance in the sky, but he found it. Tucked neatly at a distance from two adult trees, small blooms in the branches but no fruits. This was the tree.
Neige takes a picture, walking closer and snapping more as he posed in front of the tree. He looks the tree over and frowns, in such a short amount of time the tree had matured too tall for him to properly kiss its leaves. He couldn't even take a blossom without struggling to climb the still-thin tree. He was light, but he couldn't risk harming the tree Vi had put such love and dedication to.
Instead, he looks around, making sure there was still no one walking around the courtyard before he gently placed his hands on the trunk of the tree. One last nervous glance around, he licks his lips, leaning forward to lightly air kiss against the bark of the tree. Pulling back he felt his nerves alight, filling him with excitement that pulled him back toward the tree. This time his lips connected against the rough bark, lips stinging from the contact before he pulls away.
An indirect kiss with his Vi. The tree was their shared project now, another creative child they can look back on together. He can barely hold back his squeal, bouncing on his heels before wrapping his arms around the tree in a hug. He even peppers a few more kisses onto the bark.
Rook had only sent a single text to respond to her. Stating he would come for Vil when he was done with his hunt before ignoring her other messages. Even now, as lunch rolled around, there was still no answer from the French man.
"Do you not have anything that's prepacked or frozen to eat, potato?"
Yuu looks up from the kitchen table, glaring at the model searching through her cabinets, "You know, you don't need to be here. You could just go back to Pomefiore and deal with your waking nightmare." She turns back to her phone, ignoring Vil's groan and him slamming the cupboard shut.
"You know I can't. Not until I’m sure Neige is gone anyway…" He sighs, moving to sit beside her at the table, "Well, it's not healthy, but I guess I can afford to skip lunch…"
"..." She huffs, rolling her eyes and standing, "No skipping meals, Regina. How about you let me get you a cheat day snack and we can spend time watching terrible movies?"
Vil raised an eyebrow at her, a single black painted nail tapping at the table as he thought her offer over. Vil didn't take cheat days often, if ever. But…he was probably due for one. While he found her food to be disgustingly overseasoned, Yuu did make efforts to modify her favorites so he'd feel comfortable indulging himself. He clicks his tongue and stands from the table, "I suppose. Nothing too greasy dear, the stress of today is already doing a number on my skin. I'll go pick some movies out."
While Yuu was busy in the kitchen, Vil got to work kicking Grim off of his game system. The cat huffed and yowled, but quickly made his way to the kitchen to beg Yuu for a snack. Once Grim was gone, Vil got to work picking from Yuu's horrid movie choices.
Vil could't blame Yuu for not knowing anything when they first met. As the cover story went, before he spoke to them, Yuu was an extremely sheltered child who hadn't been allowed to interact with society. Their social disconnect and blank references to common knowledge only sold the lie. He remembers talking to Crewel, mildly worried of Yuu's home life and what kind of person would raise such a child.
But now he knew them better and didn't need to hold back his distaste for their movie tastes.
What he wasn't expecting was for them to drag him into these terrible movie-viewing sessions. They were at first just painful, having to sit and watch mid-tier actors do mediocre jobs. Sitting quietly as they flubbed lines or the crew barely performed their duties.
But at their first viewing session, Vil took notice of Yuu's attitude. They were open on their negative opinions of the films, pointing out the same issues Vil found and even some he missed. Before he knew it, it'd become a biweekly event of picking a terrible movie, new or classic, and ripping it apart together. Sure people could call it 'mean', an A-list movie star tearing into indie films. But they were bad films. And he was free to say whatever he wanted in his private time.
He planned on staying the whole day, so he picked more movies than he'd normally allow for a single session. He hummed a song under his breath as he started to set the TV up, a melody he heard Epel mumbling under his breath over and over. The sound of popcorn popping just barely heard from the kitchen. Soon, Grim returned to the couch, making a point to push against him just to be an annoyance, Yuu following behind him with a tray. A bowl of popcorn with a pitcher and two glasses of juice.
