Session with Shy~

Hello everyone!

So I recently had a session with the lovely @axie-axo (it was her first session) and now it's story time for all my lovelies!

So I had just gotten off the bus and was waiting for Aria to get ready and come out of her motel, and when she did OF COURSE we were on different sides of the place 😅

Once we met up officially Aria brought us along the ocean side road and into a little cafe where we both enjoyed a bit of breakfast together, glad I had her there to lead me around in my own country 🥹

After breakfast we decided to head back to the motel and well... um.... you know....

We started off with the gaming challenge from my earlier post, she had never played Mario Kart before but thought she would easily wipe the floor with me, talk about delusional... 😎

At the end of every race I snuck behind her and squeezed her sides until she finished the race, sometimes I was whole lap ahead of her so I got to tickle her for a whole minute!

And it also helped that she started crashing more and falling off the map when I did~ 😇

After that I tickled her a little more unrestrained, I won't go into too much detail about the tickling this time around as I actually have a few videos that I'll be releasing soon~

Then we set up the mattress restraints and I gently got her comfortable in them, then the real fun began~

Then unfortunately it started getting pretty late and I needed to get back home, and so we said goodbye to each other and hugged as I hopped on the bus back home

Final thoughts, I want to let everyone know that Aria is an incredible lee and an incredible person. I had the best time and I'm glad she did too!

Rereading some of you posts about Jesse and adore Seto being an overprotective father it's so good and I can absolutely see the rest the squad just messing with him once they've accepted Jesse. Like I can absolutely imagine Joey making an off handed remark that he wouldn't be surprised if Jaden and Jesse got married straight out of high school and Seto just short circuits while Yugi is just "Seto, Seto he was joking HE WAS JOKING PUT THE DUEL DISK DOWN!"

Don’t apologize. I’m having a great time. I’m so glad you guys love my little goblin brain child. And I love that you guys are interacting so much. It makes writing a lot more fun when I know people are enjoying it.

So don’t feel bad. Honestly you’re helping me organize my thoughts.

Oh Seto is so overprotective. Just look at how he is with Mokuba.

He finds out that Jaden has a potential boyfriend (they’re just friends right now) that sleeps over in Jaden’s dorm all the time (probably sharing a bed with Jaden) and he’s ready to overhaul the Slifer dorm. He knows Jaden likes it the way it is. But he’s about the put in “one student per room” policies and “no sleep overs” rules. Yugi and Mokuba look at him in exasperation because these are teens. They would break that rule so fast.

Joey thinks this is hilarious.

After all the dark world nonsense calms down and Jaden is safe. Things calm down.

Yes season 4 still happens and Jaden isn’t okay. But after he handles Darkness he calls home and tells them everything. Including that he got to meet up with Jesse again. He talks more about Jesse than he does about his actual enemy/adventure.

Everyone knows the two of them are back on track.

Joey makes a joke about Jaden following Yugi and Seto’s footsteps and marrying young. “He might even beat you and get hitched right after high school.”

Seto breaks something. Yugi has to talk him down. Joey, Tristan, and Duke think it’s hilarious.

The real problem comes when Jaden starts traveling.

It’s nerve racking enough having there deeply traumatized baby traveling the world ‘alone.’ Yes he has Yubel fused to his soul, his duel spirits, a cat, and his professors soul. But he’s still physically alone. Seto and Yugi were both nervous about this. The whole DM cast was.

Then Jesse reaches out asking where Jaden is. Yugi is honest and tells him Jaden’s plan to travel the world and help people and spirits. (Jesse has to fall more in love, Jaden is living his dream) Yugi just thinks it’s a concerned friend/crush asking questions but Jesse surprises him by saying he’s going to meet up with Jaden and travel with him.

It takes a bit of time but Jesse does catch up with Jaden.

Yugi and the others are relieved that Jaden has a traveling companion. And they couldn’t ask for a better one than Jesse.

Seto is in hell. He hates this. His precious baby boy is traveling with the Scandinavian boy all around the world. There is no supervision, no adults.

He can’t even be mad because he didn’t want Jaden traveling alone. But did it have to be Jesse? He doesn’t even have a valid reason to not like the kid. He’s an incredible duelist. Has a strong deck. Is loyal to Jaden. Has proven he will sacrifice himself for Jaden’s safety. On paper the kid is perfect. Seto doesn’t like him.

Yugi is constantly telling him it’s okay.

Joey, Tristian, and Duke are menaces

They are constantly saying things to set Seto off because they think it’s funny. Teasing him about wedding bells. Maybe Jaden will decide he likes living in Europe better. Just anything to push his buttons.

Duke takes it to far one day. “How do you know they haven’t eloped without you knowing.”

