ive been enabled so let me share some of my thoughts on how to get ur art noticed online
if u want Engagement on ur posts then i believe that its critical to make people care about ur art. the easiest way to do this is to appeal to something they already care about, like fandom, aesthetics/subculture, current events, having fun (people love humor!). a harder but perhaps more fulfilling route is to talk about ur own ocs and projects enough until people start caring about them too
theres an infinite amount of topics people care about out there so id suggest picking something u already care about urself and channel ur art energy there. trying to make art for the most popular things out there regardless own interests is an exercise in misery, id advise against it..! if im allowed to get superstitious for a moment, i do believe that even untrained eyes can tell whether a piece of art was fun to work on or a chore. and besides! if ur having fun then its easier to create more, and the more u create the more chances ull have at getting lucky and having a post seen :)
on a very related note, art is a way to communicate ideas so the quality of the idea being presented in a piece of art is paramount to how popular a post will be. what i mean by this is that technical skill isnt the primary determinant of a posts popularity. if all your posts are portraits of original characters then people will have a hard time connecting with your posts and theyll keep scrolling, even if those portraits are masterpieces! the major exception to this is probably other artists, who ive found usually have a greater appreciation for the technical side of art (we can only speculate as to why..!)
lemme finish by saying that making popular posts and being good at art are two entirely different skillsets, ive seen many incredibly skilled artists with jack shit for notes because they dont give people a reason to care about their stuff NOT TO MENTION its a huge game of luck whether a post will get seen. so dont go insane in pursuit of recognition!
(i dont want to make this post too long so ive included examples from my own art and their note counts with my analysis after the break)
hello and welcome to the extracurricular segment to this post :) i bring yall two pieces from my art blog @werewolf-artfriend:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
here we have a portrait of my fursona that im still proud of and a sketch suggesting "what if sniffers (from minecraft) were the size of mountains?" (let it be noted that the sniffer sketch was posted right during the minecraft mob vote = peak interest in the subject of sniffers).
the portrait at the time of writing has a crisp 30 notes, whilst the sniffer sketch has over 2000 notes. from the same artist, on the same blog, posted only a few months apart. i believe this is a good example both of the power of a piece of art having an interesting idea at its core AND of a piece appealing to the interests of the masses
this is of course just two convenient example posts, but i have experienced fan art of popular topics getting thousands of notes a couple of times now, amidst my other furry shit that these days get around 200-300 notes in comparison
this may sound like a really long winded way of saying "fan art make the world go round" but i just want to point out the nuances that
1) it matters what u make fan art of: if a fandom is small or dormant (waiting on new canon content for example) then clearly less people will be excited about the fan art you make. dont expect 10k notes on ur post if the average recent post in the fandom gets around 200 etc etc
2) it doesnt have to be fan art! ive also had some of my bird art get thousands of notes because people simply like birds :) and this applies to ANY topic people care about! the world rly is your oyster on this one
anyway i think ive started rambling dhgdjhgd thanks if u read this far! i hope i got my point across! and if ur feeling down about ur art not being seen then just keep at it okay! keep creating and keep having fun! keep sharing ur ideas and perspectives with the world and ur audience will eventually find u! i love you!

Hey! So sorry if you already answered this but what application and tablet do you use??
I use Easy Paint Tool SAI and a pretty old wacom intuos tablet! Both questions are answred in my faq, actually~
Anon said:You. You awesome person. You are my new fav artist. 💘💘💘
AW thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:I love your art and the style, it’s all so cute and it might give me a heart attack
He c k let’s hope not! Thank you so so much!!! ;^;
Anon said:hey, can ya do more tokage, pls
Sure, I mean to draw more 1B in the future anyway~
Anon said:nori is soo adorable!! I love your art and seromina so much and seeing them combined makes me mega happy!!! I gotta ask though, how are sero and mina as parents and how do they handle nori’s quirk?
