A Second Chance, A Father's Curse - Part 1 (Ryomen Sukuna X Reader)
Tumblr media
This is part of my Royal AU, the first I'm writing for it, there may be inconsistencies between each different fic set within the universe including but not limited to which damn clan does Sukuna belong to, but I'm sure it'll be fine :))
also i hope the family tree kinda makes sense, i can make a separate post showing the different clans and their family trees if needed
Warnings: mentions of an affair, brief mentions of abuse but nothing explicit
Word count: 3.1k

When the boy first showed up everything had been good, a new son had been born into the Itadori clan, the royal family was stronger than ever. This boy threatened to bring all of that down simply by existing. Jin Itadori was not known for his mercy, often ruthlessly leading swathes of knights into battles and leaving none alive, but this boy was no ordinary enemy. His own son, illegitimate, but still his flesh and blood. His wife said nothing when he brought the screaming baby into the nursery that was only meant for one, placing him beside Yuji in his large crib.
Kaori Itadori simply accepted what had been given to her and raised the boy as her own, despite the neglect and clear favoritism shown from Jin to his alleged twin sons. The two were almost identical despite the fact they had different mothers, which was how the lie was able to be carried so easily through their lives. Ryomen knew, he had always known, and he’d hated almost everyone for it. The only people he couldn’t truly even pretend to hate were his adopted brothers, and he let everyone know this vehemently, shirking his duties and often hiding away from elaborate dinner parties or balls he did not want to attend.
Yuji’s heart broke for his brother, and of the five Itadori boys, only the eldest Choso knew of the predicament underlying the twins. The youngest, Eso and Kechizu, were born one after the other, three years apart, with significant health complications and therefore rarely appeared in public. The elder three were fiercely protective, especially Ryomen who’d had a taste of his father’s neglect and despised that Jin had turned it on his youngest sons. None of the three wanted to burden their younger brothers, they’d been told that the pair might not live to become adults, so they had always made sure the boys were well fed and happy.
Ryomen suffered in silence. His teachers could not quell his anger, the best sorcerers warned of his growing cursed energy levels, but nothing was ever done. Nothing really could be done. By the time he turned nineteen he was undoubtedly the strongest of the Itadori boys, and his father was adamantly trying to wed him off to a different kingdom. Ryomen didn’t care, the faster he got out of Khoccadia the better in his opinion. He spent his days training in combat with the knights, including the captains of both the Shadow and Blood units, Megumi Fushiguro, and Takuma Ino.
Megumi Fushiguro interested him, the man was his age, his twin brother’s personal bodyguard, and he had the inherited cursed technique of the Zenin clan, the royal family of a neighbouring kingdom. His unit, aptly named the Shadows, were a small close knit group of Shikigami summoners, led by a wielder of the undisputed king of Shikigami techniques. This made him both an outsider and a refugee, having been forced to prove his loyalty a thousand times over, including regaining the trust of the royal family after his technique was revealed during an attack on the kingdom where he had to unleash his power to protect Yuji.
The other captain, Takuma Ino, wasn’t as interesting or close to him, but still a formidable ally and opponent, having first trained under the royal sorcerer Kento Nanami, before his technique proved to be more useful on a battlefield than overseeing curses. Ryomen often found himself sitting with the pair post-sparring, looking out over the training grounds within the castle walls, and asking himself where he would go if he decided to run. He knew he wouldn’t get far, his cursed energy was much too unique, Nanami would be able to find him with no trouble. His only way out would be this arranged marriage, and he had to be sure it was far far away from here.
This is what eventually lead to Jin Itadori hosting a ball and inviting many of the leaders of nearby nations to attend with their daughters, royal, political, and otherwise. Few invites were sent out past the neighbouring nations, but Ryomen had to be sure, so he had insisted under the cover of lies that his father’s orders had the invitations sent further. When the day of the ball arrived, Ryomen was reluctantly dolled up in a luxurious maroon suit, his hair styled with earrings and cufflinks to match. When he met up with Choso and Yuji, he saw they were dressed similarly to him, but Yuji’s suit is a deep pink and Choso’s a dark purple.
“Don’t we just look a treat,” Ryomen huffed, reaching up and adjusting Yuji’s collar slightly. “They were chosen by mother,” Choso looks away and Ryomen finds himself almost apologising. It wasn’t her fault, she was a victim of the system just as he was, but he shakes it off. “You okay?” Yuji mumbles, giving his brother the same outfit once over. The twins had always known what would make each other look the best, Ryomen let him fuss with his hair a little before swatting his hands away. “I don’t think I’ve ever been okay, I can’t wait to get the hell out of here so I never have to see him again,” He growls. Choso checks his watch as they approach the upstairs entry to the ballroom, the laughter and chatter behind it dying down as someone announces their arrival.
“I hope you find someone,” Yuji squeezes his hand for a brief moment before Ryomen can pull away or protest, dropping his hand before the door swings open and the three of them are revealed to the eyes below. Choso in the centre with his brothers flanking, there are smiles of all kinds as they descend the stairs. Some genuine, some scheming, others that don’t quite reach the eyes of their owners.
Ryomen Itadori doesn’t get nervous, but in this moment he finds his eyes searching for Kaori Itadori. She returns his gaze from her place on the ballroom throne and nods once. This party is for him, it’s his ticket out of here, and it almost feels to him like she’s lending him her strength. The strength to do what she never could. When the three of them reach the bottom of the stairs, his brothers disperse into the crowd to find dance partners, and Ryomen finds himself alone surveying what he can see. The only clan tattoos he recognises around the edges are those belonging to the Zenin clan, the Gojo clan, the Kamo clan and that of the Creyarean district, which is a political power and not run by a royal or empirical clan.
There are a few tattoos he does not recognise, he assumes from further out on the continent, and one in particular draws his gaze. A kindly looking couple, king and queen, with matching filagree tattoos over their facial features, most prominent on their jawline, cheeks, across the nose and in the centre of their foreheads. No other family has tattoos that bold, the closest in comparison is the Kamo clan with a jagged X over the right eye, and he finds himself curious as to their origins. “Brother! I’d like you to meet someone,” Yuji’s voice suddenly cuts into his wandering thoughts and he scoffs, “Leave me alone Yuji,” He grunts, but his brother barges into his space, his mouth right next to his ear as he utters the words that could be Ryomen’s salvation.
“Her family comes from miles away, three kingdoms over!” Yuji hisses. His gaze flits to the girl who stands holding Yuji’s hand, looking like she’s just been dragged at a brisk Itadori walk across half the ballroom (Which she had been). His brother drops her hand as he steps back and presents her, “Allow me to introduce Y/n L/n, of the Iqorian Empire,” Unmarried, she does not bear her parents tattoos, but there are two thick black bands around both her wrists which could be a hint at early clan tattoos that don’t decorate the face.
She curtseys and he feels his demeanour soften slightly, taking her hand which still hovers unsure before her to press a light kiss to the back of it. He keeps his face painfully neutral as he studies her features, her e/c eyes traveling back up to meet his. “Lovely to meet you, Miss L/n, Ryomen Itadori,” He introduces himself politely, though he knows that she must already know who he is, given his brother has a tendency to babble. She uses her free hand to fix her h/c hair before giving him a polite smile, “Some party your parents cooked up, is the potential marriage for diplomatic purposes?” She asks. He clenches his jaw slightly, his gaze scanning the crowd as he instinctively pulls her slightly closer.
His father’s face is dark and sinister, his eyes locked on Ryomen but his mind elsewhere, “You could say that,” He replies, “But I would say it’s freedom,” Her eyes widen and he steels himself, she must be able to sense the years of neglect and abuse on him, he knows he reeks of it, but if she does she doesn’t mention it, “I see,” She murmurs, “Well, would you like to dance?” He looks at her like she’s grown an extra head for a moment, but Yuji punches his side and he blinks, “Yes yes, of course, that would be nice,” His words drift away and he becomes eternally grateful for the dancing lessons Kaori forced him to endure as he leads the girl out into the centre of the dance floor.
The night passes by quicker than he would have liked it to, despite stepping into the ballroom like a caged wolf with the taste of freedom on his tongue. He comes to learn from the girl his brother introduced to him that the royal couple he didn’t recognise, with the outlandish filagree tattoos, are her parents, and he is hooked from that moment on. You of course know there is something he is hiding, but his sudden interest in your clan tattoos brings a soft smile to your face as you look over to your parents. They seem to be overjoyed that you’ve caught the attention of the Itadori son up for grabs, but you know there’s more to it considering the fact that he should be the second in line, and yet is being married out of his family into another.
“I am certain we will be seeing one another again, Miss Y/n,” He murmurs as he presses one last kiss to the back of your hand, his fingers tracing one of the black lines on your wrist. You grab his arm before he can turn away, “Ryomen,” You murmur in response, “Sir, are you in trouble here?” He does not reply, his gaze is hard, but you feel a lack of response is enough for you to fill in the gaps.
He’s not welcome in his family, and you’re determined to get him out and then find out why, even if it means ruining any diplomatic relationship Iqoria could have with Khoccadia. You omit the fears you hold close to your chest when your parents demand to know how your night went, they were watching and already knew you were the only one Ryomen Itadori spent his night with. This is a golden opportunity, he is already well known throughout the continent as the strongest Itadori son, he would be a priceless addition to any family, and nobody else seems to be questioning the fact his father doesn’t seem to want him to stay.
A foolish decision, considering the fact his cursed energy swamped the entire ball from the moment he entered the room, just barely discernible from that of your parent’s royal sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, who came to meet with other royal sorcerers in attendance. You are reunited with Suguru Geto, your personal guard and the Captain of the Iqorian Guards, after conversing with your parents. He escorts you back to the room provided to you within the Itadori’s castle for the night, “I take it the night went well, your highness?” He asks as he follows you in.
You find yourself unable to respond, chewing on your thumbnail as you sit at the dresser, leaning your head on your free hand. Lost in thought you don’t hear him approach until his hand is on your shoulder, “What ails you my lady?” “He’s tormented,” You murmur, “Prince Ryomen, he’s trapped, and something is very wrong with this family,” His face reflected in the mirror is one of soft confusion, and you find you can’t hide anything from him. He’s trained you your whole life, and you trust him sometimes more than you trust your parents, he’s like a second brother to you, “I asked if he was in trouble, and I fear a lack of response or denial is enough to ascertain the danger, I must marry him if he is to survive with his humanity intact,”
Geto frowns and grips your shoulder slightly, “I will call for your maids, this stays between us,” He announces, “Sleep well your highness,” “Where are you going?” “To let your parents know I am in full support of this marriage, he’s incredibly strong after all,” His face is sly as a fox and you find yourself speechless, “He’ll be a great asset if we give him the chance,” Once he is gone you find comfort in the knowledge of his support, thus allowing you to slumber in peace.
When the morning arrives, you find yourself swept up in preparations for the wedding, which you find after questioning the closest maid is to be held that very day. His father must be desperate to get rid of him before he becomes a problem, and you’re more than willing to let Kaori Itadori and her maids along with yours fawn over you and dress you in the finest white dress you’ve ever seen. You’re understandably nervous, your parents dropped by only once that morning to tell you what you already knew about the conversation they shared with Ryomen’s parents, but they also said once the wedding was over you’d be leaving for home almost immediately.
This was, surprisingly, not the most shocking thing you’d heard all morning. It fell just behind the fact that it would be Geto and not your father who would be walking you down the aisle, a few of your closest maids acting as bridesmaids. This is to go along with a Khoccadian custom involving the parents of both spouses, while also incorporating the ‘giving away’ portion from Iqorian marriages. Ryomen’s mother wraps her arms around you quickly outside the throne room before she pushes a bouquet of red roses into your hands, tears in her eyes, “Take care of him,” She whispers, her eyes intense and so full of sadness you think you may cry too. You nod, words escaping you as you turn to the throne room, the music floating out at you different to the wedding music back home.
It dawns on you as the doors open to reveal you to the crowd that you don’t know Ryomen Itadori. You don’t know his favourite food, you don’t know his favourite hobbies, you don’t know what he likes in a partner, you don’t even know what his relationship with his brothers is like. It’s too late to wonder, as you clutch the bouquet in your hand and link your other arm with Geto who has just appeared at your side. His presence helps to calm your nerves, but you’re still antsy as you approach the front of the room where Ryomen waits for you, looking equally antsy but for a different reason.
You know he wants out, and you’re his ticket, you just have to get through the next hour of formalities. The crowd is never truly silent during your ceremony, there’s always a low hum of chatter, but it doesn’t disturb or deter the continuance of the ceremony. You can feel Jin Itadori’s eyes on you almost the entire time and you endeavour to ignore him as best you can, focusing on the feeling of Ryomen’s hands in yours. You take the time before and during vows to study his face, the way he scrunches his nose sometimes or crosses his eyes to make you smile. It works, and he squeezes your hands to add reassurance to the moment, until finally you’re pronounced as husband and wife, and without even a second thought or hesitation he pulls you into him, pressing his lips to yours.
You’re breathless, your hands clutching his biceps, barely hanging onto the threads of your discipline before he pulls you into him for a hug, “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” He mutters against your ear, kissing the side of your head as the crowd cheers and his words are lost in the cacophony of sounds. You let your eyes speak a thousand words as you meet his gaze, smiling softly before finally speaking, “You’re safe now,” His shoulders relax as the two of you turn to walk back down the aisle. Once out of the throne room, his brothers are there to greet him, and Yuji hugs him tightly, “Brother…” He murmurs, “Don’t forget us, you understand?” He grips the back of Ryomen’s head and presses his forehead to his twins, “Promise me?”
Ryomen blinks sadly, “I’ll come back for you,” He whispers. The two younger boys crowd between the twins and Ryomen holds them, the taller one seems quite physically weak, and the shorter one has not opened his eyes, but he holds them close. “How does Ryomen L/n sound?” He asks softly, “Fitting?” Yuji smiles, “For you? It’s perfect,” Just before the two of you can be whisked away by your maids, he grabs his elder brother’s hand, “Choso,” He forces the man to look him in the eyes, “Look after them, don’t let them end up like him, or me for that matter,” He growls, “Swear on your life,”
Choso nods, “I swear on my life,” Ryomen nods one final time, “I hope we’re all better people when we see each other again,” He says, words meant only for his brothers that you catch while ushering your maids away from the moment. His hand on your back is the only warning you get before he’s nudging you along the tidal wave of people who head to the main entrance.
A grand exit, the staircase long, carriages await at the bottom, and Ryomen’s freedom. A price paid a thousand times over, a dream finally allowed to come true, and a man desperately clinging to the bare threads of his humanity. The world gives him a lifeline in the form of a girl second in line to her kingdom’s throne, and he finds he remembers why he endured staying alive all those years. His real family, his only family, his brothers - and maybe even revenge.

