Fast's SoundCloud Playlist
This playlist is not for kids... Contains lots of bulgar language, adult topics, mention of alcohol, and so much more. I rate this playlist +18. After all this blog filters a lot, but the real fast is not sfw, I normally censure a lot of what she says or does.
Listen at your own risk.
There are also a lot of silly songs from animation memes, nostalgia songs, many loud songs and chill ones 💙

IT'S ME AGAIN. DON'T ASK. Please don't question why I'm here, I only have drama in mind, but I have a desire for action.
Singer!reader with Bodyguard!sss(silver, sonic, shadow) team, Reader, a popular singer, was constantly giving concerts and releasing a new album every year and continuing to be popular, but she had a problem singing and performing constantly and after the concert, her voice was constantly muffled/hoarse this always got worried the bodyguards. Reader also delayed them just saying "don't be that worried about it omg..!" like shes mean girl type, Of course, the triple guards know that and they know her well, so they can't/didn't say much. In fact singing was a strength of hers, the songs she sang hooked/obsessed the people and helped them to love her even more. That's the good thing of her power. The bad thing is, if she sings a violent and scary melody or song, it becomes reality, but she didn't know it..yet.
Suddenly she got shot a few bullets in her chest while singing one of those kind of songs, but she kept singing to hide her pain, then a few minutes later of disaster and massive pain she fell to the ground and fans started or tried to help her but the other mean guards didn't let them as the fans began to curse the mean guards as a massive fight begin around them as the main triple guards came to the concert and tried to help her but she was already dying...the triple guards tried to save her as they failed and she died at the concert.
A star who is popular again after 10 years attracts the attention of 3 guards or not anymore guards they were normal hero hedgehogs again. Silver was the first to notice it, then shadow and sonic noticed too but had she changed much? İ MEAN MUCH. She has red hair, red sun-like pupils and a black tight jumpsuit. She also has a beauty mark below her right eye. After 3 hedgehogs tried and managed to get her attention at the concert, she suddenly stopped the concert and wanted to meet privately with 3 hedgehogs.
After entering her own private room she sneeringly smiled and looked at them as they really thought she was a dead popstar but she was faking her dead the whole time trying to recreate her singing power as she began to explain more and answered their question.
I leave you the back questions and the made-up story, You can say anything you want about why she's been acting dead so far..
take care of yourself! ⭐
voice of power

WARNING: Mentions of violence and injury, faked death
PAIRING: Sonic the Hedgehog x (Fem) Singer! Reader, Shadow the Hedgehog x (Fem) Singer! Reader, Silver the Hedgehog x (Fem) Singer! Reader,
NOTE: Hey there! I’m always excited to hear your ideas and write what inspires you! I’m here for it all. :)
SUMMARY: You’re a powerful, world-famous singer with a voice that captivates and obsesses the masses, backed by an elite team of bodyguards: Sonic, Shadow, and Silver. But behind the glamour and success, there’s a price to pay.
Tumblr media
The lights dimmed as you took center stage, basking in the deafening roar of the crowd. Their cheers, a familiar symphony of adoration, pumped through your veins like electricity. You flashed a confident smile as you gripped the microphone, your voice effortlessly weaving through the melody. Song after song, you captivated them, holding their hearts in the palm of your hand.
You were a sensation—a force of nature in the music world. No matter how many concerts you performed or albums you released, your popularity never waned. But tonight, like every other performance, the price for your talent was clear by the end.
As the final note echoed through the stadium, your voice, once powerful and sharp, had turned raspy and hoarse. You barely managed a breathy "thank you" before retreating backstage, leaving the crowd chanting your name in blissful ignorance of the strain you were under.
But your bodyguards? They knew.
Sonic was the first to greet you behind the curtain, his usual energetic smile slightly faltering when he saw the exhaustion on your face. “Another great show, huh?”
“Yeah, yeah,” you waved him off, your tone sharp but dismissive. “It’s nothing I can’t handle.”
Silver and Shadow joined moments later, their expressions a little less carefree. Silver, always the worrier, frowned. “Are you sure you’re okay? Your voice—”
“It’s fine!” you snapped, rolling your eyes. “God, you guys worry too much. It’s just hoarse. Don’t be so dramatic.”
Shadow, standing a bit farther back, crossed his arms, his red eyes studying you in silence. He, more than the others, had learned not to push you when you were like this. It was your way of coping after all.
Sonic glanced at Shadow, but he didn’t argue. He knew better, too. You were their responsibility, yes, but they’d learned over time how to navigate your prickly exterior. Still, the hoarseness in your voice was becoming too common to ignore, and they all knew it.
“You’ve been doing this a lot lately,” Silver muttered, glancing at the others for support. “We’re just… worried.”
You sighed dramatically, grabbing a bottle of water and taking a long sip. “Well, stop worrying. I’m fine. You guys need to chill.”
There it was—that edge in your voice, the cool dismissal. You weren’t cruel, not really, but you had a way of pushing them back whenever they got too close. You’d built walls to keep them from prying into things you didn’t want to talk about—like how drained you felt after every concert, or how your throat burned after singing. They weren’t allowed to worry about you, not if you had any say in it.
But deep down, they couldn’t help it. Because they knew you—better than anyone else.
Still, they held back, even as concern tugged at them. This was your routine. After every show, your voice would be rough, and after every show, you’d tell them not to worry. But as your bodyguards, they couldn’t just ignore it.
Sonic, Silver, and Shadow exchanged glances, silently agreeing to let it go for now. You were strong, and they respected that, but they’d seen enough to know when something wasn’t right.
“You’ve got more performances coming up,” Sonic said after a moment, rubbing the back of his head. “Just… don’t overdo it, alright?”
“Yeah, yeah. I’m not some fragile little flower, you know,” you replied, shrugging him off as you slung your bag over your shoulder. “I’ve got this under control.”
But they couldn’t shake the feeling that something was building, something you didn’t even realize. After all, they knew you weren’t just any singer. There was something different about you—something powerful about your voice that went beyond just captivating an audience.
And they feared that you might be playing with something you didn’t fully understand.
A few nights later, this specific night seemed perfect—just like every other concert. You were on stage, the crowd hanging on your every word, every note, just like always. The lights were bright, the music loud, and your voice—though a little strained—still commanded the room. But something felt different tonight.
The song you were performing wasn’t like your usual set. This one had a darker edge, a haunting melody that throbbed through the venue like a heartbeat. Your fans didn’t seem to mind, though. They were just as entranced as always, singing along, their faces lit with adoration.
But then, something snapped.
The first shot hit your chest before you even realized what was happening.
Pain. Sharp and all-consuming. It ripped through you, but you didn’t stop singing. You couldn’t. Your voice was your armor, your strength, and no matter what was happening, you couldn’t let the audience see you in pain. So you kept singing, your voice now layered with a hidden agony that none of them could sense—yet.
Another bullet. And another.
Your breath hitched, but the notes kept coming, your body trembling with the effort. The stage lights blurred in your vision, the sound of your voice fading under the roaring in your ears. You couldn’t stop. Not now. Not when all eyes were on you.
But the pain was unbearable.
It felt like your chest was on fire, the bullets lodged deep, your body betraying you. You clutched the microphone tighter, leaning into it for support as your legs began to give out. You didn’t care if it hurt. You didn’t care if—
Your knees buckled. The microphone slipped from your hand, and in a heartbeat, you hit the ground.
The crowd screamed.
Chaos erupted as the fans surged forward, trying to help you, but the security guards—a rougher, meaner bunch hired for the event—blocked their way, shoving people back. “Stay back!” they barked, their voices cold and unfeeling, as if they didn’t care that you were lying there, bleeding out in front of thousands of people.
The fans shouted, some of them screaming your name, others cursing the guards. Fists flew, and soon a full-blown riot broke out. The guards pushed back harder, forming a barrier around you as the concert dissolved into madness.
But you could barely see it anymore.
The pain was overwhelming, blurring the edges of your vision as blood pooled beneath you. The world spun, and your breath came in shallow gasps. The sounds around you—shouts, screams, the clashing of bodies—faded into the background.
Suddenly, through the haze, you saw them. Sonic, Shadow, and Silver were pushing through the chaos, their eyes locked on you. They moved fast, faster than you’d ever seen them, but it didn’t matter. You knew it was too late.
By the time they reached you, your chest was heaving, every breath a struggle. Sonic dropped to his knees beside you, his usual smile nowhere to be found. “Hey… hey, we’re here. You’re gonna be okay,” he said, though his voice wavered.
Shadow was already checking your wounds, his expression grim, while Silver hovered nearby, panic clear in his wide eyes.
But you knew. You could feel the life draining out of you, the strength that had always been there slipping through your fingers. You tried to speak, tried to tell them something—anything—but your voice was gone, replaced by a weak gurgle.
It was too late.
The world was already fading, the pain dulling as your body went cold. You could feel yourself slipping away, the noise of the concert—of the chaos—growing distant.
And then… just like that, you were gone.
Ten years had passed since the tragic night when your life was cut short on stage. The music world had mourned, and your three former bodyguards—Sonic, Shadow, and Silver—had each gone back to their roles as heroes. They tried to move on, but losing you had left a mark on each of them, a wound that never fully healed.
That was why, when Silver saw you again, standing under the bright lights of a new concert stage, his heart nearly stopped.
It wasn’t just the resemblance—it was you. He knew it, deep in his gut, despite the changes. You were different, transformed, but still undeniably you.
“Is that—” Silver muttered, wide-eyed, as he stared at the screen showing the concert.
Shadow, sitting nearby, followed Silver’s gaze. His eyes narrowed as he focused on the screen, a flicker of recognition flashing in his sharp red eyes. “It can’t be…”
But it was. Sonic, who had just walked into the room, caught sight of the broadcast and froze. “No way…” His usual carefree tone was gone, replaced by shock.
The three of them stared at the screen, watching in stunned silence as you moved across the stage, your presence commanding as always, but now with an even more magnetic pull. You hadn’t just changed physically—you were more powerful, more captivating than ever.
“I thought she was dead,” Sonic whispered, his voice barely audible.
Silver was the first to move, grabbing his jacket and heading for the door. “We need to get to that concert.”
Shadow and Sonic exchanged a glance before following. They didn’t know how it was possible, but if you were back, they needed answers. And more than anything, they needed to see you again.
At the concert venue, the crowd was mesmerized by your performance. Every note you sang seemed to wrap around their minds, drawing them in deeper with every passing second. But your attention wasn’t on the audience—it was on the three familiar faces you’d spotted in the crowd.
Silver. Shadow. Sonic.
It had been years since you’d seen them, but the moment their eyes met yours, you knew it was time. You couldn’t continue the charade any longer.
Without warning, you stopped mid-song. The band fell silent, and the audience, confused and murmuring, watched as you raised a hand to signal the end of the concert.
“I want to meet three people,” you announced, your voice echoing through the venue. “Backstage. Now.”
The crowd erupted in whispers, confused but curious. The three hedgehogs were just as surprised, but they didn’t hesitate. Guided by a mix of disbelief and anticipation, they made their way backstage.
Once inside the privacy of your room, the atmosphere grew heavier. You leaned against the back of a lavish chair, your sun-like eyes gleaming with amusement as you looked over the three hedgehogs before you. For years, they had believed you were dead. The memory of that night, the blood, the chaos—it had been seared into their minds. And now here you stood, alive, and more powerful than ever.
A sneering smile curled at your lips as you crossed your arms, eyes flicking between them. “You really thought I was dead, huh?” You chuckled darkly. “You have no idea.”
Sonic’s fists clenched at his sides, confusion and shock flashing in his emerald eyes. “You died. We saw it happen. How… how are you standing here like nothing happened?”
Silver was quieter, still processing, while Shadow’s sharp gaze hadn’t left your face, his body rigid with tension as he waited for an explanation.
You straightened up, pushing off the chair and taking a slow step forward, your voice turning cold and calculated. “It was all a lie. Every single bit of it. I faked my death that night on stage.”
The silence that followed was suffocating. None of them spoke for a long moment, the weight of your words hanging in the air.
“Why?” Shadow asked, his voice low, almost growling. His red eyes were locked onto yours, demanding an answer.
You smiled again, this time more bitter than amused. “Because I had to. That night, when those bullets hit me, I realized something. My voice… it wasn’t just a talent. It was a weapon. A power. And I didn’t understand how to control it.” You took a deep breath, letting the gravity of your words sink in. “Every song I sang, every note I hit, could change the world around me. If I sang a sad song, the people listening would become depressed. If I sang something violent…”
Sonic flinched at the memory, recalling how the audience had descended into chaos after you were shot.
“I could have caused a disaster,” you continued, pacing slowly as you spoke. “That’s what was happening the night I ‘died.’ The bullets, the riot—it wasn’t just bad luck. It was me. My voice made it happen. I sang a violent song, and it became reality.”
Silver’s eyes widened, piecing things together. “So… you faked your death to stop it? To stop hurting people?”
You nodded. “Yes. After that night, I knew I wasn’t safe to be around anyone. My powers were too unstable, too dangerous. I couldn’t risk more people getting hurt. So I disappeared. For ten years, I’ve been hiding, working on controlling my abilities, on recreating them in a way that I can harness them—without all the chaos.”
Sonic’s face was twisted with a mix of emotions, hurt and anger mixing together. “Why didn’t you tell us? We could’ve helped you. We thought you were gone forever!”
You looked away for a moment, guilt flickering across your features before hardening again. “Because I didn’t need your help. I needed time. Alone. You wouldn’t have understood what I was trying to do. I had to figure it out on my own.”
Shadow, silent until now, stepped forward, his voice steely. “And now? What’s changed? You’ve revealed yourself again. Why?”
Your lips curled into a dark smile once more, your red eyes glowing as you met his gaze. “Because I’ve perfected it. I’ve mastered my voice. I’ve become more powerful than ever before. And now… it’s time for me to reclaim the world I left behind. I’m not the same popstar you used to protect. I’m something more.”
Silver frowned, his voice quiet but filled with concern. “But what about the danger? What if it happens again?”
You tilted your head slightly, your smile fading as you looked at him. “That’s the thing, Silver. It won’t happen again. Because now, I’m in control. I can decide who lives, who loves, who fights… and who dies.”
The room fell silent again, the weight of your words sinking in. You were no longer the person they once knew. You were something far more dangerous—and far more powerful.

