The Hellfire room is void of the boyish bodies that usually fill it. The abandoned classroom, turned freak sanctuary, is now littered with pieces the rogues, clerics, and bards left behind — in half-empty soda cans and crumbled-up bags of potato chips.

While Eddie packs up his binder, filled to the brim with miscellaneous papers, you wander around the long table with a trashcan in hand. The wild-haired boy squints when you chuck Dustin’s crushed Pepsi in the bin. “You don’t have to do that, you know?”

“It’s okay,” you shrug. “I don’t mind.”

Eddie huffs through his nose, feeling too exhausted now to argue. He slides his binder into his bag and watches you rake Gareth’s chip crumbs into the trashcan. The urge to stop you becomes unignorable then.

“Okay, well, you know what? I mind—” the boy retorts, striding the very short distance to you and snatching the bin from your grip. He smiles a crooked grin and continues in a fantastical accent. “—‘Cause the Dungeon Master’s queen shouldn’t have to clean up after a bunch of lowborns, alright?”

You roll your eyes with a subdued giggle. “Someone’s gotta do it, Eds,” you insist as you reach for the plastic container he took. You exhale sharply when he hides it further behind him, pulling it further out of your way. “I wanna be of some use around here!”

Eddie’s face twists. “Don’t say that.”

You cower beneath his stare. “Well… It’s not like I actually play or anything. I just kinda… sit around… And watch you guys do everything…”

“Well, why would you play?” he laughs. “You don’t even like D&D.”

Something in the way he says it makes you ache. You’ve always felt distantly horrible about it — failing to take interest in something he holds so close to his heart. Hearing him reiterate that fact twists the knife lodged in your chest.

“That doesn’t bother you?” you wonder, impossibly shy. “That I don’t play?”

Eddie shrugs and sits the bin down again. “Why would that bother me?” he scoffs.

“I don’t know… ‘Cause you like it. And it’s your favorite thing to do in the whole world.”

“Well… Maybe not my favorite thing,” he croons with a mischievous glint in his eye.

Your nose scrunches in disdain. His laughter fills the empty room as his ringed hands spread warm along your sides. “I just feel bad,” you confess, gaze averted to the scuffed tile beneath your feet. “You know, that I can’t get into or whatever.”

Eddie meets your subtle pout with an unbothered grin. “There’s nothing to feel bad about. People like different things, babe. That’s life,” he assures you, squeezing softly at your sides. “I mean, it’s no different than me hating The Smiths, right? I still let you play their cassettes in the van, and you still sit in on all my campaigns— and that, sweetheart, is the meaning of true love…”

Unswayed, you jerk softly back when he leans down to kiss you. You frown up at him with your arms crossed between your bodies. “But Rory loves D&D. And she’s super pretty…”

Aurora Edwards was the newest edition to the Hellfire gang. She goes by Rory for short, though, ‘cause she’s cool like that and everything. Her dyed blonde hair is as wild as Eddie’s, cut into a makeshift mullet that sits sort of shaggy on her head — intentionally messy in a way only she can pull off.

She likes cool music and cool clothes and cool hobbies — because everything she does seems to have some sort of subverted flair to it. She’s smart and she’s nerdy and she’s beautiful. None of which seem fair. You’ve been stirring with feelings of inadequacy since you met her.

And Eddie doesn’t seem to get any of it. His brows furrow at your words, like none of them have any sort of meaning to him.

“She’s way more your type than I am,” you blurt.

A laugh sputters from his plush mouth. “You think my love for you is contingent on some stupid game?” he chuckles.

The way he says it makes you shrink. You feel sort of stupid about it now. “I don’t know…”

“Well, then, I have done a very shit job of being your boyfriend.”

Your chest stings. “No, you haven’t, Eddie—”

“Mm,” he hums, half playful, as he tilts his pretty head to his shoulder. “I have, though. ‘Cause if you think some other girl liking Dungeons and Dragons is gonna make me love you any less, then I have done something horribly, horribly wrong.”

You bite back a smile at his words, pursing your lips to the side of your mouth until the beam becomes impossible to ignore.

“‘Cause you’re kinda stuck with me, turns out,” the boy continues. “Unfortunately for you.”

“Unfortunately?” you echo with a scoff.

