Kumihimo braid thingy I finished the other night, I think the pattern was mitake gumi if I remember correctly. I didn't plan it but it's long enough to work as a belt :)

#another secret fibre art hobby i have in my back pocket..... revealed.....#i learned about kumihimo like a lot of people in north america did: got a childrens friendship bracelet kit when i was like 9 #and later got curious about where this disc-based braiding technique came from. the string here is actually from that same kit LOL #it came with a lot of string...... really basic cotton cord but a LOT.... thats also why its like two random ass colours #i mostly just wanted to learn some flat braids because ive finally figured out my counterweight situation :)
