Astrology Observations 🤍
Tumblr media
Please do not repost on any other social media platforms 🤍
The 12th house also rules ‘bed pleasures’. So, it’s not uncommon for people to start having more sex when the sun, mercury or venus transits their 12th house.
Having Sagittarius on the 8th house cusp can be very auspicious when it comes to receiving inheritances, as sag is a sign that is ruled by Jupiter. Some may argue that the same can be applied to having Pisces in the 8th house cusp, as Pisces is ruled by Jupiter in traditional astrology. However, I personally don’t love that hazy/illusive Neptunian effect on the 8th house.
People who have the ruler of their ascendant placed in the 12th house, may find themselves going through extended periods of isolation at some points in their life. An example being, a person who struggles with a chronic illness that means they have to be hospitalized for some time. Alternatively, someone who goes to solitary confinement (jail) etc! Please note that these are the most extreme examples of this placement! But I just wanted to give a general idea of circumstances that may lead someone to be isolated from others.
Having the ruler of your 10th house (midheaven) placed in your 3rd,4th, or 5th house can manifest as working with family members/in a family business. The 3rd for working with cousins/siblings. The 4th (mother/members of the household you grew up in) and the 5th can be working with your children.
Those who have mercury square/opposite Jupiter may often get a bad rep for ‘lying’ or stretching the truth at times. Sometimes, this is not even a conscious thing that these people do. Many of them are prone to over exaggerating, but it’s not necessarily motivated by malice.
So we know that Saturn rules over the bones/teeth. Interestingly, I’ve observed that Capricorn and aqua placements typically have really good/healthy teeth, or they have to continuously do dental work, because they have major teeth problems.
Having the ruler of your 7th house placed in your 12th house is also another indication of potentially having a foreign spouse. This is because the 12th house also represents ‘faraway lands’.
Saturn transiting your 6th house can also be a time in which you may experience weight loss. This transit truly can manifest in a variety of ways. You’re likely going to be taking a good look into your daily routine, and health habits during this time. Many people adopt a new diet/workout regimen at this time. However, sometimes the weight-loss may be the result of an unexpected illness/sickness, so you need to be taking good care of yourself during this transit.
Some of the worlds biggest/most ‘iconic’ musicians have Pisces in their big 3 (or other personal planets) and a neptunian influence on one of the angles. Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, Ariana grande, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Prince, Rihanna, Kurt Cobain are all examples. Please note this is not a list of my personal favs, Just a few musicians who have/had a huge fan base/success in their careers.
Since Taurus rules the throat, it’s not uncommon to see people who have 2nd house mercuries or even venuses be vocally gifted.
Venus square Venus synastry can be very frustrating. Especially when it comes to the square between fixed signs, as neither will want to ‘budge’ when it comes to their love languages. One person may value acts of service, and quality time, whereas the other person prefers physical touch and words of affirmation. It’s not impossible to navigate, it can just cause annoyances. Compromise is the best way to navigate a Venus square Venus in synastry.
I absolutely love seeing one persons Venus making a conjunction to another persons ascendant in synastry. This is such a great physical attraction indicator. Obviously you’d need more positive aspects for the relationship to work out/last, but the Venus person often sees the ascendant person as their ideal physical type!
Mars in the 4th house in a synastry overlay can make it difficult for two people live together. They may be frequent conflicts, and the 4th house person may feel as if the mars person is disruptive and a bit chaotic. The 4th house also represents our emotional core. So, the mars person may unintentionally upset the 4th house person quite frequently.
A solar return year in which your solar return rising sign, is in the same sign of your natal rising sign is said to be a very important year in your life! The events that occur this year are likely to have a profound impact on your life for years to come.
It’s very common to move when your solar return rising sign is in the same signs as your natal 4th house cusp. This is especially true if Uranus is in the 4th house, or aspecting the 4th house that year!
Astroseek has a midpoint calculator if you would like to see what you strongest midpoints are! I find them very fascinating as they add a different layer to our personalities! For example, if you have the “Venus=Mars/Pluto” midpoint as one of your strongest, you know that you’re inclined to be a very sensual individual! There is a magnetism about you, that draws people to you very easily. You have a natural sex appeal, and other people may perceive you to be a very sexual person (and this is likely true). This midpoint also denotes major financial success!
Having the ruler of your 7th in your 9th can suggest that you may meet your future spouse abroad or whilst you are attending college!
People who go “viral” on social media, likely have prominent 3rd, 10th, and 11th house placements! The chances of you going ‘viral’ are also increased when you have major transits occurring in one of the houses listed above!

1. Jungkook’s fans
2. His own logo under the song name
3. And link that leads to “sign up for updates from Jung kook and bts”
So Jk as soloist is established
Before I just wondered whether they would disband or not. Sorry, now I want it. Interesting, how 6 others are doing right now…
Let's dig in!
Hopeless. Best to ignore them. Also, if Jungkook's music really resonates with them, great! Buy it, listen to it, whatever. I hope eventually ARMYs will stop supporting everything the members release out of obligation and actually consume what they think is good/to their individual taste. Otherwise, be ready for more Permission to Dance and Yet to Come-type songs.
