Favourite frames from the new B-Side chapter, featuring some analysis because I have coherent thoughts this time 'round :D

First up, I love this chapters art. It reminds me of when I was little and asking my dad to help my brother and I beat the last level of episode 3 in lego star wars tcs

Numbers weapon 1 mention!! I'm very excited to (hopefully) get more lore about it. Although I am curious if it's like a contact lens or something, I thought it was closer to a surgical implant or maybe some weird side effect from using numbers weapon 1. Mostly because I don't think he's been drawn with normal eyes yet in the manga (at least from what I remember)

Either way very much hoping we get some more numbers weapon 1 lore in this :)

This whole scene but specifically "what good does a test proving I'm abnormal do" hits so hard, especially as someone diagnosed with ADHD in my late teens. Having that feeling of there's something wrong with me for so long and being brushed off every time because I didn't act like the stereotypical 10 year old boy with severe ADHD (a psychiatrist literally told me and my mum i probably had adhd but she wouldnt diagnose me,) I did start to kind of give up on ever figuring it out.

Narumi was incredibly relatable to me in the main manga (not because I'm a badass, I'm very lame lmao) because of the behaviours he exhibits, hyperfocusing on games, constant dopamine seeking (through videogames and online shopping,) needing to be fiddling with something to better process the information being given out, etc.

Narumi is also incredibly smart, its stated explicitly that he got top scores in the entrance exam and I can't imagine those tests are anywhere near easy. It gives neurodivergent kid being told they just need to apply themselves to do better in school/make friends/just function in a neurotypical way in general.

This also comes from his being kicked out of several orphanages, and then even after joining the defence force (especially after being told by Isao that they take anyone that can show skills and results) getting kicked out by the second division and every platoon in the first until he ends up under hasegawa. Considering the title too this is 100% supposed to read as the classic "troubled kid" (many of which are neurodivergent) that not many are willing to put effort into helping. Isao is giving him a way out of the life of having no home to go back to, only to be struck with the threat of getting kicked out once again a year later. Narumi is a very skilled and capable fighter and no one in their right mind would argue with that and it once again all comes down to being labelled as too difficult, hard to work with, never paying attention

This chapter just hits so close to home with me

Baby Mina!! I know there's a decent amount if it in the manga but it's still weird to see her with short hair. I love her so much

There are many more words of appreciation I have but all thought went into dissecting Narumi's character lol

And so being kicked around by hasegawa begins

I love his face here, top tier expression

And here we see Isao solidifying the thought of skill and results being all that matters, there's no way Isao was going to let Narumi get kicked out, especially not after showing aptitude for handling numbers weapon 1. I like to think at this point he does also care for Narumi, I think he sees a lot of Kikoru (or what she could be) in him and especially he sees himself in Narumi. And even though he's only ranked captain Isao would clearly fight to keep Narumi on the force (he probably already had to for Narumi to get transferred to the first division instead of just being dropped when he didn't mesh with the second)

This is also the beginning of Isao and Narumi's mentor/mentee relationship, Isao knows exactly how to handle Narumi and his child prodigy-ness and help him reach his potential as a defence force officer. I think that's part of why Isao shows little care for how Narumi handles himself when off duty, it may be that he knows he can't change Narumi in that way, it may be that he himself just doesn't care for all the professional decorum, either way Isao plays the very important role of being Narumi's main support while he's in the defence force (until Isao dies anyway, whoops.) Narumi needed a space where he could not only be himself but be accepted for it and have the trust of his peers and superiors that he would get the job done when he needs to, and whether it was on purpose or not Isao provided exactly that for him.

This also ties back into the earlier ramble about Narumi being the typical undiagnosed neurodivergent "troubled kid"

Another interesting tidbit about Narumi is his self confidence, he knows he's capable and isn't afraid to tell people that. He says playing support is annoying but what I see is someone that knows he can do better placed somewhere else and has decided to take that into his own hands. He won't get kicked out of the defense force but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets into a shit ton of trouble for taking Isao's words to heart and disregarding his orders, even though I do think he'll be an asset to the battle and perform better being closer to the front lines.

Poor hasegawa has his work cut out for him keeping Narumi in check (a captain and vice-captain match made in hell)

sad thing is.. with this low level of braincells I think someone will actually do this and then its gonna be the first time, when the fandom stupidity will lead to a real life consequences, but hell, maybe this will teach someone something idk.

