“Officer Handsome” (or how Levi got a speeding ticket and was grateful for it)
@nika-kujou: Sometimes I need very little encouragement to write stuff lmao
I finally felt confident enough to write my first Eruri fic. Enjoy!~
AO3 link
Levi cursed under his breath when a tall cop stepped onto the road and waved a stop disk at him. Looking in the direction of where the cop had come from, Levi noticed a police car as well. The only reason why he hadn’t seen it earlier was because it was obscured by a few humongous bushes. Fuck cunning cops. What an ambush!
Levi pulled over, feeling the vibrations of his bike die down when he turned the engine off. He pulled off his helm before the cop approached him. Nothing good would come out from being “disrespectful” to the officer by keeping his helm on or not removing it fast enough or whatever other bullshit may come to the cop’s mind. It’s not like it hadn’t happened before. The fact that the cops themselves were disrespectful by keeping their shades on while talking to the drivers seemed to not matter, however.
And this cop wouldn’t be different. Levi was sure of it. Except he turned out to be very, very wrong. As soon as the officer neared Levi, he reached for his shades and took them off, tucking them in his breast pocket. And Levi was rooted in his seat. The cop’s face seemed attractive enough with the shades on - great bone structure, soft looking lips, clean shaven. His sunny blond hair was nicely styled in a formal way. But once the shades had come off, Levi could see his eyes. The eyes! So incredibly blue and intense. Levi felt like the sky has been compressed into this man’s eyes and that if he stared long and hard enough he would eventually see a flock of birds flying.
Levi completely missed the officer’s introduction and whatever else he had said. He already knew he had been pulled over for speeding and was, sadly, painfully familiar with he procedure that followed. The cop was already looking at him expectantly and Levi decided not to press his luck further by being “uncooperative”. He pulled out his documents and handed them to the officer.
“I’m afraid I’ll have to write you a ticket, Mr. Ackerman. You were going way over the speed limit.”
It didn’t come as a surprise to Levi, who barely even heard the man, being too preoccupied with staring at his mouth. God, his lips were so perfect and his teeth were impossibly straight and white. It was absolutely ridiculous. Nobody looked that perfect in real life. It was very likely that the man had a great body as well, hidden under the uniform. His pecs and abs could probably give Chris Evans a run for his money. Or so Levi was imagining. He could also bet that the cop had a huge dick. He just knew it. Nested in curls of sunset blond ha-
His documents and a speeding ticket were handed to him and snapped Levi out of his trance. He cursed again, careful to keep it strictly in his head. He took his documents and the ticket from the cop’s hand and cursed again. Even the man’s hands were perfect. Levi‘s mind was too busy with inappropriate thoughts. His body and mouth were on autopilot and that is how he ended up saying what he never thought he’d say to a cop, especially in this situation.
“Thank you.”
His mind caught up with his mouth and his eyes widened in horror. He was a person who prided himself in blushing extremely rarely but he could definitely feel his cheeks warming. Fucking incredible. He was roughly shoving his documents and the goddamn speeding ticket in his pocket when he heard a soft laugh. His head snapped up, ready to finally give the fucking perfect cop a piece of his mind when he saw the officer’s face. Lips pulled in what Levi could only describe as the most disarming smile he had ever seen. His eyes were crinkled and dancing with mirth.
Shit! Levi realized he’d stared too long and that his lips had parted slightly, leaving his mouth hanging, if only a little. Fucking hell! He tried to pull himself together but the only thing he managed to do was utter a weak “uuuh”. The cop tilted his head to on side.
“Well, be sure not to speed through here again at least until 8 p.m or I’ll have to give you another ticket. Good day, Mr. Ackerman.” and with that he turned away and walked to the police car.
Levi put his helm on with more force than he meant to and drove away as fast as legally possible. After a sharp turn, he stopped. He was in no condition to drive. He had to calm down first. And then a sudden realization came to him.
The officer had given him the exact location and time that he was getting off duty. All Levi had to do was ask him out. How hard can it be? Right?

