when i first read through the manga i like simultaneously had the ao3 tag open and was reading basically any fic that appealed to me and i guess some were written so well(?) or accurately(??) that i started getting plots genuinely confused with canon in my like, hyperfixation clouded stupor

#not sure if this is embarrassing to admit or not but some fics in that tag are like genuinely good as with any tag on ao3 #i miss it i went thru the entire tag im serious lmao #omitting the ones that were Bad or didn't intrigue me at all (ie being in the klaus/dorian pairing but including anything to do with fluff #or romance or pre established relationship to me that is no i can't do it they're divorced and complex and having hate sex. annyways #anyways even now i think did that happen or did i read a fic alongside the manga and imagine it drawn so vividly i believe it's canon #not entire plots obviously. that would be wild. just like particular events or things like that. i think it's funny #in one fic dorian did poppers i think (for a mission???? even more ???) and i thought it was real (SORRY) and i mentioned it to a friend #who also is into the manga rn and they were like sorry when did that happen in the manga and i was like oh i got. confused.#it's canon to me now. sorry.