Yeah. Look, HYBE didn't invest $100 million plus into JK's solo career for nothing. Expect to see way more of this as time passes, especially once they're out of the military. I know the trademarked label gets under people's skin, but remember that the trademark is owned by HYBE, not Jungkook! The company makes money off his merchandise first and foremost. Meanwhile, Jimin's dad/family keep all the revenue generated from ZM-ILLENIAL products. Let's hope they get international shipping up and running ASAP because buying directly from them is a much better alternative to support Jimin rather than filling HYBE's coffers with streams, music purchases, and Jimin-related merchandise.
As some smart person wrote on Twitter today, the fandom is slowly being conditioned to replace BTS with Jungkook.
Jungkook's solo career started several years ago. When he stayed behind in New York to record Left & Right with Charlie Puth it was obvious which way the company was moving. And man did he look happy. I've been watching JK's facial expressions throughout Chapter 2 hoping to see some signs that he might feel bad about the extra push, the fraudulence, the unfair treatment to the others, but I don't see it. I think he feels no guilt whatsoever. I'm not necessarily surprised because he strikes me as a pretty immature guy - especially once he started doing those lives from his apartment. He's a kid. What does surprise me is the complete lack of response from the others. Do they really not care? Are they ready to move on to their own projects? Maybe it's a relief to let JK be responsible for bringing in the cash for the company while they go off and do their own thing?
I was way too invested in this JM/JK solo situation as it first rolled out. The SEVEN posters across the globe, even the name of the song itself, made me so mad. Then I saw the leaked footage of Jimin and Jungkook on that boat in Connecticut and Jimin's big grin, and I realized being a member of BTS is just a job. The members are colleagues, they work for BigHit, which is a subsidiary of HYBE, whose chairman is Bang Si-Hyuk. It’s not that serious. Let it go.
Speaking of letting go. I sincerely hope that some day Jimin is represented by a different label. I hope his future trajectory is that of an indie artist and not a mega star. I want him to stay true to his values and artistic vision. I don't care if he's not a household name. I desperately wish people would stop mass streaming his music and obsessing about chart placement, but I understand why they do and I'm not judging. But he himself continues to insinuate he's not making his solo music for the charts or the money or the fame. He seems far more focused on putting out a good product. God, that must drive BSH CRAZY given how obsessed he is with all of those things.
My final thought is this. The day Jimin's fans stop comparing his stream counts, album sales, awards, and paid media play to Jungkook’s is the day Jimin is finally free! I hope fans can find a way to love him for his talents rather than his metrics. JK and JJKs can keep that shit for themselves.

hi!! i love reading your posts and i love your oc of thranduil others sons! i sent this before but i don’t know if it sent correctly, but do you think thranduil would have been different if he had daughters? and would he have been more overprotective of his daughter than his sons? (im sorry if this isn’t clear my english is very bad) again i love your fanfictions so much
Hello my Anon friend! <3 I am answering this Ask quickly, because you did ask me this previously and I'm sorry it has taken me a while to respond. (I have a growing backlog of unanswered Asks--eep! Working on it!)
Most writers who decide to give Thranduil additional children opt to give him at least one daughter. To be honest, I don't have a very good excuse for deciding to give him only sons. (I myself have 2 sons and no daughters, so maybe I was being prophetic? LOL.)
I personally don't believe Thranduil would be necessarily more protective of daughters than sons. Regardless of gender, he has a unique affection for each member of his family, cherishing and bonding with each one according to their individual qualities. He will be more protective of whoever is in greater need of protecting.
Being a Protector is perhaps the most prominent aspect of Thranduil's character, and this extends to everyone and everything he views as under his care. His family, his people, his kingdom, his forest. (ex. He threw Thorin and Company behind bars for potentially endangering his citizens!)
Tumblr media
But how would Thranduil treat his daughters, if he had them?
Although he has no daughters in the SotWK AU, you can deduce how he would treat them in the way he absolutely treasures his female relations: his wife (Queen Maereth), his daughter-in-law (my OC, Crown Princess Itarildë, Prince Mirion's wife), and granddaughter (my OC, Princess Anariel, Mirion's daughter). Here are examples from the SotWK AU:
Thranduil was willing to give up his birthright for Maereth. He defied his father and the lords of Greenwood to make her his Queen. He does not hide her Feanorean lineage, and values the inclusion of her Noldorin culture in his household. He calls her by Quenyan endearments, and their sons call her "Ammë" (Quenya), instead of "Naneth" (Sindarin).
Itarildë is a warrior descended from great warriors, and Thranduil views her as equal to his sons. He welcomes her participation in battle alongside him and the princes, showing great respect for her skills. He also risked political strife by allowing Mirion to wed yet another Noldor.
His granddaughter Anariel is his "baby" (even when she is fully grown) and has the least amount of fighting ability in their family, so Thranduil constantly worries for her safety. However, he still permits her to travel outside of Mirkwood during the "dark days", and does not try to curtail her freedoms. (He is actually more protective of her brother, Crown Prince Aranion, since he is the heir to the throne!)
