Someone further down mentioned “maybe multiple someones who didn’t want him”, and honestly I think that might be it. I read the lyrics that are available and listened to what I could stand of the new ones, and they sound like they’re about more than one person. Obviously Jules is the toxic situationship, but there’s supposedly one who was a friend he was in love with but never involved with, one where a relationship faded out, and one he was with but claims he couldn’t let himself believe loved him back.

I also think some of them might just be fictional, not just that pirate garbage. There are so many direct ripoffs of books, and movies, and you could make arguments for some of his own characters, that it’s like he wants to believe he’s them. Kevin mentioned on his social media that he wrote most of that Beloved mess with Ben’s help. I don’t know if that makes it worse that more than one person is writing this crap, but he insinuated it was partially about someone who died so I’ll leave that alone. But that new song he’s singing with the blonde girl is an almost direct rewrite of I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt.

It’s like he’s moved past all sense of the escapism being so important that he harps on, and into everything he consumes, including the roles he plays, being some kind of self-insert life he can dream he’s had. It’s why he’s so desperate for the rom-com. Partly marketing and a dead career, but he wants to live vicariously through the character winning the girl and being in love and happy. He’s more delusional than his fans are, and possibly even more pathetic than his haters [deserved] already thought.

Like I do understand a writing room but ye know like during a TV show not an album lol OH! and the rip offs xd obviously like there gotta be a song inspired by when harry met sally too and HP meta hidden message

I am DONE with Landen.  DONE. I want to see what Lily has to say but I am TIRED of being out of the majority for all these votes and you know what??? Kevin asked if I wanted to flip to Landen because he SENSED this kind of thing was going on and I just couldn't believe that he would do it when HIS NAME IS FUCKING ON THE LINE.  WHY DO THIS? WHY?? I'm just sick.  I'm done being used, and now he is going to go and tell Chips everything I told he and Lily in private and I am just DONE. IF I HAD NOT PROMISED JULES SAFETY I WOULD HAVE VOTED WITH THEM!!  ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS CLUE ME IN.  I am so done.  I don't know how Kevin and I are the liars here, I really don't.

Me aligning with the other two people that were on the wrong side of the vote??? YES PLEASE.   I am so...  shook.  By whatever the heck Landen just pulled off.  I still don't understand it.  He said that he almost told me but that I promised Jules that I wouldn't vote for her so he wasn't going to tell me.   The way he described it was insane, he is going to mess around and win this entire game if he doesn't go home soon.  If CBS doesn't cast Landen for a legit season one day...   ANYWAY, I think Juls and Kevin are going to make an alliance chat for the three of us.  I told Kevin before heading to bed that I would put all my money on him or Juls if that helped one of them win immunity, which might cause me to go home this round but it would be really cute if we did somehow manage to get someone else to vote with us and us figure out SOMEONE to get out.   I can't believe there are eight people left and four of them are OG Hufflepuff.

This gosh darn game. Really just so happy to be here at final 8 and can't believe 1/2 of those left are people I started this game with on Hufflepuff (rip Max <3). I genuinely hope one of us wins because I've never seen this happen before (not that I've really played that many games) but point still stands. Last nights vote went as I had hoped, Jules went home. I have the least amount of strategic rapport with her so it felt like the best move for me at the time. But I'm really again not super happy with how it went down. I didn't tell Kevin or Ruthie that I wanted to vote Jules. I was just nervous. I was pretty happy with any outcome that got someone out that wasn't OG HP; Jules, Joanna, Autumn,  Chips, Juls because ultimately I really do hope that hufflepuff does the incredible here and becomes final 4. BUT. I did feel solid about the alliance between Joanna, Autumn, Chips, Landen, and myself mostly because I still do trust Landen the most and I thought they were all honest it wanting to vote Jules out. Its really hard to tell with Joanna though, really an icon move honestly. What I do know is that this next vote is gonna be insane (as literally...every tribal in this game has been). Will there be another case of rocks? Time will tell. And I'd say now more than ever, immunity is going to be essential. 

