hi so i kinda happened to fall in love with your art.....and i wanted to ask a few things!!! (if its ok!)

uhmm first of all how long did it take you to get that art style and perfection it etc etc?

also do you have any tips for anatomy? not big complex full body anatomy, just like...idrk honestly, some tips related to anatomy or hands or just the body that helped/help you?

and uh yeah if you just have any general tips on whatever to improve my art/art style i'll take litterally anything 😭

ive been drawing forever honestly. i've always been really into it. im fifteen so thatd be like 12 years. and obviously i wasnt always studying it super seriously or anything. idk. my art isnt perfect by any means. i just dont really post the shitty pieces lmao. i struggle with sm stuff and will be continuing to study probably till the day i cant hold a pencil anymore lol. (i draw too much, my hand hurts ;w;) its a never ending process and honestly thats why i love it sm.

as for anatomy i think the main thing to keep in mind is that anatomy and just drawing people in general is really hard. i heard this in this old video about how pixar used to do 3d animation is that the reason they didnt do animations of humans for so long is because we ourselves have very specefic ideas of what a human looks like. i think this also applies to art. which is a really long way of saying, trust the process.

i use photos personally! you can find a lot on pinterest but there are a couple things id keep in mind when it comes to photos people edit their bodies sometimes so their proportions so be careful, it will defeat the purpose of the study if the bodies inaccurate.

idk here are some that might be good for starting off. dancers and people like that are super helpful. remember to not to focus too much on the lines but more copying down the shapes,

for hands i would just look at your own hands and try to capture them quickly. i say quickly mainly bc i shake a lot lmao, maybe youre different. or you could just be smart and take a picture of your hand but im very lazy and dont like getting up to grab my phone.

for art style id just save stuff that inspire you. could be animations, comics, album covers, cool photos, just stuff that gives you like vibes. literally ANYTHING.

like, omg this is making me think of a cool idea rn!! save it! even if you cant execute it now you can always execute it in the future when your skills are more developed :)

style studies are also helpful! try copying art you like, seeing different peoples techniques however some things to keep in mind with this are

you might accidently copy down an artists mistakes or bad habits without realizing it so try to have some variety in your artists

dont post the art. some people are okay with tracing but the vast majority of artists dont like it and it makes them uncomfortable. so id just like keep it in your sketchbook or whatever :) better safe than sorry.

anyway ah this is so longgggg! sry im so bad at being concise lol. theres probably a lot of youtube videos that could help you with this stuff if you want more explanation. the channel ive been watching a lot in since this summer is sketches of shay. she makes a variety of stuff but her art studies and resources are also very helpful :)

Well I don’t know if questions/extra predictions role whatever were for here or ao3. But I’ll post here.

My prediction is NC runs into both Memory T and NK just for the hilarity. I those two will hate NC more then Cancer if they end up interacting a lot. XD 

My other prediction concerns the NC/3803/1146 triangle. I don’t necessarily mean romance areas, but 3803 might end up trying to push 1146 away a little. 3803 is very good at relying on people to help her with her job. Shoot 5100 had to push her a lot to step it up and be a mentor and she still likes asking for help in new areas despite not seeming to really need it. But if there’s one thing 3803 does is that she does not open up about her personal issues. Probably has to do with the fact she believes she over relies on others concerning her job and doesn’t want to bother anyone with things she thinks they can’t help with. She typically keeps her self loathing (cells getting bothered/hurt over her incompetence. Feeling bad she’s not good enough for 4201) about being useless at her job to herself and goes about fixing things herself. In the past that’s worked and been the source of her growth. She’s tries hard all the time to be better and that’s my favorite part about her character.

But in this situation maybe she’ll try too hard. She already did in the last chap of RBA and 1146’s talk seemed to indicate she hasn’t really opened up and talked to him or anyone about her trauma and the things Cancer did to her. I’m thinking it could be likely any progress she’s made could be undone or regress a lot with NC around and looking to make her the center of his world. NC right now still has that old mindset so he’s still capable of picking her apart. The irony is, beyond a beign mutation, he’s a perfectly good cell for the body now. 3803 is still the faulty born cell so his old arguments could still zing her. She can diss on his personality bit not much else that can bother him (meaning there is a lot she can throw at him. But will it have the same impact/bite as it did before?). 

When 3803 accept NC’s here and not leaving. She might attempt to deal with things on her own again. This isn’t some immune system matter anymore. This is a personal issue beyween two healthy cells if the body. She doesn’t want to bother anyone and she doesn’t want to open up. Which might lead her to shutting 1146 out a little and accidently downplaying how much this involves him too. After all, it doesn’t seem like 1146 has opened up much either. He has a tendency to keep his thoughts concerning her or anything that could trouble her to himself (or really just from her). Unbeknownst to her, he’s seen her troubled ache from afar. He’s just never had to confront her about it. The first time all he had to do was protect her from afar and ask about her day to perk her up. Then later he secretly observed her settle her issue quickly on her own. But this situation is a lot more heavy and complex. NC and 3803 have complicated feelings that ate different from any other relationship they have. She hates what he’s done and is still struggling to figure out how to heal herself. NC is still the one cell who gets it when it comes to being born not perfect and in another life he could gave been a great friend. Theirs also a third side: 1146. He also has his own complicated relationship to both 3803 and NC. He’s also heavily involved in this personal matter because he impacted Cancer so much. He was both Cancer’s greatest adversary and greatest friend (from Cancer’s pov). He showed sadness for Cancer and wished things could be different. Cancer picked up on his interest in 3883 and developed one for her too. He took her and kept her from 1146. Now 1146’s dream/wish Cancer could live in this world with them is now true. But it’s at the price of 3803’s peace of mind. I definitely think 1146 has A TON of unresolved issues over all this too. Things he has to work out still. He has to juggle his professionalism with his priority of 3803’s happiness and desire to feel safe again. 

Basically there might be some miscommunication for a bit. 3803 thinks this is something she has to do alone if she can’t avoid NC all the time like she’d want. NC will encourage this (unless he wants to bring 1146 into it or pre what ever good character development he will get). 1146 will get frustrated trying to get 3803 to let him help her more. For 1146 it might be one if those things where he doesn’t just want to protect her. He also wants to take care of her and in the process he’ll let her take care of him too. 

And NC might get character development. XP

Also NC totally knows where 3803 lives. XP He’ll probably pick up a camera and start snapping millions of secret pictures of her to put into a photo album after Normal cell suggests a fun hobby.

Normal cell: Uhmm, NC did you make a new… Friend? 

NC: This is my wife. She’s my whole world and purpose in life. I’m also on vol VI. I need to buy some more to for today’s pictures. =/

Normal cell: @_@ (just keep smiling).

But anyway, I love your predictions. A part of me really wants to tell you everything and another part of me wants you to suffer. Luckily for me, I’m going to make you suffer. 

Although, I will gladly draw attention to NC’s supposed character development, the triangle that you mentioned, and knowing where someone lives. You definitely are on the right track on some of the things that I’ve mentioned in the story... just know, that I think you will definitely feel betrayed by the time we get to like... chapter three or four? You’ll find out soon enough. 

Also bear in mind that this is now a trilogy. 

So if 3803 has her own story, and NC has his own... who is the third? 

If you can answer that, then you can be rest assured where all of my answers to certain questions are going to be answered in the third part. ;D

One more thing:
