anyway here's my beloved stinky miitopia party, i've been building up a crossover story in miitopia since i first played the game many years ago, and as my interests have evolved, so has my cast for every replay. (i have genuinely lost count of how many times i have replayed this game)

i'm cringe but free etc etc.... sayaka/lissa/alfred aka aph america have been here the longest (my legacy blorbos, if you will) and are always on my endgame team, so they have immunity. everyone else has been loosely swapped around until it's settled into the form it's in now (and it still might change when i get obsessed with miitopia again). the town/story npcs are not as important or consistent across playthroughs, they're easily swapped around with random characters i find in mii central. the only exception is the great sage, whom i've drawn here. i also think waluigi is my new main dark lord, since he was my first thief before therion entered the picture. never actually drawn him though

cirno is my main protagonist because she is my ultimate legacy blorbo. in my loose story adapting this adventure i like to think she gets the elf class as a mandatory story beat like an fe lord during the arc where the whole gang is getting back together in karkaton. (elf design here is kinda bad, i swear i had a design doodled of it in my sketchbooks but i couldn't find it so i had to improvise)

i had three other "travelers hub" characters in the mage/imp/princess class but i never got around to drawing them because to be honest my miitopia resurgence kinda faded once i finished these drawings........ but i'll get to them too! all these designs are either loosely based off of existing outfits in the game or ones i straight up pulled outta my ass lmao

10th Years "Tomodachi Life" (& My blogs)

On April 18, 2023, one year ago, I wrote a very long article on my blog about Mii and Japanese politics in relation to 'Tomocore', which was released earlier in Japan. I would like to share the English translation of that article, which I used Chat GPT and DeepL to translate.

To be clear, this article contains content that is very distressing for the feminist community, the LGBTQ+ community, and those who struggle with and contemplate human rights issues...

Tomodachi Collection: New Life was released on June 6, 2014, under the name "Tomodachi Life" in America, the EU, Australia, and Korea …etc. Before its release, Nintendo corrected an element related to "same-sex marriage" as a bug. I remember that when some people requested not to correct it, Nintendo responded firmly, saying, "We cannot incorporate social claims," which led to protests from users and human rights groups, resulting in an apology. At that time, I felt I had to summarize this controversy in my own way, but with limited knowledge of gender and the LGBTQ community, I remember feeling uncertain about whether it was appropriate to write "same-sex marriage" or "homosexuality" (I had some hesitation about whether it was "love" when it came to Mii relationships). Therefore, I used the terms "same-sex marriage" and "same-sex relationship." I've quietly revised that clumsy blog post since moving from Seesaa, correcting parts that seemed "discriminatory" or "a bit mistaken," but the overall tone and sentiment from that time remain unchanged, and it still exists today.

Back then, I was still immature, grappling with "fighting the society I thought was normal" in the face of my favorite work and the changing times.

Today, I'd like to share some serious thoughts about politics inspired by Tomodachi Collection: New Life over these past ten years.

"Let's sometimes check how seriously we are living!"

■ Mii's Achievements Almost ten years have passed since the criticism. Following this criticism, "Miitopia" was released, where Mii characters could love anyone regardless of gender (or rather, Mii's gender itself became quite ambiguous), and it was reborn as a fascinating software for the 3DS and later remade for the Switch with enhanced features.

Moreover, Mii showed a remarkable presence in "Miitomo," which was Nintendo's first mobile app launched on March 17, 2016. Unfortunately, "Miitomo" has since been discontinued, but they are now planting flowers in the city with Pikmin in "Pikmin Bloom." I believe Mii are still doing their best.

■ Games and Politics Nintendo has stated, "We strive to create an environment where each employee can demonstrate their abilities," and reportedly introduced a partnership system in March 2021, advocating respect for human rights. This initiative for a diverse workplace includes a section on "promoting women's participation," but although 30% of Nintendo (Japan)'s employees are women, which might be relatively high for a general company, the fact that there are still fewer opportunities for women hasn't changed. Consequently, the fewer female employees, the fewer chances women have to benefit from the partnership system. Although it might be unrealistic to expect a sudden 50% representation tomorrow, I hope for a gradual increase. Additionally, Japanese electronics companies, including Nintendo, have been accused of being involved in forced labor in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in 2020, and they are being asked to report on their stance regarding "modern slavery." ■ Reality Pulling Us Back Now, regarding the much-desired proper sequel to "Tomodachi Collection: New Life" that I and probably the readers of this blog are hoping for, I must point out that the harsh response of Japanese society to the LGBTQ+ community is affecting the existence of the Mii characters. I can't help but think that the political issues surrounding whether to keep Mii's relationships and marriages strictly between male and female or make them more free are hindering development and release. It's likely impossible to create a "Mii who only likes one gender" now. Creating a "Mii who only likes one gender" would break the promise made during the controversy nine years ago when Tomodachi Life was released. The global fan community (honestly, excluding certain communities attacking minorities while jokingly invoking "Nintendo's legal department" and those sharing sensitive information affecting international relations and wars) is not foolish. Moreover, these issues will affect not just Tomodachi Collection but various other games. If it's judged that "human rights are being ignored for business," even the above-mentioned human rights statements will come under stricter scrutiny. Unless these issues are resolved, the development of a sequel to "Tomodachi Collection: New Life" won't be directed (or rather, can't be directed). I now think that the deterioration of Japanese politics over the past decade and the lack of "human rights education" are holding back development.

