As the nerd that I am, I was reading the translation of Kameda Yoshimichi’s character design notes for season 1 by @katyatalks and uhhhhh yeah here’s something simple.

[ID: The first two images are a Mob Psycho 100 comic about Ritsu. First, he's shown looking forward with dark, serious eyes. He sits quietly in class and speaks to Kamuro. Then someone from offscreen calls Ritsu's name, and he turns around with a smile and brighter eyes to say in return, "Nii-san."

The final image is an excerpt of text that says, "tried to make Ritsu-kun have more of an adult-like aura than Mob. He barely smiles, so he has an intense look in his eyes. I kept in mind that his eyes are only allowed to become soft when he's with Mob. His irises are bigger than Mob's own so there's a bit.." End ID]

Sorry for the hiatus!!! I’ve been super busy recently! I’ve moved into a new apartment (yay!), and became a manager at my job! But I’m glad to be back and hopefully will be posting more frequently again!

Anywho, here’s some hollow concept art! I like the idea of them having jaws that extend back to nearly their collarbones, and can move independently of their other facial bones (like sharks for example). I gave them a longer mouth and neck to help accommodate their tongues and subsequently their… diet. I also hc that they don’t have much hair as hollows, regardless of their old human forms because 1. Humans already don’t have much 2. they’re messy eaters and 3. Because I hate drawing hair