definitely me crying at the fact that ppl these days don’t even get what the creators are trying to say with their creation and twisting it to the unholy level. like I understand that everything is up to the interpretation, but it’s like if 90% of the readers would’ve interpret that “Pride and Prejudice” is a story about a poor misunderstood Wickham, abused by Darcy bc the ugly asshole didn’t get that the poor man needed help with his compalsive gambling disorder lmao

just being in the literature/movies analyses since forever, I find it absolutely fascinating how when it comes to books and movies 90% of ppl usually get okay, what the creator was trying to convey, at least like even some do not get the depth, they at least get the main message and don’t twist it to this extent, but when it comes to anime, it’s not the first time I’m watching something, make my own assumptions, then happily go to read fandom posts and surprisingly find that most of them are like a complete opposite AND mocking these tiny bunch, who have the perfectly adequate point of view. first time it happened I was like “am I dumb or smth”, but then the creators speak up and I’m like “ah so I did understand the message correctly”. it’s just most of the viewers didn’t. 

it’s like when I saw those messages about how many think that Seirin are the main characters/team of KNB and Haru and Makoto is what Free! revolves around. I was like “how... did.. u even come to this conclusion if we watched the same thing?” and it’s not like those fans are even trying to present it as “this is just an extraordinary opinion of mine”, no, they’re sincerely going at it on the social media as “that’s what the creator was trying to say” and I’m like “no, I’m like 99% sure he didn’t try to say that” lmao and then surprise surprise... guess who’s right. 

the only question is why really. is it bc the young generation is a huge part of anime fandoms and bc they don’t want to read anymore and thus can’t develop the basic skills of character analysis? 

and before you yell at me, my mom is a school teacher and yeah, they don’t want your books anymore (I still won’t say all, but like HE MAJORITY for sure) and once during the pandemic they asked me to substitute their english online class and I asked them about their favorite fiction characters (bc I legit thought it was a the easiest way to bond and talk) and one said Thanos (...), one said Harry Potter, but when I asked “why”, thinking to hear smth like bc he’s brave or a great friend or smth, what I heard was “he does magic” I was like “well, everyone does magic there, why else”, and you’re in the 4th grade you dumb fuck (lmao that’s not, I didn’t say that xD), the third one said “Charlie from the chocolate factory” and when I asked why is that, he said “bc it’s sweet and tasty” and then I just wanted to shoot myself, cause I didn’t know already what to say... is the movie tasty? we were talking about characters tho? I was reading Jules Verne at your age and I’m not even that old, I’m 25. 

then I remember, that most of them are on twitter/tiktok/youtube, etc. and get scared and then I read some comments on MAL or smth and get even more scared. and look at the fucking ratings, I’m in shock (istg if *** score reaches the mdzs or natsume’s level, the world is officially dumb af).

anyways, back to the point. not notice the character/main conflict that drives the whole plot is truly sensational really. like that’s a whole new level of dumbness. I mean, I thought I’ve seen everything since Free! and Voltron shananigans, but heck I was so wrong. also I’d help with the good roasting, cause I’m real good at it, when needed, but I’m just not really invested enough to get into the middle of this, cause so far I don’t find the characters, who are worthy of such effort (and I think I won’t haha). but thanks for sending me this, it was satisfying to see, that at least the VAs and creators are great and that the fandom got to expose their stupidity.

GIRL GGFJFJVGDJD OK UMMM let me see... what do you like about levihan? or do you have any unpopular opinions? or headcanons!

oh boi i hope i won’t rant too much, i don’t want this answer to be a thousand miles long i don’t want to seem boring-

OKAY let’s start

What i like about levihan: i have to start with a lil background a say that levihan is my longest ship i’ve ever had, it’s the only one who survived time and the only ship i have never stopped shipping/lost interest into, which is kinda rare for me since i switch interests a lot and go through hyper-fixations, so i tend to lose interest quickly in something once i’ve found something else to pay attention to

this, however has never happened with levihan: started shipping them when i was 12, still trash 7 years later skdjdjfjf i didnt start shipping them for special reasons tho, at the time aot was my first ever still on air anime and i was completel new to the community, plus i didnt really speak english well and the first episodes i watched confused me A LOT. However, amidst all that confusion and trying to remember names and plot points, episode 9 came, i got introduced to this character who apparently is named levi, the first information the scene gives the watcher is “this guy is a grump” based on his reaction to the crowd, the second information the scene gives to the watcher is “this person next to him, despite him being a grump, isn’t afraid to tease the shit out of him and we still don’t even know their name” which i found ??? Cool??? I immediately paid attention to this lil dynamic, then the next scene was the hairgrab scene and,,,,,, yeah my 12 year old braincells went into overdrive and i was completely sold

i just needed them to interact once and BOOM

but OBJECTIVELY i still find extremely telling, years later, how these were the first informations of these characters. In a narrative, character’s introduction is absolutely crucial to the story, you can understand millions of things just by the way a character is presented and says their first lines and honestly choosing to introduce levi and hanji together was imho very, very telling of what role they’d play in the story/what role they play in each other’s lives.