What I can say to those who wish for the release of "Tomodachi Collection: New Life" is to seriously consider Japanese politics.

If possible, think about human rights and the LGBTQ+ community because while Mii are fictional avatars, they occupy a unique position that can integrate real-life people into the game world, making them inseparable from reality and capable of influencing it.

Being aware of this, reexamining your own assumptions, and stopping discrimination are the quickest paths to development and release.

Is it natural that marriage is only possible between a man and a woman?

Wouldn't it have been acceptable for storks to deliver children to same-sex couples? Wouldn't having a slider setting for 'having children or not' solve this issue? Why is acquiring a home limited to married couples? There are many things we can reconsider.

I feel so seriously that "this country is in a bit of a crisis" that I have to say such serious things 10 years after the release of Tomodachi Collection: New Life. Please understand this small request.

I want the Switch to be imported to a new island in "Tomodachi Collection: New Life," and for Mii to play Zelda, Ring Fit Adventure, and more. I love Mii playing 3DS and WiiU on the 3DS, but I want to say, "Please export the Switch!"

If the economy were a bit better, I think many downloadable content and repairs for 3DS and Wii could have continued. What will happen if the Wii or 3DS of the Mii living on the island breaks down? It's sad to think about, but at the same time, I also feel like Mii could somehow fix it.

■ Tightening Last year, on February 24, Russia invaded Ukraine. In 2013, Russia enacted a law prohibiting the "propaganda" of "non-traditional sexual relations (homosexuality)" to minors. In 2017, a legal amendment decriminalized domestic violence.

Additionally, last November, it became a problem that the Shinto Political League distributed a discriminatory booklet at a meeting of the Liberal Democratic Party's parliamentary group that described homosexuality as a "mental disorder" and an "addiction." On May 19, 2024, it became clear that a Japanese lesbian couple sought asylum in Canada, being recognized as refugees due to compound discrimination against women and LGBTQ+ in Japan. Nintendo, the creator of 'Tomodachi Life,' is unfortunately based in Japan and sometimes absorbs the discriminatory expressions of Japanese society. This issue extends beyond games to other media like manga and anime. I think Japan's situation regarding LGBTQ+ is close to Russia. Women's wages are 75% of men's. I live as a woman in this Japanese society. I encountered feminism in 2017 when Yumi Ishikawa started the hashtag activism #Kutoo, a play on #MeToo. Online visibility of feminists allowed us to see what books and media they were consuming. I was fortunate that when I encountered feminism, K-feminism, including Cho Nam-joo's "Kim Ji-young, Born 1982（KO:「82년생 김지영」 JP:「82年生まれ、キム・ジヨン」)" was spreading in Japan, and I rode that wave.

I have to say, this question really took me by surprise to where I worried if it was with ill intent or not (thankfully some old pals reassured me that this ask might not be), so I'll be answering this question with caution.

To put it simply, it's mostly a mixed bag.

While I had made a lot of good friends in that era, it was also not a good fandom. Being groomed by my IRL ex-friend, my toxic relationship with my ex-partner, the bad people and bad friends I've put up with, even being stalked online and having my boundaries violated (and being painted as the villain for literally setting those boundaries)... I know wasn't perfect either, since I made my share of mistakes.

I remember talking to an old friend about how it was difficult for me to play the Switch version without having to remember the bad memories that came with it. Of all the games I did not finish, I never finished Miitopia for the Switch.

