They fell into their familiar easy breezy pattern, chit chatting about everything and catching up. Yes, Elvis was just fine. Currently driving the golf cart like a maniac filled with kids and dogs. It seemed things were finally on the upswing for Elvis and his saint of a wife. The divorce had absolutely floored her, sweet little Danny had brought them all back together though. Still, nothing floored Ann more than what Elaine said next. "I was feeling old there for a second... not anymore though" Her voice trailed off and it sounded like she was cupping the receiver of the phone so as not to be heard. She had heard the words from Elaine in the past, just never expected them now. "Thumper...I-I'm pregnant" She whispered, a mixture of a gasp and a giggle.

i feel like the thing that's most noticeable to me about your writing is the descriptive text you use (adjectives, adverbs); there was one reply you did a lil bit ago about quilge's reaction to something being involuntary without putting it so bluntly, but the way it combined with other descriptors in a short sentence helped me visualize his expression, his posture, his reaction to his own reaction- you have a very visual way of writing without overly describing that i genuinely adore!

What is the most noticeable thing about my writing style?

oh , thank you so much ! I do try to go for ... more of a shorter sentence length ( either one to three words, max ) , at times , to help convey various feelings or actions ------ it is a conscious choice in my writing style , to bring attention to something . I try to give something of a different "voice" for all of my characters I write as , but gave Quilge specifically more of a "staccato" type of narrative . I think its fitting , a sort of narrative detachment and focus on a part of various details , which tends to be something quite literal in the piece I'm writing . I go for visceral things . A mix of longer , perhaps superflous or overdramatic , and then the short , intense pieces that prove more of a stronger feeling . or at least , i try to .

Had a thought of Chazz being like "haha I am fearless unlike u" and dares people to go to an abandoned asylum with him. So, it's Chazz, Atticus, Aster and Jesse (and a heavily sleep deprived Syrus) going in this creepy ass abandoned place

We see plenty of times he doesn't get freaked out or intimidated by stuff very often, he calls bullshit. Chazz is the type that would taunt ghosts and try to get them to attack him to prove they were or weren't real in a haunted location 🤭 he's very cavalier in that way and I love it 😌

And tbh that's a banger group

Because Chazz, as I said, would be very cavalier about it, Atticus would be brave but cautious and would be very diligently keeping an eye on him gotta keep his bf in line lol. But tbh I think Atty would be a little bit scared or at the very least nervous, he has that abandoned dorm trauma. Being in any kind of abandoned place I think would make him really uncomfortable. But if Chazz is going, he's going, because he needs to keep him safe. He can't have anything happening to someone he cares so much about.

Aster would probably be a combination if the two of them, cautiously cavalier. He can handle anything that comes his way so he's not at all scared, but he's gonna be smart. Honestly with this group, I imagine Aster's the one who caused Chazz to dare them to go in there in the first place 🤭

Jesse on the other hand, wouldn't be scared but would be very cautious. Ghosts or not in abandoned places I always accociate and assume ghosts are somehow involved so pardon me if I'm purely jumping to conclusions here lolol he's a very smart guy in hiw he proceeds in situations. If they're in a spooky, potentially dangerous place, he's gonna be full caution mode. Nobody is going anywhere in that place alone on his watch, he's inspecting things first when he can ensure that, he's looking out for everybody at all times.

And Sy, well my poor sweet son would be scared enough even with sleep 😭 poor baby's gonna be jumping at shadows and seeing things left and right! He and I are both huge scaredy cats, and let me tell yooooouuuuu! One time in college I was hanging out in my room by myself and I had my hair up and I turned my head and thought my hair flying behind me was a demon and scared the hell out of myself and I was fully awake. So I can tell you Sy would be having the worst time ✋😭