“Yeah. ‘Cause if some other schmuck comes around who likes listening to The Smiths and sitting in the sunshine, he’s gonna have to go through me.”

You breathe sharply through your nose in place of a laugh. “I don’t want another guy, Eds…” you confess, going shy all over again.

His nose scrunches as he plays coy. “Even if he doesn’t smoke?” he wonders in a sheepish murmur.

“Even if he doesn’t smoke.”

“Good,” he beams, pulling you into him by your belt loops. His breath fans over your jaw in a minty-nicotine concoction as he ducks his face closer to yours. “‘Cause I don’t want anyone else, either, alright? Even if they are almost as good as me at D&D… Actually, it’s kinda a turn-off, now that I’m thinking about it…”

“Is it?”

“Yeah… ‘Cause, like, I love teaching you about it and everything.”

“Even when I have no idea what you’re talking about?”

“Especially when you have no idea what I’m talking about,” he laughs, smiling so hard his cheeks speckle pink. “‘Cause you know how much I like it, so… You let me talk all the shit I want.”

“’S just because you’re so pretty when you talk about things you like,” you confess.

His face twists. “Am I?”

“Well, you’re pretty all the time, but…”

“You flatter me,” he huffs and pulls you closer. He smirks and goes quieter when he says, “And flattery goes a long way with me.”

“Does it?” you hum with a sunshine-coated giggle.

Eddie doesn’t answer you with words. He just presses his lips to your mouth and hopes you get the gist. His tongue swipes against yours, soft and sudden, as he guides you towards the table. You run into a rogue chair before he can get you on top of it. It screeches against the linoleum tile.

With his face in your hands, you giggle against his mouth. His denim-clad knee slips between your thighs.

The door squeaks softly open then. Rory enters, swift and unthinking. You and Eddie pull apart — one looking much more horrified than the other — as the blonde girl stands frozen in the doorway. Drowning in her sweatshirt and baggy jeans, she points a lanky finger towards the table.

“Sorry,” she apologizes, voice gritty and deep. “I just left my girlfriend’s jacket here, and she doesn’t know I stole it, so… She’d definitely kill me if I forgot it.”

“That’s okay. Come in,” Eddie shrugs with a tightlipped smile, nodding his head in a silent invitation. When Rory plucks the coat from the back of her chair, he says, “Tell Jess I said hi, yeah?”

The girl scoffs as she heads back towards the door again, leaving just as quickly as she came. “She still hates you, you know that, right?” she laughs. ‘Cause Jess was a cheerleader — pretty and sometimes kind, but dreadfully conservative. Her uptight nature often clashed with Eddie’s much more chaotic one.

“Well, tell her to get in line,” Eddie chuckles.

Before Rory leaves the room, she glances at the two of you over her shoulder. She winks with an eye smudged with black liner. “Have fun, you two,” she croons in a pretty voice before shutting the door behind her.

You stand, still and silent in place, wringing your anxious hands into a knot. Feeling like a total idiot, you refuse to meet Eddie’s gaze. You know he’s got a smug look on his face. You can hear the smirk in his voice when he says, “See? Not my type at all.”

Ever After High AU - Main

As you know, the premise is that the Links have been crammed into the Ever After High universe. I'm treating them as characters in addition to the canon characters in EAH, which means a lot of fudging, as it turns out. It's also turning into a game of "how mean can I be to the characters" and I can't exactly lose at it. XD

I've already given you a list of all the Links' and Zeldas' roles so far, but to recap, here's an updated list.

Time/Mask - a child stolen by fairies, unknown legacy, possibly the next Godfather Death, unsure of his stance on destinies.

Lullaby - Mulan's legacy, neutral about destinies.

Warriors - Helen of Troy's legacy, hates his destiny but too afraid to rebel against it.

Artemis/Athena - Athena's legacy, thinks her destiny is boring but is going along with it.

Wild - Rip van Winkle's legacy, but it got messed up with Sleeping Beauty's curse during a magical attack on the school, accidentally woken up by Hyrule.

Flora - Unknown legacy, gains the ability to turn into a dragon and uses her dragon form to wait for Wild to wake up.

Sky - The next person to fight the Jabberwocky, likes his destiny but wants to end the cycle of legacies.

Sun - [redacted] legacy, just waves it off and says it isn't important right now, 100% in love with Sky and supportive of his agenda.

