field of daggers - 8/10. very pretty ^_^. seems religious in a way? i may be a little stupid and interpreting the lyrics incorrectly, but that’s how it sounds. the outro is very nice.

new moon - 8.5/10. “i feel the aching of an old bruise healing” gguuuuuhhhh!!! lyricism is off-the-charts. i am still taken aback at how well this album sounds, i’m seriously impressed.

I am a novice in Darkwing Duck lore but oooo do I want to make and develop the friendly four versions of the main villains so bad-

Like a egotistical superhero ending up adopting a kid and finding love a sidekick? Amazing, awesome, I love that.

But FOUR misfit superheros finding each other and sticking together, even when everything is going against them, and adopting TWO kids?! Even more amazing, lovely, I adore that, I want more of that.

Anyways take a sketch of Friendly Four Quacker Jack- and some small ideas + brainstorming I have for now

So basically for them, I wanna do the same approach they did with Negaduck; same personality traits, flaws and all, just different scenarios.

Nega Megavolt and Nega Liquidator are easy enough to make heroic; both have a reason to be against Negaduck (don't want to make Nega Liquidator want to poison his competitors tho -even with me going with a corrupt business forced to turn good in harsh situations- probably will be Nega Liquidator trying to stop Negaduck from messing with his products and ends up getting murdered) (Nega Megavolt I can just change Negaduck into being his bully instead of Friend, and the cause of his powers). Also Megavolt already has heroic actions towards his electronics, so that helps (Negavolt still views electronics stuff as sentient, just doesn't think of them as enslaved; maybe he views them as workers or something)

Now for Nega Quackerjack I'm thinking that the Wiffle Boy company still took down his company and drove him to villainy for a bit- but when Negaduck's raise began (and toy bans) Quackerjack turn heroic to stop him; maybe Negaduck even tried to make him serve him while he was still a villain, but that went very very poorly (maybe he somehow met Gosalyn that way, dunno yet). He still holds his grudges against Wiffle Boy, but isn't going to go into a violent rampage over someone playing the game (probably just get judgy about it, unless it's his kids then he'll just try to show him how much better his toys are and eventually one of the other of the four just gotta drag him away and let him mope)

Now for Nega Bushroot, Rhonda was the one who was cruel to him and Gary and Larson were chill. He still wanted to solve world hunger but got rejected still (dunno if it's cause of Negaduck involvement this time or just of the funders greed). That's all I got backstory wise. Thinking of either having him have a lower murder count (or zero murder) or having him murder someone before joining the Friendly Four and it just absolutely worsening into his low self esteem (maybe the guilt is what pushes him towards good and makes him want to stop Negaduck). However I don't want Rhonda dead cause I think she'd be a cool lil villain, so I don't know.

Oh I also got some ideas for Nega Gosalyn's character and Negaduck's relationship with her. So basically Negaduck, as we know, is highly egotistical and craves power and violence. So, in his eyes caring for someone is a sign of weakness; he absolutely refuses to do anything you're supposed to do with a kid (tuck them in, comfort them when scared, be emotionally available for them, etc.) cause it embarrasses him and makes him feel weak. So instead, he just gives Gosalyn all the toys confiscated and lets her live there, thinking that's enough (spoiler alert, it's not enough and leads to Gosalyn feeling both unsafe and unloved). Also, Negaduck being a tyrant and seeing all the havoc he and Nega Launchpad has caused for the town (some frist hand experiences) reaaaally doesn't help her feel any safer.

Nega Gosalyn's well mannered personality is a direct result of these feelings of unsafeness. She still has her spirit (and mischievous nature) and wants to do good, but she's also very scared if she acts out she'll hurt or killed (Negaduck wouldn't actually physically hurt her, but he does verbally threaten to do so when she messes up; yeeeah he should have never gotten a child). So she tries to help the side of good from a safe distance where Negaduck and Launchpad don't notice. Over the time she's adopted by The Friendly Four, her mischievous personality starts to slowly come back.

The Friendly Four is a poly couple.