“WRONG PERSON”
(yandere?)Kakashi Hatake x Fem!Reader
when you accidentally send a raunchy text to your sensei instead of your fling..
-SMUTTTTTTTTTTT- (so 18+ please!)
Tumblr media
After spending the whole day talking with Ino and Sakura about how much dick they get, you thought about the last time you got lucky.
By no means was it difficult to string a guy home from some random bar for you, but it wasn’t something you outright sought after.
“We’ll I’m saving myself for Sasuke!” Sakura says, sticking her tongue out at Ino.
“You’re still waiting on that loser? Give it up billboard brow, if he wants anyone - it’ll be me!” She smiles at Sakura.
“And besides, your names are too similar anyways. If it weren’t for his last name, you two could be siblings. Of course, you’d be the ugly one!” Ino says while holding her stomach laughing.
After some more banter, they look up at you. Curious about your “dickstory, a play on the word “history”.
You smile and say “Well it’s not hard for me to find anyone, but it’s probably not as many people as you think”.
You knew you were attractive, guys told you almost everyday. You didn’t mind them though, as you aren’t a very lustful person, truly minding to yourself and taking pleasure when you want to.
Ino jumps into action “WHO, WHO? Do I know them!? Are they also ninja? How many? How old? How many at one time?!”.
The bombardment of questions makes you giggle. You never knew someone’s sex history could be such an appealing topic, as in your household you were taught that sex is taboo and only for people you truly love. You didn’t follow that rule for long, albeit.
“A few were from some random missions I went on. Not too ma-“ before you could finish your sentence, Sakura said
“Can we guess?”
“What do you mean, guess?” You were confused.
“She means, can we guess who you’ve slept with?” Ino asked with a huge grin.
You thought for a moment. The list isn’t that long, but the people on it are most definitely known to these two. Would it change how they saw them? You thought maybe it wouldn’t be right, as the people you did sleep with didn’t give their consent to their sexual history being stated.
“I’m not sure that’s the right thing to do” you say frowning a bit.
The two girls looked at each other, perplexed how that was a response anyone would give.
“Okay let us guess just THREE and you HAVE to tell us if you have!” They said almost synchronized.
You thought about it. You doubt they’d get all three wrong, but you weren’t going to be happy if they got all three right either. Fuck it. You’d been drinking a bit and the buzz was starting to hit you.
“Fine. Just three.” You said calmly and confidently.
They made the biggest shit faces grin ever and talked amongst themselves.
After about 3 minutes of whispers, giggles, “OMG”s and “no way!”s.. they finally had their three.
“Okay, our first one” Ino says.
You hold your breath. For some reason this is starting to just now hit you, but you don’t want to seem lame and back out now.
“Shikamaru!” They said in synchro.
You burst out in laughter.
“You-you had three minutes and came up with.. Shik-“ you cannot stop laughing.
“SHIKAMARU??” You said at the top of your lungs.
They looked at each other and smiled.
“We just needed a baseline of your standards. You know the guy has had it for you since that damn Genin exam!” Ino said in a fit of laughter.
“I always thought he was gay” you smiled while saying.
“Pshhh, probably is” Ino mocked.
You held your breath, yet again, knowing that their next guess was coming and would probably be correct.
“Okay our next guess is..”
“IRUKA!”
You thought about it. Did it really count as sex? I mean, you both came. He was the first guy that did make you cum.. You thought a bit more. The silence only making Ino and Sakura want to know.
“I mean..” you say, still in thought.
The girls look at each other with mouth wide open and smiling. An eruption of “OMG” and “I CAN’T BELIEVE IT”s came flooding out.
“I guess. It wasn’t really sex though” you were still lost in thought.
“What happened?? Tell us!!” Sakura said.
There wasn’t much to tell them, honestly. You were talking with him one day, friendly, and he invited you over to see his new set up. You went over and it was beautiful, leather sofa with a stunning cherry tree coffee table.
He wanted to show you his bedroom and kept apologizing on how weird he made the comment seem. But you made a sly comment back, something like “I wouldn’t mind if you led me to your bedroom more often”.
And that was really it. You just start kissing and got to his bed, and started touching one another. You could swear that you heard him say “I love you” under his breath as he came, but you were too focused on your own orgasm to care.
After cleaning up, you left.
You tried to explain this to the girls but they wanted more details.
You told them they were wasting their time and better get on with their third person before you just get up and leave.
They pouted.
“Okay,okay. Our third person is…”
“KAKASHI!” Biting their lip as they said it.
Kakashi? You and Sakura’s old sensei? Oh goodness no. You can’t even remember a time that you even slightly hinted at a flirt with Kakashi. Your relationship was very student-teacher respectively.
Now that you’ve grown into a woman with.. curves and breasts, though.. You do think about the even slight possibility of him using you. How his words would sound in the heat of the moment.. how his skin would feel touching you, gliding himself all around you..
You notice yourself trailing off, and not given the girls an answer.
“Hello? Earth to y/n” they say, waving their hands in front of your face.
“Sorry. No. Me and Kakashi never did anything of the sort, or.. even implied so” you said, shutting the girls down immediately.
“I swear that guy is a virg!! I’ve never seen him take any girls around!” Ino says to the both of you.
“Oh, no way. Kakashi is super attractive under his mask, he’s gotta! Or maybe he’s celibate? Hmm..” the two girls thought on it for a moment.
Thoughtful silence fills the air.
“Hey, I’d say you have a pretty good chance, y/n.” Ino says, breaking the silence.
“Yeah! You’re super pretty and if I’m being honest, I’ve caught him staring at you a few times since you’ve become a Jōnin” Sakura states.
You blush. Staring at you? No. You always recognize when men stare at you, even not out of lust. You’re a great ninja, and you would recognize someone staring. Maybe he was using chakra to hide his gaze? Why would he do that? No. Sakura must be mistaken.
All these thoughts ran through your head and you excused yourself as it was well past 2 am.
————————————————————————
Before you knew it, you were home.
You went into your bathroom, washed your face and brushed your teeth. Spitting out the toothpaste from your mouth, you look over at your phone. It buzzes, signaling someone messaged you.
Hayate.
You got excited for a moment, thinking it said “Hatake”. It’s become some sort of thing for you to put peoples contact as their last name. You remember the time you and Hayate shared together though.
The text he sent, though you could only see partial of it through the limited character amount given on the Home Screen, read:
“Hey, was just thinking of you and really think..”. That’s all you could unfortunately read before showing him that you’ve read the message.
After your conversation earlier with the girls, you realize you haven’t had sex in around 7 months.
Damn.
You open the message, now seeing its entirety.
“Hey, was just thinking of you and really think we should see each other again. I know I was just a fling to you but I miss you. Not just your body, but you. Your laugh and face. Everything” the message would’ve been sweet if he didn’t send his dick right after.
It wasn’t a bad dick, but why don’t these men know their dick angles?
It was a photo of himself from his point of view pulling his pants forward to show off his hairy, uncircumcised, hard, veiny cock. He was wearing blue underwear and had black sweat pants on.
Honestly, you probably would’ve ignored the message if you weren’t so horny yourself. “Fuck it. Hayate isn’t a bad looking guy and his dick is pretty satisfying” is all you thought to yourself. You snapped a pic you knew he’d like, it was your hands covering your tits, but still showing most of them off. He loved a bratty tease.
You sent the photo and didn’t think much, waiting for his response.
He responded after about 6 minutes with a video of him.
He was now on his bed, ‘pleasing’ himself. The video was only 32 seconds long, but it was a huge turn on for you.
He started slow, but would buck his hips up for you. His tip was now fully exposed, but his foreskin would still slide up and down it as he went on. His breathing was loud and irregular. He would let out slight groans the faster he went. You could see his dick twitching, just before the video ended.
You took your camera and took a photo of you sitting at the edge of your bed with your thighs touching. Your left hand lay behind you, supporting you up. And your right hand taking the photo. It didn’t show your face in it, only your body. But that was fine. It showed off your tits and beautiful thighs and you knew those were the parts Hayate loved the most.
Before you pressed send, you added a text under it saying “You should come fill me up again”. You bit your lip as you pressed send. You decided to go take a quick shower in preparation for Hayate coming over. You knew he wouldn’t be able to resist the invite.
Only about two minutes into your shower, you hear your doorbell ring. Hayate lived 25 minutes away walking, you doubt he would’ve used all his energy to get to you that quickly. Although you can’t be too sure.
You finish your shower up before heading to the door in just a towel. Hair wet and all, you open the door.
You’re absolutely shocked to see your sensei standing in front of you.
He smiles, “I think you sent this to the wrong person”.
Your mouth agape, you already know what you sent him.
“I.. I um” the only words you can get out of your mouth.
You don’t even know what to say. You just sent an explicit photo to your sensei.
“I’m so sorry” your eyes still plastered to his phone in front of you. You make your way up his phone to his contact name for you, though. Before he pulled his phone away, you read “Future Hatake❤️” you blushed even harder.
You both stand there in silence. You’re mad at yourself for this foolish mistake.
“May I come in?” Kakashi says, breaking the silence.
You’re confused. Does he want to talk about it? Maybe he wants to know who it was for? All these thoughts flood your mind and he makes his way inside your apartment.
“E-excuse me. I should get dressed” you leave and run into your room. You go through your clothes and decide on a white tank top and sleep shorts. It’s your home after all, and it’s well past your regular sleep schedule.
You come back in and find him sitting at the edge of your couch, legs spread and forearms resting on them. As always, he’s unreadable.
You sit at a chair diagonal to him and keep your head down.
“I.. er.. haven’t seen you in a long time” you say, keeping your head down.
“Hmm” he replies.
You can’t tell if he’s lost in thought, upset, sad or whatever it be.
“Who was the message for?” He finally says.
“It.. it really doesn’t matter.. haha..” you say, trying to escort the tension in the room.
He lets out a sigh, stands up and faces you.
“Tell me” he says. His voice deeper than normal.
You’re confused. It’s been months since you and Kakashi have spoken. Why would he care to show up after a text sent to the wrong person? Why does he care??
A question runs your mind.
“How did you get here so fast?” You ask, blankly looking at him.
He looks at you, no emotion in his face.
“I’m always there for you” he stares at you and says. You’ve heard him say this to you many times in the past. You never really held anything to it though, taking it like a friend would say as support.
“Kakashi. What are you doing here?” You say, with a bit of concern in your voice. You know Kakashi is a lot stronger of a ninja compared to you, and could most definitely toss you around if he wanted.
“I’ve had an eye for you since you’ve become a Jōnin. You’ve grown so much” he says, making his way over towards you.
“Be a good girl and lead us to your bedroom, hmm?” he says in the most.. casual tone.
You can’t deny this was a major turn on. But was this right? He’s like, what? 13 years your senior? 14? 15?! Plus, he was your sensei. He raised you when your parents didn’t. You definitely didn’t see him as a father figure, more like an older brother looking out for you.
Were you really going to let this happen? No. No way. You have to tell him no.
“Kakashi, I ca-“ before you can finish your sentence he picks you up like you’re weightless.
He drags you to your bedroom. Did he guess? Has he been to my apartment before? No, never. How does he just..know?
You wiggle, attempting to break free from his grasp. You’re still not all sure if this is what you want, but your core is aching. It wants him to touch you so bad, especially after Hayate’s video got you pent up.
Your heart is racing. Still writhing in his arms, he brings you to your bedroom.
In your squirming from the previous moments, you had lost your loose fitting sleep shorts. Now just in a white tank top and black laced underwear.
You wonder if you’re dreaming. How is this happening? Why? Why to you?!
He places you on your back, and you sit up on your elbows staring at him. His face is a slight pink, and his breathing is a bit erratic.
He puts his knee between your thighs, separating your legs from touching. You make a small noise when he pushes further into you. Staring at his knee, anticipating his next move. He lets out a slight chuckle.
“You’re so adorable”.
“Huh?” You look back up at him. He takes his hands and removes his band, and then his mask. You’ve seen him once without the mask before, so it wasn’t a total shock seeing his face.
He stares at you, and you just stare blankly back.
He then looks down at your breasts, your nipples are hardened by the sexual tension.
You move your head a bit more down, staring at his manhood. Even when clothed, you can tell it’s big.
You both unclothe one another and before you know it, you’re both making out nude.
Whilst kissing you, Kakashi says “I’ve been needing you for so long. That message sent me over the edge”. He puts his hands all on you, seemingly not knowing where to put them.
While on top of you, he spreads your legs and pulls you closer.
His dick sits right on top of your pubic bone, and down to the bottom of your belly button. You’ve been with a fair share of people, none of them as big as him.
You wiggle, demanding his attention to your dripping core.
“Such a needy whore, does Hayate know you chose me over him tonight?” Kakashi breathes out with a smirk.
Your eyes widen. How did he know you were texting Hayate? Did Hayate tell Kakashi? No. They may know each other but most definitely aren’t friends. How long has he been watching you?!
“Well?” He says, finally moving his cock towards your core. His dripping with precum, which mixes with your juices.
Kakashi runs his cock across your clit causes you to wince.
“I know you haven’t been pleased in quite a bit, y/n. You’re so pathetic, I’ve only been here 20 minutes and I already have your clothes off and cock dripping on your needy hole”.
You have no answer to him. He’s right. You’re a needy, pathetic slut that needs him so badly, and he knows it.
You try and give him the most doe eyes you can and say “Kakashi-sensei.. please use me..” you see his shield of cockiness falter for a moment.
“Oh fuck..” he says looking at your eyes.
You open your mouth to say please.. but before you can, he’s shoved his entire length into you.
You moan so loud, and instinctively go to cover your mouth. He grabs your wrist before you’re successful, and puts both your wrists over you head with just one hand. His other one reaches over for your phone. He unlocks it with your passcode, no way he could’ve guessed it. It’s literally just random numbers “18849”. He’s been watching you like he said..
He begins to pump into you rapidly.
“Oh fuck..ah~” you moan freely.
“Which one of these boys should I call? Hmm? Who should I show you’re being such a naughty whore for?” He says between breaths.
“S-sensei ple..ahh.. please d-don’t!” You can even speak with how rough he’s treating your core.
“I’m calling Hayate”.
“N-nO.. pl-pleasee sensei. I’m-I’m yours and… mmmfffggh.. only yours.. ahh..” you plead with him.
He decides not to call him, instead taking multiple photos and videos of you getting pumped by him.
He cums inside your pussy, letting out multiple groans throughout. You’re a bit disappointed it ended so quickly.. or so you thought. He continues to pump into you even after cumming.
“K-kashi… did.. did you..mmgfff~”
“Y-yeah.. I’ll stop using you when I want. You’re mine” he says with complete lust in his eyes.
He starts going through your phone.
You’re scared. You have texts on there, pretty nasty, to other guys. How will he treat you seeing them?
He shames you by reading them aloud.
“‘I’ll be so good for you master’ you love calling people titles huh? You like calling me sensei, huh?”
“P-pleaseeee…~~” you don’t even know what you were saying please to.
All you can think about is how unfair this all is. Yeah you’ve slept around and sexted men, but you’re sure Kakashi has texted his fair share of women.
“Hmmm… these photos you send them. Never thought your sensei would want to see you like this? All weak and pathetic over his cock”
It didn’t matter what he said. You didn’t know if he was saying it to be mean or horny but it was the truth nonetheless.
“I..ah~.. I don’t know..” you told him.
You came around his length.
“Ah..heh~” he says as he finishes pumping the last of his seed into you.
With the last remaining strength you have, you sit up and watch the sperm drip out of you.
You and Kakashi take a shower together, and you immediately pass out in bed, totally satisfied with your dick appointment.
You wake up to no Kakashi and a barrage of messages from Hayate saying shit like “you totally blue balled me but that’s okay I went out with one of your girls”. You just laughed so hard, you knew Ino would have no interest in Hayate, her standards are way too high. And Sakura was telling the truth most definitely about saving herself for Sasuke.
You went through your camera roll and sent him a video of Kakashi fucking you til your brain was mush and sent it to him.
Kakashi is all you want.
No.
Kakashi is all you need.