They’re disasters as parents but they try their best and are always having fun - Nori adores them! In their house not a minutes goes by without someone laughing, they’re all super loud and cheerful always~ neither of them has any problem dealing with Nori’s quirk, Sero has spent a whole lifetime learning how to deal with sticky stuff and tape and glue so he knows all the tricks to save clothes and furniture from accidental quirk usage and so on, while Mina’s own quirk makes it easy to counter any glue that might end on her - the main thing actually is that the quirk itself was a surprise! Since Nori looks a lot like Mina, both she and Sero had expected her to have acid like Mina so when she started gluing herself around in places and walking along walls and stuff it was a surprise (they had expected to have to deal with the house being constantly half destroyed by acid though, so glue is nothing compared to that haha)
Anon said:Heyy I saw your twitter account and was wondering if you could link some of those “fics about them boys sharing a bed..“ I’ve been following you for a while now and absolutely love your work (: I hope you don’t mind lol. I need more kiribaku in my life gahaha ❤️ thanks !!
I didn’t really bookmark any and most were old things I had read in the past and spent time rereading lately, but the newest one I read is this one - honestly though at this point 99% of the fics set in the dorms have them sharing a bed, you just need to open ao3 and scroll down less than a page to find stuff lol
Anon said:If you’re not an Adventure Time fan this ask will make no sense to you (so skip it), but when I saw your drawing of Katsuki with a guitar, I immediately thought he was singing some edgy Marceline song, like the teasing-aggressive “I wanna bury you in the ground / I wanna bury you with my sound” (which he actually says at some point I think XD) or the romantic and melancholic “Slow Dance with You” and Eijirou M-E-L-T-S.
Not an AT fan, but the concept is adorable so I’m keeping the ask anyway
Anon said:Do you think you might draw more of your fantasy AU children while you’re playing with you’re new pencil tool? It would be neat if you did! Regardless, I’m grateful for anything you draw!
Yup! Can’t promise when it’ll happen but I love the fantasy AU and I love childhood friends AU, so the chances of me going back on it are pretty high!
Anon said:Are you going to draw Mako and Taiyou again? They are so wonderful.
YAH that’s definitely in the near future plans! Thank you for liking them!!
Anon said:I just…I love all your art. It’s so amazing you’re awesome
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! ;^;
AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH grazie infinite omfg ;^; specialmente per i miei oc, è sempre incredibile per me sapere che alla gente piacciono abbastanza da volerli vedere di più ;^;
Anon said:Hewwo! I’m a huge fan of your artwork!! I was wondering if you have any time could you draw some more of those dorm room scenarios?
Anon I’m sorry but I need you to be more specific, which dorm room scenarios are you talking about? Most of my comics at this point are set in the dorms hahaha
Anon said:I just noticed that on every artwork you sign “do not repost” and I hate it.I don’t hate that you do it, but the fact you NEED to do it. Artists all over the Internet say to not repost their art but people still do it…I hope this will stop someday Sorry for my english btw
Yeah well, I guess as long as people keep on following and giving notes to reposters that’s not really gonna change is it orz
Anon said:You should draw Present Mic x Aizawa *awkward finger guns*
Hell I really should, shouldn’t I
Anon said:my god im gay for your kiribaku like they’re so good aibdjsbsknwnx and i love the interactions between the bakusquad ahh keep being awesome :)
HECK THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
Anon said:Honestly, this might be an odd question I don’t know, but would you ever consider putting your art together in a art book to sell? Cause to be honest, there’s not a piece by you that I don’t adore and I’ve seen some artist do things like that before so I didn’t know if that was something you’d consider. Maybe like all your BNHA pieces or something?
It’s not like I never considered it? It’s more like I dunno how worth all the work to figure out how to make it/where to print it and then to actually make it would be compared to the interest people would have in buying something they can have for free on my blog? It’s just doodles after all haha
Anon said:Would you be willing to draw a little lavi (dgm) doodle for me? Anything tiny, I just love him and your art!!!
