You turned the page of your book, the hum of some old movie playing on the TV in the bedroom. You were lying between Logan’s legs, your head resting below his chin while his hand absentmindedly twirled a strand of your hair. His other hand was draped over your stomach, fingers occasionally tapping against the fabric of your shirt like he had a thought he wasn’t quite ready to share.
“You actually readin’ that thing, or just pretendin’ to so I don’t distract you?” Logan’s voice was low, lazy, the kind of tone he only used when he was completely comfortable.
You didn’t look up from your book. “I was reading.”
“Was,” he echoed, amused. His fingers gave your hair a light tug before smoothing it down again. “So that means I am distractin’ you.”
You sighed, more dramatic than necessary, but the smile tugging at your lips gave you away. “Logan.”
“Darlin’.”
You tilted your head up, meeting his eyes. “You’re doing that thing.”
“What thing?”
“The thing where you get all smug just ‘cause I like being around you.”
Logan smirked, his fingers trailing absently along your side now. “That a bad thing?”
You sighed again, but this time, you leaned into him a little more, letting your book rest against your chest. “No.”
He chuckled, the sound rumbling against your back. “Didn’t think so.”
The movie flickered in the background, some old Western that Logan had flipped to out of habit. You doubted he was actually paying attention to it. His fingers skimmed over the hem of your shirt now, his touch slow, deliberate. He wasn’t pushing, wasn’t even making a real move—just there, lingering, testing.
“Y’know,” he murmured, brushing his knuckles along the sliver of skin just above your waistband, “I don’t mind you usin’ me as a pillow, but I gotta say, sweetheart… there are other ways to get comfortable.”
You didn’t take the bait, though your cheeks warmed at his tone. “I am comfortable.”
Logan let out a quiet hum, his fingers tracing the same path over your stomach. “Could be more comfortable.”
You swallowed, shifting slightly in his hold. “Logan.”
He leaned down, his lips ghosting over the side of your neck. “Just sayin’.”
You exhaled, turning the page of your book even though you hadn’t actually processed a single word. “You’re impossible.”
“Nah,” he murmured against your skin. “Just persistent.”
You bit the inside of your cheek, determined not to let him rattle you—at least, not too much. He wasn’t wrong, though. Over the past couple of weeks, Logan had been dropping hints, pushing just enough to see how you’d react. It wasn’t anything overt—no pressure, no expectation. Just a lingering touch here, a teasing remark there, the occasional kiss that lasted a second longer than it needed to.
He was patient, but he wasn’t subtle.
“You’re thinkin’ real hard about somethin’,” Logan murmured, his breath warm against your jaw.
You cleared your throat, keeping your eyes trained on your book. “Just… taking in the plot.”
“Uh-huh.” He didn’t sound convinced. His hand slid just a little higher, resting against your ribs now. “That book’s been on the same page for the last ten minutes.”
You sighed. “Maybe I just like this page.”
Logan huffed a quiet laugh, his lips brushing against your temple. “Yeah? What’s it about?”
You hesitated, then groaned, dropping the book onto your lap. “Fine. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention.”
He smirked, clearly pleased with himself. “That so?”
You turned your head just enough to meet his gaze. “You love being a distraction, don’t you?”
Logan shrugged, unbothered. “If it gets you lookin’ at me instead of that book? Yeah, sweetheart. I do.”
You rolled your eyes, but before you could fire back with something witty, Logan’s hand slipped beneath your sweater, resting warm and steady against your skin. The touch wasn’t rushed or demanding—just there, grounding, like he was waiting to see if you’d pull away.
You didn’t.
Logan took that as an invitation to tilt your chin up, pressing a slow, lingering kiss against your lips. He wasn’t pushing for more, but he wasn’t holding back, either. His fingers splayed against your stomach, his thumb brushing lazy circles over your skin.
By the time he pulled back, his smirk had softened into something quieter, something more certain. “See? Much better than readin’.”
You huffed a laugh, shaking your head. “You’re incorrigible.”
Logan grinned. “Yeah, but you’re still sittin’ here, ain’tcha?”
You opened your mouth to argue, but nothing came to mind. Because he was right.
And, more than that, you didn’t want to be anywhere else.
---
The sound of chalk against the board was somewhat soothing—it usually meant just you and equations. But it wasn’t as soothing today since Logan was leaning against your desk watching you as you wrote across the board preparing for class.
He’d been there for the past ten minutes, saying nothing, just watching, arms crossed, that infuriating smirk lingering on his face. You’d done your best to ignore him, focusing on writing out the equation, but every time you glanced over, he was still there. Still watching.
Finally, you sighed, setting the chalk down with a small clink. “Are you just gonna stand there, or are you actually here for something?”
Logan’s smirk deepened. “Dunno. Kinda enjoyin’ the view.”
You rolled your eyes, but your face warmed at the way his voice dipped just slightly, lazy and deliberate. You turned back to the board, trying to ignore the way his presence was making it difficult to focus. “Well, unless you suddenly got real interested in quantum mechanics, you’re gonna get bored pretty quick.”
“Nah,” he said, the sound of his boots scuffing against the floor as he shifted. “You’re way more interestin’ than whatever the hell’s on that board.”
You hesitated just briefly before picking the chalk back up, your grip tightening slightly. “Logan.”
“Y/N.” He mimicked your tone perfectly, and you could hear the smirk in his voice.
You turned to glare at him, but it was a mistake—because the second you looked at him, you were trapped. His eyes weren’t just amused; they were sharp, knowing, like he could see right through you. And he could, you realized with an exasperated huff.
“You’re distracting me,” you muttered, looking back at the board.
“Yeah?” Logan pushed off your desk, moving closer until he was standing right behind you. “Guess that makes us even, darlin’.”
Your breath hitched as his voice dropped, the warmth of him settling against your back even though he wasn’t touching you. It would be so easy for him to close the distance, to brush his hand against your waist, to tease you just a little further. But he didn’t. He just stood there, letting the silence stretch, making sure you felt him there.
Your grip on the chalk faltered, a small break appearing in the line of your equation.
Logan chuckled. “You sure you ain’t gettin’ distracted, sweetheart?”
You turned sharply, ready to snap at him, but the second you did, his hand lifted, fingers brushing a stray piece of chalk dust off your cheek. The touch was barely there, but it was enough to make your pulse stutter. His hand lingered for just a second longer than necessary before he let it drop.
“That’s better,” he murmured.
You swallowed, blinking up at him. His smirk had softened, something quieter settling in the way he looked at you. That look always got you—it was dangerous. It made you feel like you were the only person in the world who mattered to him. And maybe, in some ways, you were.
“You’re impossible,” you muttered, pushing past him to grab your notes.
Logan didn’t stop you, but as you moved, he caught your wrist, his grip gentle but firm. “Hey.”
You hesitated, looking up at him again.
“Dinner later?” His thumb brushed against your wrist, barely there.
You nodded. “Yeah.”
Logan’s smirk returned, but it wasn’t cocky—it was satisfied. “Good.”
And then he leaned down, his fingers holding your chin gently as he kissed your forehead, the tip of your nose, and then finally your lips.
His lips pressed against yours, slow and deliberate, and you felt the familiar warmth pool low in your stomach. Logan wasn’t in a rush—he never was when he kissed you. He liked to take his time, to savor, to leave you breathless in a way that made your head spin long after he pulled away. His fingers curled under your chin, keeping you close, his thumb tracing a slow line along your jaw.
His tongue flicked over your bottom lip, a slow, deliberate swipe before he pulled back just enough to meet your gaze. His smirk was lazy, self-satisfied, and entirely too smug.
“Cherry,” he muttered, his voice low, rough.
“You’re obsessed,” you said, trying to sound unimpressed even as your fingers curled into the front of his shirt.
Logan huffed out a quiet laugh, his hands slipping lower, resting heavy on your hips. “Ain’t my fault you keep wearin’ it.” His thumbs brushed against your sides, slow, absent-minded. “Like you want me to notice.”
You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the heat creeping up your neck. “It’s just lip gloss, Logan.”
Sure,” he drawled, clearly unconvinced. “Just lip gloss.” His grip on your hips tightened just a fraction. “You always wear this flavor, or is it just ‘round me?”
You opened your mouth, ready to argue, but the way he was looking at you made your brain short-circuit. His expression wasn’t just teasing anymore—there was something deeper behind his eyes, something unreadable but intense. It sent a shiver down your spine.
He leaned in again, not quite kissing you, just letting his lips hover near yours, close enough that you could feel the heat of his breath. “Go on,” he murmured, voice dropping even lower. “Tell me it ain’t for me.”
You swallowed hard, your pulse hammering in your throat. You weren’t sure what was more frustrating—the way he always managed to fluster you so easily, or the fact that he knew exactly what he was doing.
“I—” You hesitated, and Logan caught it immediately. His smirk widened, and you wanted to wipe it off his face, but your brain was too fogged up with the scent of him, the way his hands were resting so firmly on your hips, like he had no plans of letting go anytime soon.
“Thought so,” he muttered, finally pressing his lips to yours again.
This kiss was slower, more deliberate, his mouth moving against yours like he had all the time in the world. His fingers curled slightly, gripping the fabric of your sweater as he pulled you in closer. You felt the scrape of his stubble against your skin, the way he tilted his head just right, deepening it just enough to make you forget that you were still standing in the middle of your classroom.
When he pulled back, you were breathless, gripping onto his shirt like it was the only thing keeping you upright. Logan, of course, looked perfectly fine, his smirk still in place, though his breathing was a little heavier than before.
“Now, what were you sayin’ about this bein’ ‘just lip gloss’?”
You groaned, shoving lightly at his chest. “Logan.”
He caught your wrist before you could push him away completely, pressing a quick kiss to the inside of it before finally letting you go. “Alright, alright,” he said, still grinning. “I’ll stop—” He paused, then added, “—for now.”
You exhaled sharply, stepping back to put some space between you. “You’re impossible.”
Logan just chuckled, watching you with that same damn amused expression, like he was enjoying every second of this. And the worst part? He absolutely was.
You turned away quickly, trying to regain your composure, but you could still feel the heat of his hands on your skin, the ghost of his lips on yours.
“You still good for dinner later?” he asked, casually like he hadn’t just spent the last five minutes making you forget how to think.
You cleared your throat, adjusting your glasses as you grabbed your notes. “Yeah,” you muttered. “I’ll be there.”
“Good.” His voice was warm, satisfied. “See you then, sweetheart.”
And with that, he strolled out of the room like nothing had happened, leaving you standing there, lips tingling, heart racing, and entirely too aware of the fact that you were already counting down the hours until you saw him again.
---
The mansion was abnormally quiet. Most of the students were out for the weekend—some of the older students were looking after the younger ones—and the team was out doing a simple recon mission.
“One and a half cups of flour,” you muttered, leveling off the measuring cup before dumping it into the mixing bowl. The kitchen was unusually quiet, save for the occasional hum of the fridge and the rhythmic clink of your spoon against the bowl as you stirred.
“You talk to yourself when you bake?” Logan’s voice came from the doorway, rough with amusement.
You glanced up, pushing your glasses higher up your nose. “It helps me focus,” you said, reaching for the sugar. “And keeps me from messing up the measurements.”
Logan stepped inside, hands tucked into his jeans as he leaned against the counter, watching you. “Didn’t think you ever messed up.”
You huffed a small laugh. “Everyone messes up.”
“Not you,” he said, smirking. “Not when it comes to stuff like this.”
You shook your head, trying to hide the warmth creeping up your neck as you added sugar to the bowl. “Flattery isn’t going to get you cookies any faster.”
Logan just grinned. “Worth a shot.”
He stayed where he was, not offering to help, not interfering, just watching. He always did this—hovering without making it obvious, keeping you in his line of sight like it was second nature. You’d gotten used to it over the past few months, the way he lingered when you were focused on something, content just being there.
His presence was steady, familiar, something you had unconsciously grown comfortable with.
You reached for the blueberries, tossing a handful into the batter before mixing again. “You’re staring.”
Logan shrugged, smirk never fading. “You’re nice to look at.”
Your grip tightened on the spoon. “Logan.”
“What?” He tilted his head, completely unbothered. “I’m just statin’ facts, sweetheart. ‘Specially when you’re wearin’ this.” Logan tugged on the open placket of his flannel, the fabric loose over your frame.
You huffed, turning back to the mixing bowl. “It was just sitting on the chair. I didn’t think you’d mind.”
Logan’s fingers skimmed the hem, playing with the edge. “Didn’t say I minded.” His voice dipped lower, rougher. “Just sayin’ it looks real good on you.”
Your hands faltered slightly as you stirred the batter, but you kept your focus on the task at hand. “You’re just trying to distract me so I mess up these cookies.”
“Me?” He smirked, shifting closer, one hip against the counter now. “I’d never do such a thing.”
You shot him a pointed look. “You do it all the time.”
Logan let out a low chuckle, reaching over to steal a blueberry from the container beside you. “Alright, maybe I do. But it ain’t my fault you’re easy to rile up.”
You swatted at his hand before he could grab another berry. “You’re the worst.”
“Yeah?” He popped the blueberry into his mouth, chewing slowly. “And yet, here you are, wearin’ my shirt, makin’ me cookies.”
“I’m not making you cookies,” you said, stirring the batter. “These are the blueberries from Ororo’s garden. She wanted me to make cookies with them.”
Logan made a low sound in the back of his throat, arms still folded as he leaned against the counter. “That right?”
“Yeah.” You scooped another handful of blueberries into the bowl, mixing them in. “So, if you want cookies, you’ll have to take it up with her.”
He smirked. “Think she’d let me have one?”
“Maybe.” You flicked your gaze toward him, pretending to consider it. “If you ask nicely.”
Logan snorted, pushing off the counter to move closer. “You ever known me to ask nicely for anything?”
You gave him a look, reaching for the baking sheet. “Exactly.”
His smirk widened. “So that means I gotta find another way to get one.”
“You could just wait like everyone else,” you pointed out, dropping spoonfuls of batter onto the tray.
“Could.” Logan took another step forward, his fingers brushing against the hem of the flannel you were still wearing. “Or I could keep distractin’ you till you cave.”
You rolled your eyes, ignoring the way your heart picked up just from him being this close. “You’re not as persuasive as you think.”
He hummed, standing directly behind you now, his chest barely a breath away from your back. “That so?”
You swallowed, focusing intently on the cookies. “Yes.”
Logan leaned in just a little, his breath warm against your ear. “Don’t seem so sure, sweetheart.”
Your hands froze for half a second before you forced yourself to keep scooping batter. “I don’t give in that easily.”
“Mm.” His hands skimmed along the counter on either side of you, not touching, just there. “Good thing I like a challenge.”
You exhaled, willing yourself to focus. “The cookies go in the oven in five minutes. Think you can survive that long?”
Logan chuckled, low and deep. “Guess we’ll see.”
His hands finally lifted from the counter, and he stepped back, giving you space again—but not before trailing a slow fingertip down your arm on the way. It was barely anything, just a whisper of a touch, but it left a warm, lingering imprint on your skin.
You shook your head, ignoring the way your cheeks felt hot. “You’re the worst.”
He smirked. “You keep sayin’ that, and yet—” He tugged lightly on the sleeve of the flannel you were still wearing. “Still wearin’ my shirt. Still makin’ cookies.”
You sighed, finally turning to face him fully. “They’re Ororo’s cookies.”
Logan crossed his arms, amused. “Uh-huh.”
Your eyes narrowed slightly. “You really think everything I do is for you, don’t you?”
He grinned. “No. But I like knowin’ when it is.”
You groaned, turning back to the tray before he could see how much that stupid smirk was affecting you. “You are impossible.”
Logan just chuckled, watching as you slid the tray into the oven. “I’ll take that as a ‘yes, Logan, you can have a cookie when they’re done.’”
You shut the oven and sighed. “Fine. One.”
His smirk deepened. “Thought you didn’t give in that easily?”
You turned, poking a finger at his chest. “You’re pushing it.”
Logan caught your hand before you could pull it back, his fingers warm as they curled lightly around yours. He didn’t say anything at first, just held your hand, his thumb grazing over your knuckles in slow, easy circles.
Your breath caught, and for a moment, neither of you moved. The playful air between you had shifted, just slightly, into something quieter, something that made your heart beat a little harder.
“Y’know,” Logan murmured, his voice lower now, “I don’t just stick around for the cookies.”
You swallowed, your fingers twitching against his. “I know.”
Logan studied you for a long moment, then, with a small smirk, lifted your hand to his lips and pressed a slow, deliberate kiss to your knuckles. The warmth of it sent a shiver up your spine.
Your breath wavered, and Logan didn’t miss it. His smirk softened, his eyes flicking up to yours. “I’ll be patient, sweetheart,” he murmured, squeezing your hand once before letting go.
Your stomach flipped, but before you could even think of a response, he turned and strolled toward the door. “I’ll be back when the cookies are done.”
And then he was gone, leaving you standing there with your heart pounding and your hand still tingling from where his lips had been.
You took a slow, steadying breath, staring at the closed door for a long moment.
You were in trouble.
---
The night was like any other night. The TV was playing in the room, another old movie Logan had put on, while you read a book—1st to Die by James Patterson.
Your head was resting against his shoulder, while one of his hands absentmindedly stroked your thigh. His touch was steady, casual, like it had been for months now, but you could feel something else beneath it tonight. A quiet kind of intent.
Logan wasn’t subtle. Not really. He liked to pretend he was, but you had known him long enough to pick up on his patterns. The way his fingers traced absent shapes against your skin, his thumb brushing along the inside of your knee before trailing back down. Slow. Measured. Like he was waiting for you to notice.
You turned the page in your book, trying to ignore the way your heart had started to beat just a little faster.
“Y’like that one?” Logan’s voice was quiet, rough in the way it always was. His thumb dragged up again, stopping just beneath the hem of your shorts.
You nodded. “Yeah. It’s good.”
Logan hummed, shifting slightly so he could glance down at you. “Ain’t my usual, but I might give it a shot.”
Your lips twitched. “You barely read anything that isn’t a newspaper.”
Logan smirked. “Fair.” His fingers brushed higher this time, not quite pushing but not retreating either. “But if you like it, I figure it’s worth a look.”
You swallowed, trying to focus on the words in front of you, but they were blurring now, replaced by the warmth of his palm against your thigh, the way his hand lingered, waiting.
After a long moment, you set the book down on your lap and turned slightly, looking up at him. Logan watched you, something unreadable flickering behind his gaze.
His other hand lifted, fingers ghosting along your jaw before his thumb traced over your bottom lip, slow and deliberate.
Your breath caught. He didn’t move closer, didn’t push. He just waited.
It had always been this way with him. The teasing, the lingering touches, the quiet intensity that made your pulse stutter. He never rushed. He was never impatient with you.
But he wanted you to be the one to move first.
You hesitated only for a moment before tilting your chin up, closing the space between you.
The second your lips met his, Logan exhaled sharply through his nose, fingers tightening on your thigh. He kissed you slow at first, steady, like he had all the time in the world. But when he started to pull back, you chased him, your fingers curling into the front of his shirt to keep him close.
That was all it took.
Logan made a quiet sound in the back of his throat before he kissed you deeper, his hand sliding to the small of your back as he shifted, guiding you gently until you were beneath him, your back pressed against the mattress.
He hovered there for a moment, his weight braced on his forearms as he studied you, thumb brushing over your cheek.
“You sure?” Logan’s voice was quieter now, rougher.
You nodded, your fingers sliding up into his hair. “Yeah.”
Logan exhaled slowly, something easing in his expression before he dipped his head again, kissing you softer this time.
He grabbed your book and placed it on the bedside table without looking, without even breaking the kiss. His lips were slow, deliberate, savoring the way you yielded beneath him, the way your fingers twisted in the fabric of his shirt, pulling him closer.
His hand slid lower, over the soft fabric of his flannel that still draped over your frame, fingertips tracing the hem where it met your thigh. He pulled back just enough to look at you, smirking at the dazed look in your eyes. “Y’know,” he murmured, his fingers slipping under the fabric, brushing against your bare skin, “I like seein’ you in my clothes.”
You swallowed, trying to steady your breathing. “You’ve mentioned that before.”
“Yeah?” Logan tilted his head, his smirk deepening as his fingers trailed higher. “Think I might’ve understated it.”
You rolled your eyes, but the effect was ruined when he leaned in again, his mouth brushing along your jaw, then lower, dragging slow kisses down the column of your throat. His hands moved with him, one slipping around to the small of your back, the other pushing the flannel further up your thighs.
Your fingers found the hem of his shirt, tugging lightly. Logan hummed against your skin, then leaned back just enough to grab the collar of his tee, yanking it over his head in one smooth motion. The sight of him—bare-chested, golden skin catching the low light—made your breath hitch.
Logan chuckled, catching the way your gaze drifted over him. “Like what you see, sweetheart?”
You huffed, feigning exasperation, but your fingers betrayed you as they splayed over his chest, tracing the hard planes of muscle. “You’re cocky.”
His smirk widened. “Damn right.” He ducked down again, capturing your lips in another slow kiss, his body settling closer against yours. The warmth of him seeped into your skin, his weight grounding you as his hands continued their exploration, one drifting beneath the fabric of your—his—flannel, the other cupping the back of your neck.
His lips left yours only to find the sensitive skin beneath your ear, teeth scraping lightly before he soothed it with his tongue. “M’gonna take my time with you,” he murmured, his voice rough, his fingers skimming beneath the hem of your sleep shorts. “Gotta get you ready for me.”
Your breath hitched at that, and despite the heat pooling in your stomach, you still managed to murmur, “so cocky.”
Logan let out a quiet chuckle, nipping at your jaw before pulling back just enough to look you in the eyes. “That a complaint?”
You held his gaze for a long moment, then shook your head. “No.”
His smirk softened slightly, something warmer flickering in his eyes. He kissed you again, slower this time, more measured, before his hands resumed their path downward. The flannel slid off your shoulders, and Logan eased it down your arms, letting it pool around you before shifting his focus to your shorts.
His fingers traced the waistband, giving you the opportunity to stop him, to hesitate—but you didn’t. Instead, you lifted your hips just enough for him to slip them down, the fabric dragging along your legs before being tossed aside.
His hands traced back up, following the path they’d just taken, but this time there was nothing between you. His palms splayed over your thighs, fingers pressing in just enough to make you squirm before they trailed inward, brushing against the heat of you.
Logan exhaled sharply, his forehead resting against yours for a brief moment before he kissed you again, deeper this time. One hand stayed anchored against your hip while the other moved between your thighs, fingers teasing, exploring, until they found the slick warmth waiting for him.
His lips curved against yours. “So fuckin’ soft,” he murmured, tracing slow circles that made you gasp, your fingers gripping his shoulders. “And already so wet for me.”
Your breath stuttered, nails digging into his skin as his fingers worked you open, slow and careful, coaxing soft sounds from your lips that only made his own breath turn heavier.
“You always this sweet for me, darlin’?” he murmured, his lips brushing against your cheek, your jaw, your throat. “Or is this just ‘cause you’ve been waitin’ on me?”
Logan’s fingers curled just right inside you, pressing against that spot that made your breath stutter, your thighs twitching where they pressed against his hips. His smirk was small but unmistakable, lips brushing against your cheek as his fingers worked you open, slow and deliberate.
“You’re real sensitive, sweetheart,” he murmured, voice rough with something darker, something restrained. His thumb dragged lazy circles over your clit, and you whimpered, your grip on his shoulders tightening. He chuckled, breath warm against your skin. “Damn shame I didn’t do this sooner.”
You couldn’t answer—not with the way he was touching you, not with the heat pooling in your stomach, threatening to snap. Your head tipped back against the pillows, glasses askew, lips parted around soft, breathy sounds that you couldn’t hold back. Logan didn’t stop them. If anything, he worked for them, coaxing every little gasp from your lips like he had all the time in the world.
“That’s it,” he muttered, pressing slow kisses down your jaw, along the line of your throat. His fingers pumped into you steadily, stretching, teasing, dragging that pleasure higher. “Y’been waitin’ on this, haven’t you?”
“Logan—”
His thumb pressed a little firmer against your clit, and your words broke into a moan, your back arching into him. Logan groaned, deep and low, his mouth finding the hollow of your throat as he kept his rhythm.
“Christ, you sound good,” he muttered. “So fuckin’ sweet.”
You could feel yourself getting close, the pleasure building, sharp and electric, curling tight in your stomach. Logan felt it too—the way your thighs trembled, the way your breath hitched between each desperate sound.
“C’mon, darlin’,” he murmured, lips brushing your ear, fingers relentless. “Let me feel it.”
And you did—your body tensed, your breath breaking into a soft, gasping cry as you came apart beneath him. Logan cursed softly, watching you unravel, his fingers slowing just enough to help you ride it out.
You were still trembling when he pulled his hand away, bringing his fingers to his lips. He met your gaze as he licked them clean, eyes dark and heavy-lidded.
“Fuck, sweetheart,” he rasped. “You taste good.”
Your stomach flipped, heat rising to your cheeks, but Logan was already shifting, already pressing slow, deep kisses against your lips. He took his time, letting you catch your breath, hands steady as they stroked over your hips, your thighs, your waist.
“Still doin’ alright?” he murmured.
You nodded, breathless, fingers curling against his chest. “Yeah.”
Logan smirked, but there was something softer in it, something warmer. “Good.”
His hand skimmed down your side, slow and deliberate, rough fingertips brushing over the curve of your hip. He was watching you too closely, the way he always did when he wanted to be sure you were with him, when he needed to see it in your eyes.
You curled your fingers into his hair and pulled him back down to you, mouth meeting his in a kiss that was less careful this time. You weren’t thinking about shyness, about hesitation—just the heat of his skin, the weight of him pressing you into the mattress, the way his hands knew exactly where to touch.
Logan groaned low against your lips, his body settling fully against yours now, bare skin to bare skin, except for the one piece of clothing left between you. His jeans were rough where they brushed against your thighs, the contrast making you shiver as his hands moved—one sliding beneath you to brace your back, the other gripping your hip, his fingers flexing like he was grounding himself in the feel of you.
He kissed you like he was trying to memorize the shape of your mouth, the taste of you, like he wasn’t sure if this was real or if you’d slip through his fingers again.
You felt it in the way he touched you, in the way he lingered, his lips dragging from your mouth down to your jaw, the column of your throat. His breath was hot against your skin, each exhale rougher than the last.
“You still with me, sweetheart?” Logan murmured against your pulse, his voice low, rasping.
You swallowed hard, nodding before remembering he’d want more than that. “Yeah,” you breathed. “I’m with you.”
A muscle in his jaw twitched. His fingers tightened against your hip like he was restraining himself, like he had to be careful, because this was you, and even though he’d wanted this for so fucking long, he wouldn’t rush it.
Wouldn’t rush you.
His nose brushed against your cheek as he exhaled, long and slow, before kissing you again—slower this time, deliberate.
His hands started moving again, dragging over the softness of your waist, down to your thighs, his touch firm but steady, mapping you out, savoring. When he reached the inside of your knee, he eased it up, guiding your leg around his waist. The shift pressed you flush against him, and Logan let out a sharp breath through his nose, his forehead resting against yours for a moment like he needed to gather himself.
“Fuck,” he muttered, his voice nearly a growl. His hands flexed against you, one sliding down to your ass, gripping, shifting you just enough that the hard press of him against your core made you whimper.
Logan groaned at the sound, his head dipping, lips grazing your collarbone. “You don’t even know what that does to me,” he murmured, his mouth trailing lower.
You bit your lip, your fingers twitching against his shoulders. “I might have an idea.”
