I wish people understood that Fern isn't violent or corrupted wholly because of the demon. The guy is Finn without all the emotional maturation post Is That You?, like he was stunted/didn't experience all the growth Finn got between 15-17. Dude spent close to two years where violence was his purpose/the answer to a problem, even if it was for good. I just really like the grass demon, it gets unwarranted blame for Fern being so.... idk barbarous? loutish? well meaning-ly feral?