Legend - Merlin's legacy, feels neutral about it since he has to wait a long time to be an adult wizard due to their longevity.

Fable - Legend's twin sister, inherited magical abilities as well, but is not a fan of the princess legacy she inherited, which will make her a side character in someone else's story.

Twilight - Unknown legacy, cursed to be a wolf-dog that Wild adopted and now is stuck with him until someone puts two and two together, he just wanted to be a farmer.

Dusk - Unknown princess legacy, is very suspicious of the weird dog Wild takes everywhere with him, but can't prove anything.

Wind - The child of an ocean deity, probably from Atlantis, doesn't care about his destiny and spends all his free time with Tetra.

Tetra - Knows who her parents are but refuses to be boxed into a destiny, so she never tells anyone what her legacy is.

Hyrule - Jack the Giant Killer's legacy, saves a bunch of people because he's just that nice, is wonderful at what he does, but everyone thinks he knows the technical stuff when he doesn't.

Dawn & Aurora - Miscellaneous princesses, they don't really know what they want to do with their lives and are kind of figuring themselves out.

Four & Shadow - Were supposed to share a legacy, but there was a falling out in the family and now the whole story is messed up.

Dot - Is fine with her destiny and really just spends all her time working on hobbies and getting random certifications while she waits to be rescued. Honestly could not be happier, this changes nothing for her.

Ravio - This is probably going in a side story later, sorry.

Malon - Also probably going to be in a side story later. Sorry.

Spirit - Wasn't supposed to have a destiny but ended up befriending a ghost and then died in a train accident caused by a magic fight that made him a ghost, too.

Phantom - Was born into a legacy family but was an "extra princess" who ended up getting assassinated before she ever found out what her destiny was supposed to be, ends up being best friends with Spirit.

Anyway, here's a bit from the main plot. :)

No, it was too early for him to fall asleep! It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. He didn’t sign The Storybook of Legend yet, none of this was supposed to be happening… Regardless of his opinion on the matter, his eyes drooped shut. The magic permeating every fiber of his being and lulling it to a deep, dark sleep. Despite his best efforts, he was rendered unable to fight it, his will simply too weak to assert itself over something so powerful. His last dim thought was gratefulness for the fact that Flora would be his last sight before he woke up again. If he ever did.

Last film: The last full film I watched was Romeo and Juliet (2021) with Josh O'Connor and Jessie Buckley because my best friend's NYU account has access to a bunch of plays and she came over to watch it with me, but I watch a bunch of miscellaneous movie clips though

Part 2:

1. Were you named after anyone?

Nah, my English name is a weird, fairly original one that my parents came up with (so many people pronounce my English name even though it's literally phonic, but I love that it doesn't have a pre-set meaning) and Chinese naming is a whole different thing, where there's not really a concept of naming your kid after someone, and even then it's not like English where you take the same name.

But I will say my Chinese name means "such a beautiful jade", which I really like, and am really happy with, so thanks Mom for that!

2. When was the last time you cried?

When I went to my bi-monthly counselling/ therapy on Friday

3. Do you have kids?

No, I'm 19 lol but I do want some in the future

I have a group of kids, essentially my sister's friends and schoolmates to whom I act as a big sister/mentor figure, I call those kids my children/my ducklings (I say kids but they're 16)

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

I used to do ballet until I pulled my legs and couldn't go on pointe anymore, so I quit in 2020 after fourteen years. And if anyone says dancing isn't a sport I will fight you

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Not really, just occasionally with my sister when we're clearly joking with each other

6. What’s the first thing people notice about you?

Either my naturally wavy/frizzy hair, or me being trilingual (I have a draft ranting about being a polyglot lmao)

7. What’s your eye color?

Dark, dark brown ��

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings, definitely. I also absolutely cannot handle any scary movies 😩

9. Any talents?

Eh, I don't really view myself like that? But I'll put public speaking and making arts and crafts out here

Hong Kong! (nationality is a whole debate here and it's really complicated plus I'm technically an immigrant child even though it's still part of the country? But if someone asks me I always say I'm a Hong Konger)😁

11. What are your hobbies?

Too many to count! Singing, dancing, writing, performing, drawing, scrapbooking, reading... and pretty common hobbies but I just, they give me so much peace and happiness

12. Do you have any pets?

No but I have a little sister! (jkjk) I do want a cat though

13. How tall are you?

163 cm, so that's 5'3?