isn’t it strange that the very first infirmation we get of these two is that the grumpy one is okay with this person teasing him? that means there’s gotta be a level of familiarity among them, right? and the hairgrab? requested by isayama himself? in the official book of season one it also says that the scene was added to “show their relationship”??? i mean 2+2 is 4 where i’m from 👁👄👁✨

so yeah my dumb 12 year old brain had FORESIGHT apparently-

as i picked up the manga and read through the uprising (and got older and my english got better) i noticed more and more things about them and i just really freaking fell in love with their relationship okay it wasn’t “oh cool grumpy and sunshine who teases him”, more like “holy fuck grumpy has a sad backstory, seems unapproachable but is the kindest person ever, just wants to be a hero and save everyone, has the most tender heart, sunshine is a multi dimensional character who has fears and doubts and they work so well together despite being polar opposites but at the same time their oppositeness results in somehow them being completely in sync with each other and almost thinking with the same brain as if they were one person split in half”.

since they’re grown adults and they’re so close, their relationship has something that i always seek and almost never find in other ships, which is emotional maturity. You never see them purposely tearing each other down just to hurt the other, they work out their problems and C O M M U N I C A T E ✨ they don’t act childishly around each other, they tease and bicker but it’s completely different than full blown arguments where both parts disrespect the other just to prove their point. They are willing to listen to what the other has to say and their judgment is precious and welcomed, since the basis of their relationship is complete trust. levi is rough with words, but he means something else entirely despite what he conveys, as seen during the aftermath of eren’s first hardening experiments, and hanji totally understands what he wants to say, which is why they never reprimand him or take offense to what he says.

what i’m trying to say, i believe in a way that nothing is half-assed about how they were written in the story as a pair, despite how i disagree with certain narrative choices *ahem*; as much as i would have wanted them to have more screentime and more interactions, i believe it wouldn’t have been “in character”, lemme explain because i realize it sounds weird and my wording probably doesn’t help: their relationship is subtle and as such it should remain subtle and in the subtext, simply because it is none of our business as readers. Show, not tell, but show in a way that it is evident only if you pay attention. levi is blunt when he speaks, but at the same time his words have another meaning than what he conveys and his actions are subtle.

isn’t it obvious with how often it was remarked that the only person who is able to understand levi completely is hanji? and this is where chapter 132 comes into play with this amazing analysis post that i’m sure we all read a thousand times and screamed over it

all this “ambiguity”, all this subtlety, all this subtext, all this wordplay, words that have more than one meaning, i believe are all indicators of one thing: us readers are not able to understand comple what levi wants to say and his words result ambiguous to us and not 100% clear, simply because the readers are not hanji. but fortunately, i believe that hanji understood that levi too wants to “stay in the forest”. this is not the reaction of someone who is confused by a sentence, this is the face of someone who finally had a realization:

what kind of realization? it’s not up to us to know (tho we know *wink wink*), because we’re not hanji and we can’t understand what levi says.

plus, 心臓を捧げよ, “dedicate your heart”, can hold a million different meanings. 心臓 is heart, を is a particle that denotes the object, 捧げよ is the verb “to offer, dedicate, devote, sacrifice”, there are no adjectives that indicate possession as you can see; levi using his own left (not right) fist and placing it on hanji’s chest instead of just taking hanji’s hand and placing it on their chest is ambiguous too. i interpet it in different ways but the conclusion is one, and i can’t honestly see it in any other way. one of the interpretations i like the most is that levi is implying that they both share the same heart, which is why he used his own left hand, meaning that both of them are dedicating their hearts in that moment to humanity, because they are actively choosing to put their desires aside to live a peaceful life away from everything (as jean too has wished in chapter 127, as hanji has expressed in 126 but in 127 too and jean seems taken aback by their confession) since they’re soldiers and duty comes first.

so yeah if i have to choose something i love the most about levihan, it’s gotta be the subtlety and the ambiguity that at the end of the day, is absolutely not ambiguous at all. everything is expressed for a reason, if an author actively chooses ambiguity, in this specific case of a relationship, he intends the result not to be ambiguous. it sounds like a brain fart but i blame it on my inability to articulate my thoughts well, i hope what i want to say can be understood 😭 and in a way, this can be considered as an unpopular opinion i think?

meaning that i get that commonly someone might want an explicit declaration that leaves no room to doubt and I honestly wish for it too, but I don’t think it would be in character, and the ambiguity (if we can call it that, i’m calling it that just to avoid backlash and controversy jshfsjdjmd) in this case speaks enough volumes to me considering both of the characters we’re dealing with, the story as a whole, the interactions with other characters.

ALSO going back to their bond, i want to copypaste something i posted on twitter regarding chapter 126 and the blush: it doesn't make sense, character-wise, for Hanji to feel in any way embarassed around Levi. They have no filters whatsoever around each other. They are close, closer than anyone in the series, the author hasn't shown any embarassment between them. Back in Uprising, when Hanji was hesitant and wanted out, Levi was the one who encouraged them. So, this thing has in a way already happened, since back then they admitted to wanting to abandon responsibilities to Levi's face and didn't blush. So, in 126's context, it doesn't really make sense for Hanji to blush "only because they were embarassed at being caught wanting to run away". It happened once already and there was no blush. So yeah, the blush means something else. And that something else is definitely much, much, MUCH deeper than "embarassment". 🙌

since smartpass stories can absolutely be taken as part of the canon universe as they’re supervised and approved by isayama and published with the manga, i am adding the rain story as further proof of what kind of relationship they have. also levi being a 30 year old tsundere is adorable but movING ON

SO YEAH MY FINAL TWO CENTS ARE : i love everything about levihan and there isn’t a single thing i would change, because wanting aot to be a huge slice of life of them doing the most random things just to watch them interact doesnt count sjdjfjdjdjfjsmdm, my unpopular opinion is that i find the subtlety and the ambiguity KEY to doing justice to what they have because it’s none of us readers’ business because only they are able to understand each other and i fucking LOVE that, my headcanon is that they totally kissed once during the timeskip, maybe on the first anniversary of the battle of shiganshina, i see them not being able to sleep alone and finding comfort in each other and in a moment of weakness and vulnerability they kiss, but pretend it never happened because things are messy and they can’t afford to get involved because again, duty first, but the YEARNING™️ and the PINING™️ only intensifies after that, but they manage not to make things awkward and they are close as ever.

Boku No Hero Academia first impression:

In no particular order, covering the first 4 episodes, because I FINALLY watched them. it got kinda long and kinda critical, but I do see why ppl would like the show:

- I absolutely adore the art style and animation - the hero and villain design? awesome, I swear - that scene where Miss Mountain gets introduced and everyone just takes pictures of her butt, like, why did we need this scene? Really? Isn’t it time for the Shonen Genre to grow up a little? - All Might - I repeat, All Might as this skinny guy because he’s badly injured? Awesomeness - 80% of people have a Quirk, that means that 20% of people don’t have one, which means that one in five people actually don’t have superpowers so it is highly improbable that Deku’d be the only kid without a Quirk in his class/he and the bullies seem to know - would people with useless quirks be discriminated against as well? And shouldn’t, statistically speaking, most quirks be flippin’ useless in most cases? - on that note, I’m just so dying for the topic of Quirkless people in the population being discriminated as a whole? I mean, judging by how people treat Deku, I think they are, but at the same time they don’t appear to be at all? - What did the Quirks do to classic Beauty standards? Since it’s fairly normal for people to look abnormal, yet at the same time the crowds only ever consist of regular people in suits? Idk, waiting to see more on that I guess? - Did I mention the cinematography? A+ for the light effects in the junk yard scene - wayyyy to many flashbacks repeating something I saw 2 minutes earlier though - Deku studying all the heroes is pure and smart and actually getting him to his goal and I love it - Okay, but how come Deku appearantly never had the idea to work out before? Look at One Punch Man, it worked for him too. - Kacchan has zero chill and it is honestly getting a bit annoying already - what the heck is wrong with the teacher. Good lord, that is one heck of a bad teacher. Fire him, like, right now - seriously tho “Kacchan, you aren’t allowed to use your powers in class, oops, you set the wimp on fire, happens, I guess” (are we not gonna talk about how dangerous these powers can be? Kacchan has the ability to set people on fire and no one is like “Dude, you gotta chill and do something about your anger management, how you haven’t accidentally killed anyone is a miracle”) - Idk what that relationship between Deku and Kacchan is supposed to be, everyone calls them ‘rivals’ and ‘childhood friends’ but, just, NO. Kacchan told Deku to kill himself in his second major appearance, they ain’t no friends. - idk what Kacchans real name is, I forgot already - if no one calls Kacchan out on his bullshit any time soon I will riot. The difference between ‘Rivals’ and ‘Enemies’ is that only one of them is supposed to want to see you dead - the fact that Deku just gets to inherit his powers from All Might is a bit underwhelming. “So you are genetically at a disadvantage compared to most of society? Here’s awesome magic to give you a genetic advantage (once you learn to control it).” I’d love to see what they’d done if Deku had no way of getting actual superpowers and just had to train hard - basically, BNHA would have made an awesome Mumen Rider prequel - yes, overexerting yourself a few hours before your great exam sounds like a wonderful idea - NOT - I’m not saying it’s not relatable, I’m just saying I don’t think either of them gets to have the braincell in this show - ahahaha, Deku had to eat All Mights hair, that is both awesome and gross on so many levels - I don’t care how much magical healing they have, I call bullshit if not at least a few people get killed by falling debris every year during this exam - the girl is trapped. Deku has to save her! except. she has levitation powers. Just levitate the rock off your leg. - WHY DOESN’T SHE JUST LEVITATE THE ROCK. she can’t even feel ‘too sick’ to do it because she saves Deku afterwards anyway, so the author plain forgot about her powers there, or she has lower regard for her own life than she has for Dekus, and I’m not sure which option I’m more comfortable with, since they literally only just met and he wouldn’t even have been in danger had she just levitated the rock off her leg - im just saying, were she a male character, she would’ve been able to get the rock off her leg because of the power of determination or whatever because she wants to pass badly. But because she isn’t she gets the power of determination to save the main character, not herself. - yes I will complain about sexism in shonen anime, fight me. - the show underestimates how much broken bones HURT. Deku broke all of his bones in three of his limbs, he should have passed out from the pain a bunch of times during his fall - the flapping of his broken limbs was so painfull to watch, ahhhh - please let there be consequences for injury, please let there - oh damn it - Dekus Mom is so super supportive of her sons dreams and fretts with him over the letter and the heroes and all, but of course he doesn’t tell her about his encounter with All Might, not even that he is now training, and leaves her in front of his closed door while he opens the letter from the UA, but, but why? They seem to have a good relationship with each other so far and she is super supportive, so why doesn’t Deku open up to her more? As far as we know, she is his only ally anyway since he didn’t have any friends in middle school. It either gets adressed or it WILL bother me to no end - on that note, glasses dude with the freaky legs already looks super promising and is probably gonna end up high on my fav characters list - Deku very clearly failed the exam in every way, but passed because he had good intentions. I see where they’re coming from since he did something heroic, but he absolutely risked his life recklessly and while that is heroic, it’s also so super stupid, if all the heroes constantly pulled stunts like this, there would be no UA - what kept All Might from giving Deku his hair like, a week prior so he could test out what the heck he could even do? It’s not like Deku suddenly became shredded in the last week, they wouldn’t have noticed a huge enough difference in that last week alone to make the muscle mass argument stick (since All Mights calculations were off anyway since Deku overexerted himself and all that) and it’s just so goddamn irresponsible and dangerous coming from a character that didn’t seem stupid enough to be that irresponsible - I know All Might probably counted on Deku being heroic instead of powerful, but that still made the entire thing super risky and dangerous. Rarg. - my suspension of disbelief is officially stretched beyond ever needing to worry about any of these character’s health, because clearly, they’re gonna make it as long as they have good intentions. yawn. - I know BNHA is a very classical shonen show in this regard, but it’s not like very classical shonen weren’t able to be at least a bit reasonable about the amount of injury a character survives within the first four episodes (for all its faults, Soul Eater was awesome about that, now that I think about it. One Piece meanwhile just convinced me right off the bat that injury is purely an aesthetic thing) - I think Mob Psycho may have ruined me for shonen forever :/ - They keep teasing really good ideas only to go ‘sike!’ and do the least interesting thing. - Like, Deku has no powers, but keeps books upon books filled with analysis of his fav heroes. That’s awesome! Do something with that! Have him work out and be smart and prove that people with useless/no quirk can be just as good if they work smartly! Have him fake a quirk to get in, or get in on All Might’s reccomendation, or- - or don’t have him get in because of the systemic discrimination and have Deku become a real, classic vigilante, protecting the quirkless and fighting systemic oppression. Or have him become a villain. - I bet there’s fanfic for that. Might check out. - On that note, how do people with non-combat powers ever get into the school. “Yes, I see that you have super healing, empathy, can calm other people down, paralyse them and would in general be an awesome hero to deescalate situations. But we prefer people with the power to punch things really hard.” isn’t there a mind control guy later in the show? How’d he get in? - on second thought, the school and the test make perfect sense because entrance exams be like that. Hnnng. I dropped the show. I’m not vibing with it :/

i just finished Elite S2

so here goes the opinion no one asked for WARNING, spoilers ahead (duh) and a long ass character analysis (kinda, im not a film student, sorry, its mostly me being kind of bitchy about everyone lol)

just like my last one, i’ll talk about Characters, starting with the new ones.

Valerio, the most scandalous of the three (and he had good competition) i have nothing agaisnt his character, except for the fact that he is a cliche (except for the incest, that’s a first) i like him, i like what he brought to the show and i like how the season ended for him, what i absolutely hate, is how the handled his drug abuse. no one seems really concerned with the fact that he is basically destroying his life and every time rehab is mentioned is just brused off in a joke or something, i really hope he ODs or something in the next season so something is done for the poor child. as for the incest, as scandalous and taboo as it is it kinda made sense for him to feel the way he felt, i mean clearly his father doesn’t like him one bit, and i don’t think his mother is any different, plus, without that whole thing Valerio’s character would have been nonexistent cause half of the time he was just there to act like a complete fool cause he was high.

Rebeka, she was ok, i don’t hate her but im also not super into her, i don’t have much to say about her, i like how she always responded to Lu, the girl needed the competition, i like what she does to Samuel, it made him less lame than the last season and i like how Cayetana calls her out about them being sort of, kind of the same. she is nice, didn’t had much of an arc apart from getting samuel into shady bussiness...but yeah, she was ok.

