I love hypmic so much but I hope it ends someday. They can keep making products, I hope they do, I would love to see new illustrations as long as they can afford to release them. But I hope that the story ends at some point, and they don't let it unceremoniously fizzle out like so many music projects because they kept trying to do more and more as the fanbase dwindled

i think the people running hypmic are very aware and know what they want with the franchise lmao. like hypmic’s still ridiculously popular in jp and bc they know that, they’re doing as much as they can with that notoriety while maintaining the vision of the story they want to tell

they clearly have an end in mind!!!! and they’ve been slowly building towards it with a clear focus imo, so i don’t think this is one of those franchises that’ll do so much to attract new people in hopes they can return to its heyday lol
