Honestly, I loved Jo’s special story and I hope they give her a full route, but I’ve been wondering: how in the world did Darla wake Jo up? Nora and FMC had to swear an oath to protect Jo so she’d wake up while Darla kinda just willed her to?
Darla did swear to help and protect Jo, but I’m not really sure if that counts since she said it  internally? Can the spell sense a person’s intentions?? If so, that would make it 1000x cuter considering it meant that Darla genuinely wanted to help Jo from the beginning..

frangel, fresley, frunn, dangel :-)
Send me a ship and I'll give you my (brutally) honest opinion on it
FRANGEL
idek where to Begin, honestly. I just love them. I love how protective they are of each other, how supportive, how nerdy they are. I love the way Angel fixes her glasses and how Fred pictured an entire normal life for him at the hospital. I genuinely think they could ((still can??? hmu @ angel s11))  be the best couple to come out of ats. Their dynamic was my favorite during the show and I can’t think of anything i dislike about them, they really complete each other and make each other better and I couldn’t ask for more. but ya know, I’m biased.
FRESLEY
okay, so. I have many great friends who absolutely loathe wesley and this ship, and I kinda get why?? they did have their problematic moments. but I’m still very much into their relationship. I think it worked, and I think it was natural and definitely interesting character-wise for both of them. I think sometimes for the fans and for the show itself, it is/was a little one-sided, but I mean, it’s kinda what you get from a relationship that was unrequited for like 95% of its run. i’m not sure if they would’ve worked out in the long run. I think after a while Fred got too important to Wesley for him to see her as a real person with flaws and that could definitely have hurt them in the long run ((it’s even why they took so long to get together in the first place)), but still I like them, and I would’ve liked to see them more together.
FRUNN
ugh, alright. i’m not a fan. they definitely had their cute moments in s3 but idk man as early as loyalty there’s some stuff that just bother me. most of all, the fact that it was gunn always calling the shots and fred having to nod and agree to what he wants, and when she disagreed, he did his way anyway ((supersymmetry)). I feel like fred lost a lot of her voice during that relationship. it was definitely important at first, don’t get me wrong, she needed someone to hold her hand and help her after what happened to her in Pylea, but after a while it was too much for me. and s4 is a mess for them. almost every episode in the first half of the season gave me something new to dislike about them.I love Fred, I love Gunn, I love their friendship, I just don’t like them in a relationship together. Maybe they weren’t as problematic?? toxic??? as fresley might have been in one point or another, but i think in the end it comes down to taste. what happened between fred and gunn bothered me more than anything that happened with fresley.
DANGEL
so!!!!!! underrated!!!!!!!!!! i was thinking about it the other day and i’d definitely rank just bellow frangel and bangel when it comes to angel ships and for me it’s one of the best in the show. First of all I love the ex-wife dynamics they played with in s2, I think it fit the characters for sure and i’m trash for it. I do think Angel honestly loved Darla, and Angelus probably did too in his own way. Like yeah, she was evil, they murdered people together, they ruined lives, they tortured Dru and all those things, but they did it together, for 150 years. Darla’s responsible for so much of who Angel was that I think it’s impossible for him to ever let go of her. No one tries so hard to save someone like Angel did in s2 if some real, deep feelings aren’t involved, and no one falls so hard when they fail, either. As for Darla, I think it’s obvious that Angel was The One™. There were Spike and Dru, yeah, but they were their own thing, and even Darla herself says that no one even compared to him. Darla was a vampire who was always driven by lust, and killed using that lust ((which i find brilliant, btw, one of my favorite bits of her character creation)) and Angelus, more than anyone else, really symbolized that for her, I believe. And when Angelus was gone, Angel cared. And he was probably the first one to do it too. Darla’s the one who said “God never did anything to me.”  in her deathbed and lives to watch a man who lived more than a century by her side fight through hell to keep her safe. I just love them a lot man, I really wish we’d gotten more of that.
