TRINITY, BAILEY, Y/N AND JACK HAD JUST FINISHED SHOOTING A SCENE. They decided to hang out in Jack’s trailer and play Fifa on his ps5.

Y/N FINISHED THE LAST SCENE OF THE DAY AND WENT TO HER TRAILER TO TAKE A LONG-AWAITED NAP. She could’ve easily gone home, but as every friday, she waited for Jack so they could go together to her house and have their weekly movie marathon. It was a little activity they have been doing together for the past months.

Almost an hour later, Jack entered her trailer and his heart melted at the sight. No matter how many times he found her napping, the reaction would be the same. She had her own arms around herself, probably from the cold; her lips were partially open and her face was adorned with a cute frown, she probably was having a dream.

He carefully walked towards her frame and kneeled beside the small couch she was sleeping on. He pulled the fallen hair out of her face, and shook her softly as he called her name in a delicate way. She fluttered her eyes open and scrunched her nose, the light from the outside bothering her. Jack put a hand over her eyes until she grew accustomed to the light.

“Hey, gorgeous. I’m done for today, wanna go to your house?” he asked with a smile. How could someone be so pretty? he asked to himself.

She nodded as she stood up “Can we buy sushi? I’ve been dying to eat all week”.

When they finally arrived to her house, the discussion on what to watch next began. Y/N wanted to watch a rom-com, while Jack was in the mood for a good horror movie.

“Y/N/N that movie sucks” Jack said, completely against the idea of watching Valentine’s Day.

“How dare you?” she asked offended.

“It’s the truth and you know it. You just forced yourself to like it because Taylor Swift is in there” Jack pointed out.

He had an valid point. The movie was boring and weird, but Taylor Swift made it worth it. “I don’t want to watch Final Destination, it’s traumatising”.

“Not more than fucking Valentine’s Day” he laughed as she elbowed him in the stomach “Ouch, sorry”.

“Let’s just bring new options. What about Lemonade Mouth?” she suggested.

“I’m certainly not complaining, love” he assured her. Y/N tried not to smile as she looked the movie up. It was her favorite nickname and he knew it, he loved seen her reaction everytime he called her that.

He didn’t pay attention to the movie at all. Not that it was bad, but the girl next to him was much interesting. He had a foolish smile on his face, watching with heart eyes as she sang the ABBA songs with passion. He wondered if anything was going to change the next day—the awaited kiss between their characters. He sure hoped so, because holding back from her was getting more and more excruciating each day.

THE BIG DAY FINALLY ARRIVED AND THE EXCITEMENT WAS NOTICEABLE ON THE SET. It was the scene everyone had been waiting for—especially the two people involved in it.

“Stop” Y/N groaned as the girls gushed about the scene “it’s not a big deal”.

“Is that why you have been fixing your hair for the last ten minutes and applying the cherry chapstick Jack loves?” Bailey teased her.

Y/C/N was sitting on the edge of her bed, looking at the ceiling as if it were the most interesting thing, when she felt a presence next to her. Diverting her eyes from the grey roof, she found Jack’s—or Spider’s—brown eyes.

“What are you doing all alone?” he asked sitting next to her, his bare tight brushing against hers. Y/N’s breath hitched—well, it was on the script, but she wasn’t really acting that reaction—as she turned into a nervous wreck.

“I don’t know how you did all of this alone” she said softly. It hadn’t been that long since she appeared on Pandora.

She was still mortified, and Jack noticed it, so he made the first step. “I like you, Y/N/N. And I don’t mean it as a friend. Hi! I’m sorry I’m gonna write to you a fucking essay on lumax, because I’m going insane.

I’m sooo tired by fic writers making lumax seem less serious and like make Max not like Lucas and them ending up friends even when it’s not el/max. Like. They are not on and off, they are being goofy.