Seto can take a lot of things. He knows that they are trying to set him off. But just the idea that Jaden could get married without them even there. Horrifying. (And Jaden is impulsive enough he might just do it. Not because he doesn’t want his family at the wedding. No that’s probably the only thought that would stop him. But just that he and Jesse might find a place that does marriage ceremonies and just think, we’re already here, might as well.) (note this does not happen this is Seto’s imagination running wild)

He calls Jaden immediately. It’s the middle of the night/early morning where he is. He tries to get to his phone but he’s so sleepy and it’s on the other side of the room. It’s Jesse who gets up and answers. At this point neither are sure whose phone it is and just want the noise to stop. He sleepily answers with “hello?”

Seto hears Jesse’s sleep filled voice answer the phone and almost breaks it. “Where are you!” It’s not a question it’s a demand.

Jesse is wide awake now. “Paris. Is something wrong.” He’s trying not to panic. He doesn’t want to wake Jaden up more than he already is and he knows how important Jaden’s family is to him.

Sent does break his phone as soon as he hears the word Paris. He looks at the clock. It’s 10 in Japan (they were having brunch) making it 3 in the morning in Paris. It’s a 13 hour flight. Assuming the two boys stay in Paris he can be there by 4 pm their time. He’s about to take off. When Yugi comes and gets him. (Seto left the table to make the call)

Yugi is standing there looking very unimpressed with his husband. “No Jess everything’s alright. Some of our friends were making jokes and Duke made one about the two of you. Nothing bad. It just freaked Seto out… no we’re okay… I appreciate that you’re willing to wake Jay up to talk to us but it’s fine. You two get some sleep. I’m sorry we disturbed you. Good night.” He hangs up looking at Seto with a dry look “No. we’re not going to Paris”

Meanwhile

Jesse woke up out of a dead sleep by a phone ringing. Answers it without looking expecting one of their friends with no idea where they are or no concept of time zones to be on the other end “hello?”

“Where are you!” His best friend (boyfriend? I Don’t know yet) Oto-san’s demanding voice is on the other end. (Imagine waking up from a dead sleep to Batman yelling at you same vibe)

He’s instantly awake. “Paris.” He hears a crunch sound “is everything okay?” The line starts ringing. It’s dead.

Jesse is in a panic. What if Jaden’s family is in danger? He can see Jaden in bed. He’s curled back up blissfully unaware of any of this.

Jesse rushes to call Yugi. If he doesn’t answer or tells him something is wrong he will wake up Jaden and they will handle it.

Yugi is blessedly calm in the face of Jesse’s stressed out panicked whispers. He explains what really happened (baring the joke being that the two teens eloped) Jesse offered to wake Jaden if his dads were worried about him. He knows how Jaden gets sometimes after a nightmare and all he wants is Jesse or his dads. (He knows how he feels after a nightmare and all he wants is to be surrounded by his deck spirits and Jaden.)

Yugi appreciates the offer but declines and tells Jesse to get some sleep.

He doesn’t know how he’s going to get back to sleep after that. But he climbs back into bed anyways. Jaden instantly rolls over and curls around him. Oh that’s how he’s going back to sleep. He thinks as he gets comfortable curling around Jaden as well.

Cody normally keeps to himself in his lab, and is not really used to having people besides EJ or Toby around. So when he gets assigned a lab partner, he got skeptical.

He couldn't understand if this was some wild scheme from the others to make him interact more, or if you were actually someone with enough knowledge to work with him, but he couldn't complain since it was orders from the proxies.

You were going to be Cody's lab partner due to your area of knowledge on biology being similar in level to his, and you were certainly excited to find someone with an interest similar than yours, from what you heard of him.

When you did come to the lab, and looked around the place, you were certainly excited with the amount of biology related stuff. It was all you ever wanted, and it made your love for the subject bubble out.

Cody met you right there, on the lab, and at first he was REALLY skeptical, because you looked decent.

'since when does a scientist looks decent? They will not understand at all what I'm doing'

But the moment you opened your mouth and started accurately guessing what each thing he had was, his eyes sparkled. No way...

"Oh my god, you have a guide to the human cardiovascular system! Do you use it often? I bet you do, look at the amount of stuff that needs an intravenous application..."

"Wait, you actually know what you're talking about?"

It didn't take long to Cody to open up about his current researches and projects, like his experiments with the xelymtopa virus, or how he was experimenting on the maximization of effects on cyanide based poisons.

You were excited and eager to know, even bringing your own hypothesis on what could happen depending on the person he experiments on, which he appreciates.

Soon enough you were one of Cody's closest friends (and maybe he had a bit of a crush on you too), and were together everywhere, freaking everyone out by your casual talks about deadly diseases and poisonous animals.

