Weird random fact about me: for some reason I never get visible burn injuries. The only time I ever even got sunburnt was once after standing in direct sunlight all day (6+ hours) with no sunscreen at all- but that isn't that weird, to be resistant to sunburns. What *I* find weird is that I've never had a burn that left a mark, and I've certainly been in situations that should leave marks- splashed by hot oil, accidentally touched a hot stove or oven, we've all done something like that before. But the most I ever had was a little redness after (like the way you would after taking a hot shower) and I have no idea why. I am pretty resistant to heat, at least when it comes to things like touching the pan/sticking my hand in the water to see if it's hot or drinking something while it's still quite hot (not to full body heat though, lol I am very prone to heat exhaustion) but still I find it weird that I've never had a burn injury aside from that one sunburn before