THINKING ABOUT...
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈•゚。𝒂/𝒏: i've been listening to espresso on repeat these days and it's so denji coded i just had to write this.
Tumblr media
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who has a massive crush on you, his favourite singer. he learns all your songs and choreographies, the tv in his room stuck on a music programme just in case your music videos are played so he can watch you.
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who keeps up with the latest news about you– the trips you take and fan meetings you host, the dramas you're involved in and knows the dates of your upcoming concerts by heart. he knows he could never afford going to one, but he still memorizes them
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who thinks about you day and night. he's completely smitten with you, dreaming about meeting you one day and asking for your autograph. you'd give it to him, right? of course you would, you were the sweetest girl ever
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 whose heart skips a beat when he spots you inside a café, prettily seated at a table as you scroll on your phone and sip from your cup. he rushes inside the coffee shop, brimming with anticipation as he comes up to your table. he doesn't spare you the generic "god i can't believe it's you. i'm like your biggest fan" talk before asking for an autograph
you've been through this before a thousand times, it's a given when you're a popular idol. still, there's something about this guy that's just adorable. he's so flustered, stumbling over his words and toying with the end of his black tie. you ask him for something to write on and he checks his pockets, his pretty face dropping when he realizes he doesn't have any paper on him. so you simply sign your autograph on a napkin you find on the table.
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊, who's quite literally about to faint when you pass him the folded napkin with a wide smile on your face. his fingers brush against yours in the process, his heart beating ten times faster. half afraid he's going to make a fool of himself if he stays any longer, he mutters a thank you and bows, rushing out of the café. once outside, he eventually regains his composure and unfolds the napkin, his eyes shooting open when he sees you didn't only give him your autograph, but also your number. was he actually real? nah, he must be dreaming, right?
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who waits a few hours before texting you. he doesn't want to seem too desperate (though he is). he waits all day by his phone, checking it every five minutes just in case he missed the notification sound. when you text him back he's thrilled, grinning from ear to ear like a lovesick idiot
thought you gave me a false number for a second haha
aww, you can't possibly think i'm that cruel
course not, you're so nice, really. can we meet one day? i mean, i'd like it if you're down for it. i don't mean to intrude though
well, i didn't give you my number for nothing. are you free tomorrow?♡
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊, who actually thinks he's dreaming. he's getting a date with his favourite idol, it feel so surreal. still, he makes sure to put on the nicest clothes on to impress you and ends up arriving at your meeting spot half an hour earlier.
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who somehow manages to fall head over heels for you after just one date. you were even nicer in person, so caring and sweet and attentive– surprisingly normal in the best was possible. he knows he's a bit awkward, gushing over how much he loves your music and how lucky he is to be able to meet you irl but you don't mind it. if anything, you find his behaviour adorable.
by the end of the date you have him wrapped around your finger. he walks you home, his hand loosely holding yours, thumb caressing the back of your hand. denji hopes you didn't notice how sweaty his palm is, how nervous he is. god, you were driving him crazy
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who swallows the lump in his throat, shyly looking down at his shoes when you ask him for a goodbye kiss once you get in from of your apartment building. for a moment he thinks you're joking, but it soon becomes apparent that you're dead serious. hesitantly wrapping an arm around your lower back, he presses his lips against yours.
you taste like strawberry chapstick and he loves it, eagerly deepening the kiss, his hands gripping your waist in a desperate attempt to keep himself in check. but you can feel his growing bulge pressing against your navel when he pulls you closer.
he's a blushing mess after you break the kiss and wish him goodnight, thanking him for the date before you disappear inside your apartment complex.
hey there pretty boy. did you get home?
yea, all safe and sound
good, good. thanks again for today. i had such a great time. can't wait to see you again♡♡
totally, me too. just let me know when you're free
𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who's promoted to boyfriend level after a few more dates. he truly can't believe his luck, it feels like all his dreams came true– he accompanies you to all your events, meeting your friends on weekends and going on city get-aways to places he never dreamt of visiting. all that aside, he loves you so much. just being around you makes him feel like the happiest man alive.
he's never had a relationship before so it was all so new to him. he wasn't used to being so loved either so now that he was finally getting the affection he always craved, he was starting to feel that normality he's always wished for. in just a matter of months, he had the life of his dreams. and he shared it with the girl of his dreams.