After a crazy round last time, I got what I wanted by pushing the elimination of Jules. Jules is somebody who I liked a lot on a personal level, and was excited to get to know, but as the game progressed, it became clear that Jules, Juls, and Kevin, were never going to see me as a priority in the game at all, and would continue to use their alliance to their own advantage and keep me on the bottom, with each round getting harder and harder for myself and Lily to survive. Sure, Autumn and Chips had targeted me before, but working against them wasn't going to do anything - the others were never going to turn on them. But by exposing the way Kevin and Jules had been protecting me, Lily, and Ruthie, I could create a real systematic change in the way the game worked, even if it required working with the head honchos of the Lily vote. That is the sad truth that sometimes you just have to work with the enemy and that  was one of those times and it will continue to be one of those times! The round was very intense, first because everyone was ignoring me, and then because Chips leaked lots of information which resulted in a very hard round because I couldn't tell if Chips was trying to flip or not. Autumn was able to calm me down and I appreciate that from her a lot. But I'm also still annoyed that Chips leaked the information in the first place, because it made a very simple vote, MUCH harder to pull off, when at first we could've blindsided them into believing that it was a simple Ruthie vote with me and Lily trying to scramble for Chips but failing, while the real vote was Jules all along. It all worked out in the end though, so I guess we'll just pretend like those scrambles didn't happen. Teehee. That brings me to this round, I've had to push so hard for what I want every single round and fight to survive, and with so many spells looking like they're still in the game.. (The Gryff and Huff idols specifically) that could get me into VERY serious trouble soon. I do feel that I have a very good strategy in surrounding myself with Autumn and Lily, however. I am hoping that Kevin and Ruthie know that going after me or Lily puts them in a horrible position, strategywise - that it makes far more sense to target Autumn or even Joanna for them (since we are giving Chips immunity, which was not my preference, but again, the strategy this round is to not push anything). Autumn having 2 pocket votes, and a connection to Juls, and me and Lily on her side right now, makes her the far more dangerous opponent, and if they do want to use an idol, that would be the person to go for. Kevin is smart, so I'm expecting that he'll recognize this, and that makes me safe from their side. Of course I'll be safe from Autumn Chips and Joanna because they'll want to target Kevin and Ruthie after the mess we've made. By creating the sides of the war, I've given myself the freedom to securely pick the side I'm on, but leave open connections to another side that won't try to kill me as they try to put the game back in their favor, and I've ensured that the people on my side, in the majority, won't really have a reason to take me out. At least - not yet. Of course once the endgame comes around there's going to be talk of threats and winning at the Final 3 swirling around EVERYWHERE, where that fake "Goats VS Threats" narrative is going to come into play. I'm hoping at that stage in the game Autumn and Lily will be focused on eachother because let's be real - the jury doesn't like me that much! Anyone with a brain could see that I'm only winning at the end if I'm against Chips and Joanna... And even then it's going to be a very close one between me and Chips. So why not take me to the end :D Autumn might try to take out me and Lily both, but Lily would hopefully be her first priority, that way I could sneak into the Finals through use of immunities, which, I'm hoping by the next round, will STOP BEING SOCIAL CHALLENGES GOD DAMNIT. I may be an emotional, paranoid wreck, but it's hard not to be when every little thing has to go perfect for you to completely restructure the merge so you're sitting in the best spot when before you were in the worst. And that's how you make a marshmallow move, baby! 

Me trying to play dumb with Lily and Landen when I am in fact... dumb, LOL. I"m just trying to come across extra clueless like I'm someone they can just tell to vote HOWEVER and hopefully Juls, Kevin and I can find a crack somewhere. I really feel like they are trying to vote Kevin out this round. But I am constantly wrong so who knows.

I am both laying low AND kissing Landen and Lily's vote.  I told them I wasn't going to be around much today and that I probably wouldn't make it to tribal... not sure if I'll get on or not for it but I'm trying to take the 'i don't care what we do, just tell me how to vote' way this round.   In a perfect world, I'm trying to work with Kevin, Juls and Kevin thinks that maybe Joanna will vote with us also.  There are eight people and there could potentially be rocks but I don't think Autumn would be down to go to rocks so...  maybe Landen or Lily will be the ones going home tonight.   I'm tired of being in the middle of it all so I'm just trying to lay low this week and do what other people tell me to.  If I feel like it is going to be me I'll scramble and just... come up with something extra.