They set the tray down on the coffee table, Vil catching a glimpse before they shut the lights off, “Potato! Why would you make this?”
Yuu sits beside him, also shoving their shoulder into his chest in a mock cuddling position, “Shut up, Mexican- I mean- Xochian popcorn is a perfect cheat day snack! Plus I only used like half the mayo and cheese. It’s basically flavorless, just how you like it.”
Vil glares, taking a single kernel before starting the first movie, “How you’ve survived this long on your diet both amazes and infuriates me.”
Neige kept close to the walls of the dorm. There weren’t too many people walking around, almost all of them simply minding their own business. One even waved at him as they passed in the hallway. He had to pat himself on the back, his disguise was working perfectly!
His nervous walk had slowly turned into his normal skip, eyes roaming along the walls at the ornate architecture and glamorous frames of art. In his bliss, he nearly skips past what could only be the dorm’s lounge. A large seating room with multiple couches and duos of armchairs scattered on polished marble floors. Off in the corner sat an ebony grand piano overlooking the orchard of apple trees. He inhales deeply, the scent of apples and vanilla filling his lungs, with another deep breath, he can pick hints of other notes. Pinches of a flower he couldn’t name and some type of earthly produce. Neige wondered if the smell was something Vi had created or if the dorms naturally smelled this refined.
The lounge was empty, giving him the pleasure to walk and explore the place as he pleased. He took his time to inspect the couches, taking a photo now and again and wondering if he could purchase a matching loveseat for his side of his dorm room. Throw pillow in hand, he walks over to a pair of curtains, lifting them just to peek behind them. The silk pillow slips from his hands, stunned as he looks at a peacock-themed throne. Vi’s throne, the one he sat on. Neige bites his lip so hard he feared he would draw blood. Looking behind him and seeing no one, he stepped into the hidden cove where the throne sat, closing the curtains behind him and hiding from stray eyes.
He drops to his knees instantly, folding his arms under his cheek as he rests his head on the seat of the throne. It was so cozy…Smelling of fresh linens and a dash of lilacs. Nuzzling into the fabric, Neige lets his mind wander. The idea of being in the same school, the same dorm as his Vi, getting to kneel at his feet and rest his head on his lap. His nails dug into the cushion, breathing picking up as he imagined Vi petting his hair while he hummed to him.
After getting his fill, he stood up, phone raised to take a picture of the throne. A dozen photos later he was back in the dorm hallway, smiling at the growing album of photos he’d have for his digital dream board. He pauses in front of a series of photos lining the wall. He then realized it was the portraits of past house wardens, each of them hand-painted with a neutral, regal expression. Neige smiles, looking over each beautiful face. This dorm was made for Vi, a place where only the beautiful and talented could be allowed. Not only had his fellow actor been accepted but he had conquered. His steps picked up speed wanting to see if Vi had a portrait at the end of the hall.
No museum could compare to the masterpiece before him. The portrait of a younger Vi stared back at him, sitting at a 3/4th view sitting on a chair with his hands placed on his lap. His hair was pulled back, a simple updo with the ombre ends curled on top of his head. The crown Vil normally wore tastefully askew was placed on him properly, it looked so odd but still so perfectly Vi.
He looks down the hall, making sure a group of students had gone around the corner before he looks to the other side. Seeing the coast was clear, he quickly stepped closer to the portrait, leaning down and pressing his lips to the painting's hands, kissing at the smooth ivory fingers. Before he could stop himself his mouth opened, tongue peaking out to lick a quick strip against the surface. It didn’t have a taste past the hint of bitter, he wondered if Vi’s fingers tasted bitter. It would make sense, Vi worked a lot with potions and natural cosmetics, Neige would deal with the bitter taste if he could kiss Vi’s fingers for real…
"Why are we doing this to ourselves?"
