Wukong could literally see how red you became as you look at them, Clearly a switch was flipped in your head as you yelled....

Wukong sat their with a huge blush as you shot solor flares out of your mouth at the traumatized guards. He's now trying to think of a safe way to ask you out.

Though Immediately they knew something was wrong because of how nervous everybody was around you, even fruity felt how fake the laughter was as you told joke. Everyone froze.....as you turned redder and redder in your fury.

(NR Wukong) Oh man If it wasn't for his immortality he would be dead by now. Like seriously he's the only one I know with a deathwish and kinda aware of it! He was just loving listening to you talk and tell him jokes he genuinely laughed at, and over time you both got close to each other until one night you were at a club. Somebody was stupid enough to heckle you at your jokes, and Wukong and you became annoyed with him but you kelp going entertaining Wukong. Until the same person got a few people to rally and heckle you, Wukong was beyond fed up and that's when you shot a shot flare near the guy making him shat himself and a few others in terror. Wukong knew you were the one for him immediately, his one and only star, as he watches you rampage all over the bar with your solorflares. You beautiful psychotic laugh is Music to his ears🥰.

Silly girl would giggle at everything, but Luier was slow to understand your jokes. On a brighter note (get it brighter?😉😆) The three of you became fast friends and the two children would come by to hang with you. Unfortunately that's when papa sun finds out about your get togethers. Wukong of course immediately starts assuming things but then everyone Except for Wukong noticed how you seem to be getting redder and redder as you stood with a forced smile. Then suddenly you looked like you were gonna sneeze, and Luier immediately knew what that mention and yelled to warn his dad. Too late though you shot a solorflare right in Wukong's face leaving burn fur and sunburn, you frantically apologize to him as You and the children put burnt cream on him. Meanwhile Wukong was making plans involving baby solar cubs😏

(Netflix Wukong) Just great two megalomaniacs🙄 except One has no idea what the other is capable of😧. Now, of course, Wukong would stupidly provoke you. The only one great around here is him, so you should back off and take your corny puns with you. That's when he learns how dangerous you truly are, Wukong had gone off to fight demons without you and now you were super worried about him demanding him to either return home or let you fight along side him.

(Wukong) look I appreciate your concern but I really don't need....😒

Then Wukong watched you shoot a solor flare at an oncoming enemy completely turning them into ash.

(Destined one) He immediately thinks something is up with you, nobody is this friendly and happy despite your Excruciating puns. You always greet thr Destined one with a smile and laugh as you tell another sun pun to him. Now why does he feel that way you ask???? wellll it all began when he met you and came across your territory home. The Destined one felt like he was being watched and felt like he should keep his guard up. He was right to do so to.....

The opposite, actually, she questioned him when he didn't think about smaller moons being practically kids when he recruited them for the revolution and when he started villainizing Europa and Ganymede. And Titan didn't show any signs of being attracted to her, while still being happy to see her. My Thoughts on Vercury + Doodles

To be honest, my relationship with this pairing is literally a love-hate one.

When I first heard about it, I’m not going to lie, I was super turned off. This was during SolarBall’s early episodes, where Mercury was shown constantly being bullied by Venus and I could not imagine being paired with my bully if I was in a similar situation. There was no chemistry between them, and even if there was, it wouldn’t be healthy. Especially during the whole Venus’ name arc, where Mercury constantly mocked him and got an asteroid to the face. Personally, the ship made no sense to me and sounded downright toxic. But of course, the more recent episodes came out. The atmosphere (even though there’s no atmosphere in space lol) between Mercury and Venus seemed… more neutral than hostile or tense. This is mostly because Mercury started to stand up for himself. Two scenes of note is the moment where Mercury laughed at Venus’ comment during the Rocky Planets episode and when Mercury snapped at Venus during the ‘Solar System by Size’ arc. What’s interesting is that after Mercury yells at him, Venus looked regretful, which was definitely new. Mercury didn’t shout at him about the consequences of him siding with the Sun or anything like that either, he simply said that he was fine with Venus hating him ‘for the sake of everyone else’. After that, Venus didn’t immediately change his mind but did try to explain his side of things, which was also new. As of right now I still don’t see anything happening between them, but I definitely do see the appeal in the ship and the potential for it to eventually happen.