mistakes were made. hers was loving too much. yours? yours was being born.
he couldn’t even think straight anymore. not when he had seen brooklyn like that. hurt. how could somebody fucking do that to her? he knew she was partly to blame, getting her nose stuck in in the wrong places, but she wouldn’t have hurt anyone. she was about as harmful as a rabbit. the fact that somebody had laid their hands on her made aston’s blood fucking boil. each time he pictured her injured, he would see red, desperate to punish the person that had touched his girl. aston knew she was okay now, she was safe at home with sofia. that made it easier for him to do this. it had taken him no time at all to gather up enough information to find the guilty party. and it fucking killed him that it was one of his fellow savages. god, this just made him hate being a part of that gang so much more. the casino had been bad enough, now one of them had hurt brooklyn.
a few looks were thrown his way as he marched into the body shop. it fucked with his head that thomas was there, where his kids had played whilst his father worked. hell, where he had played as a child. his father was out the back and this was the only chance he would get to do this. the second he saw his father, his conscience would come into play and he would have to consider his options. he clapped his hand down against thomas’ shoulder and squeezed tightly, leaning in to whisper in his ear. “come with me. right now. i’m not making a scene here and if you make me, i’ll make this so much worse on you.” he began to lead thomas away and he didn’t say anything, just allowed aston to lead him out of the body shop and into his car. the ride to the cemetery was quiet, aston hadn’t said a word since they had gotten into the car. he was saving himself for that. he could tell thomas was confused and that pissed him off. he should have known what he had done. everybody knew that brooklyn was nika’s best friend and that nika was aston’s little sister. aston protected his family and yeah, the savages were his family, too. but he had to draw the line somewhere and you could not hurt his fucking girls and get away with that. he was still tracking down who had killed adelaine, but he was drawing the short straw every time. brooklyn had been right, it was an accident and he would have to learn to deal with the fact that he would likely never find the person who had fired that fatal bullet into her chest.
the cemetery seemed to be empty, there were no cars in the lot and that was a good sign. anybody else that was around, aston could get rid of with a few words. he secured the parking brake and got out of the car, moving around to the boot. his duffel bag sat neatly in the centre and he pulled it over his shoulder and slammed the boot down. he lit a cigarette and placed it between his lips as he opened the door and reached inside, pulling thomas out by his collar. “walk.” he was met with confusion and aston stared blankly at him. “are you fucking deaf, thomas? i said walk.” the thing was, by now, people knew when aston was pissed off. he had a short temper as it was and when he was angry, he was likely to snap a lot easier. so thomas walked. and walked. and walked. until aston had smoked three cigarettes and found a more secluded area of the cemetery. even if the cemetery was full, they wouldn’t be seen through the trees. there were still a few headstones where they were, but aston was counting on nobody coming to see those people today. if they did, they’d be met with a sight they wouldn’t forget for a while. “here’s fine. stop.”
aston dropped the duffel bag down onto the ground and stubbed out his cigarette against a tree. this needed to go the way he wanted it to. thomas had to do and say the right things for aston to be sufficiently satisfied with the job. after all, it had to be worth betraying his family for. he wanted to hear thomas admit that he had hurt brooklyn and felt no remorse in doing so. he had to take this slow. he didn’t want to waste this perfect opportunity. clearing his throat, aston leaned against the tree, folding his arms over his chest. “i’m gonna ask you some questions, thomas. and you’re gonna be honest with me. ‘cause if you’re not, i’m gonna make you really fucking regret it.” what he didn’t know was that he was going to be regretting a lot of his life choices once aston was done with him. “okay. what did i do this time?” he was actually laughing and god, aston wanted to smash his face into the tree for that. did this seem like a game? like one big joke that he could just laugh his way out of? clearly, aston was sending off the wrong vibe if he had the audacity to laugh right now.
“you hurt a girl i really fucking care about, thomas. you touched brooklyn and hurting a member of my family is really fucking frowned upon, you know that, right? brooklyn is my fucking family and you hurt her.” aston hated saying the words out loud, it hurt his heart. it only made him blame himself even more than he already was. he wasn’t even sure his heart could take much more of the guilt and shame he had forced upon himself. first adelaine, now brooklyn. who would be next? “what? no. no, i didn’t hurt nobody, man. and even if i did, i thought we were your family.” aston did occasionally find it hard to separate the savages and his blood. he knew that dna didn’t make a family and he did accept the savages as his family, but the line was drawn now. the savages were not the family he had once made. they had grown apart in the past few weeks, since adelaine had died as a direct cause of something jason had ordered. it made his skin crawl to think about it. his loyalty to the gang had been one of many reasons why adelaine had requested their divorce. and how could he ever deny her something that would keep her safe and protect their children? it had been what she had wanted and he had never been any good at saying no to her.