I mean, in order to be together, they had to make very serious decisions. Lucas had to go against the party again, and for a girl (directly contradicting his season 1 arc), and stand up for his beliefs. Even when last time he did it he was so wrong. And he chose Max again and again, even after understanding who Billie is. Him standing up to the party and being loyal to someone even though it directly contradicts the lessons he learnt in season 1 works so so well for his character.

And Max, being an abused, fatherless girl, from a racist household with two violent men who are not blood relatives, separating from her family and choosing Lucas and freedom, it’s such a heavy decision that most adult women in her situation are incapable of making! And she did it!

They work so well together, and I believe that they are really, probably are going to be together for life (Lucas asking his dad about his relationship with his mom shows that he is very serious about it from the very beginning). In season two they are so obviously making choices that are life altering! And then!! In season three!!!! They are just goofy ass teenagers. Like I honestly expected them being all star crossed, AND NO! They are fucking around!

Like I’ve seen sooo many fics where Lucas and Max are called “on-and-off again” and being compared to mileven or byler who are presented as romantic and true and I have to scream!

They are not “on again off again”! They are two middle schoolers!!! They are playing house!!! They are being over dramatic!!! It’s about Max saying to at least someone “I can just stand up and leave”, it’s about Lucas being loyal and replying to her “you can be as mean as you want and I will find it funny and challenging, I will never act threatened by your strength”!!! It’s a game where Max always comes back! That’s just them playing out scenarios and testing boundaries, they are not on and off!

• It does depends on what kind of person you are, but in general, being close with Kaneda is a really fucking fun experience. Most of the time, at least.

• He can be kind of clingy. Kaneda hates being alone more than anything, and you’re one of his favorite people to bother, so expect him to be around a lot! He’s constantly trying to convince you to do stupid shit with him, like get high, go to some random traphouse party, go spray paint obscenities behind the school or play somewhat mean spirited pranks on your other mutual friends.

• If you’re willing to go along with his bullshit, you do end up having a great time each and every time. He loves you because of how you match his chaotic energy. You guys definitely almost get arrested at least once or twice a week. Everyone kind of knows that whenever they see the two of you together you’re most definitely plotting to do something stupid.

• However, if you’re not really the crazy type, he’ll definitely still try to get you to do things like that with him, and you might get roped into it anyhow. Don’t tell anyone, but he really appreciates how level-headed you are compared to him. You balance him out and keep him in check. In return, he’ll attempt to indulge in your kind of activities which are probably way more chill than his own.

• Hanging out at fast food places past midnight is like a daily occurrence. I feel like he makes you pay for him every time, and he always promises to pay you back but literally never does. He’s the reason you have no fucking money.

• I feel like he always has some tea on people? Kaneda is pretty social and somewhat popular due to the Capsules, so he knows a lot of people. He’s always telling you about who got arrested last week, and who cheated on who. You always tell him he’s not one to talk and he always tries to punch you. It’s really funny.

• If you’re a part of the Capsules, he absolutely loves racing you. You two always make bets like ’whoever gets there last has to buy the winner lunch’ and stuff like that. He’ll beg you all the time, but he gets really grumpy whenever he loses so you probably end up buying him lunch anyway LMAO.

• If you’re not a part of the Capsules, he always wants to take you on little joy-rides. I think he would even try to teach you how to ride a motorcycle for the fun of it (if you don’t already know how to do it).

• He’s very ride-or-die with you, I think. A very good friend to have when you’re in some shit because he’ll always defend you even if you were 100% in the wrong.

Tetsuo

• He’s not a bad friend to have at all, I think. Again, it may depend on what type of person you are but in general being close with Tetsuo is less of a rollercoaster than being close with Kaneda is.

• He’s a very good listener and he appreciates someone who will listen to him in return. He likes someone who won’t judge him, or make fun of him for feeling a certain way and if you don’t, he’ll offer you the same thing back. You can tell him anything. He’s very loyal if that loyalty is returned to him.

• He’s pretty introverted, so he likes hanging out with you at home a lot, like watching movies or playing video games. Never let him choose the movie that you’re gonna watch, because he always chooses the most out of pocket, disturbing shit out there and doesn’t tell you just so that he can see your reaction. He thinks it’s really funny.