I will say, however, that it does make me smile when people reach out and say that they discovered my work through Miitopia and saw me move up as an artist, and even thanking me for the good I've done for the community. Since I have four semesters left until I finally graduate, and am already having larger projects in the worlds (including my CRK ARG), I tend to forget I didn't start with much. It does feel nice to know that my older works had inspired others at the end of the day. I can't bring myself to delete my old Miitopia works without being reminded that I left a positive impact on the community in one way or another, as much of a flawed person I was back then.

My Miitopia days are far behind me, and I'm more happier with other interests (and especially Cookie Run). As much as I would love to draw my Miisona again on his adventures, I'm more comfortable with distancing from Miitopia on my own terms.

Reached 200 Followers! Let's celebrate!!!!!

I'm still amazed that there are so many of you out there who like what I create. I know I'm mostly known for my TTTE stuff and I always have a fun time drawing art for a series I loved since childhood. So I appreciate everyone who enjoys my humanizations, headcanons, and AU ideas. It's been a fun time being in the TTTE community on tumblr and I'm happy to be a part of it.

That being said, there's still a lot of other media that I'm into and I'd love to create stuff for those too. (Looking at you Miitopia and A Hat in Time) So even if I'm not posting about Thomas, I hope you guys enjoy those too. I'd hate to get burnout by one thing and one thing only. (And speaking of burnout, I'm still trying to overcome that when it comes to my personal life. So I hope you can bear with me on that.)

Also here's one more thing! I think it's kinda funny how my humanized version of James became the face of my blog. When I got into Thomas I thought "Haha wouldn't it be funny if I made James a pretty boy since his character is my type?"

I didn't expect me and so many people to fall in love with him huhuhuhuhu

So here he is for the occasion! We all love a vain and splendid king who is actually the biggest cringefail loser!

Hello there, space traveler. Welcome to our main blog. This is where we keep a master log of all posts from most blogs of ours with some exceptions. This is also where alters without a sideblog will go to post their thoughts or things they make for others to see.

We are a hc-did system of many. We consider ourselves mixed-origin due to being programmed and not having an "organic" did experience if you will.

Our headcount fluctuates constantly so it is hard to give a consistent number out but it is in the thousands.

Our system has many names it goes by with the main one being the Cyberhex System. However, our first system name was the Alice System. I take inspiration for my visual art from a variety of sources, though most are video games.

Despite my first fandom being Sonic The Hedgehog, my first fanart I can remember is of Puyo Puyo. I remember so vividly the desire to replicate that art style, that I just began drawing without a thought.

Then, Miitopia. Then, Animal Crossing. Then, Kirby—specifically, Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

However, I take a notable amount of inspiration from my friends' art and fanart. Yours included, of course. Your art and art process is very inspiring.

i can trace back a lot of our art influence to not just sonic but also the general sonic fandom - there's a specific fanartist that blends sonic with general furry and they were a pretty big influence when we were younger and are why our own sonic art is usually a weird midpoint. actually no there's two specific fanartists and theyre both great and were huge inspirations to ica

after that we entered our lapfox era and that was a heavy influence on a Lot of things. so was lupisvulpes once we watched audience!, there's a specific frame in the 2017 version of come back down that we look at and go "oh, yeah, that's lupis vibes"

we generally stagnated on drawing humans for a long while until we started studying the art of a yogscast fanartist (who is also responsible for how we draw goggles). i remember specifically the way we drew noses for a while was based off of a zelda comic we saw on tumblr? also dunedeca's art, especially switchout

stellarmass was an influence on our alien designs, especially zuraki. also the way somebody we ran into on iscribble drew giegue ended up being the start point that mutated into the limoli. we also spent a lot of time in the deviantart arpg community, specifically dracostryx + world-of-reos + ketucari, and have a strong love of certain closed species like grem2s

i know for a while (2014) we drew fists like the chunky polygonal hands in sa2 because we liked how it looked. the way we draw noses and eyes in our more chibi mcyt fanart style is inspired by someone who i think doesnt draw mcyt stuff anymore?

oh, also, homestuck. just.. homestuck in general. and mlp. i think by now that's gotten mostly shaved off though. most of the time we're shaped by artists in the fandoms alongside us - taking note of what they do and what about their art catches our eye. the thing is, we bounce from fandom to fandom so much that it all kinda blurs together and i guess that's how our style formed - everything's a patchwork

Before I upload Luna Sapphire's Birthday drawing, I decided to show off some of the Recaps for 2022 when playing with my Switch. For Most played, I usually play Animal Crossing New Horizons, Pokemon Cafe Remix and Colors Live. Cause with Animal Crossing New Horizons, I usually like to play with friends or do some random tasks as well as for doing the Happy Home Paradise stuff if I have time to design a house. For Pokemon Cafe Remix, I play it a lot during lunch time and it's the only Free to Play Title I enjoy playing. Especially if I wanted to go to the Pokemon Cafe like if I want to visit Tokyo, Japan. And for Colors Live, I always like to draw since Colors Live is the app I use Besides Medibang Paint.