"How does he just forget the name of his sister?"
"Do you hate me? Is that why you've made me a part of this cursed ritual?"
" They haven't spoken for like only a year! How do you just completely forget your sibling like this!? Did they both sustain heavy brain damage!?"
"This is the industry I've dedicated my life to…"
They were only on their second movie, but both Vil and Yuu were ready to bash the TV as a form of self-defense. That or simply weep at how nonsensical the plot was. Vil couldn’t really believe half the movies he had been forced to watch were from the same studios he had worked with. It felt surreal for him to see ex-costars acting in what were possibly the worst films ever conceived. It scared him at times- was that his possible future? Going from box office hits to acting in direct-to-disk spoof movies?
Though they joked about him being at least better than direct-to-disk, Yuu was firm on stating Vil wouldn’t ever star in a flop. His fanbase was too devout to him not to buy tickets, even if the movie looked bad. With his acting skills alone, he could at least make a flop into a cult classic.
(“I mean look at me. I love watching shitty movies. It’s even better when an A-List celebrity shows up in one. Like, it’s half the fun to figure out why they’re there than following what the plot is.”)
Vil groans at another scene, lying against the couch with his arm resting over his eyes, “By the sevens, they’re related!”
Yuu groans, snatching the bowl of popcorn from Grim, grabbing a handful before offering it to Vil, “This is genuinely annoying. Do you remember what the plot is?”
Sighing, Vil reaches for the pile of Disk boxes, grabbing their current movie before reading the summary. Mid-read he pauses, staring at the back of the box with a blank expression before he tosses it away, grabbing the remote from Yuu’s hands, “We’re starting over.”
Grim groans, having climbed over their laps to place his head firmly back into the popcorn bowl, “Why!? You guys don’t even like these movies!”
“Never thought I’d agree with Grim, but Vil this is painful I want this to end.”
Vil shushes her as he restarts the movie, “No, they’re not siblings; they’re childhood friends.”
“Wait, what?” Yuu looks between Vil and the screen in confusion, “No…We would have caught that! We would have caught that much of a scenario prompt!”
“Well clearly we didn’t, so now we’re restarting the movie with the proper context. Maybe it will actually save the film…”
Yuu groans, sinking into the couch, “This is somehow a new form of torture, I know it is…”
He was going to be arrested one day, he knew it.
Neige rested his back against the closed door, eyes looking around the room with wide excited eyes. Vi’s room. He was inside Vi’s room. He could die right now and do so with bliss.
He couldn’t tell if he was sad by seeing the room was empty, or relieved he wouldn’t be questioned by his idol and holder of affection. He’s not sure what he would do or say in his disguise under Vi’s critical gaze. Neige feared he’d either crumble and spill the truth the second the blond lifted a perfectly shaped brow, or he’d keep his identity hidden and simply tell Vil everything.
That would absolutely get him arrested though.
But Vi wasn’t in his room, no one but Neige was there to stand and exist in the space. Arms moving to hug his body, trying to hold in the happy bubbles of laughter as his eyes roam around the room. Soon he gathers the courage and pushes off the door to explore. Everything was meticulous, a place for everything and everything in its place. The only oddity was the haphazard way the bed was made. His fingers twitched, wanting to properly make and tuck the covers, he could even fluff Vi’s pillows!
Sighing sadly, he decides against it. No need to make Vi worried about someone weird being in his room without his knowledge…
Instead, he walks around, stopping at the vanity, and allowing himself a single spray of a perfume bottle’s bulb. Fingers ghosting over the color-coded lipsticks in their custom-made container, fighting the urge to use one…Vi wouldn’t notice, right? No…No, he couldn’t. Vi cared so much about his makeup, Neige couldn’t mess with something so precious to his idol.
He walks over to the bright red exercise ball, a smile on his face as he entertains the idea of bouncing on it for a few minutes. Instead, his eyes catch a semi-hidden hamper tucked into the corner. Was…oh by the seven. Was that Vi’s dirty clothes hamper?