From a settings standpoint- the potential is obvious. We don’t know what happened to cause Venus to pick on Mercury so much, we don’t know what their past was like, and with the answers to those questions revealed, Mercury and Venus might reconcile. Venus clearly has a lot of problems with his conditions as being called ‘a literal hell’ by the Earthlings, and Mercury also has his own insecurities and issues with the Sun. Mercury is already learning how to deal with these things, but Venus hasn’t quite figured it out yet. I’m quite interested on how Venus will be developed and how Mercury will play a role in this. I don’t think Venus downright despises Mercury, and vice versa, but they do have a ton of shit to sort out which may lead to a hopefully happy ending. Now, from a character standpoint there’s also a ton of potential. Venus and Mercury are kind of opposites, and yknow the saying… opposites attract. It would be really sweet if Mercury could calm Venus down when he was getting too ticked off, and Venus could treat Mercury nicely in his own way. Their personalities contrast really well. I didn’t like Vercury before because I felt if it actually happened Mercury would just allow Venus to treat him like crap, but now I feel like Mercury would know how to set proper boundaries and they would be equals. In a healthy relationship, there shouldn’t be a power imbalance, so with Mercury’s character development and Venus’ potential to change and be kinder (though not necessarily gentler) power imbalance shouldn’t be a problem. Another aspect is the fact that Venus and Mercury are both quite lonely. Earth and Mars are extremely close friends (or more haha), and while Mercury does have the Sun, he’s kind of forced to walk on eggshells in that relationship. They’re also neighbor planets, so there’s that. In all, I definitely agree with the concept of Vercury, but if it should happen, it should be after Venus and Mercury at least began to try and sort everything out. The new Solarballs episode is basically angst potential and I loved it, so mini rant (again).

Spoilers below:

Tw: Manipulation, mental health problems and implicit character death discussion

Uranus keeps being manipulated by X like people already have pointed out. Like, damn, he even talked about the "Caelus should be your name" thingy with the guy. (Also, wtf X, really? "The butt of the joke"? Be fr). Every time Uranus seems to doubt him, X immediately caters to his feelings in a very shady way if you ask me. And, as always, Uranus is too insecure to question the morality of literally doing the same thing that Jupiter did, only to get the "privilege" of being in Saturns orbit. Uranus is not thinking it trough, and X is taking advantage of that.

He straight up told him that he knew what he wanted: "recognition".

The Sun is also being pressured and kind of manipulated through guilt tripping... X is really playing chess with them.

Then there's Jupiter... Oh Jupiter. He was basically gone at that point. When the moons (and Neptune) found him he didn't want to hear them out AT ALL. He thought they weren't real. The time he was vanished wasn't even that long, but he was full of enough guilt, paranoia and shame that he just needed that extra push to absolutely break down. When he explained to the group what he did to try and compansate his mistakes, he genuinely thought it wasn't enough because he failed to save some of the early planets.

Some-of-them.

Like, the actual inner planets are *literally* alive thanks to him, something that the group tried to explain, but he still thought it wasn't enough. His mistakes still haunt him, specially now that he's alone. Jupiter doesn't have a "vendetta motivation" to keep himself sane like X did. He gave up on returning thanks to all the shame.

(The Solar System could collapse if he doesn't realize how important he is).

AND, I know the fandom loves them, THEIA IS FINALLY CANON GUYS. I just know that the rocky planets angst enthusiasts are going to love this one. Also, also, we can't forget that Jupiter tried to protect them (as he did with all other celestial bodys after the incident) and failed... Do with that as you wish.

It was interesting and full of different events that I want to tell you about.

To begin with, the Sun cares about the position of the planets in their orbits. But the idea of placing all the planets in other orbits is a very bad idea(

AND I BLOODY LOVED THE WAY NEPTUNE CALLED EARTH TERRA!!! Because I'm writing a fanfic based on Solar Balls and plan to make a comic based on it. The thing is, in that ff, a lot of the planets (especially Venus) were very familiar with Proto-Earth. And affectionately referred to it as Terra. After Proto-Earth collided with Theia and was reborn as Earth, some planets still sometimes refer to Earth as Terra.

And yes, the Sun has finally gone mad))) But that's what I like about it - chaotic. It was immediately clear that Mercury is happy to orbit Mars next door. Sure, he'll be happier with Mars than with Venus, but I'm sure it won't last long..

But I’m currently waiting for the Solarballs team to simply just drop so much Sun trama on us. Just like with Titan, Ganymede, Europa, Earth- you get my point?

A character does something bad, and they get redeemed in one way or another, a pattern almost. It’s honestly kinda funny watching ppl hate over him at this point.

Honestly I don't get the switch up on the Sun. He's always been like this- it's not like this is the first cruel thing he's done.