collage au with toji, sukuna and satoru living together and it’s surprisingly clean and well kept.
mention of emotional & physical abuse from family members and trauma
toji is the most messy out of the three but sukuna hates dirt so when he finds it he cleans it. satoru is a perfectionist who grew up in a tidy mansion so he always has the need and urge to keep his new environment just as clean — he feels very uncomfortable and restless otherwise.
they fuck around once in a while (yes, literal fucking) but it’s mainly because none of them have the actual mental to have proper relationships and despite satoru’s very extroverted behaviour, he actually hates touching people. he thinks they’re dirty, unsanitary, because he doesn’t know how they live and what their hands and clothes have been touching.
sukuna is clean though, he knows because he regularly buys those very expensive bodywashes and puts all their underwear into another cycle just after the first one is done.
toji is clean since he is kinda trained to adapt to his environment. he eventually even stops punching sukuna when he tries to put lotion on his very dry face after a scorching hot shower and he starts washing his hands when he comes home.
they don’t talk about how all of them have sex with each other at least twice a week — trice, if there’s exam stress — and usually the apartment is filled with bickering.
“six, you told me you’d send me that fucking report an hour ago.” satoru just stares at toji in his doorway and clicks his tongue because, yes, he completely forgot.
“have some fucking manners, dude”, he snaps back but sends him the report. they got thrown into this group project for three months with this emo named choso and a guy named ino, not that any of them gave a fuck. they were just laughing at sukuna because he was stuck with four women staring down at him.
there’re also regular outbursts of sukuna throwing items around — at satoru and toji as well — because he feels threatened. by what? they don’t know. they don’t ask. they just go with it and make a game out of it.
“if one of you hits my face i will actually chop your dicks off” is usually what satoru enters the living room with but when the tv remote slams into his jaw ten minutes later, he can’t help but laugh menacingly and throws himself onto the culprit elbow first.
their evenings are filled with study sessions (sukuna and satoru take their academics very serious and toji is just sitting there because he enjoys watching their facial expressions contort into frustrated confusion), playing video games, sex, uno that almost always ends up with sukuna and toji trying to kill each other, bad horror movies that make sukuna hungry, and some times they’re actually peacefully talking with each other until satoru falls asleep.
almost everyone on campus thinks they are dating and neither of them have an issue with that rumor (“it keeps the weird chicks away” sukuna had said and toji rolled his eyes). they don’t even act like couples, more like competitive boxers with too much testosterone (shoko’s words).
even with sukuna’s constant berates, insults and slurs, he loves cooking and always looks for a chance to brag about it to satoru.
“i bet your private chefs at home ain’t shit in comparison to me” or “the michelin chefs your parents are friends with can only wish to be at my level” or “this is my first time cooking this recipe and i fucking rocked it”
toji doesn’t mind at all, he loves all kinds of food, he’s the opposite of picky. whenever there’s something on satoru’s plate that he doesn’t like, he gives it to toji who will happily eat it for him.
sukuna even makes an effort to learn the recipes to his roommate’s favourite foods, perfects them in a few weeks. making mochi was probably way too much effort but he feels very proud whenever satoru brightens up upon eating the sweet treats. he’s glad toji is on the easier side of all this, the man loves chinese food a lot; dumplings, egg drop soup, lamb skewers and some simple noodle dishes.
toji doesn’t look like it but he enjoys the other two men’s company a lot. they never judge him for who he is, they never expect him to be a certain way, and not once did they ask why on some nights he comes home covered in blood. they just tell him to clean up properly and throw his clothes into the washer for three circles. they don’t ask him why he has that scar on his lips or nag him about that massive one that wraps around the left side of his body.
satoru is curious, his eyes speak volumes, but he never says nothing about it and just traces the tissue with his fingertips after sex. sukuna doesn’t even seem to acknowledge it at all, ignores it almost, but he always tells him to apply more lotion to it after scorching showers together.
grocery runs with them are always a complete mess; satoru only has eyes for sweets, toji grabs the next best instant ramen from the shelves, sukuna is constantly scolding them for not eating more healthy, says both of them would have vitamin deficiency if it weren’t for him.
he absolutely hates going out with them to the store but it’s necessary in a way. it’s a way of bonding, they get to buy everything they need once a week and then don’t have to go there for another seven days, and it makes cooking plans easier — and satoru is there to pay because he’s rich and the other two ain’t.
they also always end up buying a few packs of condoms and lube, much to the cashier’s horrors upon reading “extra large” and “strawberry flavoured”
sukuna and toji are rough, absolutely and utterly wild. satoru often calls sukuna an animal with no other instincts than to bite and breed and tear him inside out whereas toji just always knows how and when to abuse his prostate in the weirdest positions — satoru now has to stretch everyday to keep his limbs flexible.
when toji and sukuna fuck, the bedroom turns into a warzone. there’s bite and scratch marks everywhere on their bodies and when sukuna finally gives in and bottoms, neither of them actually make an effort to stretch him. never goes well. sukuna actually cries but he loves pain so it’s okay because satoru gives toji a really big scolding after and then both of them try to somewhat take care of him.
which also never goes well because all three of them never had good experiences with physical touch, nor do they know how to take care of someone else or themselves.
toji was barely holding himself together after graduation high school, having started some heavy drugs when he was sixteen and he never really grew out of it for years because of his fucked up family or his even more fucked up friends.
satoru was homeschooled, had no friends, didn’t know anyone his age — he had no concept of social life, of interpersonal relationships, pop culture. his face never showed any emotions because he just didn’t feel nothing, he felt hollow. nothing in his life brought him joy. his own mother barely paid any attention to him and when she did, there was nothing but hatred in her words.
sukuna grew up with a mother that had fun torturing him, may it be emotionally or physically. when he was younger, still an only child and his father too busy with work, she’s used him to press out her cigarettes, told him to stay still and then watched his face with great interest. there’s a long list of things that he had to endure and he hates remembering it.
they don’t know how they found each other.
i will deffo write more for this au bc i miss toji and satoru terribly

Sukuna holds a clan meeting
Minor DNI - Tags: Clan meeting. Sukuna, Gojo, Geto, Nanami, Ino, Uraume.
At the front of Ryomen headquarters, three men stood awaiting their orders.
"He ask you guys here too?" Satoru threw his hands in his pockets with a slouch.
Suguru nodded, Satoru noted his disappointed gaze. "Yeah, I was just getting ready for dinner too. My stomach's hurting."
Nanami stepped between the two with formally folded arms. "There's four of us. Ino's grabbing his things from the taxi, I just went up ahead."
"Aw, I haven't seen that kid in a while, you should really bring him round more often, Tight lips."
"I told you not to call me that, Gojo."
"Hey guys!" Ino waded over with a large bag clutched over his shoulder.
Satoru gave info a brief wave and grin before turning back to Nanami. "Well you are, aren't you? You must know how Yaga's been too right? Please, tell all."
Nanami adjusted his glasses with a deep sigh before moving intuitively towards the large akamatsu doors. "I do know of Yaga's health, he'll be back in a few weeks I'd say."
"A few weeks?" Satoru whined, hands still in his pockets all balled up and frustrated. "All he does is moan. Don't do that Satoru- you can't kill that guy Satoru. It's been nice just gettin' on with things."
"That's because you've been getting away with murder, Satoru. Yaga wasn't going to stay away forever."
Suguru matched Satoru's pace and Ino trudged behind. Satoru never particularly got in with Yaga, but it was his stupid rules that made him tweaky. So many rules that made nothing fun.
"Well, I'll just have to make the most of it then before his lordship graces us with his presence."
"He isn't too happy with you, Gojo." Nanami cast his gaze to the side only briefly before he pushed the wooden door inwards and entered the hall.
"Oh, I get it. You've been snitching me up, is that it? This is so you, man. Is peeping on people not enough that you have to ruin my fun too?"
"Satoru, that's enough. You get too riled up."
"Why shouldn't I be, Suguru? All he does is spy on people some of us have women to get back to-"
Suguru chuckled and picked up the pace a little to steady himself. "So this is what it's about? You late to see her again?"
They all moved up the grand staircase towards the meeting room, Ino kept himself quiet and observed, following them closely and letting his bulky bag rustle against his clothes.
"Not late, I just got way laid sorting a guy out because he pissed me off."
In honesty, the guy really did cross Satoru even though he gave him a chance not to. The cheeky bastard tried to take a larger cut from the family than what was previously agreed and then tried to take even more than that.
So he lost the tip of his pinkie and then some.
To be frank, Satoru was just bored. But time really did get away from him and now you were at your place talking to Ichiji most probably. He and Satoru should have swapped places.
This was so unfair.
"So you lost your temper again," Nanami dismissed his complaint and led them through the hallway towards the other set of couple doors to the meeting room.
"I didn't- hey kid, how do you put up with this guy?"
Ino stammered a little and bounced his eyes between Satoru and Nanami. "Uh... I won't answer that."
"Nanami, you've frightened the poor kid."
"No, he's just respectful."
The doors to the meeting room opened and there he was, the man of the hour who dragged Satoru here because he was a dick. Sukuna was perched on his seat, legs crossed and leaning his head arrogantly on his fist.
Nanami and Suguru bowed as was expected though by now, Satoru never did.
"Chairman," Nanami acknowledged him and sat down next to Suguru.
Satoru slumped into his chair to the left of Sukuna, leaning back and throwing one leg lowly over so that his ankle was supported. "So what did you need this time?"
Sukuna did not acknowledge him, grimly looking to Suguru instead. "I'll keep this brief because I do not have the patience... Tell me how one of your clubs was targeted and you did nothing about it."
Suguru's face said it all. He didn't know.
"And you." Sukuna glared at Nanami too, "How on earth did you not see it."
The two looked at each other and for once, it wasn't Satoru getting shit on. "I had no idea- which club was it?"
"I saw nothing either. I have cameras but not every pair of eyes to watch constantly."
"That sounds like excuses to me," Sukuna wasn't in the least bit pleased, "I want whoever it was traced and sorted by tomorrow."
Satoru had an idea. "Might I make a suggestion, Chairman?"
"No."
"Why not let my family sort them out?"
Sukuna whipped his head towards Satoru and there remained his look of disgust. "I distinctly remember telling you no, or have you forgotten that?"
He threw his hands up and shrugged. "I'm just sayin' we could get this sorted quickly. If they were able to get under Suguru and Nanami's noses, then we need to hit back just for that disrespect alone."
"I wouldn't say that it was under our noses, we just haven't been informed yet."
"Geto's right, sometimes these things take time," Nanami glanced over at Ino, "Get your computer out."
Ino nodded and lugged the bag to his feet, pulling the material away and pulling a large box out. It was hard plastic, off white with stickers and pen graffiti on it. A little screen on one end accompanied with a keyboard attached to the top of it.
Satoru never got computers, floppy drives and keys for shortcuts and programs named with words he couldn't be bothered to pronounce. He just never saw the point though if he actually wanted to learn he'd be a professional in no time.
This sort of stuff, Ino took to like a fish to water with different keys and clicks on that little screen no one could see.
Respectfully, Ino addressed Sukuna. "First Chairman, my portable computer allows me to store notifications on these floppy drives," he showed one of the discs and inserted it into the side of the box computer thing.
"It basically stores main points the network recognises. It's a work in progress, but I've managed to get it to recognise certain events in certain areas. If what happened in the club is in the area, I'll have a notification of it on here."
Sukuna was not dim witted, Satoru knew there was no need to dumb anything down for the man to get it. "Shinjuku Station."
"Shit..." Suguru shook his head with disapproval.
"That's your baby, right Suguru?"
"The first club I ever bought It's the biggest flow of revenue my family has. Why the hell haven't I been informed yet- scratch that, how have none of us been informed yet?"
Nanami turned to him, rubbing his chin in thought. "Who operates over that club?"
"Miguel. He's the only one I come trust with it, though I know he wasn't there this evening," Suguru leant forward and rested his forehead into his laced fingers, "he's with my wife right now."
"And what about you, Gojo?"
Shit, who was it again that managed that club on his behalf? "Uh, Ichiji handles the rostering... Let me think, uh- oh! it's Hakari."
Wait, that didn't make sense. "Come to think of it, I doubt anyone could give Hakari the slip. Or kick his ass for that matter."
Hakari was a man who minded his own business, yet met on Satoru's level many times. He was a lone horse set to inherit the Gojo family should Megumi refuse it if Satoru bit the dust.
Though that wasn't to happen for a long old while.
Nanami shook his head. "And I know Utahime is head hostess there. She's revealed nothing to me."
Sukuna sighed and it seemed like it was more from boredom than frustration. "So we have a ghost then. That narrows things down."
"I have it!" Ino caught himself. "S-sorry. I mean I have the information you need, First Chairman.
"Out with it."
"So at 4:38 this afternoon, a group of eight men broke in. As far as I can see, no one was hurt but it was before opening time. That might serve a reason as to why the Lieutenant's haven't been informed.
It didn't add up in Satoru's brain. "Then how did Sukuna get the information before us then?"
"Uraume," Sukuna leant back in his chair and pulled out his phone and tapped away at the screen. "Uraume told me, I don't question the sources they have, I just know they're reliable. Maybe you three should take a page out of their book."
The double doors opened without warning and Uraume emerged. Satoru had never actually said a work to them, oddly noting how closely Uraume followed Sukuna everywhere. And when they weren't with Sukuna, Uraume was with his wife.
"You called for me, sir," after the doors closed, Uraume bowed.
"The source you have for this club by Shinjuku station, who is it?"
"Yuji Itadori, sir. He happened to be passing by and informed me of those breaking in, however when he went in to investigate after he informed me, those who entered were not there after."
Sukuna scoffed under his breath. "That little shit."
Satoru wanted to burst out laughing at his response, holding back a smile while they all waited for Sukuna to respond.
"So my nephew happened to be passing and he found out before any of your own people did?"
He addressed all of them, embarrassingly so and neither of them responded beside Satoru. Which in hindsight wasn't the best idea.
But he did it anyway. "This sorta stuff happens, we'll track 'em down and make sure they're sorry. There's not more we can do right now, right?"
Sukuna glared at him, if looks could kill. "Firstly, you can wipe that smirk from your face and take this seriously, Gojo. Secondly, you can assist these two fools in finding out who it is and report back to me. You've had your fun and I won't have you running amok under my name any longer."
Nanami and Suguru lowered their heads respectfully, Satoru took his comment as a challange. "If we don't strike now then they'll think they can do this to more clubs. We're chasing ghosts right now, we can't afford to wait around-"
"My decision is final."
Suguru cleared his throat. It was obvious to Satoru that his teeth were clenched. "Yes, Chairman. We'll get on it and report to you by the end of tomorrow with what intel we can find."
"Good. Utilise this kid too, he has a decent head on his shoulders, maybe more cameras is exactly what we need."
Sukuna got up from his chair and adjusted his robe, taking no notice of the others and leaving the three in the meeting room as he left them alone without his presence.
Satoru slumped down further in his chair. "What a dick."
"This is bad, Satoru. Don't joke about this now."
"C'mon Suguru, it's a classic case of a Yakuza group try'na put their big boy pants on. We've done this before and we can do it again-"
Suguru held up his hand to stop him from continuing. "Please don't bring up what happened in '82. This is nothing like that time."
The incident in '82 was never spoken about. Satoru never got why, it was a blast.
"All I'm sayin' is that we can get this sorted way faster instead of doodling back to Sukuna with information like we're foot soldiers again. We're Patriarch's and he treats us like we aren't."
Nanami stood up and adjusted the cuffs of his shirt under his suit jacket. "Don't poke his temper or this will end badly. I have to go and see what tweaks we can make to the network, I'll be in contact with Utahime and see what went on. I suggest you two do the same and we'll reconvene tomorrow morning. Ino, pack up and let's go."
"Yes, sir."
Suguru got up too and smoothed his hair back with his hands. "Right, I'll come to you tomorrow, Nanami. I'm going to head to the club."
They redid themselves and left in a hurry, leaving Satoru in the meeting room on his own. This was such a pain. A fucking pain now he'd have to take it seriously and rein it in a little.
What a joke.
Satoru and Suguru could have handled this themselves with no issue. Sukuna didn't know what he was doing, picking diplomacy was going to blow up in his face.
And Satoru wasn't about to stand and watch some idiots crawl up under the clan's nose and bite them in the ass.