Neige stood frozen, nails picking at his cuticles and threatening to break the skin (Don’t bleed here, do NOT bleed here). He looks from the corner of his eye, a bead of sweat threatening to slide down his face. The door was closed, he was all alone in the room with no way of telling when Vi would come back. He bites his lip, stepping closer to the basket as a smile breaks across his reddening face. He could…just for a little while…
Before he knew what came over himself, Neige had his head buried in the hamper, inhaling deep with gasping breaths. Hands braced so tightly on the edges he feared he’d actually break the material under his grip. He pulls his head out, tilting it back with a wide smile on his face as he pants, a manic laugh bubbles out of his lips.
Crunch
Neige freezes, eyes dropping back to the hamper in fear he actually snapped something. The sound happens again, from the door-
He nearly falls from how fast he turned, looking to the open door to see a boy with soft purple hair standing there. He had a nonchalant look on his face, one hand inside an oversized black hoodie with the words ‘TRACK’ printed across the front and the other holding a bright red apple with a few bites taken out of it. Blue eyes met blue and Neige had the brains to try to start an apology. Something to gain enough goodwill to explain…what he was doing, “U-um-” Oh sevens, Neige knew this boy. This was one of Vi’s friends from the VDC! He’d tell!
Epel just shakes his head slowly, his hand reaching out of his hoodie to grab the door handle, “Don’t even wanna know... Whatever the two of y’all are doing, just keep the damn door closed.”
And like that, he was gone. The door closed behind him and it was almost possible to imagine he was never even there. Neige let out a heavy sigh and felt his entire body relax, Epel didn’t seem to recognize him. He was also painfully uncaring of seeing who could only be a stranger in his dorm leader’s room huffing his dirty laundry. Well at least he left…the two…
His heart rate picks up again once he realized what Epel had said. He only needed to turn his head in a quarter turn before he saw who else Epel was talking about. There on the bed, like he was always meant to be there, was Rook Hunt. He sat on the messily made bed in a dull purple and grey plaid flannel, dark grey pants with a strap around one thigh, and mud-stained boots. Short locks managed to be pulled into a small, tight ponytail. One hand resting against his propped-up arm and the other holding an arrow delicately, a bow slung over his shoulder. Neige couldn’t even shake, he felt his blood freeze as he looked in bright green eyes.
Rook tilts his head as he taps the arrow against his crossed leg, “Don’t mind me Roi de Neige. You’ve truly been a lovely hunt for me all day~.”
For a split second, Neige let his eyes dart to the closed door then to the window before snapping back to Rook, “I-I was just-!”
“Shhhh.” Rook stands from the bed, walking closer and Neige realizes with terror the strap around his thigh was holding a knife. The blonde leans down to softly tap the tip of the arrow to Neige’s nose, “Run.”
“W-wha-?”
“Run.”
It was dark when Vil woke up, humming at feeling a heavy hand shaking his shoulder lightly. Blinking awake he sees Rook standing over him with a calm smile, his ponytail just barely contained by an elastic band, “Mon roi, It’s getting late. We should get you some dinner and then a proper bed.”
Vil sits up, stretching his arms and looking around the room. Next to him was Yuu, slumped against his side and sleeping peacefully, the bowl of popcorn knocked to the ground with a few kernels on the carpet. He clicked his tongue softly, did he have time to clean that up?
Rook didn’t give him the chance to choose, pulling him from the couch and steadying his still sleepy body easily. Once Vil was stable, Rook moved to place Yuu into a more comfortable position. Vil stifles a yawn, grabbing the blanket from the back of the couch and resting it over them. He smoothes down their hair, smiling when Rook puts an also sleeping Grim closer to the prefect, both softly cooing seeing the first year instantly grip the cat monster closer.
“Alright, back to the dorm, Rook.”