Cody, while doing his work on the infirmary with EJ, opened up about how he felt close to you in a deeper level than anything, but he couldn't put a finger on what exactly he felt. EJ advised him to be open with you besides the work talk.

i started writing a book, like — six years ago? it the time i did not have my plot fleshed out nearly enough which landed me in a massive writers block, and i ended up deciding it was time to start over. same universe. same (main) characters. same essential base plot. but this time i would take the time to flesh out my plot and my storyline and my characters. properly work it through before starting the writing process again. i never did. i’ve tried a couple of times and i have figured out bits and bops here and there. but never really got back into it. flash forward to last night, me in the car listening to this song and things just came rushing back.

ANYWAY. so this story is essentially an omegaverse, but since i’ve been plotting my way out of a lot of things, it somewhat removed from what omegaverses are often portrayed as. i use pheromones as a base for my magic system, and my two main characters, liam and kaizer, are a fated pair. but this is about as far as the omegaverse thing actually goes at this point.

set i an fantasy world obviously with magic, dragons and sword fight. liam is “omega”, but he owns it. he’s somewhat of a slut and i love him for that. since he was born, he’s always known that he was destined to put an end to the terror of a specific “alpha” that’s been looming like a dark shadow over the lands. he knows this bc people who release his kind of pheromones are rare. and the only thing than can seal away “the villain”’s magic, is sealing their pheromones. aka a “mating bond.” for which there needs to be an “omega”. so he know’s this is what he’s supposed to do. he’s a peace with it and for this reason he feels like he might as well fuck around bc he’ll never have the chance to be with someone anyway.

enter kaizer and his sister genesis. the three of them has known each other always. but not before liam’s pheromones starts releasing, (well into his twenties), does kaizer and liam realize that they are supposed to be a fated pair. albeit liam knows the part he’s supposed to play and he won’t let that go.

the three of them will then set out to achieve the goal of sealing “the villain”. and there may or may not be love in the air. there may or may not be fay and parties and drunk kaizer having sexual fantasies about liam.

there’s sacrifices. there’s swordplay. sparing. deep late night talks. feelings. long lost family members thought dead, resurfacing. all that jazz.

atp i have the prologue in my head ready for writing. and the real opening scene of chapter one. meeting liam as he tiptoes from a room with two naked sleeping bodies tangled in the sheets after a wild night, casually strolling to the training grounds to spar with genesis. and i am going to write today. i will write these two scenes because i am so excited to finally play with my guys again. and then i will finally rework the plot from there.

i originally started the story when they set out on their quest. this time, i’m gonna move it back. give them the chance to evolve. give liam’s magic a chance to manifest. to be out of control and to be tamed in time.

and then, when i’m all done, i have a whole book two in my head as well. of different worlds, fearie kings and fight for said family that was believed long lost. i’m excited. it’s wonderful. and i really hope i can keep at it this time!

To answer your question... here's the thing, the ACTUAL n.1 favorite thing about the pallid flame is a huuuuge spoiler but I'll throw some bits of info that can get you a little close.

I didn't include it in the doc as to not cause confusion to the reader, but there are some hints about a certain level of sentience of the flame itself. Like, the fact that it activates the moment it feels its host is in danger: it does it through the five senses, but how does the flame decide if something is a threat or not?

That depends on the skill level of the host. As a result, that means the flame is somehow able to judge whether the threat is something worth its activation, or in other words, if the threat level surpasses the host's level of combat skills.

So the flame can judge outside stimuli and put them in perspective with its host's capabilities. Can it do anything else on its own? Well, the Failsafe System is a thing. The Flame takes over the nervous system and gives the body a directive to follow: save yourself at all costs. It does as soon as consciousness leaves the mind. Is it a natural reaction to the body being in danger, or something more intentional? After all, it can't survive without its host.

It's not a Dying Will. It's an order.

All of this will be explained in the story, if you have the patience to wait for it to be revealed 😖 other than that, I agree with you on the fact that the Pallid Flame being related to the body more than the mind (as it's the case for the Dying Will flame). The way it flows inside the user to make themselves a weapon instead of being a weapon! This is no way a diss to canon - I love canon to bits, and I like to adhere to it as much as possible.

Tackling the second question, it's called Notion and it's free! It's a very customizable app that you can use for a great number of things, from organising your writing to taking notes to planning blog posts. You can use it through multiple platforms, both pc and on android, and your content is always accessible since it's saved in your accounts database.

Specifically, for both my character sheet and my info sheet I use a template called Atlas that you can download from Notion's site. There are lots of useful free templates to browse from, but I found Atlas to be the perfect mix between easy to use and nice-looking.

Athena hated interrupting birthday parties but, really, noise complaints were probably some of the easiest calls she ever got called out to. The park was close enough to where she had been grabbing lunch, anyway, and she had a feeling it would be a simple call - she would, at the most, have to tell the party goers to quiet down or apologetically ask them to move along if they didn’t have a permit. Usually, noise complaints were called in because someone wanted to be heard, and Athena was good at convincing people that she was listening even when she wasn’t. 