I think it would be insanely funny if one day, after Nega Gosalyn (and everyone else in the town for that matter) gets readjusted to daily life and schools being open, that her class gets a new student and she turns her head only to see Nega Honker at the door. And they both just stare at each other like

Naturally they do not get along (their poor teacher, first had to deal with teaching a bunch of behind students who most definitely are still traumatized from Negaduck's rule, and now she gotta keep Nega Gosalyn and Nega Honker from beating each other to a pulp) (Nega Gosalyn would totally throw hands for her close friend and now brother Tank) (Nega Tank is older so he's in a higher grade)

Okay! I've missed out on talking about the past few episodes but the show quite literally finished today as far as we know so it's a good as time as any I suppose to talk!

So yep. Spoilers for The Ghost and Molly Mcgee's possible series finale below!

So! To start off, Jinx vs the human world!

It was alright! Had good moments, bit of a lacking song near the end but the VILLAIN SONG? pretty damn good! Rob Cantor knows how to make a villain song and make them GOOD good. The rest wasn't bad, I liked Molly gaining her power from any kinda positivity, which is boosted by good talk of her forever friend, the Chen family scenes (well, besides that kinda. strange. scene about Mrs Chen asking ollie about kids but disregarding that) were really good!

There had been some light speculation about Geoff being the one who spooked Ruben as a kid but it was mostly in humor, so that ending up being true was neat! Definitely funny but also neat. It was also nice to see more of the Chen family coming to terms with actual ghost stuff and Ruben learning to chill with the ghost hate.

Jinx was a fun villain! Her VA did an amazing job as always! She stole the show in nearly every scene she was in and it was cool to see a ghost actually try to go up against the human world, as the title would suggest. She did go out in a pretty cheesey way but eh I don't really think it was bad, the show's based on friendship anyway.

The overall plot wasn't bad, it took Molly outta the picture for most of it but ya know I guess I do get why. At least it was in an actually reasonable way, by the villain actually being competent. It was cool to see how Ghosts are kinda invincible, but especially with the Chairman's robe, the og Chairman was a good showcase of that terrifying power but was cut short, meanwhile Scratch wasn't really all that a good showcase cause it's just Scratch, who iiiiis lazy lol.

It all felt kinda. Safe. If that makes sense. Like there wasn't really a moment where I felt in suspense. It was still enjoyable mostly, but I didn't really feel myself getting too worried about what could happen.

So yea, like a 6 or 7 outta 10 from me 👍.

Now! For the finale!!! WOO

THAT WAS AN 8 OR 9 BABEY!

I'll be honest, a good amount of S2 hasn't been as good as S1 for me. When S2 is good, it's REALLY good like 100% Molly or All in the Mind or Faint of Art. It's just that S1 was just SO good, some of S2 falls flat to me.

That said, The End felt like a season 1 episode to me cause THAT was sooooo good.

I felt actual stuff with most of the scenes, I was actually getting worried while Moll called Adia, I did wanna shed a tear when the truth hit Scratch and they used the exact same line read in Episode 1 when Moll had called Scratch to come back when he ran away MAN IT WAS ALL SO GOOD.

And the songs. MAN. The first one was good, a banger but nothing too extravagant, even if it's about being extravagant. Scratch's song tho? THAT SONG? ABSOLUTELY LOVE. That fucking hit me so hard, I legitimately wanted to cry a bit cause the lyrics, the delivery, the instrumentals, it was all so damn good! And the ending credits song being something that calls back to the usual end credits' theme, man that was so fucking good.

Here comes the heavy truth!

So the most popular theory ended up being true. Scratch is indeed, the Wraith of Todd, the background character who had small resemblances to Scratch.

Honestly I'm not too sure how to feel about it. It wasn't exactly shoved in our faces and wasn't quite hinted at, all that much unless you reaaaally paid attention to certain things. It wasn't completely outta nowhere, but also it did feel a bit, ehhh. The execution of it all was just superb tho, the voice deliveries, the animation, all of it was so well done. So I'm not entirely sure how to feel about it right now, other than the fact they executed it really well.

