i feel like im obligated to remind everyone that the time we see the characters spend with saiki on screen isnt the ONLY time they spend together,,, i just see a lot of people take their screen time very literally and assume that this is the case despite it being heavily implied that it isnt, and im not entirely sure why but i can guess that it may be because of the assumption that saiki genuinely hates his friends (i do also see people doing this with specific characters they dont like or that they have a specific agenda for, which i think is them being like "i feel a certain way about them, therefore saiki the narrator who gave me all the information that made me feel this way about them must not like them" which i dont really have a problem with (its just an hc) until they start arguing with people that their hc is the only right answer and saiki canonically hates that person or is only around them when forced to be LOL)

yumehara and teruhashi immediately recognize "kurikos" eating manner as saikis despite us never seeing him eat in front of them, kaido + nendo + kuboyasu bribe saiki for his homework with coffee jelly because they know hes obsessed with it despite us seeing no on-screen reason for them to know that (we do see a bit later that he walks home with them every day and he stares at coffee jelly every single time though LOL), and mera talks about saiki spending a lot of money at her workplace despite us only seeing her and him there at the same time once before..

saiki does not succeed at avoiding them, and in fact is probably not even trying to most of the time LMAO he loves those idiots. dearly.

the people i see the least true implications of him spending off-screen time with are actually, weirdly enough, the other two psychics. this doesnt necessarily mean to take that at face value and assume he DOESNT spend as much time with them, but its interesting i feel... please correct me if im wrong though cuz i would love to see more examples of these kinds of implications, for any characters actually!

Sketch dump! Vol. 5

September 2022 (Part 1/2)

The first piece on top summarised my cosplay rush for Tracon 2022! The second is an old idea for a charm.

"SURPRISE!!"

Back in 2022 I hosted an art raffle for reaching 777 followers on Twitter! The winner would get their submas themed idea realised (which was their friends throwing a surprise party for the twins!). I wanted to make a little comic and have the bosses walk in their office where depot agents, Elesa, Drayden, Skyla, Clay etc. would be waiting with decorations and treats and games.

Emmet is all smiles of course while Ingo gets so emotional he could only whisper a "super bravo".

Not really headcanons anymore but still funny ideas.

1. Emmet gets clumsy when off-rhythm! He starts walking in curves if there is nobody else around to match his rhythm with.

2. Emmet spaces out/forgets to say things aloud when someone speaks too long or when things go off-script! His thinking gets interrupted easily.

3. Ingo sometimes bumps into doors because he is too used to automatic doors!

4. When things go off-script Ingo speaks too much and rushes in straight lines"

Also my little inexpensive sketchbook & my trusty tools! Mechanical pencil and eraser pen are life when scribbling my skrimblos smaller than a postage stamp!

More Ingo~ I utilise a wide range of sources for references, including CSP's poseable 3D models, they can come really handy with perspectives and proportions!

The second piece is my very first attempt at cosplay in Tracon 2022: Blingo! I walked in with a sequin hat, leather jacket, leather pants and high heel patent leather boots.

The hardest part of cosplaying Ingo is remembering NOT to smile ahaha!

Some hairstyle tests

I drew these for a huge submas art collaboration over Twitter hosted by @/mimizukeii!! It was technically my first art collab before I started arranging them myself with Aggie/Magma.

While looking for train related songs I found this cute nursery rhyme to go with the marching:

I wanted to compare these silly twins, planning to do something more silly with them later. Also a sketch of @/fukurow's butler designs I never finished.. The capes compliment them so well, I love them!!

Prequel to this piece! Emmet is so confident in himself he thinks Pierce wants to learn from him but is invited for a duet on the stage instead!!

Emmet has really great voice actors in Pokemas! I especially love how his english VA gives him that bri'ish/posh/sophisticated vibe while also soft and melodic! I know for SURE this VA/Emmet can sing, I can show you later!

One of my favourite sketches!! I wanted to add a bunch of characters in the BG reacting to this sonic blast of emotion over a performance!

Heyyy it's the smile buddies comic!! I really hope Ingo gets to interact with Marnie in Pokemas one day!!

I feel Ingo's eyes in the mirror panel is a little off in the final comic, I meant to keep it softer like in the sketch!

It's Nimbasa trio!! Idea inspired by submas EX uniform colors. Might continue this later!

Some BG tests for this piece! Compositing is hard but absolutely worth the effort, it can make a huge difference in the appeal of your piece!!

