for some reason, despite the fact that he just knocked on your front door, luke is surprised when you open it just seconds later. what he was expecting, he doesn't know, but something makes his eyebrows rise at the sight.

that initial surprise is soon replaced with concern, though, when he takes in the sight of you. the bloodshot eyes, the deep bags under them, and the way the corners of your mouth hang down in an unusual way. and especially, the way your face doesn't light up like it most often does when you see him.

he reaches out to place a hand on your upper arm just as you speak up. "what's going on?" you ask, as if it's the most unnatural thing in the world to see your boyfriend outside your door. maybe if you'd checked your phone anytime today, you'd seen any of his ten texts of him wondering if he could come over tonight.

luke frowns at this. "i should be asking you the same thing," he counters, hand moving up to caress your cheek instead. "you haven't returned any of my texts or calls all weekend. did something happen?"

you put on a lighthearted smile, brushing away a few strands of hair that have fallen out of your messy bun and into your face. "i've just been studying. forgot to check my phone." luke, however, notices how the smile doesn't really meet your eyes, and when your gaze falls to the side, something in his chest tightens. you both remain still for a few moments before he shifts his weight from one foot to the other.

"are you going to invite me in, or..."

the question has you flinching slightly before you nod, holding your door open for him as he steps into your dorm room.

luke knows you aren't the most neat person in the world, but what he's met by when he enters your room is on a new level. books on all open spaces, note-filled papers spilling down from the tables and onto the floor, with cap-less highlighters scattered atop it all. "love," he starts, picking up a few stray snack papers from the floor. "when was the last time you took a break? or had a real meal?"

you cross your arms over your chest, slight embarrassment spreading across your face as you watch the brit try to clean up at least some of your mess. "three years ago," you say with a weak chuckle, one that isn't good enough for you to even believe in it yourself, and lean back against the counter of your tiny kitchen.

luke just nods, organizing some abandoned papers in piles based on what subject they seem to be in. "good thing i ordered food here, then."

"you did?" you gasp. "really?"

"chinese. is that alright?" he sets the papers down on a table, turning his head to catch you nodding to him. "it should be here in... ten or fifteen minutes."

"thank you," you say, pushing yourself off the counter to strut over to him. "you're the best, actually."

you slip into his embrace so easily, the feeling of his arms around your shoulders easing the tension in them instantly. "hey..." luke starts, a soft sigh following his words. "i know you like to think that you need to study every second you're awake, and... i know there's some little voice inside your mind telling you that all kinds of things will happen if you don't ace these exams. but..."

his words already leave you feeling like your knees will give out any second. he's always been able to see right through you, read you like an open book, and known exactly what to say. and today is no exception.

"i want you to remember that you need to take some breaks, too. you won't learn anything if you just go non-stop all the time." he pauses for a moment to squeeze you a little tighter in his hold. "plus, you deserve to take breaks. you deserve to go easier on yourself."

something snaps inside you at his last few words.

it's not often you cry in front of luke, but you can't hold the tears back right now. it's like everything is pouring out of you; the stress of your exams, the pain of not seeing luke in several days, and the fear of not being good enough. it's all such a heavy burden to carry on your shoulders – and knowing that you have your boyfriend here to take care of you makes you so thankful and so overwhelmed, all at the same time.

luke hears your little sniffles and feels the warm tears on his skin when you hide your face in his neck, and he answers them by brushing a soothing hand up and down your side. "let's have some proper food and relax a little, hm?" he reaches down to press a kiss to your temple. "does that sound good?"

She's somebody who would cofmort you in an objective but warm way while also try to joke around so you won't feel like you're being nagged at (good grief, i cried more while she did that lol) ALSO A SIMP FOR DIMITRIII ‼️‼️

Showing up on the hangout spot to met your friend, Nobara, you caught lots of attention with your pretty pink dress and heels. no other eyes mattered more than the ones of Itadori Yuji, her friend from high school who decided to tag along on the mall.

Yuji had no expectations of you, that doesn’t mean that when you jumped on top of Nobara and started to talk happily, he didn’t feel like that day was becoming the most beautiful of the year — what’s the sound of birds in the morning or waves in the afternoon compared to your voice, Yuji wonders and comes with one answer: insignificant.

It takes you to finish your yapping to notice him, and much like he does, you also fall terribly easily. Unfortunately for Nobara, third wheeling was the only spot she could have in that moment.

So, you did went and made your shopping of makeup and clothes with her, but Yuji was the one taking most of your attention. Your friend tried really hard to be annoyed by it, but let’s be real, this encounter was most likely her idea, she did her own matchmaking of the two of you.

Your social battery started to get low after a few hours, a small pout forming on your lips, Nobara poked at you, but you only sighed, taking Yuji’s attention.

He didn’t want you to go, and with your desperate eyes at him, he knew you didn’t want him to go as well.

“Let’s go watch a movie.” He says, and that’s where Nobara draws the line of what she accept and doesn’t.

“Yeah! No.” You and him stare at her confused. “I mean, sure, you both go! Y/n has been wanting to see this movie with dragons for some time now, but I’m tired.”

In the dark room of the theater, after saying goodbye and a small thanks to Nobara, you are seated by Yuji’s side. Sharing popcorn and a cup of soda with two straws, you had thought you would be quiet, recharging to get back your animation to talk by the end of the movie.

Surprisingly, soon as a dragon appeared, you started to ramble in whispers about cool facts, and Yuji stared at you intensely, so focused that he would’ve prefer to be seeing you in the big screen rather than that movie. But scratch that, having you soo close is much worth.

That’s the first time you kissed, and can you really blame him? Both of your faces so close, an empty and cold dark room, and you looked so adorable with your dress and his jacket on top. No, you really can’t. You wouldn’t dare complain, instead you relented to his kisses, and many other dates, and many other kisses.

You do have from time to time those low battery moments, and thanks to Yuji, your now charming boyfriend, you have your own personal charger, working with small pecks and questions to make you yap about whatever you like. As always, Itadori keeps himself busy admiring you.

Awe thank youuu!!! >.< I think bc I’m such a minimalist in rl it’s easier for me to pick and choose. But here’s a tutorial that’ll hopefully help :33

NOTE! I do everything on my iphone (writing, editing, decorating my page etc just in case ur wondering if I do all this on a laptop/computer,,,I don’t :p)

ʚ The way I work is I’ll choose 3 main colours; a light colour, an in-between shade and then a dark colour. Mine for example : light colour: white, in-between shade: grey, dark colour: dark grey. It’s up to you whether you want ur dark or light colour to be ur main colour but I’d keep ur in-between shade as an in-between. (Think of ur in-between shade as a gradient, helping to blend ur light colour with ur dark colour)

AND CHOOSE COLOURS THAT WORK TOGETHER! Even when picking pictures like for example ur navigation or pinned page make sure the pics have the same three colour combo you used through ur whole blog even if its minuscule it’ll make a huge difference I promise u (so like I’d personally look out for white, grey and black accent pics for my blog on Pinterest) :

ʚ Even with moodboards I still work with the same mindset! :

SET YOUR THEME! Once you’ve figured out your colours and where they’ll go, set your blog’s theme from the editing page!!! (hint : I’d use your mid/gradient/in-between shade as your accent but it honestly depends on what ur after) :

ʚ What really helps is when you have a pic theme and what I mean by that is maybe use ur fav character from somewhere (like mines megumi from jjk) or maybe it’s a sanrio character like my melody. (I grab my pics from this Pinterest board if that helps which I also use for my moodboards)

Example :

⤷ I also found it helped my aesthetic when I added links into my bio to help find my carrd and navigation (here’s the link for the tut) it helps fill out ur bio especially if ur not sure what to put there :) — I know earlier I said I do everything on my phone but I’m not entirely sure if this is able to be done on a phone (android or iphone) so I’d use a laptop with this part if you can :))

Miscellaneous things you can add!

ʚ You can also customise ur ask page title (like mine is : send me a love letter ︎♡)

ʚ Keep ur writing post themes consistent — this helps readers actually remember ur work while also tying ur blog together.

For example, I always use this draft for my writing :

ʚ Fonts really help! I personally use the app : keyboard + + for free fonts (u just have to watch a few adds to unlock them)

ʚ I find it important to make sure whatever picture you add to your blog has a transparent background — not everyone has the same colour palette (like mine is permanently on Dark Mode while others will have theirs on Gothic) :

ʚ Tags make a difference on your posts too! A separate tag index can also help ur followers know where to find certain posts for easy scrolling or maybe posts they want to avoid (like smut) :

ʚ For my pfp I chose a bright main colour like yellow to stand out against the dark grey of my blog and I usually leave this as the last step in my “blog decoration” just because I find it easier once all the main construction is done and then I can see what colour(s) I need to add back to tie my blog together.

ʚ I also like to hide my pfp/avatar from my bio bc it looks a bit too much and too big for me personally and it can sometimes clash with the colours you already have going on, I like a minuscule pfp but again that’s just preference :

1) Hero / Anti-Hero - Meeting Times

"You're late."

"Nuh-uh. I'm not late, you're early."

The Hero grits their teeth. "We said 9PM."

"You said 9PM. I actually have a life, so you're lucky I showed at all." Mask peeled up to their nose, lower half of their face exposed, the Anti-Hero had a colourful bendy straw dangling from their lips as they slurp up the contents of a milkshake.

"This," bites out the Hero, "was your idea."

The Anti-Hero gives a particularly obnoxious yawn, paired with a matching wide-armed stretch. "So? I don't recall appointing you as my mother. Hop off my dick."

Biting their tongue, the Hero has to fight to keep themself from dignifying the Anti-Hero with a response.

"I'm gonna take your silence as a hearty sign that we agree. I'm right on time." The Anti-Hero holds out their milkshake. "Want a sip?"

If looks could kill, the Hero would've broken their moral code five times over by now.

2) Hero / Anti-Hero - Kill Rule

Shit hit the fan the exact second the Anti-Hero showed up. The Hero had things under control, to whatever extent they could with their no-kill rule, but the Anti-Hero had no such dilemma.

Goon bodies dropped, both dead and for cover, as the Anti-Hero sprayed the contents of two handguns across the room. Blood, chaos, and screaming clouds the space, painting death every where the Hero looks.

"No killing!"

"No what?!" the Anti-Hero shouted over their shoulder. "I can't hear you over all this killing!"

Familiar frustration rose in the Hero's chest as the Hero yelled back over the gunfire. "I said, no killing!"

"What?! Oh!" The gunfire on the Anti-Hero's end peters to a stop. Just the metallic ricochet of bullet shells rolling on cold concrete floors. Unfortunately, one bloodied, beaten goon made the mistake of trying to push to his feet.

The Anti-Hero pops a bullet in his skull without so much as a glance over their shoulder.

"What the hell was that?!" Hero snaps, feeling damn close to stamping their foot like a child out of pure frustration. This alliance was already controversy, considering their oppositional stances on the value of human life, and now it was killing people.

"Chill out, dude, I thought you said no quilting."

Quiltingareyoufuckingserious- "That is nothing like what I just said!"

"Obviously I couldn't hear you, man, don't bite my head off."

"Just- just-" The Hero splutters, overwhelmed with the life already lost, cleaning up this particular portion of the criminal underbelly, and - apparently - babysitting the Anti=Hero on top of it all. "No more killing, alright?!"

3) Hero / Anti-Heroine - Jewel Heist

"Oh, I'm so taking this."

The Hero whips around, sensing in his gut that his on-off crime-fighting partner was about to swap sides, just in time to see the Anti-Heroine dip her hand into the shattered glass case of the jewel display.

He's at her side in a split-second, catching her wrist before she can get ahold of the precious jewels they'd just prevented from getting stolen. "Cut it out, would you?"

"What? I did, like, really well today. Saved lives and whatnot, all entirely without benefit to myself. It's my reward."

"No."

"But it's so tiny, they won't even notice it's gone." Again, she reaches for a sapphire jewel that the Hero would never, ever refer to as tiny.

"It is its own exhibit, Anti-Heroine," hisses the Hero, "so I think they will know somebody took it."

"They wouldn't know it was me. Bet they'd write it off as collateral damage."

"I promise they would know it was you. Okay, just- Look, the work itself is the reward."

The Anti-Heroine tilts her head, questioning.

"Uh, you know. Gratitude of the people? Knowing you did the right thing? Pretty... rewarding, emotionally."

"Right..." The Anti-Heroines rolls her eyes, shaking her head as if the Hero was the one not understanding here. "Well, I can't buy new shoes with gratitude and high fives. C'mon, what about just the red one?"

"I said no."

"Fine, I'll settle with the incy-wincy emerald. Matches my eyes, don't you think?"

"Anti-Heroine, I swear to all that's holy-"

She scoffs, but withdraws her hand in favour of crossing her arms over her chest. "You're no fun."

4) Hero Sidekick / Villain Minion- Rescuing Mentors

"-Or, hear me out, we do my plan and it might actually be good."

"My plan is good," the Sidekick bites out. "It minimises civilian casualties and property damage, whilst ensuring we can get to our mentors in the shortest preferable time."

"Your plan is lame. Nothing even blows up. What I am supposed to do with all these bombs I brought?"

The Sidekick eyes the dufflebag trapped snugly under the Minion's foot. "You didn't, right?"

"Like I'd tell you, nerd," says the Minion snarkily. "Your goody-two-shoes ass would confiscate my shit so fast."

"God, you're immature."

"Immature?" The Minion gives a ridiculing laugh, clearly enjoying the act of winding the Sidekick up. "I'm immature? Didn't you literally just graduate from high school?"

The Sidekick splutters, taken aback. "I've been in college for like, two years!"

"Huh. My bad, I didn't know you were just short. Maybe stick to the high school thing. Or invest in heels." Kicking back in their chair, the Minion kicks their feet up, boots now irritatingly close to the Sidekick's face. "Anywho, your plan is all well and good if we have to be totally boring. But how, oh smartypants supreme, do you suggest we get past their primary and secondary reinforced drop-doors without brute force?"

"... I hadn't thought about that."

"So you were wrong." They give a theatric yawn before nocking a forefinger back at their now blank expression. "This is me shocked, stunned, and flabbergasted."

"I'll kill you."