That pulled a rough chuckle from him, but it faded when you moved—when you shifted against him, pressing just enough to draw a hiss from his lips.
His restraint was slipping.
He was already worked up, and you could feel it, the tension coiling in his muscles, the way his breathing had gone ragged. He’d been patient, slow, but the way he was gripping you now, the way his hands were starting to tremble against your skin—he was close to losing that patience.
And you wanted him to.
You reached between you, fingers brushing along his stomach, the waistband of his jeans. Logan’s breath hitched, his hips twitching forward before he caught himself, gripping your wrist before you could go further.
“Darlin’.” His voice was tight, strained. “You don’t gotta—”
“I know,” you murmured, looking up at him. Your free hand brushed against his jaw, grounding him. “I want to.”
Logan’s grip on your wrist loosened at that, his lips parting, something flickering behind his eyes that looked a hell of a lot like reverence.
Then he let go.
You made quick work of his belt, the button, the zipper—your hands were steady, but your heart was racing. Logan watched you, his breath shallow, his chest rising and falling in uneven bursts as you shoved the last barrier down over his hips.
His skin was hot against yours, his body solid, strong, and when he settled against you again, when there was nothing between you anymore, you let out a sharp, shaking breath at the feeling of him, the sheer heat and weight of him pressing against you.
Logan groaned, his forehead pressing against yours. “Christ.”
Your fingers curled into his shoulders, legs tightening around his waist. “Logan—”
“I got you,” he murmured. His voice was softer now, and the hand on your hip slid lower. You made a soft, pleading sound, shifting beneath him, your fingers flexing against his skin. Logan exhaled sharply, his hand leaving you to brace himself above you again. His eyes met yours. “You sure?”
You nodded, but Logan didn’t move. He needed to hear you say it.
“Yes,” you murmured, your voice quiet but sure. “I’m sure.”
Something in his expression eased, and then—
He pushed in, slow, steady, careful.
Your breath caught. Logan groaned, low and rough, his head tipping forward, his body shuddering as he fought to keep himself controlled.
“You feel so fuckin’ good,” he muttered, his voice thick, strained. His hands flexed against you, his breath ragged against your skin as he pushed in deeper, filling you completely.
You gasped, gripping his arms, your body stretching to take him, adjusting around him. Logan cursed softly, his forehead pressing to your shoulder, his hands shaking against you.
“Tell me if—” His voice was almost wrecked. “If I need to slow down, I will.”
You shook your head, breathless. “You’re perfect.”
Logan let out a quiet, shuddering exhale. “Fuck.”
His hips pulled back, then pressed forward again, slow, measured. His restraint was there, barely, his muscles taut beneath your hands, his movements careful but not hesitant.
You moaned softly, your body arching into him, and Logan swore under his breath, his grip tightening on your hips.
“Goddamn,” he muttered. “You feel like you were made for me.”
You trembled beneath him, overwhelmed by the heat, the weight, the way he filled every part of you so completely. Logan was holding himself together by a thread, his hands flexing against your hips like he was steadying himself, grounding himself in the feel of you. His breath was heavy against your skin, rough and uneven, his forehead pressing against yours as he stilled inside you, letting you adjust.
“Jesus, darlin’,” he muttered, his voice wrecked. “You—” He cut himself off, exhaling sharply through his nose. “Fuck.”
Your fingers curled against the broad planes of his back, nails digging into firm muscle as you took a shaky breath. He was big—not just in size, but in presence, in weight, in the sheer way he surrounded you, body and soul. You weren’t sure you’d ever felt this full before. It was almost too much. Almost.
But Logan wasn’t rushing.
He didn’t move, didn’t push. He just stayed there, his body taut with restraint, his jaw tight. His thumb traced absentminded circles on your hip, a small, grounding motion against the intensity of everything else.
“You okay?” His voice was rough, thick with the effort of holding himself back.
You swallowed, nodding, but when you saw the way he was watching you—his eyes dark, searching—you knew that wasn’t enough. “Yeah,” you murmured. “I’m okay.”
Logan’s throat bobbed as he exhaled slowly, like he needed to hear it, needed the confirmation.
Still, he didn’t move right away. He stayed just like that, warm and solid above you, one hand slipping up to cradle the side of your face, his thumb brushing over your cheekbone.
It was gentler than you’d expected. You weren’t sure why—you knew Logan was careful with you, always. He was rough around the edges, sure, but with you, he never let himself be careless. Even now, even with his body wound tight as a wire, he held himself back, waiting for you to let him know it was okay.
You exhaled softly, tilting your head just enough to brush your lips against his in a slow, lingering kiss. Logan groaned low in his throat, the hand on your hip tightening fractionally, but he didn’t deepen it—he let you set the pace.
You pulled back just enough to whisper against his mouth. “You can move.”
Logan’s whole body tensed at that, his breath hitching. “Fuck,” he muttered, his forehead pressing against yours again like he was collecting himself. Then, after a long moment—
He pulled back, just a little, before pushing forward again, slow and steady.
The stretch had you gasping, your fingers tightening against his shoulders. Logan gritted his teeth, cursing under his breath as he did it again, his pace careful, deliberate, as if savoring every inch of you.
“You’re so goddamn tight,” he muttered, voice rough as gravel. His lips brushed your temple, his breath warm against your skin. “So fuckin’ perfect.”
Heat curled in your stomach at the way he said it—like he couldn’t believe this was real, like he couldn’t believe he had you beneath him, wrapped around him like this.
Your thighs squeezed around his waist instinctively, and Logan groaned, his hands gripping you tighter.
“Darlin’,” he rasped, his voice strained. “You keep doin’ that, I ain’t gonna last.”
You swallowed hard, your head tipping back against the pillow. “Sorry,” you whispered, your voice shaky.
Logan let out a rough chuckle, his lips brushing the side of your neck. “Ain’t complainin’.”
He thrust again, just a little harder this time, and you let out a soft, broken sound, your back arching. Logan groaned, his teeth scraping along your jaw before he kissed you again, deeper this time, his tongue sliding against yours in a slow, drugging rhythm that matched the roll of his hips.
Your hands slid up his back, over the warm expanse of skin, tracing the dips and ridges of old scars. Logan shuddered beneath your touch, his muscles flexing under your fingers.
His mouth left yours only to drag lower, down the line of your throat, over the curve of your shoulder. “Goddamn,” he muttered against your skin, his voice thick with want. “I’ve wanted this—” He cut himself off with a groan, his fingers flexing against your waist. “You don’t even know how long.”
You whimpered softly, tightening your legs around him. “Then don’t hold back.”
Logan’s head snapped up at that, his breath catching. His eyes locked onto yours, something dark and wanting flashing behind them.
For a second, you thought he might tease you, draw it out longer—but something in your voice must have struck him, because Logan let out a rough breath and gave you exactly what you asked for.
He started moving in earnest now, his rhythm still measured but deeper, more insistent, dragging pleasure from you with every roll of his hips. Your breath hitched, your nails pressing into his shoulders as heat coiled in your stomach, sharp and electric.
You gasped as he thrust again, your body tightening around him. “Logan—”
He groaned at the way you said his name, his fingers digging into your hips. His pace faltered for a second, like he was struggling to keep himself controlled, like he was on the edge of losing himself completely.
And maybe you wanted him to.
Your hands slid up to cup his face, guiding him back down into another kiss, one that was messier now, more desperate. Logan growled against your lips, his movements turning just a little rougher, just a little faster, and you moaned into his mouth, your body arching up to meet him.
You could feel yourself getting close, the pleasure building, tightening, making your breath come faster. Logan felt it too—the way your body trembled, the way your breath caught.
“C’mon, sweetheart,” he muttered, his voice wrecked, his hips rolling into yours just right. “Let me feel you.”
The coil snapped.
You cried out, your body shuddering as you came around him, the pleasure cresting over you in sharp, dizzying waves. Logan cursed, his hands gripping you tight as he followed, his rhythm stuttering before he buried himself deep, groaning low against your throat as he let go.
For a long moment, the only sound in the room was heavy breathing, the quiet hum of the TV still playing in the background. Logan stayed there, his forehead against yours, his hands still steady on your hips, like he wasn’t ready to let go just yet.
Then, slowly, he shifted, pulling you into his chest as he rolled onto his side, keeping you close, keeping you warm. His breath was still heavy, but his hands were gentle as they traced over your back, his lips pressing softly against your temple.
“You alright?” he murmured, voice still rough around the edges.
You nodded against his chest, your fingers curling into his skin. “Yeah.”
Logan exhaled slowly, something easing in his expression. “You stayin’ here tonight?”
You huffed a quiet laugh, pressing your face into his shoulder. “I think that’s a given.”
Logan smirked against your hair. “Good.”
---
Bonus Scene
He couldn’t help himself—you looked cute today. To others, it was just a regular outfit, slacks and a sweater, but the difference was those damn heels.
Logan leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching as you walked down the hall, completely unaware of the effect you were having on him. The soft click of your heels against the floor was downright distracting, and the way they made you stand just a little taller—closer to him—wasn’t helping, either.
You adjusted your glasses, scanning over the notes in your hand as you made your way toward the classroom. Logan smirked to himself, shaking his head. Of course, you were completely oblivious.
He pushed off the wall and fell into step beside you. “Fancy shoes, sweetheart.”
You glanced up at him, brow furrowing slightly before realization dawned. “Oh. Yeah.” You adjusted your grip on the papers, glancing down at them. “I don’t wear them often, but I figured I should—”
“Keep ‘em.” Logan cut you off before you could finish whatever practical reason you were about to give.
You blinked up at him. “What?”
His smirk deepened, eyes dropping briefly to your heels before dragging back up. “I like ‘em.”
Your lips parted slightly, as if you wanted to say something, but instead, you quickly looked back at your papers, clearing your throat. “They’re just shoes, Logan.”
“Uh-huh.” Logan’s voice was amused, his smirk never fading.
He could see it—the way you fidgeted slightly, the way your grip tightened just a little on the papers. You were flustered, and it was adorable.
You reached your classroom, your free hand on the doorknob, but before you could step inside, Logan’s hand landed on your hip, pulling you back just enough that you felt the warmth of him behind you. He leaned in, lips brushing the shell of your ear.
“They make your legs look real nice, too,” he murmured.
You inhaled sharply, your back straightening. “Logan—”
“Yeah, sweetheart?”
You turned your head just slightly, your cheek barely grazing his. You opened your mouth to say something—probably a scolding, judging by the look in your eyes—but Logan just grinned, giving your hip a final squeeze before stepping back.
“See you later, darlin’.”
And with that, he walked off, leaving you standing there, flustered and gripping the doorknob like it was the only thing keeping you upright.
Yeah. He was definitely keeping those heels around.
---
You didn’t wear them again for a while—you usually would only consider wearing them on days when you didn’t have to be in the lab.
So, a few weeks later they were on again. The day went on normally, no interruptions from Logan, at least not any more than usual, and by the end of the workday you were glad to finally take them off.
You had already taken off your cardigan, leaving you in a simple t-shirt, and now you were unstrapping your heels.
The second heel slid off your foot with a relieved sigh. You flexed your toes against the carpet, rolling your ankles slightly. You hadn't even heard Logan come in—not until his voice rumbled from the doorway.
“Lemme help, sweetheart.”
Your head snapped up, caught halfway through massaging the arch of your foot. Logan was already moving toward you, dark eyes locked onto yours with that unreadable expression, something steady and sure. The kind that made your breath hitch.
“You don’t have to—”
He crouched down in front of you before you could finish, already reaching for your legs. Large hands wrapped around your calves, rough fingers kneading into muscle as he lifted one foot, pressing his thumb into the soft ache just beneath your toes.
A quiet breath left you, head tipping slightly back at the relief of it. He chuckled, low and knowing.
“Yeah, figured they’d be sore. Been watchin’ you walk around in ‘em all day.” His fingers trailed down, slow and deliberate, past your ankle and along your shin, stopping just above your knee. He looked up then, and something about the way he did it—half-lidded, knowing—made heat bloom low in your stomach.
His hands didn’t move away. Not when he squeezed gently, dragging his palms down the length of your legs again, not even when his fingers hooked into the waistband of your slacks.
Your breath caught. “Logan…”
He hummed, a wordless sound of acknowledgment, but he didn’t stop. He unbuttoned them slowly, eyes flicking up to yours. “Just helpin’ you get comfortable, darlin’.”
You should’ve expected it—Logan wasn’t the type to stop at just your shoes. But still, the sensation of your slacks being eased down, the brush of cool air against your thighs as he worked them off, sent a shiver up your spine.
And then, just as you were about to stand, assuming this was about changing into something else, Logan’s hands were on your hips, pushing you back down.
Your brows furrowed. “I thought—”
But Logan was already reaching for the heels again. He slid them back onto your feet, slow, deliberate. His fingers lingered as he adjusted the straps, the rough scrape of his calloused skin against your ankle making your pulse stutter.
Your lips parted, about to ask what he was doing—but before you could, he pressed a firm hand to your thigh, spreading you open just enough, and then he was moving lower, kneeling between your legs.
The realization hit all at once.
“Logan—”
His hands gripped your thighs, pulling you just that much closer to the edge of the bed. He exhaled sharply, and you could feel it—hot, teasing, right against the thin cotton of your underwear. His nose brushed against the fabric, and the sound that left him was almost a growl.
“Been thinkin’ about this all damn day,” he muttered. One of his hands slid up, fingers pressing into the meat of your hip, while the other smoothed down to hook around the back of your knee.
You swallowed hard, fingers curling into the sheets. “You—” Your voice hitched when his mouth brushed against you again, this time with intent. “You could’ve just said so.”
He chuckled against you, lips dragging over the fabric, teasing. “Nah,” he murmured. “Better like this.”
His tongue traced along the dampening fabric, slow and unhurried, dragging just enough to make you squirm. The first real sound of pleasure slipped from your lips before you could swallow it down. He made a noise of approval, pressing his mouth more firmly against you.
Your fingers twitched against the sheets, breath coming faster. “Logan…”
Logan’s breath was hot against you, teasing, his mouth hovering right where you needed him but refusing to give in just yet. His hands stayed firm on your thighs, thumbs pressing circles into your skin, like he had all the time in the world.
Your fingers curled tighter into the sheets, your breath coming in uneven, shallow little bursts. "Logan—"
"Yeah, sweetheart?" His voice was deep, roughened by amusement, like he already knew what you wanted but wanted to hear you say it anyway.
Your nails dug into the fabric beneath you, and Logan chuckled—low, pleased. He pressed a kiss over your underwear, slow and deliberate, letting his lips linger before dragging his tongue over the fabric. The heat of his mouth seared through, and your hips jerked involuntarily.
He groaned, hands flexing against your thighs. "Knew you'd be sensitive."
A flush burned hot up your neck, your head tipping back as his fingers traced slow, teasing lines up and down your legs, just enough pressure to keep you on edge but not enough to satisfy. He slid his hands up, past your knees, before hooking his arms beneath your thighs, pulling them up, over his shoulders.
Your breath caught as your calves rested against his broad back, the heels he had insisted you keep on grazing against his muscles. His grip tightened, locking you into place, and something about the sheer strength of him—the way he held you like this, open, vulnerable, completely at his mercy—made your stomach clench.
He pressed a slow, open-mouthed kiss against your thigh, then another, working his way back toward the soaked fabric between your legs. His tongue flicked out again, just enough pressure to make you squirm, before he pulled back with a smirk.
"Logan," you breathed, frustration seeping into your tone.
His eyes flicked up, dark and hungry. "What, darlin'?"
"You—" Your fingers curled into the sheets again, your voice catching as he flattened his tongue against you, pressing hard enough that you felt every inch of him through the fabric. Your back arched instinctively, a soft, broken sound slipping from your lips.
That noise seemed to snap something in him.
Logan growled, deep and guttural, his fingers hooking into the waistband of your underwear. In one slow, deliberate motion, he dragged them down, letting them catch around your knees before finally tugging them free. His hands didn’t waste any time, gripping the backs of your thighs again, pulling you even closer.
"That's better," he muttered, almost to himself.
And then his mouth was on you, hot and relentless.
A gasp tore from you, your thighs instinctively trying to clamp shut, but his grip held you open. His tongue worked slow at first, dragging long, torturous strokes through your folds, before circling right where you needed him most.
Your breath stuttered. "Oh—"
Logan groaned, the sound vibrating through you. "That’s it, sweetheart," he murmured against you. "Let me hear you."
You bit your lip, trying to keep some of the sounds at bay, but he didn’t like that. His hands squeezed your thighs in warning before his mouth sealed around your clit, sucking just enough to make your entire body jolt.
A cry ripped from your throat.
"Atta girl," he praised, the words sending a fresh wave of heat down your spine. His grip adjusted, hands sliding lower, past your hips, thumbs pressing into the crease where your thighs met your body. Holding you still. Keeping you exactly where he wanted you.
His tongue was merciless, alternating between slow, deliberate strokes and firm, insistent pressure that had your thighs trembling against his shoulders. Every flick, every graze of his teeth, sent electricity sparking up your spine.
You didn’t even realize you were babbling his name until he groaned in response, pressing his mouth harder against you. The pressure built fast, white-hot and overwhelming, your whole body tightening as the coil in your stomach threatened to snap.
"Logan, I—" Your voice cracked, desperate, hands flying to grip his hair, tugging without thinking.
That was all it took.
Logan growled against you, and then his tongue was working you over with ruthless intent, flicking and sucking in a way that sent you crashing over the edge. Your body tensed, your back arching, his name spilling from your lips in broken, breathless gasps as pleasure wracked through you.
He didn’t stop.
Your thighs trembled against him, your whole body oversensitive, but Logan didn’t let up. His grip stayed firm, his tongue still dragging through your folds, teasing, relentless.
A whimper slipped from you, half-plea, half-helpless moan.
“Mmm, Logan?”
Your voice trembled—soft, breathless, still caught in the aftershocks of your first climax, and Logan felt it. The way your thighs quivered against his shoulders, your calves resting against his back, those damn heels grazing along the muscles of his spine. He exhaled sharply through his nose, lips still pressed to the slick heat between your legs.
“What, sweetheart?” His voice was low, rough, vibrating against you.
Your breath hitched. The heat of Logan’s mouth lingered against you, his tongue flicking one last, teasing time before he dragged his lips back up to press against the soft skin of your inner thigh. You twitched beneath him, a small tremor still rippling through your muscles, breath unsteady, fingers weakly curled into the sheets.
“I thought you were—”
Your voice caught as his teeth scraped lightly over your thigh, right where it was still damp from his mouth. He hummed, low and thoughtful, and didn’t move away. If anything, he settled in deeper, his broad hands tightening around your thighs, thumbs smoothing up toward the curve of your hips.
“Done?” His voice was all rough amusement, muffled against your skin.
A shaky exhale left you.
His lips curved. “Oh, sweetheart.” A kiss, slow and open-mouthed, right at the crease of your thigh. “You really think I’m done with you?”
Your breath stuttered. He hadn’t moved back—hadn’t given you any space to recover. He was still right there, his mouth still hovering over sensitive skin, his breath warm, teasing, pressing against you like a promise.
You swallowed, fingers flexing against the sheets. “I—”
He turned his head slightly, his nose brushing right where you were still slick, still sensitive. Your whole body jerked at the touch, an involuntary sound breaking in your throat.
Logan groaned. “That’s what I thought.”
And then his hands were on your hips again, sliding up your sides, holding you steady as he buried his mouth back between your thighs.
A gasp ripped from you, your body jolting at the sheer intensity of it. You’d barely come down from the first wave of pleasure, your skin still too sensitive, too raw—but Logan didn’t care. He was relentless, tongue pressing deep, slow, deliberate, dragging up before circling back around your clit.
You whimpered, your hands flying back to his hair, twisting in the thick strands.
He groaned again at the pull, the vibration of it sending another sharp, overwhelming pulse through you.
“Fuck, you taste good,” he muttered against you, voice thick, wrecked. “Could do this all night.”
Your legs trembled. You didn’t doubt him.
He worked you open with his tongue, slow and indulgent, taking his time, like he had nowhere else to be, no other priority but this—this, and the way you came apart in his hands. He pulled you closer, dragging your thighs up higher over his shoulders, making sure you couldn’t squirm away.
The position shifted something, the heels on your feet sliding slightly against his back, the small sharp drag of them making him grunt.
His tongue flicked over you again, lazy, slow, savoring. He had you completely at his mercy, held tight in his grip, and he knew it.
“Logan,” you gasped, voice breaking.
He smirked against you. “That’s it, darlin’.” His tongue circled once, twice, before he sealed his lips around you again, sucking just right.
The pleasure built fast, unbearable, twisting in your stomach like a live wire sparking beneath your skin. Your breath hitched, your thighs shaking against him, the grip you had in his hair tightening as you tried to ground yourself.
Logan groaned, deep and approving, and then he doubled down. His mouth was insatiable, his tongue working you open, pushing you right to the edge without hesitation.
You felt it hit—sharp and sudden, your whole body tensing as your second orgasm crashed through you.
A sob caught in your throat. Logan didn’t stop.
He rode you through it, drinking in every sound, every twitch of your hips, every broken whimper that left you as you shattered against his mouth. He held you steady, his tongue still teasing, slow, languid, like he was tasting you, savoring the way you trembled for him.
You barely had time to catch your breath before he moved up, dragging his lips along your stomach, pressing slow, hot kisses as he went.
“Think you can give me one more, sweetheart?” he murmured against your skin.
Your breath was still coming fast, your body still tingling with aftershocks. “I—”
"Yeah, darlin’," Logan rasped against your thigh, the vibration of his voice sending another tremor through your oversensitive body. He wasn’t asking—just waiting. Waiting for you to tell him no, to push at his shoulders, to make some attempt at stopping him.
You didn’t.
A deep, satisfied hum rumbled through his chest, his stubble dragging against the tender skin of your inner thigh as he pressed another open-mouthed kiss there. His hands stayed firm at your hips, thumbs smoothing slow, absent circles against your flushed skin.
"You got one more in you," he muttered. Not a question. A promise.
Your fingers curled weakly into the sheets, your chest rising and falling in uneven breaths. "Logan, I—I don’t think—"
"You can." His voice was thick, low, possessive. His hands flexed against you, grounding, holding you still like he could feel the way your legs wanted to clamp shut, your body already overwhelmed. "I got you."
And then his mouth was on you again.
A sharp gasp tore from your throat, your back arching as the wet heat of his tongue pressed against your still-sensitive clit. It was too much—the pleasure too sharp, too immediate, your nerves already frayed and exposed from the last two times.
Your hand flew to his hair, fingers tangling in the thick strands, pulling without thinking. Logan groaned against you, the sound vibrating through every inch of your body, his grip tightening in response.
"Fuck," he breathed, pulling back just enough to murmur against your skin. "You’re still so fuckin’ sensitive, huh?" He didn’t wait for an answer. Just grinned against you before dragging his tongue through your folds again, slow, deliberate, like he was savoring every reaction, every helpless little sound that slipped from your lips.
Your breath hitched, thighs trembling against his broad shoulders. "I—Logan, I don’t—"
"Shhh, sweetheart." His voice was rough, but his touch was steady, unwavering. His hands slid up your sides, fingers splaying over your ribs, grounding you. "Just let me take care of you."
Your stomach clenched, your body torn between pushing him away and pulling him closer. You were too sensitive, too overwhelmed—but Logan wasn’t relenting. He was dragging you over the edge whether you were ready or not.
His tongue pressed deeper, slow and indulgent, before curling up just right, and your body jolted, a sharp cry breaking from your throat. Logan growled at the reaction, his hands gripping your hips tighter as he kept you pinned beneath him.
"You feel that?" he muttered against you, the heat of his breath making you shudder. "How fuckin’ good you taste?" His tongue flicked against you again, making your whole body jerk. "Bet you don’t even know what you do to me."
You moaned, the sound half-frustrated, half-helpless. Your thighs clenched around his head, but Logan only groaned, pressing himself deeper against you, like he wanted to drown in the feeling of you coming apart beneath him.
Your grip in his hair tightened, pulling hard enough to sting. "L-Logan—"
"That’s it," he growled. "Say my name, sweetheart."
You did. Over and over, broken and breathless, as his mouth worked you open, relentless and unforgiving. His tongue was precise, knowing, dragging slow and then fast, flicking before sucking, giving you just enough to send another sharp pulse of pleasure tearing through you.
The coil in your stomach wound tight—too tight, too fast.
You felt it coming, and so did he.
"Give it to me," Logan muttered against you, his voice almost desperate. "Come on, darlin’."
And then he sucked—hard.
White-hot pleasure ripped through you.
Your whole body tensed, your back arching, your breath catching in a sharp, broken cry. The orgasm slammed into you with dizzying force, a wave so intense it nearly knocked the air from your lungs. Your thighs clamped around his head, your fingers fisting in his hair, your entire body trembling against him.
Logan groaned, dragging his tongue through the mess he’d made, working you through every last tremor, every aftershock, until you were nothing but a shivering, spent mess beneath him.
Only then did he slow, his movements easing from hungry and desperate to slow and indulgent, like he was committing the taste of you to memory.
Your breath came in short, uneven gasps, your body completely limp against the mattress. Logan finally pulled back, pressing one last open-mouthed kiss to the inside of your thigh before lifting his head.
His lips were slick, his pupils blown wide, his expression dark with satisfaction as he looked up at you.
"Told you," he murmured.
You could barely manage to lift your head, still dazed, your limbs uncooperative. "Told me what?" you managed, voice hoarse.
His smirk deepened, and he reached up, gripping your ankle. His thumb brushed over the strap of your heel, gaze flicking to where it still sat, perfectly in place on your foot.
"Told you I liked these."
Your cheeks burned, the heat rushing back to your face all at once.
Logan chuckled, clearly pleased with himself. He pushed himself up, his body unfolding as he moved over you, one arm bracing beside your head, his other hand gripping your hip. He was still fully dressed, still perfectly in control, while you lay there completely undone beneath him.
You swallowed hard, your pulse still racing. "You’re—"
A smirk tugged at his lips. "Yeah?"
You huffed, turning your face away, but he caught your chin, gently tilting your gaze back to him.
"You okay?" His voice softened, rough edges smoothing just enough to make your heart squeeze.
You nodded, still catching your breath. Logan’s thumb traced along your jaw, his gaze lingering on your face for a long moment before he finally leaned down, pressing his lips to your forehead.
“Good,” he murmured against your skin.
You felt the heat of his breath, the scrape of his stubble, and for a moment, neither of you moved. The weight of him was solid, grounding, his presence steady and familiar.
Finally, Logan exhaled through his nose, shifting slightly, his hands settling around your waist. He pressed another kiss to your shoulder, then muttered, “Should get you cleaned up, huh?”
You made a small noise in response, still too boneless to move.
Logan smirked. "Yeah, figured."
With an ease that shouldn’t have been possible, he lifted you up, settling you against his chest. His hands skimmed down your legs, his fingers lingering at the straps of your heels before slowly undoing them, slipping them off one at a time.
You let out a quiet sigh as the last one slid from your foot, the ache in your calves finally easing. Logan chuckled, pressing a kiss against your temple.
"Don't get too comfortable, sweetheart," he murmured. "Ain't done takin' care of you yet."
And with that, he stood, carrying you effortlessly toward the bathroom.
yeah... i might've gotten a bit carried away

