im trying to find the part where the three girls, all older than them, are charged for murder? or are those girls not going to have to deal with any sort of represcussions???

is this going to be another case of "let's keep these people's identities private!!" or what. are we ignoring the fact that those girls bashed nex's head against the bathroom floor meanwhile nobody helped before, during, or after the situation??? because the media did the same thing with brianna ghey, they refused to release information on her killers until what, a year later? why are we working so hard to protect persecutors but not the ones being persecuted?

there are so many things wrong with this situation, let's start with the fact that an ambulance wasn't called upon nex being found? those three girls had quite literally banged their head against the bathroom floor NUMEROUS times, where was your sense of urgency upon finding a SOPHOMORE, A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WHO IS NO OLDER THAN 16, beaten on the bathroom floor??

we are talking about a 16 year old, somebody with a whole life ahead of them. nex had so much to live for and now their blood is on your hands and i hope that you feel guilty. i don't even think enraged is the word i am looking for in this situation, it's a feeling far beyond rage.

as a society we truly need to do better because jfc. i have to live my life in fear everyday, so do my friends, the people i love, and thousands of others - we aren't scary, we are scared.

adding onto this post because i still have so much to say: nex was no different from you and i, they took interest in the same things we do. nex liked the walking dead, minecraft, and their cat, zeus. but now nex won't be able to partake in the things they love because of how f'ed up society is. the fact that america is perfectly fine with murdering innocent people on a daily basis truly tells you all you need to know. we are fighting a war we will never win because people refuse to accept the fact that trans folk just want to live their lives, almost like everybody else!!

i read in a reblog that nex was twospirit and i just wanted to add that, sorry if it seemed as if i was trying to leave that out, i wasn't aware. that doesn't change anything though and my point still stands.

we are not scary, we are scared.

☾ - sleep headcanon

Sigilis snores like you would not believe, sounds like a freight train running over a mile of chainsaws. It was often the source of irritation for their old Warband because she would end up keeping some of the other members awake. It used to piss off Galla too, but the older they got the more it's become a comfort. Sort of a 'well at least she's still breathing even if it's loud as hell' thing.

Unlike her mate, Galla can fall asleep at anytime, as long as it's fairly quiet. As soon as she closes her eyes and has five minutes to relax - she's asleep. This is a turn that irritates Sigilis because she has insomnia and it takes her forever to fall asleep, if she does. Meanwhile Galla can go "Night." and be unconscious and in restful sleep in under 10 minutes.

☆ - happy headcanon

Sigilis has made it one of her life goals to teach and get Ruby to know as many of the worst insults/curses she knows. She's collected quite a few over the years and a treasure like that shouldn't be wasted. Every time the Sylvari insults something or comes up with her own curse, Sigilis swells with pride.

When Galla met the Olmakhan and saw that there were other ways to raise cubs besides shipping them all off to the Fahrar, she was so relieved. That at least some group of Charr had broken out of the f'ed up system she had been part of. It made her sad, in a way, too. Because the idea of raising cubs instead of just poppin' them out and sending them off forever appealed to her but she's well and past the age for it. So when Valens came along, a sprightly rebel teen with boundless enthusiasm, who needed some form of guidance to keep an eye out for her - she basically got her wish.

♡ - romantic headcanon

Idk if I've said this one before? I feel like I may have. Sigilis thrives on coming up with the worst petnames and ridiculous gushy metaphors, just to irritate her. She gives people she's decently fond of mildly insulting nicknames, people she doesn't care about don't even get one. But GALLA gets the most soppy, extreme, just plain stupid ones. One time she was looking for her at the Hero's Canton and kept going on and on until eventually Galla threw a bottle at her general direction.

And this one I know I've said before, but I'll add it here again. Sigilis loves playing with Galla's braids and hair. Though her mate pretends it annoys her - she actually does like it.

BONUS ROUND: Galla holds a lot of tension in her neck and shoulders, a left over from tensing when pit fighting. Sigilis will stop mid-project to give her a neck rub or just plant a kiss on the top of her shoulder to get her to realize that she's holding tension again.

Galla isn't the best with romantic gestures, but she hasn't given up yet in all the years they've been together. She'll buy her flowers (even if she doesn't see the point to them, they just wilt - that's more depressing than anything) or snacks (at least those have a functional purpose). She'll try to arrange dates (even though she's confused as to what makes a 'date' different than any other event together). But she still tries - and it's the attempt that charms the hell out of Sigilis.

▼ - childhood headcanon

Sigilis tried to run away from the Fahrar a time or two! She hated it with a burning passion because she always got in trouble (sometimes her fault, most of the time not her fault she probably has some form of ADD that's never been addressed). And didn't make friends easily since she put up with 0% of anyone's nonsense. Cubs being jerks? Just kick their ass. Primus punishing unfairly? Put nails in their seat cushion. Scrap duty for a month? Jokes on you - I'm doing it for three months and I'm not even bothering coming to class.

Galla, as she got older, she had several admirers and people who had a crush on her. Which confused her because - y'all legit were trying to kick my ass before, what gives? Hormones, Galla, the answer is hormones. She didn't know until way later that the reason why all the guys flirting with her made her so uncomfortable was because she wasn't into them. Sigilis, contrarily, knew she was into ladies very early on and spent a good long while crushing on Galla from afar.

Okay, so here's my question: What is Fletcher's opinion on other whumpers that keep people as pets? Like, full on pets? Are they like, "whatever. Their business" or are they like, "wtf that's f'ed up." - The-Raccoon-that-is-obsessed-with-Fletcher

A little bit of both but mostly they would think it was f’d up. Obviously they’re not above keeping people captive, but I think forcing someone to act like a dog or cat or what have you would be too much for them.  

They have to do business with crime families and such so I’m just imagining them - and this series is not set in the boxboy universe or anything but for all intents and purposes - at some boss’s house who has a “pet” like that and if they saw a grown human being wearing a collar and idk acting like/being treated like a literal pet, Fletcher would just be like “Well anyway it’s been a lovely evening but I have a long drive back to the woods and I really must be going.” and just essentially pull a shove-breadsticks-in-your-purse-and-run. Like they’re not gonna tell off a mob boss or whomstever but they’ll just be like yeah no thanks.

I did briefly think of a sort of au idea where Fletcher keeps Buck when they find him in the woods as a personal project/experiment to train someone basically from scratch. So in that au they were kind of training him to be a guard dog because their thought process was to like break him down until he relied on Fletcher and took orders unquestioningly, like a dog would. Basically get him to a “don’t bite the hand that feeds” mentality, and then start the combat training once they know it won’t be used against them. But I don’t really have interest in writing a pet story, so I didn’t lol. It was really only a brief scene I had in mind anyway.

I'm gonna write some quick thoughts on this manga I have been reading called a trail of blood oh boy I can't wait to find out about oh dear yeah first chapter is like remember a son and his mother found a dead cat remember cause it comes becomes recalled in chapters . So in general a estranged mother and son relationship forms between the two important cause what u see her due in the family trip chapters is scarring basically she pushes her son's cousin off a cliff making him a vegetable state yeah that's f'ed up basically it's shown she has two sides a gentle side an I can kill u side if u hurt my son now I waited cause this recent chapter Jack's up panic levels the girl whose his classmate loves the main kid an just when she's about to leave boom his mom shows up scaring the crap outta him . For a series that's only 13 chapters long this is supsenful an I hope it continues at a leisurely pace so if u crave suspense then read it anyway that's a basic fast summary.
