anyway i kinda figured out wat puzzled me abt lifestyle lolita n how hard it is for me to really achieve it. well.
#i was thinkin of it in terms of modern lolita with all the high teas n meets @ fancy distinguished places (most often). don me wrong#i like those#but i realised it feels kinda out of place for old school since at the very heart lolita is a street fashion dat#was predominantly worn really jus to go out n have fun with others#quite literally jus in the streets of tokyo#or attend a concert#or any kinda casual hangout spot#it was really jus. Put on pretty extra clothes -> Go outside#which is the same i treat lolita really#i love fancy special places n events but i cant see it as a must...#but yeah i feel much homier with jus casual stuffs especially cuz old school is often much less accessorised & reads as casual by default