Loser!boyfriend Headcanons
Tumblr media
this is the sweetest man ever you are not allowed to disagree
he kinda floats from one friend group to the other, but when he started to notice he wasn't really "part" of any of the friend groups he was in, he just stepped away from them all.
the two of you met when Professor Iruka asked you to tutor the blonde and the rest was history. people were always whispering about you hanging around "the uzumaki loser" but you paid them no mind. soon your tutoring sessions went from studying the material to studying how to make naruto uzumaki a puddle in your hands.
you're way more popular than him, so everyone was mad confused when you walked onto campus holding hands with him one day. and when people asked what the hell you were doing holding hands "with the uzumaki guy" you'd tell em' all the same thing.
"i'm holding hands with him cause he's my boyfriend." (naruto's a blushing mess every time you told people)
he follows you around like a lost puppy, sky blue eyes always glancing about. (he's anxious and you're the only thing that soothes it).
he doesn't have a lot of money, but he makes up for it by being crazy attentive to your needs and wants. you're stressed from classes? he's cuddling with you and putting on your favorite movie. you're angry about something and need to vent? he's all ears. also knows where the good cheap eats are around town and saves up money every now and again to treat you to dinner.
gets distracted a lot, especially when you're talking to him. he can't help it, you're just so pretty.
he was insanely nervous meeting your friends for the first time & you assured him that Sakura, Ino, Gaara and Sai were really nice people. when you all got together, they all took notice at how quiet he was and Sakura was the first person to ask him questions about himself.
by the end of the night, your nervous wreck of a boyfriend was laughing and high fiving Gaara and Sai after beating the three of you in a very heated game of Pictionary.
he starts to come out of his shell, showing off the high energy and positive personality you fell in love with. (so much so that other girls start to take notice at how cute "that loser Uzumaki" is).
poor boy doesn't even realize he's being hit on half the time until he tells you about how the nice Hinata girl from his history class asked him what his favorite food was and was recommending that the two of them go out sometime, and you had to politely explain to him that she was asking him out on a date.
takes him a sec to get it, but once he does he's turning down any and every advance from any girl that isn't you. "Ah sorry! I'm gonna be late for a study session with my girlfriend so I can't go out with you!"
loyal baby 💕💖
Tumblr media
how this man is considered a loser, you'll never know.
Kiba didn't exactly float between friend groups like Naruto. he was just kinda of there; people knew of him but that was about it. he mostly kept to himself and, in turn, made himself kind of a loner.
the two of you met at a nearby KBBQ restaurant. your friends had flaked on getting lunch with you and you noticed Kiba sitting outside of the restaurant.
"Kiba right?" poor boy couldn't fathom that you were talking to him. "this might be really awkward and you're ok to say no...but would you wanna get lunch with me? my friends completely flaked and-"
"yes." the two of you spend hours getting to know eachother and when its time to pay the bill, you grab it before he has a chance.
"I would've paid.." he says with a pout that you find utterly adorable.
"I know, but this is on me. You can pay for our next date." (homeboy ends up looking like this😳😳😳)
another date turns into 2, then three, then soon you've got him seeing heaven everytime you stay over in his dorm.
absolutely loses his mind when you call him your boyfriend for the first time. the two of you are out shopping and you see a jacket that would look nice on him. he tries it on and you hug him from behind and say, "Man I'm so glad to have such a handsome boyfriend.."
his brain stops working and he freezes for a few seconds because holy shit he wants to kiss you so hard in this fucking department store. once y'all leave and get to his dorm, he's practically begging to hear you say it again.
"Say it again..please. Call me your boyfriend again." cue makeout session
Kiba absolutely loves cuddling with you. if he's playing a game, he's leaning back against you while you play with his hair. If you're watching TV, he's got his arms wrapped around your waist and his chin on your shoulder. even when you sleep over he wraps himself around your body and loves waking up early to pepper your face in kisses.
when you guys go out, he's always touching you; arm around your waist or holding hands. he loves being the one to hold you and it boosts his ego to see guys glaring at him in jealousy.
lets you pick your favorite hoodies of his because they look so much better on you than him. also will buy some small trinket or little stuffed animal to gift you just because it reminded him of you.
is the first one to say "I love you". he was running late for his class and as he checked his pockets and grabbed his bag, he gave you a quick kiss on your lips before muttering, "love you babe." and rushing out of the door. literally doesn't realize he said it until he's in class and blushes bright red.
he checks his phone after class and sees a text from you that has his heart skipping a beat.
(Y/N): didn't even let me say it back dummy. love you too😘💕
Tumblr media
quiet, mysterious and a huge loner is what people say when you ask about the black haired ponytail man that sits right beside you in your History class.
he's an interesting one; barely takes notes in class and you've caught him sleeping a few times as well. and yet, every test and report that comes back to him shows a bright red A in Professor Asuma's handwriting.
you didn't get the chance to actually speak to him until you were paired up in Professor Kuranai's photography class. you could hear a few of the guys in your class mutter and groan about not getting you as a partner, and to be fair Shikamaru didn't exactly look excited to be paired with you.
the two of you were tasked with photographing nature and, to your surprise, shikamaru knew a lot of hidden gem spots; going to the local park and taking shots of blue jays in the trees, a secret river in a nearby forest. the two of you even went so far as to take a train out to the countryside the day after it rained to get shots of the giant rain clouds.
plus, you two got to know each other really well. soon he wasn't the quiet loner that slept in your History class, but your intriguing and handsome Nara Shikamaru; the same Shikamaru who let you steal bites of his food and the same Shikamaru who gave you his jacket even though he was also cold.
calls you all sorts of pet names as soon as y'all start dating. but as soon as you hit em with a "hey babe, what answer did you get for question 4?" he's blushing and gripping his notes tight. (you really wanna make him flustered, call him sweetheart or my love)
will give any excuse to stay in bed with you. wanna go out for food? he's already ordering it for delivery. wanna go out a see a movie? he's loading up Netflix as you speak. you need to go shopping for new clothes?....well maybe he should go with you just to see how it looks.
pairs up with you for any and all projects. he'll never admit it, but the idea of anyone else (guy or girl) working with you makes him jealous. your his and that's that. he even gets you both matching rings because of it. "just...want everyone to know you're taken.."

Marahuyo Project Eps 5 & 6 Stray Thoughts
Last time, Lorie decided to befriend King and Venice, and joined their club. When someone spray painted the mural of Ino’s ancestor, the other kids and dean blamed King, but Lorie stepped forward to claim she did it as well. The queer club was punished with community service to clean the beach, and the three bonded over their time together. We learned that Lorie’s queer awakening is complicated by her anger at her father’s infidelity (and men as a whole as a result). We learned about a young person who died on the beach, revealed to be a close friend of Venice’s and Archie named Christina. Archie refuses to use Christina’s name because he believes it was her queerness that got her killed, and it’s why he’s trying to protect Venice by demanding she withdraw from her expression of herself. We also learned that Ino’s dad likely left their family for a queer relationship, Ino is admittedly falling for King, and his mom told him directly to not be gay. Also, King’s mom cut his hair in his sleep and I am still pissed about it.
Episode 5: Hunyango
I do love the bits of history and mythology we get at the beginning of each episode. I liked how this one highlighted the journeys of many of the characters.
Few things more powerful than a bunch of out kids enjoying an early morning strut. Poor Lorena, though. She wasn’t ready for this divide between her and Lili.
Oh good. It was just Ino with a torch. I clearly play too much d20 fantasy.
The kids are right. Naming things is hard.
Growing up, my dad thought I might become a priest.
I respect this line that Venice is walking in the conversation with Archie to reach through his walls.
Oh wow. Archie is so stressed that he’s scratched up the whole back of his neck. That’s uncomfortable.
Aw, Venice. I’m enjoying the brainstorming session. It’s good to model what planning communication with people not predisposed to listen to you. I also love that they decided to build their plan around the local context of Marahuyo and then immediately transitioned to Lorie legitimately doing research about her home.
Lorie, your friend looks worried. Can you not look at her lips like you wanna kiss her right now?
Whoa, what’s going on with Lili? Are we going beyond the Q in the acronym?
Ino is also correct. You cannot frame a presentation around a local context without directly engaging with the locals who are the context.
🎶 Flashback! Who’s that?? 🎶
Oh, Ino, what have you been through that you thought to ask before hugging King?
I’m very curious about the statue they uncovered on the beach.
Hold on, did Venice add Christina’s name to hers as a way to honor her? I need to lay down for a bit.
Ah, so we’re definitely going into rare presentation with Lili. I am seated (once I get off the floor from the last bullet).
Oh no. Please stop showing me Archie’s neck. It’s a good visual to show how these internalized pressures and traumas express in physical ways, but oof.
Episode 6: Sirena
Super amped about these kids taking the research component seriously within their specific connections. Lorie got info that her dad has access to as the mayor. Venice got info from the church through Archie. King got equipment so they can conduct interviews. Now they’re all gathered and reviewing the information they have.
“Joining us as an ally.” Wow, so many points to this show for reminding people that sometimes an ally is someone who isn’t ready to or can’t come out. In any case, they are with us in the movement.
Poor Venice. She just doesn’t know things.
Hold on…I think I recognize the Lola Puri actress. I will look her up when we get to the credits.
Good job on this show for priming people with the earlier lesson about babaylans for this reveal here.
Boys, are we doing a gay pinkie touch during the critical history lesson?
Hey, this is really good. They have an oral history now connecting a prized tradition to the yearnings of a respected ancestor for another man who turned on him in a cruel way. Unfortunately, the villain of this story happens to be one of Ino’s ancestors. Sad, but unsurprising, that a homophobe gained prominence for outing and robbing a queer man.
I’m really touched by how all of the kids had such an emotional reaction to the story and how it reflected some of their own feelings. I deeply appreciate this show for letting me see others experience how queer history feels for me.
Goddamit, Marco, I was enjoying a complicated, difficult moment. Can you fuck off?
Thank you, Lili, for destroying this man. Make sure to hydrate.
Who is this man at the dinner table in Ino’s house? It’s probably not the dad, right?
And there it is again: Venice telling Archie that courage isn’t built around coming out. He still helped them where it counted.
I’m so sick of this priest.
I do love Juvy. She’s usually so correct and King actually listens to her.
“Who are you?” “Incorrect answer! I already know your name.”
On the real. I’m so proud of Ino. The first person you have to say it to is yourself.
Oh noooo. This is probably actually Ino’s dad. This scene is about to get even uglier.
Mmmm. I don’t like Lili giving up her shorts and then immediately going to a scene where she has to get rough with Marco.
Wow, this is horrible. What a way to end this episode.
I did recognize the Lola actress! That's Angie Castrence! I knew it was Gavreel’s homophobic aunt from Gameboys 2! This was a great 6th episode with very clear ideas and goals. This episode focused completely on coming out, who it’s for, and whether it’s necessary. I like that we had three characters all scared to come out, but it’s eating away at all of them. Archie is literally tearing his neck apart in anxiety. Ino is say gay and in love that it’s leaking out of him, to the point that he was forced to confront his own mom. Lili has been outed by Marco. I love that all of our out characters reassured our closeted characters that they didn’t need to come out. Can’t believe I’ve got two shows in contention for show of the year right now.