Hils Watches Lovely Runner - Ep 4
Tumblr media
HE SAVED HER AFTER THE CAR ACCIDENT I KNEW IT!
Tumblr media
AND HE KNEW WHO SHE WAS WHEN THEY MET ON THE BRIDGE! Okay, that I did not see coming.
This is clearly going to be an excessive capslock episode I'm very sorry.
Tumblr media
This whole scene hits different now that you know that he's been in love with her since he was in school, and that she's the reason he likes those sweets in the first place. I love this so much!
Tumblr media
WAIT THAT'S JONGHO SINGING! OMG I know the song but I totally forgot it was from this drama. I am such a bad Atiny. Has this song played before and I just haven't noticed?
Tumblr media
I am going to say that I'm going to be a bit annoyed if it turned out someone pushed him or something. It'd feel almost like saying 'we can't have a romantic lead who suffers from depression' or something like that. But I shall reserve judgement until we see how it plays out. I mean stuff keeps changing because of the time travel stuff anyway. Just a thought I had was all.
Tumblr media
I understand the logic of trying to exactly recreate the situation that sent her back into the past last time but I'm not sure lying in a river in the middle of the night was part of the magic
Tumblr media
Calling it now this dude killed him because Sunjae wanted to retire. I have absolutely no foundation for this theory beyond knowledge of drama tropes but that's what I think
Tumblr media
I know that you're grieving for your best friend but why would you say something cryptic like this and then just hang up without explaining when she asks what you mean
Tumblr media
Ah, the magic only works at midnight! That makes sense. As much as anything to do with magic makes sense. I still don't understand what caused her to come back to 2023 in the first place though. Is it because Sunjae told her he loves her even if she didn't hear it?
Tumblr media
Oh no she remembers what happened while she was back in 2023 including rejecting Sunjae and hitting him with her bag. OH NO.
Tumblr media
This poor boy though. The girl he likes has what seems like a total personality change, tells him to get lost, and then a week later she's back to the way she was again.
Tumblr media
Oh, yeah, him. Love him calling her 'girlfriend' rather than her name just because Sunjae is standing right there
Tumblr media
When you find out your 19 year old past self is totally cringe
Tumblr media
He's handling the whole personality switch thing far better than Sunjae is
Tumblr media
This is so funny I thought for sure she was going to be the one who inspired him to become a singer and instead she's doing whatever she can to make sure he doesn't become an idol to protect him.
Tumblr media
Of course there's a bully. There's always a bully. He can be friends with the bitchy girl who hates Im Sol.
Tumblr media
Oh, punch him!
Tumblr media
Holy fuck she just headbutted him before Sunjae could even land a punch. I love her so much.
Tumblr media
Ah, I see. She saved him from his bully and now he's going to save her from hers
Tumblr media
Scrap that she saved herself because she's awesome
Tumblr media
Oh that's so smart she yelled a bunch of stuff about the future so time froze and she could sneak past Sunjae's dad
Tumblr media
I love that even though she knows Sunjae as a friend now she still goes into fangirl mode sometimes. It's so cute.
Tumblr media
Really can't relate to what a heavy sleeper she is. This is, what, the second or third time she's been asleep while he's been there and hasn't woken up at all. I'd have been awake as soon as he opened the bedroom door.
Tumblr media
God he's so adorable. Look at him comparing their hand sizes.
Tumblr media
The only time he ever looks happy now that he can't swim is when he's with her. I'm fine. I'm definitely not crying.
Tumblr media
So she gave him the advice that he gave her. Does that mean he only knew to say it to her because said it to him in the first place? My head hurts 😂
Tumblr media
I mean they can. You just can't be friends with this particular girl because you're in love with her
Tumblr media
This is honestly making all the cringe stuff I did as a teen seem totally sane and normal
Tumblr media
Okay, what's with the sus taxi that was going to stop and then pulled away when the driver saw that Im Sol wasn't alone?
Tumblr media
He's all wet again. And, hey, she's remembered that he was the one who saved her after her accident

Some haters say TZP can't act but do they want to see an example of an actor bombing a character and having iffy chemistry with their co-star? Harry Styles in Don't Worry Darling. And I really like Harry; he excelled in My Policeman and Dunkirk, so I don't know what the hell happened in the Don't Worry Darling set, but every scene he had with Florence Pugh, you could see how she was the one leading and there was no equal footing. As in, Florence was relying on herself to carry all those scenes of them together instead of being a 2-way situation or Harry playing off of Florence and vice versa. With RWRB, there was NEVER a moment when Taylor and Nick were not bouncing off each other's chemistry or where the scene lacked Taylor's presence, if that makes sense. When Taylor is on screen, I never felt like he was disappearing into the background or not there. That's how I know. And this comes from someone who watched RWRB completely unbiased, with no idea of the plot, the book and who Taylor or Nick were at the time.
I would usually not share an ask that starts with "haters say" even if it’s to tell how wrong they are because I’m not a big fan of bringing any kind of spotlight to any kind of hate but I actually like the conversation you’re starting here (or you’ve bravely started days ago in my inbox) so I’m going to make an exception.
I like two things about what you said: one, how it shows how different perception of a performance can be from one person to another and two, how decisive a co-star can be in a performance.
I actually not agree with you on DWD but we need a bit of context. I’m not really a fan of Harry. I don’t hate the guy, I think Sign of the Times is an absolute masterpiece and I’m aware of his existence but I haven’t any particular feelings about him. I’ve seen all the three movies and my opinion of his three performances are actually the same. He was good enough not to noticeable. In my opinion while watching a movie, we mostly notice performances falling in the extremes - very good or very bad. All the in middle performances are ok as long as they blend into the rest of the movie. And Harry was always that for me. I don’t remember Dunkirk that much but I have vivid memories of My Policeman and DWD so yeah. What needs more context is how he was good enough opposite to who. I haven't seen David Dawson in anything else but he stole my heart with this performance and it so blatantly obviously that he’s an amazing actor. Florence Pugh is publicly among the most talented actress (and actor)s of her generation so of course she shined the brightest in this movie. So yeah, even if, like you said, it's normal that there is no equal footing, to be even just "good enough" opposite David Dawson and Florence Pugh when you’re not an actor yourself is already a great performance for me. And when I say when "when you’re not an actor" it’s not to put people in boxes and saying actors shouldn’t sing and singers shouldn’t act. But in the case of Harry, being on stage, singing and performing, is very obviously his fucking thing. He’s stellar at it at that’s his main job. So being even half-good as anything else is already remarkable. It reminds me of Lady Gaga actually. While watching A Star is Born, I was like *yeah, she’s a good actress* right until the moment she starts to sing and perform and my brain corrected itself by thinking *she makes a good actress but she’s actually this, whatever this is. It’s the thing she was born to do*. A switch I never had in House of Gucci, where she was just a good actress. But once again, I’m going off topic again :).
While writing, I’m actually trying to understand why Harry in DWD didn’t work for you. I’m not saying I’m right and you’re wrong, I’m just trying to look at things from your perspective. Maybe I would need another watch to get it (but I probably won’t do it so I’ll never know). But knowing all the drama that has surrounded the shooting of that movie, maybe you’re the one closest to an actual form of truth. If such things exist about art and acting performances. (it doesn't)
Which brings us to Taylor and Nick. I had never thought about it like that but you make a lot of sense. Nowhere in the movie feels like one outshine the other. Which added to the efficience of the movie and was probably helped by their off screen chemistry. And I’ve also watched it unbiased and with the same feeling at the end so i'm going to take the opportunity to say we're absolutely right 🤝😁😁😁
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me (and all of us) 💜