I’m not doing requests right now, sorry, but soon enough the new chapter is coming out so I might draw him around then!!! I always fall in a serious dgm mood around the time of the chapter release haha
Anon said:More abuse of the ask function: 1- I love your art and have been for months. On top of that, it often feels cathartic, which is amazing to me. 2- I love how balanced you can make KiriBaku. You even manage to make me appreciate that overrated attention hogger that is Bakugou, you can handle him so much better than the author, because your character dynamics make so much more sense!! 3- I always, ALWAYS find myself reading through all your tags. They’re awesome. Thank you for everything.//Avevo finito lo spazio nell'ask precedente, so I’d only like to add that aside from cutie-smoochy (“It’s not about whether you break” and “I don’t need you” might be my favorite, and for what’s worth, I remember writing something exactly like the latter in the past), you also make mu burst into laughter. Like, the comic where Katsuki is about to out Eijirou on his red hair, I am still rolling. Kiri’s giant mouth is seriously hysterical XD
Thank you for the compliments!! I’m glad I can make you like a character and a relationship you’re not much of a fan of in the actual manga? ? ? Bakugou’s actually one of my favorite characters ever though so………. maybe……….don’t offend him and the way Horikoshi writes him while talking to me………….orz
Anon said:I am starved for Bakukamikiri stuff in this fandom……..But you got some good shit.
I’m!!! happy to be able to help there!!!! haha
Anon said:They mama Mitsuki art you drew 👏💯💖☺️💕👌 I love your art so much
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:Yessssss you have Twitter! It is boring at the beginning but then you’ll love it! I can’t wait to see you here and there! Now all my Bakushima favorite artist have one I can die of happiness!!
I’m!!!!!!!!!! Still trying to figure it out but!!!!!!!! For now it’s not that bad? Just!!! Very different from tumblr so I’ll need to get used to it first!!!!
Anon said:Omg do u shade jirous hair like its a heartbeat line? Dhdisbdisb thats so fuckibg good
THANK she actually has it in canon too, tho, so I can’t take credit for this!!!
Anon said:Im crying on how you draw kirishima’s soft hair
S O B I’m glad you like it!! ;^;
Anon said:Can I ask what your stance is on bakugo’s mom being abusive and sorry if you’ve answered this before
I love Mitsuki with my whole heart and while I don’t think she’s perfect I do think she’s loving and caring and trying her best and always looking out for what’s best for Bakugou 👍 no abuse anywhere, for me
Anon said:OMG I LOVE SEROMINA LOVE CHILD NORI
Thank you for liking her???? heck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:I wish I could use your art for my phone’s background ;^; You’re amazing! I love youuuuuuuuuu
No one’s stopping you from doing that, anon!!! Unless you don’t have a phone that allows you backgrounds, in which case ;-; thank you for liking my stuff that much tho!!
Anon said:Hey! I followed you way back when your main output was haikyuu!! comics and once you started putting out more bnha, i had to unf because i had no idea who everyone was rip. but now that ive finally had the chance to watch it i’m glad to come back and see how much you’ve improved!
HECK THANK YOU???? I’m glad you decided to come back????? oh man that’s super flattering !!!
Anon said:Yolo bakusquad bakubowl ?
I don’t really like the whole concept of [character]bowl, sorry!
Anon said:I absolutely adore your art style😍 every time I see your art it makes me happy:)
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:Can you draw Hawks and Tokoyami together? You are rlly creative and amazing! So I believe you will produce sth. awesome!!!! (If you don’t want to draw Hawks, could you draw a Tokoyami fusion?)
I can draw that! I’m just waiting to know how tall Hawks is compared to him before doing that 👍 be patient pls relative heights are something I’m stupidly fussy about
Anon said:Burn the whole world to ashes for you? R U serius?! You always killing me dude. I ascended to the heaven of soft things. I N C R E D I B L E. Im sorry for the break down, i was without tumblr 2 months and the firts thing i do is go to your profile. Keep doing this plis im trully love it 😭💖
mAN I’m so glad you liked that one this much, drawing the boys being unreasonably soft with each other is my fav thing to do tbh !!!
Anon said:Omg I can totally imagine Nori and bakushima’s daughter being friends!!!
THEY ARE !!!!!!!
Anon said:Your seromina is amazing!!! I love that ship I feel like it is so underrated! Thank you for this blessed image!! 😭
No prob!! thank you for liking it!!!!!!! I’ve been in such a seromina mood lately, I might actually draw more soon enough!!