And yea!! looks like they're leading up to him having some bigger backstory which I'm excited about he's one of my fav chars. :3 He's finally getting more content!!

I only hope that they don't redeem him super fast. I LIKE that he's this awful guy. Like Earth?? He was way more interesting when he was an ass, I don't really care for his character anymore (I don't dislike him either I just thought he was funnier before) 😭but that's my own opinion.

Solarballs 'Moon Revolution Mercury' AU, why Mercury + Titan Friendship would be awesome:

*Mercury needs a friend that doesn't care about his small size.

*Titan would treat Mercury with more respect, than the Inner Planets ever did.

*Unlike Earth, I think that Mercury would be amazed that Titan + Other Moons can have life... and Titan would be happy that one planet supports him having life.

*They both also can empathize with each other, about being the UNWILLING FAVORITE (Sun + Saturn).

*Titan would totally defend Mercury from Venus.

*Mercury would remind Titan that some planets are kind. :)

I actually have an idea for a fic that goes well with this: What if Luna brought Mercury as “backup” to go see Titan?

Before asking Deimos and Phobos, Luna spots Mercury and asks for his help. Mercury hesitantly agrees, finds out what Earth actually did, agrees to help Titan, and the plot goes on from there with a MoonRevolution!Mercury.

(Also it would be really funny if the other moons thought that Mercury was a moon. He goes from “smallest planet” and “third-largest moon” and he loves it.)

LAST ARC OF THE YEAR RAMBLES

okay this is RAMBLES rambles aka your average school essay so erm lets go!!!!!

Section 1 ✨last arc of the year✨

from what i've gleaned so far from the 30 seconds i can see on patreon *sobs in poor* the last arc is called 'battle for planet x' and im guessing the moons and planets (probably the rockies + neptune + maybe saturn) are gonna team up to somehow reinstate jupiter in the system.

theres almost definitely gonna be a confrontation between planet x and jupiter, and maybe saturn. there are multiple ways this would pan out so here are a bunch of possibilities:

1) planet x forgives jupiter after realising how important he is and backs down, either a) returning to his second orbit outside the kuiper belt, b) going to a new orbit closer to the system or c) leaving the system altogether to go join a new one or be rogue 2) planet x doesnt gaf and proceeds to beat the shit out of jupiter (and maybe the other planets asw) until a) the sun intervenes and probably kicks him out or b) rules the solar system, although this is pretty unlikely

3) option 2, but jupiter (and maybe saturn, neptune and the rocky planets & moons) smack his blueberry looking ahh outta there instead, either a) diplomatically b) crazy asteroid fight c) diplomatically, but yelling

4) a compromise where both planet x and jupiter get to be part of the system, though probably not because of the one and only gravity (curse you issac newton!!! /j)

or maybe 5) jupiter won't come back at all and planet x's manipulation tactics end up working, uranus becomes caelus (booo!!! hes iconic planet x do NOT steal that diva away from me) & essentially planet x's puppet.

obviously there's a lot of other different plot deviations possible but these are like the ones i can skim off the top of my head so im gonna refer to any other possibility as option x. because x unknown mysterious omg ahahhahha im so funny

if planet x doesn't pull a crazy plot twist and the most probable, humane and kid-friendly option (1) happens all the planets are almost definitely going to swear to NOT make any more your anus jokes because that's what planet x uses to manipulate uranus, his insecurities.

(gonna pull a side quest here and argue that uranus should've had a much more cold and stoic personality because coldest planet buuuut i'll make a rant later, not now)

however if solarballs wants to un generic itself and pulls an option 2, 3, 4 or no option at all then idfk man probably the same scenario with uranus if planet x does genuinely GET OUT!!! of here

anyways heres list of all the probabilities based on its likeliness because i am bored (most likely to least, left to right top to bottom be grateful i'm not torturing your fingers with the amount of scrolling you're doing) 1a, 2a, 3c, 3a, 1c, 1b, 3b, 4, x, 5, 2b

my personal favorite is option 3b because we haven't had any good fights in a long time live laugh moon revolution lol

Section 2: THEIA

okay so i absolutely fucking love theia and one of the first arcs of 2025 are DEFINITELY gonna be the long-awaited THEIA ARC!!!

based on jupiter's guilty ass interactions when talking about theia we can assume that he IS in fact guilty for theia and earth colliding. i searched to make sure, and yep:

venus being on the list of potential murderer surprised me ngl but it would tie into their personality

anyways here's a theory: mars knows. venus probably suppressed the memory because that's what some people do but mars probably experienced flashbacks of theia's collision with earth when jupiter admitted to brutally massacring the early rocky planets.

this is all speculative because i dont have patreon and cant see the post detailing solarballs' 2025 plans so

I don't think people take into account that the moons being treated like lesser beings didn't just start it'd been going on for what was probably billions of years, Earth's insult was just the thing that pushed everything to boiling point.