What do you think of Taylor getting all the hate? I think this is the first time in a long time an album announcement wasn't received well. People are usually neutral towards her even if they don't like her music. Maybe it's because she has been oversaturated she has been constantly releasing albums since 2022, and then the eras tour and break up drama what do you think?
I ended up writing a weird, tangential ramble, so in short, to answer your question: I think it is just oversaturation. She's sort of becoming a lightning rod for people to express all their frustrations with the world, which might be legitimate grievances and might even be fairly related to her (like say jet emissions), but her presence in pop culture just leads to her continuously being the vehicle to have these serious conversations, if that makes sense. Like, I wish she switched to renewable kerosene (which is a thing, look it up! though I imagine it may not be available at most airports) but it serves no one to center a single rich singer-songwriter in the discussion surrounding climate change and the energy transition. (and also people continuously dismiss her security concerns when her houses are like REGULARLY broken into.)
It's difficult not to read most of the backlash as a kneejerk reaction (and to be clear there IS valid criticism), which is also why I try not to give it too much headspace. It's not what I'm here for.
My additonal rambling below the cut (please don't expect more of these lol):
(there's some repetition here cause I actually wrote this bit first)
I have opinions on most Taylor-related news stories, but I find interacting with the haters as well as the fandom tiring in anything larger than small doses (I only follow a handful of swifties and most of them are mutuals).
That being said: I actually really understand the general "Taylor-fatigue" — as you said, she is everywhere these days — and I also think there are things that are totally fair to criticize about her (even hate her for I guess, I can't choose how people feel). But it's also hard to ignore the dehumanization she's subjected to on the daily (like the idea that her using her jet too much gives people the right to create an app to track her current location – as if her location is relevant to the amount of emissions she's caused). But I guess that's just the price you pay for the type of success she's gained. I also think one can't totally blame her. Yes, she's touring a lot and putting out tons of music but that's her job!! And I love these things and WANT more of them!! It doesn't to me seem reasonable to expect her not to attend football games to support her boyfriend just because people can't stop filming her. Being annoyed by how she's everywhere is normal, but projecting all that annoyance back onto her, leading to disproportionate criticism of everything she does: that's on everyone. I don't know if it's avoidable at this point, I just wish people interacted with her in a more self-aware way.
Also, regarding people finding the vibe of the next album cringe: again, I don't have an influence on how people feel about art lol, but I do find that some of the criticism seems to be assuming it is entirely serious, without a hint of irony, and frankly I find that silly, given Taylor's entire body of work. (There was a time when people took Look What You Made Me Do 100% at face value and made fun of it for that! but oh well, bunch of people missed the nuance of Anti-Hero. Anyways.)
Sorry, I don't actually want to get into a discussion about the minutiae of everything everyone says about her. Like, I don't want to feel obligated to provide my take on every single thing that she does or happens to her, whether I support her or don't support her in that particular instance. That is too much work in such an active fandom.

Preaching From The Pulpit Words: Roy Wilkinson, Photographer: Karl Lang Taken from Sounds, 27 June 1987 Transcript: Acrylic Afternoons
Sheffield popsters Pulp are creating a haunting music which is virtually without peer in the Britain of 1987. We meet them on the eve of the release of their new LP 'Freaks'.
The album's called 'Freaks', for as the opening line proclaims, "Nature sometimes makes mistakes". There they are over there, and if you must avert your eyes, don't cover your ears because Pulp have a qualification for you. "These freaks we're talking about, they're just normal people gone a bit wrong. It's sad but don't bother crying: they still eat and drink and watch TV just like anyone else. And they smoke."
The freaks who populate this record's "ten stories about power, claustrophobia, suffocation and holding hands" are resolutely ordinary, characters you're far more likely to see through the front room windows than down at the fairground. In fact, far from being Pulp fictions, these blighted souls are very real: a lot of them play in the band, and if that sounds funny then that's alright, because Pulp are comic band. I know this because their singer and lyricist Jarvis Cocker told me: "A lot of our songs deal with fairly mundane things which are a bit over dramatised - it's a bit like a comic."
As well as being a bit like a comic, Pulp are a bit like a mixture of slapstick comedy and some understated macabre novels. I know this because I read it in a magazine. Then again, you should never believe what you read and in the light of Jarvis' claim that his namesake Joe once installed a gas fire at his house, it's difficult to know whether to believe him. The one thing you can safely say about Pulp is that they are out on a limb, one that may or may not be reconnected to a body with seven more and two heads.
Pulp are a Sheffield band and 'Freaks' is their second album, following 1983's long forgotten 'It' and a handful of singles, and houses their current 45, 'Master Of The Universe'. Pulp's core of Cocker and violinist/guitarist Russell Senior are creating a haunting music which is virtually without peer in the Britain of 1987, their nearest relatives being The Band Of Holy Joy. The similarities come with the way both have fostered a host of neglected styles (waltzes to crooning balladry), transmuted mundanity into a grotesque, projected an overriding mood of melancholy and drawn on a wealth of literary references.
Pulp have been compared to anything from Brecht to author Ian McEwan to Mills & Boon. Along with books they've been juxtaposed with buffoons, a pre-AIDS epidemic of jesters that includes Leslie Crowther, Peter Glaze and Charles Hawtrey. It's a curse the band have mixed feelings about. Jarvis: "All those references make us seem a bit contrived when hopefully it's quite raw, getting at emotional nerve endings. It's not as if we go, 'let's do a song about the latest novel we've read'. I don't mind people comparing us to Ian McEwan because I like his stuff (psycho sex dramas) but when someone says Charles Hawtrey (Carry On's bespectacled, ineffectual butt), you don't think 'cheers pal!'." Russell: "In Sheffield we get more 16-year-old kids at our concerts than we do post graduates in Cabaret Voltaire studies."
Pulp songs are direct, stripping emotions down to a naked unsightliness and then coating them with a pervading sense of gloom. "I've never been a very carefree adolescent," says Jarvis. "I wouldn't go out with me if I were you. All those types of songs are basically about one girl who I went out with and unfortunately it went from being quite an innocent thing to being a very traumatic thing without either of us knowing why. The freaks thing is like getting divorced from the rest of the world through something like that relationship. The other reason we called it 'Freaks' was because we always get called freaks, the escape party from One Flew Over A Cuckoo's Nest, stuff like that. When we play live, everybody dwells on the fact that I'm thin with specs, he (Russell) looks like Count Dracula, Candida (keyboards) although she's 23 looks 14, while Pete (Bass) looks like a football hooligan. We were always getting called freaks so we thought let's call the LP 'Freaks' just to... put two fingers up."
As far as Jarvis is concerned he's not an eccentric. Throughout our conversation he maintained a slightly resigned blank faced jocularity but keeps his speech prosaically direct, miles away from the contrivance that Pulp's press might lead you to expect of this 23-year-old with his long limbs and disgusting brown crimplene 'slacks' which terminate six inches short of his ankles: as does Russell, a slight man of 26 with a ghastly pallor and a down at heel clerkish air.
Nonetheless this pair's conversation does dispel a lot of Pulpish preconceptions. It does, that is, until you ask them what they do in their spare time. It seems that this pair have a sideline which is Dickensian enough to fit in with their public image. Get down on that Davenport for these two Arthur Negus' of rock are heavily into... antiques. "Antiques Roadshow is our favourite programme," says Russell. "Our ambition is to see one of our records on there. If you want any 50's art deco then Jarvis is your man. I like Italian 17th century paintings but I haven't been able to get hold of anything yet. That's what I'd eventually like to deal in because I like beautiful things. At the moment I can only afford ugly things."
Frustrated sensualists priced outside paradise, that's Pulp for you.