I HATE IT HERE! ever since jules left my life means nothing... and now i may be getting some votes tonight which do i really care about? no. but if landen doesn’t go i’m literally fucked in terms with trust in him which is why i need him to GOOOOO i’m so TIRED of the majority always getting what they want so i need that twink obliterated STAT. i love him dearly but i’m bitter and out for blood so what must be done.. must be done. rocks sounding pretty sexy tonight

So I guess I figured out the challenge faster than a lot of people? You just kind of have to hope you have a good alliance then invest all your money so no one else can snake it by investing all of theirs and your alliance invests in you. Luckily I'm in a group of 5... so that was easy. I put it in random.org really hoping that my name would turn up. IT DID! The random gods looking out. Anyway, I really want to vote Kevin for this tribal. Regardless of powers of whatever since I'm immune. He never talks game with me and then "forgets" to respond to me until after tribal councils. Autumn has previously communicated to me that she is close with him. Joanna doesn't want to vote him. The alliance is teetering between him and Ruthie and even maybe Juls. I don't know that Kevin will be going this tribal, but if he doesn't it will be interesting to see where the votes fall. Autumn communicated an end game goal with me that involves him leaving this round followed by Landen next one. If, for some reason, he doesn't go that puts a major wrench into things. Hopefully I can turn up the heat and start performing well at challenges moving forward so I don't have to worry about where votes are going... but honesty at this point I don't know.

#FantasyNovember: Top 5 Favourite Fantasy Characters (a meme 😳)

lol ladies and gentlemen (and those who have yet to make up your minds), may i present my favorite emoji, the ovo. i legit have no idea what it’s called but it represents my mood so keenly

anyway YEAH @logarithmicpanda tagged me (i’m tagging you all especially @foxyrebelle but tag me back so i can read!) more than 24h ago but traffic has been horrendous of late and work has been worky so i’m just now getting to this. i won’t go with my default answers bc panda did this with books and accepting the challenge, imma do the same so in no particular order:

1. jean tannen from the gentlemen bastards sequence by scott lynch. i just really love that he’s the point man?? like that’s probably not even the right term for it but in inception, jgl is the point man of the team and like literally he makes leo’s plans work and that’s jean for me. he’s the brawn, he’s the backup, he’s the sounding wall, and the best part is he wiggles that he’s the protector and that was actually the first thing that i really loved about him bc i love those archetypes, on top of the fact that he’s fat and big and soft and HE READS and i also love that he’s technically not the main character?? it’s the whole feeling that non-main characters don’t get as much love so w/e (i went into the sequence with locke in my mind bc of gen and locke cole from ff6 but jean just won me over)

2. sophos from the queen’s thief series by megan whalen turner. i’m just gonna paste smth from tvtropes which i wholeheartedly agree with. it’s under the trope took a level in badass: “In the fourth book, Sophos doesn’t take a level in badass, he takes several. Then he rips them to pieces with his bare hands, gnaws on them, and uses them as fuel with which to fire even more badass.” which i wholeheartedly agree with. i’d always had my eye on him since the first book bc he was presented as this insignificant, reluctant (i have a really huge soft spot for reluctant characters) tag along and then LO AND BEHOLD HE’S ACTUALLY HELLA IMPORTANT and the journey that he took from book 1 to book 4 is just 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. like i would always love gen, my champion whiner, but sophos’ development–from this meek nobody to a calculating risk-taker with too much heart than he knows what to do with (and i love that he didn’t come through unscathed but he totally rose to the occasion, man!)–is just smth else entirely

3. jesper fahey from six of crows and crooked kingdom by leigh bardugo. it’s actually a toss up between him and nina zenik (whose kevin wada art is also my aesthetic goddamn) but i think i liked him more consistently throughout the books? but i never really adored him as much as i adored nina but ANYWAY YEAH HIM. i really liked that he was a character with a LOT of obvious flaws but then he keeps trying to make up for them and that makes him endearing to me? also i appreciate his choice of weapon, his brand of humor (he has some of my more loved lines), i do agree that he is attractive AND i’m totally into his ship with wylan. what do they call it, wysper? it had better be wysper. people might be wondering why my favorite character isn’t wylan but the thing is that he’s already a bit like sophos to me? and i want someone different.