“yeah, i’m not gonna stand here and say you guys aren’t my family, but i will say this. there’s a fucking difference between them and you.” he pushed himself off the tree and shoved his hands into his pockets. his fingertips brushed over the knuckle dusters in each pocket and he pulled them out, one at a time, placing them onto his hands. he flexed his fingers and made each hand into a fist and grinned at thomas. aston was a good soldier because he did what he was told. he was a great soldier because he got a kick out of doing it. thomas seemed to be rooted to the spot, staring at aston as he stepped closer and closer to him. he grasped his jaw firmly in his hand, staring into his eyes. “i want you to listen closely. because you get one chance at this, thomas . and i mean one fucking chance. just be honest and i’ll let you go. you got it?” thomas nodded as best he could with aston’s hand holding his jaw. “did you lay your hands on brooklyn?” he began to shake his head and aston sighed, releasing his jaw. that was not what he wanted to hear. “no, i swear. i never          " aston cut him short with a sharp swing to the right side of his jaw. the bone cracked beneath his fist and god, aston was going to fucking enjoy this. “that’s the wrong answer, thomas . i told you to be honest. you got one chance and that was it. you’re gonna really regret not telling me the truth.” he was never going to run free, but aston would have held back a little. now? now, thomas was going to feel the full force of aston’s anger.
his jaw wasn’t broken but talking would hurt. if he knew what was good for him, he’d keep quiet. “i’m gonna need you to stop talking for a while. and try not to scream, that’ll hurt your jaw, too.” aston laid two punches to thomas’ chest, knocking him off his feet and onto the ground. he had a moment whilst thomas caught his breath and he knelt down beside his bag, unzipping it. the knuckle dusters were slipped in the inside pocket and aston studied the items inside. there were far too many to pick from, though he knew he would not be using just one weapon today. he lifted a hunting knife from inside the bag and removed it from the holster, scraping the pad of his thumb over the blade. it was sharp enough to make a clean cut, it would get deep and leave a nice scar for thomas to remember him by. remember this situation and why he should take his actions a little more seriously. after all, consequences were a serious thing. his gun stayed tucked in the back of his jeans, just in case. but with the knife in his hand, aston couldn’t imagine thomas trying to pull anything that would end with him being killed. he wasn’t that stupid, was he?
aston stood and stepped over to thomas’ shaking frame, standing over him. he was still a little winded and his breathing was laboured. he must have hit him harder than he realised. good. he deserved to be in pain. he lowered himself down until he was crouched over him. he ran the tip of the knife slowly from his cheek down to his neck. it scraped along his skin and he pressed the tip of the knife against his throat. “she’s never hurt anyone. anything. and you hurt her. that sweet, charming girl. who only ever wants to help people. that’s what she was doing. helping a kid in her class. but how would you know that? you don’t think. you just act. you use your fists to talk, right? well, i use my weapons. and they say a lot more than i ever can.” aston sliced along his skin slowly, a small incision causing blood to bead against the knife. now, that’s what he wanted to see. thomas had to bleed for this to mean anything. but he would have to bleed a lot more than that. he heard the groan slip through his gritted teeth and aston grinned. words were useless now. he had said what he needed to and thomas was, finally, doing what aston had asked of him.
he moved to the side and pressed his foot against thomas’ hand, making sure he would stay right there. the sounds coming from him were delicious, like music to aston’s ears. he dragged the knife down thomas’ chest and stomach, pausing for a moment to pick a leg. he closed his eyes, exhaled slowly and moved his hand, opening them to see the knife travelling down his right leg. perfect. he turned his head to look at thomas and found him staring back at him, eyes wide. he shook his head and aston simply shrugged back at him, grasping the knife tightly in his hand and he drove it deep into his flesh, just underneath his knee. thomas couldn’t hold back the screams this time and aston clamped his hand down over his mouth. “if you’re going to keep making so much noise, i’ll have to gag you, thomas.” he glanced down at his leg and the knife stood proudly in his flesh, blood seeping through his jeans and down onto the grass. aston lifted his foot and thomas’ hand was limp, hardly moving until he grasped at the grass and pulled, probably in attempt to find some release as he couldn’t scream. aston kept a switchblade tucked into his sock, in case of emergencies. this was hardly an emergency, but it would be good to use. smaller cuts were favourable for this, he wanted thomas to be in pain, see his handiwork for as long as possible.