"Ooh, Moral-lad McBuzzkill wants to murder me, I'm sooo threatened." The Minion presses their hands to their face, a picture of mock, exaggerated fear pulling onto their facial expression. "I'm just quivering in my floral Chanel combat boots."

The Sidekick's hands ball into fist, holding their rising anger and frustration back by a weakening threat. Maybe they can list supernatural patience to their resume as a new superpower.

5) Hero / Antihero - Stakeout

"Can you get off the phone?"

The Hero glowers, pulls their phone from their ear and ghosts their hand over the mouthpiece, and hisses, "I'm on the phone."

"Yes, I have eyes."

"So. Shut up."

The Anti-Hero forces out a heavy, exaggerated sigh. They lean back against the parapet wall of the rooftop the pair were stationed on, chin balanced on the palm of their hand as they stare intently at the Hero. Fully intending to disrupt them without saying a word, throw them off their precious conversation.

It takes less than a minute for the Hero glare and stop talking to hold the phone away again. "Do you need something?"

"Oh, only if you can slot it into your super busy schedule, Mister Important," says the Anti-Hero, tone slick with mock sincerity.

"What is it."

"Okay, so do you remember that high security vault we were supposed to be watching?" The Anti-Hero says, taking their sweet time to get to the point out of petty vengeance. "Y'know, the one containing that death weapon some major-league baddies wanna steal?"

The Hero rolls their eyes. "Ugh, yes?"

"It's totally getting robbed right now."

"Oh, shit."

meat I know you love indie sleaze and I have a question about it! crystal castles is kinda lumped in with this genre and to me is has an “edgier” appeal (when I listen to it I feel like a vampire) and I was wondering if this had a specific name within the genre. and if I’m being honest I see indie sleaze thrown around for a lot of things (from early lady gaga to skins the tv show) so does it even count with that? if it is do you have any recs for music like cc/ crim3s/sidewalks and skeletons? hehe thank youuu <3

yes!! so one of the issues with the label "indie sleaze" is that it's being retroactively applied to encapsulate an entire era/scene/aesthetic vs. an actual genre. back in the day we just referred to basically any indie label music as "indie" which could span from folk to twee to underground rock to electro to club pop to hip-hop. much of indie sleaze was based in having wide-ranging eclectic tastes and sensibility for the underground, so hopefully that clears up a little bit why the indie sleaze label gets so messy when it comes to defining a sound and look and attitude!

in regards to crystal castles and their sound, they really super stood out as a very dark version of the more electronic fueled projects at the time, which tended to go for more dance-oriented beats, and crystal castles was super influential in having this specific kind of wild chaotic energy but also these dark droning tones and sounds. their genre kind of formed around them and their sound later as we moved into a more dubsteppy era around 2009-2010 and continuing into 2012-late 2013 (at least at the height of the genre from my perspective on the scene) and was given the name "witch house." weirdly, crystal castles have always carried that "indie" genre for me even after the witch house subgenre became popular, i think just because of that early exposure to them in tandem with other artists like justice, ladytron, boys noize, sebastiAn, etc, where they all sort of kind of had that dark thread throughout their music (i def recommend all of them), and i still don't entirely characterize crystal castles as having all the characteristics of witch house, even though they were a huge influence. witch house was easy to identify due to the way their musicians and titles were stylized, lots of v's in place of u's (CHVRN) or used as an inverted A, all caps, usage of crosses like literally everywhere †††. usually marked by a dark droning sound and high pitched or deep gravelly gothy vocals, as well as darker ideas present, song titles like SACRIFICE, RITUAL, BURIAL. it should be noted a bunch of early witch house was also influenced by remixes, so some of the earlier examples of witch house songs are one off remixes of other electronic songs. you can also see the influence of witch house on a lot of later and current artists like purity ring and polica and laura les, etc.

Filler Title: The Other Human Pt.2

Part 1 is Here

Sans POV

Sans was exhausted, not physically but mentally he was. He sat at Grillbys, tapping his fingers onto the bar table as a cup of Mustard in the other. Grillby Mustard always made feel better but as for right now, the situation was picking at him.

Sans eye sockets were dark, not a sign of that red pupil. He knew the kid has one of the souls, he saw it. The soul of kindness was on Frisk. Sans just hope that old lady he talk to in the ruins was okay, he couldn't visit her like usual because of Frisk being in Snowdin and Papyrus soon to happen battle.

Sans look at the cup of Mustard, 7 souls. Just 7, But what happens if Frisk collects the souls there protecting. Sans then chuckle at that silly thought. Frisk didn't need to know he had two...

In all honesty, Sans wasn't even planning on giving Frisk the two souls he was protecting for Asgore. If Frisk didn't know then it ain't something he worried about. Sans thought were snapped back go reality when the costumers voices lowered to a whisper.