4. lee scoresby from his dark materials by philip pullman. YEAH I CAN LIKE SOMEONE WITH UNQUESTIONABLE MORALS altho that may not entirely be the case with lee, actually. HENIWAY, iorek was actually my first favorite character in hdm! purely on account of the fact that he’s a talking bear BUT i fell in love with lee’s charm, his swag, his sharpness and i just love that he’s this warm-hearted old cowboy who has an airship (and the only one who does! and the story of how he started flying is also the beeest) and loves lyra and supports her and he just makes me want to be a better person. like the perfect response to not all men is “yeah, lee scoresby wouldn’t.”

5. remus lupin from harry potter by j.k. rowling. LOL true story: while i was trying to come up with this list, i was supposed to end with jonathan strange from jonathan strange and mr. norrell which i’d read ages ago but i don’t read much fantasy these days until i remembered that hp is fantasy XD anyway, legit the first thing i loved about remus was the fact that he was so Done. like he was this old guy (i thought he was old bc of his hair) who just wanted to sleep but then these meddling kids came in and then the dementors so that leaves him no choice but to get up and do all the work around here bc who else would? but then i realized that this wasn’t a guy i’d heard much about (funny story, i know there’s a guy named lupin somewhere in the hp series but remember how inattentive i am to details?) which instantly made him refreshing and interesting to me bc i felt like he was someone i could properly get to know, finally? kinda weird. but yeah, it started from there and then everything followed through; i liked that he was a competent wizard and a good teacher and the mystery behind his illness was definitely another bonus until i learned that he was a werewolf and not just any werewolf but like, the werewolf everyone’s talking about? and that was disappointing but more towards myself and how predictable i’ve become even to myself -_- a lot of my favorite characters have smth to do with wolves see :|||

special mention goes to cloud strife WHO IS MY SON and loki who is a piece of shit i’ve encountered in many forms so i didn’t want to put him up there bc of that lol

Face-Off Top 10 what male celebrities have the most beautiful/attractive face (shapes)

Yes, the list is endless in terms of biased perspective but, here are my personal top 10 who have the most unique and defined shaped face from A-B list of male celebrities. Only some of them in my opinion really worth having a crush on which I have and won’t reveal who which would defeat the purpose. The purpose: I am just speaking in terms of “Not bad looking”. 

Because, like everyone’s opinion of eye candy as well as face shape is in this case-to each is own, feel free to share below who you think who doesn't have a bad looking face shape (the choice is yours to state whether or not he is your personal fave, eye candy and I will reply what defined/unique shape those male celeb(s) have.

Here are the top 10...

1) Taaron Eggerton

Some of you out there would love to bond with this new-age James Bond from Kingsman, newcomer Taaron Eggerton. Whether he dresses in a suit or like a rapper, whatever is your ideal Taaron you can’t help but admit he’s not too bad looking with a very defined square shaped face. Some others with the same shape? A similar other, Josh Hutcherson, and his castmates: Colin Firth, Michael Caine as well. Just a few to name. 

He has a very defined square shape. I wouldn’t mind tagging along with this generations’ Cody Banks saving the world

.Or maybe getting closer to him from the opposite side?

Either way, Mission accomplished and onto the next...

2) Channing Tatum

Channing has been known for being one of the most attractive not to mention versatile actors. Who could forget his musical numbers from Magic Mike and Hail Caesar? He has a very defined conic face shape himself. No wonder all the girls go gaga for him for he has a very unique, defined shape indeed.

 We salute you Channing for remaining versatile as well as talented and look forward to the new Kingsman movie.

3) Denzel Washington

Come to think of it I haven’t met one person who didn’t like Denzel on-screen, playing a good/bad guy. No question, he’s a great actor and producer in my opinion but is questionable unique is his face shape. It is almost longer at the ame time almost rounder. Or, as I like to refer to as “Semi-long heart shaped”. Usually, this face shape is much flatter, heart-square shaped but Denzel’s is very close to being egg shaped at the same time is longer and narrower, a little bit of both. 