This isn't to say you can't be sympathetic for the planets or you can't like them, you can be sympathetic towards a character while acknowledging they messed up, characters do not have to be entirely good to earn sympathy for the shit they've been through and even if there's nothing sympathetic about them you can still like them.

I think this is what really annoyed me about people who act(ed) like Ganymede and Europa were completely evil with no redeeming qualities, it wasn't like they were just suddenly deciding that they wanted this, they had no ability to do anything till the moon revolution, Callisto literally says they're dependent on the planets and it's never going to change.

I see less of it after the trails but I still think people undermine things, using an example here but I looked at the solarballs subreddit and saw a post saying that the show trying to make Ganymede and Europa have even a little justification for their actions or saying Titan wasn't really correct for acting like everything was their fault was horrible writing and that they wished Eruopa and Ganymede got killed off (I understand not liking a character but wishing they got killed off is stupid, especially when that wouldn't benefit the plot in any way)

I'll be honest, the Solarballs Reddit is really pretty shitty so I take everything they say with a grain of salt. I don't want to go too off topic here but a lot of people there act like every non-canon ship is inherently wrong, even the people on Fandom wiki seem to be better than them to be honest.

If you'd been in that situation I'm pretty sure you'd jump at the opportunity at being seen as an equal, it wasn't a new thing they'd been actively treated as lower beings for the majority of their existence.

This isn't a Sun bad or Planets bad thing, I really like their characters too and love watching and learning more about them but this just really bothers me.

SPOILERS for "The Big Bang - Part 2"

OH MY GODDDDD THE NEW EPISODE!!!! I AM GOING CRAZY OVER IT IT WAS SO GOOD OMFG

I thought the solar system trials were the best arc yet, but THIS? this is PEAK solarballs content i am living the DREAM rn

I was hoping to talk about everything in this episode in detail, but tumblr is a COWARD and won't let me use more than 10 pictures for a single post, so i'll try to be brief

First of all, I HAVE to talk about the earthlings, I adore them and the fact they're getting screentime in a such important arc makes me SO happy

You're telling me that both Astrowife and Junior were waiting for Astrodude to come back from work so that he can continue telling the story?? I LOVE THEM SM ASTROFAMILY FOR THE WIN

also I love Astrodude for ending the story on a cliffhanger, he's like a dungeon master that drops some giant reveal right before ending the session.

He's so proud of himself lmao

We got more of Sun's backstory and oh boy, it explains his current behaviour a LOT. His obsession with orbits, how emotional he can be, how he wants to protect his planets but doesn't know how. Not to mention all the parallels between him and Jupiter in this episode, which deserve their own post. I absolutely loved seeing all of it.

And despite everything, this episode shows how much Sun actually cares about his planets.

"If you're afraid of the dark, just look at me!"

"And... who do you look at when you're afraid?"

"...Don't worry. I'm the Sun!" chuckle "I'll be okay. "

ILOVE THEM SM I CAN'T DO THIS 😭😭😭

We finally got to see all of the younger giants! Neptune and Uranus were pretty cute, but they only appeared for a few seconds in the episode, which might be for the best. if they stayed for longer, it would definitely mess up the pacing.

I liked seeing young Jupiter, Saturn and Planet X interact. 'Young Jupiter was a jerk' believers, we won! >:D

This scene was SO cool omg, Jupiter crossing the belt despite Planet X yelling at him not to, and then all of those asteroids moving because of his gravity?? I LOVED IT

also the little rocky planets getting destroyed was a bit dark?? no wonder Jupiter is traumatized after this

and oh my god these two shots?? All of them looking in shock, and then as the camera zooms in, the asteroids are replaced by planet remains?? that was SUCH a good moment

To summarize, 10/10. Absolutely AMAZING episode, and I can't wait to see what happens next. My guess? Either:

- Jupiter blames the destruction of the rocky planets on X

- Jupiter becomes paranoid about orbits just like the Sun, and when Planet X doesn't stay in orbit, Jupiter and Saturn eject him

- both of the above