The whole scene with Moll and Scratch talking about what could happen when Todd is alive again, man. That hit. It hit good. That actually made me feel more nervousness than most of the previous episodes. Man what can I say. They just nailed it.

And the ultimate ending, with Todd having the personality of Scratch and his little quirks, yet supposedly not retaining his memories from when he wasn't in his human body. I say supposedly, cause tbh? His callbacks felt a bit on the nose, almost exactly like how Scratch would be when he was messing with Molly. He is a trickster at heart after all.

Can't say for sure if he doesn't or does remember cause who knows! Maybe he doesn't, maybe he does. For now tho, it seems as tho he doesn't.

And tbh, I still enjoy it.

Is it bittersweet? Yes. Extremely melancholic? YES. But it's done so well. It didn't feel underwhelming, it felt sad yet done so in the right way.

Everyone trying their best to get him to remember got me ngl lol that was. That was sad man.

Also I saw the Bill and Bob's ok adventure book I see yall tgamm crew.

Todd leaves to see the world and see Adia. Leaving Brighton, and Scratch's new family behind. Again, really bittersweet but done right. Todd is happy to live, and so is everyone else for him.

What a good ending. Bittersweet to a T.

Now as most of us know S3 might not happen. Who knows due to what, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't cause of fan demand, cause I'm p sure there was a lotta that for this show. And this was a fairly good way to send off the show! It had a pretty good run and it was usually up there with BCG, TOH and amphibia when discussing disney channel shows thatve come these past years, and for good reason.

I'll be honest. I'm kinda already missing it. I remember fondly of watching it for the first time and the next episodes, especially when it had aired near my nephews birthday and I had been wrapping his presents. I still enjoy listening to the few podcast talks and whatnot the crew have done for the show. It feels so. Sad. To know we'll probably never get a continuation of anything from this show. Not even a book. But all good things as they say.

If they do continue it tho, I wonder how it'd go. Probably trying to convince Todd to remember who he is and was, his time as a Wraith and as a Mcgee.

But who knows! All I can say is, thank you The Ghost and Molly Mcgee. It's been great. Really. Thank you all.

I don't think this is gonna bring them much money and they're gonna wish they could explore more, they feel like they're from the outside looking in, they're going to these beautiful beautiful countries to stay for just a few hours then fleet. there's a bit about emotional loss, I think they're gonna have an experience here that they really don't wanna miss but they'll have to fly away. there is also a message of being unsafe, one of them may not be in the best health. one or more members may become really excited about returning to spend a good amount of time here, someone may feel at home or intuitively connected to one of these countries, like a spiritual rebirth or something, it's what I'm feeling, it's hard to tell more specifically because this is collective energy, but yea someone will feel contemplative.

for fans: it'll actually go very well, I kind of expected a big mess but it will be really good, there is probably projects happening and it'll go really nicely. really reaaaally loud screaming. it seems divided in the sense that some people really won't want it to end, while others will think it's too long. I think some people are going to invade their space, like clogging the airports, but overall, people seem pretty organized here. fans will feel things they haven't felt before, they're gonna like them even more after that tour. I think there are some bad news that fans will have to be very mature about and definitely some will fail at that, i don't know what it is exactly but one of the members may not finish a concert or have to sit down for one. fans will feel distant from the members, possibly because it's only 4 days in an entire continent, but also likely because someone will have to step down.

MEXICO

fans: fans will definitely have way more fun than members, they might expect more than they will get tho, more sexy, for example. there is a sense of community and understanding between each other, but very distant from members. I think it will be very physically demanding, there might be a delay of some kind, it might take longer to start the concert. it feels weird, probably because this is a collective and there is all types of people there, but it's like seeing celebrities as commodities and being disappointed when they act like people. i don't know what that means, but this energy is very demanding, i'm uncomfortable. the constant message here is that they will want more sexy than they will get and they will be very disappointed about how things will go, it's very weird and I don't wanna read this anymore.