Other people with a semi-long face shape appearing round-long at times are: 

Chris Pine (and close to it but not as narrow, almost more egg shaped) including: 

Elijah Kelley and 

Duke Hill. Come to think of it, I do see a bit of Denzel in Elijah Kelley 

seeing they do have a similar shape. But enough about that resemblace. Looking back at Denzel you may start to notice how unique, Semi-long heart shaped his face is. Like his movies, might be one of the reasons men and women like to watch his films on more than one occasion.

Time to take a flight to the next...

4) Bradley Cooper

Personally, I always thought Bradley was a great actor since his first few Rom-Coms during the Alias era. I actually see a bit of my cousin in him. But, the more I watched his films especially in American Sniper, I found that he has very light green eyes, almost lighter blue-gray.

 But, like his face shape like his eyes are right in-between the spectrum.It’s not too long, wide or round. 

Sometimes appearing heart or more square shaped. He even has a very unique chin shape as well. 

Other people with this shape include: Harrison Ford

Mario Lopez

and Freddie Highmore. 

But even if they have the same shape, next to each other not exactly the same, to each is own shape that is.

Whatever character, versatile and continues to surprise me in whatever lighting make his shape appear longer or wider than it is.  Looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and hope he wins an Oscar in the future. 

Moving on to some more darker characters in the shadows...

5) Tom Felton:

Some like the bad boys and at one point, if an HP fan probably had at least one crush. I had a friend who did and when I say friend yes, I really mean a friend not “Friend” in a hypothetical misdirecting sense, I mean friends like one of mine sitting in the same row during a viewing of Harry Potter during a girls night out.

Tom’s appears the roundest to widest of them all I have found. No wonder some may be spellbound maybe even

 living vicariously through Hermionie, rooting for Dramionie-very unique indeed.

Come to think of it, going down the movie theatre row of all the girls I knew sitting in the theatre that day, fans of Tom Felton would’ve probably loved to have slipped him a love potion a time or two. Yes, Tom Felton’s not so bad looking has a very defined wide heart shape.

 It is almost more heart to almost narrower, longer and egg-shaped but at the same time it is much wider, almost more wide to square appearing Other examples also include:

 Devon Murray from HP also has this shape as well including: 

Asa Butterfield,

  Johnny Depp

 and Paul Walker (RIP).

So I believe I’ve conjured up enough examples for this one and onto the next.

6-8) The Lawrence Brothers: Joey; Matthew; Andrew

Who growing up couldn’t resist this triple threat variety act? 

When I was younger I always wanted to draw these three actors (Here’s my most recent, not yet finished) finding in the process that they all have a unique round-long appearing shaped face.

 I grew up watching them from Disney to older cameos/guest star appearances.

In the 90′s-2000′s they all did voice-over work/singing, dancing comedy and drama and guest starred in a bunch of shows on top of appearing in a lot of Disney movies before that. 

Not to mention, not too bad looking either. Left to right all have an in-between long-almost rounder shape. 

First, Joey’s is conic (like Bruce Willis, Chaning Tatum prev) 

Matthew’s is heart-shaped, long-round almost more egg shaped or as I like to call App. Elliptic (In this case of male, egg not oval shaped) Heart shaped. 

(Tom Cruise’s shape is close, egg appearing but not as heart shaped. Another example would be 

Kevin Zegers.

Finally, Andrew’s a combination of both, long & round egg-shaped to almost longer or “Semi-long egg-shaped. 

(Devon Werkheiser also has this shape).

Now back in the day, maybe they may not have thought they were that good looking 

but really, don’t ever change Lawrence Brothers, 

We love you just the way you are from cute to hot and obviously talented. 90′s Memory lane now closing, heading from one decade to the next...

9) Daniel Radcliffe

The same party, I went to a girls-only party once and we went to go see HP 4. Some couldn’t look away bewitched and some a bit bothered.

But, yeah, I couldn’t help but notice who liked who and that from the franchise people tend to draw Daniel younger or older with a very round shape like his character. 

Maybe they observe the roundness of the glasses and draw that in the shape Maybe? But, actually his face shape is egg-shaped, slightly longer than round but one of the most roundest appearing egg shapes I have seen yet.  