14. Favorite subject in school?

English and Chinese (for secondary school)

🤕-Which boss is the hardest?

The Swansong is the bane of my existence. I've got over 700 hours in the game and I've... never actually beaten it. To be fair that's largely because I never really bothered doing mech stuff until recently (my achievement hunter brain craves Parasprite and Cosmic Intruder figurines) but hell, even the dungeon is hard. I can usually just blaze through all the dungeons, but even with endgame gear I die fairly often in the Dantalion!

🌶️-What do you think is your most unpopular Starbound opinion?

I don't care for Frackin Universe and similar overhaul mods. I just genuinely enjoy the vanilla experience! (Well, I call it Vanilla+ since I've got a ton of little QOL/bugfix/cosmetic mods. One of them literally just makes Snuggets glow)

I dabbled in Frackin once with friends, and it didn't interest me enough to start my own playthrough. It's certainly not a bad mod, just not my thing. I might do a heavily modded playthrough with Frackin and the whole nine yards someday, but I don't have any actual plans to do so.

🚀-Which ship design is the best?

They've all got their charm, but I quite like the Hylotl and Apex ships! I haven't actually gotten a fully upgraded ship with either of them, but I do like the futuristic designs. The Hylotl one is probably my favorite out of the two, though. The patchwork look of the Floran ship is also excellent.

🪞-Which starbound oc made you discover something about yourself, or inspired you to try something new?

I've been taking art seriously (as a hobby) for over six years now, but I never really bothered to draw people until I got invested in my Starbound OCs! I was a Wings of Fire kid so I started out drawing dragons(and I still do, just different dragons lol), but I've even gotten into gesture drawing lately just to draw my SB characters better.

🔎-What's a small, easy-to-miss detail that you just love?

I honestly really like the bug catching! It was absolutely a pain to get all of them for the achievement, but they make lovely lil decorations. The wild bugs add excellent ambience when wandering around on planets, too.

Also, all the little lore snippets from scanning stuff and talking to NPCs are excellent.

🎳-Funnest toy?

I must admit I never really bothered to do much with the toys! I kind of forget they exist most of the time. If I ever stumble across them I do have fun chucking them around my ship for a minute before they get banished into a miscellaneous storage box somewhere. I should do more with them

💺-What is your favorite furniture set? What is your favorite standalone furniture item? Do they go together?

I'm quite fond of the Astro set! One of my favorite things about SB is the sci-fi setting, and I love all the cool space props available. I like to mix and match them for individual builds, but Astro is my favorite whole set just because it's orange lol

My favorite individual piece has got to be the Symbiote in a Jar. I like to put them in my ship as a friend. Just look at him. Little guy

🛋️-Top 3 furniture mods?

I don't actually use any! At least not any elaborate ones; I have a few for little things like gravity field generators, ceiling-mounted sprinklers, and craftable plants and coral. Also more colors of string lights and neon lights, because shiny glowy things are a necessity.

Letheia Expanded does look very cool, though! I love mods that build on the existing lore like that.

🧱-Favorite block(s)?

The good old Ornate Wood and Classic Baseboards are some of my go-to blocks for regular house builds. Heavy Pipes, too! They make great extra details.

I also love a bunch of the super niche blocks. There's not exactly a lot of regular building uses for a block of eyeballs, but if you ever need some weird stuff for a science lab or whatnot then there's that!

🧰-What huge, super ambitious mod would you make if you had the time/energy/skills?

CHARACTER CREATION OVERHAUL. I utterly despise the little arrows for selecting everything. It's already a pain in vanilla, but when you start adding in things like Colorbound and new hairstyles it is absolute agony. I've never even tried modding and I've heard that the current BS system is hardcoded in, but I long for reasonable character creation. NPCspawner's creation menu is excellent (it uses lists of colors/hairs to pick from rather than the wretched arrows) and I wish vanilla had something similar.

WRITEBLR ETIQUETTE: A COMPENDIUM

– But not really, of course. That’s just to make it sound fancy. This is just a quick list of basic (and maybe not so basic) writeblr rules/etiquette compounded together by myself and other fellow writeblrs. While Tumblr as a whole is a hell-void for everyone to yell into, it’s a hell-void with standards. Please keep these things in mind when you are interacting with others in the writeblr community to create a pleasant environment for everyone involved.