shoving his shirt up to his chest, aston sliced along his stomach, small cuts marking his skin as the knife nicked him. each cut had thomas moaning out beneath his hand and it was actually music to his ears. revenge was one of aston’s favourite things and brooklyn deserved to be avenged for being hurt for no reason. just as adelaine did. blood beaded at each cut on thomas’ skin and aston smacked his hand down against his skin, a muffled scream sounding. “i’m going to move my hand, but you can’t make any noise, okay? you need to shut your fucking mouth, thomas.” he nodded weakly and aston removed his hand, slicing from his belly button to his chest in small, precise incisions. each one was deeper than the last and thomas gritted his teeth and forced the pained groans back down. aston curled his fingers around the hunting knife and pulled it from thomas’ leg, grabbing a handkerchief from the bag and wiping it clean. “fuck. fuck. fuck. you know, aston, jesus. if there was anything you were going to hurt me for, i didn’t think it was this.” he had just been about to place the hunting knife back into the holster and tuck it away into his bag, movements stilled as thomas spoke. what was that supposed to mean? what else had thomas done that would make aston want to hurt him?
“what the fuck is that supposed to mean?” thomas’ eyes slipped shut and aston smacked his cheek until he was responsive, blinking up at him. his eyes were wide and he looked like the blood loss was getting to him. good. aston grabbed hold of his jaw, nails digging into his flesh. “what the fuck did you mean by that, thomas? what else have you done?” he at least had the decency to look a little ashamed by aston’s question. but until he had the answer, aston wasn’t interested in his fucking facial expressions. “i was the one who killed adelaine.” aston felt sick. he was face to face with the person who had killed the mother of his children. thomas was not even going to get the chance to regret telling aston that. to confessing to his biggest sin. his breathing was heavy and aston’s knuckles began to turn white as he gripped the knife tightly. “thank you for telling me that. i’ve been trying to find out who had killed her since it happened. unfortunately for you, you killed the mother of my children. my children get to grow up without their mother because of what you did. accidental or not, i cannot overlook this, thomas.” he would have apologised but his mother did not raise a liar.
his eyes were glued to thomas’ face and he drove the knife deep into his right thigh. this time, when thomas screamed out in pain, aston didn’t silence him. he no longer cared if they were alone or not, if they would get caught. he cared that thomas was in pain and suffering. like adelaine had been when she died in aston’s arms. he pulled the knife from his flesh and drove it straight back down into his leg. it sliced through like butter and aston leaned over a little to slide it into his skin. over and over and over. blood splattered over his hands, shirt and face. he couldn’t have said when thomas stopped breathing, but stab wounds littered his legs, stomach and chest. each drive of the knife into his flesh had been done by a robot. aston could not even remember stabbing him so many times. but blood had begun to turn his white shirt red and the grass beneath the still body red. inhaling deeply, aston wiped the knife on his handkerchief and placed it back into the holster and then into the bag. getting thomas back to the car would be difficult, but he would do it.
he no longer had to worry about finding the person who had killed adelaine and he could focus on his children now. making sure they were okay and happy and safe. he could focus all his attention onto nika and brooklyn. he could keep them all safe now that the biggest danger in his life was gone. with thomas dead, aston did not have to go in search of the killer, the person who had ruined his life. the fact that he now felt more alone than ever was beside the point. at least when he didn’t know who had killed adelaine, he could feel her presence. now, she was gone. he was entirely alone and he felt like he was the only person in the entire world. aston made sure to get rid of thomas’ body as quickly and efficiently as possible. he could not leave his children now. not when he was so ready and eager to give them his full attention. along with other members of his family. he changed his clothes before heading back home, no longer covered in another’s man blood. he could now hold brooklyn and his children and promise them they were safe. and this time, when he looked the three of them in the eyes and assured them they were safe and no harm could come to them, he would be telling the truth. with thomas gone, aston felt at ease, as though a weight had been lifted.