• He’s a hater at heart, and therefore the best person to talk shit with. Will hate on literally everyone with you. You thought Kaneda liked to gossip? Tetsuo is a hundred times worse.

• His friendship with you gives very much ’I hate everyone but you’ trope energy.

• Again, very supportive of you, even though he’s kind of awkward when it comes to expressing it. Also very defensive, and if anyone talks badly about you in his presence he’ll go to war. Expects you to do the same.

• He can be kind of high maintenance as a close friend. He gets jealous pretty easily, and gets into his own head whenever he sees you hanging out with anyone else and having a good time. He can be kind of rude and snappy whenever he’s in this kind of mood, but if you know him well enough you understand that he doesn’t mean it. Just make some plans with him to watch his favorite movie or show tomorrow night and he should be all good.

• If you’re interested in motorcycles, he would like it if you helped him whenever he has to fix up his bike. Or just sat next to him while he’s doing it for company.

Multiple KH Characters and Their Favorite Video Games!

Destiny Island Trio: 

Sora: Fighting games- preferably Smash. He mains himself main characters (Mario, Link, Kirby, FE protags). He sucks. He is the guy who button mashes and corners players to beat the hell out of them. 

Riku: Fighting games- preferably Tekken or Street Fighter. Mains Jin or Lee. Attempts to be strategic but gets way too competitive fast and is busy mashing all the buttons off the controller. 

Kairi: Way too good at fighting games. But she’d probably play lots of Pokemon or monster collecting games. She has many setups that are both competitive or just fun ones for a fun challenge. 

Sea Salt Family: 

Roxas: Persona fanboy. He hasn’t played 1-2 but he can’t pick a favorite between 3-5. Plays all the spinoffs or has someone else play them for him. His favorite characters are the protagonists. Hears jazz music and assumes this is a Persona 5 reference. 

Xion: Resident DMC and Souls-like player. Girl is a monster on the controllers despite being just being born. The way she can effortlessly combo and dodge all attacks makes her a fearsome opponent. 

Axel: Mario Kart. Axel is pretty average at video games (unless they’re like, retro or arcade) but Mario Kart? He’s on it like Donkey Kong. He mains Funky Kong. 

Saix: He has two wolves inside him- the logical gamer and the second, more absurd gamer. Sometimes he wants to unwind, so he might pick up a basic platformer like Mario or Sonic, but on the other side- he’s a menace in a Warriors game. He’s hacking and slashing. He’s killing everyone in his path. Also, he’s a completionist.  He has to get the best markings and everything. Won’t settle for less. 

Wayfinder Trio: 

Terra: Minecraft and fighting games. He tries his best lmao. He’s just got pretty big hands so often he messes up with combos but he’s also pretty impatient and tends to spam certain moves.

Aqua: Rhythm games definitely. Watch her effortlessly get all perfect scores in one try. Even the hardest OSU! map has nothing on Aqua. She also kicks ass at fighting games. 

Ventus: He likes Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario Party. He always loses at almost any game against his friends though. 

Bonus Characters: 

Namine: I feel like she enjoys visual novels and Okami. She really loves aesthetic games and is a patient player. 

Xemnas: does not play video games beyond Candy Crush or Solitaire. You kids and your “Splatoons” or “Bayonettas”, go pick up an old Final Fantasy game smh. 

Xigbar: Call of Duty. Fortnite. PUBG. Overwatch. He’s a menace and plays all sorts of FPS games. His sniping abilities IRL translate very well into games. Also likes the Hitman games. 

Vexen: Bookworm and civilization manager games. He’s big on Age of Empires and is a top talent within the community. He loves playing as the Vikings or Mayans for competitive play. He’s also made many custom maps. 

Zexion: Tower Defense managers and Ace Attorney. He loves deducing the crime or finding the best way to defend his base with the minimum amount of units possible. 