– On Taglist

Taglists are a big part in generating interactions for your posts as it’s the quickest and easiest way to inform people interested in your wip “hey, look guys, I posted a cool thing and wanted to share.” However it is important to remember that taglists should always be opt-in only. As in, someone should explicitly say they want to be on your taglists before you add them. Also an important note: If you have multiple wips on tumblr, you cannot use the same taglist for all of them unless it is a general taglist. Not everyone is going to be interested in all of your wips; please be courteous to your fellow writeblrs and let them choose what content they want to enjoy. There are certain exceptions to this, however. When writing a wip intro you can tag mutuals who you know might be interested to signal boost, but it’s best to only do this once and with permission.

Please don’t abuse your taglist by using it at every little thing related to your wip. Try to keep it to major posts such as: OC introductions, excerpts, WIP updates/announcements, etc. While people do love hearing from you and viewing your content, endless tags can get annoying and will clog up people’s notifications.

A side note: There isn’t a foolproof way of getting people to be on your taglists, but going to people’s inboxes/dms and asking if they want to be in it is definitely not the right way. I would recommend posting an interest check instead to see who is interested. Interest checks are also great if you’re participating in an event and don’t want to spam people with a lot of posts.

– On General Tagging

Make sure to add appropriate tags when posting content. Add all the relevant content warnings, trigger warnings, NSFW and NSFR tags as needed. Nudity and sexual content-- no matter how tasteful-- should be tagged NSFW.

When wanting to interact with another person’s posts, pay attention to the OP’s tags! If they say DNI, do not reblog, etc, then don’t. Definitely do not tag their original work as inspo/prompt/etc. because that’s just plain rude. It can be seen as invalidating, or it diminishes their work as simply inspiration for other people to use instead of something that can stand on its own.

– On Self-Promotion

Accept the facts now: Tumblr clout is fake. However as writers, even if you are a simply doing this as a hobby, we still need to learn how to promote ourselves and our work if we want to gain interaction. The absolute best way to gain interaction– meaningful interaction– is to interact with other people. Tagging a whole bunch of writeblrs asking for a “follow for follow” is going to get you nowhere in the long run, and honestly, is just annoying. If you’re part of a writeblr discord, use that opportunity to make friends and generate meaningful interaction. Don’t just use it as a place to promote your work and just not interact with anyone.

– On Ask/Tag Games

Meet and Greet Monday, Worldbuilding Wednesday, Storyteller Saturday, etc. are fantastic ways to interact with fellow writeblrs and gives a great excuse to talk about details of your wip you normally wouldn’t get to share. Sending asks to other writeblrs is a great way to learn about their wips and to interact with them, but on the other hand, please try to send good or relevant asks. These ask games are as much a way to help writers develop their story as well as sharing fun tidbits. Try to do a little bit of research into a person’s wip before asking, if possible. If you don’t have any good/relevant questions, then it’s ok to skip a week.

If you reblog an ask game from someone, send them an ask as well! It’s quick, easy, polite, and will absolutely make their day.

In relation to tag games: don’t make chain posts. If you’re tagged in something, just make your own separate post. Adding to the OP’s post makes it so that every like, reblog, comment, etc. ends up clogging their notifications which is not fun.

– Miscellaneous

If you like someone’s post, consider reblogging it! Not only does it help other people see their post, it’ll make their day.

In the same vein, try to add something to their post. Whether it’s a reaction gif/pic, a comment, a simple “nice” in the tags, or keysmashing. Writers love hearing from people and it’s just extra incentive to work more. Unsolicited advice, however, is never welcome.

Respect people’s boundaries. Enough said.

If you’re posting a screencap of an excerpt, add a transcript, even if it’s under a “read more.” For graphics, it’s really up to you, but try to add an image description anyway.

Long posts should have a “read more”

Credit your graphic templates/psds

And, while this shouldn’t need to be said, don’t plagiarize.

Favourite Story You Wrote: I’m so critical of my work that this is really hard to answer. I suppose the three that I’m currently the most proud of are as follows.

Beauty From The North: A Breath of the Wild fanfic about the relationship between Kass and his teacher. I love that bird bard and couldn’t rest until I wrote about him.