Sans head looked back and saw Yukki walking over and taking a seat next to him. He stared at her still giving that empty socket look.

Course Yukki noticed and asked if he was okay. Sans wanted to say he wasn't due to the fact all the pressure of being a Royal Guard and carrying two dead children souls on him but no human needs to freaking no that he thought. "Yeah" he said.

Yukki raised an eyebrow at him but she just ask Grillby for a drink, not stating what she wanted since Grillby doesn't like touching anything that liquid. Grillby just made an expression and gave her a bottle of soda.

Sans kept staring at her, he wonder why she wasn't dead yet actually. Himself and Papyrus were assigned to kill her when she was comfortable, her gaurd fully down. Now looking at her, she just drinking next fo him. Not batting an eye ro the other monsters who whispered but he realized those whispers were gone into silence.

Yukki head turned and she flinched "Sans...your..." her voice trailed off. Sans didn't even notice his red magic was leaking out his eyesockets and fingers. Red smoke that leak of magic.

God he wanted to kill her, that was his assignment. So why couldn't he? He just stared at her helplessly and it pissed him off. Maybe Undyne was right, he got too close. All of this could be over if he just killed her.

His trance was gone when he felt her hand touch his shoulder. His pupil reappeared. "You say your okay but it seems like your not so uh...we can talk about it? Though..I know you monsters are really into the feely stuff" Yukki laughed low awkwardly.

Sans ended up staring again. He looked away and rubbed the back of his skull with an annoyed smile "God you humans have such am affect" he grumbled as directed for her and Frisk making freinds..

"Hm?" Yukki hummed confused

"Nothin nothin...let's just talk back home..k? I don't want anyone knowing I'm venting to a human" Sans said annoyed.

Yukki smiled and nodded "alright"

'what the fuck' spells itself out with great loopy letters on your arm in black ink, and you smile to yourself at the sudden crudeness. uncapping your pen, you scribble a question on your other arm, 'what happened?' a minute passes before a reply forms on the inside of your wrist, '━━ gave me a ton of work'. you wish it wasn't censored, but you know the rules of having a soulmate, so you ignore it and write on the back of your hand, 'that sucks'. 'yeah' comes the short answer on your palm, for both of you are running out of exposed skin to write on. 'hang on, i've got to finish this,' the sentence fades onto your cheek, which you're able to see in your reflection in the mirror hanging opposite you on the back of the door to your office. you had it hung there for this exact purpose of communicating with your soulmate - you had always been a hopeless romantic. 'back in a bit' the person scrawls onto your other cheek, causing you to chuckle at how peculiar you look with ink all over you and you head to the bathroom to rinse it off before getting back to work - after all, being a fatui harbinger is no piece of cake.

scaramouche leans back in his seat, dragging his hands down his face in irritation. only a second later does he realise he's smudged the fresh ink there, and he groans again before getting up to go clean it. as he's walking down the corridor to the washroom, his mind absently travels to thoughts of his soulmate. they had been chatting with each other via little messages on one another's skin for quite a long time now, almost six months, but they still were no closer to discovering who each other were. the balladeer often finds himself wondering if they ever will meet, though he quickly chases the negativity out of his mind. in fact, he's not sure if he really wants them to meet him, because what if they don't like him? or what if they think his job is too disgusting and that he's an awful person who has a habit of killing those who go against him? well, the latter is true, but he certainly wouldn't want his soulmate to think that about him.

scaramouche looks up as he reaches the door to the grand washroom of the fatui headquarters that's limited for harbinger usage only; it's complete with a huge bathtub, multiple showers and cubicles, basically it's fit for a king. you stroll out, shaking excess water from your hands and smirk at him, "hey, scara." scaramouche feels his breath hitch in his throat. he had been planning not to acknowledge you, because whenever he was near you, his knees get weaker and he finds it difficult to formulate coherent sentences, so it was just easier not to speak to you. but now that you had spoken first, he had to reply! "y/n," he nods once, hoping that's sufficient. archons, when did the sixth harbinger become such a coward?!

"you are as abnormally tall as ever," you state with a playful grin on your lips, and scaramouche can't help but think that he might like to kiss you- wait, no! he can't be thinking like this about you, he already has a soulmate! scaramouche may be a two-faced lying murderer, but he is loyal. "shut up," he folds his arms across his chest, looking away from your mirth-filled eyes. you always love riling up the other harbinger, you can't help it, he looks so cute when he's mad. "what's that on your face?" you squint, noticing the inky tracks on his cheeks. "nothing!" scaramouche panics, bringing his hands to cover his face, which happens to be turning even redder the more he converses with you. "okay..." you move back, "if you say so, mr balladeer." "look, you don't get to mess with me just because you only came back from your mondstadt mission yesterday, alright? i'm in charge here," scaramouche glares up at you. he's not actually upset, but he does doubt his heart will be able to handle it if you keep teasing him, so he better nip it in the bud. you stand up ramrod straight and salute him, "yes, sir!"

scaramouche, the sixth harbinger of the fatui, is left speechless from your quick-witted replies, and so he huffs before storming into the bathroom, pretending as if there isn't a cherry blush darkening his cheeks.