BRASIL

fans: they will be disappointed too, but very differently, I feel upset and like "oh that's a bummer", the messages are really not as heavy. I really think that if a member is not finishing a concert it would be here, because I got that same message again + there's this sense of curiosity with fans, like they wanna see what's happening backstage. overall, it's a great experience, people will really feel like they got what they paid for, they will think that ateez really are stars and there is a lot of playfulness, lighthearted energy, it's a good time, it seems like everybody will have lots of fun.

ARGENTINA

fans: I think this will be dangerous for some people, like having to pay close attention to their material goods, things like food and water might be too expensive, but mostly I'm thinking that people might get robbed or something, the message here is to be protective of your things, don't be careless and lose them! besides this, it will be a really good experience, people will leave this feeling on top of the world, exhausted, but they'll definitely feel like it was worth it, all the trouble they might have had to get there, the time they waited, it just has that nice concert haze, their bodies will be feeling bad but they won't even notice it. it's a typical concert, "last night was a dream" and "it changed my life" will be said, it'll be fun.

COLOMBIA

fans: conditions might not be the best, like bathrooms might not be available during the concert, i think someone will pee in the crowd, cause in the card there is this woman holding a water jar really closely to her and just letting the water flow from it, with no care. that's funny. again, it's a very typical concert: the crowd is gonna feel that spiritual thing, they will feel a sense of rebirth and renewed confidence, like everyone is connected and the world is a beautiful place.

Hi, i wasnt sure if my ask got lost or if you haven't answered it yet (if do you have it please ignore this) but i was wondering if the heart necklace elizabeth wore as candy was an actual item candy wore (possibly pat giving it to her) or whether it was just the costume department giving this to her to wear? Since she pretty much wore it the entire show.

When I saw the final ep i was so surprised by the full murder scene, especially when the axe went into betty's head i was just 0_0. Next time I do watch it tho I'm def gonna have to count the times she swung it, to see whether they did 41 hits, i dont think they did and just skipped ahead. I think they should have made her keep going to get the full feel of just how many she did.

I have two other questions to ask since I didn't get them.

1:who the heck was that random woman who was with allan?? i mean she came out of now where and suddenly they were making out and i'm just???? i guess it sorta showed how little he really cared about his wife being murdered??

2: i dont really get what happened with don and the judge, when he had to give the court money, and then he went to jail for 24h? then later on he had to give them more money and he said in jail for 3 days? i dont know if you know more about what was going on and why he was in a cell for days?

What were your final thoughts on the final? I also found the ending..not weird but like..oh?? like them riding off into the sunset, and of course going past the motel.

no it didn’t have any significance in the book, that was all costume design n stuff!!! i think it sorta fits her, idk she seems like the type to really like heart shaped jewelry and think it’s super cute to get it as a gift or something… maybe she did get it from pat

well in the book she reaaaally liked those cheesy romance cards, she used to exchange them with pat all the time so i guess that was maybe related to it??

honestly i thought it would be more graphic because the book went into a lot more detail (but ofc tho like.. you’d have to be kind of ill looking for scenes in film that perfectly portray how the murder went in books because they tend to be a lot more descriptive, like the way the skull was broken into by the axe for example)

1. the random woman was a neighbor i believe or someone he worked with! in the book it was only implied they had a relationship or assumed by witnesses, but maybe i didn’t read into it right and it was for certain that they did have a thing. tho yes there is some passiveness from allan with the whole thing, he’s not really a likable person in my opinion

2. not sure if this law still applies and if it’s the same in every court, but even lawyers have to follows rules n stuff, so because don kept speaking out of line and kept breaking all these rules like don’t talk to the media, he was charged a fine and had to stay in jail for an amount of time

i talked more ab how i thought of the finale in another ask and i don’t wanna bore u if you already read it xddd but in case u didn’t, i liked the ending! in the book they only ended with the montomerys leaving wylie but i really loved how love & death added that sort of reflective part to all of it, and i really liked how they added the where r they now kinda thing at the end

boiiii if anyone was ever inspired by MY works to make fanart- i would legitimately die have no restrictions whatsoever. i would tell them "please do whatever the fuck you want i am honored you wanna do anything at all"