Whether Sakura stans like it or not, Sakura will also be judged on her combat usefulness since she is a kunoichi and they were taught to fight in the academy. Sure, she became a medic but even then, Tsunade drilled it to her that she must be able to fight if the situation arrives. From what we see, looks like she didn't took it to heart as she got one-shotted by Omoi and Naruto had to catch her. At least, Tsunade has shown time and time that she can hold off her own.
Also, why are her stans needed to compare her to other shonen female characters? To validate their queen? To show that their queen is supposed to be better or similar to other shonen female leads? If anything, what they are doing is making her look bad along with them. With all honesty, I'm not a fan of comparing characters from different series written by different mangakas as they wrote their characters to play a role in their stories. Each character is different and while similarities can be noted, its mostly coincidental.
Gosh, I didn't think I would write this long ask but Sakura, Sasuke and SasuSaku stans kinda destroyed my mood.
First of all let’s examine the hypocrisy of Sakura stans:
They want Sakura to be “just from a civilian clan” and “just a medic ninja not meant to fight”
AND
The strongest kunoichi in the series that can easily beat ninja soldier royalty like Hinata and Ino.
Nah pick one Saku Stans.
Also it’s all because those botched polls make them believe Sakura is too good to be compared to Hinata and Ino and they think she can be the queen of Shounen too.
One thing they don’t get is that NARUTO is popular. Not Sakura. People love NARUTO. Sakura is a meme compared to Rukia and Nami.
One thing Nami and Rukia have in common is that THEIR SERIES WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED IF NOT FOR THEM.
Luffy and the crew would be dead or lost without Nami
Bleach started off with Rukia awakening Ichigo’s powers.
This is why Hinata is so much more than Sakura because you have Naruto himself saying he wouldn’t have been here if not for Hinata more than once plus, we literally wouldn’t have Boruto and his interesting powers without Hinata. wtf was Sakura going to pass on? She already made Sarada need glasses.
Sakura ain’t even on the same level as the love interests in the big three. Orihime can bring back characters from the DEAD and limbs from nothing which would’ve embarrassed Sakura had Orihime been allowed to bring back Neji and bring Naruto and Sasuke’s arms back. And Boa is a whole queen of an Amazon island girl bye. 🤭
So I really don’t know what Sakura stans be on about with her.

https://www.tumblr.com/madara-fate/739246648339922944/httpswwwtumblrcommadara-fate7386161854506434?source=share I think you are getting a little confused.
This ask isn't malicious but rather to clarify a little what this comes to. I'm not doing it to make you angry or anything.
That Sakura isn't a main character doesn't mean that she's not needed or that she can't appear. Shikamaru or Sai aren't either main characters and are much more involved in the story, despite Sai being an anbu without an anbu scene (because he's more like a freelance policeman than an anbu). The focus is on the new Team 7 but Mitsuki has a fandom behind him that complains about the poor treatment he gets in favor with others, and you can't deny that he is the one who's ignored the most.
Back to topic.
In Naruto, when a doctor or a medical pov was needed, Tsunade, who wasn't a main character, was used; until Sakura took over from her, but Tsunade always appeared like in the Pain arc doing autopsies, even Shizune, etc. Get the point.
Now we only have pov of Katasuke and Sumire with Amado. There's Boruto being wounded in the chest and no doctors, there's Boro's virus and no doctors (Sakura a master of medicine crafting and poison, the virus was never studied for plot), there are pills for Boruto's Jogan and no doctors, just Naruto trusting the guy that put a bomb on Shikadai's neck. I don't know if you understand what I am talking about.
Sakura is not only a simple doctor, because the only thing she does is to heal, with over simplified medical ninjutsu, two or three characters, preferably those that are nerfed and never a relevant character. Even worse.
She is an emotional support for Naruto, his best friend, a person with a mind and an ability to make decisions. We forgot that Sakura was for Naruto at all times, why is she treated as an unimportant doctor? She is supposed to be close to Boruto and the rest. Isn't it weird she's not involved as a friend and doctor and what happens to Boruto with Karma? Which is precisely the same as the Byakugou? Even haters are asking what is wrong with the writer that she's been sidelined in favor for other characters. Haters! Japanese people on twitter are asking the same thing.
With Kakashi, it's not like Hiruzen didn't have a figure like Shikamaru. Jiraiya and Tsunade could have been elected Hokage just like they did when Hiruzen died. Or did Hiruzen not have an advisor?
Regarding Ino, she has been sidelined and rightfully so. First of all, there is no Yamanaka clan. Inoichi's assistants in the Analysis Team and in the war weren't from his family, they were random shinobi, therefore the clan is 4 people and all dead already. Just her, Sai and the kid, like the Uchiha and Uzumaki.
And all this comes because the Barrier Team was never traditionally led by any Yamanaka, in the Pain arc it was a priest named Kakoi who was the leader, and his team. Kodachi made it all up because he made so many things up in the manga.
Let's see, the team is said in the manga and anime to have been redesigned to automatically detect any chakra signal. It's a machine. So what is Ino for? Every time she detects something so has the team at the very same time. So? Neither she nor the team detects things with one foot outside the village, since Delta and Kashin Koji were on a tree branch at the gates, so she's connected to the sensor barrier and detects what it detects? And what's the point of that?
Because when asked to detect something beyond the barrier, she said she can't, Boruto said that at least he could be detected when pursuing Kawaki but she couldn't either. It had to be Naruto. So if there's a team with random shinobi to blame, what's Ino for?
Because the team have special chakra helmets been used in the War by Inoichi and Ino in the movie for distant communication for great distances. So her telepathy is for what?
This is why she's been impeached. There's nothing to downplay. She was never meant to be there. Her abilities can be performed by a machine so why do we have to blame her on her awful performance when we can blame an npc? Because so far into the story and cohabitation mission, she's pretty replaceable.
Neither she nor her father have sensing feats in Naruto. They're sensor-type because they use their senses to invade another's senses and control them, mind-reading and telepathy. The sensing abilities are superficial, if she saya Sasuke's chakra is different or Kakuzu has dark chakra. I remember Sakura did the same thing in the Iron Bridge with Sasuke. And she's not sensor type. Orochimaru and Suigetsu did it. Kakashi did it. Basic sensory abilities are known to be had by every shinobi (minus Tenten and Rock Lee). So what feats are you talking about?
The fact that he has to use a bird to search for the Akatsuki who weren't far away (ch.332) confirms this, not just the databook. She doesn't have sensory abilities to search for Akatsuki's dark chakra but suddenly she has the ability to search a village symbiotically connected to a machine?
In the war, the Inoshikacho formation that makes her use a sensory relay, the enemies are right under their noses. You can see them in the manga, it's the clones in front of them. Do you understand what I am saying? There was never a single sensory feat.
In the Last? That helmet she wears, which is the same as the one her father wore in the war, is to increase the range of telepathy to wider areas. That helmet is worn by anyone and does the same thing. The reason she wears it is because Inoichi and his family share their chakra in one direction to talk to people, whereas in the war Ino transmitted her chakra continuously to the same one area. In fact, it didn't reach the other Kage until they got close. Inoichi was talking to many groups scattered in many areas around the map located by the sensory division. In the Last? Transmit the chakra in the direction of Kumogakure while Kakashi was having facetime meeting with the Kage, so her role is dubious and rather useless if Kakashi can get a Kage summit looking at the tv screen.
Writers finally read fans comments and removed her, but they also have been removing Sakura from many scenes where she IS needed. And now? Husband and bestfriend isolated but her pov is interesting to see and they don't want to? Suspicious.
Honestly, I don't really care enough about this topic to give a long response to all of that, so if you want to believe that the author hates Sakura and that Ino has no sensing feats in the manga, by all means. It's something you seem quite adamant or passionate about, so I doubt I'd be able to convince you anyway.
What I will say though, is that no Hiruzen had no Shikamaru figure. Jiraiya and Tsunade weren't residents of the village, at least not during his second reign, so they weren't available for selection since their whereabouts were unknown. Hiruzen had the Council, but they didn't serve as his right hand like Shikamaru did to Naruto. Once Minato died, there was no one new who could have easily taken over within the village, like Shikamaru was able to do for Naruto.

okay tell me everything about the baby ask gjhj ( ino ofc )

send me a ship and i’ll tell you -------- EXPECTING EDITION (accepting, tag)
@ak4rin
Tumblr media
Who cries when they find out about the pregnancy: once it sunk in, he'd tear up for sure. he'd hold back and check in about how she's feeling before he was too expressive but he'd have a cute happy nervous energy about him. but after that? he'd probs just kiss her face all over, big golden retriever vibes - huge.
Who says it’s a boy and who says it’s a girl: see, i dont think he'd have a preference, he'd legit just be hyped about being a dad - however, i do think he'd be slightly more anxious about having a girl simply because he knows there's a lot he has to learn and he's up for it!! he just doesn't want to let his girls down
Who suggests ridiculous names: takuma's stance is 'if it sounds cool we should consider it'. like he wouldn't want to name his kid anything too ridiculous, but he would be fine with more uncommon names.
Who suggests using a family name: i think takuma would prefer they don't use a family name (unless it was important to akari).
Who says ‘veto’ to the most names: huh probably akari?
Who reads the most ‘What To Expect’ books:  listen, the second the pregnancy sunk in this man's social media feed would just be parenting influencers and bloggers and whatever. i don't think he'd overly stress himself, but he wants to do things right and he wants to learn and also he'd just be !!! so hyped about it that he'd want to see what others who have already been where he is are doing and how they dealt with things. legit his fav instagram account would be this one (the 'yo, you got one of these things?!' dad)
Who insists on having a ‘gender reveal’ party: i think he'd want to celebrate every lil thing including finding out if they're having a boy or a girl, but no big party needed.
Who thinks ‘Maybe a home birth is a good idea’:  takuma's opinion is that he's not the one pushing the kid out so he'll roll with whatever she's most comfortable with so long as there's people around who have the knowledge to assist her if necessary.
Who is in charge when it comes to decorating the nursery: BOTH OF THEM. they'd probably focus on dif things, but he'd be invested. he'd want something comfy but fun and... haha u think i wouldn't find images on pinterest for this? ofc did. here you go: one, two three, four, five, six. .
Who talks to the unborn baby the most: takuma talks to the belly all the time im being so serious. morning talks, back from work talks, good night talks, etc - i think he'd love to read stories to the belly. i have like a million hcs about this
Who suggests having sex to kick start labor: look. if she was down... he read somewhere... he's up for it if she is... like.. you know...
Who cries the most when the baby is born: exactly when the baby is born idk if he'd cry, but he would for sure cry when he saw akari holding the kid for the first time

Fanfic writing asks, 5 and 59?
Okay, this took a few days to answer but part of that was getting a clear count of my WIPs. I'm defining them as anything I've started with a general premise in mind (so I excluded the ones where I have a scene or two and nothing else). I also wanted to give a quick summary of the idea - so you'll notice that the ones I've already started posting have a different summary here than on AO3.
Question 5: How many wips do you have?  What fandoms/pairings are they for?
Grand Total: 10
Fairy Tail: 4
Bring Your Own Boy - Gajeel x Levy Modern college AU: The Fairies are an all girl cheer squad and if they can manage to make it through the season with no injuries Coach Mavis has agreed to let them bring in guys to stunt with.
Dreaming of You - Gajeel x Levy Soulmate AU: Since Levy was a girl she loved fairy tales. She especially loved the stories about soulmates dreaming of each other long before they meet. Her own dreams of the creepy clearing, people she's never, and dragons are not the same at all. Finding the origins of the myth though, that is right up her alley. Even if it means playing nice with the angry mage who insists he can speak a dead language.
See All My Scars - Gajeel x Levy Soulmate AU, but canon compliant: A soulmark is a dark patch of skin that shows where your soulmate will first touch you. Which is why Levy has been hiding the soulmark on the back of her neck for almost her entire life. Gajeel's soulmark on his fingers is harder to hide. But living with marks in full color may be harder than trying to ignore them.
Moving - Gray x Juvia Drabble collection: Moving forward doesn't always mean moving on. After Fairy Tail's disbandment, Juvia has to face Gray and accept whatever he wants. Even if it's her leaving his life for good.
Game of Thrones: 1
Cursed - Gendry x Arya Modern AU with Good Witch influence: The Stark family was not cursed. Despite opinions (and circumstantial evidence) to the contrary. And there was no way letting Robert set her up with one of his kids was going to fix the curse, even if there was one (which there isn't). Gendry just wanted to know his genetic risk for health issues, since his mom had passed when he was a kid and his dad was long gone before he was born. He didn't want (or need) this many siblings.
My Hero Academia: 1 The Space Between Where I Am and Where I Was - idek how to categorize this one yet What if: Enji and Rei body swap across time due to a Quirk interaction. They could make everything better, or so much worse. There's so much they don't know - about each other, about the dominos that fell to create their initial timeline.
Naruto: 4 Runaway Train - Gaara x Ino A harmless fling, that was the goal. But harmless flings don't leave scars. Even after the physical heals, the heart bleeds.
Harbor Having Fun - multi sips, 13 in total (I love to dream big and then torture myself) Modern AU: Christmas is here and everyone is getting ready for this year's annual party. So Naruto is asking for peace? They can manage that. Kiba just can't find out who Neji is dating, Hinata can't know what Naruto is planning, Tenten needs to face her commitment issues, Ino and Gaara have to keep their cold war civil, Temari has to keep her revenge plan from blowing up in her face, Shino and Karin have a secret, and a snowstorm threatens to strand people in different states. They can do this!
Missed Connections - Shisui x Sakura Soulmate AU: A thin green line and a Sharingan is Sakura's only hint to her soulmate's identity. She's determined to find out who he is. Too bad she keeps running into Shisui. And why is Sasuke being so obnoxious lately?
Family Comes in All Forms - no ships Modern AU: What it says on the tin. In a modern setting, how do the familial ties between the characters exist? Jiraiya adopts three orphans, Gaara spends more time with his mentor's family than his own father, and someone started the tradition of family photos. Sometimes Kushina wants to punch them, because their calendars are way too full.
Question 59: Have you participated in any fic events/writing challenges?  If yes, what were they and did you enjoy them?
I recently tried my own Promptober - that was enjoyable, some of my first postings for couples I hadn't written before and Fall/Autumn got a way bigger reaction than I expected. I didn't complete all 31 days, life went a little crazy on top of general busy-ness in October. Depending on what next October looks like I may start prepping for that in August (give myself time to figure out the prompts).
Generally I get nervous about participating in larger fic events and writing challenges because I'm not consistent with writing every day so there are days when I can output a couple thousand words and days where I just a few sentences. For example, working on Dreaming of You, I kinda wrote myself into a corner and I'm trying to work my way out so I'm writing from Zeref's POV for the first time since he will provide plot information. But it's so foreign to me that I'm getting a few sentences out at a time. But when I first started the fic, I spat out a couple thousand words very quickly since the general premise is based on my experiences with lucid dreaming.