Anon said:Omg imagine a Tetsuwase love child. Something tells me they’d be adorable and one rather angry child, considering who their fathers are
I can see them as being quiet and grumpy………. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Anon said:Hey just wanted to tell you I love your art. It’s so soft and beautiful. My dad doesn’t ship any characters from the series, but he does like the series and he thinks your art and style are really pleasing. We were talking about how nicely you shade and that the style is well developed and lovely to look at. Thanks for making such great art that makes me smile and giving me and my dad yet another thing to bond over.
YO THAT’S SUCH A COOL THING TO HEAR!!!! Thank you to both you and your dad for liking my stuff????? h e c k !!!!!
Anon said:Thanks to you I started reading haikyuu.
I hope you’re enjoying it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hope u don’t mind me adding on op but i have a lot of thoughts, mostly being: the most important difference about an adaptation and a fanfic is the author’s assumption regarding their reader and the author’s relationship to canon. the aeneid itself cannot be a fanfic because virgil is creating “canon” (though ultimately his idea of what “canon” does not map onto our modern perception, especially based on the way our culture misunderstands greek mythology as having a “canon”). so for one thing, a fanfic must not be trying to enter into the same canon as the work it’s referencing. secondly, a fanfic assumes the reader interacts with its source material (yes, you can read fanfic without being familiar with the source material, but that doesn’t make you the assumed audience). an adaptation does not.
 fanfic is a genre––it’s specifically not canon and requires at least one of: taking place the “canon” world OR using “canon” characters (some examples may be: self-insert fics/OCs whose story takes place in a certain world, extrapolation of a world, AUs with canon characters, canon-divergent fics). additionally, fanfics almost always deal with character-driven plots.
most fics also derive from a source with a known & finite amount of creators. mythology especially stands in contrast to that, where aiming to have a “canon” set of greco-romans myths doesn’t make sense (& that’s not even getting into trying to smush a bunch of different cultures into one uniform set of beliefs). yes, there are exceptions to this rule (fanfic of the bible, for example, which probably exists), but they are considered outliers. mythology is tough, since any expectation of a singular “canon” indicates a real lack of understanding on the author’s part. regardless, i stand by the fact it’s an adaptation if you’re not expecting your reader to have engaged with primary ancient sources.
i also think that fanfic unintentionally has recently become a medium: it’s online, it’s free, and its author is almost always anonymous or under some kind of pseudonym (usually a username). this wasn’t always the case, i know, and i wouldn’t necessarily argue that works outside of this medium can’t be fanfiction, but it seems relevant, especially when you consider: what is the difference between fanfiction of ovid’s metamorphoses and an adaptation of the metamorphoses?
(i’ve picked the metamorphoses in particular not because i can think of any famous adaptations off the top of my head, but because i wanted to pick an example with a tangible author; 'greek mythology’ complicates things too much here imo).
i genuinely think if you post on ao3 a work in which you write, say, a baucis and philemon vignette from the point of view of the goose, that is simultaneously an adaptation. whether or not it’s fanfic is complicated, but i think if you’re posting on ao3 it’s likely fanfic. a fanfic author knows their work isn’t canon: whatever they write about how the goose feels does not mean that it should be read as part of ovid’s body of works. it certainly does not enter the “canon” of roman mythology. (however, this is true for manu adaptations). however, the way a baucis and philemon adaptation becomes fanfic is based imo on the expected consumer. when you post something on ao3, i wou,ld argue, you tell your reader something:  this is for people who have engaged with the primary source. you may not intend to do so (and people publish original works on ao3), but ao3 is set up so that you will likely only stumble upon it with no prior knowledge if they went looking for works based on the metamorphoses (with the assumption they have read it or part of it). ultimately, though, it’d be based on style: does the author situate the reader enough that a reader with no knowledge of ovid, his works, or this myth can understand the vignette? if not, it’s fanfic.
in comparison, i’d look to at le guin’s lavinia and different book 13s of the aeneid (vegio’s being the most famous). neither of these are fanfic. yes, they have both the characters and world of the aeneid. but the way they approach the “canon” (the aeneid) cannot map onto fanfic. vegio’s book 13, written in latin, are considered canon by their authors. the first english translation of the aeneid contains a book 13 because it was considered what virgil did not get to write. it is meant to be read as part of the canon work––a stark contrast to, say, “canon compliant” fanfics. lavinia is not trying to be part of virgil’s body of works the way vegio’s book is. that being said, le guin is writing something that is not necessarily for an audience who has read the aeneid.