'hi loser' the words form on your palm, and you roll your eyes before writing on your other palm, 'thanks for the lovely greeting'. 'you are very welcome,' the sentence appears on your inner wrist, and you can't help but giggle at the blatant sarcasm. 'anyways...' the words begin travelling up your arm as your soulmate scribbles on his 'it's raining right now for me'. you glance out your window, only to find it actually is pouring with rain, the sky painted with grey clouds. 'same!' you message back, squeezing the single word in between your partner's huge writing. it was one of the first things that caught your eye when you started "speaking" with him, his giant cursive writing that spread across your skin like a map of stunning calligraphy. sure, it was more than a little tedious to clean it off, but you didn't mind - you found it pretty.

'let's go outside, i'm bored' your soulmate writes, and you reply with a beam 'sure :)'. you're aware the chance of you actually being able to see your soulmate is incredibly low, and it's more likely to be a happenstance that it's raining where both of you live. however, you always were a dreamer, so you skip out of your office and outside. you don't bother bringing an umbrella or a raincoat, only carrying a pen to communicate with your lover. not to mention, it's super hot and stuffy in your room, so you're excited to bask in the refreshing coolness of the rain.

it's safe to say you're shocked out of your wits when you see scaramouche standing out there too, raindrops beginning to soak his clothes.

your brain scrambles to find a logical reason for it, and you decide he must have been suffering from the heatwave too. "scara, what are you doing here?" you ask, still eager to satisfy your curiosity. he blushes, seemingly for no reason, but it's actually because he doesn't want to divulge the real explanation, "i felt like it." "oh, okay," you chuckle at his peculiar behaviour, "i'm here because my soulmate invited me to come out." scaramouche's indigo eyes widen for a millisecond, but he tries to brush it off. there are millions of people in teyvat, and there is a high possibility that your soulmate had just coincidentally chose to ask you to come relax in the rain. he wasn't your soulmate... right?

'so, how does the rain feel?' scaramouche scrawls onto his palm, cursing how awkward he sounds and also maintaining one eye on you. when words start fading onto your hand, scaramouche doesn't know whether to laugh or cry, but he does know that he can't keep denying this. "y/n..." "scara!" the two of you speak at the same time, and being such a 'lovely' (said no one ever) gentleman, scaramouche frowns, "you first." "so, i guess we're soulmates, huh?" you ask, unsure how else to deliver the bombshell of information. scaramouche wants to melt into the floor, but he nods, "i suppose so." his nonchalant reply has you pout at him in false anger, "that's all you're going to say? jeez, way to wreck my dreams of a dramatic confession."

scaramouche gulps down his nervousness, forcing himself to summon all his courage. this just explained how he's always liked you beneath his thorny personality, he just believed you and his soulmate were two different people, and when combined with his inability to display affection, he did tend to come off as more than a little rude. "well..." scaramouche moves closer to you, rain and his hat obscuring his expression, but he cups your face with a calloused hand, doing his best to be as gentle as possible, "maybe i can try again?" and it's with a surprised yet pleased giggle that you lean forward and press a kiss against his lips, "sure! after all, we've got the rest of eternity to spend together, scara."

"it might not be that bad if i get to spend it with you."

"did i hear that correctly? the great scaramouche was being lovey-dovey?!"

"shut up, i'm never being nice again."

| barista’s notes : hi there~ i apologies for the extremely long wait for your coffee order but now it is there ╲ʕ·ᴥ·　╲ʔ my day today hasn’t really been the most active at all to be completely honest with you, that lovely time of the month has arrived and i couldn’t help myself but sleep through the pain  ʕ ㅇ ᴥ ㅇʔ but moving on from that, i hope you enjoy your order of a cup of classic black coffee (jujutsu kaisen request!) and i hope you come back soon! ʕ ���ᴥ•ʔゝ☆

“Gojo sensei, why don’t you just confess to L/N-sensei already?” Itadori curiously asked, causing the white-haired teacher to lift up his blindfold to look up at his first-year students, who were all standing around him on his chair, with a somewhat confused expression.

“Yuji-kun, what are you talking about? Confess? Ha?” Gojo asked in confusion, wondering why his student was asking such a weird question as well as wondering how Itadori knew about his feelings towards you.

“Sensei, it’s so obvious that you like L/N-sensei! There is no denying that fact,” Kugisaki shouted in frustration, annoyed at the fact how her teacher was so ignorant to the fact that it was clear as day that his infatuation towards you was just painful evident.

“Ah~ you guys caught me~” Gojo teasingly admitted with his hands stuffed into his pocket, before smiling up at the three students that were staring at him with dumbfounded faces.