Xaldin: He doesn’t play games (lie). He plays romantic visual novels. Plays all kinds of them. Otomes too. He is a lonely man. Also loves cooking games. 

Lexaeus: farming games. He just has a fun time playing Story of Seasons. Rune Factory is nice too but he prefers SoS because he loves the farming aspect more. 

Demyx: Guitar Hero. No argument. This man did all the crazy achievements and was going at it for days.

Luxord: Yeah yeah solitaire and gambling- have you considered he loves playing the Yakuza games? Well now you do. He loves the games dearly and cherishes them and likes to be the biggest Yakuza on the block. Also yeah, he plays lot of gacha games. 

Marluxia: Doesn’t really play video games, but he’d most likely play some horror games with Larxene or town management games. 

Larxene: Horror games or multiplayer games where she can troll people. Banned from multiple servers and people refuse to play with her minus Marluxia. Aesthetically though she loves Trish from DMC and thinks Vergil is number one.

let me preface this by saying that I absolutely do not think it was okay of him to take the photos. I do not condone it, okay? everyone remember that very important part.

I always see people reduce jonathan to being a pervert because of the photos, when I truly think he’s the furthest thing from a perv. firstly, I wanna bring up his artistic perspective for taking the photos. we see him talk to nancy about how photos can tell stories, right? I truly believe that above anything else, he saw an opportunity to tell a story through photographs. we know that jonathan is a little… socially awkward. especially in season one. photography, for him, is I think extremely therapeutic. it’s his way of being able to tell stories. when he starts taking the pictures, no one’s naked or anything. they’re just in the pool. it still doesn’t make it okay to be spying on them like that, but he didn’t know nancy was gonna go up to steve’s room and then undress….

I think he got carried away, and couldn’t stop himself once things got a little more… private. he later tells nancy that he feels like she’s trying to be someone else with steve, and so I think he saw this insanely interesting situation playing out in front of him and his curiosity got the best of him.

I’m not saying that there were zero creepy intentions behind the photos, he clearly thinks nancy is pretty because… well, they end up together, lol. but I truly believe, based on what we know about jonathan, that he mostly saw this as an artistic venture. he’s a stupid kid, who sees an interesting scenario going down, and he captures it on his camera without thinking about repercussions. as someone with an artistic background myself… I get the artistic vision. I understand where he’s coming from when he talks about photos saying things that people themselves don’t say. I understand that desire to get an interesting shot.

secondly, jonathan apologizes and expresses remorse over the photos. a legitimate pervert wouldn’t fucking care, wouldn’t apologize and wouldn’t stop. he clearly feels bad and he knows it was wrong. idk about y’all, but even watching the scene where he’s actively taking the photos, I always got the vibe from the look on his face that he knows it’s probably a sketchy thing to do. once again, he’s a dumb kid who’s very much awkward and lonely, and he’s not thinking about what comes after he takes them.

jonathan, may I remind everyone, literally does nothing else creepy throughout the entire rest of the show.

this is the guy who stays the night with nancy to help her feel safe after she sees the demogorgon for the first time, and won’t even get under the covers when she asks him to sleep in her bed because he doesn’t want to violate her space. like, we all watched the same scene right? he lays like a mile away from her LMAO.

this is the guy who takes nancy home from the halloween party, because he sees that steve leaves her alone and that she’s incredibly intoxicated and vulnerable. he gets her home safe, tucks her into bed and takes off her shoes and doesn’t so much as lay a hand on her in any way other than to assist her in the house/into bed. if he was a pervert, let me just say, this would’ve been the ideal time to take advantage of her. she’s wasted. but he doesn’t. he just wants her to get home safe. he has no idea what went down with her and steve and he just wants her to be safe.

I just feel like they do so much to make you see more to jonathan than just “the creepy photo guy”, and it’s just wasted on a lot of people. he’s a great brother, a caring friend, the good guy who tries to do the right thing for the people he cares about… and he’s just reduced down to being this awful person unfairly. over one thing. nancy literally forgives him. once again, not saying any of this makes the photos okay! it was a shit decision, and he deserved to get called out for it. but I think ultimately he’s incredibly misunderstood, and he’s more complex than just this one mistake he made.