Basically, I would like for any readers/followers of the SotWK AU to know and understand that Thranduil would be the best father-in-law ever to anyone who wins the hand and heart of any of his sons. Just in case you needed extra incentive to love a Thranduilion Prince. ;)
Looking forward to showcasing this some fics soon!
Thank you for the question Anon, and for your lovely words of support! <3

Headcanons: Kiara the Polyglot
Learning Languages
Tumblr media
• Both Theron siblings grew up learning French, Darija and English pretty much from the cradle. Joëlle and Hakim spoke often in these languages at home, they sang lullabies, whispered soothing phrases, read out books to them.
• Greek and English were the national languages of Cordonia. Joëlle and Hakim made these tongues a more prominent part of the kids' childhood when they reached 3 and 4 years of age. In this way, all members of this Great House are fluent in four languages regardless of interest and ability.
• They used the OPOL (one person, one language) strategy with all four languages but especially with Greek and English. There were close friends who were regularly involved in the Theron household and work, and who agreed to speak only in those specific languages to increase Ezekiel and Kiara's comfort with them. While the parents themselves continued to speak French and Darija.
• Kiara's interest in learning more languages began, indirectly, through her father. Hakim was a huge fan of the Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum. Her most famous love song, Alfi Leila w-Leila, was one that Hakim claimed always reminded him of Joëlle.
• Often, while sitting with her Baba, Kiara would notice that the Arabic he was listening to sometimes sounded a bit different from the Darija she was used to. Logically at 7 years, she was old enough to know that different places spoke the same language differently...but it wasn't until she connected the dots post a lovely Umm-Kulthum listening session that she realised what that meant. She lost no time trying to learn different dialects of Arabic after that.
• Later on, she would try to do the same for French too. As an adult, when she meets Lady Esther DuPont of House Beaumont, who was born in Louisiana, she would be very interested in the French Esther had learned growing up.
• Other languages like Italian, Spanish, Turkish, German, Amhiric, Swahili, Mandarin, Dutch and Japanese Kiara learned through various sources. All kinds of music would be played in the house and Kiara found that music and watching regional dramas really helped to understand vocabulary and speech.
• Telenovelas, for example. The reactions were often so huge and larger-than-life that it was almost impossible for Kiara NOT to identify words that elicited those reactions the most! Which is why Kiara often says, "I love people being dramatic in languages I don't know! You'll come out knowing at least 10% of the language that way!"
• While the Therons kept an interpreter around on foreign trips like every other noble did, they always made sure the kids would be familiar with at least essential phrases and vocabulary. Hakim always told Kiara that the local people can always tell when someone is a tourist - so when that tourist makes the extra effort to interact with them in their mother tongue, that effort holds great value.
• This was true. Kiara was known all over Cordonia for being a real charmer abroad, and many stories were spread about how glad people in other countries were when this little girl tried to speak to them in their language.
• After her marriage to Hana and mastering Icelandic, Kiara takes the opportunity to learn Farsi.
Translation
Tumblr media
• There's a home theater system in the Castel residence with a library of films from the world over. Even when she understands the language well, Kiara still prefers to have subtitles on. As she grows older she watches certain movies on repeated rewatches just so she can figure out how far the translation captures what is being said and identifies the gaps.
• Translations begin to fascinate Kiara around the age of 14.
• She kept editions of Le Petit Prince in at least 3 languages and could sometimes be found looking at them side by side
• What she loves most when she watches film subtitles is to figure out where a language-specific idiom or proverb is being used by a character, and the subtitles say something close to the meaning of the phrase because it doesn't entirely translate well directly.
• Her first translation project involved looking up whatever obscure texts there were in the main Castel library, and translating them. The project was a great success and a lot of those published translations made waves not only in Castel but all over Cordonia too. This got her recognition just the year before Liam's social season, and several people approached her during that time for projects.
• Kiara thrives on challenges, which she often finds in doing literary translations. Direct translations can result in losing out on the essence and nuances of a text, so on some projects Kiara has to find creative ways to preserve that essense and ensure she doesn't lose sight of the source author's voice.
• As the head of the Royal Diplomatic Liaison, she also engages in a bit of diplomatic translation and interpretation work.
• Not translation related but I had to put it out there: Hana doesn't know Parsi Gujarati too well (though she knows Farsi) even though her mother was from the Parsi community in Cordonia, and really wanted to for the uncle and aunt she had grown closer to - Francesco and Perizaad. So Kiara gifted her a copy of the book Parsi Bol which contains all sorts of Parsi Gujarati idioms.

