CVF fights and who seems to be able to beat who if caught in friendly fire

Putting a spoiler curtain over so it isn't taking up a huge chunk of screen unless you want to read

Basically what the tins got printed. While I try to rotate for a smaller group, sometimes my LDBs (mostly Ieama) has 8 people trudging along behind. When everyone aggros on a wolf the chances of someone NOT hitting a ally is never zero. There's been enough fights that I can figure who can beat who in a fight, tie with, or otherwise has a fluctuating score going. I’ve compiled more or less how the followers I currently have fare against each other in those fights. Now this is all based off of fights in my game, so if they are better in someone else's, I'll raise a glass for ' 'em!

Val: Spellswords are devastating. Pirates play dirty. Being both means he's not an easy opponent. He can take Redcap and Auri most times (unless Auri is far enough and has a clear shot she can take him out before his spells can reach her, while Redcap is a fast little friend and dodges his spells well). He hasn't fought Remi, though I think its just luck on that part, and it’s fluctuating with Tally and Xelzaz (I figure them to be a strategic lot, along with Nebarra), Gore has beat him down more than he’s won (their fighting lines really make for a scene) and he has yet to start shit with Nebarra, so we don't know yet if he would win or not. I'm thinking he'd lose though.

Auri: A very good archer indeed, she doesn't miss much, and constantly moves and creates distance between her and whoever messes with her. Can take down Nebarra and Redcap (the former usually isn't fast enough to get into close combat, and she has wicked aim when she's mad). She has not been in a fracas with Gore or Remi (by sentiment or luck I'm not sure) while Val, Tally and Xelzaz and can go toe to toe so the win/lose ratio is fluctuating. Generally, she fights the last three as an aid to someone else. Her taunts and fight lines about her eating her enemies hearts might also add a touch of fear into most of her opponents too. (Also, she keeps shooting me but I usually front line enemies, so, well call it an accident)

Gore: Generally, once he's set to beat someone's face clean through their ass he's not stopping, and will shrug off whatever is thrown at him to get the job done. He can and will fuck up Val, Xelzaz, Tally and Redcap if they hit him, (the first two have had wins, but Gore has beaten them more, the latter two... tried at least, but only managed once each) but he will get cut to ribbons if he pisses off Nebarra. He can adapt or overcome different opponents in close combat very well with his chosen weapon, and seems to have different approaches to each opponent. He will not hurt Auri or Remiel though. Not sure if he’s just never gotten aggro’d on those two or vise versa, if there’s a implemented code to keep him from going berserk on em, or he’s uniquely aware Auri will eat him should she kill him and just decided to Not Do That and Remi is, in his words, like a little sister so he wont hurt her no matter what, but he’s yet to fight them.

Remi: She generally gets people with a combo of skill and teamwork, and is pretty resourcful, Scrap helping out is also a given. Has beaten Xelzaz but apologized profusely, almost beat Redcap but stopped herself, and tried Nebarra but it, didn't go well. Most time if she is hit someone jumps in to help (Scrap automatically, but Gore also jumps in, and he can smoke quite a few folks in the party). She hasn't attacked Gore, Auri or Val, as of right now, BUT has had a near 10 minute long knock out drag down fist fight with Tally on a mountain in the Rift that ended in a tie and I’m waiting for round two to see who wins. They've yet to re-instigate the fight since. Scrap helped but she held her own very well without him after he was ejected quite suddenly from the fight.

Tally: He lasts a longer in a fight with people than other combinations, win or defeat. I chalk it up to him being used to close combat, working in and out of groups, and his experience in the Great war. Him and Nebarra are long time contenders and he’s won by both scrape of luck and strategy, has fought Xelzaz well and won more (only recently, not by much though). He got folded by Gore a lot when we first found him, still gets folded on the occasion, and he's only had one win against him. Auri has head shot him more than I can count but ultimately they are fluctuating, and Remi and him have had no winner but the longest fight I’ve ever seen between followers without one or the other falling. Neither were downed and I am waiting for the next one with concern and excitement.