Pride Month Watch: A Shoulder to Cry On

I'm currently going through my Pride Month Watch List.

This time, I'm diving into A Shoulder to Cry On. I've heard some mixed reviews about this, but that doesn't affect me because I would rather make up my own mind. So, let's dive into it!

Random thought: I've always wanted to try archery.

I'm almost 10 minutes into the first episode. What the hell am I watching, lol? Why are these two dudes screwing the archery dude over (it's too early for me to remember any names, lol)?

So, the archery dude's name is Dayeol and the other main character is Taehyun.

I'm guessing this is another enemies-to-lovers story...

Oh, lord, look at this bitch (don't know his name yet, but he's Taehyun's friend) calling Dayeol passive-aggressive. Let's not forget this bitch lied to their teacher, telling him Dayeol attacked Taehyun, and flipped Dayeol the finger... They better not make me like this bitch. I want to dislike at least someone, lmao!

And now they're messing with his arrows? How did Taehyun become class president? By threats? Bribes? It's only been 20 minutes of this series, and I'm annoyed, lol!

Did Taehyun just say that when he sees something cute, he wants to push it into a corner and hit it with a toy hammer? Did he just admit to being a sadist? Interesting.

I've just started the 2nd episode, and damn, Taehyun's aunt... And what she yelled at him...

No wonder he's such a brazen, arrogant ass. He's putting up a facade. That kid has clearly been through something traumatic and is blamed for it (and probably blaming himself even more). It doesn't give him the right to be a jerk or excuse his behavior. But it explains his facade.

And what does it mean that he killed someone? I’m sure he didn’t do it on purpose. Usually, in shows like this, it was some sort of accident. It was likely unintentional, which means it wasn’t his fault. Let's see...

Dayeol hitting Taehyun when he demonstrated the Heimlich Maneuver on Dayeol made me laugh out loud.

I’m on episode 4 and that flashback was rough. Basically, the reason Taehyun’s aunt lashed out at him like that was because she felt guilty for the part she played in her sister’s accident and death. After all this time, she’s still blaming Taehyun even though she had a part in it too (the slap that made him run away).

I’m in the middle of episode 5 and Dayeol and Taehyun are basically friends now.

I’m in the middle of the 6th episode and Taehyun rejected Dayeol after Dayeol, kind of, confessed that he likes Taehyun. Then Taehyun regretted his rejection but Dayeol left anyway… There’s something about this that’s not hitting the mark for me.

Time skip (something I tend not to like). It’s now 2 years later…

I love that Soyeong (the girl in the friend group) said something like: ”I won’t be the fool that separates the two of you”. Too bad that’s my favorite part of this series, though, when the boys, what’s going on between them, and their relationship should be.

Wait, there’s another time skip of 2 years? Why are you doing this to me?

I might not connect very well with this series, but they get a bonus point for being by the ocean.

And, now that I've finished it, I feel… lukewarm. Perhaps it's because I’m just not that invested in school dramas anymore (even though I can watch some of them if the acting is great, the visuals are hitting the right spots in my artist's heart, and the characters and/or story make me realize something new about myself). Perhaps it’s because it just didn’t hit the right marks for me. Perhaps it’s because I watched it right after Light On Me (which was good) that I didn’t get into this one (even though that's usually not a problem for me). I don’t know…

Sasha’s already had to be in too many rooms this year. Five in ten games, and two to start the season at that. It isn’t the kind of tally he wants to be keeping. [it's always interesting to write a fic set early in a season then see how everyone is doing now haha like, oh they're fine] Technically an A could stand in for him, take his place, but Aaron is out, and Matthew—