“WAIT SO YOU KNEW YOU HAD FEELINGS?” Both Itadori and Kugisaki yelled in anger, causing Fushiguro to give both them as well as his teacher a glare of annoyance due to their loudness.

“Fushiguro, who is that?” Kugisaki quietly asked as she pointed towards someone that was walking towards the first-years and Gojo with Principle Yaga right beside them, discussing something that seemed extremely important between both the adults.

“That’s L/N-sensei, she teaches at the Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College but from time to time, she does come over to this school to teach us as well,” Fushiguro explained, as he watches you finally stop right in front of them with a small smile on your face.

“So, these are the two new first-years you were talking about,” you commented to Principal Yaga before introducing yourself towards the three. “My name is L/N Y/N, and you all will be seeing me here from time to time since I’ll be helping you all, but you already know me Megumi,” you stated before gently patting the young boy’s head, causing Fushiguro to smile kindly at you.

“Ah~ isn’t it little Y/N? Have you gotten shorter over the past few months that I haven’t seen you?” Gojo then asked in a playful tone as he placed his giant hand on the top of your head, causing a sudden wave of irritation to hit you once you heard the shaman’s voice. “Well, well, well isn’t it dumbass Satoru? Are you still salty at the fact that I beat you in our last match?” you asked mischievous tone as you then violently pinched his right cheek before pulling it as much as you could.

“Are they dating?” Itadori then asked his friend, only to receive a simple ‘no’ as a response from Fushiguro, causing all three of them to continue watching the mess that was unfolding right in front of them.

“Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch,” Gojo painfully panicked, before you suddenly let go of his face leaving an extremely bright ruby red mark on his face where your fingers were. “That hurts Y/N, who is going to even date you with your abusive antics?” Gojo mocked, causing you to instantly reply with “definitely not you, idiot Satoru,” you quickly answered back leading to the powerful shaman to express a blank expression his face before instantly replacing it with a cheeky smile to cover up what he was feeling - yet, even with that split second change, Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki all notice this and began to wonder the same thing.

‘Does Gojo-sensei like L/N-sensei?’

“You should really confess to her,” Kugisaki suggested to her teacher, causing both Fushiguro and Itadori to nod in agreement - most likely to not be a victim to her wrath if they had disagreed with the female student.

“Maybe you should give her flowers? Or maybe some chocolate since L/N-sensei really like sweets,” Fushiguro commented, causing everyone to look at him with confused expressions on their faces.

“How did you know L/N-sensei loves sweets?” Itadori asked in a perplexed expression, as he wondered by Fushiguro would know such a random fact about you, causing his classmate to sign in frustration before explaining with, “when I was younger, she would always have a few small snacks in her pockets and would offer me some when I was upset or after picking me up from school,”.

“Awww that is so cute Fushiguro, L/N-sensei was basically your other parent,” Kugisaki commented with her hands hold her cheeks while squealing as she imagined the little image of you crouching down and giving a mini Fushiguro a chocolate chip cookie.

“Sensei, listen to Fushiguro and get a box of chocolates! The expensive kind as well because good food is anyone’s best friend,” Kugisaki ranted, as she was getting excited to set this couple up like she was cupid with the arrow - well...more like the nails and hammer.

“Or just get L/N-sensei’s favourite, which is…” Itadori added into the conversation before turning to his shikigami user friend, waiting for him to complete his sentence. Fushiguro turned to look at Itadori before quickly answering, “Meiji Milk Chocolate,”

“That’s quite a cheap chocolate,” Itadori then commented before Kugisaki quickly commanded, “it doesn't matter! Gojo-sensei, you need to go and buy that chocolate as soon as possible since L/N-sensei is coming to teach us today, so better hurry it up!” leading to the special grade shaman to sigh loudly as he quickly standing up from his seat to on his own two feet before making his way out of the room, quickly waving his arm out to all three of his students as a simple ‘see you later’

After an extremely quick run to the closest convenience store, there was no surprised that Mr Gojo “I like eating sweets as well” Satoru came back with a small white bag with the store logo filled with masses of different types of sweets and chocolates nearly overflowing to the top, making any sweet-tooth child that saw this exceedingly jealous at the adult.

Walking around the grounds of Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, Gojo was in search of both you and his three students, wondering where all four of you could have gone since he was very certain that there were no missions needed to be completed by anyone from what he was informed. 

However, there was a sudden sound of laughter coming from his left side causing the shaman to quickly turn in that direction and from the sounds of it, it was definitely Kugisaki laughing her ass off at something right now at this current moment in time. Turning his feet, Gojo steadily made his way towards the direction of the sound, hoping that he would find you and the rest there on wherever his feet would guide him.