thinking about izuku missing you on a long mission - mdni
your phone rings as you’re curling your body into bed, izuku’s familiar face lighting up your screen.
“hi sweetheart,” he says the moment you pick up. no matter how long you’ve been with izuku, the fact that years of pro hero work have scraped at his vocal cords always makes your stomach drop. the slight rasp makes his soft voice sound dangerous. "how’s my girl?"
you squish your face into the pillow, cradling the phone close. "okay. be better with you here."
"missing me, baby?" you hear rustling on his end, followed by a low grunt. "as much as I’m missing you?"
arousal hits you like a truck.
an image fills your head of izuku with his pants shucked down to his ankles, shirt between his teeth and hips desperately lifting off the bed. you roll onto your back, snaking a hand down into your pajama shorts. izuku’s unabashed desire for you never fails to make you wet, and sure enough, your fingers slide through your folds easily.
“wanna see, izu?”
he exhales sharply. “fuck. yeah, i’m gonna need to see you, baby. already soaking wet for me?”
you might hate to be apart from izuku for a mission, but you love what it does to his mouth. he hisses through his teeth when the picture you send goes through.
"love how wide you’re spreading those pretty legs, sweetheart." izuku’s voice is gravelly and rough. "missing my cock the way I’m missing your pussy? my fist isn’t the fucking same, princess, you know that? doesn’t grip me tight and snug like you do."
your skin flashes hot. "need me wrapped around you, izu?"
he groans low and filthy. your pussy flutters around nothing as you rub little circles on your clit. you might cum just from this, you think wildly.
"when I get home, I’m making you cum at least five times before I get my dick in you," izuku pants, teeth clenched between gasps. it’s been a week since he’s touched you, and not a single thing has relieved the ache in his cock. "want the lower half of my face fucking soaked in you, sweetheart, wanna ruin our sheets."
you whimper. his hand slides over the head of his cock, thumb rough over the slit, just like the way you touch him.
"fuck, you like the sound of that, don’t you? you’re making the sounds you make when you’re close."
"izu, honey, I wanna hear you cum first, okay?" it’s like you can barely get the sentence out. he bucks his hips hard into the ring of his fist.
"fuck. next time, baby, okay? cum with me now, can you do that?" he hears what sounds like sheets rustling and imagines you nodding your head furiously. god, you’re so fucking cute when you’re like this, pliant and begging. "rub that swollen clit of yours for me, I know you’re almost there. I’m right behind you, sweet girl."
"izuuuu," you wail. he’s memorized what you look like before you fall apart, head tossed back, eyes rolling up in your head, full mouth chanting his name. he conjures the image now, matches it to the sounds falling from your lips.
"there's my fucking girl, let me hear you." he feels his orgasm unfurl in his lower stomach, a keening ache that makes his rhythm falter.
can't wait till i'll home with you. don't forget to clean yourself up, baby. don't groan," he chuckles softly. "i'll be home soon enough to do it for you, and you know you don't like going to bed sticky."
"especially if you're not the cause," you tease sleepily. "night, izu. love you."
"love you, sweetheart. be home soon."
in such desperate need of comfort like this!! ˖⁺‧₊ as always, reblogs, replies, and tags are so appreciated <3

