the way you can see caitlyn struggle to keep a brave face before she reaches out and crumbles in vi's arms,, practically throwing herself into vi's embrace with the full trust that she'd catch her!! vi truly is her safe space in this moment and i couldn't have asked for a better scene between them. the way vi hesitates to fully enclose the hug before they both relax and allow themselves to be vulnerable with one another!!

THE WAY CAITLYN LEANS INTO VI'S TOUCH MIRRORS THEIR SCENE IN HER BEDROOM WHEN VI FIRST LEANS INTO CAIT'S TOUCH?!?! i will never be over this scene oh they make me so ill. /pos

the part that really gets to me is how small cait looks here, taking away the regression aspect just physically she seems so small in vi's arms (despite being significantly taller) and her little sobs as she leans into her chest pain me so much it was only episode one but GIVE MY GIRL A BREAK OH MY GOD.

as much as the agere fandom likes to make vi the main regressor and cait the caretaker (which don't get me wrong i am 100% in support of as well vi is baby) i'm so glad we get to see glimpses of what caitlyn would be like in their dynamic. hell, i hope we see it more as the episodes progress because she's in dire need of support through her grief, from anyone that truly cares about her.