Cayetana, i like her character, tho i feel like she is a little bit the same Polo was on the first season, they don’t do much, until they do the thing and everything becomes a mess. i see people hate on her because of how manipulative she is and, listen, i absolutely HATE the way she treats her mother, that is not redimible, but out of all the terrible things other characters do (kill, publish personal videos, uncover murder, uncover a drug trafficking bussiness, among others) stealing from rich people, is pretty light grey on the moral scale compared to the other ones. And i like her, she is pretty smart, knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. does she have bad qualities? sure, a lot, but i still like her, fight me.

Carla, my love, my life, i still love her to death. is she a bad bitch? sure, but she is a bad bitch with feelings, i have mixed feelings about her relationship with Samuel, on one hand, they were pretty darn cute in every scene they weren’t trying do discover/uncover murder, on the other, i don’t like Samuel, so i don’t want him with Carla lol. Maybe i’ll be more inclined to hate on the “bad” characters if i had cared about Marina’s murder, but i didn’t, and i still don’t. So did Carla do a lot of shady and inmoral things? sure, do i care enough for that to make me hate her? no, i love her personality, i love her character, and i still love her.

Lucrecia, a bit more depth was added to her this season, i think we can all agree Guzman was very hot headed even before Marina died so i can only think about all the things Lu did for him, i mean that scene at the end of season one? that was pretty heavy, Guzman was with Lu because he needed her the same way he needed his mother, but not because he actually loved her as a romantic partner, and Lu might be a bitch, but she didn’t deserved to get played with like that. BUT all the sympathy i had for her went away on the last episode when she made Nadia’s video public, that was fucked up. I like her as a character but i don’t like her character, i don’t know if im being clear. i like what she brings to the story, but she is still a bitch and needs to apologize to Nadia.

Guzman, he was annoying to me for the first part of the season, he was acting like an idiot and did he have a reason for it? sure, his freaking sister just got killed, i would get crazy too, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t annoy me the same way it annoy Lu and Nadia, i get it boy, you are sad, but that’s enough, there are healthier methods, ok? he also doesn’t do much, he spends most of the season wondering what’s wrong with his life, playing with Lu and Nadia until the last episode where he realizes what has been going on and hides Samuel.

Nadia, the acting in this one was phenomenal, the scene where she breaks down in front f her parents, SOMEONE GIVE THE GIRL A FUCKING OSCAR, as for her storyline with Guzman and her religion...i have nothing against Nadia wanting to experiment and doing things she shouldn’t do because she is in love, and she is a teenager and she doesn’t want to miss out on those things, but at the same time, i wish they used her religion for a porpouse other than to show how unhappy she is. Sure, it can be hard not to be like everyone else, but for many muslims (and people from other religions with the same kind of rules) their faith is not a cage, like it seems to be for Nadia. So sure, give me a girl that fucks up and kind of abandones her religion, but also show me what her faith gives to her (i strongly recommend watching clip 4 from s4 of Skam, “the best of Islam”, it’s what i would like to see in Nadia)

Samuel, he is not as lame as he was in season one, but i still don’t connect with him, i don’t hate him, or his character, he is just pretty meh for me, again, maybe i’ll like him had i liked Marina in the first place, but i didn’t care that much, kudos to him for figuring everything out and thinking of that plan, a thing that i didn’t really get was him almost killing his brother...the poor guy has been in jail the whole time, all he knows is Carla killed Marina and almost killed Cristian because he was going to confess, so yeah, i think is reasonable for him to think that you are in danger if he sees Carla kissing you, you dumbass, next time just tell him whats going on instead of punching him to unconciousness. 

Polo, he didn’t have much of a personality in season one, but damn the change in season two. he is insecure, sure and suffers from anger/panic attacks (?) but that doesn’t mean he isn’t as calculative and smart as Carla, i feel like the only reason he was such a puppy going after her in season one is precisely because of his anxiaty and insecurity, but once he starts to find confidence he stops being a puppy and starts becoming a bit more like his former girlfriend, in that sense they truly do deserve each other. about him i feel pretty neutral, about his character whitin the story, i think is pretty amazing, and im kinda hoping he doesn’t end up in jail.

Ander and Omar, i don’t have that much to say about them, compared to all the other drama the drama they go through feels insignificant even if its not. i love that they didn’t break them apart, i love how they handled the struggles of their relationship, from how hard it was having to hide, to how things changed once Omar could be more of himself, i also loved that change, i loved Omar’s speach to Ander’s dad, it was spot on and it deserved an standing ovation, in this whole mess Omar seems to be the only one with common sense i swear,he should share his braincell with the rest of them, cause they desperately need it.

