Wenti is my main DnD character. He's a changeling druid that can't manifest a beautiful/well structured appearance, so he chooses to manifest a simple mask on his face instead. The mask is part of his face, and can convey simple emotions. This wasn't always what he looked like tho. More info next post :3

um im having some thoughts/opinions about both characters in ylm which is;

i feel like it’s always the man who can neglect their partner bc of their ex (and i could care less if she was polite or not you’re an ex for a reason know your place. women are not stupid) and then proceeded to think they can be forgiven but the moment the woman turns around and does the same she’s desperate or wants attention? i mean if jk can’t prioritize his wife over his ex (again that’s so fucked up like they’re both in the wrong here. he doesn’t even have feelings for his ex bc even if he did he would’ve already left that’s what a man in love would do no?) then yeah he is no „man“ he is a boy who finds it cool to have the attention of two women and bruh i would never let a man walk over me like that. i feel like yeah at some point he has „love“ (lmao) for her but only to get his way which is cliché for every man’s mistakes so i don’t trust him at all. he has a responsibility and so does his ex yes it’s mainly jk‘s fault bc he is the one who’s married but you can’t tell me that his ex is „polite“ and never once thought „yknow what why does he stay so late when he has a wife isn’t this disrespectful he’s married etc etc“ also please even if he told her lies we‘re talking about a woman here we‘re not that stupid to place two and two together.

hmm i feel like she’s naive and not brave but i mean what can you expect from a person who gives their all and wants the outcome to be positive so bad by trying multiple times? been there done that. so i feel like she gets manipulated easily which means she is easy (sorry not sorry if jk came home to me and thought he could sleep next to me or with me after showing up late for the past two weeks girl i would’ve been at my moms house not coming back till him and his ex apologized to my face while my whole family would be in the room (would like to see the humiliation on both of their faces)) it’s like she’s too dependent on him. it’s also the little hints you gave us away with „i pretend that i don’t care about the public’s opinion but i do“ n what not so i feel like she was never truly happy or comfortable in their relationship to express her true feelings to her partner without fearing what they would say/do and that’s enough for me to know that he never truly made an effort it was always her. i also feel like age has nothing to do with their relationship i mean you can be very wise from a very young age doesn’t mean you have to be 30 for it because most of these grown ups like jk don’t even know what it takes to be a man he’s the childish one to be honest.

I truly believe that he is probably one of the best characters he is just so complicated and there are so many layers to him. I really like his character besides the obvious Kinslaying and war crimes but truly, it is apart of his character. I just think that he is unintentionally witty and funny and very calculated. I’m assuming he does love Aegon but holds some type of obvious grudge against him because of how he’s been treated by him. As we can see with what’s happening now in the show that he really just honestly needs someone for him.. like I don’t know if we will see him with Slyvi again. Ewan Mitchell plays him in a way where it’s kind of hard to dislike the character.. like he put so much thought into him.. EWAN MITCHELL MWAHHH

Aegon:

Honestly, I will say that he is one of the funniest motherfuckers on this show even though he’s done the shittiest things here and there, but he is actively one of the funniest characters. He’s complicated and literally just wants to be held by his mother. He’s trying his damn hardest!!!!!  I believe that obviously being thrust into the position of king obviously isn’t easy to deal with so I can understand why he wasn’t happy about it. He’s also complicated character as are majority of them in the show. Tom Glynn Carney, MWAH MWAH CHEFS KISS!!!

Daemon:

OK actually hear me out because if I were in House of the Dragon, as in like my own OC, I would 100% be joking and having banter with him. I genuinely do not dislike his character, besides the obvious with rhaenyra. this little motherfuckers funny I don’t care what anyone has to say. Like right now what’s going on is that I think he might try to somehow get over on Rhaenyra for her claim I don’t know that’s just my opinion it’s what it sounds like!!!! I am hoping NOT .. but Matt Smith.. the man that you ARE!!!

I absolutely love Heleana,I think that she has so much potential. She’s really trying to do is be there for her child now and I believe she wants to be for Aegon. I really liked when she asked aemond if this was worth it. Like, was it truly worth it for you to almost kill your brother? I feel like she’s truly going to show herself more in these last three episodes. she has so much knowledge with bugs and such like you’re so cute…Phia Saban… I LOVE U SWEET GIRL!!

Hey sweets!! 🥰 I'm so glad you liked it, writing it honestly made me so happy because her relationship with Matz is just the sweetest! Hima didn't even teach any of them how to use the hearing aid but the older members learned by watching just in case she ever needed help, then they taught the rest of the group so that they'd be able to assist as well.

