Repeat costumes my beloved - especially when it’s an Eddie in basically yellow repeat outfit. I said if I saw that shirt again it meant we were getting queer Eddie and I’m even more sure than I was back then.

Well, folks, happy 10th expiration date! I rewatched the video and here are some things I noticed.

Some of Engie's wrenches on the wall! Looks like a stock, eureka effect, and southern hospitality. There might've been a jag on the other side of the southern hospitality but it was hard to see and I could just be a mistaken jag stan. 🔧

Who are these other people with masks in this photo on Spy's wall? Other spies?

This painting on the wall in Spy's smoking room/ Napoleon Crossing the Alps by Jacques-Louis David. Spy clearly thinks pretty highly of himself, to say the least, lol.

You can tell Spy has practiced backstabbing this dummy. Also, that face. Hehe.

The table cloth has TF2 logos on it.

Some of the books behind Scout include "dating for frickin morons", "so you're going to die...", "bonk! cola's dating guide", "being friends and getting naked", "first dating book", and "how not to sound stupid". Also, that face too.

And lastly, though this picture is obviously not from the video, it is interesting that this came out 2 days after father's day, hmm...

Yeah so originally these sketches were meant to show some ideas for an alternative Black design from sprunki as I never really liked blacks Canon design (which the whole realistic face and all) and I really liked more the non canon design they had (i dint hate the design I just kind of wish it would have done something differently)

I personality liked more what the sprunki retake did with Black's design and even music (which is also another thing as I was disapointed Black didn't include like actual music beside just ambience) and I wanted to attempt my own at that

....but then I started to draw jevin and it just turned into a jevin x black/darkcult ship doodles after (with my style) soooooo....ye.

not sure how to phrase this but something i have been ruminating on recently is that xue yang is strangely fragile. obviously he is also incredibly resilient. he survived, and continues to survive, impossible things. he has a million barriers between himself and the world, but none of this actually matters when it comes to what he feels. everything is personal to him. everything pierces straight through all that armor and goes right to his battered heart, the heart that no one else believes he has. that even he is not fully cognizant of. the world strikes and strikes and strikes and so he strikes and strikes and strikes back, even (especially) when the wound is something other people would not think worthy of retribution.

xue yang would never realize this- would be outraged at the concept of it- but the way everything, everything is something to rally a defense against is in itself a form of fragility. he does not know how to let go of things, or let them pass him by. passivity is death. so he is ruthlessly cruel and violent. he projects himself as a lunatic untouchable by anything you might possibly do to him, and on some level he even believes this. but in actuality he is one raw emotional wound. he never learned to separate himself from his emotions, much less process them. the volatility is not so much insanity as it is the constant lashing out of an animal in a trap, and the trap is the world, and the trap is himself, and he is never going to get out. and like so much else, this pain is just part of the background radiation of his life. it hardly registers. to be able to register the hurt, you would have to be able to register a time in which you were not hurt.

i feel like it is a fragility that could blossom into such tenderness, given exactly the right set of circumstances. how at the very first touch of softness in his life he fell into a domesticity from which he never recovered. how much was there, still, to be salvaged from the cruelty. on some level i am always thinking about the little apple bunnies. about the meal for daozhang and the straw in a-qing's bed.

it was too little, too late. it shattered like glass when the world intruded back in. but the tenderness was there. no one, least of all xue yang, knows what might have happened had it been unearthed in him any sooner.

doing something this weekend that's really stressful and anxiety-inducing for me (it's an important part of trauma recovery!!! I tell myself through gritted teeth) and the first part of it starts in half an hour so I probs need to head over there in about 15 mins and unfortunately I am physically and mentally at my limit from several hours of low-grade (and occasionally high-grade) sensory overload so. good. that'll be fun 🙃

Hi!! Figure now is as good a time as any to mention, but I do actually have a discord!

However, I should clarify that this is NOT a minecraft, hermitcraft, or dbhc-specific discord. It's a discord for my streams! It's kind of turned into a little community where people share art and chat about stuff, and i do often share little sneak peek posts sometimes there, so a lot of the chatter tends to be about hermits and whatnot since that's what i've been into, but yeah!