Dear Marte, I kinda need to defend Louis when it comes to his live shows. I don´t know how often do you attend concerts but as a person who always loved way too many bands and going to their shows is basically my hobby and how I spice up my life, I don´t expect that Louis will try to make his every show a stand-up comedy just like H does because that´s what normal musicians/bands do - they go to stage, play 3 songs, say some words to warmup the crowd and then they play more songs.
This year I saw Lizzo (I´m a huge fan of hers no matter if she´s linked to H or the drama what´s happening to her now) and she also had this "comedy" sequence and I just found it really unnecessary and kinda felt like she´s doing it because she saw it at H´s shows. And same with Niall, who I saw last month at festival, fans brought signs and he read some and I was like "why is everyone copying H and do this at their shows too?". Having said that I went to too many shows mostly by indie/alternative rock bands so far and I never had this comedy experience because nobody do it because nobody need to do it. At so yes, when we compare those shows to H´s, yes they are boring and same every other show and the difference is mostly how lound and engaged is the crowd and the mood of the singer/frontman of the band.
I would also like to add that it´s the only 2nd solo tour for him and IMO it´s too soon for him to be really really comfortable with his stage presentance. Musicians always evolve when they get more and more experience every tour and become comfortable and sure with their performance. So I would give Louis more time to evolve.
I´m gonna see him twice next month and I´m excited because I´m just coming to see him and hear his songs live. And I really don´t expect anything else that good sound, his voice and the crowd being nice. Any maybe some nice outfit but don´t know when yesterday was like the peak with his cutie pink rabbit hahaha
Hi, anon!
Sorry, i wasn't trying to take anything away from you all who enjoy his shows. That wasn't my intention. I love that you enjoy them! Get excited! That's the goal. I think i would be too if i went to one. I'm not sure if i'd feel the same excitement if i went to several. But as someone who follows them from home, the shine has worn off a bit.
I've been to my fair share of concerts. My take away is that if the music is good enough, and their general stage presence and emotional delivery is there, you don’t need the artist to do other forms of entertainment. The music is enough. But i have to say i do love a bit of banter beween band mates, heckling from the audience and funny fan interactions. I love an anecdote or artists who introduce their songs by talking about how they were written or what inspired them to write it. But don't repeat it word after word every single show. That's boring. Make every show special. Spice it up. I can do without the gender reveals, guitar smashing, stage drinking or kissing fans.
I think the best thing about Louis' shows are the fan projects or initiatives. Rainbow projects, rainbow flags and the spontaneous conga lines in the pit. So much of it got nothing to do with Louis, but all to do with the common effort the louies make to create a safe and happy atmosphere. I'm pretty sure he could stand on stage wearing a garbage bag singing bah bah black sheep(s), and fandom would make the show and fan experience worth the while for us fans either way. It sometimes feels more like a big louie party, where louis is the dj.
I agree that we need to let him have time to grow, but considering he was also touring with 1d, he's a touring veteran. He's gotten bolder and more confident, but it's slow going and i guess i'm impatient for him to give us something more.

Week ending: 18th February
Well, we've got three returning artists this week, each following up their previous success with a predictably similar-sounding track, capitalising on the initial hits' popularity. Seriously, if you look at who the artists are this week, you can probably predict my verdict already - the trajectory's not that hard to guess.
Pretty Blue Eyes - Craig Douglas (peaked at Number 4)
Last time Craig graced our humble blog, he was looking back nostalgically on his youthful 16-year old innocence - aged only 17. I didn't majorly love that song, but it was interesting to see him trying for some sort of twist. This song feels like it's trying to tap into that same sort of youthful innocence, without anything "clever" about it. It's just a straightforwardly cute cover of an originally American song about young love, and it's... fine, I guess? Not something I'm gonna be coming back to over and over, but it's okay, much like his last outing was.
We start with a vaguely Latin rhythm, picked out on guitar. It's not prominent enough to make the song feel like a Latin track, or anything, but it's just off-kilter enough to give the whole track a bit of oomph, keeping things light. Add in what sounds like a tambourine and some strings in the background, plus some echoey, spritely ooohs from the backing singers, and you've got something that sounds nimble and airy, tripping along in a suitably jolly fashion.
It maybe feels a bit lightweight, but that's fine - the lyrics aren't exactly up to much either. Instead, we've got lyrics about a pretty girl moving in next door to Craig. Naturally, he immediately falls in love, relating how he saw you from my window / My heart skipped a beat. The other guys in the neighbourhood agree, and so Craig decides that he's gonna sit by your doorstep / So that we can meet. Which, actually, the more I think about it, is real creepy. And it only gets worse as Craig begs, pretty blue eyes, please come out today / So I can tell you what I have to say / That I love you, pretty blue eyes. Classic romance, right there. You see a girl through the window. You don't speak to the girl. You don't even know her name, you just reduce her to a pair of eyes. You hang round her doorstep to profess your love to her. You write a whole song about her. You know, normal teen romance things.
Yeah, the more I listen to this one, the less I think it's cute, despite the fun, fluffy sound. Sorry, Craig. Pick a less creepy song to cover, next time.
On a Slow Boat to China - Emile Ford and the Checkmates (3)
Okay, so another artist we've seen before. I'm feeling good about this one. After all, I quite liked Emile's last single, What Do You Want to Make Those Eyes at Me For? There was a confidence to it, a swagger that I enjoyed. There were some questionable lyrics, by modern standards, but that aside, I came away with quite a favourable impression of Emile. And fortunately, he seems to be trying the same thing here, updating an old pre-rock and roll American standard in a new, doo-wop style.
As such, you we start with electric guitar, some snappy drums and a liberal helping of doo doo do-do-do backing. So far, so good. And then Emile comes in on the top, with some Elvis-style hiccups and hitches, but with a delivery that's otherwise straight out of a swing song, with lots of vocal showboating, as Emile sings about how I'd love to get you on a slow boat to China / All to myself alone. So, it's about Emile wanting some alone time with a special somebody. Of course, some drama then creeps in with lines about how he longs to leave all your lovers weeping on the faraway shore, and how he dreams of being out on the briny, with a moon big and shiny / Melting your heart of stone. The image is one of some sort of femme fatale, men falling at her feet, but coldly disintersted in Emile - until she's stuck on a slow, slow boat, alone with him. The possibilities are tantalising, like the set-up for a classic romantic comedy that I'd absolutely watch the hell out of.
I think I also appreciate the slightly odd, outdated specificity of it all, the fact that it's not just "I'd like to get you alone", but "I'd like to be trapped alone with you for the entirety of a particularly long boat trip to China". The song was written in 1948, when slow boats to China were, presumably, more of a thing, one has to assume - indeed, the original songwriter, Frank Loesser, is on record saying he picked a "slow boat to China" because it was the longest way of travelling anywhere that he could think of. It was also, apparently, a saying in poker circles, something you said not about a love interest, but about somebody who reliably kept losing. I presume the idea there was that you wanted to keep winning money off them? In any case, Loesser's using it in a much more literal fashion - at least I assume that Emile's not after his lady love's money. Though that would add a nice bit of extra drama to it all.
Actually, I think that's the film I want to see - Emile as a con artist who traps them both on a boat with the goal of seducing his disdainful but fabulously rich love interest, only to actually fall for her while they're at sea. And hey, the very next song could also feature, by the look of things...
Beyond the Sea - Bobby Darin (8)
You know this song. A cover of a French song, La mer, by Charles Trenet, it's instantly recognisable, even just from its intro, with its walking bass, and the back and forth between tinkling piano and muted trumpets, and once Bobby comes in, you know exactly what song you're listening to; it's the one that starts somewhere, beyond the sea...
I think I first heard this song in the credits to Finding Nemo. And honestly, I cant think of a better song for it. Because Bobby's version, as it stands, is a love song, and one that more particularly is about happy endings, and about being away from your love, but being certain that you're going to reunite. Hence lines about how my lover stands on golden sands, watching the ships coming in, and about how I know beyond a doubt / My heart will lead me there soon. And once he gets there, we'll kiss just as before / Happy we'll be beyond the sea / And never again I'll go sailing. It's like the reverse of all those "my lover has gone off to see and I might never see him again" songs, a sort of reassuring reminder that your love will come back, some day, that they probably miss you just as much as you miss them. It's lovely, and there's a warm, carefree feel to it all - and you can almost see the golden-toned montage playing over the top, the shots of Bobby's ship docking, of a pair of weary but happy eyes scanning the disembarking crew members, then feet running, arms embracing, and a kiss that blocks out the setting sun, seagulls crying overhead as they kiss. It's a big, cinematic moment, is what I'm saying, and I like it a lot.
It is interesting, though, because all these elements have basically been introduced by the song's translator, one Jack Lawrence. The original, written by Charles Trenet, is literally just about the sea. It was inspired by a train ride Charles took between Montpellier and Perpignan in the south of France, and I have to say, there's already a beauty to its description of the glimpses he got of the sea, with talk of it dancing along the shore, the waves transformed into white sheep, with the sea itself acting as their infinite azure shepherdess. We see flashes of reeds, of seagulls and of rusty tin shacks. And all of this has clearly had a profound impact on Charles, as with a love song, the sea has cradled my heart my whole life long. It's very pretty, and it's coming from a real tradition of poetic chanson songwriting that's often quite hard to translate properly - my approximations above don't really do it justice. So yeah, very French. I'm not shocked that the translator turned it into a love song, instead of trying to keep all that.
And as a love song, it's effective. Not just because of the cute "happy ending" vibes of it all, but also because of the performance Bobby manages to pull off, all warmth and longing, in exactly the same jazzy swing style that he adopted for his last hit, Mack the Knife. In many ways, this song sounds very similar to that one, actually, up to and including the brassy stabs that you've got throughout, the propulsive drums that kick in explosively around the 2 minute mark, and the little vocal twists and tics that Bobby uses to spice it up, all these little aha and ow interjections. He tones these down a bit - you simply don't need such a menacing energy when singing about heartwarming reunions with your love as you do when singing about a murderer skulking around 1800s London - but they're still a notable part of what drives the song.
Bobby's firmly into his "I do proper, adult music" phase, now, and I have to say, it's a good fit for him - a transition into more mature, classier music than, say, Splish Splash. Not that there was anything wrong with Splish Splash. But there's something a bit classier about this and Mack the Knife. It's a cut above your standard pop writing, and you get the sense that Bobby is enjoying getting his teeth into it.
I didn't hate any of our three songs, this week, but there was a definite trend line as I listened - while I didn't mind Craig, he pales next to Emile, who in turn simply isn't a patch on Bobby. I feel a bit bad for Emile, actually, because any other week he'd have certainly won this one. But hey, that's just how it works sometimes.
Favourite song of the bunch: Beyond the Sea

okay, now time to speak up about the Chappell Roan controversy.
if u don't know what's been going on, i'll tell u: basically popular singer Chappell Roan has posted many statements and opinions on her thoughts about how her fans treat her. she basically has said by that fans asking her for photos and autographs even if it's asked politely is an "assault and abuse"
here are the 2 videos regarding this drama(i had to clip the 2 videos together so they would fit)
if u feel to tired or don't want to watch the videos, i'll explain in the video Chappell says:
"I need you to answer questions, just answer my questions for a second. If you saw a random woman on the street, would you yell at her from the car window? Would you harass her in public? Would you go up to a random lady and say 'Can i get a photo with you?', and she's like no what the fuck, and then you get mad at this random lady. Um, would you be offended if she says no to your time because she has her own time? Would you-, would you stalk her family? Would you follow her around? Would you try to dissect her life and bully her online? This lady you don't know um and she doesn't know you at all …would you assume that she's a good person, assume she's a bad person… would you assume everything you read about her online is true? I'm a random bitch, you're a random bitch. Just think about that for a second okay?
I don't care that abuse and harassment, stalking whatever is a normal thing to do to people who are um famous or a little famous whatever. I don't care that it's normal, i don't care that this crazy type of behavior comes along with the job. The career field i've chosen, that does not make it okay. That doesn't make it normal. I don't- doesn't mean i want it, doesn't mean that i like it. I don't want whatever the fuck you think. You're supposed to be entitled to whenever you see a celebrity. I don't give a fuck if you think it's selfish of me to say no for a photo or for your time or for a hug. That's not normal that's weird. It's weird how people think that you know a person just 'cause you see them online and you listen to the art the make that's fucking weird. I'm allowed to say no to creepy behavior okay?"
okay so now that i am done revealing Chappell's full statement on what she thinks of her fans let's break it down into what i think of the situation and make truth out of it. so Chappell starts of by asking us(her fans) if we saw a random woman on the street, would we yell at her from our car, would we harass her, would we ask her for a photo, etc. first of all no, i would not ask a random person for a photo or definitely not yell out of my car window at them. especially not the last part considering i have RESPECT for celebrities and people and i think it's very RUDE to YELL at someone from your car window, me personally i would never yell at anyone, let alone a celebrity, if anything i would be embarrassed and ashamed. now secondly, asking for photos, no i would not ask a random person for a photo, that's just weird like they're some RANDOM person walking the street. But a celebrity is different, especially you Chappell. you are no RANDOM PERSON, you are a very popular singer-songwriter who has become famous over ur catchy songs. if you can't handle someone asking you POLITELY for a photo then that's just weird and kinda dumb in my opinion. now if they're BOMBARDING you and FOLLOWING YOU AROUND like the PAPARAZZI, yes that's weird and i wouldn't do that either. if i politely asked for a photo of one of my fav celebrities and they said 'no' i would be fine with it. but now the reason why you're getting backlash and heat for saying no is becuz of the way you stated how u said no to ur fans. u said the response "no what the fuck?". okay now see that's a valid reason to be offended because saying no isn't a problem it's the fact that you said "what the fuck" after as if they are being weird by simply asking u for a photo. if someone said that to me i would be offended becuz of their rude tone of response and how they said no. all u have to say is "no, sorry." or "no, sorry i have things to do." u shouldn't say "no, what the fuck" like girl OBVIOUSLY ur gonna get heat and backlash for saying that becuz it sounds RUDE. now the stalking, yes, creepy stalker fans are weird, absurd, and absolutely the most rude and creepy people on the planet and i do not support stalking at all. yes, it's weird to follow people around for photos and constantly beg them for photos and autographs. BUT, if it's just a normal fan who's being polite about asking for a photo or autograph, there is absolutely NO reason why u should be responding that way. u also stated that u don't care that this is the job u chose and that this is what comes with the job. well Chappell, u kinda have to deal with that. every smart and living person on this planet knows that if u start making catchy music and albums, ur gonna become famous and develop fans all over the world. u need to start realizing that this kind of stuff is expected and beyond normalized within the fame community. ur gonna have way worse than nice fans. ur also gonna have rude fans, stalkers, creeps, pedoph1les, haters, exes everyone around the world is gonna have some sort of problem or obsession or love for u. the job u chose is not working at McDonald's or something, it's a job where u sing and perform songs all over the world in front of millions of people. yes it's rude to assume someone is rude or nice based off of one conversation, but Chappell u've clearly shown ur fans that ur not at all used to being famous and in fact u seem against it. ur fans are mad and lashing out becuz u are acting like ur just a random girl who isn't a huge popstar, u can't act like that in Hollywood or in the fame industry. u will and u currently are being cancelled by a bunch of people and this is gonna continue to happen if u keep acting this way towards people. u also claimed that fans simply asking for photos is abuse and harassment? that does not make ANY sense, that is the most ridiculous and stupidest shit i've ever heard. if someone is talking rude about u and shit, that's verbal abuse, if someone's trying to hit u or touch u in an inappropriate way, that's physical abuse but in NO WAY is a(continued)

singer reader "slut"! x tom blyth??

Tumblr media
A/N I'M SO OBSESSED WITH TOM THAT I DON'T THINK IT IS HEALTHY ANYMORE.
PAIRING Tom Blyth x Singer!Fem!Reader
TW/TAGS Established relationship, fluff, use of the word "slut".
SUMMARY Just Tom being the gentlemanly boyfriend that only he can be.
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED | MASTERLIST
You couldn't remember the last time you had felt so comfortable, loved and in love with someone.
All your relationships before Tom had been somewhat disastrous but with him everything seemed to flow like water.
Like you two were meant to be.
Of course, every relationship cannot be harmonious without some drama.
At least not when it comes to a couple that everyone had their eyes on.
Those were some of the comments that you could read in the publications that Tom made with you in them.
You tried not to let it affect you but you just couldn't stop them from getting into your head.
'She is only with him because of his fame.' 'Surely she doesn't even love him.' 'She's such a hypocrite.' 'Slut.'
SONG "Slut!" by Taylor Swift.
Everyone wanted him, that was your crime.
REQUESTS ARE OPEN | MASTERLIST
"Hey honey, I'm here." you heard Tom's voice announce as he entered the front door of your two's shared apartment. "Here you are." He said as he entered your room and seeing that you didn't receive him like you normally did, he walked towards you on the bed. "What's happening?" He frowned, looking at you.
“Nothing it's just,” you sighed, turning off the phone and tossing it aside. "Did you see the comments on your post?" you asked, taking his hand and playing with the ring you had bought him for his birthday and had never seen him take it off.
"No, why?" He denied and you looked into his eyes, seeing that he genuinely didn't know what you were talking about.
You took your phone back and opened the comments section of the post, you offered him the phone and he started to read some of the comments, reading them quietly.
The more he read, the firmer his grip on your hand became, stroking it gently with his thumb.
When he decided it was enough, he turned it off and returned his gaze to you. Without saying anything he took you by the waist and sat you on his lap.
"You know I love you, right?" He uttered, cupping your cheek with his hand and you nodded, leaning into his touch.
"Yes, and I love you even more."
“There it is,” Tom kissed your forehead and cheek as he said those words. "It's more than enough if we both know that what we feel is real."
"I guess so." You smiled softly and he cupped your other cheek, kissing your lips adoringly. When you separated you looked at him dreamily and dazed. "If they call me a slut it will be worth it for once."
He let out a small laugh at your words and shook his head, wrapping his two arms around your waist, pulling you close to him and hugging you.
You loved that thing about Tom, that you might be breaking down but he'll always be there to put you back together.
In a world of boys he's a gentleman.
"I want to stay like this forever." You murmured with your head hidden in his neck.
"Me too, love, me too." He hummed, kissing your temple. "But we have a date planned for today, remember?"
"It's true." You nodded with a smile and he smiled looking at you, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear.
"Now go and make yourself more beautiful than you already are." He kissed your lips one last time and you walked towards the bathroom with a smile on your lips.