It is well-defined, almost more square on top but at the same time almost narrower and heart-shaped, in between. 

Usually, people have wider or longer shapes but Daniel’s is right in between and just as egg-shaped as a person would interpret, draw at first. Just a few extensions of the jawline and cheekbones below the piercing, staring intense expression of dark blue eyes and you’re done. 

Very unique indeed and like Harry with his scar of trademark, his shape very distinct, noticeably round appearing, The Boy who lived played by The Boy with the Egg shaped face.We’ll remember you always as Harry Potter but look forward to your new show on TBS coming soon.

Riley Smith was another great reason to watch the film over and over or, a bunch of other shows/movies he was in like: Radio, New York Minute and most recent Nashville and the revamped show of Frequency. He has a very defined long to round shape as described once before, “Semi-long heart shaped”. 

You can see almost more quadrilateral and long at times yet almost longer almost more egg shaped appearing. Didn’t have the highest views Frequency but always thought he was a pretty good actor. 

Looking forward to seeing more shows with you in the future Riley. If not, definitely consider a singing career yes-he sings and plays guitar too.

What Made You Create Your Tumblr: akljjerjwlker maybe this is personal but I have chronic depression that comes in waves and I was in a pretty bad part of it when p101 started but the show gave me something to look forward to every friday and I was also really yearning to belong somewhere and be part of a community so I took the chance and made this blog. It honestly wasn’t supposed to be a serious blog- I was just going to reblog and freak out in my tags but I got motivated by other creators so I spent a night learning how to gif and then people asked my opinion (which made me so emotional even though its such a small action because I’ve always felt really really alone) and suddenly I was participating more and actually talking to people and ijerlkewrjwelk. I’m very thankful I created this blog.

Nuzlocke #1: My Journey Begins!

Today, June 27 2017, I began my Pokémon adventure! I decided to name my character Rose, which is my middle name, since my journey will be focusing less on me and more on my Pokémon team. (I apologize for the picture quality...it’s not the best.)

I haven’t gotten enough money for new clothes yet, so she’s still wearing the original outfit haha.

(I also picked the nickname “Cool guy” because this video always makes me crack up.)

Instead of choosing a starter based on what I wanted, I rolled a 6-sided die in which 1-2 would give me Chespin, 3-4 Fennekin, and 5-6 Froakie. I ended up rolling a 4, so I picked Fennekin! His name is Dante (after “Dante’s Inferno”).

This is his current level, so he’s grown quite a bit since starting at Lv.5! He’s a big beautiful boi now.

My very first encounter was with a male Lv.3 Pidgey, and after capturing him I named him Kevin. I was so excited! Kevin would be the first new member of my team, signifying the beginning of my journey to become a master. Kevin and Dante and I were going to make so many wonderful memories...

...Unfortunately, Kevin was a bit weaker than I thought, and died swiftly after another Pidgey landed a critical hit. Not the best start to the challenge. (I was honestly so shocked, like, I kept running back to the Pokémon Center just to make sure he was at full health when going into battle, and what ends up happening? He dies.) Sometimes I wonder how incredible Kevin could’ve been, if he hadn’t met such a terrible fate. RIP Kevin, you will be missed.

Continuing into the Santalune Forest, I stumbled upon a male Lv.4 Pansage! I named him Sequoia. 

He’s a real cutie! And he finally learned a grass-type move a few levels ago, so that’s been fairly helpful.

In the area following the forest, I captured a male Lv.5 Fletchling, who I named Fawkes! (little Harry Potter reference there)

While he may be small, he does quite a bit of damage on the battlefield. 10/10 a good, healthy boi.

From there, I arrived in Santalune City, and proceeded to go back and forth from the tall grass to the conveniently-placed Poké Center in order to boost some levels. I wanted to make sure we were good and ready before facing off against the gym leader!

Before entering the gym, I roller-skated over to Route 22 to add another Poké to my posé. My first encounter was with a female Lv.7 Farfetch’d, who I named Helga!

Let me tell you...she has been a flippin’ POWERHOUSE so far (also the only girl in my party, currently). Love her to death.