Ghostwriter: A Dragon Age II Fenders fic collab with @goatbazaarofdragons. It’s all about Fenris writing friend fiction and inadvertently writing a literary classic. I love writing a Fenris who writes as much as I love writing a Fenris who gardens. Let the man have some peaceful hobbies and passions, please and thank you!

Fairy Wiles: A Pokemon Sword/Shield fic about Opal adopting Bede. The moment that happened in-game I knew I had to write about it. Writing Opal was a challenge, but I loved every minute of it.

Story You Were Nervous to Post: Every single one every single time. I sometimes have to close my eyes to press the “publish” button.

How You Choose Your Titles: I play around with whatever my fic is about, and after I make a list of them I’ll put them through a tournament bracket. Usually I can narrow it down to one I really love and workshop that one. Sometimes a title will come to me and then I’ll write a story around it (Example: Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Mage After Midnight)).

Complete: A few.

Incomplete: So many. Just... so many. I hang my head in shame over my incomplete works and despair.

Do You Outline?: Absolutely! What’s fun is looking at my outlines and then looking at what I’ve written, and realizing just how far I strayed from the outline before somehow ending where I needed to end. My outlines shift so much but I do try to have a start, middle, and end. And sometimes there’s a whole scene with dialogue in the outline!

Coming Soon/Not Yet Started: I’ve got quite a bunch of stories on the back burner. I have a few Breath of the Wild stories I’ve written openings for. There’s a Pokemon Sword and Shield story that’s partially written and partially plotted. I’m thinking of slowly getting back to the Voltron epic I had planned (Things Happened and I didn’t know where to go with the story until I realized and accepted that the canon is only a suggestion). There are several Dragon Age fics I’ve got ready to go in the coming weeks/months (I’m very excited to share some of these, they’ve been in the oven for So Long). And there’s a Star Wars: Rebels fic I’ve been toying with for a bit that finally has an opening scene that I like.

Do You Accept Prompts?: Every Friday I fill prompts for @dadrunkwriting. At least, I try to fill prompts every Friday, but I’ll always get to them! Eventually!

Upcoming Story You Are Most Excited to Write: Besides my Dragon Age projects? Someday I swear I’ll get to that Lord of the Rings story I’ve been meaning to write about Princess Lotheriel and the Princes of Dol Amroth because if I’m going to write about characters you know I’m going to write about the more obscure ones. There will be Drama! Romance! Horses! The Sea! And hopefully some levity because I don’t want it to be all doom and gloom and drama. We’ll see.

1. Are you staying home from work/school? Yup! The whole country is on lockdown so since I'm not an essential worker (I'm doing data entry at the moment until I'm back to being a vet in July) I'm working from home

2. If you’re staying home, who’s there with you? I'm living with my parents until my move in June :)

3. Do you have pets to keep you company? A lucky perk of living with the 'rents! A dog, a cat (both my childhood pets so I love them dearly), some fish, and a frog 🐸

4. Who do you miss the most? My friends! I had lots of catch ups planned for before I move countries so I'm sad to lose those

5. When was the last time you left your home? This afternoon - I go for a walk around my neighbourhood everyday for exercise and sanity

6.What was the last thing you bought? A bunch of new clothes just a few days before lockdown was announced

7. Is quarantine driving you insane or are you finally relaxed? A bit of both. I'm getting more sleep, exercising more regularly, and have more time for my hobbies which is good. But at the same time the whole situation is stressful and it's making planning my move much harder. Plus there's only so much time I can spend with my parents before I lose it

8. Are you a homebody? Yes, but I like home best when I get to leave it on a semi-regular basis so I can feel the joy of coming back

9. What movies have you watched recently? No movies since I saw Emma in the cinema. I have just finished rewatching the Vampire Diaries and I'm now bingeing Grey's Anatomy for the 800th time (it's my emotional support TV show)

10. An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled? My graduation from vet school. It's a lot of hard work to then not get the big celebration I was hoping for

11. What’s the worst thing that you’ve had to cancel? Bringing my grandma up for grad. She's in her 80s so now I worry that I won't get to see her again because I'm moving countries 😭

12. What’s the best thing you’ve had to cancel? Nothing positive

13. Do you have any new hobbies? No, but I'm back into some old ones! And I'm loving puzzles at the moment

14. What are you out of? Yeast. You just can't get it at the moment. And my favourite shampoo because it's a salon brand and those are closed