“Oui!”
Vil barely hisses a ‘shh’ before shoving Rook into the hallway, slipping out after locking the front door behind them. Walking back, Vil huffs and runs his hands through his hair, pulling it free from his ponytail, “So…Did you have a nice day?” He really hoped he didn’t.
“Oui! It was so wonderful. I got to shadow mon Roi de Neige all day! Such a thrilling hunt to remain outside of his eyes until I chose to pounce. It’s why I was so late retrieving you mon Roi”
Son of a- “Great, so happy your day was so fun Rook-”
Vil stumbles, feeling Rook suddenly pressed right against him with an arm wrapping around his waist. A teasing smile on his lips as a hand reaches up to tug at an edge of the yellow hoodie he was wearing.
“It has only become more magnifique seeing you’re fond of my old Savanaclaw hoodie mon chou~. I had always feared you simply threw it out! But to know you kept and made it your own has filled me with such joy!”
“...” Vil sighs, looking away from Rook, ignoring the laugh he lets out, no doubt seeing the soft blush on his cheeks, “It was all I had on short notice…”

CELEBRATING NEW YEARS WITH THEM + NEW YEARS EVE! RSA + DIASOMNIA
GENDER NEUTRAL READER A/N: Enjoy my contribution to new years. Also all stories, and most characters part is connected somehow.. read all parts to get a few extra info.. you don't have to though! Slight spoilers in the first headcanon for Lilia, so skip over the first sentence!
POMEFIORE + HEARTSLABYL + IGNIHYDE / SCARABIA + OCTAVINELLE + SAVANACLAW / RSA + DIASOMNIA /
A new year was nothing exceptional to the fae, as he lived through many years with his long live span... He didn't find the mark of a new year worth celebrating.. that was before you convinced him of course.. You had convinced the young fae King to throw a party.. to mark the start of a new year.. You had rarely asked for anything since your marriage.. So, he couldn't help but agree... Had you known that Malleus would have interpreted your wish in such a grandiose way, you may have gone back and asked him to rethink your decision, for your lover not only held a banquet so grand, it could be on par to a wedding.. all of the kingdom's nobles and some of your friends will be attending as well.
He didn't bother batting an eye on the expense, as he wished for your happiness above all else, had he known you wanted a simpler event with only your immediate friends and comrades, he would have reconsidered his rather excessive decisions but what could you do.. your lover went this far just to make you happy.. you couldn't help but find the action quite.. cute..
The event was quite exhausting, but you spent the day with your friends, and greeting some guests and generally trying your best to enjoy the event as it was.. though you did get in quite the trouble.. when Lilia had convinced you to participate in a drinking game.. You didn't know how many drinks you had by now. All you knew is that you had to beat Lilia, your pride was on the line here! It wasn't until Malleus took notice of your excessive drinking, that you stopped and everything after that was a blur in your memories..
The next morning you woke up with the excessive hangover.. And whenever you approached Malleus he got quite flustered.. 'What the hell did I do last night?...'
Lilia was quite shocked when he had gotten the invitation, all the way here in the the land he had chosen to retire in. He figured if he were to go, he should go with you.. I mean the two of you were bound to go together anyways, it just took a little convincing for him to make you step out of the comfort of your home and to the palace, but then again, the sly fae has almost always gotten his way regarding such events. You had expected the journey to take long, yet the trip went by unbelievably fast.. Needless to say you were grateful you didn't suffer from motion sickness...
When the two of you arrived at the banquet, it was fairly crowded.. and somewhere along the lines your partner had left you, telling you to enjoy it here 'that sly bastar—' before you could finish your thought someone had asked you to join your table.. unexpectedly It was one of your old friends! The two of you began talking and an hour passed, when suddenly you noticed how the crowd gathered elsewhere.. being the person you were, you didn't pay it much care.. until of course you realized it was Lilia.. up to his old man antic's again.. He apparently challenged the ever so competitive monarch to a drinking battle! And.. the King had to carry them out, while they struggled in his grasp.