After finding his way, Gojo had unexpectedly come to the amusing sight of both Fushiguro and Kugisaki - who was still laughing her ass off - sitting on the stairs that were leading to the track field of the school, with you casually standing with your hand in your pocket as Itadori was face planted on the ground from what he assumed was from your beating in your react combat training match.

“I can’t lie Yuji, you’re definitely stronger than I had imagined, if you are able to somehow combine both your physical strength with your curse energy equally, you would be able to beat Todo in no time,” you commented, as you stretched your arms to realise some of the tension that had gained from the little practice match you had with the salmon-haired student.

“Are you sure about that sensei?” Itadori excitedly asked as he quickly lifted his head up from the ground, causing you to gently smile at the young boy before nodding at his question. Leisurely, you turned your head towards the other students to ask whose turn it was until you suddenly saw an exceptionally tall figure standing behind the seated Fushiguro and Kugisaki.

“I guess class has to be dismissed for you,” you quietly mentioned to all the three students causing them to then look at the direction you were glancing at, only to find their playful teacher waving at them with a bright smile on his face.

“Yo~ it seemed like all of you had taken a beating, especially you Yuji,” Gojo stated, causing the Itadori to look away with a tired expression before steadily getting up from the ground. “Also, you all can head back into your dorms to freshen up from your training session since I need to have a chat with L/N-sensei. Class dismissed,” Gojo suddenly announced, leading all the first-years to look confused before seemingly realising what their teacher was going to do once they caught the slight of the small white bag that was in his hands.

Quickly making their way up the stairs, Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki all gave you a wave ‘goodbye’ before making their way back to their rooms, making you and Gojo the only people that were in the area right now.

“What is it that you want, idiot?” you asked, before making your way towards him with a tired expression painted on your face before positioning yourself on the stairs where Kugisaki was previously seated, leading to the white-haired shaman to take a seat next to you - where Fushiguro was previously. 

Suddenly, you unexpectedly heard a loud sound of something ruffling causing you to turn your head, only to now discover the small white back that your Tokyo rival was carrying to then also quickly detect that it was filled with chocolates and sweets leading to a cute little shine in your eyes to which didn’t go unnoticed by the white-haired man.

“You looking at something sweetie~?” Gojo teasingly asked, causing you to look up at him before quickly turning your head away to the opposite direction, embarrassed that he had caught you peeking at his little snack bag. Although, a few seconds later, you suddenly saw two rectangular boxes that were in both brown and white colour appear in front of your face leaving you in a confused state before hearing “I thought you would want something sweet after teaching my students, like a thank you gift I suppose,”

Hesitantly, you grabbed the two packages before slowly turning back your head to look at your jujutsu sorcerer colleague to see what he was resting his chin on the palm of his hand, somewhat covering the lower half that wasn’t covered but no enough for you to not see the pink hues that were slowly appearing on his face.

Deciding to not ruin the moment, you peered down at the chocolate that Gojo had given you to only suddenly find that he had brought your favourite kind, Meiji Chocolate but he had also added the white chocolate version for you to which put a gentle smile upon your face.

“Oh~ are you liking my gifts?” Gojo playfully asked you as he peered upon your face causing you to look at him with an irritated look. “Way to ruin the moment, you fool,” you then stated before carefully opening the box as you then slid out the foiled covered chocolate before processing to remove the shiny wrapping, only to be presented with the smoothest looking bar of chocolate you have ever laid eyes on. 

Admiring the sweet treat for a few seconds, you began to break the top row of cubes because handing it towards the shaman that was still looking at you. “Here and thank you for the chocolate, I really appreciate it,” you quietly said to Gojo, leading to the shaman to look at you with a shocked face - since you rarely thanked him for simple things like this - before using taking a bite of the chocolate that was still in your hands causing you to blush extremely from his actions. 

“HEY! At least take the chocolate from my hands and not eat it while I’m holding it, you snow idiot!” you shouted at him before feeling something being gently pressed upon your lips while a hint of sweet milk chocolate could be tasted.

Instantly dropping the chocolate bar on your lap, you slowly raised your hands and gently placed them upon Gojo’s cheeks, keeping him still as you wanted to savour this moment a little longer with him. Just a little longer. 

The taste of chocolate was sweetly addictive and there was nothing that could make you want to pull away. You were just plainly addicted. 

Slowly, you moved one of your hands to place it behind his head while placing the other arm over his shoulder. You just needed him close to you. You were willing to let him take your last breath if that meant you get to taste the sweetness that was being shared between the both of you right now.

Unwillingly, you felt yourself and him begin to pull away due to the lack of air, leaving both you and Gojo with heavy breaths. However, before Gojo could ever get a word in between the silence that was surrounding the both of you, he suddenly felt you pull his head back towards you only to feel your lips upon his in a desperate state, letting him off with no choice but to enjoy the feeling on unconditional love that was evolving between both you and him.

As well as the sweet taste of chocolate.