Our 13th DEBUT Anniv/special!
WHO is LEE JONG SUK?
"The more you know him, the more you love him"
Must Read: 'Secret Garden' Lee Jong Suk "Love with Oscar? I am also curious”
An unknown singer who says with a blunt expression, "I'm busy, go away" to Oscar (played by Yoon Sang-hyun), a Hallyu star who dominates Asia. The only thing he has is his ego, and he is rising. Although his face is only 3-4 minutes long in a single episode of the drama 'Secret Garden', he is a white-faced young man who is called 'crazy presence' by netizens and ranks high in search terms. Netizens asked this question the most through the drama bulletin board.
"What's the name of that actor who plays Sun?"

Tumblr media
▶"Hello. I'm Lee Jong Suk, a new actor." Rookie actor Lee Jong Suk ( 22 ) , who is receiving a lot of attention for playing the role of genius musician Sun in the SBS weekend drama 'Secret Garden' and developing 'affection' while quarreling with Oscar.
We met on the 23rd in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and bowed in greeting with his tall and white face.
When asked instead of greeting him, saying, "Do you feel the heightened popularity these days?", he said, "I didn't recognize anyone at first, but these days, I recognize him little by little on the street." In the play, 'Sun' is expressionless and only throws harsh lines, but in real life he is still a shy young man himself.
Tumblr media
"Fans I recognize on the street ask for autographs, but I don't have an autograph yet. So I'm just giving the autograph I used to pay with a credit card (laughs)." When asked if his actual personality is similar to Sun in the play, he shakes his head. “Then it would be better for acting, but in reality it is 180 degrees different.
In fact, it is rumored that several idol singers have been on the list as candidates for the role of Lee Jong Suk. As a rookie, he must have been under a lot of pressure to take on this position. "I went to the filming set for the first time, and the staff said, 'You beat many idols to take on that role.'
▶ "The singing in the play was lip syncing."
In the play, Lee Jong Suk received great attention for his appealing singing skills as the character of a genius musician. He is not just a singer, he said that the role of a 'genius musician' gave him great stress in the beginning of filming.
“I took a lot of singing lessons while preparing for this role for the first time. I even thought that maybe I should go out as a singer. I replaced it with something sung by. That doesn't mean I'm really bad at singing normally (laughs)."
When I said, 'When I saw it in the drama, it was so natural that I didn't know if it was lip-syncing', a bright smile came back. "Even though lip-synching looks easy, I secretly cared about it more. To sing along with the recorded song, you have to match the shape of your mouth and even your breathing. I wanted to sing it myself, but it turned out to be a pity."
▶"Oscar and homosexuality? I'm preparing my mind."
Tumblr media
When asked about the homosexuality code with Oscar, which is becoming a hot topic online, an unexpected answer came that he was really curious about what would happen to him.
"I don't know exactly if it will work out with (Oscar) homosexuality because nothing has been decided yet. In the 5th episode, I asked if there would be any improvement after I came out to Oscar instead of coming out, but there hasn't been anything like that yet. However, Sun continues to worry about Oscar. Being in the position of giving, the relationship may suddenly develop.”
When he told reporters, 'Oscar seems to be already preparing his mind' (Yoon Sang-hyun told reporters at the recent 'Secret Garden' on-site public, 'I'm afraid of the love line with Sun'), he said, "I myself have a heart. "No matter what happens to our relationship in the future, I hope both Sun and Oscar will have a happy ending."
He said that he was very nervous because he had to spit out vitriolic language with his senior Yoon Sang-hyun from the first filming. ' and said, 'This atmosphere was good.' He said, "Senior Yoon's real personality is 100 % the same as Oscar's," and "I think he's a character that fits really well.
" I really wanted to."
In addition to being a rookie actor, Lee Jong Suk also has a brilliant career as the youngest model at Seoul Fashion Walk. 3rd year of middle school, only 16 at the age of 15, she walked on the runway and worked as a model. However, his real dream was to become an actor.
"At first, I went to an agency that said they would make me an actor, but they told me that a career as a model would help me grow into an actor later, so they asked me to become a model first. So, after working as a model, I went to another company and prepared to become an idol singer for about six months. What I originally wanted to do was also It wasn't, and it was very difficult because I was added among the members who had been practicing first. Eventually, I moved to my current company and started preparing as an actor in earnest."
Tumblr media
After that, Lee Jong Suk started his trainee activities without any promises for 3 years. "As I kept failing auditions, I wandered a lot thinking, 'Is this path right for me?' When a friend appeared on the air, it was painful to think, 'How old was that friend who debuted and is so active?'"
He said that when he thought, 'I shouldn't do anything,' he said, 'But I started working earlier than others and I'm still young, so it will be okay.'
He made his first appearance on the TV screen in the drama 'Prosecutor Princess', which aired earlier this year. However, the role of an investigator in his late 20s left him with only regrets. "I think I acted because I was stuck in something because of the hard look of a prosecutor's investigator. Thinking about it now, it's a very regrettable work."
▶"I want to remain as an actor with a wide range that is not defined."
Lee Jong Suk brushed off all of that regret through his work called 'Secret Garden'. The flexible part of the character Sun, which was not clearly defined, became an advantage for him. “Even when I first took on the role, I didn’t hear a detailed explanation of the character Sun. So, while studying the character alone, I used to imagine why Sun had such a personality and environment.
Lee Jong Suk is currently immersed in acting practice. When he doesn't have a schedule, he takes private lessons and participates in group practice with other trainees to develop his dream. When asked what kind of actor he wants to be, he answered, “I want to remain as an actor who is not limited to one character.”
Lee Jong Suk said with a smile, "The lesson I learned from being a trainee for a long time is that if you set your goal too far, it becomes less realistic. That's why I'm going to do things that are close to me one by one instead of looking too far away. If I do that, wouldn't I be able to go farther with a bigger image?" Now, he is more curious about his future as he runs for his dream of being an 'actor'.