Practise piece drawing over a photo I thought was cool! I want to get more experimental with lighting and perspective!

Sketch for this arguing scene! Something REALLY BAD needs to happen for them to end up that tense! Even if I want to present them close to the canon material I still want to put them in really challenging situations to see how far I can push their emotions!

or: Silco try to rally the Firelights to his cause (in this case, Zaun - he's much more involved in doing better for his city than in the show) but of course they're bound to have some..tension between them, since they hate him - and Shimmer. (it has the good parent Silco tag so i'd say that all in all, this Silco is a little less...Silco than in Arcane, but manage to keep some of the bite he has in canon...) i only read 2 chapters, and what i can say is that it does a good job with the general cast, the interactions between Silco/Ekko-Firelights are believable, i think the one thing that could have weird me out is the way Silco is said to be 'proud' of the Firelights in the summary (for me 'pride' is something he'd reserve for Jinx yk?? anyway i stop the rambling) . The Timebomb relationship has more or less the same push and pull as in the show, with Ekko thinking about the girl Jinx used to be/ Ekko being a link to the past before Jinx and all that entail...so yeah, i'm loving it!

Timebomb centric rewrite of Arcane, Jinx is Powder, she doesnt fall under Silco's hand (or in his arms precisely), Ekko is Ekko, and 1, i need to hug Powder, 2 she deserves the world and 3 the characterization of everyone, everyone is so brillantly written and the timebomb relationship (damn even the CaitVi one too) oh, the timebomb of it all... they feel so, so real and it hurts, Powder's insecurities, her mental illness, her guilt, her need to prove herself but in same time she doesnt feel herself worth of anything (or anyone) good... just.read it. read it, because i just did, after like 2 years of not doing that and. im like mad bc why didnt i??? but in same time so grateful to just discover it now, taking my sweet little time reading it; it rewinded my brain its amazing, (like this work in another fandom, the first time i read this rebelcaptain's fic A Love song by skitzofreak - did i just linked it for you to read even tho its a timebomb rec post??? yes. yes i did. thats how much i love, adore, worship this one guys - so everything's better made me think a lot of this TB fic, and also of RC (the abandonment issues, thinking that you have to leave first before everyone leave you, Jyn and Powder damn).

you know how everyone make the comparaison between Ekko and Miles?? well, the author found a way for Ekko transform into a spiderman that feels right in the arcane verse (end of act1) and damn its so good. Ekko slowly morphing and gaining his powers while everyone still have some focus on them (mostly Powder), but it still manages to keep the suspense of the fate of other characters. fabulous. author note: [I have seen so many comparisons between Ekko and Miles and a lot of fanart. living with solomon has given you the much needed tranquility in your otherwise very chaotic life in the devildom. months ago you would’ve never thought that living with solomon could be so… intimate.

it only took three days to come up with a chore schedule that the both of you follow to a t. monday, wednesday, friday where solomon’s while tuesday, thursday and friday were yours. to settle for sunday solomon suggested rock paper scissors. (you thought it was a silly way of settling it but you went along with it because he’s got the cutest laugh when he wins &lt;3)

on his days, solomon had basically become your house husband. he’d welcome you at the door with a greeting, “welcome back darling <3” he’d half tease while blowing a kiss. you’d roll your eyes and sit at the kitchen island with your own greeting,

“hi sol. did you miss me?” “more than anything” he says earnestly.

solomon thinks sleepy you is the cutest you. sometimes he’ll just sit at the couch fondly watching you stumble around tired as hell. or he’d sit in your shared bed and comment on how cute you’re being when you shuffle your way to the bathroom to get ready.

“ah, you’re so cute i could just die.” he sighs contently while sliding over your cup of coffee. “mmm…shutup” you mumble, eyeing the mug suspiciously. “you didn’t put anything funny in this?” you say as you take curious sips… it’s kind of sweet. solomon lets out an airy laugh with a half offended look, “you think i’d poison you?” you nod.

you and solomon have seperate rooms. yet the both of you find eachother having “sleepovers” at eachother’s rooms. solomon’s excuse is always ‘yours is closer’. you don’t even bother making up one, just simply inviting yourself over when solomon stays up late. ‘if i’m not here you’d never sleep’ you reason, solomon just nods along and lets you drag him to bed.

though, you tend to stay in solomon’s room more. it smells like him…. his scent is comforting. it’s become the most comforting and familiar thing in this strange and unfamiliar world. even back in your timeline his room smelt the same.