Xelzaz: That Telvanni's stray firebolts have started a lot of fights. But as a good poisoner and a well taught wizard, he's got a good standing with most combatants. He has won some fights (Nebarra if he’s not right next to him immediately, Auri he has surprising good aim on though they are more or less equal) he can contend with Val and Tally for a bit, situational on who loses more, but apologizes to Remi and Redcap if he starts something with them, though he's been downed by Redcap. Gore I think has the drop on him with heavy steel and fast reflexes and the general bullheaded determination that affords pushing through being actively burnt and poisoned by Xel’s spells and weapons, so Xelzaz loses a fair bit more with him.

Redcap: Small body, big determination. He has beaten Gore, once. It was in Bleak Fall and he had 4 spears launched at him before he got close enough to hit Redcap, after which he made short work of the fight. He has had fights with him since but Gore is not an easy fight and gets the win now. Tally is his most recent win, (I got hit in the crossfire in that one), and he has taken Xelzaz down a few times but does stop the fight usually before that, same with Remi, if it happens at all. He’s been skewered by Auri, her aim is pretty damn good despite his small stature and speed, and he does damn well against Nebarra but ultimately loses (Nebarra usually gets him from behind first for some reason). Val can contend and win sometimes but hes small and VERY good at dodging Val's lightning. He also has skewered me and I and pretty sure I have died from a spear and low health combo once, so I’ll give that to him.

Nebarra is a vicious, embittered veteran of the Great war and it shows. Gore is often down in seconds, Remi taken off guard faster than you can say Dwemer, Redcap didn’t know what the Oblivion hit him, pretty sure Val hasn’t fought him only out of some begrudging respect for his skills. Regardless of these wins, him and Xelzaz have an Equal standing score more or less. Auri and Tally though are the closest thing to HR intervention to his not-so-appropriate comments on other races, but even then, those are hard won fights on their side. He's an old soldier doing whatever it takes to survive. This mer does not pull punches.

Finally, Scrap has taken down Gore, Auri, Xelzaz, Val, Redcap and a two of Xelzaz’s flame Atronachs, and they’ve all only fought him once ish to a completion. (the rest were stopped before his intervention) He attempted to aid Remi with her and Tally’s throw down but was blasted off the cliff by a well-placed ice spike. So, technically, Tally has probably the most wins against scrap in the group. But in conjunction with that, Scrap is the best fighter based on ratio of wins vs loses.

Ieama is one who has seen the most of these fights, and mostly let them resolve with a win before intervening. She is of the idea that beating the Oblivion out each other builds character and strengthens relationships. She is also a firm believer of 'talk shit, get hit' in Nebarra's case.

General retrospectives under the cut per month if anyone is curious 😘

Jan: This was a gift I made for a buddy of mine! It was of his oc that the friend group collectively simped for and cultivated together, as a family. He's a great lad and a starting point for me to use stock textures for the general look of my art

Feb: An older design of my Miraak, but I really still like this piece. It was the starting point of me trying to learn how to draw characters interacting together. While I do think I can improve in some aspects, I still think it holds up really well and looks super cute!

Mar: Ah, gore. This was the beginning of me doing a 'soft' art style. It's of a melting Emperor Belos for the Tales of a Tyrant Zine (I believe the link is still active for access to the pdf? If curious, I should still have it around somewhere. It's pretty sick ngl). I really like this piece, it helped me deal with my imposter's syndrome in the group of Amazing artists as they really liked this piece of mine! And generally I love drawing gore

Apr: This was a commission for someone on tumblr! I used my softer style for this piece and had fun figuring out how to make the light imposing but not loose the main colors and details! Also fun fact - I had a friend pose for me holding a sign so I can get GOOD hand references as google was no help

May: Ah the first full drawing on Krita. This was a test on the art program as Autodesk Sketchbook was no longer working for me on desktop (tho I still use it for my ipad art!). It's of my HOK who I don't talk much about as they're just a Dude. Sorry Jhyth, I should do more with you

Jun: This bitch. Elyden I adore you, you're my favorite oc and one of my longest lasting ones but. . . It took so damn long to get a good design with him that showed his personality and wasn't a pain to draw. I really like his design here, I think he looks wonderful

Jul: A commission done for my Skyrim fanfic's editor actually! She's pretty cool and greatly improved my writing skills! And she paid me to draw a mudcrab in Sovngarde! What more do you want? I love this piece too as I learnt how to do backgrounds in my style that won't kill me in my detailed art style

Aug: Another commission done for a friend of mine! It was based off a doodle I did of his oc as a gift but he paid me to finish it as a full rendered piece! :D I got to draw a tiddy window and an evil throne!!!