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was (or is!) proud of being a bookworm. When I was a kid/teen, I loved the fact that I'd get a dozen books for my birthday and have them all read inside of a week. I loved reading and I loved stories and everyone knew it.
It was a core part of how I constructed my identity, alongside being a Star Trek fan and being sarcastic. If you asked 15-year-old ao3cotd to describe herself, I'm positive being "a voracious reader" would probably be in the top 3 things I listed.
When I see that post about people on tiktok claiming that they only read 100K (or longer) fics, I just see it as the current version of "I got 12 books for my birthday and I read them all in a week." It's people who strongly identify as readers (specifically fanfic readers) bragging about their ability to read.
It doesn't feel like the prevailing opinion to me. It also doesn't feel like something that's necessarily true. Even people who love epic length stories will dip into shorter stuff now and again, just like people who prefer shorter stories will read something longer if the summary and tags look appealing to them.
All of this is just to say, don't worry too much about other people's preferences. You know what you like, and that's what's important.
#it's also important to remember that we all change over time#I used to read 12 novels in a week#and now I can barely manage 1 a month#but that's okay#because I still enjoy that one#I'm just savouring it more than I used to#taking smaller bites#because that's the kind of time I have now

Okay I'm seeing confusion on this so let me help out to people who don't see the path chose.
Pedophilia, grooming, sexual abuse ect. is nearly universally hated it makes a knee jerk reactions of fear and hatred in most people.
In that reaction people act irrationally they will support a bill without fully reading understanding that it hurts predators and that's enough for them.
Next either hidden in addendum or in a seperate bill they sneak in a less publicized vote to consider expressions of same sex attraction or gender nonconformity to being "explicitly adult material".
Now you may be saying "ttmog it's been culturally adult material for generations what's the issue?" Well I'm glad you asked hypothetical questioner. The difference is it wasn't in legal documentation. The moment it becomes legal documentation it doesn't matter how defiant or polite you are it's seen as adult only material.
Now what does this do? Well it is illegal to distribute or expose adult material to minors. These bills would wager that by a child seeing two men kissing, or a amab in a dress, it is inherently exposing them to adult material. Which classifies the people observed as displaying adult material to a minor, which could be classified as grooming so now....:
We have a gay couple getting executed for displaying affection because a child happened to be present... despite the fact they see straight people do this every day on tv...
These bills are dangerous, they set dangerous precedent, and give means to change the word groomer to mean whatever the hell they want it to mean.
Leading to them being able to execute any group they want.
Be safe, be vigilant and keep fighting. These can not be let to lie we can NOT let them twist things.
Why am I telling all this? Well partially for your education maybe somebody will read this and be inspired to stand up in newfound clarity. But that's not the only reason. Those of you fighting need to be prepared to explain this. Because every time we just dismiss the people posting that "why are you saying it targets you" meme with that dumb goose it tells onlookers who are undecided that we can't answer the question.
Remember its not our goal to convince our opponent it's our goal to refute them well enough that onlookers won't be pulled into their den of propaganda.
Even if you think it won't convince the person you are arguing explain it so others don't get dragged down. And if you can't handle it? That's fine everyone needs a rest. Feel free to use this post as a way to explain if you wish or even tag me I have no qualms fighting bigots. I'm disabled I'm stuck at home and am working on making things for the family most the time. If I can use the times I need to rest my back to fight against stuff like that? Then I'm glad to just to make sure people are more safe.
Stay safe all drink yet water and remember you are loved and matter. You have a whole community behind you no matter what you aren't alone.
LGBT people, I need you to know that any “pedophile execution bill” passed in the US is meant to put you, personally, to death. When the right says “groomer,” they’re talking about you. When they say “predator,” they’re talking about you. When they say “pedophile,” they’re talking about you. Any actual child sex abusers who are convicted and executed would be, to them, a happy accident, a cherry on top of a law that’s meant to exterminate anyone who deviates from the cisgender, heterosexual norm.

Of Dog Tags and Love Letters
Simon Riley x Reader
Summary: Simon Riley never says “I love you” out loud. Instead, he writes letters, letters you were never meant to find.
Simon wasn’t the kind of man who said “I love you” easily.
He showed it instead.
He showed it in the way he pulled you close at night, in the way his hand always rested on the small of your back in public, in the way he made sure you always walked on the safer inside of the sidewalk.
His love wasn’t loud or obvious, but it was steady, always there.
Still, you wanted to hear it.
Just once.
Just once you wanted to hear him say it.
Simon had been gone on a mission for a few weeks.
You missed him, missed the way the house felt different when he was home.
Tonight, the quiet felt heavier than usual.
That’s what led you to the room, sitting on the bed, fidgeting with his dog tags.
That’s when you found them.
A small metal box, tucked away beneath an old shirt. You were trying to find a shirt which still smelled like him.
Inside the box, there were letters.
Dozens of them, all folded neatly, your name written on each one.
Your stomach flipped as you picked one up, your fingers shaking slightly as you unfolded the paper.
The handwriting was rough and rushed.
But it was undeniably his.
If you’re reading this, it means I didn’t make it back.
Your breathing stopped, but you kept reading.
I don’t say things the way I should. Never have. But you should know… you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. You’re the reason I want to come back in one piece. If I don’t... just know that I love you. Always have, always will.
Your chest ached as you grabbed another letter.
It was the same.
So was the next.
You looked at the dates. Every letter is written before a mission.
Every single one, carrying the words he never said to your face.
I love you.
All of them, filled with meaning and care. All of them are written from the heart.
You pressed them to your chest, blinking back tears.
Three days later, he was home.
The second he walked through the door, you didn’t wait. You crashed into him, arms wrapped tight around his middle.
He let out a small grunt of surprise. “What’s all this then?”
“You’re an idiot,” you mumbled into his shoulder.
He huffed a quiet laugh, arms circling around you. “Good to see you too, Love.”
You pulled back, searching his tired eyes. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
Simon’s body tensed. “Tell you what?”
You lifted your chin. “About the letters.”
His whole body went still.
“…You found them.” His voice was quiet.
You nodded. “Yeah. And I had to find out from some scraps of paper that you truly love me?”
His jaw flexed like he was bracing for something. “I didn’t think I’d ever—” He sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. “It’s not easy for me.”
“I don’t care if it’s easy,” you shot back, stepping closer to him. “Do you think this is easy for me? Waiting? Wondering if you’ll come home?” Your voice cracked. “Wondering if I’ll ever get to tell you—”
You stopped yourself, swallowing hard.
Simon’s eyes softened. “Tell me what?”
You exhaled. “That I love you too, you idiot.”
His breath hitched.
Then, before you could say anything else, he cupped your face in his hands, pressing his forehead to yours. His touch was warm, and grounding.
“Say it again,” he whispered, begged.
A smile tugged at your lips. You rested your hands on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your palm. “I love you.”
His eyes closed, and he let out a slow breath like he was letting himself believe it. When he spoke again, his voice was deep, barely above a whisper.
“I love you too.”
And this time, he didn’t need a letter to say it.

