                       If it wasn’t obvious just how much Riku cared about Terra, he was going to make that point known today. He may not say much, but he observed and from what he had observed was that Terra was still keeping things too tied down to really heal properly from his experiences. While they had had a heart to heart a short while ago where they talked about their experiences in the Realm of Darkness and why they are how they are now, there was still much more that Riku knew that Terra wasn’t telling him. Now, he didn’t know what that was, but he knew that there were still demons that Terra was dealing with that Riku was determined to help him face. 

                       If Terra was ever going to be satisfied with his life he’d have no choice but to open about what’s torturing him. Riku’d seen his nightmares, regardless of if Terra knew he had or not. He knew what was hiding, but he needed the whole story to understand just what haunts him.

                       He slipped into Terra’s room where he knew that he’d find him at this hour of the day and made the conscious decision to close the door behind him and lock it. He had to corner him, and Terra wouldn’t be allowed free until he actually talked for once. Time to be the most stubborn he has been in a long, long time. 

                      “. .  . We need to talk. Not about us.  . . About you.” Riku folded his arms across his chest as hardened aquamarine eyes peered across the room at the brunet. “. . . I know there’s things you’re not telling me, parts of your story that you’re hiding. . .  Why?”

And lol for the caveat of it being something I "LIKE" - with writing? Gah! There goes my one salient point about it.

No, but I do like it. It's kind of a pain in the butt, but when things click, it's a bit of a thrill like being onstage.

For me, writing is the most fun when I'm using it to pick apart character. I love getting to understand and expose psychology, and trying to make links between events and reactions that shape a character into someone we recognise. It's like a puzzle. If so-and-so...Okay, if Obi-Wan experienced this, and reacted like that, then he would have to remember it like this, in order to justify *that* choice, which must be informed by this event as well as that one, which makes him hesitant for this one, as well.

You know? I love that stuff.

And then, sticking them with another person and watching them struggle, and reevaluate, and strategise through a conversation, pursuing their objectives and winning or losing or changing them as they go. I love all that.

Basically, for me, writing is an extended acting exercise! <3