15. What music are you listening to? A lot of Johnny Flynn, Vaudevylle, and other miscellaneous country music

16. What are you reading? Nothing really, I'm in a slump. Anyone got recommendations?

17. What are you doing for self-care? Sleep-ins every day and at least 30mins exercise a day (usually 1hr + by the time I've been for a walk and done 30ish mins of pilates)

30. Have you made any changes to your hair during quarantine? Not unless you count letting it grow out of any recognisable style. That was kind of the plan so I could make a change but it's been exaggerated by lockdown and not having the pressure of having nice hair for graduation :/

the fallible daughter of two very infallible people: robert beaumont, US lieutenant general, and manon levesque, world renown fashion designer. both calculating, cold, and purposeful.

saige never believed she was created out of love. it was an action with a purpose, intentions to create the perfect child. the hybrid of both military genius and fashion extraordinaire, molded to their will.

it took them no more than six months after her birth for her parents to up and move, thus beginning the cycle of packing and unpacking, flying and driving, state-to-state and country-to-country. the longest saige had ever stayed in one place was two years.

kept on a short leash, homeschooled, and learning skills she had no interest in – she was more like a pet, a project, than a child. the world moved all around her, but she felt restrictively tethered to her parents.

she had always felt this way. a bird in a cage of thorns.

it was hard to keep and maintain friends – saige would be there one day, and gone the next. a ghost, a very visible ghost. even so, she tried her hardest.

running from bodyguards (nannies, in a sense. her father is a paranoid man) into festival crowds and climbing out of windows in the dark of night to swim in lakes with locals she’d meet only a few hours earlier – she absorbed as much of what she could get; this intense, undying love for a world she had always craved to see.

it was the start of something near dangerous – a phase that seemed to never end, rebellion coursing through her veins. a wild child in the making, unknowing of limits. the bad sort of crowd was the crowd she found herself landing, more often than not – introducing the sheltered girl to a world she hadn’t quite known existed

she ran away, briefly, at age fifteen with a man three years older than her – which nearly ended up in a tabloid magazine if it hadn’t been for her parents’ money. though the guilt of her parents’ disappointed weighed on her, the thrill fueled something much worse

from that point on, she became a problem child. from public intoxication to vandalism – it was clear their daughter was unraveling and nothing could contain her.

boarding school was a small attempt to stop it – she got expelled.

she hadn’t intended to go to university, either – but, by some chance – and after a mysterious year-long disappearance from public eye during her eighteenth year of life, next thing she knew, she was a student at lockwood university.

she was involved in a getaway chase from an armed robbery at a bank which then turned into a hit-and-run in washington when she was on the brink of turning eighteen. it was a situation she had no control over, not knowing her role in the scheme until it was too late to turn back. the victim survived but saige’s family has been paying the medical fees since then. her parents haven’t spoken to her since.

ever since the accident, saige has avoided causing too much trouble - generally staying out of headlines and tabloids, partially in fear of her parents finally cutting ties, and partially in fear of doing something that’ll cost another person their life.

the fallible daughter of two very infallible people: robert beaumont, US lieutenant general, and manon levesque, world renown fashion designer. both calculating, cold, and purposeful.

she had always felt this way. a bird in a cage of thorns.

it was hard to keep and maintain friends – saige would be there one day, and gone the next. a ghost, a very visible ghost. even so, she tried her hardest.

from that point on, she became a problem child. from public intoxication to vandalism – it was clear their daughter was unraveling and nothing could contain her.

boarding school was a small attempt to stop it – she got expelled.

and while too afraid to visit the victim & their family, every month since the conviction of the others involved - she’ll visit one of them in particular. it’s been three years and saige has shown no sign of stopping.

during her last visit, he had sent her on a scavenger hunt resulting in her breaking into his brother’s (& his, technically) home and finding a second iPhone - one she had no idea he had, one with the watershed app installed. their intentions was for saige to be able to access the app - but his shepherd access had been revoked, and the phone had already been wiped clean. regardless, saige took it back to rochester with her.

george craig iii / saige had met george after bringing tatiana back to her dorm one night where they accidentally crossed paths. one thing led to another and they wound up sleeping together. it hadn’t meant to be a thing at all, but there had been two other incidents of them ‘accidentally crossing paths’ before his disappearance.