Fix for broken "Break Up" Want
Tumblr media
my first ever mod, a fix for broken maxis coding, this case being the "Break Up" want. This want is now appears in the wants panel for adults and elders sims of all aspirations, instead of not being rolled at all
Download here conflicts with any custom WantTrees package, future revision with other wants fixes coming soon
Notes: The want does not appear originally because no ages (adult, elders , teens, children etc.) are checked on the panels, and only two of the three packages have any aspirations checked (romance and family) with the third having not having ANYTHING checked, so yeah. Additional special thanks to @simnopke for finding the wants that relate to it and setting up the foundation of this mod. @lamare-sims for noticing that my dumbass uploaded the wrong thing O_O , it got lost cause this upload went through 4 revisions so far (not including the mashup with dreadpirate's want trees)

i read Find Your Unicorn Space by Eve Rodsky, which mentions her previous book Fair Play several times, so… I read that too. Nobody can stop me now!
Find Your Unicorn Space seems pretty straightforward. It's about how to carve time out of caring for a household in order to pursue what makes you alive. Anything creative that can be shared counts. "But first," tasks have to be divided between members of the household so that "having Unicorn Space" doesn't bring the whole house into chaos. (Ironically, it's Fair Play that contains the anecdotes about how "I quit my creative job to become wife-and-mother, then he ultimately fell out of love with me and divorced.")
Fair Play is about dividing those household chores, all the "invisible work" that usually falls on women in a hetero relationship, by representing each of those tasks as cards in a deck. cards that don't apply, or which don't match the partners' values, are removed from the deck, and the participants choose the remaining task cards. then, whoever has the card is 100% responsible for performing the task. no reminders, no "when are you going to do the thing?" it's completely removed from everyone else's radar. the cardholder has all the authority, autonomy, and responsibility for it.
the main thing that the book falls short on is that the language is extremely heteronormative. despite being tested in multiple households with a diverse group of members, the language used is always about "women doing too much" and "men not being useful." i'm sure it's partly because the author is drawing on her own experience, where her husband stepped back once they had children (as is common), but it's also wearying to notice this constantly throughout the book.
on the flip side of this, the main thing i could not stop thinking about while reading is that “this would work so well for bigger homes. with a third person, everyone could divide all the cards without overloading anyone.” in comparison, for a couple, Rodsky recommends trying to keep the household under 80 cards in play (out of 100, although some are "wild cards" like job loss or moving—they're not meant to be in play all the time.)
the book is focused on struggling women improving their own lives immediately, so it doesn't mention any scenario with more adults in a household, whether that's a multi-generational household, polyamory, or queerplatonic partnerships.
beyond all that, it seems like the Fair Play system is customizable. "lawn & plants" might be split into 3 cards: lawn, landscaping, garden. maybe there's an entirely different card to be put in. but again, the book ends up being very focused on the "getting started" level, so this doesn't get a mention in the text.
ultimately, i didn't personally get a lot out of this book—because of past encounters with Dana White's How to Manage your Household and Gemma Hartley's Fed Up, my partner and i already had a decent balance of domestic work. on the other hand, someone who feels like they are drowning in keeping everything running behind-the-scenes should read Fair Play.

Atheists and Nike - The God Question
Most people believe that atheists know very little about God or religion concluding that they do not believe in an all-powerful supreme being. However, this is not a belief but rather a rejection that such deities exist. This means their very existence was created by the God question wherein religious leaders failed to solve the Nike problem. According to the Atheist and Wikipedia, atheism is the "rejection of the assertion that there are gods'' or a "rejection of the belief that any deities exist." In 1999, Clasius Adams Fennel told the Pentecostal Church of God that he did "not believe in God and I am not an atheist." This historian did not share common beliefs that atheists were god haters. Instead, he tried to prove that he was created by the very churches that he now contradicts. Unfortunately, Fennel is not alone. A 2023 PRRI survey found that 51% of non-Christians were once protestants
Atheists and Nike - The God Question
Over the years the percentage of Americans who identify as non-religious has been growing steadily. A PEW research found that in 2007 there were only 16% compared to 29% in 2021. Of these respondents, 3% were now atheist and 5% agnostic. Agnostics take the middle ground being unable to deny or confirm that deities exist. Unfortunately, many of these people were once firm religious believers who ran head-on with the Nike problem. They abandoned their faith choosing to stand on the middle line or fully deny the existence of supreme beings. What is the Nike problem? Like any other shoe factory, Nike was created as a source of income for its founders Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. However, within a short time, the company became a brand, a household name, and finally the correct sign. The company no longer advertised its name, just that well-known symbol. Interesting, right? Nonetheless, three things have set Nike apart from the pack and have kept it ahead over the years. Reports from Statista and Esquire ME show Nike as the number one US shoe brand and the best-selling shoe (Nike Airforce 1) in the world in 2023. - One logo: Nike has only one symbol, a unique logo using the 'correct' sign. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, Nike is the same. - Nike has no limitations: Nike is a universal shoe company that has no known discrimination - gender, age, race, social or economic ladders. Anyone can wear the brand. -  Nike products are user-owned: When the company releases its products, everyone can own them. People who purchase a pair may use them for their own benefits as they so desire. The company has changed over the years in improving the quality of the products it provides but has not changed its core values.