My Lover
//Kang Haerin x 6thMember!Reader//Short Oneshot//
SYPNOSIS ♡︎ Haerin isn’t the jealous type. At least, that’s what she tells herself—until she starts seeing clips of you and Minji all over the internet.
WARNINGS ♡︎ Jealousy, Possessiveness (soft and non-toxic), Brief Miscommunication, Shipping culture, Hidden Relationship(the members know lol)
WORDCOUNT ♡︎ 1.7k
TAGS ♡︎ Jealous!Haerin, Established Relationship, fluff, FLUFF(was literally kicking my feet while writing this), Light Angst??
A/N:This is a little 1am brain fart so If I cringe at it tomorrow, I’ll probably end up deleting it lol
"MINY/N SUPREMACY!!"
"Their chemistry is insane, are we SURE they’re just best friends??"
"Minji and Y/N have been inseparable lately."
Haerin scrolls through the comments under the latest clip of you and Minji’s interactions. The video itself is nothing special, just you laughing at one of Minji’s jokes, leaning into her like it’s second nature. But the fans eat it up.
The video loops again.
Your eyes crinkle when you smile at Minji. She reaches out instinctively when you stumble, her hand lingering just a second too long. And it’s not just one clip, there are dozens of them now. Edits spliced together, set to soft love songs, moments slowed down to exaggerate the way you two look at each other.
You aren’t Minji’s girlfriend.
You’re Haerin’s. Only hers.
But no one ever ships Haerin and Y/N. No one ever slows down the moments where she is the one next to you.
The thought settles in her chest, foreign and unfamiliar.
Jealousy.
But Haerin doesn’t get jealous.
…Right?
"They’re reaching." Haerin mutters under her breath.
She locks her phone and tosses it onto the bed. It’s just fan edits. Just harmless shipping. She’s known for a long time that people see what they want to see.
"Don’t let them get in your head.”
But then why does her chest feel so tight?
Because one comment keeps repeating in her mind.
"Minji and Y/N have been inseparable lately."
And it’s true.
Lately, you’ve been stuck to Minji like glue. On stage. In the waiting room. During interviews. Even in practice.
And Haerin remembers—earlier, while filming behind-the-scenes content, you had shoved your phone in Minji’s face, barely able to contain your laughter.
"Min, look! "Minji looking at Y/N like she's the love of her life" oh my god, the heart eyes emoji is killing me! They're reaching so muchhh."
You wheezed, whispering the last part, playfully smacking Minji’s shoulder over and over as she groaned in embarrassment.
The members had laughed. Even the staff chuckled.
Haerin hadn’t.
She had been standing by the water station, fingers curling a little too tightly around a flimsy paper cup, watching as you laughed with Minji like it was the easiest thing in the world.
‘You’re not Minji’s girlfriend.’
She let the water run down her throat, but it did nothing to wash away the strange, unsettled feeling gnawing at her chest.
‘You’re mine.’
Before she even realized it, she was walking back toward the group.
She didn’t say anything, but you noticed immediately.
"Hey, baby, you okay?" You stepped in front of her, voice soft, concern evident in your eyes.
Haerin barely nodded.
You frowned, about to press further—
"Alright, break’s over!" the choreographer called.
You hesitated, eyes scanning her face, but eventually sighed and gave her hand a light squeeze before stepping back into position.
Haerin watched you go.
She told herself it didn’t bother her.
But that was a lie.
And now, before she even realizes it, she’s standing in front of your door.
Her jealousy isn’t loud. It never is.
But when she pushes the door open, stepping into the dim glow of your room, you feel it instantly—heavy in the air, simmering just beneath the surface.
The kind of jealousy that doesn’t need words to be known.
You barely register the sound of the door creaking open before a familiar presence fills the room.
“Rinnie?” Your voice is soft, questioning, as you sit up in bed. There’s only one person who wouldn’t bother knocking.
Your girlfriend.
Sure enough, Haerin steps inside, her small frame swallowed by an oversized pink hoodie, the hood pulled up with little bear ears perched on top. On any other night, you’d tease her about how ridiculously cute she looks.
But something feels off.
Despite the cozy hoodie, her posture is rigid, her expression unreadable. Haerin has always been hard to read, but this, this is different.
You frown slightly, setting your phone aside. “Rinnie?”
She doesn’t answer right away. Instead, she takes a slow step forward, then another, her gaze locked onto yours. And for some reason, the air between you shifts, thicker, heavier.
You swallow.
Something is definitely wrong.
You frown slightly. “Is something wrong, love?”
The second the word love leaves your lips, Haerin stiffens. Then, as if short-circuiting, she speed-walks toward you, her ears turning the faintest shade of pink.
Before you can react, she climbs onto the bed, quietly straddling your lap. Her arms snake around your waist as she buries her face into your neck, pressing impossibly close.
Warmth instantly floods your chest.
You chuckle, wrapping your arms around her in return. "You’re clingy tonight" you tease lightly, rubbing slow circles against her back.
Haerin hums in response, but doesn’t say anything right away. Instead, she tightens her grip, nuzzling further into you, her soft hair tickling your skin.
Gently, you murmur, “Seriously Though, what’s wrong?”
She doesn’t answer immediately. A few beats pass, filled only by the quiet sound of your breathing. Then, finally, she mumbles against your skin, her voice barely above a whisper—
“Do you like seeing those videos?”
Your fingers still against her back.
Oh.
So that’s what this is about.
Smiling softly, you shift slightly, pressing a gentle kiss against the top of her hood. “Rinnie…”
She doesn’t lift her head, but you feel the way she tenses ever so slightly, waiting for your answer.
You sigh, pulling back just enough to cup her cheeks to meet your eyes. She resists at first, gaze flickering away, but you don’t let up. Your thumbs brush over the warmth of her skin, and slowly, reluctantly, her eyes find yours.
Her lips are pressed into a pout, her usual neutral expression betraying just the faintest hint of something vulnerable. It’s almost too cute to handle.
“The edits are kind of funny,” you admit, brushing your thumb along her cheek. “But they don’t mean anything.”
Haerin’s lips twitch, but she doesn’t respond.
A small pause.
“You’re always with Minji when we film,” she mutters.
You blink, momentarily taken aback by the shift in her tone.
“Minji isn’t your girlfriend,” she says, quieter this time. “I am.”
Your chest tightens at how small her voice sounds.
A soft laugh escapes you before you can stop it—not out of mockery, but out of sheer disbelief that this is what’s been eating at her. That your Haerin, quiet and composed, is sulking over some fan edits.
“Wait, are you jealous?” you tease, poking her cheek playfully.
Haerin doesn’t answer right away. Instead, she gently takes your wrist, her fingers curling around it, thumb tracing slow, deliberate circles against your skin.
“…You don’t act like that with me.”
Your teasing smile fades.
“On camera, no,” you clarify, voice softer now. “You know how careful we have to be, Rinnie. I didn’t want to make things harder for you, so I thought keeping some distance was the best thing.”
Haerin stays quiet, her gaze locked onto where her fingers are still brushing against yours.
You tilt your head slightly, watching her. “I’m sorry, baby. I thought it was what you wanted.”
“I don’t like it,” she murmurs.
You exhale, squeezing her hand. “Then tell me what you do want.”
“I don’t want you getting shipped with Minji.”
“I don’t want you to distance yourself from me on camera.”
You hold her gaze for a moment before nodding.
“Okay.”
You don’t break your promise.
The next time the cameras are rolling, you make sure Haerin feels it.
During a phoning live, when Minji passes you a snack, you thank her without much thought—but instead of eating it right away, you turn to Haerin, holding it up to her lips first. She blinks, startled, but opens her mouth after a small hesitation. The chat explodes instantly.

"Did I miss an update?? Since when were they like THIS???"
💬 @ynhaerinupdate
"WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED???"
🔁 @haerinno111
"Haerin’s little hesitation before eating lmao she was definitely malfunctioning."
During a music show, while the members are waiting backstage, you casually walk up behind Haerin and rest your chin on her shoulder. The cameras catch the moment as she flinches slightly in surprise before relaxing against you. You don’t move, just standing there with your arms loosely draped around her. The staff members barely react, too used to your antics, but the fans? They lose their minds.
📌 @gay4haerin
"WAIT, Y/N AND HAERIN?? HELLO???"
💬 @haerinsoftie
"They act like a married couple and expect us to be normal about it"
🔁@kpopfangirl24
“Y/N and Haerin have been so touchy lately???”
During a variety show game, you and Haerin end up on the same team. Every time she gets an answer right, you don’t just cheer, you grab her hands and shake them excitedly, or wrap an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close in celebration. At one point, you’re so excited that you practically tackle her into a hug. She stumbles slightly, laughing, and the members tease you, but you don’t let go.
📌 @ynhaerin4life

🔁 @idkwhotostan
“Y/N and Haerin are so clingy In here, I need them to explain themselves IMMEDIATELY.”
On a phoning live, you’re seated next to Haerin, and for some reason, you can’t stop messing with her hoodie strings. You keep tugging them playfully, leaning in close whenever she tries to bat your hands away. Eventually, you give up on the strings and just rest your head on her shoulder instead. She freezes for a second, then lets out the softest sigh before tilting her head slightly so your temple rests against hers. The moment is short, but fans catch it instantly.
📌 @ynhaerin4life
"Haerin’s little smile when Y/N leans on her 😭.”
🔁 @multistan010
"Omg...do they know we can see them..?"
💬 @fuckhybeomg
"ARE WE ALL SEEING THIS?? IS THIS REAL??"
After a long day of promotions, the group films a short vlog in their practice room. You’re exhausted, so you naturally gravitate toward Haerin, flopping down beside her and resting your head against her lap. She stiffens at first, her hands hovering awkwardly over you before she hesitantly starts running her fingers through your hair. The fans don’t miss the way she tries to hide her smile, but the cameras catch it anyway.
📌 @haerinupdates
"SHE TRIED TO HIDE IT BUT WE SAW IT. WE ALL SAW IT."
💬 @idkiwannasleepsb
"DID YOU SEE THAT. DID YOU GUYS SEE HER SMILE!?"
🔁 @Y/nupdates
“Theyre not even trying to hide it atp. #YNsold”
🔁 @haerinwinning
"Y/N used to keep her distance from Haerin, now she’s acting like a lovesick puppy… what CHANGED???? 🤨"
📌 @ynhaerin_cult
"THEM. THAT’S IT. THAT’S THE TWEET. #YNSold #Theyremarriedsir"
💬 @minjynomg
"Miny/n shippers are in shambles rn"
Later that night, you scroll through the comments with a smug smile. Next to you, Haerin peeks at your phone screen, then flicks your forehead.
“Stop looking at those,” she mutters, trying to act indifferent.
You just grin, nudging her gently. “You like it, don’t lie.”
She huffs but doesn’t deny it. Instead, she shifts closer, intertwining her fingers with yours under the covers.

THE DOCTOR HEADCANNON — BEING HIS PLAYTHING.
harley sawyer ( the doctor ) x reader
tags/warnings: sfw (15+), light gore, torture/impact, power imbalance, degradation, abusive behaviour, posessive behaviour, kidnapping i suppose
sawyer is a HUGE jerk to everyone, including to his own little precious plaything, you. of course, such a cold, dense body made out of metal wouldn't make sense if it had a heart, wouldn't it?
besides.. your timid reactions to his sick, little experiments were what piqued his interest in the first place. what a lovely sight it is to see a flesh roaming around his prison like a helpess, pathetic rat who lost its way home. whether you writhe, yelp, whine, sob, or scream.. it's all melody to his ears.
he loves purposefully letting you escape from his lair, making you think that there's still hope to escape his hellish prison. just as you thought you were free of his grasp, he'll pin you, his beloved trophy, down—his mechanical figure hovering over you, eyes daunting as it pierces towards your cowardly ones, squeezing your neck tightly with his iron first, making sure that you knew there's no use fighting someone much stronger than you are. oh, how he loves watching the glint of hope fading from your pupils—dulling them with fear instead. he'd purposefully taunt you, mocking you with his laugh as it echoes through the hallways, "you really thought you could escape me, hmm? what an interesting thing you are, little rat."
oh, how he loves turning every single thing into a game that he knew you'd lose from the very beginning. it's amusing to see how you'd react time to time, whether you try to fight back or whimper out of fear, he feasts on it nonetheless. he'll purposefully make you play hide and seek with him, taunt you with his creaking footsteps, then having his way with you once he got his fingers wrapped tightly around you—dragging you into his lair once again as your fights and cries means nothing to him. "don't try to fight, little rat. i know you're at least smart enough to understand why."
don't get him wrong, though. just because he's able to leave cuts and bruises all over your delicate skin doesn't mean any of those filthy creatures roaming outside has the right to leave a scratch on you, not even a single one. oh, how sawyer wouldn't even think twice to rip appart the limbs off those past experiments who still roams in the area, who dares to touch you without any permission. you're his plaything, and only his. no one else.
the doctor wants you to DEPEND on him, just like how yarnaby depends on him and obeys him like a God. he wants your pathetic self to see him as YOUR lifeline, as he purposefully brings the necessities you need such as food and medicines, his mechanical joints placing them gently next to you without saying anything. afterall, he needs his little lab rat on good condition to play with, no?
at times where he's not running any 'experiments' and 'games' on you, he always kept you inside of his lab—no contact is allowed without his permission. he'd occassionally let yarnaby roam around and get used up to your presence, but he won't let you or it get too attached to each other.
he barely speaks to you, his answers are either mockery or straight degradation. you never really ask him anything about his motives too, he never liked it when you were curious. "say, little rat, i'd be amused if you hadn't learn what happens to curious little rats who gets too nosy."
a little fun fact; the doctor can easily destroy you if he wanted to. he always lets you know through his grips—how he's controlling it steadilly, letting you know that if he puts just the littlest more effort into squeezing you, you'd have your bones crushed within seconds—and he makes sure that you always remember that at all times.
"now, little rat, go on and amuse me. let's see what else i can get out off you."