“you smell like home” you mumble sleepily, clinging on harder to solomon’s waist. snuggling closer to his chest, you can faintly hear solomon’s heart thump faster. he doesn’t respond but you know he’s heard you. solomon pulls you closer and kisses the top of your head, ‘you are home’ he thinks.

Orion is an obsessive, clingy and overprotective yandere that's for sure.

Orion is focused on you 24/7 in his mind, every time he's going out with someone else, he will constantly think of you. He's not having a fixation on you, like D-16 would with his darling, more like a thoughtful «I wonder if they will like it if I give it to them» or «if I COULD transform, I would be carrying them around everywhere!». His thoughts are mostly innocent, even though they often lead him to cause even more trouble. He will seek out a thousand risky stunts to do just to impress you, and he doesn't really care if Darkwing will beat him up because of it.

It is no secret that Orion is clingy. I already described it in other posts, and I will ramble about it again, but that silly guy does NOT know how to keep his servos to himself. Yandere Orion just can't comprehend the fact that you may not like it. You can find it weird, rude or just not tactile, and if he finds out, that's a pure torture. At first, he might find it funny and not take it seriously, you're probably in that «edgy, no nonsense and independent» phase some bots have, so he finds it his own personal goal to warm you up to him.

If you're somehow still adamant about it, I can see him trying to restrain himself from just squishing you against his frame the second he sees you in the same room with him. Cogless tiny Orion will be a sweetheart, so he always finds a way to satisfy his own needs without crossing the line. One day it's a simple touch on your shoulder, then he will try to hold your servo if lucky, and maaaaybe even give you a tiny peck on the cheek as soon as you look away from him. Touch is his love language!

Yandere cogged Orion/Optimus is a huge sweetheart but when he's tired and emotionally drained, the only thing he wants is to wrap his arms around you and hold you close to himself. Stay like that and don't say a word, it's not like you have a chance to escape.

Orion doesn't look like a person who thinks about his own safety. You will watch him running around Iacon from another trouble he got himself into, and he will even drag D-16 with him. Even though in his mind, it's for a better cause, If you're really close and dear to him, he also wants you to be the part of this adventure because he desires the better future for everyone and for both of you specifically. Together.

As Orion, still young, idealistic and naive bot, I never see him taking away your freedom. If you wish to tag along with him on the race, even though it's the most dangerous thing ever, especially with both of you not having any t-cogs...he will gladly accept it! As yandere Orion always cares about your well-being, but it's never the boring «I will lock you up just so you will always be safe» type of overprotectiveness. He neglects his own well-being to the point where he will gladly lose an arm or a leg if it means protecting you, and he doesn't care that he might die because of it.

You should constantly remind him to check Ratchet at least for once, but he will jokingly dismiss it since he's more concerned about that tiny dent on your frame. How did you get it? Do you need him helping you to polish? Orion already drags you to medic, meanwhile he is standing there holding broken metal pieces of his own body and like “that's just a scratch!”.

We all saw how Orion got protective over Elita once she was fired by Darkwing. His first thoughts are "yeah, I will NOT let that slide" even though he is two times smaller than their supervisor. Orion is a fighter for justice, for his darling he's a true gentleman, or...tries to be at least.

He's not that type of yandere who will murder someone if they hurt you, because his own beliefs are strong and unclouded. Yes, in the heat of battle, when it's either your life or the life of the enemy, he will never hesitate to end them, but even then he feels guilty about it (especially if we talk about young Orion/Optimus). If he actually ends up hurting someone, he will be devastated, and might as well take a long time to process it all.

How did it happen? How could he let this happen? He fights for freedom, for everyone, no matter if they're enemy or not, they all deserve at least a one chance for redemption. There will be a time when Orion blames himself for it, it corrupts his spark slowly, to the point where he thinks of himself as unworthy of you.

As much as Orion is an inspiring, he's self-conscious. The more not-so-happy events you go through together, the more he becomes dependent on you. You're a part of Orion's life, he can't shine brightly without his little satellite.

Yandere!Orion would constantly need you by his side. It doesn't matter where he is going, as long as he is with you. During his lowest moments, he wants you to reassure him and give him that comfort that will keep him at bay. He didn't mean to hurt anyone, but that worry and spark of rage blinded him, leaving his own servos dirty in the stranger's energon.