Sasha can do it. Matthew does so much for them on the ice. Sasha can watch out for the boys in here. He won’t lay this at Matthew’s feet. [something that i did not have space to fully unpack but loved to hint at was like, in this premise where someone has to observe the winner's room, sasha has been doing this by himself for basically a whole season? i think initially it's like, you know, aaron was out for a while, hornquist was out for the year relatively fast, and it would take a while to trust the new guy with This (even if like. they were kind of in love from the start lmao). so sasha's seen a lot of weird handjobs and blowjobs! it would wear on a person! and also, even now that he does trust matthew, he still doesn't want to put this on matthew, for reasons of the heart :)]

Five times in ten games, and this is the first time that Matthew’s been tapped this season. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes guys have arrangements; sometimes they pick based on who played the best on a losing team; sometimes it’s spite. [one of the fun things about writing a winner's room fic for a same-team-pairing is thinking of all the reasons people who have played the concept a little more straight have thrown guys together] This time—who knows. Seems unlikely it’ll be a grudge. Wrong conference, and everyone kicked Chicago’s ass last year. [rip chicago! sucks to suck!]

Sasha forgot how it felt, though, being in here with Matthew. The way Matthew rubs his hands together as he scans the room, getting out that last bit of energy. [fidgety boy!] The way he goes to sit on the bed pushed up against the wall, rather than stand around in the middle of the room. How his knee bounces as he waits. [this whole fic is obviously themed around observation and what people see versus are not yet ready to see, but i really like this part as a like -- sasha already knows what matthew is like in here. they've had a year of experience, they're really familiar, it's a kind of comfort in a very uncomfortable situation]

For his part, Sasha takes up his habitual spot on the opposite side of the room, where he can lean against the cold, white cinder block wall and have as much of a view as he needs. [again, reinforcing sasha's discomfort and his responsibility to watch through the environment! or at least that's what i was aiming for haha]

Meghan nods at them both, then closes the door.

They wait for a minute, two. Sasha spends those minutes looking around the room, not that he needs to. All winner’s rooms look the same. Same walls, same mats for floors. A bed, a sink and mirror, a small cabinet with CBA-mandated condoms and lube, in case anyone wants to push the time limit and get more creative than a hand or a mouth. A digital clock above the door. [in my beloved pal maggie hopetorun's great great matthew/leon winner's room fic she did an incredible job of describing the physical spaces of the rooms and what would have to be in there; i was probably subliminally influenced by her here lol. but i thought a lot about having a contract mandate how many unexpired condoms you gotta keep on hand.]

There’s never a chair for the captain. Sasha can watch, but he can’t get comfortable. After all, he lost, too. [this just feels like the kind of petty thing this league would do asdkfl]

Now it’s been more than five minutes; getting closer to ten. Longer than usual. Matthew jiggles his knee; folds his hands in his lap; unfolds them and drops them to grab at the cheap, thin sheets that cover a cheap, thin mattress. [again: fidgety boy! but also i just like the repetition of "cheap, thin" here] The bed makes crinkling plastic sounds as Matthew shifts; the mattress protector is cheap, too. The only thing not making noise is Matthew’s mouth. Matthew talks a lot, but it’s different when they’re in here. No point in rehashing the game, no point in strategizing about what they’ll do when they play Columbus, no point in cracking jokes or making easy conversation. [one of the interesting points of like, winner's room fic generally and matthew characterization specifically is like, how would you feel during the anticipatory moments, you know? and it's like (a) matthew doesn't want to talk before the weird sex ritual but also (b) he's comfortable enough with sasha that he doesn't have to chatter away his mild nerves (i'd imagine that you'd never really get over having to do the weird sex ritual no matter how long you've been doing it, if im honest!)]

No point in Sasha saying anything, either. Matthew doesn’t need any reassurances, and Sasha doesn’t know if he would want them. [i mean, he doesn't need them, but he would probably appreciate them coming from you, my guy!]