She slowly eased herself out of the vehicle, quickly taking note of the children running around the playground.

She snorted - of course someone couldn’t just walk over to the adults at the party and ask them to turn down the music (which wasn’t even that loud. The woman who had called in - Georgia, Athena thought her name was from the call logs - swallowed and glared at her feet. “Do you have a first name, Mister Diaz?”

Behind him, Athena saw Buckley take notice of her, squinting his blue eyes in her direction before jogging down the hill himself. He stopped behind Diaz, “Not at all.” She squared her shoulders. “Firefighter Buckley.” She nodded in his direction. Diaz jumped and then immediately relaxed at Buck’s hand on the back of his neck. 

“Athena.” Buck stopped a moment away from stepping in front of Diaz, his frown the same protective one he had given her back when they had first met and they had argued about a baby in a pipe. “What… what’s going on?” 

“Mister Diaz here was just going to get his permit for this little party here -.” 

“The problem,” Georgia said in a huff. “Is that your party is too loud.” 

Athena would have told her to be quiet herself, but Buckley beat her to it, his eyes flashing the same angry color they had not too long ago in Athena’s direction. “So you called the cops on a kid’s birthday party?” 

“This is a public space.” 

“It’s a birthday party.” 

“Buck.” Athena cautioned. 

“Evan.” Diaz hissed (interesting, Athena had suspected that his name wasn’t Buck Buckley but she hadn’t known that it was something as simple as Evan) and Buck withdrew, settling with his arms crossed over his chest and a glower on his face, much quicker than Athena had ever even seen him do with Bobby. “Just… I’ll be right back, officer.” She nodded and watched him go and Buck… Buck frowned down at his shoes like he hated being put on the sidelines (she knew that he did). They were silent until Diaz came back and handed her the paper. 

Athena barely skimmed it. “It all seems legit to me, Mister Diaz.” She straightened her shoulders and handed the paper back over to him. “Maybe just keep it down, you are in a public park.”

a moomin fanart i did when the 3rd season of moominvalley 2019 was airing! ngl i hated this one when i was done with it and couldn't even look at it for a while lol. but eventually i figured i was too hard on it and now i really like how i did the bg texturing and colors

some okami fanart from 2021! i like how i did the composition and i'd totally make a print for myself if i knew how lol

some souyo fanart i made last november 😀😀 imo it's not the most interesting comp (and w/o knowing the context of the scene it's hard to tell what it's even about lol) but i like the palette i chose and how i rendered it. was a one hit wonder for me tho i can't figure out how to replicate the style 😭

ik i post almost exclusively fanart atm but man i'd love to make a comic or smth with my ocs 🥲 or just make more comics about the stuff i like in general but i'm not too good with long projects... also i have a pipe dream of making a videogame but in consideration of my lazy ass ain't no way thats gonna happen so i just fantasize about it now and then FNJDHFJSDH

This one was so so much fun like you wouldn’t believe it I love it sm

1. It was kinda hard picking cause all the houses look so pretty but the last one looks kinda pink also it looks like it has tons of rooms to read and snuggle in which is perfect for christmas and just general meb activities

2. I’m actually allergic to raw bananas so I’d swap them out for something else like mango. During Christmas my breakfast looks a lot like that, pancakes, muffins, tea, fruits, sausages, eggs. Best time ever

3. I’m actually into very “spooky” vibe kinda settings. Like if you watched the chilling tales of Sabrina? Or halloweentown but darker. Those vibes with the spooky music and the slighlty witchy off vibe are just so chefs kiss to me. I’d probably be super stressed if I lived there irl but oh my gosh I can look at the aesthetic. Anyways the last two were very much giving magical bath where I read my book but I’m very clumsy and I will drop it in so option two is better cause I have somewhere to put my book, also, CANDLES🕯️

4. The boots and jacket I chose are so cute I wish I actually had them. If it’s cold enough, I’d probably layer a hoodie under the jacket for extra warmth. Probably a white one

5. The earmuffs!?? I want them so bad now! They’re so pretty. Also the heart brown scarf is the one I’d probably buy but for the sake of the outfit, gotta go with the white scarf which I also think looks super cute/chic

6. Although I’d love to go ice skating, I’d probably fall soooo many times and not get to skate very much. Plus building a snow,an would be so fun. I’ve never seen snow before so we’d have so much fun customizing it

7. I am suuuuch a baker during Christmas. All out. Cake, cookies, muffins, tart, etc. so I couldn’t pick just one option. I have a butter biscuit recipe which I only use exclusively on Christmas and gosh they’re so good

8. I’ve actually only watched frozen 2 and the home alone movies from this list. And now I barely even remember the home alone movies just vague parts so really it’s just frozen. But polar express has been on my watch list for a while now so either that or how the grinch stole Christmas (which I half watched half asleep when I was like 8)