Have you ever thought of Karin potentially being on team 7 instead of Sakura? Would you think it would work?
Honestly, since Karin isn't from Konoha, I have to admit the thought had never crossed my mind. The one I'm convinced should've been on Team 7 is Ino, I am 100% sure their dynamic would've been amazing (unless Kishi gave up on her like he did with Sak, of course). Even now with the work she does in Naruto GT, it'd have made so much sense for Ino to have been the female lead. But I digress 😭
Karin-wise, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. It'd be particularly interesting if her village gets wiped out when she is around 8 or 9 and she is brought into Konoha as a survivor, without most people being aware of her Uzumaki lineage - herself included.
I can see Naruto trying to approach her because he knows she's an orphan as well, and Karin being happy about it at first until she feels the Kyuubi's chakra inside of him, which frightens her and makes her keep her distance from a confused Naruto. This would give Karin and Naruto a conflict to bring them closer together once they're in the same team where, much like Sasuke and Naruto, they were both aware of each other but kept their distance; this time because of Karin.
With Sasuke, to respect the FoD beginnings, we could have Karin running into the woods because she's overwhelmed by the chakra from that year's chuunin exams. Sasuke finds her there because she ended up running into the spot he uses for his target practice. He gets her panic attack so he calms her down showing the same kindness he showed her in the FoD, and when she calms down he gives her a small smile and this really touches Karin. He didn't treat her with pity nor with judgement, and Karin realizes this must be because he's the boy who survived a massacre of his own. Before she can decide if she should bring it up, Sasuke asks if she can sense chakra (he heard that she could). Karin more or less explains what she knows about her ability, and Sasuke immediately starts thinking that this girl could help him track Itachi. However, much like he and Naruto, he starts keeping his distance after this to deliberately keep himself from developing a bond with her. This would also give SK a conflict to work through once they're in the team.
So right there we'd have the first two big changes: Sasuke would already have the idea of having a team of his own, much like he did with Taka; and Karin, Sasuke and Naruto are all aware that they have the pain of loneliness in common, so once they grow to be each other's found-family their three-way bond would feel much more real than Team 7's ever did. After all, they're three confused, hurt, lost kids starved for love and companionship yet putting up barriers where they shouldn't. And when they see the other hurting, they get it.
So all in all, it is an interesting scenario to think about! It's particularly interesting to wonder what would it take for Karin to grow up to be the self-sufficient, no-nonsense, closed-up teenager she is when we originally meet her in the manga, since I've always pictured that being a result of Karin needing to be tough in order to survive in Oto and Sasuke's influence. If we take out the former, I'm not sure the later would be enough to shape Karin that particular way, specially not if she also has Naruto's influence. I guess Sasuke deflecting could do the trick, but would Sasuke have deflected without Karin in this particular scenario when he's already intending to have her track Itachi down? I don't think so. So at the end, maybe both of them would've ended up in Oto either way lol
Though this begs the question, what about Naruto? Would they've been okay with leaving him behind in this setting? Would they have tried to convince him to go with them? Would they've decided to stay instead? Impossible to know without picturing the entire scenario, but it's pretty cool that any of these changes could theoretically be possible lol
Thanks for the interesting question, anon!

I just rewatched Naruto classic and i wonder how would it be if shikamaru had a younger sister who gets a crush on Gaara, like she's like "what's the big deal about sasuke common hair colour , common eye color same village boring" but right after that sees Gaara. I find it sort of funny about how shikamaru always ends up at the wrong place at wrong time, like he just gets back from watching Gaara kill two people and sees his sister getting all blushy, cheering for gaara and fighting with ino.(1)
oh, boy. so, i read all your asks, and god knows you gave me plenty to work with. i've tried to include as much as i can, but it's all a little much for one request and i do have others.
that said, when i saw your asks, i swear to god that the clouds opened up and angels sang while heavenly light shone down on me as i thought MY TIME HAS COME! i have never met anyone else who has had this same idea that i've been holding onto for ten years. so i thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. it truly was a joy to write. like i'm super proud of it, because this premise is fucking adorable, and the reader being a nara is the only way i can use all the figurative speech that i do here. you can pry my metaphors/analogies from my cold, three times dead hands.
masterlist
spotify/youtube
word count: 1984 i can't guarantee that all my requests will be this long. it's a question of inspiration. and cut me some slack, this is gaara. if you haven't figured out yet, he's my baby.
enjoy!
i don't mind your shadows
You weren't sure what hurt worse. Your fingers, stiff from being held in the same position for hours as you practiced your shadow manipulation behind your home, or your heart.
"Gaara's engaged. The council arranged a marriage for him, and he's going along with it. He's okay with who they picked."
"Just okay?" You grumbled at the memory of Temari telling you the latest update on her brothers, one of which you were far more interested in. That had been over a week before, and you were still aching over it. "She's probably gorgeous and important. That's why he's okay with it."
You used your shadow to dislodge a kunai from a tree and throw it at another. "I'm sure she'll look great next to him. The picture perfect political wife."
You fell to your knees, suddenly realizing how low on chakra and strength you were.
"Shit," you mumbled and sat back. Hopefully your brother would come check on you and help you get back inside. You weren't one to lay down and take a load off like Shikamaru, being more like your mother while he took after your father, but you wouldn't deny that laying down and relaxing once in a while did have merit. Eyeing the clouds, you saw one in a shape that made you think of-
You groaned and looked away from the cloud that reminded you of Gaara's gourd.
"Hey."
You turned your head to see your elder brother. He had a little over a year on you, but you were often mistaken as the elder sibling because he usually went along with what you said.
"Hey. What's up? Did Mom send you out?"
"Not exactly. We have guests, so you need to get inside."
"Why?" You groaned. "Can't you tell them I'm not in the mood to entertain?"
"No."
You gave a weary sigh. "Okay, Tell them that I'll be in soon. I just need to catch my breath."
"Don't take too long. You know how Mom is," was all he said before leaving.
"This is one of those times when his reluctance to help does me good," you muttered, closing your eyes and draping an arm over them.
You only had a few minutes of peace before you heard someone approach. It was an unfamiliar gait, so you couldn't tell who by sound alone. The approaching foot steps stopped, and you were tempted to move your arm, but that felt like admitting defeat.
"Give me just a moment. I went a little too hard with my training," you explained.
"I don't mean to rush you," a low voice said, making you shoot up straight.
"What are you doing here?" spilled out, and you immediately winced in shame. "Sorry. Forget I asked. You owe me no explanation, Lord Kazekage."
"I thought we were past the formalities."
A surge of bitterness ran through you, and your voice betrayed you again. "That was before you were betrothed. Out of respect for your fiancée, until I meet her, I don't think I should address you in such a familiar way."
"Why not? Everyone else still does."
You bit the inside of your cheek as you got to your feet, trying to come up with a good answer. You didn't think "but how many of the others have been in love with you for years?" would fly.
"I just don't feel right about it," was what you settled on. "Is she here with you?"
"No, she's not," he replied cryptically.
"You left her back in Suna alone? Will she be all right?"
"She's not in Suna. Hakuto is no longer my betrothed. She had someone else, and I wouldn't enslave her in a marriage where she'd likely be unhappy for the rest of her life."
The name rang a bell. "Hakuto? I've heard that name-"
Your eyes went wide as you realized there was a lot more to the pair you helped Shikamaru get settled within your clan's protection than he let on. The bastard couldn't give even you a full disclosure?
"She was the one?" Your heart sank a little. She would have looked perfect beside Gaara, all right. Beautiful and regal in appearance, that's all many leaders needed, but you guessed there was more to her than that if he was willing to go through with the arrangement.
What would the next one be like? You didn't doubt that the Suna council would continue to badger their young leader.
"I-I'm sure you'll have no problem finding another one," you weakly offered some semblance of support, but it was so hollow.
"I'm not so sure. My past is still a bit of a deterrent to some."
"Some," you softly laughed. "They'd have to be insane to not give you a chance based on who you were all the way back then. You've changed so much from the boy I saw fighting Sasuke in the exams, and anyone who says differently is lying. If they really let that keep them back, then they have no idea what they're missing. I mean I'd-"
You cut yourself off before you could say anything that would be considered inappropriate. But you wanted to say it. You wanted to say it so badly.
I'd give anything to have that chance.
"You'd what?" He pressed.
"I'd say that there are still more women than you could possibly imagine that would line up just for the chance to stand at your side, and not because of your position. I just hope that the next arrangement I'm sure they'll try to force on you will be with someone that will enable you to find further happiness."
You offered him a small smile. "I'm sure the next one will work out."
"There won't be another arrangement."
Your eyes widened a bit. From what you'd heard, his council was downright tyrannical when they could get away with it, and they were obsessed with having an heir for him to pass the mantle of his title to.
"That's wonderful. You get to choose what you do. I think it's dumb that they were pushing that on you. None of the Hokage were pressured like that."
You cursed the way your heart leapt in your chest as his gaze swept over you, feeling like it was pulling at a leash. He may have been let off the hook, but that didn't mean anything for you. No, he was still the Kazekage, and most of the time, you just felt like all you would ever be was Shikamaru's sister at best. It wouldn't be right for you to make your feelings known. Powerless as you ultimately were, they were your burden to bear, and yours alone.
"Thank you," he said, to which you nodded.
"Well, you didn't come out here just to tell me that, did you?"
"No, I didn't, but it is along the same line."
You tilted your head a bit as your curiosity deepened. "Okay?"
He softly sighed, and for the first time ever, you saw him as nothing more than a nervous young man. Not as a great leader, or a strong shinobi. Just a man that couldn't help his apprehension.
"They presented me with a suggestion before Hakuto, and I said no. They actually really pushed for the first option, but I wasn't going to let them pressure her into it."
You weren't quite on Shikamaru's level, but your intellect was nothing to scoff at. Even then, it didn't take a genius to figure out what he was hinting at, and your mind blanked as you attempted to formulate a response.
"And what if they didn't have to? What if she jumped at the offer? What if she's one of the women I mentioned a minute ago?"
It all came out in a jumble, and you wondered if he even understood what you said. It was clear that he did as you swore you saw the fear flee from him, and he was suddenly the same man you'd always seen. It was a little disappointing as you realized you'd never seen him appear so human before, but it was minimally so.
"If that was the case, I'd say I still didn't want them to make the offer. I would wish to do it myself, after taking a little time to actually court her. The only arrangement I would agree to would be strictly between us."
All your previous exhaustion was replaced with an energetic charge that could have propelled you over the house.
"Why me?" You questioned, voice weak despite the elation in it.
"Because even though the first time you saw me was when I was at my worst, you never made me wonder if you were afraid of me. Any time those exams were discussed while you were around, the others would gloss over the darker details and glance at me, and I know they were looking to preserve my feelings. You... You never did. You're like Naruto, accepting all of me as I am and as I was with no judgment. Like just a moment ago, whenever you bring up that time, you don't change, except-"
A smile dominated your face as you reveled in his words. It was absolutely insane, but even with everything you'd heard about him from Shikamaru and the little you'd seen of him in that state... You just weren't afraid of him. Your brother claimed brain damage was involved, and maybe he was right, but every time you looked at Gaara, you could see past the mania to the heart that struggled so much. That first day, and every following encounter just showed you someone with a lot to give, but had a deficiency of the love needed to teach him how to do that. His willful transformation proved you right.
"Except?" You questioned, encouraging him to finish his thought.
He appeared purely human once again as he grew slightly bashful.
"Except when you seem to become happier by talking about it. When you saw me for the second time after we returned with Naruto and the others, it was like you were excited to see me."
You didn't know if you were embarrassed that he noticed or not. You'd say not.
"Either way, you've never shown any fear," he continued, and you saw a spark of emotion in him, as well as a little bewilderment. He seemed to get a little lost in his thoughts. "I know I never hurt you directly, but you still know what I was like. There are still some people who have as much experience with me as you do that can't look me in the eye."
"Gaara," you spoke up, voice soft but clear, drawing him back. "I deal in shadows. Literal or figurative, I'm not afraid of yours. Everyone casts shadows in one way or another, but when the light shines on them, they all disappear."
With a little smirk, you used the very last ounce of chakra you possessed to link your shadow with his, causing him to step closer as you did. When you were nearly toe to toe, you released him.
"And for the record, the darkest shadows are cast by the brightest light. Your past and any other shadows are always going to stand out when compared to who you are now. That doesn't mean they have any power. They can't do anything unless you put up obstacles to block the light and allow them to grow. You're not someone who does that. I know you never have been. You're so bright, and I'll gladly stand by you."
The ensuing smile from him lit you up like a lighthouse.
"Thank you," he said, barely above a whisper.
As you stood there, you noticed the shadows the two of you cast in the light from the lowering sun. They were unified, and you took that as a very good sign.

