His eye set straight at his sister. “Maybe.” He answered. Only a little word yet filled with cold resentment and ambiguity. “Maybe we all are stupid. But you know the best that I… We could never question what father had in his mind.” His sister is weak. That, at least is what he had in his mind in all honesty. To him, the capability to get the missions done is what defining strengths. The more missions he could get done and the more he came to their father’s satisfactions, the more he would feels almighty than the rest of plebeians. It’s always been a mysterious feelings to him; yet it feels so cliche. Like there’s something that keep pulling the string on him and his brothers since they were kids. Well, except for Reiju. Though not in that much amount as the brothers, but she’s keep doing their missions despite how hard she disliked what she does.

As her words keep trailing and her eyes escaped to the night skies, he listened how she mentioned the figure of their late dear mother. He let his sister ended her words before continued on. “Mother… did loves many thing. I believe she would get ecstatic with these fireworks. Hah. She even loved Sanji’s craps for a cooking. Yeah, I heard from the maids that he brought her a cooking, and it tasted horribly nasty. Hilarious. I couldn’t understand mother sometimes. But I can’t lie… that was her main charms. She even keep loving me, Niji, and Yonji who bullied on Sanji constantly. I mean, why? She should have hate us in default. I wonder why?” He hid his face again under his long bangs. His voice’s getting low until only a whisper could be heard. “…I wonder why?”

“An idiot? Why dear little brother, I think it would be nice for others to know that the one that will one day rule in father place, has come to something the people has worked on. I believe they would give you respect, and where credit is due. Beside, if we were both to look like idiots, then does that make our whole family as well, Ichiji?”

Reiju could never understand her own siblings, they had their own way of being who they were, even if their father took so much away from them, with so little care-but none the less, even if whatever they did was wrong, she was in the same boat with them. Did she love them? Of course she did, they were her family, and yet she hated who she was. A Princess to her people, someone who wanted a life with no violence, and nothing but peace. But Reiju supposed there would be no such thing as that. War was something that always seemed to draw her father. To real what was his long ago, and have it under his grasp again. Though, Reiju sorely wished it did not involved her or her brothers. She wondered how their own mother would think of them now.

“Besides, my dear sweet little brother…I was meaning that how much it was wonderful for beauty to be in the sky. After all, I believe that mother would have loved it, don’t you agree?”

“...Yeah,” he retorted shortly. His eyes kept hidden under the shades. Nobody had ever guessed his real expressions beneath them prior to this, and today will not be the first time ever as well. He’s watching the night sky while his palm rest easy on the railing of the open balcony. “It’s nothing, really. It’s just fireworks.”

“I heard the commotions among the soldiers that they���d started this thing soon, so.” Ichiji jerked up his chin a little towards the explosions in the sky and continued after a while. The lack of emotions amongst the brothers are quite hard to describes. Their father had took their ‘affections’ towards anybody. But she is still his sister. Nothing can replaced the fact. Even amidst the wars he could be careless with her well-beings, yet her indifferent greetings everyday kept reminding him that she’s indeed exist in his life. It’s terribly funny in all ironic ways. How could somebody is so uncaring with certain someone, yet accepted their beings as somebody whom being hold dearly in his life? No matter how hard he tried, he could never uncover this truth himself.

He smirked. “I might looked like an idiot if I watched this foolishness by myself. So why not brought my sister along with me so she’d looked like an idiot herself?”