Sep: An art collab I did with a friend of mine! Where we split the image in half and drew each other's ocs interacting! It's actually the same dude as the Jan's piece. I both hate loved working on this. His hands gave me so much trouble

Oct: My second favorite oc's revamped design, Lorelei <3 I love her a lot and I really love her design. I think it fits her perfectly and you can tell what she's about immediately by just looking at her. I adore this lady (also fun fact, she's the older sister of Elyden!). This drawing means a lot to me as it was me figuring out that I like drawing character references only in more fun poses in a sense

Nov: Funny thing, I finished that drawing yesterday. But it's a reference of my Rahgot! I chose this as my Nov piece as I feel like it was when I was getting better at character designs. In terms of practicality, function, aesthetics, colors, and visual language

Dec: A commission for an old friend of mine that I knew since...fuck me, I think...6 years? He wanted me to draw an antagonist for his body horror gundom ttrpg campaign! Even though he doesn't draw, his designs fuck so hard and I'm so glad I got to draw one fully <3 I love this piece and I think it was a great send off to the end of this year

I feel like I exploded in improvement this year. My skills and my methods for art became more practical and made my life a bit easier in general in the process (especially in the coloring department). And I cannot wait to see what I'll make for next year :D

Okay, it was difficult. I chose between two characters whose 7 is dominant in the enneagram, because of this they avoid their problems _(._.)_well...

I wanted to choose Venti, but he has huge problems with responsibility or absence. He is used to drowning out moral pain with optimism, conversations, and a penchant for bad habits. And a pretty sloppy attitude.

That's why I chose Child. Of course, I don’t know what will happen in the future and whether you want to have a family, so I will talk about his family in Snezhnaya. For the comfort of his family, he will do everything. Just look at his spoiled younger brother<^!^> Of course, the "lie" question bothers me. In his case, it is rather "a lie for the good" and "a wolf in sheep's clothing." The first is for the family so that they do not worry, and the other for his work. I talked earlier about avoiding reality or problems. Tartaglia has a tendency to avoid real issues that only concern his life and injuries. In conversation, he avoids the question by making a joke out of it, so as not to begin to study himself deeply. To be really honest, I don’t dream often. Like most of the time I don’t dream at all. And the few times I dream, mostly are nonsense dreams that I forget few hours after waking up. But I faintly remember parts of a nightmare I had some time ago - I don’t remember when, tho - there was some gore and I was trying to run away from something that was trying to kill me, I weirdly couldn’t scream so I just run and then I fell. An endless fall that woke me up.

The Hobbit ! What can i say, it’s an addictive fandom ^^"

Police. They’re usually stupid enough i can work at the same time, but there’s some really nice shows i really like, like Lie To Me. 

I’d said fantasy, but good fantasy shows (to me) are rare to meet my (too high) quality criterias. Since i search for stupid police shows, i can browse a much broader pool.  I love comedy but i’m incredibly picky about humor. B99 & Psych are my two faves.