OMG, OP!
I was just about to suggest "Now & Then "
but I saw it in your tags.
I'm so sorry this may look like an unhinged rant no one asked for, but someone has to tell people younger than me what I know, so I spent 2 hours crafting a reply/follow-up/addendum to you post, OP. Please forgive any formatting errors. I tried to keep things simple and engaging but a few things may look a little bit odd depending on what sort of device you're viewing it on. I couldn't take the risk of making all the text too small
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQLVzTtt2Ws
The biggest problem trying to find similar films is that they often involve at least two of the girls having some kind of relationship to boys causing drama (I'm looking at you, "Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants "... and others) whereas a film like "Dead Poets Society " is definitely in that pseudo-homoerotic and explicitly homoerotic range of storytelling.
Why do you think "Little Women" was popular for so long? It was the 1oth century literary equivalent with the requisite brush with death and loss so common to an era before even antibiotics existed... and loss and grief still happen today.
It's true that so few are like "Newsies " and "West Side Story ", but DON'T sleep on hits like "Annie" &
🥁 drumroll, please 🥁
Want to guess what was the first obviously gay song featured in a film from Hollywood (after the Hayes Code)?
The First Gay Anthem: Calamity Jane's 'Secret Love'
It's not "West Side Story " because it's a western frontier musical, and they skirted the lines as hard as they could to have a nice Christian young woman fancying a "tomboy": Calamity Jane (who by historical record seems to have favoured women and men).
Though based on American Western folklore, this premise clearly imitated the successful 1950 film version of Irving Berlin's Broadway musical Annie Get Your Gun, about Wild West sharpshooter Annie Oakley.
But instead of a make-over, Calamity Jane gives its tough-gal heroine a powerfully symbolic pistol; her masculine aggression plays with sexual identity through gestures enlarged to the point of farce. And then it goes deeper--into emotional confusion that grows from Jane taking on supposed male habits. Doris Day brings comic overstatement to Jane's complex repression of her own instincts. Like many a closet case, she exhibits a self-defeating willingness to fit into a male-dominated culture. Her tough mannerisms are also designed to protect her hidden, vulnerable emotions.
You have to dig.
Dig deep, and be willing to watch a film with a different spoken language and culture, but there are some parallels.
Consider the Britney Spears film, which I believe is called "Crossroad(s)" in English. [Sorry, I don't have time to look up the title.]
Now— what if there were a film that's something a bit like a lesbian equivalent?
Touch
A Chinese movie produced/sponsored by the sapphic dating app Rela. It follows three girls on a road trip. Chinese language with English subtitles.
I've never, EVER seen any website draw direct comparisons to other films that way, such as:
If you loved "She's The Man" but want it more sapphic (though ultimately thwarted by the producer), you can't miss "Bend It Like Beckham"!
The photo which was posted by OP DOES contain valid points!! (No one is going to treat you "like a man/boy" unless they truly think that's what you are, and society DOES socialise people differently, so: how would a group of teenage girls or very young adult women ever have experiences identical to those in a film like "Dead Poet's Society"?)
Nevertheless, there are some similar films that are comparable:
"Superbad" — "Booksmart".
I decided to hyperfocus trying to think up some equivalents to "Dead Poet's Society".
Here's a quick comparison I spent far too much time on:
If you’re looking for a Dead Poets Society equivalent with mostly female characters, a few films capture that same blend of deep emotional intimacy, artistic passion, and repressed desire. Here are the best contenders:
1. Mädchen in Uniform (1931 & 1958)
This is the OG queer boarding school drama. Set in a strict Prussian girls' school, it follows a young student, Manuela, who falls in love with her teacher, Fräulein von Bernburg. The film is explicitly homoerotic in a way that Dead Poets Society is only suggestive of—there’s longing glances, whispered affections, and a stifling environment that tries to crush individuality and desire. Like Neil, Manuela faces tragic consequences for daring to express herself.
Cracks (2009) — If Dead Poets Society were darker and more explicitly about queer desire, it would be Cracks. This film follows a group of girls at a remote British boarding school under the spell of their charismatic teacher, Miss G (Eva Green, in all her seductive, unhinged glory). When a new student arrives, power struggles and hidden obsessions unravel. It has all the repression, poetry, and tragic queerness you could want.
Heavenly Creatures (1994) — Peter Jackson (yes, Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson) directed this feverishly intense drama about two schoolgirls in 1950s New Zealand—Pauline and Juliet—whose bond becomes so consuming that it leads to murder. Like Dead Poets Society, it’s about breaking free from repression, but it takes a much darker turn. The homoerotic tension between the girls is undeniable, and the fantasy world they create as an escape mirrors the way the DPS boys use poetry to carve out their own space in a suffocating environment.
Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) — This one’s all about atmosphere—a haunting, dreamlike film about a group of girls at an Australian boarding school who mysteriously vanish during a picnic. While there’s no overt romance, the film is full of lingering touches, dreamy stares, and a pervading sense of longing and repression. The rigid Victorian setting and the contrast between the natural world and societal constraints make it feel spiritually connected to DPS.
The Falling (2014) — Starring Florence Pugh and Maisie Williams, this film is weird and hypnotic. It’s set in an all-girls school in the 1960s and follows a mysterious fainting epidemic that spreads through the students. It has the same themes of teenage rebellion, deep female friendships that tip into obsession, and an oppressive institution trying to crush individual expression.
Céline and Julie Go Boating (1974) — This is a more whimsical, surreal take on female friendship and creativity. It follows two women who fall into a bizarre, looping story in a haunted house, constantly re-experiencing and altering the narrative. It has a Dead Poets Society vibe in the sense that it’s about escaping rigid reality through art and imagination, but with a queer-coded, magical twist.
If you want the closest equivalent to "Dead Poets Society"...
..."Mädchen in Uniform" or "Cracks" are your best bets, and Cracks more than Mädchen in Uniform
because the latter is so old fashioned that to further scandalise viewers they paired a teacher with a student.
If you want something more poetic and atmospheric, "Picnic at Hanging Rock" or "The Falling" will scratch that itch.
If all of that is too gay for you (gofuckyourself, tee-hee)
You really, REALLY should try
"Mona Lisa Smile".
(...and if it's not too gay for you, then go watch CRACKS right now!)
"Mona Lisa Smile" [hereafter referred to as MLS] is often called the "Dead Poets Society" [hereafter, DPS] for women, and yeah, it certainly hits a lot of the same beats—
an outsider teacher inspiring students to challenge societal norms,
a prestigious school that values obedience over individuality, and
a group of young people grappling with expectations that threaten to suffocate them.
Where DPS is about breaking free through poetry and self-expression, MLS is about that sort of thing tosome degree, but more about feminism, gender roles, and the fight for intellectual freedom in a world that wants women to be just wives and mothers.
Similarities to Dead Poets Society
The Inspirational Teacher as a Catalyst for Change
In DPS, John Keating (Robin Williams) shakes up Welton Academy’s rigid, tradition-obsessed environment with poetry and passion.
In MLS, Katherine Watson (Julia Roberts) does the same at Wellesley College, using art history to challenge her students’ pre-ordained roles as perfect housewives.
Both teachers are NOT merely instructing— they’re awakening their students, making them see the world differently, and often doing so in ways that put them at odds with their school’s administration.
The Oppressive Institution and Its Ideals
Welton Academy is a suffocating prep school that values discipline over creativity, much like Wellesley College in the 1950s. They outwardly promote academic excellence but ultimately groom women to become ideal wives. (T_T)
Both films show how these institutions uphold deeply ingrained traditions that resist change, even when it's clearly needed.
Both films show some of the human cost of trying, and giving up.
A Group of Students at a Crossroads
Just like Todd, Neil, and the rest of the DPS boys who struggle between expectation and their own desires, the young women in MLS— Joan, Betty, Giselle, and Connie—each navigate their own battles between societal pressure and personal ambition.
Joan (Julia Stiles) mirrors Todd.
Betty (Kirsten Dunst) is like a mix of Cameron and Richard from DPS.
Giselle (Maggie Gyllenhaal) is the Charlie of the group.
The Tragedy of Repression
DPS’s tragedy is clear: someone's dreams are crushed & there is a heartbreaking su*c*de [all the trigger warnings apply]. MLS doesn’t have a singular moment that tragic, but its heartbreak is quieter—seeing some brilliant young women choose societal expectations over their own ambitions because it feels like the only option... that is definitely going to haunt some people more than it may haunt white cis-hetero male viewers.
In both films, someone (one you probably like most of all, in both films) will have something horrible happen to them by their own choice, and that is very haunting.
Additionally, I dont think it's too big a spoiler to say oth films end with the teacher leaving— but to say why would spoil the endings of the films.
The last scenes mirror each other emotionally: in DPS & MLS, a quiet, bittersweet goodbye with both endings suggesting that while the teacher is gone, the ideas they planted will live on.
Key Differences
The Central Conflict
DPS is about breaking free from repression through art and poetry. It’s about passion, self-expression, and the fight for creative freedom.
MLS is about that too, though with more of a (*cough*white*cough*cough*) feminist focus on gender roles, feminism, and intellectual independence to have intellectual and self growth as an individual— and it asks whether women can truly be free when they’re still expected to conform to outdated expectations.
Homoerotic "Sub"text
[be honest: if you miss it in either film you're in denial or unobservent and that is your own journey you need to take]
DPS is filled with homoerotic tension, especially between Todd and Neil. The intimacy between the boys—the longing glances, the whispered poetry, the emotional weight of their friendshipsfeels deeply charged.
If you DEMAND that level of queerness, MLS ain't it.
MLS has some queer subtext, particularly with [one character], who is coded as more fluid in her sexuality, but the film doesn’t lean into that as much as DPS does because it's focused more on the pseudo-historical narrative from the book upon which it was based.
Don't forget that DPS came out to cinemas...
THEN "The Craft" did,
THEN "Cruel Intentions" did,
THEN MLS.
DPS was intentionally pushing boundaries of censors for queer story-telling when the USA was still afraid for gay people to peck each other with a little kiss on the lips on television before 10 PM.
DPS ends in a tragedy that reinforces the cost of defying the system— [spoilers redacted], and the boys are [narratively] left in a state which leaves the viewers feeling a bittersweet limbo.
MLS is perhaps a bit more hopeful; and although the school seemingly remains unchanged, things in that world have definitely shifted for the characters.
Their worlds aren't fully transformed though for MLS, it’s beginning to open up, but MLS leaves viewers with their own bittersweet limbo like DPS[-lite] with a sliver of a dash of hope.
Final Verdict:
"Mona Lisa Smile" is "Dead Poets Society" through a differing feminist lens.
It swaps poetry for art,
an all-boys school for an all-girls college, and
queer-coded male friendships for female students fighting for their intellectual freedom.
It has the same spirit—
a teacher who inspires students to think for themselves, an oppressive institution trying to maintain order, and young people wrestling with societal expectations.
However, where DPS is a tale of tragic repression, MLS leans toward quiet rebellion— not a fiery "O Captain, My Captain" moment, but a slow, steady push toward change.
just saw this on pinterest and it hit me like a truck

The smell of cigars filled your home: you never thought you would deliberately find yourself smoking.
But there you were, looking at the cloudy skyline while you threw out the unhealthy smoke.
Your phone rang and you pulled it out of your pocket.
The ninth call of the day. Three times three is the charm.
“What the fuck do you want?” You neutrally ask, ignoring the beating of your heart.
“…y/n? Thank goddess you’re answering” You roll your eyes. “We need to talk, there’s a lot you-“
“Jeong-won, I don’t want to talk about anything with you” The exasperated tone in your voice doesn’t go unnoticed by him, which makes him feel even more stressed out. “In fact, I don’t want you to keep calling me. I don’t want you messaging me. I don’t want to have your follow on social media. I don’t want to hear your music in the clubs. I don’t want to ever fucking see your face again”
“Please, y/n. I don’t deserve to explain myself but-“
“I told you, you only had to pay for that dinner and forget about me. I suppose you didn’t mend things with your wife…” you abruptly cut him off, watching the smoke of the cigar fly out of your place.
“It’s complicated…” he sounds tired, sad and pathetic.
“Yeah… Everything’s that way with you. I just didn’t want to see it” you spit out, hanging up, leaving him to make a mess over the deadline.
You didn’t know how, but you would try everything just to forget him. But when you get out of the apartment the first thing you notice is the public trash can.
There lies the flower bouquet that appeared at your door three days ago. It had been Jeong-won’s first attempt to say sorry.
But so far it wasn’t working.
…
Three weeks into trying to move on. The first days felt like walking throwing a dark alleyway with no return. Tears always find a way to run out of your eyes, but you couldn’t deny, that you felt better.
Your friends helped a lot. Seoun-mi was the only one who said that if Jeong-won insisted, you could let him explain himself. Ruby and Jade immediately said no.
The spring was right around the corner. The rain was slowly coming to an end. The coats were being replaced with sweaters and cardigans. Even the sun cooperated, warming enough to make you go out to run.
Jeong-won crossed the street to walk towards his car. He had submitted a mini EP of music, expected to release mid-spring.
The city looked active, almost as if everyone had been trapped by the winter. He pulled out the keys to his car when he looked up.
His feet dragged him away, noticing a woman jogging down the street.
His face turned in awe after realizing it was you. Your matching grey tracksuit was hard to miss. He remembered you mentioned you were asthmatic, he wondered if you carried your inhalator.
“Y/N!” Jeong-won couldn’t care less if everyone stared at him as if he was insane. He started running hoping to get your attention.
His heart started beating so fast, the rush of seeing your face again, the hope of having you by his side again.
But that didn’t happen, you didn’t even listen. Music was playing so loud through your wireless headphones.
Jeong-won stopped running. He stared at your blurred vision and sighed in dismay.
His phone rang and he answered, still looking at you.
“Are you busy?” In-ji asked.
“No. I’m going home…” the man answered.
…
As the desperation started to burn you, the need to go out also grew stronger.
Ruby and Seoun-mi had seminars, and Jade had a meeting with her major advisor.
The outcome? You dancing all alone in a club.
You couldn’t go to the same one where you used to go. That’s where you met Jeong-won, it was too painful.
But as the alcohol sinks in, you start to feel tipsy, alerting you to stop drinking.
For a second you thought it was already too late but Han Jeong-won was actually there.
He gently pushed people to come to you.
There isn’t even time to feel angry, nervous, or panicked.
“What are you doing here?” You ask loudly.
“I came with a friend…” he admits, looking hopeful.
When you try to sneak away, Jeong-won grabs your wrist and pushes you against his chest. Only to then kiss you.
In his arms, you felt safe.
With his kisses, you felt cherished.
The man who urgently smashed his lips with yours in the middle of the dance floor while music blasted from the speakers was the love of your life.
He couldn't resist the temptation. Couldn't miss the chance and needed to let you know he always loved you. That everything was true.
"Please, believe me..." he pleaded, holding your hands.
"Fuck you, Jeong-Won"
Frivolously, you leave the taste of poison on his lips. His hand tried to grab yours again, but you slipped, leaving him.
Like you had already done before.
But it didn't make it easier, because tears started falling down the first step out of the club.
And in the middle of the cold night, you slip into your coat and start a quiet walk towards home.
You wished you knew he was mourning a life he had before you.
…
Caffè Americano…
The smell fills your nostrils and the warmth of the cup soothes the cold of your hands. Too many thoughts have run through your head over the days. And it was very rushed to say you were over Jeong-won. Walking through the same streets you once walked while feeling in love was devastating, as dramatic as it sounded.
But it’s a good day. You can feel like you are reaching peacefulness and it’s enough.
It’s been a month and a half since you last saw him. The world is not fresh, but it’s still open.
You walk out of the coffee shop, your boots sound with every step you take and the cool air makes the very few cherry blossoms in the trees fall.
Your eyes scan the street; everyone is just there living.
When would you start feeling like yourself again?
Apparently not at that moment. After coming down the little steps of the coffee shop, you look up and meet two people talking, just inches away.
Why was life so cruel? Why do you have to meet your ex-boyfriend and his wife right then and there?
They feel someone standing in their eyes, but they try to act so normal, like you hadn’t seen them. You start walking away. With firm steps and a well-hidden urge to run as well.
His hair looked the same, but his face looked less tired. She looked younger if that was even possible, with longer hair and more casual clothes.
Jeong-won and In-ji stare at each other awkwardly.
“Go after her” she softly tells him. Jeong-won stares back at her with unease before turning back his attention to you.
He knew you wanted to run away the moment you saw them.
“We already met once. What if we met again and she’s in the middle once again?” He can’t deny the anxiety growing as you stop waiting for the traffic lights to change.
“Jeong-won, perhaps we were really never meant to be together…” his face almost turns into a childish pout.
But maybe… In-ji was right.
She was kind, supportive and caring. She would’ve been a great wife. But their marriage started as a contract, Jeong-won never knew her completely.
He never felt the same way he did with you.
“We couldn’t even say ‘I love you’ to each other…” the woman admitted with a sad smile.
Then both turned to look at you.
“Go, explain her everything. And if we see each other again. It’s because we are meant to be friends. But that’s it…” Jeong-won almost felt his eyes turn glassy. But he nodded, gave Noh In-ju a brief kiss on the forehead, and literally started running towards you.
For a moment he thought about
You are still waiting for the green light when you hear him. You spot a cab and make him a sign to stop by you.
“Y/N !” When you look back, you see Jeong-won running, out of breath with his hand waving in an attempt to make you notice him.
You sigh, already feeling stressed out.
“This needs to stop. I can’t take it anymore!” You almost yell as soon as he ends up face-to-face with you. “I know it was just a coincidence and she’s your wife, but it’s not fair. I can’t do this anymore…”
You’re so mentally exhausted that you don’t even notice your eyes tearing up until the cool air makes you aware of the tears.
“Please, don’t cry. If you just let me explain… you and I-“
Boom. You explode…
“YOU AND I, NOTHING!”
It spills out of your mouth. The words even hurt you since you know it’s not true. People around stare but you don’t care.
“This is why I can’t go out anymore. I’m so scared that I will have to see your face again… “ his heart breaks, he can’t stand your tired and hurt tone, your burning cheeks, and your red eyes.
He wants to make it better but doesn’t know how.
“I never wanted to hurt you…” he admits with his broken voice and you find the strength to chuckle. “I will remember that when I’m gone…”
“You’re leaving?” Jeong-won finds himself panicking, already desperate to make you stay.
“If the office approves my petition, yes. I’ll leave in three weeks” his face goes pale. “And even after everything… I can’t hate you, Jeong-won”
Your cab arrives just in time, and you disappear without saying anything else. You don’t even look at him again.
And as the cab drives away, you begin to think about anything else. In hopes of forgetting about everything, starting with his face.
…
2:00 am…
You can’t sleep. It was the following night after a hangover day. Your friends almost cried, pleading you stay at least the rest of the semester. You hadn’t thought about leaving the apartment and all of the good memories built there.
You look through the open curtains at the skyline. The same crystal diving you from the city that once was your lullaby as Jeong-won hugged you and combed his fingers through your hair.
You were so sober that you even questioned if he deserved to explain himself.
What if he was in a bad marriage and he couldn’t get divorced but started seeing you? No… Then why did they look very happy talking to each other the last time?
What if he actually never meant to cheat on his wife but tremendously fell in love with you? No… He still cheated and never told you about it.
But he said he loved you.
And he looked sincere while doing so…
*beep beep*
Your phone makes you touch the ground again.
After hours of being in the dark, the light of the screen blinds you for a second.
Five new messages…
Jeong-won ♡
You never removed the heart beside his name in the contract.
Jeong-won ♡ ׂ╰┈➤
I can’t sleep again.
and not because I’ve taken
the pills again. I miss you like
you have no idea.
I know I hurt you despite not
wanting to. But as I said, it’s complicated.
Jeong-won ♡ ׂ╰┈➤
My first wife and I had issues.
She always wanted to
control me. We almost had a kid,
but we lost it and that shattered my
life once again. So she urged me
to sign a fake marriage, now I see
how twisted and stupid it is.
Jeong-won ♡ ׂ╰┈➤
I was so uncomfortable when this
new woman appeared at my place.
It was already a bad place
and it added up to my neglect. It was
never my intention to cheat on In-ji.
I was only being friendly
that night we met in the club. But the
more I heard you, the more I realized
how lonely I was. It was luck or a fluke
that you were in that burger shop
days after.
Jeong-won ♡ ׂ╰┈➤
I swear to you, y/n, that every
word, caress, and moment I shared
with you was real. Never in my life
I’ve been more sure about
feeling like this. I wanted to tell
you about the marriage, but I
didn’t know how. I thought that
no matter how much I tried to
explain, it would sound terrible.
I was so close to falling in love
with her. But thank goodness
I didn’t, because I would have
settled for so little compared
to you. The marriage contract is
over. That day you saw us together,
it was the first time I saw her
in months. She told me to go after you.
Jeong-won ♡ ׂ╰┈➤
I don’t think it’s enough
explanation. But I hope it’s
enough for you to believe me
when I say I truly love you.
I’m so sure I want to waste as
many years as needed as long as
you forgive me. Please don’t leave,
I need you. Even when I don’t deserve
it.

