🌿how does creating make you feel?

creating makes me feel very accomplished and also it's very freeing. like being able to express myself in some creative way, whether it be writing, crafts, performing arts, etc, is such a good self-esteem boost so much so that i went in a career path that involves a lot of creativity!! but really, being able to show myself in some kind of physical form is incredibly freeing and i fucking love creating <3

☯️how do you think engaging with each other through tumblr, twitter, comments, kudos, creates healthy fandom experiences? How do you deal with that if you're not a social person/experience social anxiety?

THIS IS A GREAT QUESTION!! i think this is why i gravitated towards fandom in the first place way back in 2013 when i moved to a new state and knew nobody. it was the first time i experienced social anxiety in real life and having something like fandom to fall back on for social interaction was really therapeutic. i think it creates healthy fandom experiences because we all do this for fun. some people have monetary ties to fandom (which is great! go off!!), but most of us do this in our spare time simply because we love it. we all get to start with a common ground (the media we consumed) and then branch off into personal relationships from there. i love being a part of fandom and i love meeting new people in this way!! i'll admit sometimes it's hard to not gravitate towards discussing media in real life as a way to make friends BUT sometimes it truly does work!! i even have friends who will text me after they watch a show to have these kinds of conversations with me bc they fuckin Know if i've seen it, i've already made a playlist about it and watched 2039482039 interviews and followed all the actors and have many feelings about it lmao.... i love being a fangirl<3