Why People Convert to Atheists or Agnostics
No one is born an expert. Time is responsible for grooming them into who they will become - a doctor, a mechanic, a writer.  Once upon a time over 51% of Americans believed in a supreme being and followed a religious leader or a church in its concept. Notably, 33,089 Christian denominations in the world are responsible for teaching about God. Here are three main reasons they have created atheists or agnostics. - Will the real God please stand up: There are 33,089 different presentations of this Christian diety and claim to have the "true and living God." Which denomination is correct? So many different logos. Confused members find more questions than answers. - Strange deities: These churches all present different sides of this supreme being of love. For some, he promotes slavery, for others women's inferiority, racism, hatred of evildoers, and the destruction of the human race.  Can someone please define love, again? - Socialism: Some of these organisms have supreme leaders who dictate the rules that govern their followers' lives. The freedom granted by democracy is suddenly swept away. These leaders have gifts and rights to the possessions of their members. All ordered by this diety. After being subjected to these conditions, it's a matter of common sense. People will reason and when they do, they walk away from their doubts. Unlike the Nike brand, these deities come face to face with rejection losing more believers each year.     Read the full article

MY FANTASY AMAZON CHALLENGE
Tumblr media
THE AMAZON LAWS:
Division into Two Courts: The Amazons are divided into two courts, the Fullmoon Court and the Newmoon Court, each with distinct values and emphases.
Simultaneous Governance of the Courts: Each Court is led by a Queen, both born on the same day, establishing a mystical connection between the leadership.
Synchronized Births Queens must conceive and give birth simultaneously, strengthening the bonds between the Courts and maintaining the tradition of simultaneous births.
Challenging Procreation: Procreation is conditioned on winning in combat. Forced laborers must lose in a combat against one of the soldiers of the clan to procreate, being released after procreation unless they procreate with a Queen.
Feminine Sovereignty: All clan members are women; men can only be forced laborers. Male children must be left in other households, while females become members of the Courts.
Limited Forced Laborers: Male presence is strictly regulated, allowing only two forced laborers at a time. This limitation maintains female predominance in the Amazon Courts.
Desertion: Any form of love is prohibited among the Amazons. Involvement in romantic relationships is considered desertion and results in punishment.
Roles: The Amazons hold various roles, but the Ancient, Captain of the Guard, and Matriarch are the most important and prominent.
Lineages: Surnames and lineages are crucial. Changing a surname is only allowed by becoming a princess when born a twin of a member other than the Queen.
Succession: When the Princesses are ready, the Queens have the right to pass on the mantle. Outside of Queen, other roles are not hereditary.
These laws form the social structure and traditions that shape life within the Fullmoon and Newmoon Courts of the Amazons.
Introducing the characters:

occult: vampire

Tumblr media
3- KAREENA BLADE, THE CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD
traits: Short-Tempered, Mean and Heroic
occult: none

Tumblr media
4- OPHELIA BLADE, THE ANCIENT

Secondly, his labor is carefully supervised, allowing the community to keep a watchful eye on his actions and intentions.

Entries of Chapter 1 -
Artemis- Today was the creation of our brotherhood of Amazons, and also the Creation of my Court, a step towards achieving my goals. I am certain that the New and Full Moon Amazons will prosper. However, the thought of my future heirs weighs heavily on my mind. We need a wise and dedicated Amazon to guide future generations, acting as a Matriarch.
Isis- Today marked the founding of the Full Moon Court, a moment that reinforces our unity. While my sister, Artemis, seeks peace, I take the lead in battle and will rule with an iron fist. The Full Moon will be our constant witness. As I take on the role of Queen, I commit to making the Full Moon Amazons an unstoppable force under the bright glow of the night.
Kareena- Today was the creation of our Amazons group, but, more than that, a day of transformation for me. The Twin Queens presented me with an unusual gift. The vampiric bite that will grant me strength and speed beyond human comprehension. I accepted this gift with gratitude, knowing that as Captain of the Guard, I must rise to the challenge of protecting my sisters. The challenges that lie ahead will be considerable, but I am prepared to face them with fury and determination.
Ophelia- Today I observed with satisfaction the creation of the NewMoon and FullMoon Courts. The Twins Queen lead with skill, and my plan is unfolding as expected. Their duality, combined with my sweet Kareena's skills, will form the alliance I need. However, everything would have been easier if Hercules had followed the original plan. But in the end, I think serving as a slave to the Amazons is a good punishment for him.

10 Tips To Consider When Taking Care Of Your Goldendoodle
Tumblr media
Goldendoodle puppies can be challenging to resist loving them. They have become some of the bestselling designer breeds worldwide right now. What this means for you is that there are now many greater owners of goldendoodle dogs, which has contributed to them becoming increasingly popular every year. As the goldendoll is relatively new, there may be those who lack understanding on how best to appropriately maintain their canine.
Does this dog breed receive the same attention and training that comes with owning a dog like a retriever? Although the hybrid condition may be a bit confused, that's all that matters. We've got some recommendations to help you take better responsibility for your goldendoble, resulting in a happier, healthier family.
1. Provide puppy proof for your home
The best way to care for your newly acquired goldendoodle would be to dogproof your house. This applies equally to you and the dog. You wouldn't prefer not to let your existing dog enjoy chewing on your Manolus, yet you likewise prevent him from engaging in anything threatening to hurt him.