You don’t cry, you don’t panic, you don’t even blink. You just lock the phone and set it aside. Your eyes locked on the ceiling as you start drifting off, succumbing to sleep.
…
It could’ve been any other day. But it was raining when you decided to drop the final papers to withdraw from the study abroad program and return home. The apartment was a mess, half of it already packed up inside carton boxes and the other half resting as if nothing was happening.
The decision was not properly made, that was clear.
Your head was a disaster, a swimming mess.
Your life has been quite boring but comforting ever since you entered your teenage years. Never in your wildest dreams, you thought you would be stressing over a failed relationship where the man was married.
Three months after that embarrassing night at the restaurant, you are in a very different place and situation.
The rain has stopped, the sun peaks between grey clouds but the streets are still a wet mess.
You avoid the puddles of water that form across the sidewalk. Your cable earphones get tangled with the bunch of papers in your arms. It’s annoying until you slow down to take them off and hold the papers properly.
You bump into someone. The altercation being a little violent makes you almost fall to your knees, but the stranger holds your shoulders.
And the papers fall from your hands, drenching in the water.
“Fuck…” you whisper, hurrying to kneel, not caring that your knees get wet, you can only save the top papers. You see the hands of the stranger also trying to save them. That’s when you look up at the stranger.
Without a warning you end up smiling, Jeong-won smiles back at the instant. Both of you chuckle.
The half-drenched papers slip from your hands again, completely drowning in the puddle of water.
“Is it too late?” He asks.
“For what?”
“For begging you to stay with me…” your hands snake to grab his. He had a black turtleneck sweater and a jacket hanging over his shoulder. He looked painfully gorgeous.
You think about all those hours you spent re-reading his messages.
“I think you have begged enough” you reply.
Needless to say… you just know it was meant to happen.
Your arms lock around his neck and it’s you the one kissing him. Jeong-won mentally sighs, feeling relieved and renewed.
You can feel his arms embracing you tightly, as if scared you would slip away from him again.
Out of breath, he rests his forehead against yours, witnessing how the pain slowly washed away.
“It’s okay…” you almost whisper, he nods, briefly smiling. “Jeong-won, let's go home”
You knew he understood. Both of you knew home was wherever the two of you were together.
…
The heat was slowly building up. The windows started to remain open all day and night. Jeong-won was slightly stressed out, he had an upcoming trip and was in a mall, outside of a candle store.
His phone was almost burning when he realized the day was indeed hot.
“Jeong-won?” He turns only to encounter In-ji, smiling brightly at him.
“In-ji…”
His ex-wife appeared upon him, looking gorgeous. She looked happy, with her long hair now dyed chocolate brown.
“How are you?” He asked giving her a quick hug. “I haven’t seen you in… a long time”
It had been a year, to be exact.
“What happened with y/n?” She asks straight to the point and Jeong-won chuckles. “Why are you laughing?”
“It was bad… Remember?” In-ji nods, then he points at a woman squatting while looking at candles inside the store.
It was you, wearing a sundress that hunched over the floor. A purse hanging from your shoulder with many keychains. And when you stood up and turned to the side, In-ji noticed your left arm was also busy, holding a newborn baby.
“HAN JEONG-WON, YOU HAD A BABY?” the man starts laughing while nodding. “Oh my goddess! Congratulations!”
“I can’t believe it myself” he admits after accepting the hug In-ji gave him.
It felt nice to see her. She was right, they functioned better as friends.
“It’s a girl, right? What’s her name?” His eyes brightened at the subject.
Jeong-won had a baby with you…
“She has two names. June Iseul” the name of the baby rolled over his tongue and he found himself smiling again.
June Iseul was born in the peak of the winter, weighing and measuring less than expected, with matted raven hair and grey irises that were slowly becoming like yours but shaped just like her father’s.
“That’s adorable!” In-hi admitted, feeling awe at the sight of the baby in your arms, wearing a rainbow onesie.
“And I guess you married her?” Jeong-won huffed.
You never denied how June Iseul had been an accident. She came to slow down your academic career, she also made you gain weight and lose some hair but her arrival amidst winter gave you half a year to recover. You felt amazing and June Iseul was growing healthy.
Jeong-won was happier than ever. He was just a little worried about the reason why they were in the mall. Your parents were slightly mad and very confused as to why you left home being single and a full-time student and you were going to visit them being a part-time student, with a boyfriend and a baby.
Jeong-won was nervous, excited, and eager to marry you.
“Well… happens that y/n doesn’t fully believe in traditional marriage. I’ve asked her on multiple occasions but she keeps saying that we shouldn’t push it yet” Jeong-won admits rolling his eyes, she chuckles, turning her head to see you invested in the newborn section. “She’s very smart”
“She is…” he agrees, joining the chuckles and smiling like an idiot at the sight of you with his daughter.
“Well I didn’t have a baby, but I got married” In-ji revealed, making Jeong-won almost gag.
“What? When?”
“Two weeks ago. I met him in Thailand and… I don’t know. I’m just… very happy” Both smiled, feeling in peace knowing everyone had moved on. “I’m happy for you, Jeong-won. I can tell you are living a dream”
“I’m also happy for you…” both smiled at each other.
…
An hour later, you are done shopping and the most important thing is in your hands; a stroller for June Iseul.
Jeong-won pushed the stroller as both of you walked towards a pasta restaurant.
“It sucks that you got me pregnant before my twenties ended. I should be in the club!” you object, exaggerating. You can hear Jeong-won huffing in disbelief.
“You literally go out to the club every week!”
He was right. Your life pretty much remained the same.
“And that’s one more reason I love you so much”
Even with the arrival of June Iseul, Jeong-won had no problems with staying with the baby while you attended classes or decided to hang out with your friends. He used to have a lot of free time, but now… he found the perfect routine.
“What are we ordering?” He asks, grabbing a menu as you both wait your turn to order and pay.
“You pick the pasta and I want a pizza with truffle oil. What do you say?” You negotiate with a smile.
He gets so lost in your beautiful face that he ends up smiling back like an idiot.
“What?” You ask again, chuckling at his silly face. “Nothing, I just love you so much”
You blush. And before you can say anything.
You hear some coos.
“I’ll order, you pick a table and feed Junjun” Jeong-won reassures you, knowing very well his daughter was demanding and using the silly nickname he had given her.
You take a seat at a secluded table and turn the stroller so you can uncover it.
June Iseul was awake.
“Hello, little blossom” she smiled and it melted your heart. “I know you’re hungry…”
She was very small and soft. She had that baby smell but as her mother, you thought your baby smelled perfectly compared to the others.
She locked her eyes with yours as you breastfed her, not caring about the attention because your back was facing the world, and the table was secluded enough to cover you.
June Iseul’s pale skin resembled her father’s, making her look a little like a porcelain doll. Like the one your friend Jade gifted her from Japan months ago.
The doll was very sophisticated and rested along with some baby books and toys.
“Your father isn’t very good at conversations with strangers, right?” You ask your baby as you pull her out of the stroller and into your chest. Your boyfriend seemed to awkwardly be exchanging words with the woman taking the order. It made you chuckle.
After a long night talking and him telling you every single detail of his life, everything changed.
Just when he got a little house in a modest neighborhood and asked you to move in, you accidentally got pregnant.
What seemed like a challenge turned out to be easier than expected. Jeong-won had been the perfect partner all along.
Ignoring the judgment from your peers in classes after you waddled around campus with a baby bump, everything was perfect.
Also ignoring all the insults you threw to Jeong-won while he held your hand in the delivery room, everything was perfect.
So seeing him come with the receipt of the order and taking June Iseul from your arms to burp her made you realize how lucky you were.
How fucked up things were until they weren’t.
You have a boyfriend begging you to marry him and a perfect baby that looks like him. Both are in wait to visit your homeland and parents for the first time.
The flash of your phone pulls Jeong-won out of his trance with June Iseul.
“Are you taking us a picture?” he asks.
“Yes, you both look so adorable” you admit looking at the screen. June Iseul perfectly locked eyes with his father and you captured it in a picture.
You would print it, use it as your lock screen, and send it to your friends.
Ruby immediately replies in the group chat, then Jade, and lastly Seoun-mi.
Rubz <3 ׂ╰┈➤

trio of aunts 💋
You lock your phone with a smile on your face as you stand up.
“Where are you going?” Jeong-won asks.
“To wash my hands, silly” You lean forward to kiss him briefly and you can feel him smiling amidst the kiss.
It’s inappropriate but since the table is secluded, you feel playful enough to add tongue and have a little touch with his.
And then you remember your daughter is in the middle of you two and had just burped.
“She spilled some milk…” Jeong-won hurriedly says, breaking the kiss.
You chuckle and kiss your daughter’s matted hair.
“Then clean her, Jeong-won,” you say before leaving to finally wash your hands. As your steps grow further, you can hear your boyfriend talking in Korean with June Iseul.
“Your mother is a little spitfire. That’s why I want to marry her…”
There’s an embarrassing smile on your face when you look at yourself in the bathroom mirror.

Happy do you know where the Phan ship name originates? I assume it came from the fandom then was at some point acknowledged by Dan and Phil? Also why was it that they never tagged #Phan on their tumblr posts but mentioned it by name in vids? Ty x
blame user danisnotonfire
#anon ask#also someone did joke about possible ship names with dan in 2009 (but i cannot find that screenshot for the life of me rn)#like everything else phan became a “demon” word in 2012ish used only for the ship/dan talked about “phan” in negative context on tumblr#and then randomly in 2014 dnp decided it was fun and silly and started using it as a joke/saying it randomly in videos#(2015 haribo instagram you will always be famous)#the tagging thing is recent from 2 years ago when we decided to get back on the fandometrics ship list and started tagging phan#and then phil joined in bc he loves us and then dan joined in bc phil loves us#phan#dan and phil