"Lilia what did you do?" you asked the ex-general, as he gave you a sly grin. "Don't look at me like that and answer the questi— oh." he continued grinning, as you started putting the puzzles together.. "You know whatever your planning is not gonna end well right...?" he simply nodded.. Later on you found out the two of you will be spending the night in the castle as well.. Maybe you should rethink the idea of dating an ex-general who's this rash with decisions..
Silver hadn't expected to get and invitation out of nowhere during his break, his original plan was to spend the entire break with you, under warm blankets, eating snacks and whatnot while watching your favorite shows on Twistflex.. it wasn't anything exceptional.. yet the that's how the two of you spend Christmas together, and enjoyed it.. if you were honest Silver was such a sweetheart, the two of you spend a lot of time gathering ingredients and going shopping together.. And according to your schedule, right after celebrating new years as a couple, the two of your would go visit his father. Yet now everything had changed, as the king was throwing a party for the New year, something rather unexpected, but who were you both to deny.. after all you could do your plans another day as well! After all, you guys spent every moment you could together, being partially inseparable..
The two of you got dressed, taking your time to go to the banquet, knowing fairly well, the earlier you leave the more the traffic will be.. after all it was a invitation to the king's palace.. everyone would want to go early, and expect traffic to be fast if they left earlier.. that and you and Silver slept in and almost forgot about the invitation entirely, but then Silver got a call from Lilia and he remembered that their was an event the two of you should be attending..
The two of you made your way inside.. only to discover his dad's little 'prank' he calls it.. the two of you just got there, and began rethinking your choices.. maybe saying you two were out of town was a better idea then coming here.. Even so, the two of you enjoyed the meeting, catching up with friends... and etc.. The two of you enjoyed the day, even after whatever the hell Lilia did... since no one would tell you two.. what had fully happened.. that was until you two were on your way back home, and overheard Sebek ranting to his partner about Lilia's actions.. The two of you stared at each other dumbfounded, before letting out a laugh.. Something that Sebek didn't notice, but his partner surely did, giving the two of you a light wave. The two of you waved back, acknowledging their presence, before making your way back home.. Hopefully, the rest of the night could go well and you could continue the plans you had made previously, instead of falling asleep.
It took a lot of convincing to get Sebek to take a break.. but Malleus forced both him and Silver to take a couple weeks off.. He was more than capable of protecting himself.. But Sebek.. is well uhh.. Sebek! The two of your Christmas went surprisingly well, as Sebek was fairly cooperative for someone who didn't plan on taking a break.. The two of you even had plans of travelling out of town for new years.. So as far as you both were concerned.. you two hadn't planned anything for new years.. That was when you two received an last minute invitation to the king's banquet..
Usually Sebek would've rushed to the banquet, yet this time around your partner took his sweet long time.. something unexpected, yet pleasing nonetheless.. The two of you finally left for the banquet an hour into the party.. And when you got there another 30 minutes had passed.. And the sight was truly one to behold. Lilia drinking along with Malleus's beloved spouse, the two were chugging down glasses. And you could've sworn Lilia's fiancé lost a bit of their life force upon seeing the dreadful sight.... as for your boyfriend.. he froze in his spot. He didn't move.. 'was he even breathing?—' you thought, slightly concerned for the health of your lover.. He was loud but lovable nonetheless!
Sebek didn't recover from his shock for the rest of the night.. and you couldn't do much about the scenario- as your friends quickly dragged you away, separating you from the half fae. Your friends questioned what took you so long... and etc.. all of you caught up on missed times, planning to visit each other later.
Only when you planned on leaving did Sebek return to his senses, he seemed on edge throughout the banquet.. He started ranting, in a loud tone.. You prompted him to quiet down, hoping no one noticed.. Someone did however, but thankfully it was his friend Silver and his partner.. you waved at the couple who seemed to be getting ready for their departure in quiet the rush.. "Sebek calm down!"