in short. obviously it’s complicated. but the readership matters, and so does perception of canon. i’ve used vegio, virgil, and ovid here to talk about relationship with canon, but i haven’t been fair––what is “canon” is a very modern term. nowadays, vegio’s 13th book would not be perceived the same way because we ubderstand canon differently. all this to say i agree w you. you can’t define fanfic outside of its cultural context: my explanation of “canon” would not make sense to ovid, virgil, or vegio; i am relying on a mutual cultural understanding of an author’s ownership of their work.
anyways this is getting long but basically. calling every adaptation fanfic makes my blood boil bc it oversimplifies things, not bc fanfic is “bad”. also op feel free to tell me to shut up im sorry for rambling on ur post
it IS hard to talk about fandom/fanfiction in reference to mythology too because like yeah okay technically any adaptation could be called fanfiction. if that's how you want to define fanfiction, like... yeah okay. fine. but also, like... fandom and fan culture are a very modern thing, and they function very much within our culture. especially when it comes to like... how media is commodified etc. i don't have the brainpower to go into more depth but yeah i feel like sometimes when people are like "all adaptations are fanfiction" they're missing the nuance of the different cultural context

( SENDS U ALL THE SYMBOLS FOR THAT MEME )
i just realized all of these are plant symbols.
🌸 = my roleplay petpeeve
Anyone who acts superior towards other roleplayers, but especially in the sense of  acting like other people have to change their writing style to interact with you. There’s a difference between being selective about who you write with and telling other people to convert to have a chance with you because they’re ‘flawed.’ A certain purple prose post I’ve seen floating around comes to mind, the kind that’s like ‘your writing is terrible but that’s ok HERE I WILL TELL YOU HOW TO FIX YOUR AWFUL WRITING SO YOU CAN WRITE MORE LIKE ME.’ Ew.
Just let people do what they want, and if it’s not up to your personal standards or you dislike it, then understand that’s your problem and not the other persons.
🌹 = my opinion on your character
Can Antonio adopt me please? oTL But seriously, I absolutely love the way you characterize him, as well as… idk the overall idea of him? I’m a huge fan of personification muses, and yours is a fantastic foray into examining/embodying fatherhood. You have avoided every way I can see such an idea going wrong, all while staying true to who Antonio is. I just really love the way you play with this idea, and all the different facets of his character. I wish him all the best and hope for a day you stop hurting him. You monster.
Please just keep writing Antonio he is pure magic on the dashboard.
🌻 = a character I wish to write with
The day I get characters from John Le Carre’s works to write with is the day I can die happy. No matter the origin, whether from books or film adaptions, I just want such characters very badly.
🍀 = a ship I wish to write
Price/Julia since my boyfriend never uses his damn account. In the more serious, I’d love to see Julia with a more concretely inhuman character. Whether that comes in the form of a partner who has a more inhuman perception than she does, or a literal non-human character, I think it would be interesting to see Julia being thrust into depths that she herself has only ever skimmed the surface of.
Yes, she can be strange, even an outcast, and even at the best of times shows strange perceptions and philosophies, but it would be fascinating to me if she was with someone who made her look perfectly mild by comparison. Would she remain the more moderate or human half of the relationship, or would she eventually learn to keep pace with her partner? Would it even work in the long term? I don’t know, but I would be interested in finding out.
🌼 = a song I identify with your character
Daddy’s Home - Usher.ahem. jokes aside, February Song by Josh Groban gives me Antonio feelings? Just kind of the fragility of it, a sort of weariness implied in the lyrics. I have terrible taste in music I’m sorry.
 = a song I identify with my character
Runnin’ - Noahplause.
Why yes, Julia is known for running her mouth. Ever since I discovered this song, I’ve said if Julia was ever introduced stylishly during a mission in some kind of media, this should be the background music.