COMING OFF OF A WIN blossomed hope in the players’ chests. The Raiders never stood a chance against the Bengals’ offense. Joe, albeit pissed, had a hopeful attitude. He was determined; they lost to the Ravens once and they wouldn’t do it again.
The game started swiftly, a touchdown for the Bengals and a touchdown for the Ravens. It was going to be a back and forth game, and as you watched, your anxiety had never been higher.
It was third quarter. It had been back and forth the whole game, and the defense wasn’t putting in the work they were supposed to. Your jaw worked, your hands tightened in how they crossed over your chest. You turned for a second, and you heard footsteps behind you.
You turned and was met with the hard body and padding of a Ravens player. You slammed back onto your back, a gasp leaving your throat. You gritted your teeth as your body writhed, as your legs shook.
You couldn’t move. You couldn’t breathe. Your vision blurred as your hearing was muffled. Being pummeled by a receiver who can’t stop when going out of bounds isn’t for the weak. Then you felt cleats dig into your skin, then you felt blood vessels pop in your bicep.
Joe was furious. His anger flared, his hands moving before his brain could. With a brutal shove, landing the Ravens receiver on his ass, Joe couldn’t keep his cool.
“Watch where you’re fucking going!” His voice raised, growling at the Ravens receiver.
“Joe Burrow got a mouth on him, huh?” the receiver taunted, and before Joe could take another step, before any of the other players could, the refs stepped in and called personal fouls on both teams.
“You actin’ like she your girl!” the receiver called as he was ushered back to his sideline. Joe’s anger was kindled, his skin hot with the sweetness of his anger. He didn’t see or hear anything besides the taunts of the receiver.
“Bro, bro, calm down,” Ja’Marr Chase pulled Joe from his trance, tugging him towards you. You were just sitting up, being helped up by another athletic trainer.
“Y/N, Y/N, you ok? Are you alright?” He asked, his eyes softening and his body relaxing. Your eyes weren’t exactly soft. You glared at him, shaking off the athletic trainer.
“What the hell is your problem?” you snapped, your voice hoarse, “getting a personal foul for almost starting a fight? Over an athletic trainer?” you were baffled, bewildered even, but you couldn’t deny how endearing it felt.
Joe’s nostrils flared. He knew eyes were on him, he could feel them. Everyone was watching him, and suddenly their gaze felt heavy.
You weren’t just an athletic trainer to him. You were more than that. But he couldn’t admit that. Not on the field.
“I can’t ask if you’re ok?” his tone was guarded, rough with the anger that still coursed through his blood.
“You have other things to focus on, Joe! You have a game to win, you have a team to lead!” you seethed. You coughed, a wheeze leaving your chest as you still fought to recover from the fact the wind was knocked out of you.
Joe didn’t know what to think. He let his guard down for one second and you immediately brushed him off. His jaw worked, his chest tightening. He wouldn’t argue, as much as he wanted to. He wanted to scream at you, to tell you the real reason why he was so concerned. But no. Maybe he should just let it go. Maybe he should just let you go.
“Fine, I guess I won’t bother to check in on you anymore,” he seethed, walking away from you. You rolled your tongue over your teeth, shaking your head. Your chest hurt, your back ached, but you’d be ok. You just had the wind knocked out of you, and your arm was stepped on. Being upset at him, at how he acted, it covered up the desire to curl into him, to let him protect you, make you feel better. It wasn’t professional.
—
The game ended in a loss. The frustration was hot, stringing between each player and staff member. You felt it too, and not because you felt the bruise blossoming on your back and how your arm throbbed.
It was late when you got back to the facility. You needed to finish some things before you went home, before you slept for 14 hours straight.
Your office was cool, the darkness of it enveloping you as you walked in. You used the flashlight on your phone, walking to the lamp on your desk, turning it on.
Every muscle in your body ached. Your chest still hurt, your arm was killing you, and your back ached. You felt like you’d been hit by a train. You gingerly sat down at your desk, running a shaky hand over your ponytail as you opened your laptop to submit a report.
A knock on your office door made your eyes flick up, and you didn’t even get the chance to ask who it was before they walked in.
“What are you still doing here?” you asked Joe, your voice hoarse and her eyes raking over his figure. He looked exhausted, both emotionally and physically.
“I’m not done having that conversation from earlier,” Joe snapped. He’d been wrestling with your words, with his own feelings about you that he couldn’t find the ability to feel tired. His body was aching, his mind was sluggish, but damnit he was going to force you to understand something.
“Well I was,” you snapped back, shutting your laptop lid. Joe could see the ugliness of the bruise on your arm, how each small bruise from the spikes on the cleat made up a large, ugly, bruise. He sucked in a breath, refraining from asking if you were ok.
Because apparently you didn’t want him to do that.
“Well I’m not,” he sounded like a stubborn toddler, and how he crossed his arms over his chest further solidified that.
“You really need to be going home, Joe. You shouldn’t be here,”
“Why? I need to be out on that field, practicing every damn second so we don’t lose to such a vital team again,” he argued, stepping further into your office. His skin was sunkissed perfectly, his hair curling from the water of the shower he took. He looked so comfortable, and she held back the desire to curl up against him, to feel his body heat.
“You need rest, that’s what you need,” you told him, putting your laptop in your bag. You weren’t going to talk about the fact that he slung his arm around you weeks ago, how he looked at you with such concern today, well yesterday. It was cutting into the early hours of the morning.
“So do you,” he charged, his expression rough, but his eyes reflected a softness that you hadn’t seen before. Only when he looked at you.
“I’ll get rest, stop worrying about me,”
“I always worry about you, Y/N!” he shouted, and the words hung in the air, they hung around your necks and they choked you.
“Joe-”
“Especially after you got run over by a player tonight, but no, I can’t even ask if you’re ok,” He was upset, and his emotions from the game, from how poorly they did, they spilled over. His walls were down and he was so close to confessing that he had fallen for you.
“That’s not what I said-”
“That’s what you implied!”
“Let me talk!” you shouted, your eyes hard and wide, a fire building within your gut. Your mind was racing, your body was thrumming with the tension that was choking both of you. He worried about you. Why? Why did he worry about you? Did he have feelings for you?
The idea that he could have any sort of romantic feelings for you made your heart flutter. It gave you butterflies and ignited a sweet excitement in you, but you swallowed it. You couldn’t even entertain the thought of being with Joe.
“You can ask if I’m ok, that’s not what I was implying. You just did something stupid, and it pissed me off! That’s why I didn’t answer you, that’s why I didn’t even entertain that idea!” Your voice was raised, but it was controlled. You watched your words permeate through Joe’s body, how he processed them. He had a lot more to say, you could see it in how his eyes flicked over your face, how his hands were bunched into fists at his sides.
“Did you expect me to just let him get away with that?” He asked, taking a step forward, his hands flexing at his sides.
“Yes, Joe! Someone else would have handled it, and maybe you wouldn’t have gotten a personal foul!”
“You’re worth getting a personal foul over!” He shouted again, and his words choked you. You stood there, your eyes wide and your body rigid. That sweet excitement tingled your chest, it made your heart skip a beat. It was a childish hope that he returned your feelings, but maybe he was just getting a rise out of you.
“You need to go home,” you told him, your voice calmer. Your breaths came out in quick puffs, your nerves eating your stomach up.
“Y/N-”
“Go home, Joe. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you,” your voice was rough, hoarse from your yelling and the tightness in your chest.
He looked at her, observing how her eyes dialed in on him, how her body stiffened with his confession. He hadn’t meant to say it out loud, and it wasn’t even a full confession. He swallowed, his hands shaking at his sides. His anxiety ate at his chest; he felt stupid.
“Can I at least explain?”
“You can explain after you get sleep,” you snapped. You didn’t want to be this uptight with him, to be this closed off, but the best way to combat feelings for him was to shut him out, to make him forget about you.
“I don’t want to do that,”
“Stop arguing with me,” you snapped, grabbing your bag, starting to walk towards the door.
“Y/N-”
“Stop, Joe. This is entirely unprofessional, and I thought you’d respect that,” you snapped, opening your door and gesturing for him to leave. Joe’s chest tightened, his eyes swam with conflict. He had so many questions that he’d never get the answers to. But one was obvious to him: you’d never return his feelings.
His shoulders slumped, his hands were shoved into his pockets to keep himself from shaking, and he brushed past you. Your eyes momentarily closed, feeling the heat of his body mull over you, the sweet scent of his cologne waft over your senses. You bit your lip, feeling the sting of tears in your eyes.
He wasn’t even yours and now he’d never be.

hey so…i get the frustration here. i do. but many people in the tags on this post are saying a lot about how posting a full fic, no readmore, on tumblr is a good way to make fandoms hate you. to make people skip over your fic. to discourage people from reblogging it, etc
most of these fics are like…1k words or less, by the way. which is significantly shorter than the infamous do you love the colour of the sky post. shorter, too, than a lot of the comics i see passed around on here, in fandom spaces or otherwise. and the reality is - no one is reblogging fics whether they have readmores or not
what i’m seeing on this post is something i’ve witnessed more and more of over the years on tumblr, which is a general belief that fanfiction doesn’t really belong on tumblr. post links, sure - but ao3 is “the fanfiction site.” so we engage with fics there. why should we reblog them on tumblr? and if you’re only posting on tumblr, well - that’s your problem, isn’t it? never mind that some people might just prefer to post on tumblr because it’s what they’re comfortable with
the problem with readmores is that if someone’s account is deactivated or terminated, the links break and that fic becomes completely inaccessible for everyone going forward. if that fic was only ever posted on tumblr…well, it’s gone forever now. and that really, really sucks. so yeah, scrolling by a wall of text you’re not interested in can be annoying - but maybe we need to look a little deeper into the implications of our irritation, rather than saying “i love you fic writers…but you really suck and actually i kind of hate you when you do things that inconvenience me”
if you're posting a whole fanfiction to tumblr you've got to put it under a readmore boss
#taylor.txt#i use readmores btw but thats only because atp i DO crosspost everythinng to ao3#i lost SO many of my old fics when i moved accounts on here and i learned from my mistakes#but there are genuinely good reasons not to crosspost on ao3 for many people#also i think we should keep in mind that tumblr’s original function is…a blogging platform#back in the day nobody used readmores because everything was just a blog post#im going to be honest i think a lot of you guys have lost your way to modern social media#which rewards you for scrolling fast and only stopping briefly to like Nice Images Or Videos#respectfully…get over it. or go use desktop where there are keyboard commands that can jump over long posts#or hell idk. block and move on. you clearly weren’t going to read that person’s fics anyway

This is a shoot off of the amazing @beloveds-embrace designationless!reader au! All credit for this A/B/O AU goes to her and go give her support!!!
Based on this specific scenario
Cw: Heavy angst, medical torture, inaccurate medical things, very little comfort
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe it was the way no one noticed you when you walked into the room that made you think you were normal. Maybe it was the way people around you edged away, put off by your lack of scent. The way everyone looked at you with pity.
You didn't want that. Your entire life you had just wanted to fit in. You wanted to be someone that someone else loved.
Maybe it was your family that was the root of the problem, the ones who separated you from your siblings who were all normal. The family that never let you into their mest, claiming your lack of scent, would destroy the atmosphere. That family ignored you, never responding to you. The ones who left to grasping for a relationship, only to realize you would never have one because you were less.
"I've noticed the way people edge away from me, the way they stare! I'm not normal, and this is my chance!" Desperation edged in your voice. "I just- it would be easier this way!"
Johnny chewed on his lip, "easier for who? We all accept you for you, lad."
"This procedure, it's downright inhumane," Simon adds, his brows furrowed as he looked at you, as if truly seeing /you/ for the first time. The scared child you were, wanting to be normal. "It changes you on a base level - I could kill you, dove. It's barely even out of its testing phase."
You sighed. Weren't you allowed to be selfish for once, to want?
"I know," Your voice is quiet but resolute, mind stuck in its decision. "But I want it."
John looks at you. Kyle looks between you and John, eyes full of nervousness. His arms were crossed, looking down his nose at you.
It reminds you so much of the look your dad would give you, the few times he was forced to interact with you.
"No - I won't allow you to get this procedure," John's voice almost rings in your ears. Out of all of them, you thought he might be able to understand.
Of course you were wrong.
You pull away from them, eyes burning. Your mind was made up, it had been since the moment the idea was out into you.
The pack just looks at you with sad eyes, as if understanding the pain you have lived with. As if they could ever understand the feeling of looking into a world, living in it for short amounts of time, but never really belonging.
~
It's weeks later, but you finally have your appointment. You hadn't told anyone about it, you didn't want them to worry.
It had to be fine, right?
~
It hurt, so bad. Pain sang throughout your body, needles sticking out of your skin, and probes stuck with adhesive. You screamed in pain but no one was coming.
You had checked in alone, even told the nurses you didn't want visitors.
No one soothed the pain like Simon did, no one cooed comforts into your ear like Kyle. John and Johnny weren't there to ground you. You were alone, packless.
And only had yourself to blame.
~
It started out small, the loss of sense in your fingers and toes. The doctors assured you it would come back, even if their voice was condescending. Like talking to a child.
(Simon and Kyle would've tag teamed together to massage feeling back into them - They had once, when you feel through ice on a frozen lake.)
You were constantly tired now, something you chalked up to the amount of tests you had been put through the few days you were checked in.
(John would always purr to help you sleep, a commodity you missed. You wished he was here.)
The hunger was easily explained, the staff did forget to bring you food but you didn't want to bother them. They probably forgot because you still had no scent and were easily overlooked. You didn't blame them.
(Johmny would've never forgot, he was always making sure your plate was piled high.)
~
Everything was blurry now, your sight starting to go. Another temporary side effect someone assured you. You couldn't remember whose voice it was.
But it didn't matter, a scent was starting to form. You were going to be normal soon. And even if your body was in constant flight or fight, you were going to fit in.
The way the doctors were seemingly cruel didn't matter. The way the nurses purposefully took more blood to keep you dizzy and compliant was suddenly okay.
You didn't need to know the more your pack pleaded to be with you, the crueler they were. You didn't need to know it was an enemy in disguise, slowly killing you to get back at your pack. The "scent" was just a chemical by-product of your body reacting to all the medications it was being put through.
It would stay, of-course, you might even present with a second gender if it went on long enough.
You didn't need to know so they didn't tell you.
~
Time was getting hard to keep track of. Your sight was nearly gone, and your wounds were slow to heal. Every day was pain. You started to forget why you checked in.
~
It was harder to move now. Your limbs refused to respond to your commands. They were heavy and your mind was too clouded to question it.
Your scent was turning sickly and almost sweet. As if prepping itself for a reactionary heat.
~
The next time you came to, you didn't know what was happening. You could hear shouting and a monotone sound. You felt like you were floating.
That should worry you, you think.
Eletricity rakes your body suddenly, and you're grounded again. Sightless and unable to move. Pain wracking every thought that appears.
You lose yourself to the inky darkness again. Unable to place the fact that you could smell other's scents now.
~
More shouting. These voices were more familiar. It almost sounded like your pack but that couldn't be right, could it?
Hadn't they left you? Or had you left them? You couldn't remember, your mind too slow. You wanted to know, though.
You're able to force a small whine to leave your throat, the first sound besides screaming you had made in what felt like months. There's loud footsteps as someone rushes to your side.
"It's okay, it's okay, we've got you, lad," a familiar voice says. He smells like the ocean and the smoke that comes after an explosion. You like it, it wraps around you like a blanket. "...christ- look at 'em- what've they done to them?"
"We'll figure it out later, for now, its time to go," Another voice says, roughened by what you can assume is years of smoking. He smells like high-quality cigars and soft cedar wood, like the ones surrounding your house when you grew up. "Guns up, we go out blazing."
A new person picks you up, your body immediately curling into him. He smells like petricor and bourbon, tinged with cigarette smoke. He doesn't say another but you decide you like both of the new scents.
A hand smoothes your hair. The last person, he smells like ozone and the forest. You can't describe it, but his voice is low and soothing when he says, "we'll get you home sweets."
And that's the last thing you know before you lose yourself again. Comforted by people you can't remember but you were obviously important to them.
~
It takes months to heal in a normal hospital. Your sight still hasn't fully returned, but glasses help.
So does your pack. While the procedure somewhat worked, your scent came and went. You were more normal than before and even if everything hurt now and you had to do physical therapy, you felt like you belonged.
When you were first admitted, your body had gone through a heat. It presented as an omega, but that was the only instance of it. The staff had you on regular blockers now until your new hormones stabled out. It felt okay, for now.
That didn't change the hurt and all you went through, but it would be okay.
Especially when you were curled up in a temporary nest with your pack in the hospital.
SVT when you're shy to take off your clothes
Requested? Yes!
Request: Ot13 s/o being extremely shy and awkward about showing their naked body for the first time but also wants to have sex? Is it okay? If not, I'm sorry and you can ignore it. Have a lovely day btw!’
Concept: The relationship is relatively new and as you start becoming more intimate, you pull back the moment it means taking off your clothes.
TW/CW: barely suggestive, but minors use caution. Added a smut tag just because of the context.
So, so, so patient - Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan
He’s in no particular hurry, and when you pump the brakes on something like taking off clothes, he takes it as a simple sign that you’re not ready to continue. There are really no words exchanged in those moments, he just backs off with zero bitterness, going back to cuddling and such. If you ever seem frustrated by it, I think you’ll have to be the one to bring it up. I think he just wants you to be comfortable and he won’t bring it up out of fear of it seeming like pressure. He’d probably feel that you’ll do it or talk about it when you’re ready and that’s that.
Really comforting in those moments - Seungcheol, Hoshi, Woozi, Minghao, Vernon
He reads your hesitancy and your frustration well, and he’ll pull back and shift the tone back to something more innocent. Like, if you were in his lap, he’s just wrapping his arms around you to hold you close and kiss your cheek. He’d hate it if you apologized for something like this and would assure you that he’s not in a hurry and he’ll love it just as much later. It’s all sweet words and touches that would really make you believe that that’s not the end goal. But if you express that you have some anxieties about it, he’d be equally comforting about it.
Just straight up asks about it - Jun, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Chan
Now please don’t read this as a group that would pressure you. I think they’d be so gentle about it, while simultaneously being more direct about it than the previous groups. He’d sit you down the day after you pull away again and ask to get on the same page regarding intimacy. What are you comfortable with? What’s your experience level? What are your concerns? I think it could be a hard conversation, but it would be so valuable because it allows him to put your mind at ease. He’s not in a hurry, but he thinks that most of the things you’re worried about are unfounded considering how much he cares about you.
Thanks for tagging me @edgarpoeandkarl
(petals of rhododendron taste good)
Oh boy, that’s gifted kid burnout if I’ve ever seen it. You chose to go into academia, and you enjoy learning, but at this point you have to force the dedication you have. You have niche interests and the way you show love is by sharing knowledge. You may look outwardly like you have your shit together, but inside you are in emotional turmoil. Take some time for self-care, it’s not actually effective to stress about everything, you’re only making things harder on yourself. I promise you, it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s also okay to rely on other people and let people in. You’re not a machine, you can’t keep on going endlessly. When you were a child, did people often “compliment” you for being so mature? Those weren’t compliments, you had to grow up too soon. Get in touch with your inner child, I swear that it’s healing. The people that are meant for you will be there when you're messy. I believe in you
