darry with apd. he hates watching tv because he knows he’ll never be able to figure out what’s happening. he wants to scream every now and then when he thinks of how easy it is for his brothers to just talk. johnny and him like to look through the sign language dictionary and learn the alphabet, they teach the rest of the gang.

dally with ocd. he can only have eleven cigarettes a day, no more, no less. he looks over his shoulder every single second bc he has all the paranoia in the free world. pissing off tim shepard enough that he blacks his other eye so they’re even. he almost had a panic attack when pony and johnny came to buck’s and messed up how he kept his room.

two-bit with an addictive personality. he’s always been that way, but it started when he was little and really liked tv shows. he cares so much, he cares too much. as he got older, he started smoking, started drinking, and he could never stop. not even if he wanted to, not even if he tried.

steve with insomnia. permanent shadows under his eyes. he’s always irritable when he’s particularly tired, but he’s never had it in him to take it out on soda. he stays out in the lot mostly bc he hates the feeling of being in his house, but he doesn’t sleep any better out there.

At the very least The Outsiders is a story about love. About loving through grief, through fear of abandonment, through situations out of your control, through circumstances you’ve never even thought you would see let alone go through. It’s about carrying one another through every kind of obstacle and finding support to lean on them while you’re faced with immeasurable challenges.

And that is why this story has a huge audience, not because of the way the actors look.

OH MY GOD SAIKI K OHSHC AU. saiki is joining a school after having to transfer from revealing his powers, accidentally stumbles into the host club room, but instead of shattering some expensive vase everyone is like holy shit oh my god you’re gorgeous. you need to join us. and saiki wants NO part of it. cue an entire season of saiki running away from the entire host club trying to make him join. still has his power n shit too so it’s chaotic

this is made even better if i make it a terusai fic where both of them are constantly hunted down for the host club and end up hiding in the same spot and they’re like “you’re hiding from them too?” and realize that the other WOULD make a good host. and they fall in love.