Yo my friend! Anon here! Now um this isn't a request or anything like that, but I do wanna ask this since I don't think anyone has thought about this through. I like both twisted wonderland and BSTS, and i wondered which dorms would the casts of Starless fit in NRC. Soo... Which dorm would you think they would fit in if you thought about it? You can ignore this if you consider this a request.
Hi! This is interesting~! Some of the characters can fit into multiple dorms, like Sotetsu can fit into Savanaclaw, Scarabia, and Octavinelle, so I chose the best option for them. For Sotetsu, he loves chaos above all, so Savanaclaw it is. On the flip side, there are some characters that don't really fit any dorms, like Heath. Maybe I should just put them in Ramshackle. XD
Savanaclaw: Sotetsu, Kokuyou, Mizuki, Ran
Diasomnia: Kei, Kongou, Gui
Heartslabyul: Rindou, Hari, Sinju, Ginsei
Pomefiore: Qu, Mokuren, Maica, Akira, Heath
Scarabia: Takami, Zakuro, Sin, Kasumi, Yoshino, Menou
Ignihyde: Taiga, Unei
Octavinelle: Rico, Yakou
(Below the cut is my explanation, aka me brainstorming)
Savanaclaw members like chaos, being #1, are dominant, and physically strong. Kokuyou wants to be #1 in Starless, takes pride in being called Mr. Starless, and considers himself as the alpha of Starless. Mizuki and Ran love chaos. Sotetsu can fit into Savanaclaw, Scarabia, and Octavinelle, but since he loves creating drama above all, Savanaclaw is it.
Diasomnia members are physically strong, intelligent, level-headed (for the most part lol), loyal, and give a knight-like vibe overall. Kei fits all of those, and he is knightly and kingly~ best hubby. ❤️ Kongou is calm, collected, and one of the most mature characters in Starless, and those biceps. :3 Gui is loyal (still hoping his master is not evil), calm, and has been MC's protector since season 1.
Heartslaybul = RULES. Riddle, how long did it take you to memorize those 810 rules? @_@ Rindou likes to follow tradition and seems like someone who would adhere to the rules...maybe due to his past? Ginsei likes the tradition ways as shown by his liking for Mikis shows and scripts. Sinju is too pure to be a rebel in any way, and if someone asks him to follow rules, he will follow them as closely as possible. Hari is raised in a “must follow rules” environment, and though he is breaking the rules by joining Starless, he knows one day he is going to have to return to the world of rules, aka following in his father’s footsteps.
Pomefiore spells elegance, beauty, and being yourself while continuing to strive for better. Qu and Mokuren are the most graceful, beautiful, and elegant members of Starless, and I can’t imagine them in any other dorms. Maica is also elegant and graceful but in a less feminine way, and I don’t see him fitting in any other dorms; he isn’t cunning or the type to pull strings from behind, nor is he knightly, and he doesn't like chaos and is not an introvert.
Scarabia = cunning, manipulative, and people who work from the shadows. Takami and Zakuro are very manipulative, cunning, and two of the most sus people in Starless. Takami could also fit in Octavinelle, but I can see him in Scarabia more. Sin isn’t manipulative, but he has pulled a few strings from the shadows. Mostly, Sin prefers to stay in the shadow and watch everything from there. Another person who works from the shadows is Kasumi...he is a ninja, and no one can convince me otherwise. Like, Sin, he sometimes pulls strings but doesn’t straight up manipulate. Season 1 Yoshino would have fit in Heartslabyul, but his character development has pushed him to the dark side. He is willing to go to any length to get songs in Starless, and even he has confessed this. It won’t be long until Yoshino starts openly manipulating.  Menou is in Starless for acting only and doesn’t care about anything else, aside from sleeping lol. He does have a manipulative side and is sharp as hell but prefers to keep everything to himself. Menou likes to watch and create drama by adding salt to wounds, but I can’t see him in Savanaclaw.
Ignihyde has introverts, gamers, and people who are good with technology, so pretty much Taiga. I think Unei also fits in this dorm as he is one of the few members of Starless that can use technology properly lol.
Octavinelle is the business version of Scarabia, so pretty much if you want something, you have to pay a price. They seem more self-centered and focus on things solely because it benefits them or they can get entertainment out of it. This is why Sotetsu fits in Octavinelle as well. Anytime anyone wants something from him, he asks what benefit he will get out of the deal. Rico, since day 1, has thought about himself and is more self-centered than not. Due to his debt, he looks for ways to pay off his debt, including making deals that are risky. Yakou only had one goal since he entered Starless, to go against Sinju and prove he’s better. Whatever he did was for his own benefit, and once he achieved his goal, he left to pursue his career. In Octavinelle’s chapter, Azul mentions “benevolent heart” and “pity” a lot, and it feels like Yakou returns to Starless when he is needed, either due to his benevolent heart or because he pities them or both. Remember, Yakou is one of the few members that can live a normal life and doesn’t need Starless.
Now, the two members I’m struggling to sort: Akira and Heath. Akira is in Starless for singing, but he doesn’t manipulate and says what he feels. He isn’t knightly or loyal to Team W (he has mentioned wanting to fight Team W by creating his own team), and Akira is not the one to follow rules. He doesn’t work from the shadows and is the only one who has pointed out that some people in Starless are shady AF. If someone asks Akira for help (like Heath), Akira doesn’t always ask for anything in return nor does he try to manipulate. He is definitely not an introvert and isn’t techy, so that leaves Pomefiore. Akira isn’t the elegant type, like Qu, but he is very true to himself and isn’t willing to change that, so he kinda fits in Pomefiore. Heath doesn’t fit in Diasomnia or Savanaclaw due to his lack of physical strength, and he isn’t manipulative nor does he look for benefit in everything, so no Scarabia or Octavinelle. He isn’t the type of follow rules and makes this evident in his rap lyrics, so bye Heartslabyul. That leaves Ignihyde and Pomefiore. He isn’t a super social person and isn’t techy, and he is not the type to focus on beauty, grace, but he is true to himself. He always writes what/how he feels and won’t change that for anyone, so like Akira, he fits in Pomefiore. Both the singer and rapper don’t have specific traits for one dorm, so it’s very hard for me to pick the perfect dorm for them.

Hi honey I have a question, do you know anything about why charlotte and adam were fired?
Hi dear,
Nobody knows anything about it, and I'm not so sure they were "fired", so much as not brought on for the second tour. They were not "Harry's band", they just played on his band during his last tour. Much like many touring musicians.
Clearly, there was a different vision for what the sound of Harry's music was going to be for Love on Tour, so they found other extremely talented musicians who brought that.
We don't know why Adam or Charlotte appeared upset - it could've been as simple as them assuming they were gonna be asked to join again but weren't, so they were upset. Or any other number of things. Or maybe they were not upset at all.
This really irks me, because many people immediately assume some shady drama must have gone down. When in reality, the act here is Harry. The musicians playing live with him audition and are then hired based on the artistic vision for the performance and their talent and what they bring to the band. It's also about business, and it's normal to tour with different artists when you're a musician. Unless you form a band, like Blink 182, Foo Fighters etc, where you're one unit (singers+instrument players), you'll likely play with many different acts. This is the case here - the act is Harry. Not to mention that things changed in the year and a half hiatus from tour, so the band playing with Harry changed.
Anyway, I don't wanna start discourse on this. And I'm very much not going to entertain drama theories.

It's me🙃 may I get a jjk matchup?
She/her, straight, Pisces, INFJ, 5'4 tall, long burgundy hair, green eyes, always wear dark makeup and fashion sense is mostly achromatics with reds/blues/beige- let's say grunge of sorts bc I love leather and ckecked shirts/prints.
Personality: v calm, rational, have a sense of humor but also v tired idk what's wrong with me, I'll do favors depending on how tired I feel, v intuitive and perceptive, I don't like loud, annoying, entitled people (=Karens)- will instantly tell them to shut up and I can be v moody, otherwise I'm nice I guess, I'm responsible for myself and I avoid taking the leading role bc I'm not into pulling other people's slack, I'm v enthusiastic ab/like creating digital art and I'm adaptable when it comes to people and going-outs/can go guang ho and raise the mood bc I like to see everyone having a good time, I don't smoke/drink alcohol but I'm also worried ab getting a little carried away, I'm awkward with talking ab feelings/relationships bc that's someone's personal info and personal means keeping it to yourself until the day you die (yes this is John Mulaney reference) BUT I can warm up to a person if I know them well and I'm affectionate and loyal to this person only, I love crime series and medical dramas, horror movies and survival games, rpg and action/adventure, I love dark humor/sarcasm/irony/metaphors, I'm into equally normal guys who think before they speak and take showers after activities, I also respect Nobara not liking UBSSD's bc yes queen same but I also understand Momo's Sebastian Stan obsession good for her good for her, I listen to songs that either make you depressed or badass (from Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers license" to Måneskin's "I wanna be your slave") and I consume fiction for escapism, I can relate to Megumi regarding modesty and not seeing myself in greater things although I should be greedier for my own sake, ah yes and I love Simon Baker bc of his smile.
That's it, have a nice day!👌Make sure to hydrate and take care bc you're a nice person and I like your vibes a lot.
AWH IM NOT EVEN GONNA LIE WHEN YOU SAID YOU LIKED MY VIBES I ALMOST CRIED, YOU’RE AO SWEET MY LOVE!
I ship you with Noritoshi Kamo!
Tumblr media
Idk why I feel like he just gives good cuddles
But he’s super laid back and down to earth when it comes to being around you
But there are certain people he just can’t stand
People who over abuse their power, people who don’t give respect but expect it
Just pisses him off sometimes
A very independent man but if you need something he won’t hesitate to drop what he’s doing to help out
When first meeting, he tries very hard to earn your trust and interest
It takes a while but he’s just so mesmerized by you he needs more
Loves to take you out to do literally anything
But your the only person who gets to see that side of him
Otherwise he’s very cool and collected when around his fellow lower class mates
He likes to have you sit on his lap and hug you while doing so
Also holds onto your thighs in this process
He is such a big fan of Måneskin but only you know that about him
He’s actually a pretty good singer and loves to serenade you
But doesn’t like to show that skill off, only if you ask
He loves to watch you create digital art it’s literally so cool to him
You have such a cool talent and he’s obsessed
In return he’ll teach you to shoot a bow and arrow and when you hit the target he’ll kiss you and spin you around
Ugh so proud of his baby
He does need your help when it’s regarding fashion
You basically dress him like a little kid
But he takes pride in it