3. What’s most likely to turn you off of a ship - canonically or in fandom.

Lack of logic/chemistry. If there’s no reason for it, i’m not gonna be in :/

all of them, from “origins” to “dragon age 2″ to “inquisition”, they are all superb and it’s one giant story unfolding over 3 (and hopefully one day, 4) games where you often get to play characters you’ve met before, grown to love, etc. VERY VERY lgbtq+ inclusive btw (options to romance companions as a bi/gay person, there’s a trans npc which is adore, and canon gay & lesbian companions with strictly lgbt-related backstory, etc)

mass effect

same producers as dragon age, another trilogy that has more or less the same mechanics as DA – except that it happens in space, aliens are gay and the world is ending. also the amount of sass is off the charts so i defo recommend it if only for commander shepard’s (male or female) boss-ass one-liners.

borderlands

i STRONGLY RECOMMEND tales from the borderlands (it’s like a huge film ON CRACK where you get to pick dialogue options & life-altering choices and then u gotta live with them) – borderlands 2 (best to play with online friends, just as crazy, MEMES EVERYWHERE, my most fav of the whole franchise tbh!!!!!!!!!!!!!) – borderlands: the pre-sequel (best to play with online friends, and especially after bl2 or else you won’t understand anything)

skyrim

get “the elder scrolls V” and nothing else, it’s the best one & you can play it for days it’s just beautiful and atmospheric and funny and open-world and i recommend it always (single player)

dishonored

i started playing this one very recently so i can’t say how good the whole franchise is (2 games), but right now i’m at 3/4th of the 1st game and it’s super freaking awesome!! it’s a steampunk stealth game that reminds me of assassin’s creed except it has way more gore & magic (and fast-paced plot /coughs), your choices have (pretty dire) consequences & the atmosphere is so dark & creepy but also elegant i can barely describe it lmao. it’s A+

amnesia: memories

*rubs hands* ok so this is an otome, aka “japanese dating game”, and the art is gorgeous and the soundtrack is fun and engaging – until you realize there’s something seriously fucked up and you start dying right & left lmao. i love this trash game so much, and it’s seriously the prettiest i’ve seen so far.

starfighter: eclipse

another otome, but this one is strictly gay, though! (also, um, it’s basically porn in space); it’s a sort of a spin-off from the popular webcomic of the same name (you can read it freely on the official site) so i defo recommend reading that comic first and then getting the game (i think the site to get it from is called ‘datenighto’). i don’t exactly loooooove this game but i ADORE the comic & the universe & yeah i’d defo replay all routes *eye emoji*

dramatical murder

yeee another otome. this one is way less graphic than eclipse, but you still get the option of ending up w/ one of the many male characters. it has a few problems here and there but all in all it’s got an intense story, funny dialogues, cute characters and… i think a fair amount of blood & scary stuff, too. you can get it from here + english patch!

assassin’s creed II

this one and the 3rd (that i still gotta play) are in my opinion the only ones worth getting. i tried the 1st one and it was just boring af, and i’ve only heard negative reviews from the rest of the games. so i’d recommend you get ac2 without hesitation: it’s badass & humorous (IT HAS MEMES) & you lowkey learn some history, too.

rayman 3 + rayman: legends

i’ve been playing these 2 games since i was a kid and they are still so. freaking. good. R3 is in 3D so you get to move around, the story is hilarious, the graphism is all cute & cuddly and you can play it over and over and over tbh. as for Legends it’s back to a more 2-dimensional look BUT they’ve come up with mORE cutesy characters and monsters and stuff to collect, there are a lot of different levels where you go to shiny/psychedelic worlds and it’s still as crazy & fun. i will ALWAYS recommend these games!

i only recently started this game, and since im only playing it with my sister it can get boring. we did laugh a lot tho, especially since we are in the same room, so i just know we’ll be playing again soon (and i WANNA play). it’s a multiplayer platform where u get to download games others have made and then tweak them as you like, and our fav game right now is one where half the players turn into stuff (at will) and hide inside the game, and the other half have to catch them and shoot them to death. it’s…. way funnier than it sounds. just picture yourself chasing a table with a crowbar x) ALTHO i’d only recommend this if you have (enough) online friends who have it or at least 1 sibling willing to get it too!

the wolf among us

this game is by the same producers as tales from the borderlands, so it’s the same “movie” (very film noir tbh) where you get to move around from time to time, claw at people and pick up grumpy dialogue choices. cus, ya, you’re a werewolf in a city full of other ‘retired’ magical creatures. tRUST ME it’s sooooooooooooooo good. a masterpiece. we are currently waiting on s2 but i still recommend it a HELLA.