Che'nya was invited to his friend Trey's new years party, and he dragged you along.. Sure it took some convincing, since you preferred to stay at home away from crowds.. But one look at those adorable cat eyes, as he pleaded with you.. and you knew you were doomed.. Hey.. at least Trey makes tasty treats, it's not all that bad.. The two of you arrived pretty early on.. and you quickly got dragged into their events that had been planned before you arrived.. "Ok 21 questions.. or whatever—" they slurred slightly on their words, obviously a bit tipsy, "We ask questions to whoever the bottle lands on and they take a drink if they can't answer" you assume that they had lost a few rounds before, and that's why they're so tipsy... "I don't think this is how we play this game.." you mumbled to your boyfriend, who chuckled and urged you to play along with their whims.. after all it's not always the two of you go to such events.. 'That's a lie, he forces you to go to all his friends events because he likes seeing you interact with others'..
You sat at the corner of the couch, beside your fiancé.. hoping to avoid the bottle at all times possible.. but to your luck it lands on you! Outrageous! "Ok, Y/n..." you could've sworn you saw an evil glint in Trey and his spouse's eyes, as if they've been waiting for this very moment.. maybe that's why Riddle was so drunk in such a short spam of time... You began to understand Riddle more, as you reached your fifth shot.. everyone making use of those 21 questions to learn more about how you and Che'nya had ended up dating... and why you didn't tell them about your engagement sooner... This must've been their revenge for the late announcement you thought, as you felt the 6th shot sink straight into your stomach... You glared at Che'nya when your round was finished, he seemed to have enjoyed your torture quite the bit.. "I nominate Che'nya for this round" you said aloud with a burst of confidence, it was probably the alcohol.. but no one was going to complain.. they could mess with you two a bit more!
By the end of it the two of you were rather tipsy.. the last thing you could remember was you and Che'nya making it a goal to finish this pie.. of some kind.. It was a bet you made with... er... Cater!! Your mind went blurry from there.. you probably fell asleep.. as the next time you woke up you were back at home.. with the most horrible of hangovers.. "Screw you Che'nya—" you muttered underneath your breath, as Che'nya chirped in from no where.. "Hey! What did I do?!"
'This wretched, lovable cat!—"
Neige had attended Vil's party.. which you were more than sure was just for appearances.. You sometimes wondered how naive your lover could be for attending such an event, even after he knew of Vil's blatant hatred towards him.. that's if he realized such a thing.. He considered the two of them as friends.. which you heavily doubted was a mutual feeling... The two of you had separated pretty early on in the party, and you choose to stay out of getting to close to any journalist or popular news company ceo's.. Like the founder of Fairy news or the leading chairmen of Twistfeed.. You were sure had you met them, they'd ask for an interview.. after all many were curious about your relationship with Neige..
The two of you had recently publicly confirmed your relationship.. And had been together for about an year and a half.. the two of you remained fairly private in terms of your relationship, as the media was quite intrusive to celebrity couples, and you had seen it first hand with your fellow co-stars.. But enough of that! It was new years.. As you skimmed through the sheer selection in accommodations, you couldn't help but turn starry-eyed at the sight.. and that was when your lover began dragging you out of the area without an explanation.. he seemed mad... Extremely pissed.. which was something quite unlike your beloved sweetheart. You choose not to ask for an explanation when he said "we have to go".. something happened and he obviously weren't in the mood to explain..
You knew for a fact, that if any journalists were there.. which they most definitely were.. this would make it to the new's tomorrow morning.. yet you didn't mind.. valuing your lovers emotions over image.. the next morning went by normally, and when you brought up the previous nights incident, Neige paused...