For 3+ Years of Play, not only I play the two I just said, but I do enjoy playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a lot. I usually like to do online races and even try out the new courses they got for the Booster Pass.

And for Games I played at Launch, I have played Puzzles and Dragons since it just look interesting compared to Puzzles and Dragons and the Mario version on the 3DS, then I got Kirby's Dream Buffet which I enjoyed the game a lot, even though my sister didn't like it much. But I would imagine having Shadow and Spot bring Lisa, Tory, Riya and Vanilla eating the sweets and strawberries after performing ballet together. Especially like if they're going to eat ice cream together. And for Sonic Frontiers, I have told you in the last post when I was sick with COVID, I do enjoy the game since the settings and music just puts me at ease. And for the favorites besides one of titles I told you guys. Not only I like the titles I told you guys, but I have favorites too. Since I do like Magical World 2 since it is my Guilty Pleasure. It's different when I usually play Kingdom Hearts all the time since 1, 2 and 3 were so good.

I have played NES and SNES a lot since that I played back in the past like if I have nothing else to do. Even like when playing some of the classic games I do enjoy, and since I got into the Nintendo 64 and Genesis, it be amazing for me to play when I have nothing else to do. And my sister does enjoy the Nintendo 64 as well since she does enjoy Mario Tennis. For Mario 3D World and Bowser's Fury, I am getting progress when going through 3D World and once I beat it, then I'll move onto Bowser's Fury and see if I can get through the game as well. For Puyo Puyo Champions, I love the game so much it's something I play if I have nothing else to do like every time I play Puyo Puyo, I always imagine Sonic and Puyo Puyo are both related. Some people said that's because they're both made by Sega, and some people also said like it is like we remember Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. I remember it, my dad's remember it, they're both really good. For Smash Bros. Ultimate, I do sometimes enjoy playing online, but I do like to practice some matches when I want to enjoy some fun and enjoy adventure mode. That's why I was thinking of wanting Smash Bros to have an RPG game and collaborate it with Square Enix. And finally Miitopia cause this version is much better than the 3DS version since you get a Horse and customize a Player how you feel about the character, especially when you have some friends you know and care about that want to be in the story. And I also put like characters I know from Anime or cartoons or other video games as well.

Finally my Game Trends. I do like Racing and Multiplayer, but I do like to educate by drawing stuff and educate some imagination besides reading and math. And for Simulation, it sure likes to put me at ease when playing a good Simulation game like Animal Crossing, same when communicating as well. And for the Puzzle games, I do like to ease up my mind with some good puzzles. Especially if I want to solve any clues or cases.

And that's all I have to say for this Year's Recap for the Nintendo games. Hope we'll look forward to next year when Switch make these new titles in the future.

A probably bad idea:

Wii Are Violence:

A wii-themed arena shooter with a single player campaign.

Default miis show up as bosses/mini bosses/NPCs

Abby is an agile boss that can catch player projectiles, but can’t do the same for hitscan weapons.

Insane movement tech that becomes funny when you remember that the miis don’t technically have legs.

Beating the story mode allows You to use miis from the mini channel as characters, with custom stats.

A fake player rank (which maybe could help determine stats) that looks just like the skill level display in wii sports, graph and all.

Servers are community-run, and can decide if they want to allow custom characters and/or stats. Or if they want to ONLY use custom characters.

Matt is the final boss and mostly deals in close-range combat (a combination of fast-paced meele and shotguns)

Enemies caught in a rocket launcher’s Back Blast will react as if you threw the bowling ball backwards in wii sports bowling. A useful way to stun players for a split second, but would be balanced by the slow reload rate of the rocket launcher.

The sniper weapon would either work the exact same as it does in the wii sports resort archery gamemode, or it would be something you could utilize on the fly.

Meele weapons get some love too, with bats dealing more knock back damage, and wii sports resort swords behaving like the swords in MGR: Revengeance.

Miis look just like they would normally but with the option to enable gore when gibbing them.

Funny ragdolls, but since they don’t have limbs it takes the form of a soft body simulation.

I mean we already have a turn-based rpg with miis (miitopia). The only thing keeping this from being a reality is Nintendo’s cowardice.