🌱 = a plot I want to write with you
Let Julia be nice to Antonio. Make him food. Sit and talk with him for real. No trade offs or fixes, just two people being friendly with one another. I just want Antonio to have good things, and he makes Julia worried sometimes.
🌲 = if I ship our characters together
Mmmmm possibly? They would need to interact more, so I can’t rule out or confirm anything at this point.
🌴 = a favorite canon character in my fandom
Raul Menendez is the best written character in the Call of Duty franchise and I will fight any dorito gnoshing mountain dew chugging player in this fandom over this fact.
🌵 = a disliked canon character in my fandom
Black Ops II-era Frank Woods. What a fucking cock up that writing was compared to how Woods was characterized in the first game. We go from the kind of guy who cries over a kid getting killed during an op to…. calling his grenade killing an unarmed civilian justifiable or excusable. Even allowing for his darker character development, this is hard for me to swallow. No thanks, Treyarch.
🌾 = my opinion on OCs
I love them. Give them all to me.
🍁 = my opinion on multimuse blogs
Like any other aspect of roleplaying, there seems to be a trick to it? I don’t know, most I have seen are amazing and efficient, enough to inspire me to finally move some of my canon muses onto one. On the other hand, I have seen some that, to me, seemed very disjointed and bloated. That seems to be the minority, though, and for the most part I attribute it to difficulties in transitioning from a single account to a multi.
🍄 = my opinion on crossovers
I play a Call of Duty OC for a series that is almost a decade old. I treasure each and every follower no matter their fandom of origin, or lack thereof. Every crossover is a gift to me.
🎄 = my opinion on AUs
I like a lot of them, some might rub me the wrong way personally, but regardless, it’s not my place to say anything unless there’s a clear line being crossed that is worth mentioning.
💐 = my favorite part about the fandom
We’ve had our growing pains, but now that the pedophiles and their apologists are gone, I love this fandom. We’re all super supportive, and it’s just nice to have a low-drama community to come home to.
🌿 = my least favorite part about the fandom
You mean other than the creepy pedophile and her defenders still being on tumblr? There’s maybe four fics of my OTP on the internet. One is really triggering based on its content. The other three I wrote. My NOTPs are really popular. Please fandom give me more Suri and less Ghost/Roach.

fallout/apocalypse/harvest moon, what a trio
hey, i'm tea (like the beverage). i'm in my early 20's, and i live in midwestern USA so my timezone is central. i roleplay exclusively through email. i've tried other mediums and they just don't stick for me. there will be an ooc thread for plotting/planning/talking and an rp thread for the actual roleplay. i hope this formats right and if not, well. it was nice knowing u.
    for the rp itself, i'm looking for a small array of things, so i figured i'd make an ad as a catch-all instead of doing something like one ad per request. i will only do oc/oc romance, and i only do m// and/or f//. doubling is required, regardless of whether we stick with two m// pairings or two f// pairings or one of each.
    this is also very important to add: my email's kicked the bucket! messages keep either not sending on my part or i don't get them when my partner sends them, so i've reached a point where i'm just like ok that's it i'm making a new email. if we were roleplaying or planning a roleplay and i suddenly stopped responding, please feel free to email me at my new email ([email protected]) to continue!
    i'm currently looking to roleplay ocs in the following universes: fallout, apocalypse/post-apocalypse, or harvest moon/stardew valley. read on if you want to know more.
    style;
☆third person.
☆past tense.
☆novel or multi-paragraph; i can snap out four paragraphs or 20, usually novel but like i can work w/ anything.
☆good handle on grammar, maybe some spelling errors if i'm responding from my phone. i'm very relaxed with typing OOC as u can tell but i go all out with actual writing, don't worry.
  characters;
☆varied in personality and backstory, i usually make new ones for rps but sometimes a character sticks with me. i write diverse characters and expect the same from you.
☆i can handle various roles at once; side characters or recurring roles aside from mains are welcome.
☆doubling or tripling is required. i haven't done more than that before but i'm open to it.
☆i don't use FC's and prefer written descriptions, but i'm a hoe for pinterest and moodboards and use that for character references.
