Synopsis: In El Paso, Joseph finds his sunshine.

"I could stay with you," he blurted, the words tumbling out of his mouth before he could decide whether it was right to say them. God, what was he doing? This was crazy. He was crazy. This would be the end of any hope to be in her life. "I can cook and clean. If there's anything you need to get done, I'll do it."  When she didn’t say anything, he wanted to take everything back. Her eyes studied his face, as if she was trying to determine whether he was actually serious.  "There's only one bed," she said after a moment, sheepish. "And it's not very big."