At eight minutes of waiting, Matthew shifts again. The noise draws Sasha’s eye, and he finds himself making eye contact. Watching as Matthew swallows; as his mouth opens, like he’s going to say something. [i like this moment to serve as reinforcement: matthew fidgeting, sasha watching him, and then the way it functions as a mirror to the eye contact at the end of this particular sex scene -- here, the glance is more like, casually observational and not so fraught, whereas by the end of the scene it packs an emotional punch] [related, but one of the things im proudest of with this fic is like, having such a charged moment (sexually, emotionally) where the two people who are into each other aren't touching each other -- and the vibe is different than, say, a "make someone jealous" premise where presumably the other party is into it, you know? anyway, that was just a really fun thing to play with!]

There’s the noise of someone else punching in the code, of the door swinging open. But Sasha isn’t watching the door, even though he should. [writing sasha for the first time was a little intimidating. i think i landed on a lot of like, sasha having an idea of what he should do (as a captain, leader, friend, guy meant to keep matthew safe in a weird situation, etc.) and the ways in which matthew makes it hard for him to stick to the known contours of his life] Sasha’s watching Matthew, and—

He’s never been sure how to describe it, the change in Matthew’s face. It’s like Matthew slides into someone else, putting on an expression that’s been kept in a box, only to be worn in the room. [i looooove this lil beat. matthew tkachuk man of many faces! one of my most consistent characterization notes for him, because i find it really really fascinating how he plays with image and posturing! especially in the weird sex ritual context. and, of course, sasha noticing all of those different faces, because sasha watches matthew all of the time :)]

I think it's terrifying how sane Nikolai actually is, he plays the clown but he KNOWS exactly what he wants and how to play the character. Anyway! Do you think Nikolai and Fyodor would ever agree on sharing a reader? They have such an interesting dynamic with each other.

ah!!! a very interesting question!!! i want to say no—not completely, anyway. i always see fyodor as ultimately in charge when it comes to their dynamic, despite nikolai’s own dominance and intellect. i think they’re both insanely selfish, and i definitely think that they could possibly lend out a reader to one another, or play with a reader together, but i don’t see them being able to fully share a reader in a relationship split equally right down the middle. one of them would need to ultimately be in charge/in control. i can see fyodor allowing nikolai to fuck around with his reader (as long as he has asked for explicit permission first, of course) and i can see nikolai offering his reader to fyodor or instantly agreeing to fyodor getting to fuck around with his reader if fyodor asked for it, but i can’t see them entering into a relationship with a reader where they are both equally The Boss (for lack of a better term lmao).

i actually think nikolai, if he truly and genuinely fell in love with someone, would become a bit of a yandere. i think having something that now matters very much to him—something that is, essentially, a ball and chain latched around his ankle, something that keeps him from being truly free, something that could be wielded as a weapon to hurt him or control him—would make him extremely protective and possessive over them, extremely neurotic and emotional over anything that remotely has to do with them. now he must guard them with his life, because he won’t be able to handle losing them (in any capacity).

i also think he’d probably resent his darling a little because of all of this—the stress and the restrictions and the utter commitment the relationship is (ie now he HAS to watch over them, now he HAS to make sure they’re safe all the time or he suffers extreme anxiety and can’t focus or function, etc) and how he’s essentially become a slave to it.

he trust fyodor, mostly; he trusts fyodor as much as he is capable of trusting anyone, anyway. he knows fyodor will take care of nikki’s precious lil baby and that there’s no hope of said precious baby getting hurt or taken away from him when they’re in fyodor’s care. they’re safe (and ‘safe’ means many things to nikolai, including trapped) when they’re with fyodor—they’re as safe as they possibly could be when not under nikolai’s direct supervision. as such, he’s alright with lending them out to his boss when asked, and sometimes even gets giddy at the prospect of watching or being involved. (i alsoooo kiiiinda have a headcanon that nikolai likes being praised by fyodor and pleasing him so he’s never going to deny his bestest friend whatever he’s requesting).

the boys are just really protective of someone as young as you. it’s your first time / you’re new to the music industry so they want to make sure it’s a positive experience and not unhealthy / scary / toxic place!