This is a means to cover up the mess, including disposing of the cleansing materials, as well as properly sealing them back up for safekeeping. Maintaining specific herbs outside the home means addressing all other matters that must be dealt with, such as adjusting the temperature in your house, and destroying any smaller item that your pooch might chew or bite upon. Starting a new home early is preferable to waiting later.
2. Begin to train your dog immediately after acquiring it.
Training a brand-new dog involves teaching him on how to act appropriately within the home. Waiting to teach a puppy is not advisable at any stage. It should be initiated immediately after receiving a dog either from a rescue organization, or essentially the same applies to your goldendot.  This dog requires being trained correctly to be a successful dog.
3. It's fundamental yet often overlooked by new dog owners.
It's basic yet often overlooked amongst the newest dog homeowners. Your pup needs something that can be done when bringing home the dog but is unavailable to interact socially. Since he has needs, you need to ensure that you always make sure that you always hold on to some kind of toy. This way, you and your dog can engage in playful play together. Your pet requires a toy. Similar to any dog, goldendoodles can tolerate any type or toy provided that keeps them occupied and allows for quality time together.
4. Enjoy quality time spending time together.
Caring for a goldendoll is more involved than simply ensuring that the dog remains nourished. It's all about establishing a strong bond between your dogs by demonstrating love to him, as well as giving him a sense that he is an important member of the household. This should be remembered; don't neglect spending time cuddling the dog. Having play, good walking, and a cuddle are all essential for ensuring that your dog feels welcomed, loved, safe, healthy, happy, etc.
5. Establish a schedule that includes walks, feeding, or grazing.
Doesn't it make you happier to have your day planned? I understand the fact that our family tends to flourish when things are scheduled. We don't mind changing it if it works; however, we prefer to set extend a day, a structure, or standards. Having four children makes it necessary. It's also required when having a canine companion within the home. Your goldendock will greatly value your scheduled activities, particularly regarding his food schedule or walking regimen. He requires to be able to distinguish between when to venture out or when to consume food to be able to relax.
6. Have a talk with your veterinarian when you own a goldendoodle.
Your veterinarian has become your best buddy after getting a goldendot. He, she is becoming your newest and most trusted resource. Your veterinarian will visit to examine your pet, recommend a suitable diet, assess the dog's health, etc. This will aid in ensuring your animal thrives. You may contact your veterinarian anytime to ask any question, request assistance, or ask about your dog's health, etc. Being consistent with your behavior is one of the most beneficial things you could also be doing to your goldendock.
7. Try to be consistent with your behavior.
Dogz, whether you admit it is true, generally understand and value consistency. Confusion arises when a goldendoo gets away today and lands on the road to trouble tomorrow. He requires you who can consistently advise, guide, manage, socialize, acquaint, respect, despise, respect, as well as cherish him. He requires patience and understanding, which is what you need to deliver. Our recommendation is to try and stay consistently positive to help your canine thrive.
8. Try to be gentle when speaking.
Goldendoodles may not be categorized as petite, however, they're not considered mastiff-sized either. Reward your dogs for being kind, as well as instill in your children to behave similarly. We understand that it can seem challenging to persuade a young child towards being kind to an exotic animal; however, it's a proven fact that children naturally behave accordingly when handled softly. That implies that you must act as an example here.
9. Try to get active.
1.4 Dog owners enjoy going for a stroll, a jog, or even a sprint. The Cocker Spaniel goldendoodle is no exception to this, which is why you should physically engage your canine to ensure that it is properly nurtured. This work works well for humans and can be applied at multiple levels. If you encourage your dog to exercise properly, as well as offer him the exercise he requires to stay healthy, your pet is deemed properly cared for. Finally, on another degree, your canine companion is aiding you to stay actively, physically stimulated. Accept this, practice it, and then implement it.
10. Socialized with your dog.
Goldendoodle-friendly dogs that like to socialize, interact, etc. However, they tend to be more cooperative when allowed time to socialize early on. Dogs require socialization to adjust to being able to adapt to various environments, interact amongst other dogs, or just be familiarized by those they may not be familiar or trust.

This is probably not the best place to ask, but you’re also a Christian woman too. I was wondering what you thought about what the Bible says about women and how we must submit to husbands and some other stuff that has me (a potential ace) Christain woman kind of terrified. I would go to my church but social anxiety and my church is pretty conservative. I don’t want to think that we’re just second rate citizens with this. Um…that’s all. You don’t have to answer. Love your Tumblr. It’s one of the main ones I look at. Thanks for countless enjoyment!
— — —
(I’m responding on the submission and not the ask because the ask refused to post properly, I think it was too long for Tumblr’s fancy)
So I know you just asked for my thoughts and not a biblical interpretation lesson, but I didn’t spend 3 months writing an exegesis in college for me to never use those skills again, so buckle up for something of a long answer! (literally, this is almost 3 thousand words, so....sorry about that) *rubs hands together* The thing we need to take into consideration when reading the bible is Interpretation; any truly honest biblical scholar would tell you it is a mistake to take every word in the bible at its literal face value, ESPECIALLY since most of us are reading translations of scripture, not the original ancient hebrew/greek/aramaic/whatever else. So when interpreting scripture, we must consider these things:
Author (Who wrote it?)