Appearance: Either people think I am a bit younger or a lot older than I look (it's really weird.I'm 20)// I'm quite average in height (I don't know about the inches system) but around 165cm//I am chubby and soft// my fashion style is really mess. sometimes it is painfully plain and others i look like an edgy clown. I rarely ever wear white and most of my closet is ready to be worn at a funeral. i like buying second hand clothes for environmental reasons but I do buy from stores as well given there are so few second hand shops where I live// my hair is long (unless i wake up one morning and decide more than half of it has to go/did that a couple of times) and quite curly. sometimes i think it is gorgeous but that is mostly at the end of the day when i am alone in front of the mirror.most of the time though it is just a mess// I am a brunnette both eyes and hair which is the norm where i come from really// I have a birth mark on my chest which is so in the exact center of it and I have the exact same mark on my back at the same place, it really looks like somebody stabbed me or sth// I wear mostly sneaker like shoes or athletic shoes (though i barely ever exercise at all)cause life is short and i need my shoes to be comfy//

Hobbies and Talents: sometimes I draw (purely for fun, like doodling and stuff to calm my mind)// I cross stitched one thing once cause i woke up and thought why not// I really like writting whether it is fanfiction or just fiction but i am also the kind of person that has like 10 works in progress at all times// I love reading cause books <3 // i really enjoy screaming along to songs when no one is around tho that doesn't sound like a talent really (i just do it i guess)

Relationships: Friendship wise I have like a couple of people I adore, like literally they are my whole world, and for anyone that thinks love can only be romantic joke's on you( i don't usually get attached but when I do I do). I am not very social otherwise cause like i can get really akward and really anxious really fast when I talk to people. but i do have a few more casual friends I have managed to keep after my akward first introductions // romantic wise I have never had anything but also it's like weird cause like who do i even like. besides some famous people I have very rarely been attracted to real people. nonetheless I do consider my self a hopeless romantic waiting for the right person patiently. I just wait for a deep connection that includes hugs and cuddling (i know i am a clown but what can you do i can't stop my dumb brain from wanting what it wants)//

Aesthetics: I really like to think that I am dark and cool and stuff but in reality I am quite soft and really emotional. like sometimes I cry because I am moved by a sunset or pretty flowers.//I would describe myself as a chaotic good. cause i am a mess sure but also really kind and loving//I love flowers and nature like cute colours and stuff. but I am also quite terrified of it and would prefer to stay home thank you very much// quite the drama queen which comes in direct contradiction with my constant desire to disappear//can never sit properly whatever that means// I love the colour black but especially when you throw a bunch of flowers on it. generally dark colours as background and cute pretty stuff on top which sums up a lot of my aesthetic// love wearing flower themed headpieces cause they are cute// also flannels cause they look so cozy and inviting, why wouldnt you love flannels// love pastel everything cause what fool wouldn't//anyone who knows me will tell you I am weak for all fluffy and cute things, animals, and people//give me hugs or give me death//

Miscellaneous: i am first and foremost a fangirl. I have lived vicariously my whole life through fictional characters.my longest standing fandom that i think will last for life is supernatural of course, though i do get quite attached and obsessed with fictional things very easily//i am vegan for environmental, ethical and political reasons//i have never felt more in home and certain of any decision in my life as going to university to study eglish literature. i love university and wish to find a way to never leave (maybe a phd who knows)//as i have said before I love soft and fluffy textures way too much (like if you have a soft blanket or shirt run/ of course if the other person doesn't mind). but seriously would say touch is my strongest sense// i love cats way too much. like it is more likely i will have a conversation with a cat than any human given the cat tolerates my presence // i too have pcos which causes me a lot of pain most of the time and really really late periods and probably will not have kids that easily if i ever want to. yeah thing is I don't really want kids at the moment at least. truth is i would prefer adopting than giving birth cause that's one less child suffering in the world// I am pretty introverted and have a lot of trouble opening up to others// also irrationally terrified of coakroaches to a very unhealthy degree (to the point that i locked myself outside my bedroom for a whole year cause i found three in two days)//finishing on a more positive note i would love to find the courage to get to know more cool people on here cause no matter what people say about tumblr it is the social media place i have always felt most at home on the internet.
