Hello! Currently in love with Jigokuraku and found your blog through the tag. Your posts are like screaming what's in my mind, I could relate to your fangirling tbh lol. But I have some question in my mind, I don't know with whom should I discuss since I have no friend to talk about Jigokuraku 🥲

1. I read somewhere that Jigokuraku will have 13 episodes. Do you think it's long enough to compress all the things occured in the whole 127 chapters? Or are they going to be separated into several seasons?

2. Idk I have this feeling that Mappa would not show Yui's impact to Gabimaru that much in the anime and put more highlight in Gabimaru and Sagiri's dynamic? Because I haven't see much of Yui whenever they post any art on Jigokuraku official Twitter account. Most of it are our main characters. I know some studios who did whatever they wanted even if it's going astray from what's written in the manga. I experienced this with one of my fav. Anime where they dropped the MC's relationship with his canon couple and replaced it with their preferable ship as if it's canon, then it became very popular among the anime-only fans (I was really angry that some of them throw their hate towards this one female character because they think she ruined this popular ship). But hopefully they would animate it 100% based on the manga, I really fell for this simple romance between Gabimaru and Yui. Also, I don't want them to ruin Sagiri's melancholic side which is very adorable.

To answer your questions...

1. I think there are going to be at least 2 seasons. Or rather, I think there SHOULD be at least 2 seasons. I think it would be great for the first one to end right when Mei appears but, considering the pacing of the anime so far, I think they're gonna end it before or when Lord Tensen have their meeting (I think it's in chapter 25 or 26?).

2. I 100% agree with you. I'm honestly satisfied with how Mappa is handling the relationships so far. I just hope they will continue in this way and not mess it up.

I usually am a very active member part of any fandom I’m in. I edit, write fanfics, and occasionally draw although I haven’t done any of these for a while due to college.

I can’t believe I managed to limit the list to only 10. Here are my fandoms (not numbered in any particular order):

1. Gon Freecss (Hunter x Hunter)

Two words: Moral ambiguity. I love that Togashi stepped away from the usual dichotomy we generally see in shounen protagonists and gave us a character that is the definition of ambiguous. Here’s the link to my favourite Gon character study.

As for the fandom, I like 50% of it and absolutely despise the other 50%.

2. Ryomen Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen)

My mans is hot. A little bit crazy too but we can work with that. I really want to see him in his true form, with the four arms and all.

3. Saotome Mary (Kakegurui)

Waifu material waifu material waifu material waifu material 💞 She’s probably my favourite female character. That ‘Ba~ka’ track though, straight to my kokoro.

4. Levi Ackerman (Shingeki no Kyojin)

I admire Levi a lot. He’s a great character, and kind of my role model. When he was made to choose between Armin and Erwin, I was screaming — 👏Stop👏asking👏Levi to make painful decisions! It hurted to see him make that expression.

5. Hoshino Ryo (Fugou Keiji Balance: Unlimited)

I always thought my favourite FKBUL character was Haru but now that I sat down and really thought about it, it’s Hoshino. Well, I always did have a soft spot for the tragic character that gets rejected ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ

6. Aza Chobe (Jigokuraku)

I don’t know if it’s because I’m not looking hard enough or something, but, aside from the manga site, I have met only 1 other Jigokuraku fan. Anyway, Aza Chobe is a very dependable character and I like that.

7. Oikawa Tooru (Haikyuu!!)

While I interacted regularly with HQ fans and fan content, I never felt like watching it until I saw the Karasuno vs. Aoba Johsai practice match by chance. Oikawa came in, sparkles and all, and I was like I wanna get in on that.

8. Toshio Ozaki (Shiki)

Guy is very committed to his work and craft. I kinda wish the mangaka had not been so fond of the vampires cause I wanted Toshio’s side to have a complete victory.

9. Bakugo Katsuki (Boku no Hero Academia)

It feels great when you share the same favourite character as the mangaka; you get all these tiny little snippets of official Bakugo content. His will and determination though💥

10. Yuri Plisetsky (Yuri on Ice)

I remember wasting so much of my time back in 2016 updating the YOI wikia. Time well spent, ngl. I honestly have forgotten why I like Yuri so much. I will binge watch it shortly.
