might soft launch the gender thing with my mom this weekend
#i love that way of phrasing it SKDJDKS#but rly i'm not worried about her reacting badly like she's very supportive and has asked me before about how to support nb ppl#mainly i just don't want my parents to think it's a Serious Lifeshaking thing with me? bc for me it isn't#so i wanna introduce to her the idea of ppl having various presentations/pronouns/genderqueerness etc as a way to play with the concept#rather than it always being a complete paradigm shift#(for ppl for whom it is a rly big change that's very cool and i'm very proud of y'all that's just not how it is for Me personally)
