steve is known at school as the aspiring musician and people usually enjoy watching n listening to him play his guitar during free period- it's also known that he's been having writers block with his lyrics for a while, and it's evident when he aggressively strums after a minute of repeating the lastest line he's written right as the bell rings.

billy is a secret lover of poetry and has a bunch of drafts crammed into his bag that he never lets anyone touch or even look at. he usually watches steve play from afar and has picked up on the guy's writers block, so, with a lot of mental preparation, he slips a few lines and suggestions he's written into steve's locker when he was supposed to be in AP history.

steve, greatly confused by the pieces of neatly folded paper that flutter out onto the floor when he opens his locker for the next class, is eternally grateful for the mysteriously anonymous help as he finds it a lot easier to scribble down the rest of the verses with what he was given.