Ruin the Friendship
Tumblr media Tumblr media

⋇✦ Length: 2.5k+
⋇✦ @gaarasandpit just a angst/fluff naruto x reader request if you’re up for it 🥰 maybe where the reader and him are somewhat close friends and he notices she’s drifting from him because her feelings get in the way? he’s oblivious and hurt about it then confrontation happens ending up in a good old love confession
Tumblr media
“Cmon! Open up!” Naruto called from outside your house, pounding on the door like he had been incessantly for the past five minutes. “I know you’re in there!”
He did not, in fact, know whether or not you were in there, but he couldn’t imagine where else you would be.
All week you’d been missing; Naruto couldn’t find you anywhere. Sometimes he would see the flick of your hair from the corner of his eye or his ears would pick up the sound of your laugh, but by the time he turned to find you, you’d be gone.
Your absence in Naruto’s life wasn’t something of a minor inconvenience; it was a constant pain, as if he was missing a part of his own body. Iruka had joked that Naruto missing you was akin to that of a phantom limb, like there was something of him that should be there and it wasn’t and he ached because of it.
“No, Naruto. We haven’t seen her,” Shikamaru shrugged. Ino nodded her agreement.
“Sorry. Maybe she’s on a mission or something.
Naruto frowned, sighing in frustration. “Alright, well, thanks.” He muttered before he sulked off. Shikamaru and Ino watched him go, waiting until he disappeared before Ino gave you a kick under the table.
“Ow!” you whined as you crawled out from underneath, rubbing your shoulder.
Ino rolled her eyes at you. “You’re lucky Naruto’s an idiot, or he definitely would have seen you.” She told you as you slid yourself down into the seat next to her. “Remind me: why are you avoiding him again?”
Propping your elbows on the table, you rested your head in your hands as you gave a forlorn sigh. That was a loaded question. You were avoiding Naruto because the absolute worse thing that could ever occur had happened.
You’d fallen in love with the idiot blond.
And how could you not? You’d been best friends with Naruto for the longest time. He was a constant in your life, always at your side. It was rare that one of you was seen without the other.
There was no one in the entire world that could make you smile or laugh the way that he could. Whenever you were sad or hurt, he always had the words to make it all better. Naruto had the type of smile that could save people, and you were no exception. There wasn’t a person in the world that could meet someone with a heart like Naruto’s and not walk away changed.
It had been a slow thing, a soft, unsure growing. It wasn’t a feeling you’d recognized at all once, because you always loved Naruto.
It wasn’t totally strange for you to get excited when you saw him or miss him when he was gone. It wasn’t unusual to think about him before you went to sleep.
But when you began to wake up and your first thought was, “my god he’s beautiful” when you looked at the picture of the two of you on your night stand, that was a little strange. You never used to spend extra time in the morning doing your makeup when you knew you were going to see him soon.
And you never used to blush when he smiled at you. Even you could tell you laughed a little too hard when he said something even remotely funny.
It was one day when the two of you were taking a walk that it happened. He was telling you a story, his motions large and exaggerated. Of course, he wasn’t paying attention to where he was going. As he turned to you, arms raised high over his head, his foot hit a rock. Naruto went sprawling to the floor, rolling across the ground and landing flat on his back.
You burst out laughing at the scene, hurrying to kneel at his side. “Are you okay!?” You asked him between giggles.
Naruto’s face was bright red with embarrassment as he laid on the floor. He looked up at you, smiling sheepishly. “Oops…”
It was such a simple thing, but you’d looked at Naruto and thought, “I love him so much.”
Nothing had ever startled you more.
Of course you loved Naruto; that was a given. It was never anything that needed to be thought or said. It was just a fact. But as soon as you had thought the words, you knew that it was different this time. You didn’t just love Naruto.
You were in love with him.
You’d hoped that the feelings would fade. Maybe it was just a fluke or a passing crush. Day in and day out, you waited for your feelings to go back to normal, but now that you’d acknowledged them, they only seemed to grow stronger. It got to the point where you couldn’t even look at naruto without turning into a blushing mess. It was pathetic.
So you’d decided there was only one reasonable solution: you would have to avoid him for as long as it took for the feelings to go away.
And of course you didn’t want to stay away from him. Being with him was as natural as breathing. But the way you saw it, if he found out about your feelings, your friendship could be ruined forever. This way, you could take some space, move on, and resume your friendship like nothing happened.
But Naruto wasn’t making that easy.
You hadn’t realized just how much time you and Naruto spent together until you were trying to distance yourself from him. He was everywhere. Every meal, every free moment, he was by your side or trying to be at least.
“Wanna go eat?” “Wanna go train with me?” “Let’s watch a movie!” “I heard there’s gonna be a festival in the next town over!”
You couldn’t get away from him. So this past week, you’d taken to hiding from him every time you saw him, deciding it was easiest to just avoid him completely. In all honesty, you couldn’t believe just how much time and effort Naruto was putting in to trying to find you.
But of course he was putting in effort. Because you were his best friend and he couldn’t understand it; where you’d gone or why you weren’t talking to him. Had he done something wrong? Were you mad at him or something? Your absence in Naruto’s life was drawing out every insecurity he hadn’t even realized he still had. He was worried, drowning in anxiety.
What if you’d decided you didn’t want to be his friend anymore? Maybe you were annoyed with him, found him to be too much. When you and Naruto had first become friends, he thought it was too good to be true. There was no way that someone as nice and pretty and cool as you would want to be friends with him. No one had ever wanted to be his friend before.
But there you were with your sweet smile and calming presence. You had accepted Naruto, every piece of him, without question or reservation. You meant everything to him, so the thought of losing you had sent Naruto into a panic.
You’d managed to avoid Naruto for a full week and a half. The past three days, as far as you knew, he hadn’t even made an effort to find you. It was a relief and heartbreaking all at once. You needed your space, but it hurt to think that maybe Naruto didn’t miss you at all anymore.
These were the thoughts racing through your head when you crawled into bed that night. You doubted you’d be getting much sleep; you’d barely gotten any since you had started avoiding Naruto.
Pulling the covers over yourself, you closed your eyes and tried to get comfortable. It seemed like hours you laid there awake before tiredness finally started to drift over you. You could feel yourself slowly dozing off to sleep when a sudden loud noise startled you awake. Sitting up quickly, your eyes darted to the window where the noise had come from.
Naruto had forcefully pried open the window, shoving himself not-so-gracefully through the opening and crashing onto the floor.
He quickly jumped to his feet, rubbing his head with a small wince before his eyes landed on you, widening slightly.
“Ah ha! I got you!” He shouted victoriously, pointing his finger in your direction. “You can’t hide from me anymore, believe it!”
God, he was too cute for words and that was exactly the problem. Your heart practically burst just looking at him as he appeared so accomplished and excited.
But the triumphant look on his face slowly vanished as he stared at you. When he spoke, his voice came out quietly, dripping with dejection. “Where have you been?”
Quietness settled over the room as the two of you stared at each other. Naruto made no move to get closer to you, and you likewise stayed strapped in your seat. “I’m sorry…” You offered weakly, unsure of what else to say.
“Don’t be sorry!” Naruto snapped, anger quickly replacing his despaired features. “Tell me why! What the hell? You think you can just avoid a guy? Cut me off like I’m nothing to you!?” He was trembling, his usual happy grin twisted into a broken grimace so despondent it took you off guard. You had caused that hurt that Naruto was feeling. The thought made you sick.
“If you don’t want to be my friend anymore, at least say something!” Naruto spat. “Don’t just run from me like a coward! If you have something to say, say it to my face!”
There was a harsh edge to Naruto’s voice that he never used with you before. Not in all of your years of friendship. You realized suddenly just how badly you’d hurt Naruto by avoiding him. It wasn’t something you’d considered; you’d only wanted some space so you could get back to normal with him.
But you saw it clearly now, the damage that you had done. Suddenly, in this moment, he was the lonely, isolated child that he had been before you met, feeling alone and abandoned in the world. And this time, it was because of you.
The regret was like bile on your tongue, and you wished fiercely that you could take back the past week and do it differently. You couldn’t stand the thought that it was you who had caused this damage to your best friend, the guy you loved so much.
You didn’t have any words to fix it. All you had was the truth.
“I love you.”
The words slipped from your mouth before you could pull them back in. And once they were out, they couldn’t be taken back.
Confusion quickly settled on Naruto’s face. It was as if you could see the anger dissipate from his body. He stared at you, mouth slightly agape, while he tried to process what you’d just said. “You… What?”
Turning bright red, you pulled the blanket back over your head in embarrassment. You couldn’t believe you’d just said that! Now there would never be any going back to the way that things were, but you had to tell him. You couldn’t just let him think that you were cutting him off without reason.
“I said I love you…” You muttered from under the blanket. “I’m in love with you, Naruto. I have been for a while now, and I didn’t want to ruin our friendship. So I thought if I just took some space and didn’t see you for a while, then maybe I would get over it, and then we could just keep things the way they were…”
It was much easier to get the words out when you were under the blanket and couldn’t see him, but you were still nauseous with anxiety as you told him how you felt. Your heart was steeling itself for rejection as you waited for his response.
The only noise was shuffling as Naruto came to your bed. You could feel the indent as he sat down next to you. He grabbed your blanket, slowly peeling it off of you and despite your reluctance, you let him.
You didn’t look at him as you pushed yourself back up into a sitting position. You’d never been so embarrassed before.
“Did it work?” He asked you quietly.
Fidgeting with the hem of your night shirt, you mumbled, “Did what work?”
“Are you over me?”
The question took you off guard, lingering between the two of you, and you couldn’t help but flicker your eyes to his. He was staring earnestly at you with those wide blue eyes you loved so much. You wanted to lie to him but you just couldn’t.
“No.”
Naruto’s focused expression stretched into a wide grin as he wrapped his arms around you, hugging you to him. You were too startled to respond, so you just stared at him, confused, instead.
“You scared me!” Naruto laughed happily as he rested his cheek against your head. “I thought you didn’t want to be my friend anymore! You didn’t have to completely avoid me, ya know.”
There was a mix of relief and disappointment at his reaction. So, he wasn’t weirded out about your confession? Things didn’t have to change. The two of you could stay ‘just friends.’
“So, we’re okay?” You asked him nervously. “We’re still friends?”
Naruto gave a puzzled hum as he pulled away from the hug to stare at you. He raised his eyebrow as he studied you for a moment. You could almost see the light bulb go off above his head as he realized.
“Oh!” He laughed, grinning sheepishly and rubbing his neck. “I guess I forgot to tell you it back, huh? I thought it was obvious! I love you too, believe it!”
You blinked as he giggled embarrassedly, that signature smile of his on his lips. “Naruto!” You snapped at him, lunging and knocking you both off the bed. He landed on his back with you on top of him as you rubbed your fist into his head. “You dummy!”
“Hey! Cut it out!” Naruto whined, squirming under your touch. “Is that any way to treat your boyfriend!?”
The question was enough to make you stop, your mouth frozen in a surprised “o” shape, just like he hoped. He laughed, sitting up and holding you to him before he placed a happy kiss to your cheek, making your face flush over red.
You placed your hands on his shoulders, looking at him as it finally sunk in what he said. He loved you too. He called himself your boyfriend. “Is that your way of asking me?” You questioned.
Naruto nodded earnestly. “And my way to get you to stop giving me a noogie! It’s a win win! Well, if you say yes, that is…”
Shaking your head, you laughed as your whole body softened in relief. Your arms slipped around his neck as you hugged him tightly. “Yes, obviously!” You told him. “Yes! I love you.” Naruto hugged you back just as fiercely. When he finally pulled away, he didn’t hesitate. His hand reached up to cup your cheek as he leaned forward, pressing a sweet, soft kiss to your lips.
Well, you guessed your friendship was officially ruined. But suddenly, you didn’t mind so much.

a little different but imagine it’s the period of time when Naruto leaves to train with Jiraiya, Sasuke is gone, and Sakura is training with Tsunade. Sakura doesn’t know it but almost every day when she’s out in the field with Tsunade, Kakashi is there too. he’s sitting up in a tree where neither lady can see him, watching as Sakura hones her skills and develops her strength. he’s SO PROUD of his girl and how much she’s grown as a person and as a ninja. one day Gai finds Kakashi and he joins him in the tree. they sit quietly for awhile, watching, when Gai says “you must be happy that she’s doing so well.” Kakashi doesn’t say anything, he just nods, and Gai goes on to say that he’s heard Naruto is accomplishing great things with Jiraiya, and Kakashi kind of sighs and tells Gai that yeah, of course his students are doing great, because they’re not HIS students anymore, and Gai asks what he means and Kakashi gets quiet and says isn’t it obvious? I failed them. all three of them. I couldn’t help Naruto with the kyubi, I couldn’t help Sakura get stronger, and Sasuke? I failed him most of all. even if he is with Orochimaru, I have no doubt he’s learning more and growing stronger than he ever would have with me. Gai is surprised that Kakashi feels this way, and while he’s struggling to think of a response Kakashi goes on to talk about Obito, and Rin, and how badly he failed them as well, how he couldn’t protect them. He says he hopes Minato-Sensei can’t see him now, because he had such high hopes for Kakashi’s life and look where he ended up. finally Gai puts his arms around him, holding him as he speaks. he tells him that he knows better than anybody how deeply Kakashi cares about those around him, how much he loved Obito and Rin, and how much he still loves his students. and yes, Gai says, they’re still his students and they still need his support and guidance. down below, Rock Lee comes and joins Sakura and Tsunade during their exercise routine, something he does once in a while. Gai points and says “See? My Lee is down there, working with another teacher. But I don’t feel like I failed him because he’s seeking out the guidance of someone else. That’s what life is; getting as much help as you can from as many people as you can, to get stronger. That’s what Sakura is doing, that’s what Naruto is doing. It doesn’t mean that they don’t still need you, Kakashi. And Sasuke? He will find his way back some day, I’m sure of it. And when he does he’s going to need you, and all of us, to get stronger and to heal. So let’s work at being the best we can be, for when that day comes. Okay?” Kakashi doesn’t answer; he’s crying now. He clings to Gai and lets out the tears he’s been holding in for so long, and Gai pats his back, comforting him. when it seems Kakashi’s finally pulled himself together, Gai cups his face and gives him a gentle kiss, brushing away the remaining tears with his fingers. “You feel better now?” Kakashi nods, smiling. Below them the training session has ended and Tsunade has left, leaving the two kids alone. Rock Lee looks up and spots Gai and Kakashi in the tree, and runs over to them, with Sakura following. “Kakashi Sensei! Were you watching? Did you see the way I broke that rock in two?” Kakashi nods and pats her head. “I did. You did very well, Sakura.” and then she tells him that she has a small mission coming up that Tsunade assigned her and Ino, to go to a distant village to retrieve some rare medical herbs from a contact there. She asks if Kakashi will come along as a jounin escort, because “There’s nobody that I feel safer with than Kakashi-Sensei.” Kakashi is touched and has to clear his throat a number of times before he can ask when they leave, to which she tells him tomorrow. Gai smiles and says that since their two students have been working so hard, it seems only fair to treat them to some ramen, to which the kids cheer and the four of them walk along in the twilight to Ichiraku’s and yeah.