☆i get attached to our characters so i'm into talking about them and making content. expect me making pinboards or drawing things or sending u vines/songs and being like "this is them."
  romance;
☆yes...it is required by law (i am the law).
☆like i said above, i only do m// or f//.
☆hit me with every trope under the sun, i will without a doubt be into it. i love cheesy stuff.
☆like i said above, doubling is required. i've reached the point where i generally just prefer to write more than one main character.
  smut;
☆required. i don't fade to black
☆switch characters by default. i will die if you come to me with the intention of only playing bottom characters. the only time i'll sway this is if you don't adhere to willowy, pretty bottoms who are short and rugged, rough tops who are tall; flipping those around will give leniency to my aforementioned switch rule, but i vastly prefer to at least switch things up (lol) once in a while if that's the case.
☆no incest, underage/pedo, bestiality, toilet stuff, noncon, mpreg. please don't contact me if u support any of that stuff in any way. i've had people contact me who have links online and i've found out they've written incest or pedo fanfics, so like... in general, stay away plz.
  i prefer my partners to be 18+ minimum, 20+ is best case scenario. none of the characters will be underage and would generally be in their twenties or older. actually, i haven't done written romance with characters over 25, so that's something i'd be interested in exploring! lmk if you're down.
  AND NOW... ONTO THE UNIVERSE RELEVANCE... i'd looove to play any of these, but asterisks are for particular cravings.
  FALLOUT;
i have no plot in mind other than it could be fun to make our own setting/area of the US they haven't explored in canon, like mountains or something — maybe a nuclear winter? but otherwise staying in canon areas is good! i've only really played F3 and F4, so i prefer those a bit. i'm working on NV, tho.
☆ghoul/non-radiated person
☆fresh-outta-the-vault/wasteland veteran
☆sole-survivor/oc
☆lone wanderer/oc
☆regular oc/oc!
  STORY OF SEASONS/HARVEST MOON/STARDEW VALLEY;
alright, this one is pretty different. this would be very video game-like: heart events, character gift preferences, festival events, townspeople, the whole nine yards. this is a very worldbuilding-centric scenario with multiple side characters, so plz be prepared for stuff like that. i have a couple of ideas for a town setting, but mostly i'd like to make one with my partner. here are some ideas, all of which the main plot (there will be one! i love HM but slice of life gets tedious when you rp it long enough) will be adjusted to accommodate the setting:
☆fantasy-based, like rune factory. along with humans, there could be dwarves, elves, mermaids/mermen, selkies, magic-users... maybe a shape-shifting dragon? who knows. i mean actual fantasy and not just fantasy races, tho, like disappearing woods or ice caverns or giant tree houses or floating landscapes or airships. so basically rune factory haha.
☆supernatural-based, maybe a halloweentown or addams family vibe? or perhaps something more sinister and . along with humans, there could be vampires, werewolves, demons, witches, ghosts, et cetera.
☆pokemon-based. instead of regular farm animals, they're pokemon! miltank, combee, mareep, sudowoodo, et cetera. this could be suuuuper cute and fun. this would be based in an established region, but could either be a town we make ourselves or based in a town in canon.
☆LOZ-based, in hyrule. there could be hylians, rito, zora, et cetera. ☆regular SV/HM. can't go wrong with the classics!
  APOCALYPSE/POST-APOCALYPSE;
what can i say? every once in a while, i get bitten by the apocalypse bug. i'm used to doing post-apocalypse, where people are living on in the world after it's ravaged, with it being the only world they've ever known. which is fun! but i'm also down for a current apocalypse, where people live their daily lives and are forced to adjust to the world following a catastrophic event. i'll be honest, i prefer this genre with some sort of monster. i'll be frank: i like zombie apocalypses. i know they're overrated and overdone to hell, but what can i say. that said, doesn't have to be zombies! i'd love to do an apocalyptic rp with a different monster, from the supernatural to the paranormal to the extraterrestrial. a character being immune to whatever's going down would be fun too. i have a vague idea based on a story i'd like to write one day involving an impact winter and a virus that results from that, so lmk if you're interested. otherwise, regular zombie apocalypses or post-apocalypses in general are fine by me.