Finally,

Cristian and Nano, i dont have much to say about them, i liked Nano’s character progression, it was obvious it was going to end that way, he already wanted to leave in season one, and obviously his relationship with Samuel would never be the same now after all that has happened, as for Cristian...i think the fact that he was written off this season just shows how unnecesary he was in season one, cause apart from giving the power moment that was Carla giving her mother the middle finger as she ran with two guys to hook up, i can’t think of anything else Cristian did for the show in season one, apart from being the comedic relief (that hey, Valerio filled that position with ease)

so that is what i think about the characters in Elite S2, i know how mean i sound lol but i actually love the show and i can’t way to see how they will untangle everything that they’ve done so far

Yeah, it's pretty obvious Kique is trying to paint Kargo as a bad guy and it has been obvious for quite while with the whole "we need to leave the Midnight tribe" but this is just sickening. In any other comic the events I describe above would happen (or something in a similar manner) but this is Home my dudes, of course we can't have bad guy Kargo attack poor Rogipoo! I'll bet my kidney that Kargo is gonna get scorned while Rogio will be praised like some sort of a dog Jesus.

One good thing I'll say tho (because I'm so SO desperate to say something good about this mistake of a comic it's driving me nuts just being negative) is that I like how Kargo remains in character here. Many if not all other characters change personality through the comic but Kargo pretty much remains the same. He's a hotheaded Chad with anger issues who acts first and thinks second and this thing happening with Rogio here I can totally see him doing. That dog backstabbed him, slept with his love interest, refused to help him save the sexslaves etc. Everyone with at least two braincells would not like this guy and Kargo's rage here is only emphasized by his impulsiveness and anger issues (and also Rogio trying to play the victim. Boohoo Kargipoo I was abwuuuused! BITCH YOU CHOSE TO BE WITH OREO DOG CUZ "HE WAS NICE TO YOU" YOU EVEN ADMIT THAT!!!)

The second thing you said I never really considered until I saw your reply, and I must say I really DO like that idea. That is making even more parts. Because I'm a sucker for detailed analysis and I want to talk about as much bullshit as I can the script is still suuuper long. Like already, just by judging the number of pages I have the next part will already be over an hour and I'm still only like halfway through writing about the plot part.

Not all people like super long videos and despite the fact I'm someone who enjoys reviews that can be over an hour long, even I don't see myself watching something that has like three hours. So what I'm thinking I might do is divide each part into it's own video. Like the rest of the characters would be part two, the nonsense category would be part three etc. It would allow me to ramble about things in greater detail while also not boring the viewer to death with a three hour video. I'd kill two birds with one stone...hmmm I do like this idea quite a lot!

Yeah Rogio deserves nothing but to suffer at this point. He's done some pretty messed up stuff including seducing and emotionally confused person and backstabbing his so called "friend" by doing so, holding a secret about Ronja, staying with an abusive rapist because he "treated him nicely" the list goes on. This bag of dick hardly ever did any good and despite what him, Roamer and Kique claims he isn't trying to better himself. The one big chance he had to start his redemption he bolted out of because he's a coward and now two dogs are dead because of him.

As much as I do hope Kargo is the one to drag him through the mud this could still be seen as assault. Yes Rogio deserves this and yes it is in Kargo's character to act this impulsively, it is still an attack without provocation and Kargo can be punished for it. In an ideal story, what I described above would trigger (the tribe turning on Rogio, or something similar in that matter) but yeah...we all know Kargo is the only one who'll get punished, possibly even thrown out while Rogio will slap some HeAlInG BaRkTM on his wounds and be praised for his bravery or whatever.

I really do hope Ferah will just start to fade into the mists of forgotten characters like the OG Asmundr pack did cuz her selfishness is seriously starting to battle that of Rogio's and we all know that is a big statement to make. I describe her horrific acts in greater detail in her character analysis in the upcoming video but in a nutshell:

Ferah constantly shits on Kargo. Whatever bad happens she blames on him, the biggest offence yet being the whole FerahxFjorodorojrodl love story. Nobody, absolutely nobody asked her to leave! Not Fjordor, not Kargo, not our lord and saviour lord Megatron himself, NOBODY asked her to leave the Midnight tribe. After they left she tries to shift blame on Kargo for not telling her to stay and I'm like Ferah??? My dude??? My doggo?? You're! An adult person n!! It's nobody's!! Duty!!! To tell you!!! To not leave you sugar daddy!!!!?!?

Ferah is a selfish, cold hearted loser who only thinks of herself, I hope Avanti the baboon beast munches on her stinky ass. I never liked her in the first place but now I straight up hate her. Rogio and Roamer are bad characters, yes, but I usually just cringe painfully whenever they're on a page, while Ferah makes me want to smash my phone. She's my least favourite character out of all these.

And now to finish this with something ridiculous and disgustingly cringey??? The_doggy_dick_5000!!!

I really do not understand Kique's obsession with dog dicks it's actually kind of concerning. But like every piece of art in this comic is so badly wrong it makes you wonder why the fuck are these dicks so swollen????