Tumblr media
Ever since his fake death, Itadori has been training alone with the help of Gojo - and now, he works along a freshly new face, who belongs to a senior, founds out ex-salaryman named Nanami Kento. He's far a thousand times more strict than Gojo. Itadori doesn't really likes the change, because Nanami is a person he can't get along. This whole guy's appearance scream "work 4 life"; he has proved different, now he screams "work is shit - but I gotta do it because others won't".
They've just finished cleansing the outside of a movie theater off a few curses, when Itadori hears shouting from far behind them. Two figures approach, waving excessively. He quickly picks on Nanami's tired sigh beside him.
"Nanami! We figured out you'd be here! Our mission has been finished and we wanted to catch up to have lunch together!" A male clad in a full black outfit shouts, he has brown hair and a beanie on top of his head, looking quite content.
The other person simply trots next to him in silence, approaching with a friendly smile. They notice Itadori faster than the male, smile widening and quickly waving hello, suddenly eager to reach up to them. The gesture makes the pink haired boy perk up, curious to why the other person looked so joyful. His question is easily answered, when they tug on the man's sleeve and motion to him.
"Ino, we have a third buddy!" The dude looks at him with widened eyes. "So nice to meet you, I'm Y/N L/N! It's great to see new faces around!"
Itadori smiles at your energy, knowing already he would click with you very well.
"I'm Ino Takuma, sorry for not noticing you before! Your uniform looks cool." Itadori exchanges a few compliments with Ino, before the man turns to talk with Nanami, leaving him and you together.
"Yes! I'm Sukuna's vessel, Itadori Yuuji-desu! My type of woman is Jenn-"
You turn to him. "So, are you a first year?"
"Geh? Weren't you dead though?!"
"I was!- I am!- Please keep secret."
"Okay!"
"Ahem." Nanami coughs, drawing attention. "I requested you two to not come after me today. Itadori here is the reason why."
"That's no problem, we're very capable of keeping secrets." You threw your arm over Itadori's shoulder, him nodding along with you.
"Oh really, then remember to keep quiet about it. I'll let this slide." The group of students nervously at Nanami's intimidating tone. "But, I'll get to have my break alone."
"Gah!" Ino exclaimed, watching Nanami walk away; he also left the responsability of taking care of Itadori for you two, leaving without a word. "It really had to be today, when Nanami would take us to his favorite bakery..."
"Crybaby." You teased. "Itadori here can't go outside where anyone can see him, he's dead. So, we were to order food either way because he shouldn't be left out."
"Augh okay, it would be unfair."
"So, where are you staying Itadori?"
"At Gojo's state!"
"Whoa, I've never been there before." Ino commented, waiting as you sent a message to Ijichi to pick them up.
"He's my teacher, a very cool one!"
"I imagine! Ooookay, once we get there I'll get the food."
Itadori felt as his chest would burst of excitement, finally there was people around him again, he couldn't be less happy about it.
"Sharing is caring!"
Itadori laughed as you wrestled with Takuma for some fries, netflix long forgotten in the background, as watching the banter was way more entertaining. Most of the time, Ino rambled a lot about Nanami, while he rambled a lot about Gojo. The guy even showed him the cool scar under his beanie. He felt kinda upset after explaining the exchange was just temporary, his stay under Nanami's wing wasn't decisive, and therefore, he was more like a classmate than a partner.
Itadori also learned a lot about you. He was surprised to find out that you, although energetic, was the one to speak the lesser in conversations. His surprisement grew even bigger when you told him you're a exchange student from Kyoto, arriving Tokyo about the same month as him - thankfully, you were to say for good.
Conversations flowed easily in the air, until a voice from the doorway barged in.
"Yuuji-kun! Don't forget about your lessons! Hi kids! Bye kids!" Gojo said playfully, throwing the familiar punching bear to Itadori before leaving.
"What's this thing?" Ino asked.
"It's to help me control my cursed energy. So while I watch the movies, if I don't charge it with cursed energy it punches me square in the face. I thought I had mastered this thing already, but he insist I keep training with it." Itadori grumbles.
"At least it's cute." You commented, taking a sip of your drink.
"Until it punches you in your face without warning!" The pink haired boy barks.
The talks died down, the three of you eating quietly when another movie is played on the screen. Itadori didn't bother reading the title, it was a plain one about a zombie apocalypse that got him extremely bored, yet he kept watching still so the plushie didn't punch him in the face again; he's been keeping a record since all his last cursed energy training lessons were a sucess to this day. When his head started nodding and eyelids dropping Itadori can't remember well, about fourty five minutes of movie perhaps? Make it fifty, the second slumber took over his body completely.
When he awoke once again, it was near midnight, the clock on the wall told him so. He also noticed a soft and warm surface supporting his head, figures, it's your shoulder he's resting into, he feels an arm around his own shoulders and your cheek placed upon his hair.
"Hey, it's late." You immediately notices he's awake, calling out softly. "You should sleep on your room, or something, better to your spine."
He chuckles when you poke his side. "But I'm comfortable here."
"I'm surprised, you just met me today, and now is sleeping on my shoulder."
"I'm not, that happens often to me."
"Sleeping on people's shoulders?"
"No! Making friends quickly." Itadori likes your gentle warmth, your hug, everything makes him feel at home. "I met two more people before you for two weeks, but they can't see me, because I'm dead."
"So I'll keep you company, that's my new mission."
His eyes widen at that, a oh so little blush covering the tip of his ears.
"For how many time I slept anyway?" He asks.
"About two- no, three hours. You missed two movies, and this one is about to end."
"And you stayed here the whole time?" He motions to your shoulder.
"Yep. That reminds me I gotta pee."
Itadori grumbles, but quickly lifts himself off you, respecting your needs. That gives him some time to look around, he notices Ino is gone, and the plushie sits quietly at the other side of the couch, unmoving.
"Y/N! How did you manage to make it quiet down?" He's beyond bafflet.
"...que."
"What!"
"I said!" You arrive quickly at the doorframe, hands still wet from when you washed them. "I used my innate technique."
"Oh! How is it like?"
"It's kinda funny, gimme a moment." You left to wipe off your hands, coming back in a second. "So, just like Shoko, I produce reverse curse energy, but it's quite different than hers, I can't heal people. That's why we often call it positive energy instead. I can use it to soothe off negative energy, so the bear has no cursed energy right now."
"How does it works on people?" He felt very curious about everything, asking away like a kid.
"Since everyone has negative energy, it just makes you sleepy really. But when it comes to curses it's really practical, I can either weaken it or, if the curse is like grade three or four, I can slap them off existence completely by wiping all their energy." You were naturally proud of having a such versatile power, your own energy swirling with pride around you.
"That sounds amazing! Is it why I fell asleep though?"
"Nah, only if I did it on purpose. I guess you were just tired, hope you don't mind I decided to let you rest today."
"No way, it was a good nap."
You nodded. "By the way, Ino left to attend to a drinking party, he paid for our food."
"Drinking? Is he old?"
"Yeah, he's twenty." You chuckled, already expecting that kind of reaction.
"No way! He looks young just like us!"
"That's totally my reaction after I learned he's twenty!"
After that day, you started visiting Itadori weekly to daily, after exchanging numbers he made a little group with you and Ino, naming it the "Nanami trio". But really, he exchanges more texts with you in private, be them memes, cool images he wish to share, etcetera. Although, Ino wasn't left excluded, he ofter brough his xbox to connect to Itadori's tv room and you all would spend hours playing together; he just didn't spend much time with both of you as much. And that was okay.
For a few days, your connection with Itadori died down when he didn't reply to your texts. They would remain unread for some time, the longest being half a day, until he would spam apologies then move on with the topic. That became a routine until one day when you came over to check on Itadori unnanounced, needin to ease off your worries about the boy, only to find him sobbing in the middle of a hallway, staring ahead and beyond, his back to you.
"Ita-?"
"Egh!" Startled, he scrambled to wipe his eyes, turning to you. "H-hey, um, hi."
"What happened?"
"I- he-" His eyes didn't met yours, knuckles white in a death grip. You notice he has a few bandages thrown over his face and arms. The way his shoulders are drawn, as if he wants to shrink into himself is something you've experienced before.
"Something hard to talk about?"
He nods almost immediately, head still facing down.
"It's alright, come with me." You reach for his hands, grimacing slightly when his forceful grip is now on your hand, yet you don't comment on it. He follows you through the state wordlessly.
You two stop on the same tv room, sitting down on the couch. You then guide his head to your shoulder, gently massaging his scalp with the free hand.
"It's alright."
Those two words are chanted like a prayer for the next half hour, at some point, Itadori twisted his body towards yours and unknowingly caged you between him and the sofa arm. He embraced you with a force you didn't have in you, like he didn't want to lose one another. Painful or not, not a muscle moved on your body. He needed a shoulder to cry on.
Thirty minutes passed like seconds, you peered down only to find the boy confortably napping against your bosom; at some point you just became the cold side of the pillow to him. That's alright. It brings you joy to be the mom friend anyways. So you decided to join the sleepland aswell, arms still secured around his shoulders and the back of his head.
It feels like the nap hasn't been long, though, because you can feel Itadori's grip loosening and therefore, you're awake.
"Sorry if I broke any bones, in advance."
"Wow, and you only warn me now."
He laughs at your comeback, hands still secured around your waist.
"I'm surprised you let me uh, cuddle you for comfort - and sleep. I don't understand it? You just make me sleepy." He rambled, keeping eye contact with you while his head still rests on your chest.
"That's a piece of cake when you have younger siblings who seek for you every night they get a nightmare."
"Does that mean I can come to you again if I have a nightmare?" There it is, his togepi-kirby cutesy face.
"Are you four?"
"That's mean!" Itadori blushed, squeezing you on his arms. "I like the contact. It puts me at ease."
"Mm, do you want to talk about it?"
He gulped. "No, not really."
Your peach haired friend remained silent, and so did you. It seems he doesn't intend in letting you go soon, or he just really forgot to mention it. It gives them time to think, your younger sisted used to do that sometimes, back in Kyoto.
"Y/N, wanna watch anything?"
"Sure, have you watched Parasyte before?"
"No, let's give it a try then!" Itadori glances at the remote, then back at you - making you confused over his hesitation to move. He notices you noticed it, chuckling nervously. "To be honest, I don't wanna let go."
"It's hurting my back."
"SORRY I'M SORRY!" He jumped away from you like a cat would jolt away from a cucumber, making you snicker.
"It's okay, I just wanted to change positions."
And to tease you, but he didn't need to know that part.
He glared at you with a small pout, typing the initials of Parasyte on the search bar. Outside his line of vision, you were grinning like a idiot, his sweeteness took a tow on you. All the people of Tokyo you met really held a way different spirit from your classmates in Kyoto, Itadori being the nicest of all. It's surprising him being Sukuna's vessel to begin with; being honest, you felt drawn by it.
"Y/N, it's startiiiiing." He cut your daydreaming short, slumping on your side and propping his head on your shoulder.
"This again?" You throw an arm around his shoulders, very much like the first time he cuddled himself on you.
"Don't blame me, you're the one who wanted to change positions. Guess I'll just make some alterations since I'm awake this time!" One of his arms went behind your back and circled your waist, hand resting at your hip.
"It's definely different, since the other time you drooled on me."
"Hhgh, okay okay! Let me enjoy this." For perhaps the actual first time, you're able to watch without exchanging words with one another.
And this time, it's you who's head loll to the side, nose buried on his soft rose perfumed hair. Itadori doesn't comment on it yet, his free hand moves under your legs to lift your whole body up efortlessly when he senses you have fallen asleep.
"I remember you said it's bad for my spine, I wouldn't mind it... yours however."
The boy makes a beeline to the guest room, he sighs when there is no choice but open the door with his foot. Inside, he places you carefully in the soft bed.
Before he could leave, a hand reaches up for his sleeve.
"Itadori," He turned, looking at you. "Make me company?"
He giggles softly - you think it sounds like a highschool girl. "You should start calling me by my first name!" Itadori rambles as he climbs on the bed, arms wrapping around your waist in a motion you're familiar with.
"Yuuji, I'm tired, let me sleep."
"But I wanna talk more..." He pouts. "Also, are we, um, dating?"
You wriggle around, bringing his head down to peck on his forehead, teasing. "Correction, I want to date you."
"Uh, oh." A blush coats his face so quickly, you'd say someone dumped a bucket of red paint on his face.
"Is that a no?"
"No!"
"So it is a no."
"Christ, will you stop teasing for a second, I'm trying to talk here." He makes an angry version of his togepi-kirby face, you can't help but grin.
"You amuse me, but okay. I'll do it for you."
"Thanks." He blinks, the blush slowly fading away. "You know, I lied, not about the contact, I like the contact nonetheless-"
His hand moves to play with yours, such as tapping his tips against yours, or meassuring the palms.
"-it's you who brings me comfort."
It's also your turn to blush, that line was seriously charming.
"Yeah."
"Yeah?"
"Yes, we're dating now." You respond, a little eagerly. "Can I kiss you?"
"Please."
This is the best person I could ask for, Itadori thinks, keeping his eyes open as yours shut during the kiss, whom I won't change for anything else in this world.
When you both separate, Itadori feels drowsy and sleepy. His face fits perfectly on your shoulder as always.
"Goodnight, my favorite person."