Child!GN!Lilia Vanrouge!Reader in the Remarried Empress
I decided to do GN!Child!Lilia Vanrouge!Reader. Requested by @spritofthesea
Preface: I know nothing about Lilia as a child, but I assume that he was most likely raised to serve the monarchy of Briar Valley. Thus, that behavior (as well as a bit of childishness) reflects itself when you get isekai’d to this world.
Sovieshu
Upon finding out that his wife had found a lost child near the palace, he was very concerned. After all, you would most likely steal the Empress’s attention from him. We all know how jealous he gets after he realizes that Navier gives him a taste of his own medicine.
But, you wouldn’t be yourself if you didn’t start playing pranks every now and then. So, you would often mix up Sovieshu’s papers so that he can’t find the one he needs. You’ve also spilled an inkwell or two and blamed it on the mistress.
Eventually, the Emperor had enough and sent you to be trained by the army. He didn’t feel bad when he saw his wife crying and begging him not to, and he even said that it would do her some good as well. Jokes on him though because in just a few months you were running the army as a child because of your advanced military experience.
This made him even angrier, but he couldn’t do much about it. He couldn’t banish you anywhere without proper justification. He once sent you on a merchant ship so that you might learn some discipline, but that didn’t work. Sure, you got more cultural experience, but you weren’t easily broken.
Rashta
She first thought you were adorable, until the whole inkwell incident. Rashta could be petty if she wanted to, so you could say that you met your match. While she would go to Sovieshu for comfort, you would go to Navier. That caused an even bigger rift between the two.
However, you weren’t one to cause harm through your pranks. You were aware that there was a child within the young mistress (thanks to your hearing abilities, you were able to hear the baby’s heartbeat), so your pranks would only cause slight annoyances rather than fear. A few times, you did bring up her first child.
When the Emperor sent you off to join the army, Rashta hated to admit that she was glad you were gone. That means that she had more time to deal with her old owner before you went telling on her. But when you came back, you were still the troublemaker you always were, just with the title of General.
A child had more power than her, and she was genuinely terrified. Because you had worked your way up to the top, and because you had magic, she felt as though the life of herself and her baby were in danger. But, the Emperor sent you on the merchant ship for a cultural experience.
Navier
She found you in her hiding spot, and she immediately took you in. She made sure that you had a proper bath and a change of clothes as well as a room that you could stay in. Through all this, she found herself getting attached rather quickly. Within a few weeks, she considered you her own.
Whenever you pull a prank, she has trouble trying not to laugh. But she will have a talk with you and treat you as a good parent would. She would take away some privileges and ‘ground’ you by making sure you attend behavioral classes.
But, her husband had enough and sent you to the army. She cried and begged him not to, but he was putting his foot down. Navier wept each night, feeling as though she was missing her child. Then, she got a letter from one of the generals saying that you were now a general as well because of your military expertise.
Then, her husband had sent you on the merchant ship, and she was actually in support of this idea. It will help you in the future. She herself made connections in Luipt because she knew some of the language, so she was setting you up for success.
Heinrey
He saw you at the New Year’s Ball, and he saw how you stuck close to Navier. He doesn’t blame you, and by the looks of it she really cared about you. So, as he got closer to her, he made sure that you knew he accepted you.
It got to a point where he became a kind of step-father figure whenever you saw him in his bird form. You could understand what his squawks meant, and he often enjoyed your silly personality. As well as sending letters to your adoptive mother, he sent letters to you.
When he found out that Sovieshu had sent you into the army, he was there to comfort Navier. But what he didn’t tell her is that he felt her loss as well. He also felt like his child was gone. If he wasn’t angry before, he was definitely angry now. He was proud when the Empress told him that you were quickly rising through the ranks, though.
Then the merchant trip, but Heinrey wasn’t as angry. In fact, he was there in time to receive you in the Western Kingdom. There, he made sure you and the rest of the crew were comfortable during your stay. He listened to any stories you had to tell him, and he did so by paying all of his attention to you. Great step-father material.