Audience (Who was it written for?)
Context (What is written around it?)
So the verses you’re referencing are Ephesians 5:22-23, and in the NIV, they read as follows:
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Isolated from author, audience, and context, they sound pretty sexist, don’t they? And male authority figures have used these verses as justification for the oppression of women for centuries, just as white men used the passage only a few verses away, Ephesians 6:5, as justification for the oppression and ownership of black people (Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ). So let’s look at each of the points above in regards to Ephesians 5 and 6. First, who wrote it? Sometimes that can be a tricky question to answer, but in this case, it’s actually very easy (though there is still a bit of fuzziness/debate). Traditionally, Ephesians is one of the Apostle Paul’s letters to the early church. Specifically, to the body of believers in Ephesus, a Greek city that was a part of the Roman Empire at the time. According to two different study bibles I have, the letter of Ephesians was not addressing any particular problem that the church in Ephesus had (as was often the case with Paul’s letters), but was meant as an encouragement of faith and to increase his readers’ understanding of what it meant to be a follower of Christ. So now what about the Context? Why are the verses at the end of chapter 5 and beginning of chapter 6 so damning to our modern sensibilities? To answer that, we must look at the passages both in context to the verses around them, and in historical and cultural context (which is where 1 & 2 come into play again). Going back to the beginning of chapter 4, which is subtitled “Unity in the Body of Christ” (and remember, these subtitles and groupings were come up with LONG after they were written; we grouped sections together in a way we thought was most logical, which honestly for a book as short as Ephesians I would argue is barely even necessary), we can see that the letter from chapter 4 onward is about living a Holy and Godly life. Chapter 4 urges us to be “completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love” and warns us against living “as the Gentiles* do, in the futility of their thinking.” *Gentiles in this case meaning not neccesarily all non-Jews, but non-believers. AKA, we should live like Jesus lived, WWJD and all that jazz. If the Holy Spirit is in our hearts and our relationship with God is at the forefront of our lives, then that should show clearly in our actions. The very first verse of chapter 5 reads “Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Chapters 5 and 6 especially are meant to act as a sort of guide for how a follower of Christ should act. There’s some stuff about obscenity, greed, sexual impurity, 5:15 sums it up pretty well basically, “Be very careful, then, how you live- not as unwise but as wise,” and then we reach the all important verse. Ephesians 5:21, “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” That’s a full sentence, just that there. Submit to one another. The following three sections are all subsections of this point: one for Wives submitting to Husbands, one for Children submitting to Parents, and one for Slaves submitting to Masters. But when looking at all of these, bad shepherds (ie, racist, sexist assholes) like to ignore that first bit, submit to one another, just as they like to ignore 5:28, which says “husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself;” or they ignore 6:4 which says “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord;” and they ignore 6:9, “Masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.” I do highly encourage you to read chapters 4, 5, and 6 in full, or at least start at 4:17, which is where Paul starts talking about “Living as Children of Light,” because it makes the intent of these apparently damning verses much more clear. Paul is stating that as Christians, we should treat everyone around us with honor and respect. According to one of my study bibles, the grammar of the original Greek suggests that the “submission” involved in all three sections is intended to be mutual submission, and is to come from a filling of the Holy Spirit. However, to be quite frank, Paul still Lived In A Society. A highly structured, patriarchal society, in which all members of a household (women, children, slaves) were expected to submit to the patriarchal head of that household. Male children until they reached adulthood, Slaves until they were freed (remember that, while by no means a purely morally good thing, the system of Roman Slavery was VASTLY DIFFERENT from the Atlantic Slave Trade that men later used this passage to justify existing), and women, unfortunately, for their whole lives. In another one of his letters, what is now the book of Galatians, Paul says in chapter 3 verse 27-29 that “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” This would have been radical at the time. Paul is promising all people of all genders and classes that, in the eyes of God, they are Equal, One, and all “sons,” meaning that they all have a right to the Inheritance of the Father (remember, at this time and in this culture women did not get any inheritance, and younger sons got significantly less than the firstborn. Paul assures the believers that they ALL are equal receivers of the Promises of God). But this equality that Paul speaks of was, in his eyes, a spiritual equality. He was not particularly concerned with overthrowing the earthly patriarchal society that subjugated women and lower classes, but rather instructed all members of that society who also were Believers to submit equally to one another out of love and respect, for they were all Equal in God’s eyes and would be Equal in heaven. This is why he both tells women to submit to and obey their husbands, but also husbands to love, cherish, and care for their wives. Children, obey your parents, but Fathers, don’t be dicks to your kids. Slaves should obey their masters (slavery was much more like a job that you weren’t allowed to quit until your boss said so) but Masters shouldn’t abuse their slaves. There are Societal Authorities, and Paul is telling his readers “look you can’t just go around not respecting those Authorities, but also hey, if you’re the Authority? That’s not a free pass to be an asshole.” As one of my study bibles puts it, “Paul counseled all believers to submit to one another by choice…this kind of mutual submission preserves order and harmony in the family while it increases love and respect among family members.” Paul is basically saying “it’s better for everyone if we all get along, and remember that Christ had a servant’s heart, and intentionally lowered himself for us, so we should do the same for each other.” And while a patriarchal class system is still super sucky for like 80% of the people involved, at least it’s a whole lot more bearable if everyone involved is being a Nice, Good Member of that Society. You mentioned being worried about being treated like a “second rate citizen.” The fact of the matter is that when this was written, women were second rate citizens; that is the context in which Paul is writing. And while I firmly believe that that was wrong, in every sense of the word, Paul wasn’t especially concerned about challenging that aspect of society. Priority one was “Spread the Gospel” and Priority two was “Don’t Get Killed while Spreading the Gospel.” Speaking of Paul, let’s talk a little more about Saul of Tarsus, shall we? In all literary analysis, it is important to examine the author’s beliefs and what biases may have made their way into the work. And while we believe the bible to be a Holy Book, it can and should be subject to the same rules of literary analysis as non-religious texts. First, you must ask yourself, what do you believe about the bible? There are four general ways of looking at it (which are called Theories of Inspiration).
