Oh my god your ask box is open.
Ummm didja see how Viv liked fanart of Vox telling Val he's beautiful after his wings get clipped?
That author who wrote that fic of Angel being told he's beautiful paralleling with the goddamn creator liking and encouraging Val content to sympathize with him....
No hate to that artist but when you're the creator you need to have more fucking responsibility. She isn't condemning Val. She's woobifying and downplaying his actions to the point where she likes her *rapist character* being sympathetic and "beautiful" but has the gall to say Angel is a "loser".
And while I'm at it, she also like a comment about "people simp for horror characters like Patrick Bateman and Leatherface--"
Shut. Up.
Shut the fuck up.
The directors and actors condemn the actions of those killers. Christian Bale said he hates Patrick Bateman and thinks there's nothing good about him. That "sigmas" are missing the point and need to get a life.
LeatherFace is mentally challenged and doesn't understand what he's doing. He's surrounded by a psychopathic family who loves him and obviously doesn't teach him right from wrong.
Scott Cawthon punishes the fuck out of William Afton. Spring-locked painfully, tormented by the souls of the kids he's killed, crushed, burned.... his own son said that he'd burn in Hell.
I could go on and on. Also Jason Voorhees kills 2 rapists. Freddy Kruegar is burned for his crimes.
These people are so fucking stupid it hurts.
Viv coddles, woobifies, sympathizes, and downplays Valentino. The abusive rapist. Compared him to a *high school girl* for fucks sakes.
What Val does to Angel is also not over the top or goofy. It's *very real*. The abuse is very realistic and isn't unbelievable.
Alastor isn't a rapist. So stop bringing that up.
You can't control what people do with your content. But you can control what you encourage and how you view serious topics.
So much for her 3 day Threads meltdown where she screamed about caring about SA victims.
She's a rape fetishist just like Raph. Why else would she keep him around? I don't care that they have these fetishes, but stop pretending it's good SA rep.
Also Mimzy is meant to be Jewish. Rosie is a blood libel. Why are Jews in Hell? Fuck off with that "chicken" bullshit.
Fucking vile, Medrano.
And to be clear, I don't care if a portion of the fandom wants to expand on Valentino with headcanons, sit on him like a baby bird, and adopt him as their silly little rabbit. That's villains and fandom, that just is what it is.
The problem is when Viv does it, when she coddles Valentino and insists everyone else do likewise or else. Viv isn't a member of the fandom, she's the creator, and one who's made it her business to shout down and belittle every single fan who's uncomfortable with Valentino. That's a different, shameful thing, and it's absolutely disgusting.

Okay, I don’t normally do this but I’ve been going through the tags trying to find something I relate to about this movie, but what I’ve found has just continually baffled me, so…..
Doctor Strange 2 and Why In My Opinion It’s Bad
The biggest issue I had with this movie was the absolute and utter tonal confusion. The entire time, I just couldn't get a grip on what the movie’s tone was supposed to be. Individual scenes and moments could convey the tone well for like TWO MINUTES, and then they’d do something that jolted you back into inconsistency - is this horror or are we being goofy? Is this campy dated-superhero humor or are we being serious? Individual moments, if looked at in a vacuum, were good and conveyed what I think they were trying to do well, but when you fit all those pieces together it’s just an awkward mess. Every single transition of tone felt jarring and weird. Idk… maybe it’s just me but I COULD NOT stop trying to figure out what I was supposed to be feeling, which personally just meant that I had a really hard time enjoying any part of the movie for very long. It’s strange because normally Marvel movies do transitions like that pretty well, but this just did not work for me.
It was a superhero movie 100% of the time. From the very first scene, everything felt so high-stakes at every second, which ultimately meant that I never really felt any real tension or gravity throughout the movie. Literally as every single scenario started to “ramp up”, I kept expecting that Strange would wake up and it would be revealed that he’d just been experiencing another premonition like in the first scene - because every dramatic plot point felt that way to me: dreamlike, unreal, like the consequences didn’t really matter. But that never happened, and we just kept continually ramping up and up and up… but it never felt significant.
Character development WHO?? Like…I’m just… where was the character development?? Wanda was the only one who experienced SOME level of character development, which was still so so limited… she basically just realized that yeah, she’s been doing a bad thing. That’s it. Strange doesn’t change AT ALL. His whole thing with Christine was 0% resolved by the end of it. America has so many possibilities, but they literally didn’t do anything with them… all that changes for her is that she realizes that yes, she can control her powers. But who is she? What do we know about her, besides the fact that she’s an orphan and feels guilty about that? LITERALLY NOTHING. I was just so starved for character development by the end of this movie… so much happened plot wise but there was barely any CONNECTION. The characters are all thrown together, fighting each other, running around, talking about magic, but where is the actual human connection????
So. much. DISAPPOINTMENT. I’m so disappointed by all the missed opportunities to make this movie great. Not by the missed cameos and universes and stuff. Some things they missed would have been cool, but obviously they can’t do everything. No, I’m disappointed by all of the things that they started doing, but then failed at so miserably. There were so many moments throughout the movie where I thought, “Omg, wow, THIS is a really cool idea and I’m so excited to see how this goes!” For example, Wanda being the villain (where was the psychological torment between her and Strange (primarily him?!??), due to what transpired between them?). The horror elements of the movie (most of the horror scenes were cool for like a minute, but they always felt out of balance with the rest of the movie. Honestly if the movie leaned a lot more into the horror, I feel like it could’ve been so much better!). Strange’s experimentation with new powers (like, the corpse/spirit master thing. Bro… cool idea but… the execution was just so silly and awkward and just…why??)
so many little things that i may put into words later but i’m done now
Idk… this is weird because I’ve enjoyed pretty much every Marvel movie besides this one so far, and normally any issues I happen to have with a movie are pretty minor and don’t impact my overall experience or opinion. But… this one was bad. So bad. I really wanted to love it and I kind of hated it. Obviously this is all just my opinion and maybe I’m just super wrong and went temporarily insane during my viewing of this movie, idk.