After Helga learned “Arial Ace” I decided to take on the first gym! Once inside, Helga obliterated all three challengers in the gym ON HER OWN, losing less than 10 HP (that’s one Farfetch’d causing four different Pokémon to faint...she’s amazing). Once I restored her health, it was time to take on Viola.

Now here’s the best part: Helga singlehandedly took down both of Viola’s Pokémon using only “Arial Ace.” What a TANK.

Once I left the gym, I made my way toward Route 4 where I caught a male Lv.8 Ledyba, who I appropriately named Punch Bug.

He’s a bit weak, but I don’t have much of a choice at this point, so I still love him! I’m just going to have to raise his level at some point.

Finally, I battled my way through Route 4 until I reached the gate leading into Lumiose City, where I will pick up with my adventure very soon! Thanks for reading :D

Supersonica: A rapid Ducati Panigale from Jett Design

How many custom builders can squeeze the last ounce of performance out of a modern sportbike and give the aesthetics a jolt of adrenaline? Not many.

That makes Virginia-based Andrew Jett a rarity. The clue is in his fine arts/design background, coupled with a serious taste for speed. He wowed us a year ago with his custom Triumph Street Triple, and has just thrown the wraps off this brilliant custom Ducati Panigale.

The stats of the bike are impressive. Andrew has dropped the dry weight from 176 to 160 kilos (387 to 353 pounds), and bumped up the power from 157 hp to 165 at the crank. It makes an already fast bike even faster, with the speed to match its aggressive new looks.

“I’ve been intrigued by motorcycles since I was a kid,” says Andrew. “Combined with that fascination was a desire to modify bikes—with lighter weight, better handling and a more ‘focused’ experience for the rider.”

Andrew has called his bike the Ducati ‘955S��—after the engine capacity and the Superquadro motor. He bought it brand new off the showroom floor in early 2017. “It was the first Ducati I purchased, and I bought it as my personal bike. This bike has always been my personal favorite because of its intense riding experience.”

After a season of riding, it sat in the Jett Design workshop for almost two years while Andrew pondered over a redesign. “During the recent stay at home orders, I focused on getting this bike completely rebuilt. I had the time to think about what I really loved about it, and what factory design aspects I wanted to change.”

Andrew decided to go for a stripped-down lightweight machine, with more of a ‘naked’ riding experience. “I specifically wanted to delete the big factory fairings, and show everything that was deliberately covered up. It’s my personal vision of what a ‘super naked’ should be.”

The engine now breathes out through a new Werkes USA muffler, with a K&N racer filter on the intake end. The ECU has been remapped to suit by Duc Pond Motorsports, which is also Andrew’s local Ducati dealer.

The factory quick shifter is now married to a heavy-duty WSBK-style F.C.C. slipper clutch and Superlite sprockets, so Andrew can rip through the gear changes even faster than usual. The wheels are equally trick, being forged magnesium rims from Marchesini Racing.

The suspension is from the Italian race specialist Mupo, with new cartridges in the 43mm Showa forks and a new monoshock to match. Custom billet upper and lower triple trees tighten up the steering and a Bitubo fully adjustable steering damper keeps the front end planted at speed. The brakes get a boost from a new Brembo RCS 19 master cylinder.

After getting the dynamics sorted, Andrew turned his attention to the frame and bodywork. He’s ditched the all-enveloping stock fairing plastics, and crafted more compact and aggressive bodywork that reveals more of the mechanical elements.

The new front fairing now includes discreet LED lighting and is followed by a pair of ‘wings’ under the tank. The brackets holding everything together are a featherweight mix of carbon fiber and aluminum.

The back end of the frame is new, and simply acts as a support for the modified seat unit. It’s a big weight saving that doesn’t compromise rider ergonomics either, and there’s a compact LED light unit hidden under the perch.

The design is both minimal and brutal, and leagues ahead of the typical sportbike streetfighter treatment. “I knew whatever design I came up with, it had to be sleek and fit the nature of the bike,” says Andrew. “So this build has an industrial design flair, showcasing the engineering and mechanicals.”

With an all-black livery applied by ace painter Kevin Petitt of PetittBilt, the Panigale now looks like a stealth fighter ready to take off. We’re just not sure if we’ve got the cojones to ride it…