Young Orion is one of the softest yanderes to deal with. He still has to learn a lot about his own place in this world, his motivation, and his strength. Everything felt so easy when you were just two cogless bots, but the more time passes, the harder it is to deal with more complex feelings. Jealousy, disappointment, and regret. At the end of the day, you're the only person to keep him sane and not to collapse from the responsibilities on his shoulders. The problem is, it is too hard to get rid of that dependence.

i have decided to break my lack of original posting on this blog to bring you my Thoughts on Rot in Paradise. because i played it as soon as i got up this morning and i have scoured for some opinions after finishing it, and now i have my own!!

(and also i posted this on twitter but twitter has such a Shit wordcount that i'm also posting my things here with More Detail)

so! spoilers under the cut, please go and play the game if you haven't. it takes literally an hour (it only took nearly 2 hours for me because i like voice acting by myself and exploring every nook and cranny) and it's also free. so maybe come back into the tag once you're done.

okay, so i noticed quite a number of people being confused and disappointed on the lack of an explanation for the monster. it's brought up in the story as the central thing driving the plot, but it's never explained on what "she" is, why she's compelling people to eat a ton of fish-related food or hell, metal, and why this doesn't impact June at all.

but you know what I think?

i think that that's the point. the focus of rot in paradise isn't supposed to be on the monster.

yeah, it's the thing that pushes the plot along besides June and the gang going on vacation in this island. it's what's causing that uneasiness from the moment that guy grabs June's arm at the drinks, to the sheer unnerving feeling of witnessing people going to the ocean to get Raptured basically. i know i personally felt a chill when i saw that one dude literally eating chains and the other hauling an anchor, as if they're trying to make themselves heavier so they get taken by whatever She is.

but that's not the main point! the main conflict is about June and her friends.

as people have pointed out, this game is about toxic friendships and relationships! it's foreshadowed in the conversation that June has with the gang about her cousin (which i will also get into), and it carries it through the way her friends are horribly warped by this ocean Creature. June goes on a silly little vacation trip with her friends only for them to become so so different from themselves that they lash out at her and even hit her in McCoy's case.

but she still sticks it out with them. through the whole game, even despite their verbal abuse, despite being slapped, despite them being people that she can hardly recognise. she stays with them for the whole game, up until the point where you are given the two options at the very end. and she could still stay with them.

because they're still her friends. she cares about them even if they still hurt her. from the way June still tells Carmen to tell June if she needs anything after Carmen literally tells her to shut up and leave, the way June worries about Vonnie eating seafood even though she continues to stuff herself despite being implied to either hate or make an active choice to not eat seafood, to the way June still trudges out to sea screaming for McCoy to come back to the shore as he wades further in even after he slapped her until her nose bled.

it mirrors the conversation about her cousin, the reason for why June was looking forward to the vacation. that while she did comfort her cousin through all of it, June clearly says that "they were dickheads, and she should have ditched them a long time ago".

but it's funny, isn't it? that June, an outsider to her cousin's friend group, easily sees the pain that her cousin's friends are causing her, and immediately calls it as it is. that her cousin should have left the second they hurt her.

and yet now, when her friends hurt her, even though this was a quick and sudden change that happened in a span of three days, June still sticks around. her friends are dickheads right now, and we can see that in the way they interact with June, but she still stays.

because they're her friends. and how could she just leave them like this if it's something that's causing them to be this way?

so no, i don't think the monster is supposed to be the main picture. we don't need to know what it looks like, or why it needs to do this to the islanders, or how it's even doing it in the first place. it adds to the scariness of the game, as per the Spooktober Game Jam, sure, but that's not the point. might be a bit disappointing to some, but that's not the point.

the point is about June, and the choice that she needs to make at the end of the game.

it's a choice on whether she chooses to be pulled deeper into the tides and be with the friends who hurt her and will continue to hurt her in this way,

or to leave them to their fates, whether deserved or not, and resurface to a world where she's alone without her friends.

and even though the first choice hurts much more in the long run, doesn't the second hurt even more in the moment? knowing that you're alone at the end of all of this?

even if it is the right choice, i'm sure the pain must be unbearable in the moment.

I find the basketball scene in 7x04 Buck, Bothered, and Bewildered to be quite funny as someone who has played basketball for 10+ years.

The main thing I find funny is, why are Eddie and Buck guarding each other?