The bible is the Divine Word of God, dictated word for word across centuries directly to its human authors by God Himself.
The bible is the Divine Word of God, written across centuries by men Inspired by the Holy Spirit. While they are writing in their own words, this Inspiration means that the bible is Wholly Perfect with no errors.
The bible is the Divine Word of God, written across centuries by men Inspired by the Holy Spirit. However, because they are imperfect, fallible men, there is a possibility of errors in the text, both in the account of events that happened and in the teaching therein.
The bible is a collection of accounts written by men, with no Divine Intervention from God. It is not Holy, God’s Word, or Infallible.
I was raised to believe theory 2, but now I personally believe theory 3. And since I’m the author of this analysis, it is through the lens and bias of theory 3 that I now present my next point: Paul was sexist. I don’t think he was maliciously so (see again, Galatians 3, and the statement in Ephesians 5 that men should honor, cherish, and care for their wives), but he was a product of his time who had ingrained ideas about women and their place in society. This does not A) mean he was right about how women should act OR B) mean that we should toss out everything he had to say, about women or otherwise, because he was Problematic. Most biblical authors were, in fact, Problematic. Either by our modern standards, due to the time in which they lived, OR by the standards of their own time, because God liked to use Imperfect People (we’re all imperfect, but He liked particularly imperfect people) in His plans. David was an adulterer and murderer. Paul happily sent dozens of Christians to their deaths. Peter was hotheaded and super prejudiced against Gentiles and Samaritans. And most of them were, in one way or another, sexist, racist, and homophobic. These biases then found their way, intentionally or not, into their writings, and then other racist, sexist, homophobic men used those writings to justify systemic oppression of anyone who was not like them. Oppression that is not Christlike. So where does that leave us, in our 21st century application of scripture to our daily lives? We must examine how it was to be read at the time (which we have done), and then see what we can apply from it to our own lives. For myself in my marriage, I look again to the original grammar of Ephesians 5, that indicates the submission is to be mutual. I “submit” to my husband, and he “submits” to me. In other words, our relationship is built on Trust, Clear Communication, and Respect for one another. Sometimes we have to compromise, and I have to put aside my own desires for his sake, or he must set aside his own desires for my sake. It is a willingness to listen to one another, to approach conflicts with an open mind, to consider each other’s feelings before we speak. It is an equal, mutual submission based on love for each other, which doesn’t contradict what Paul says at all. God created all people to be equal. Humans are stupid sometimes and try to insist that we know better, try to create hierarchies and use the bible to try and justify that, but that doesn’t mean those humans are right. If your church is trying to make you feel less than because of your gender, or if you date somebody who pushes TradWife rhetoric and tries to use Ephesians as their justification, then you Run, and feel justified in doing so. (Especially if they also try to use Paul’s words to tell you why you owe your partner sex; see again, Paul was not only sexist but also lived in a patriarchal time when women were second class citizens that had very specific expectations placed on them AND he wasn’t even in a relationship himself, forgive me if I take his advice on my sex life with a grain of salt. Without doing this whole process again, a good modern reading of “don’t deprive one another” is “don’t use sex as a weapon in your relationship/withhold it for bs reasons when you’re mad at each other, etc. Like all other relationship things, sex (or a lack thereof) with your spouse should be based on mutual trust, communication, and love, not petty arguments or the standards of others.)
Trust me, as an ace woman myself, I totally get the fear. I’ve felt it myself, in the past. But God’s intentions for you are not that you become a doormat or servant to a man. If a romantic relationship (or any other partnership) is part of His plan for you, then the bible clearly states, both in Ephesians and elsewhere, that it should be one built on Love and Trust, not Subjugation and Servitude.
I hope this helped you, and again, sorry it was so long XD. Have an amazing day! <3