Kargo's neck is now broken my dudes, I seriously can't believe this was drawn by someone who drew over a thousand pages of canine comics. I really do pity his Patreons.

Jesus Christ I swear the next couple of pages will kill so many of my braincells I'll be about as intelligent as a dishwasher.

What Kique is doing here is trying to show Rogio as a poor broken individual who is riddled with guilt that goes with the fake "I deserve this" guilt tripping. Hey guys look! Kargo evil! Poor Rogipoo broken! He sad! Kargo bad!

But the thing is that Rogio really DOES deserve this. He backstabbed Kargo multiple times, he refused to help the rape victims when he had the chance, seduced his lover, caused the death of Fuss and Jonna because he's a selfish coward and stayed with and abusive rapist because "he was nice to me." Rogio deserves nothing more but this. He deserves to be dragged through the mud, he deserves to face the consequences of his evil actions and it's nice to see Kargo, who's been fucked over again and again by this diarrhea coloured bag of dicks to be the one who does it.

Just imagine what happens next. Ferah runs for help and brings half the tribe to save poow Wogipoo from evil Kargo's gaping jaws. The tribe tells Kargo to stop because you know, even tho Rogio does deserve this it's still an assault without trial. Roamer gives him one of those gross dog kisses and panders about how Kargo's baaaaad, that he's EVIL, that he forced him into all that sexy stuff they did even tho he was totally gine with it then. But instead of agreement and backup from the tribe, they stand there in silence.

Then Vigr, the impulsive voice of reason stands up and tells Roamer that yeah, what Kargo did was kind of uncalled for because Rogio didn't have a trial or something but he deserves this non the less cuz he's a shit person. Then all the others stand up.

Ronja tells him he has cheating on her with Ranach and wanted her dead out of the tribe because he was jealous of her.

Vandi, the grieving wife tells him how it's Rogio's fault her mate is dead, because Rogio was too cowardly to go and face Ranach.

Fremja joins them and says that Jonna's death is on his shoulders too and that even tho she was repeatedly raped and abused for years by Ranach and Ulfr she STILL went to face them.

And finally, Ferah. She steps forward and tells them that Rogio didn't help her and the other rape victims during the first rebellion because he liked to be treated nicely by Ranach and that he only left him because he turned his back on him. Also that Rogio seduced Roamer who was Kargo's love interest and finally steps up and defends her so called best friend.

Then, silence falls. Everyone knows Rogio is a shitbag at this point and now someone finally said it. Roamer of course rushes to his defence. He was abused! He didn't know what he was doing! Are you so sure Roamer? The tribe quickly reminds him that Rogio wasn't and that he was fine in his little privileged bubble. And if he oh so regrets his actions, why isn't he trying to better himself? Ever since he returned to the tribe all he did was cause the death of two dogs, slack around and butfuck Roamer. Just saying he regrets it isn't doing it. Rogio NEEDS to act better is he is to be forgiven.

Roamer loves Rogio of course so he would still violently defend him. And now the tension arises. Kargo is still told of for his attack because Rogio wasn't sentenced then and it still counts as an assault. Now what do they do with Rogio? Well for a start they take his rank. Roamer is angered by this, but hotheded Vigr reminds him that Rogio never embraced his rank, Roamer does his chores anyway and the one time the tribe needed him he stayed inside the walls like a little coward. The question of throwing him out rises, but for now he stays. His privileges are taken from him, he is to eat as the last while he awaits the tribes trial.

All of this would create some wonderful tension and conflict this comic so desperately needs. Roamer is angry and everyone because his poor Rogipoo did nothing wrong, the tribe is angry/frustrated at Roamer for not seeing his evil actions, Kargo is angry at Roamer and the tribe, because Roamer still defends him and the tribe didn't kick him out immediately. Ronja is left torn between doing what the tribe wants and what Roamer wants and suffers under the pressure.

I'd kill to see something like this. The wonderful discord between several sides in an already divided tribe. Then the issues about Ranach rise again and the food is running low oh lord I'd live to see this unfold.

Well at least it would be nice if this wasn't fucking Home written by Kique.

Instead what we'll get is Kargo being scolded for attacking poor Rogipoo. Everyone is gonna turn their back on him in favour of this oh so pure soul, Roamer will have a speech about how Kargo is rotten inside and that he's glad he left him, Ferah will join in about her runined "relationship" with Jarl Frodo and Kargo will either be kicked out or severely punished while Rogio will receive all the attention and will be told what a good humble dog he is, that his past doesn't define him, that he doesn't deserve this yada yada you know how it goes.

I really REALLY need to start working on the vid again. This comic updates faster then I write the script and I can't afford to rewrite half of it just because Kique decided to fuck up the comic some more. I'm thinking that I'll set a date for the content I'll talk about and everything that is past it won't be in the video. Or does any of you have a better idea?