Not only is Buck a little bit taller than Eddie, he’s also quite a bit more built than his best friend. Eddie, if we take into consideration Buck’s “you’re the fastest runner” line and that he must of been playing for years as he’s been asking Buck to join him to this basketball pickup game since he’s moved to LA, would be quite a scrappy player with experience. Meaning he would be quite difficult to guard. As with Buck having enough distaste for basketball, and doesn’t play at all means his skills are low.

Not to mention with Buck’s built and height, he should be playing post (down by the hoop), not point guard (bringing the ball up and demanding the offensive moves for the team). Whereas Eddie would be more of your point guard/guard player.

Usually before the ball is in play, teams will discuss quickly who they are guarding so no player is left open for easy basket on the first play. This will lead to guards usually choosing another guard player to guard and post players will guard a post player.

Making this clip pretty interesting because why is Buck, an inexperienced player, bringing the ball up (yes I know it’s a silly little pickup game but usually sports players are a competitive bunch 9 times out of 10) and trying to maneuver the ball with a behind the back move?? And Eddie just swoops in with easy because oh, I don’t know… he’s actually good at basketball and his ball handing skills. (Stop with you dirty thoughts folks)

If anything, Buck and Tommy should be guarding each other as they match up in built and height. Making them an equal match up… but they aren’t?

Which leads me to think…

What if as the new subs are brought in during the time out (Chimney and Buck), Eddie was like “Aye I got Buck!” immediately, and no one fought him for it.

There isn’t even a single scene where they are being guard by anybody else. Even after Buck gets screened by Tommy, he still caught up the slack to continue to guard Eddie instead of the smart decision of switching players with whoever was guarding Tommy.

But those two just need to be together even if it’s playing opposite of another. Getting all sweaty and up close with each other- don’t get me started on if we got a boxing out scene (which is when you use your butt and push it into you opponents front as you continue to push them backwards for a better shot at retrieving the ball after a miss shot).

All in all,

Edmundo “Eddie” Diaz really wanted to guard his best friend Evan “Buck” Buckley which is the gayest thing a “straight” guy could do.

Warnings!! - Not really any except for mentions of his big ass ego, my silly takes, and the Kendrick vs Drake situation from earlier this year. Also, not hate to imagine dragons or Disney adults, it’s just funny to imagine Satoru Gojo associated with those things😭

A/n!! - smth short bc I don’t feel like writing anything long rn😭. I’m working on some asks, including one for MHA so I can put something up on there, but for now, he’s some goofy thoughts I’ve had abt Gojo over the week✨

- He’s the proud owner of a few pet rocks, which are just rocks he’s seen on the ground during his nightly walks and picked up.

- Don’t mistake this man’s goofiness for insincerity, although, because that’s not it at all. He gets nervous, and resorts to a joke. Or, he gets angry, so he tries to cool down with a joke.

- Satoru DOMINATES at just dance, he’ll dance up a storm no matter who he’s competing against.

- Has started fights/gotten people angry because of some of his off handed jokes, but is completely oblivious to it…like you’ll think he’s trying to act like nothing is wrong, when in reality he just DOESN’T KNOW?!

- I was thinking abt making a whole post on this, but I think he’d listen to artists like Imagine Dragons (unironically), Chase Atlantic, BTS, Charlie XCX, and NewJeans. Although he’s not much of a music guy, he does like to listen to stuff when he’s alone on a walk or in the car.

- This man has a god-complex, and we all need to admit it even thought he’s our silly little guy…🤧 but he definitely strikes me as the type to get very absorbed by his ego at times. But best believe he’s got people around him that’ll smack some sense into him, because he really does have a big heart deep down.

- Satoru has an iPad. I can’t explain, all I know is that he has an iPad 10th gen and it’s blue.

- Has a strange attachment to the Barbie movies. All 52 of them. He watched the first one when he was like 12 (I did an unnecessary amount of math and googling to fact check this) and thought “omg? Another fabulous, multitalented, attractive person like me? I’m in.”

- She was definitely not his first crush though, that was Meg from Hercules fs.

- He’s not a Disney adult, but if he were to go to Disney, he’d be able to name each character, ride, and find all of the hidden Mickey’s. So he’s pretty damn close.

- Has used his biblically accurate eyes to blind many people before. Although, most of the time it’s unintentionally. The other times, he’s just being a little shit or distracting an opp.

- Didn’t care about the Drake vs. Kendrick thing, but when Yuji explained the whole ass lore to him he said he was on Kendrick’s side to appease him. He has nothing against either artist, he’s just too busy waiting for 2025 for the BTS reunion to care about anything else culture wise LMAO