I actually love that song for them so much! The fact that it's basically talking about how the other person is their healing, their missing piece, plus the entire feeling of the track is so calm but emotional at the same time! 🥹

Now to your question; The group members met her parents at the same time and they welcomed all of them like sons the moment they walked into the house, but being introduced to Mingi as their precious child's boyfriend was slightly more tense. They've always been very protective over her since she's their only daughter and made a point to let him know that should anything happen between them, they would know exactly where to find him. He reassured them that he would protect her like she was the most delicate thing in the world and has kept that promise ever since. They've also all had dinner together several times and they trust him wholeheartedly after seeing what a good person he is.

Meeting the brothers was much more stressful for the members since both of them are famous in their respective fields - with Yoongi being a member of BTS and Hanzo being a player for the PSG - but they did their best to make them feel welcome. (They also had no idea that Yoongi is her older brother since she never outwardly stated it so seeing him in person was a huge shock). The two were still seniors to the group but are actually on close terms with the members now, especially Hanzo since he had more time to get to know all of them. When Mingi and Himari started dating, they were the first to know and took a more protective approach to the situation since both raised her more than their parents, but came to the same conclusion that he is the perfect person for her; caring, kind, loving, etc.

The group was not exactly prepared to meet her biological parents since even though they knew she was adopted, they didn't know they it was because the accident had killed them. During their first trip to Japan she took them to the cemetery where they were buried, then she explained everything and reassured them that it was alright, that she had her time to grieve years ago. To this day they still come to pay their respect, some of them even going alone at times in order to pray for her health.

There were so many moments that made them proud of their maknae, such as their debut, the first 'Break The Wall' concert, her ambassadorship, the release of LXST (the final track is coming), etc. The most recent one though has to be her fashion debut through Versace with the Ephemeral Collection because it was a historical event for both industries, and their little princess was standing on a different type of stage by herself, presenting pieces that she spent so much time creating. It was not only their fans that were watching but the entire audience brought by Milan Fashion Week, even high end designers complimented her work. The only members who attended the show were San - who was there for Dolce & Gabbana - and Mingi, so Donatella arranged a live broadcast for the rest of the group which they watched together. Most of them ended up crying at her final bow because she had the brightest smile on her face.

told you i had a darly sixth sense! read the chapter and scanned the asks so i have a couple of thoughts!

first of all ylm jk you frustrate me so!!! he so effortlessly shows how much he loves oc and how attentive he is and can be, so i'm sure he's realized that she's not so fulfilled nowadays with how their relationship is going but he's just choosing to ignore it for now. my brother in christ grow a pair!! love's starting to not be enough!! and you've got a baddie at your side who's slowly but surely growing tired......

i know we barely know our mc so i guess opinions on her might be a bit mixed rn but i'm definitely on her defending squad and i didn't appreciate that some of you weren't putting respect on her name.... like yeah we all see how privileged she is and that "she knew what she was getting into" but that's the point, he clearly once knew how to handle everything but now he is not as careful with striking a work-life balance and she is entitled to be upset about this relationship becoming something she did not sign up for, he set expectations up and i don't think we can blame her for being disappointed (oooh darly isn't it fun how your work generates discourse!)

i just had a silly little thought/an au for this story that since yk pregnancy/motherhood is a topic here and this last chapter was so focused on how easy it is for oc to be with yumi so maybe they separate but she's pregnant (obviously in this scenario both of them are in agreement in terms of keeping the baby no matter the circumstances)..... it'd be so interesting to see how they would navigate their separation, since it would be a kind of death occurring at the same time as a birth. i don't know, just something that came across my mind!

i think all that's left are some questions i have! i'm sure you've said it before but i just can't remember: will they only be separating or actually going through with a divorce? aaaand two parts??? we're in for a ride! will it be pre and post separation or is it still all going down in part one? (maybe you can't answer any of these and that's totally fine!)

anyways, my heart becomes achey with these two no matter how sweet some parts may be so i think we'd all do good with ego season next, if that floats your boat (as always, no pressure at all, managing one story is already hard, your pace deserves our respect and whatever you prefer to work our appreciation)

I feel like there was something in the past between lwh!oc and jk that made him make a decision to just be friends and not lovers. Maybe a drunken confession from lwh!oc that loving him makes her miserable because he doesn't reciprocate her feelings, or an argument when they were still children where words that none of them mean were said. Because it's clear as day that he loves her. (1)

That he's not just in love with her, he's not just a friend - he would put his life on the line for her, even if he acts like an asshole sometimes. But I think there might be a reasoning for that - fear. That she'll find somebody and leave, so he was trying to tie her down to him by making her stay with Nabi. She loves her and she won't have time for dating if she's the one constantly with her. Win-win. Selfish, and yet. (2)

I just.. ah, I can't wait to see how it'll turn out in the end - the thought of chapter 17 breaks my heart a little because I know that we're going to suffer. But I think that we're going to love the ending either way - will it be the happy family together, or them growing apart but living their lives - just because of the way you tell us this story.
